It's a big story, guys. I haven't had a chance to talk about Venezuela in a bit, but we're going to talk about it today because Donald Trump trying to really reinforce, shall we say, or enforce for the first time, since, oh, I don't know, maybe Reagan, the Monroe Doctrine. And you know what it means for Nikki? Nicholas Maduro's out. He knows it. I know it. You know it. And now it's just kind of a matter of days, a matter of time, and things should be moving along. Of course, what happens then? Nicholas Maduro out in Venice way that we're going to talk about that plus Scott Besson. Oh my goodness, this guy's got a, he's got some fisticuffs in him. We got a little bit of a follow on to that story that I told you about yesterday.

You know, he got into it with Bill Pulte, Bill Pulte of Pulte homes. You know, the Pulte family. Anyway, Pulte is head of FHFA and, well, apparently they're not getting along. Also, Bessent choosing to fire one of Lodty. Lois Lerner, remember that name, IRS, Obama's Blackies, uh-huh, she's out. So that's kind of a big deal. Oh, and we're going to talk about Caring Abbas because Karen Bass, the L.A. mayor, is completely losing it. I don't know what she's trying to insinuate right now because she said she's not going to follow the law of the land. The Supreme Court ruled. Hey, guess what? They can actually see if you speak Spanish in L.A.

right now as they try and figure out who's legal, who is not, but I digress. We've got to get to the big story here. Welcome to the show, everyone. I am Trish Regan. I've got to say it's incredible. You know, no, it's so incredible. We just started this channel a couple of years ago every day, and it's thanks to you guys, and hopefully a little bit of me that we've been able to build it. I will say this. I know Venezuela inside and out. I have a ton of sources on all sides. And what I'm telling you right now is Manuro knows. The handwriting is that.

on the wall. You know, he had a good long game there. He lasted a while. Don't forget Hugo Chavez coming into power. Gosh, I was a young analyst at Goldman Sachs. I remember this well. Maybe around 1999, and we all thought, okay, we really needed to worry about Brazil and the guy that was taken over there because he was a complete company, right? He had run the union and everything. Well, he still is, but he did okay for a while in Brazil. It was the Chavismo movement that was such a problem and such a tragedy, if you would, for Venezuela. That was carried on after Hugo Chavez's death by none other than Nicholas Maduro. And he's done so with a pretty heavy hand. And it's been an absolute disaster because the economy has just tanked. You've gone from the highest standard in

all of Latin America to the lowest standard, like overnight. By the way, let that be a warning to everybody in New York that might be thinking about voting for Mamdani. Guess what? These things don't end well. They really don't. For the people, they end terribly in Mississippi. So Donald Trump weighing in on this just moments ago from the well all the way from overseas. I want to show you. People like we have Venezuela acting up in a different way. They're sending, they continue to send people that we rebuff to our border. They continue to send drugs into our country.

Venezuela, they've been very nasty and we can't let that happen. But we and we have other countries too. We do have, and this is just getting a little off subject. we have now the safest border we've ever had. And I think in many respects, we probably have the most successful. And I say it all. Yeah, we do have a much, much, much, much safer border. And forgive me, that wasn't, that was from earlier in the summer when he was over in Scotland.

But he's known about this for some time. And it's been on his radar. And he's been focused on it. Don't forget, he was focused on it before when he was there for the first time around. And Nicholas Maduro, and he have never. quite worked it out. And, well, we decided to take some action. You may recall the other day, there was that, that boat that we believed to be carrying some illicit substances, and we took that boat out. It was a pretty serious move, a move that has gotten condemned by some on the left,

but, you know, you're going to take them with a grain of salt because they'll condemn everything. And the idea here is that you're just not going to allow drug trafficking into the United States. the Department of War. That's what it's now called. They went back to the original name. The Department of War issuing a statement the day before it became the Department of War as Department of Defense, DOD, saying today two Maduro regime military aircraft flew near a U.S. Navy vessel in international waters.

This is highly provocative move. It is designed to interfere with our counter-nargo-terroring operations. And the cartel is running Venezuela is very strongly advised not to pursue any. further effort to obstruct, deter, or interfere with our operations there to counter all of this. So they're a little upset, a little upset in Venezuela. You know, they said they're coming for, they're coming for Pete, Pete Heggseth, the Secretary of War, watch out, they're onto you. Look out, Pete Hexseth.

The Venezuelan Navy is coming for you. Sovereignia. Here we're going. Here, the motor, here's the force armada. Our force armada, always accompanying. William.

Okay. Sorry, I had to have a little fun, right? We need a little levity because it actually is a really serious situation. You've got eight warships now. Head into the Caribbean, a nuclear attack submarine. You've got a surveillance aircraft.

