The Trish Regan Show - BREAKING: Schiff Loses It--Diddy Lawyer FLEES as New FBI Dir Threatens to Expose EVERYTHING -- Even Epstein!

Episode Date: February 22, 2025

Shockwaves through Washington as Kash Patel is officially confirmed as head of the FBI. This, as Pam Bondi promises to reveal “the list” everyone has been waiting for… Meanwhile, Diddy’s lawye...r is fleeing the disgraced rap star’s team.  It all comes as states continue to reel from President Trump’s directives — The Governor of Maine told the President she’d see him in court during a fiery meeting caught on tape at the White House today… and, some members of Congress suggest their alligence is no longer to the United States! (Now you tell us?)  Meanwhile, more trouble at The View. As Trish Regan has reported, talent like Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar are being advised to “tone it down” and, the advice is reportedly not being received so well… A new report confirms what Trish has explained. Disney is not happy and The View may jeapardize the entire company. How much trouble is Disney really in? Well, ABC News, the producer of The View, was called out again today (Trish has the clip) by none other than the President, just as Snow White releases its trailer to an abysmal showing on YouTube. On top of that? Captain America is not bringing in the money that had been expected. All this and more! Starting point is 00:00:00 I'd say we're off to the races, are we not? Ladies and gentlemen, Kosh Patel in as FBI director and oh my gosh, shockwaves going through Washington right now. Pam Bondi saying she has that very important list, you know which one I'm talking about right on her desk and it's all getting exposed. Kosh promising today in his hearings, he's going to make sure, not just in the hearings, in the confirmation today that it's all coming out, right? I just thought it was a funny meme for us to begin, begin this afternoon with, wow. Guys, take a look. Promise you the following.
Starting point is 00:01:00 There will be accountability within the FBI and outside of the FBI. And we will do it through rigorous constitutional oversight starting this weekend. Isn't that great? And there he is, accompanied by his country music singing girlfriend, beautiful woman by his side. I was saying to one of our producers, wow, she makes him look really good. I mean, he's good on his own, right? He means business and we like that. But he was standing there with his girlfriend during the confirmation or rather, yeah, the confirmation process today. He's now the new head of the FBI and I'm telling you they are losing it. They are absolutely losing it. Adam Schiff,
Starting point is 00:01:43 he actually held a press conference as this vote happened just yesterday. I want you to see it. I want to compare and contrast Adam Schiff with one Kosh Patel. He held a press. press conference. I mean, that in and of itself tells you a lot. This is someone we cannot trust. This is someone who lacks the character to do this job, someone who lacks the integrity to do this job. We know that. Our Republican colleagues know that. The only qualification Cash Patel has to be FBI director is that when everyone else in the first Trump administration said, no, I won't do that. That crosses moral, ethical, and legal lines, Cash Patel said, sign me up. In the first Trump administration, as we are seeing
Starting point is 00:02:34 in the second, you rise to the level of your sycophancy, and no one is a bigger or my dangerous sycophant than Cash Patel. This political hack does not deserve to be in this building. He can't do the job. He won't protect the public. He will misuse the resources of the Bureau. he will weaponize it against the president's political opponents rather than the protecting the safety, the public safety of the American people. Adam Schiff is the worst criminal in Congress in the last 250 years. And what it's broke that we're going to talk about right now is Adam Schiff met with a whistleblower. Adam Schiff went to the podium day after day after day saying, I know nothing about this.
Starting point is 00:03:20 We're not going to discuss it. We're going to protect it. And then he, Adam Schiff, led the president. prosecution of the impeachment trial in the Senate of President Donald Trump. Talk about someone who was conflicted out of the game because he was part of the hoax that brought Charmella in, manufactured that false accusation, and then peddled it out to the world and he continued, you know, not surprising. He's lied about almost everything in his life, but now he lied just to set up a presidential impeachment. And that's what I was talking about,
Starting point is 00:03:50 these disinformation campaigns. And then they should, he should be investigated because he lied to world about his interactions with Charmella, who was a whistleblower, and I can't stress enough, that started a presidential impeachment. Now, your history is way better than mine, but I can't remember the last time a president was actually impeached. It's a significant process and escalation, and it's reserved for the time when it actually shows a crime, not when it shows the manufacturer of fake information to show a fake crime. The guy that found and manufactured the evidence with Charmella was the prosecutor in the case. against the target of the investigation.
Starting point is 00:04:28 That is the ultimate from a prosecutorial standpoint conflict of interest. But he knew what he was doing and he thought he would never get exposed. And I think thanks to, you know, I think it was John Solomon and his fantastic reporting. We now see what I've been saying for years that I thought he met with him for sure and it will come out and it now has. Okay, that was just one of the impeachments, right? Because he was impeached twice. And don't forget how this all began. Ladies and gentlemen, go all the way back to 2016.