They've all moved into the Southern Caribbean. This Southern Caribbean, as Donald Trump promises to take on Venezuela and to take on TDA, and to take on TDA, and to take on TDA. to prevent all the bad stuff from coming up into the United States of America. Now, Nicholas Maduro is like, okay, what do I do? What do I do? So he's come back saying, okay, I'm starting my own DEA effectively in Venezuela. So trying to show some good faith.

The problem for him, the problem for him is, well, he's got Marco Rubio now as Secretary of State. Okay, so that's kind of a big problem for Nicholas Maduro. Those two have a little history. They go way, way back. I mean, remember when the electric grid, went out in Venezuela and Maduro was blaming Rubio for that one. Not the case, but in other words, Rubio does actually want to see change there because he fundamentally believes it, right? I mean, he's from Florida, he's Cuban. They don't like communism and socialism and people trampling all over freedoms there in some parts of Florida, including the part that Rubio comes from. So this is becoming now a bigger and bigger issue with Pete Heggseth, of course, weighing in on the situation. They're on Fox

the other morning. My former colleague, let's listen in. The only person that should be worried is Nicholas Maduro, who's running effectively as a kingpin of a drug narco state, not actually elected and indicted for $50 million by the United States. And we know he's involved in the types of drug running that has affected the American people directly. So China and other countries are going to say certain things, and that's their prerogative. What we have there in the Caribbean is a clear demonstration of military might. President Trump has shown whether it's the southwest border, whether it's the Houthis in freedom of navigation,

whether it's midnight hammer in Iran, that the precise application of American power can have incredible impacts and reshape dynamics around the world and in the region. So Nicholas Maduro, as he considers whether or not he wants to continue to be a narco-trafficker, has some decisions to make, and that's all I'll say about that. That's all you need to say.

again, along with eight warships, a nuclear attack submarine, surveillance aircraft, all being moved into the Southern Caribbean as we speak, I'd say, you're saying a lot, right? Okay, so you're saying a lot. The question is, is this really a war on drugs or is it about something else? I'm going to tell you, because you know I'm a realist and I'm always going to level with you. This is about more than let's just counter that. And by the way, that's a real issue, right? Mexico, Colombia, they're all involved in it. So why are you singling out Venezuela? You know where you're singling out Venezuela? One, because of the communism dictatorship, right, that is awful for people to live on under. And too, because, all right, we're realists here on the Trish Rican show. They get a lot of oil. They got so much oil. I've been to

this particular region, the Orinoco region, heavy, heavy, heavy oil, but we get the technology, right, to get it out of the ground. They got all this oil there. So that makes them so much more interesting and compelling in terms of, you know, let's be honest, where do we pick our battles? We got a lot of oil sitting right there in the backyard, like three hours from Miami, and we can't get at it. And because you got somebody in the way. And I thought for a moment, like he was going to get out of the way and he was going to let US energy companies in and we were going to have access to all this stuff. It would make us less dependent on the Saudis.

We could diversify a little bit. It is right here in our hemisphere. But that wasn't the case. So now we are making it known that there needs to be a change. And Marco has made this extremely clear. and people want it. It's turned in by one of his close, you know, close allies around him, or what if he decides to negotiate his exit, then what?

Will this woman hear your name? Maria Teresa, Morin. Maria Teresa represents the opposition party in Venezuela, Maria Corina of Machado, and so tell us what you think will happen if he steps out. First of all, I think justice, the liberation of all the political prisoners in Venezuela, the transition to a democratic government, no more human trafficking,

no more poisoning the people of America, especially the young people, no more smuggling arms, arm smuggling. It's going to start a new era for all Latin America, and not only for Venezuela, I think it could mean the liberation also of the region, Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia. Yes, a lot of people here are saying

they expect a domino effect if Venezuela goes down. That's just great. So that's Rachel Duffy, wonderful woman, one of my former colleagues as well. I have a lot of those. I worked at a few networks along the way. Okay, so Rachel, who I do believe speak Spanish as well, is talking to people about what it actually means. And I can tell you that there's a lot of people in the opposition, a lot of different factions

in the opposition, but overwhelmingly they want this freedom. They want to return to the days when they actually had freedom. and capitalism and a chance to be something in Venezuela. You don't have that anymore. Again, New York City, for goodness sakes, take note with this Mamdami idiot trying to run for mayor. Meanwhile, okay, Maduro's out there saying, no, no, no, no, no, no.

They just want to make me into the bad guy. For some reason, I'm the bad guy, that's all this is about. He's not entirely wrong, right? Every good story needs a good villain, and Mr. Maduro, for whatever reason, you seem to fit the bill. So, forgive me. Forgive me. I realize you don't speak Spanish, but there is a translation there. He talks about, by the way, interestingly, this is happening on RT, Russia television, okay? So this is giving you some insight. We're going to get into this about who his friends are. Okay. He likes the rest of. Okay. He likes the Russian television. Okay. So this is giving you some insight. We're going to get into this about who his friends are. Okay. He likes the

Russians, he likes the Chinese, he likes the Iranians. And he's talking about, you know, they're just picking on poor old me because I seem to fit this idea. They get to, you know, they, they can't say Maduro has weapons. He's complaining to Russia or say about me what they said about, let's continue on here, probably about some of those, you know, really bad guys out there. So they bring up these stories, Hollywood style, where Maduro, Maduro is the bad guy. And then they are going to be the good guys in the movie, and that's how it's all being told. Well, we all know it's a little more complicated than that, right? To be fair to Mr. Maduro, a little more complicated. However, there are political prisoners there in Venezuela. There were Americans that were held in Venezuela

that, you know, I met the families of, and thank God they're out now. Remember the sicko six? You know, there were sicko employees, and they picked them up. I mean, this is, this is not a good place. and we don't have a good relationship with them. And there were sanctions, et cetera, put in place. I can tell you this. Marco Rubio is going to make his career on this if he's successful. The big question is if. Because I have a feeling, yeah, Maduro can be gone.

Like, that can happen and it probably is going to happen very, very, very soon. But then what happens next? And that's the question that Rachel, my friend Rachel, at Fox was trying to get it as well. Like, what happens next? Because you need to have something in place in order to not have total better. them, right? We've seen this in some parts of the world. I hate to compare and contrast with Iraq, and I don't think these are similar really in any way, but it's an example, right? Maybe, you know, or Libya, right where you have a dictatorship that just completely like comes

apart at the seams when you get rid of the bad guy. And so you got your person and then what? Okay, so we need to be thinking about then what? Marco Rubio doubling down as you saw him the other day saying he doesn't buy anything. The UN trying to sell. He knows what's going on in Venezuela, and he's going back to the narco stuff. Listen. Oh, we can't hear it, can we? Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. I got it. I got it. I got it. I don't care what the UN says. The UN doesn't know what they're talking about. Maduro is indicted by a grand jury in the Southern District of New York. That means the Southern District of New York presented the evidence to a grand jury,

and a grand jury indicted him. And then a superseding indictment came out that was unsealed about a year and a half ago that specifically detailed Maduro's actions. So number one, let there be no doubt. Nicholas Maduro is an indicted drug trafficker in the United States, and he's a fugitive of American justice. And he's got the Department of War now after him, because he thought it might be a good idea to send a couple of, you know, a couple of aircraft to try and goose the guys on the naval ships.

that was not a good move. You do not provoke the beast, for goodness sakes. I mean, come on. Like, do I have to show you my funny naval video again? I won't do that. But the point is, guys, like, come on. I mean, it's over. All right? So let's just plan the best thing for the country and for you and for the people. If you care about the people, I mean, apparently he just doesn't want to leave. He's been offered opportunities to leave. You know, this has been an ongoing dialogue. In fact, I read an interesting piece by the guy who was running the policy down there. Let me see if I can show this to you, because he's got some suggestions. And basically his suggestion is, get out while you can, buddy, because you may not have this thing end so well.

This is written by Elliot Abrams. Remember Elliot Abrams? He was running basically the Latin American Venezuela policy for Donald Trump in the first go-around. And Elliot Abrams has a history. he was involved in some of the discussions with Noriega, and he knows a lot about this region. Of course, let me just get this front and center, because I want to talk to you about this. And so we want this guy out, and I think Donald Trump these days, he gets what he wants, right? He gets what he wants. So let's think about how this would actually run. Could you just, you know, offer him something up?

Apparently they tried to do that, right, with Noriega and, as Elliot points out, he didn't make the right choice. In 1988, he said the U.S. engaged in negotiations with Panama's then dictator Manuel Noriega. Noriega had been indicted in Miami for drug trafficking. Oh, a similar thing. Okay, we get the drug trafficking again. And we wanted him out of office and out of Panama. Gosh, it's like deja vu, right? I, he writes, was at the time assistant secretary of state.

for Latin America and the Reagan administration, working under Secretary of State George Schultz. To get Noriega out and return Panama to democracy, we offered him a deal. We said, hey, you know what? We're going to quash this indictment. We'll get rid of the indictment about the drug stuff if you'll just go. So here you go. We could do the same thing, right? Because he's wanted on drug trafficking, and that actually happened under Biden. And there's a $50 million bounty on his head. We could make all that go away. So apparently, Noriega negotiated for a while, according to Elliott, but in the end, he refused. He claimed that he could not agree to save his scalp only and that he'd be abandoning others and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I think he also

figured that no matter what, like somebody would knock him off. So maybe he didn't fully trust us. I don't know the answer. But it was a bad choice because eventually he spent, I guess, the rest of his life in jail. And so Elliot is saying, hey, hey, Nikki, you know what? You got a choice. Don't do what Noriega did. Get out. get out while you still can. So, you know, it would be great because Marco Rubio would have a big win. Pete Higgsath would have a big win. Donald Trump would have a big win. Venezuela would have a big win. And guess what? We, the United States of America citizens, we'd have a big win. You know why? Oil, oil, oil, oil. I hate to be so crass. You know, I remember years ago, years and years and