Starting point is 00:04:53 and the FISA warrant on Carter Page, who was working in Trump Tower for the Trump campaign, and they drummed up the excuse to be able to get a judge to sign off on the FISA warrant with a bunch of nonsense with this whole idea that somehow Donald Trump was an asset of Vladimir Putin's because they had the goods on them vis-a-vis some dirty dossier tape, right? That was all made up, and we learned that it was all made up. of a group that was hired by Hillary Clinton's law firm. They hired Fusion GPS. And these guys went out and hired Christopher Steele, who went out and hired more people, including someone that they suspected, our own government suspected, of being a Russian spy. I mean, you can't make it
Starting point is 00:05:40 up. So they did all this. They launched us on, frankly, a very dangerous path from the beginning, and you've got to say to yourself, like, why? What was that all about? And now, fast forward that many years and they're freaking terrified. Because he's coming back with vengeance. This is a totally different kind of administration than we saw first time around. He wanted to do a lot of good stuff early on, but they were always in the way. He had four years to think about it. And he had legal teams that could dive in and start to figure stuff out. And so now they're coming back and they're ready and they're armed and they're doing things and one after another after another. And part of what they're going to do is they're going to expose all of it.
Starting point is 00:06:22 When I say all of it, I mean all of it, and you know that there's a lot there. There's a lot to expose. And you can go back decades. I mean, the money alone, what we have learned about USAID and how all these media companies were getting paid off. I mean, effectively, they were state media, at least NPR. And PBS have the decency to tell us that there's state media and funded by taxpayers. These guys never told us. So the New York Times was getting some 30 million from HHS. You wonder why Fauci got glowing pieces in the New York Times every day. You had Politico in
Starting point is 00:06:59 2024 raking it in, all kinds of money. I think they got somewhere around, what was it, $8.2 million, courtesy of their $10,000 of pop subscriptions that they would give to government employees. I mean, this is what happened. Okay. That's the corruption. You're looking at at the hundreds of millions of dollars, forgive me, billions. We're talking about $55 billion that they've already found that was going to this, that, and the other, whether it's transgender operations in Guatemala or the DEI musical in Ireland or the trans comic book in Peru. I don't get it. I mean, why? What is that all about other than paying off your buddies, but why do they choose to do it with all that? They're trying to influence the world. They're trying to
Starting point is 00:07:47 create some kind of new reason for being. They're trying, if you ask me, to dismantle the system. In fact, when I really start to think about it, I suspect that this is a kind of Marxism that they were trying to employ. It started perhaps with Clinton, was continued and revved up under one Barack Obama. And then, you know, Biden's looking the other way. They had a big field day, total party. And they wanted to somehow shame anybody who didn't fit their narrative.
Starting point is 00:08:17 of what they felt was the oppressed class, right? So you can just substitute, if you would, you can substitute capitalist, capitalist with, well, I would say capitalist with white male, right? Wasn't that what they were actually really and truly doing? And so if you were part of that white male class, you were part of the problem. And that's what's just so scary. So this is all coming out. This is all going to get exposed one thing after another. And you know what else is going to get exposed? Something that these people are really, really afraid of. But Sandra Marshall Blackburn has been all over this story, and I'm talking about the Epstein flight logs. She actually asked Kosh about it in the hearings just the other day. Here's what he had to say.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Will you work with me on this issue so we know who worked with Jeffrey upstain. Absolutely, Senator. I will do everything, if confirmed as FBI director, to make sure the American public knows the full weight of what happened in the past. And he wants to make sure that it never happens again in the future. So Pam Bondi was talking about this today on Fox News. She went on and stressed that accountability is here, and that she has the files. They're sitting on her desk, and it's all coming out. People are freaking out in Washington, D.C. When I say there's shockwaves, I'm not kidding.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Watch this. The DOJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein's clients. Will that really happen? It's sitting on my desk right now to review. That's been a directive by President Trump. I'm reviewing that. I'm reviewing JFK files, MLK files. That's all in the process of being reviewed
Starting point is 00:10:07 because that was done at the directive of the president from all of these agencies. So have you seen anything? You said, oh my gosh. Not yet. Okay. But they're sitting on her desk and she hasn't gone through the files. So watch Outworld.
Starting point is 00:10:24 So we get the Epstein stuff going on. We've got the Adams shift stuff, the Russia, Russia, Russia. We get the NGOs from H.E.L. I want that money back, by the way. I'm just going to say, like that is not okay. They took our taxpayer dollars. They spread it all around for stupid stuff. We deserve it back.
Starting point is 00:10:41 And then there's this one. Sean Combs, we're talking about Diddy, P-Diddy, whatever he goes by these days. His lawyer, hours after Kosh Patel was confirmed as head of the FBI, said that he was leaving the case. He said, quote, under no circumstances, can I continue? What's that about? So now apparently the judge has to take him aside and, like, evaluate this and try and figure it out and whether or not he can even.