years ago, like early in my reporting career back when we were first going into Iraq. And I was asking an oil analyst about this. And nobody talked about it because everybody was like, oh, democracy and freedom and democracy and freedom and do, and this guy said to me, and I'll never forget it. He said, this war is about oil. It's plain and simple about oil. And he said, there's nothing wrong with that. We need oil. We need lots of oil. And I was so taken back, right, to hear that. And it hit me, it was like, okay, yeah, this is the way the real world works, right? So, in light of that, because I'm always going to level with you and tell you how the real world works,

yeah, we can talk about democracy and freedom. It would be great for all the people there. That's like an added benefit, right, to be able to have a shot at something better. But this is why we care, okay? The map I just put on the screen, this is why we care. It's called the Orinoco region. It's in Venezuela. It's the big special part of it, I highlighted in blue.

Excuse my scribble. It's a little, you know, I used one of those highlighter things. But anyway, that's the Orinoco region. We care about that. We used to have oil operations there until Chavez kicked everyone out because all those gringoes were stealing our oil. Well, guess what? He can't do anything with the oil.

Maduro can't do anything with the oil because these guys are clueless and they don't have the technology. And so consequently the people are suffering. The oil's not on the market. We don't have access. and look, the handwriting's on the wall for goodness sakes, you get AI that's exploding and what is AI need energy. You got natural gas and lots of oil, heavy oil, so it's costly to get it out of the ground, but still, it's there. That's the dark green part, the one that is the Orinoco region. So let's not

kid ourselves, right? This is oil that matters to us. Marco, you know, maybe it's more about an ideological bent for him, right? Because again, like the Florida thing and, and, and, and, and, you know, And I feel passionately about that too, but I also am pretty concerned because you know who's been hanging out there lately in Venezuela? Chinese. They just went in. This story just coming up this week, maybe a day or two ago in Reuters, a floating oil facility just arrived in Venezuela for the China Concord Project.

Uh-huh. A little more information on this, and I have confirmed this with sources. Charlotte, good to see you back here. I'm going to get to your comment in a second. The first new floating facility to produce crude at a $1 billion project operated by China Concord Resources Corporation of Venezuela has arrived in Lake Maracaibo. The country's second largest output region according to two sources and images. The Chinese company, it's known as CCRC, is moving to ramp up, says Reuters, output at two key oil fields in western Venezuela. Lago Cinco and Lagin, what is that?

Laginias Lago and hoping to reach 60,000 barrels a day by the end of next year from 12,000 BPD currently. It is a rare boost from a private Chinese firm. Okay, so this is like not good. Can we go back to Monroe Doctrine? What are we doing with the Chinese in Venezuela? I mean, first of all, that's a little too close, right? For comfort, it's like the Russians in Cuba.

By the way, the Russians are down there too. and the Iranians and like you take your pick. But this is a biggie, right? This just came out, like within the last couple of days, news that there is a Chinese oil company setting up a flotilla there in the oil area of Venezuela at Lake Maracabo. I don't think I'm okay with that. Are you okay with that? Just curious. I'm not okay with it. So lots of things are going on. I mean, I would say, understand there's a couple dueling views out there. My friend Rick Grinnell, constant presence on my shows at Fox. You may remember him.

He was a Fox News contributor. And now he's like a special envoy to Latin America. Well, he kind of had a solution, it seems. But we don't know too much because they just retracted the intelligence report on Venezuela. Like literally, a couple hours ago today. Tulsi was like, yeah, we're not going to let this thing float out there. Now, why would that be? Well, perhaps because they didn't want to divulge too much of the deal points because now we're back at the negotiating table. And Marco's in charge now. So Marco is running the op. Rick had negotiated a few

things, including getting our oil companies in there, but I don't think he negotiated getting Maduro out. And that's the sticking point now. Because Marco's playing for a bigger win. here. Marco wants Maduro gone because he wants the people, right, to have something. And so that gets us back to a little bit of the Americana and we can feel good about that, I hope, so long as, so long as. Let's be careful on this. And you know the president as well as I do on this topic. He's not going to send American troops down there where he's losing American lives because he wants to free the people of Venezuela from the tyranny of Nikki. Okay? Like that's not going to happen. So Marco's going to have to be careful how hard he plays this card. It says Mr. Grinnell,

who serves as an envoy to Venezuela, has been an advocate for negotiations with none other than Nicolas Maduro, whereas Marco Rubio has pushed for a more hardline approach, exactly what I could tell you and what all of my sources have said. Meanwhile, Mr. Grinnell, Rick, has been looking for some kind of realistic deal approach that would allow American oil companies back in. I mean, before you say, well, who cares about oil? Let me just remind you that all of this AI stuff going on takes a lot of energy and a lot of nat gas and a lot of oil. And so that's why you want it.

Okay? We still need to be supreme. We want to drill baby drill all weekend right here in the good old US of A. And then, you know, when you've got Canada there and you got Venezuela there, I'd be looking at all my ducks in a row, literally, up and down. I think I wrote a paper in college like way back when, scared the heck out of my Columbia. University professor who told me, like, I sounded a little too much like Pat Buchanan. But my point was, we're going to reach a stage where we really need supremacy over this hemisphere. Now, I'm not,

I'm not talking about, you know, we have to be the world's policemen or anything, but, you know, our borders matter. Borders matter. And in the case of a place like Venezuela, where they actually are rich with natural resources, all kinds of natural resources, including some gold, although they've depleted the country of a lot of that. You know, you got, you got communists in charge. What do you expect? You know, the oil is a real thing. You also have a large population that at one point was pretty decently educated. Obviously, that has changed significantly, that once enjoyed a fairly decent standard of living, and that also is sympathetic with us, at least, you know, in terms of the Western culture, religion, et cetera, a lot of Catholics there. So lots of reasons, right, for us to

want to have a good relationship and us to want to have some of that oil. So we want to be careful of these dueling views because here's what I'm going to tell you, the president of the United States. You know what he cares about, results? So he wants results and he does not want to risk any American lives. So my advice to Marco, Marco, if you're listening, you should come on, Marco. I won't do what you, I won't do to you what Margaret Brennan does. I'll let you talk. But my advice would be think this one through, do it, but think it through and know what the next steps are. Who's going to take over next? Are you going to hold elections? Can we say maybe negotiate some decent exit path for Maduro because, you know, the guys like kicking and screaming

doesn't want to go could create quite a bit of trouble. So do you negotiate some kind of exit path, but put someone in that you know, that you know, and maybe it's Maduro, is going to allow for free elections in, say, six months, right? Or maybe sooner, maybe three months. Let's have some elections. There's some frontrunners out there, right? I mean, you had Capriela's before and you have Maria Corino Machado. There's a lot of people. Juan Guado is kind of yesterday's news, but you have some people that could take over this and do so in a way that would be very beneficial for the country and very beneficial for us. So let's think through that and make sure that we have the right team in place.

Is this, oh yes, I wanted to show you guys this. Remember when I was talking about China and how important it is to think about the Chinese risk and all of this? Rodero is no fool. He knows that. He went on and did this little TikTok about how great the Huawei phone is, it's so much better than Apple. By the way, the new Apple phone out today, my son is texting me about it. I think I'm actually going to get it, believe it or not. A little patriotism there since Tim Cook said he's putting $600 billion into the U.S. of A the other night at the White House.

Anyway, he's trying to brag about his Chinese phone, kind of stupid, because the Chinese are listening to everything he says. There's a telephone that me regal-me-hral-me-Ras-Chimpin. This one of the way. Again, I'm sorry. what, I speak Spanish. I'm the gringa that speaks Spanish. I'm actually Irish, but yeah, I speak Spanish because you study ever in Spain, in Barcelona when I was in high school, and somehow I have a good way with languages. So I speak a few languages. Spanish is one of them. So sometimes

I forget, so forgive me on that. But basically, he's like, look at my phone. Isn't this terrific? It's from China. So that's a message saying, yeah, you know what? China. China. China's investing in us. China's taking our oil and we're somehow giving it to them, right? To hear that, US of A. So it's complicated. This is a long-winded way of saying, you know what, Maduro, his days are up and we need to be smart. We need to be smart about what the plan is, who's going to take over for Maduro when these elections are going to happen? We need to make sure they are free and fair. And let me tell you, a lot of people could walk into the judge. job and you just need to make sure you get the right one. Again, I'm a realist, right? We want somebody

who's going to embrace the U.S., not China, who's going to embrace the U.S., not Russia. It's important. It's an important inflection in this particular moment in time. So, Nick, we wish you all the best. I don't think you're going to get to stay on. I think you know that. I know that. Everybody knows that. So negotiate an exit strategy. And Marco. get a good plan together. We need it. Much more stuff going on. Oh my goodness. Like Scott Besson, who knew? I didn't know. He added in him. I really didn't. So Scott Bessent is the first gay treasury secretary of the United States Treasury. So he's not exactly like somebody that you would think is out there swinging at people, right? Like, you know, I'm not, I'm not trying to stereotype. But actually,

one of my friends who is of that persuasion said, you know, in a way he has to kind of like fight harder to make it known to everybody that he means business. I wouldn't have thought of it in that way, but it might explain some of this. I will tell you, everybody's money is unbessent all day long. I mean, I admire Palti for having the, you know what, to go after the likes of Letitia James. but in terms of seriousness of character, Besson's like the real deal. I mean, for better or for worse, he took down the Bank of England, okay?

Like, he's really smart when it comes to finance. And so apparently, according to New York Post, and then this has been reported out more so today. It all happened at this club, a club that's owned by Don Jr. and Malik Omar, who is his business partner in this venture. there's this club in D.C. that I guess all the conservatives go to, not like a club club, like a nightclub, like a gentleman's club that has women too. Okay, so they're both there.

And apparently he went up to him and he screamed at him because he thinks that Pulte and Pulte may have been talking smack to Trump about Bessent. He said, I'm going to punch you in your effing face. So there's this guy. I mean like Besson's like 6'2 or something. And Pulte's like this little 5-8 guy, right? So it's like, oh, wow. Okay, this Treasury Secretary means business. He is no joke. Anyway, do you remember who Pulte is?

Let me show you because some of you guys may not. He's the guy. He is, to his credit, going after Letitia James, along with some others like Lisa Cook and Adam Schiff, because apparently in D.C. It's no big deal. You just get a third mortgage, a second mortgage. It doesn't matter.

You can count it as a primary and you get a break on the interest rate. Huh, please. We recommended that the DOJ investigate New York Attorney General Letitia James over alleged mortgage fraud. The AG, Latisha James, has responded. We don't have the video, but here's the quote, this investigation into me is nothing more than retribution. It's baseless. It has to do with the fact that on a power of attorney,

I mistakenly indicated that I was a state of Virginia resident. And prior to that, I indicated to the mortgage broker, that in fact in bold cap letters that I am not a resident of Virginia and never will be. They just took the power of attorney and they're using that as a basis for enforcement of their investigation. Bill, do you know why she said she was a resident of Virginia on the power of attorney if in fact she wasn't? Well, I know that we are mortgage experts and we only refer things that we think are mortgage fraud and we stand 100% behind the letter. I'll let the letter speak for itself. I do know and I have seen some reports.

I just wanted to remind you about who Bill Pulte was because, you know, he's not, he's not like a name brand yet. That's the criticism. According to the New York Post, a lot of people in the White House feel like he's overly aggressive in terms of his hunt for media attention. I don't know about that. I think the media is calling, like, the minute you start coming out with these mortgage allegations against the likes of Schiff and Leticia James, I do think that there's a fair chance the media is going to call and ask you to come on TV and explain. it all. So that's partly what's going on. The other thing, though, is that, you know, apparently Vescent just can't stand him. Oh, this is another story I want to tell you,

because he's firing a lady that used to work for Lois Lerner. Do you guys remember Lois Lerner? It's really, he's not messing around. He's really making his opinions. No, and don't forget, he was actually the guy who took on Elon Musk. Remember when Elon Musk had that black eye and we all thought it was because what Elon said, which was that he got into a tussle with X, well, apparently it may have been a little bit more than that. Now, I do not know if it was actually peasant slugging him, but I'm going to tell you this, it could have been. I mean, really, it could have been. It absolutely could have been because apparently he's got a propensity for these things.

According to the New York Post again, the New York Post reports that he actually did sort of side check Elon Musk. They were having some quarrels over the time regarding IRS stuff. But anyway, again, back to Pulte versus Besson. Who's your money on? Who's your money on? Apparently, Bessent, who's 63, by the way, and Pulte's just 37. He threatened to beat him up because he's been trash-talking him.

He lashed out at Pulte saying, quote, why the F are you talking to the president about me? F you. Tom's going to love this. I mean, when, when did the Treasury Department inspire like such interest? You know what they say? Well, I think he would say, you know, he'd welcome these headlines. I don't think he's going to have a problem. And he goes on to say, I'm going to punch you in your effing face. Bessent saying this to little Pulte.

And apparently Pulte's response was not entirely clear. I'm sure he was in a state of shock. I'm sure he's not used to getting quite called out like that. I'm still a little surprised because, again, in the finance world, that doesn't really happen. But I think that Besson's kind of realizing, you know, these people in Washington, D.C., It can be kind of swarmy, even when they're Republicans. So, yeah, apparently the nickname. This is the ticker tape, if you would, for the Scott Besen versus Bill

Bill Pulte scandal. Bessent is called the tariff sheriff and Pulte is the house hunter. Get it? Because, you know, he's looking for who has a second or third home and maybe has a primary mortgage. Besson 63. Little Pulte is 37. Besson, of course, is the Treasury Secretary. Then you get Pulte, who's the Federal Housing Finance Agency Director.

Bessent went to Yale University. Pulte went to Northwestern University. Famous relatives. Well, I'll tell you this. Pulte was really born with a silver spoon because you know who his grandfather is? William J. Pulte. Real estate developer, Pulte Holmes. You know, I'd say previously, the best of the best of the best of them.

biggest opponent for Scott Besson was Elon Musk. So one might think he's kind of punching down a little bit, literally and figuratively, but that is the case right now. Look, I have nothing against Pulte. I think the whole thing is sort of funny. Unfortunately, unfortunately, there's a lot of intrigue, like palace intrigue that goes on with being in Washington, D.C. It's why I could never do it. Like, seriously, I would never last. They'd like, I'd say exactly what I think, I was thinking all the time, I'm a girl so I don't go around punching, but, you know, it would be like, I would be like a walking time bomb. I would be a terrible press secretary because I would always tell you the truth. I could never massage or spin anything.

And I'd probably take a lot of people off. There you have it. I'm much better over here, much, much, much better over here on my little podcast, which is not a little anymore. Recommended that the DOJ investigate New York Attorney General Letitia James. It's a live show. What can we say? That was a mistake. Scott Besson is firing. He's firing the lowest learner aid at the IRS. Do you guys remember Lois Lerner? Can I take you back in history to the Obama days?

I know it was like a bad nightmare, but this woman was caught reportedly going after conservatives. Now, why wouldn't that surprise me? Really and truly, like, why wouldn't that surprise me in the Obama administration that they might want to go after Tea Party people, conservatives? Yeah, I mean, that would kind of gel with everything else, right?

Including how they tried to take Trump down with this Obamagate thing, that Tulsi Gabbard is bringing forth It was such sunlight. It's amazing. Yeah, they tried to take the president down, but, you know, that was later. Earlier on, Lois Lerner over at the IRS was involved in some controversy back in 2013 because it became public that the IRS had subjected certain, certain nonprofit organizations, those that were Tea Party aligned groups to extra scrutiny when they applied for their tax-exempt status. And this triggered, of course, all kinds of accusations of the political bias and abuse of power.

So she was supposed to testify before Congress. She took the Fifth Amendment. She never had to go to jail because, well, Obama said it was okay. But, you know, she's got her peep still walking the halls of the IRS, including this lady, Holly Paz, who served as the IRS commissioner of large business and the international division. And she was just fired. Besson said, see ya, you're fired, you're out. Now, it's unclear exactly why is this particular Twitter account.

I think this is Eric Dardy's Twitter account, who's definitely worth following from Florida's voice, he's writing how you need to get all the traders out of the IRS. I mean, why do you want people that might have been of the persuasion of Lois learner that was doing some really sketchy, skeptical things there. So again, Scott's getting rid of her, which is kind of an interesting thing. You know, he's flexing his might and his power, just as he did with this little NBC news reporter who doesn't seem to understand, ladies and gentlemen,

the difference between, say, Jerome Powell, chairman of the Federal Reserve, and the FOMC, federal open market. committee that actually sets interest rates. So he had a little fun. You know, it's always fun. When you're like knee-deep in economics and business and you get these reporters that know nothing, you can tweak them. That's what he did. Bottom line, Mr. Secretary, will the Fed chair set interest rates or will President Trump? The Fed share doesn't set interest rates. The FOMC sets interest rates. So it is a board.

Should President Trump have a say? And that the president, President Trump is going to make his views known, just like President Biden did. President Biden in the state of the union. His last state of the union said he thought there was going to be an interest rate cut. Senator Warren called for a 75 basis interest rate point interest rate cut this time this year. She did. But that was just funny. Because Kristen Welker has no idea what he's talking.

She doesn't even know what the 75 basis points. I mean, I'm sorry. You wish like reporters were a little bit smarter, but the reality is they're just not. I think we've seen that over and over again. A lot of people aren't so smart, including a lot of the quote unquote smart money, right? Hey, you know what? I'm pretty smart. So is my colleague over at 76 Research.

But Karen Bass, right now, I mean, like, this is more than Karen level. She's the mayor of L.A., and she's actually talking about,

like, I don't know, is she going to, like, remove California? Is this like we're going to secede from the union kind of stuff? Because she has no interest in following the Supreme Court's law. Yeah, yeah. There's a law that she doesn't like. Scotus Supreme Court of the United States of America coming out and saying, you know what? Donald Trump can resume his immigration stops in the Los Angeles area. And that means, guess what? You can listen for language because if they hear you speak in Spanish and you don't speak any English. And maybe if you're in a certain, you know, particular job site or something,

the court is allowing them to profile in that sense. Why? Oh, because Commerce Clause, supremacy, Laws, Foreign Affairs and Sovereignty Clause. I'm telling you, this is the way it is Karen Bass, you know. Maybe take a little primer in the law because if there's one thing the federal government has power over, it is who is in the country. We have power over the borders.

That's the federal government all day long. Congress makes the law. And guess what ICE has to enforce it? And if you're going to get in the way, you're going to cause a heck of a lot of problems. I don't know what you're thinking. Saying things like this. Listen. Let me just say, community, we will not. Let me just say, we will bring justice to this issue, to our community, we will not stand for this type of discrimination and racism. Thank you. Well, if you're going to try and prove yourself with voters doing this, I would just say, you're going to have a hard time. You know, you're going to have a really, really hard time because I don't know what exactly you're planning. I mean, you and you.

your buddy out there in Chicago, the guy who's got the 150 police detail all for himself and his wife, but he doesn't want any more police in the streets of Chicago. Oh, by the way, yeah, he too is not going to cooperate with ICE. He said as much. Watch. And division, look, we are welcoming city ordinance. Our local police department will not ever cooperate with ICE. Whatever their constitutional authority is. I'm like sort of dumbfounded by that. He said, we're not going to cooperate with ICE, whatever their constitutional authority is.

So what is this, bedlam? is this anarchy? It certainly sounds like anarchy. When the Supreme Court of the United States of America comes out and says, hey, guess what? You can do this.

And these stops can move forward. And Karen Bass says, no way. No way, Jose, no pun intended. When Brandon Johnson says, no way, it's not happening, we are not going to under any circumstances cooperate. When you get Kathy Holkel allegedly looking to see if anybody in upstate New York

dared to cooperate with ICE on the local police forces, and she wants to penalize them for it? Well, I'm sorry, the law's the law, guys. Like, what are you doing? What are you trying to do? It kind of seems like they're trying to go off the reservation, so to speak, where they're just going to take the law into their own hands. And I'm going to just tell you, at that point, you're looking at some real problems. I mean, real problems, because you might as well just be your own country.

California, good luck on that. I don't think you'd be able to survive two days as your own country because nobody actually wants to live there. Really and truly, nobody wants to live there. It's really kind of remarkable in many ways. And I'm stunned by how these lawmakers are just willing to say, to hell with you, right? It's the Supreme Court. There is no room there. There's no wiggle room there.

They're trying to argue that this is effectively some kind of racial profiling. And the court's like, well, yeah. I mean, it is because the people that are here don't speak English. And since they don't speak English, well, we are going to pursue them. And if you don't cooperate, then I guess, we can arrest you, Karen. Is that what happens? Is that where this goes? I mean, I would say that, you know, they can try and slow it down all they want. They can try and limit cooperation. But you think about the historic parallels, and you can go back to 1954, if you would,

with Brown v. Board of Education, and the court had ruled that segregated schools were unconstitutional, and you had some people that didn't want to go along with that, and guess what? That was a problem. You sent in the National Guard. Hey, we already know we can send in the National Guard. So there's historical precedent for this. I would say that Karen Baez trying to say that she's not going to do this, along with Brandon Johnson, along with Michelle Wu, in Boston, is really, really, really troubling. They're always going on about how Donald Trump's not going to obey the Supreme Court,

and yet it's them. It's they that don't want to obey the Supreme Court. Let me share with you Justice Brett Kavanaugh's opinion in the conservative majority, arguing that because of L.A.'s large undocumented population, factors like race or limited English proficiency actually could be considered relevant factors in forming reasonable suspicion. And so thus, the court is allowing for the use of the totality of circumstances standard to establish reasonable suspicion. And this is part of it. So, yeah, you know, I don't know what they're thinking or where they're trying to take this, but it's not good. Like, it's really not good. I mean, eventually they'll all get voted out because you see what's happening in Chicago.

Nobody wants them anyway, for goodness sakes. I mean, who the heck wants a mayor who doesn't prioritize his own citizens, who cares only about, who cares only about making sure. he gets more money allegedly from taxpayers because, you know, the rich can pay. The rich can pay. I mean, I'll tell you, I was looking at some of the sound here. Chicago residents speaking out. They're mad.

It just gone from bad to worse to disaster. No one really feels safe. It's impossible to feel safe for the city like this, especially with the leadership we have. Insane. My opinion, not enough police officers. The police is really unappreciated wrong. offhand under the under brandon johnson lorry licewood j b prister those the three are the reason why nobody don't want to be a police their policies when it calls the crime it's not working at all

i think the biggest piece of the pie has to be more police officers more protection that's what the people want that's what the people want okay they want it in chicago they want it in l a and they want it everywhere. And, you know, when you look at the most recent poll for one Donald Trump, did you guys see this? I talked about it the other day. It was amazing. He's at a 55% approval rating.

And it coincides directly with the crackdown on crime in D.C. If these politicians were smart, they would not look a gift horse in the mouth. But you know what? No one said they were smart. They're not. They're actually total idiots. that can't really see if you were the forest for the trees, and they're putting everybody at risk as a result.

It is something else. It is something else. Listen, lots going on. We're going to get into some of the Venezuela stuff again tomorrow because I'm looking at a new Gallup poll. Suddenly people don't like capitalism anymore. Do I need to remind them what's happening about three hours south of Miami?

Not good. I mean, people are starving. They don't have access to running water. is just an abomination of travesty and horror down there. And it didn't need to be that way. I don't want to see that happened in New York or any other place in America for that matter, which is why this moment in time is really important and really precious. I hope Marco Rubio, Pete Hagg said, Donald Trump, I hope they all get this one right, because there's a lot riding on it. Okay, I'm going to be back tomorrow with much more.