Starting point is 00:11:14 It surprises me, I would think that, you know, it's a free country after all. Still, you ought to be able to just leave the case if you figure out that your client maybe is in more trouble than you thought. Or maybe, you know, you just don't like what you're finding out. Maybe he thinks he needs to do the right thing. I have no idea. But he said, quote, again, under no circumstances, can I continue representing one Sean Diddy Combs? and maybe the timing is a coincidence, but I don't think so. I think there's a lot that's about to come out.
Starting point is 00:11:53 We have no clue just how bad this is going to get, but it may be why we see so many celebs leaving the country. I mean, one of them comes to mind. Ellen DeGeneres, she made quite a point of leaving the country, and she pretended that it was all about Trump, right? Ellen DeGeneres and Portia deRosie, we're leaving this Trump dump. That was the headline in TMZ just a few weeks ago.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Well, Ellen says she's leaving because it's Trump, but while a few folks in the media are saying something different, because apparently she had quite a cozy relationship with one P. Diddy, who's in jail and whose lawyer doesn't want to represent him anymore, now that Kosh Patel is head of the FBI. And this headline reads, P. Diddy once invited friend, Ellen DeGeneres, to come to a wild party. P. Diddy's parties have long been known as some of the wildest in showbiz, and the rapper has always tried to get as many famous faces as possible to attend, including Ellen DeGeneres.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Apparently they were so tight that she wished him quite a birthday wish back in 2016. Happy birthday, Ellen writes, P. Diddy, P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs, or as I call him, cuddle, McSnuggle stuff. You don't need to know why. Uh-huh. Yeah, I don't think I want to know why, but I have a feeling that Ellen DeGeneres may know why. Yeah, she knows why, and she's been to those parties. And so is it just a coincidence that she's leaving because it's really just about Trump? I think it might be something else.
Starting point is 00:13:25 She sold her home for $96 million. And by the way, I'm not the only one, okay? This is the California mansion that she and Portia lived in. I'm not the only one who thinks this. Let's go take a listen to Sky News. going what I've been saying. They're losing their mind. She sounded so sincere, didn't she?
Starting point is 00:13:41 Very sincere. Virtually choke on her words. But the best one for me is Ellen DeGeneres, who is, by the way, a very nasty person. I've had dealings with her in Australia. Oh, a bit of nice. Could I tell you some stories about that cow? But anyway, good riddance to her.
Starting point is 00:13:56 But, you know, she was quite friendly with that P. Diddy bloke, wasn't she? Well, this is why I say, release the Diddy File. Yeah. So, you know. Come on, Donald Trump. We want to know whose name. So maybe she's hightailing out of there before all that is thrown at her as well.
Starting point is 00:14:12 But what a bunch of hypocrites. I wonder. What do you think? I mean, I wonder. Coincidence? I don't think so. I mean, all this stuff kind of relates back to the same thing. It also relates back to the establishment being so frustrated and so furious because, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:28 there's kind of like this code of ethics. Funny choice of words, right? Not exactly ethics. But this code, shall we say, that they all lived by, and that's being shattered in real time. I mean, look at who we got. We got Pete Hagsath, my former colleague over at Fox News, run the Defense Department. You got Pam Bondi, who's a total badass.
Starting point is 00:14:50 Like, let me just tell you. She's going in for the jugular. She's going to make sure things are right. You got Kosh, who's, like, spent his career saying, like, this is nuts. Like, all of it is totally, totally, totally nuts. You got RFK Jr. saying, I don't think I trust what these institutions have told us over and over again. It's not the best thing for everybody's health. I mean, look at the preservatives in the junk that they put in our food alone, not even getting into all the other stuff. But that's why the pharma companies are so worked up. There was a system in place, and it's being dismantled in real time. And that scares people.
Starting point is 00:15:28 But I'll tell you what, it's good. We needed it. We certainly did. And this is not going to be a. constitutional crisis because I'm just telling you, you know what? The federal government has a lot of power here. The president has a lot of power here. And he issued an executive order saying, you know what, we're going to make sure that those students in federally funded programs that are in athletics, that they are their actual born sex that are competing. In other words, if you're somebody who is born a boy, but you'll want to compete against the girls in the track race, that not happening. And if your school allows it to happen, then guess what? They're not going to get the federal funding. And this is important, very, very important. And yet you've got states out there, like,
Starting point is 00:16:17 well, the state of Maine that say, we're not going along with this. I want to say this is unbelievable. Okay, so Donald Trump has all these governors into the White House today, and he's proud of this accomplishment. He said the NCAA is on board. Everybody's on board. And then he's like, hey, Maine, Maine, are you on board? Watch what happens next. The NCAA has complied immediately, by the way, that's good. But I understand Maine. Is Maine here, the governor of Maine? Are you not going to comply with it? Well, we are the federal law. Well, you better do it. You better do it because you're not going
Starting point is 00:16:54 to get any federal funding at all if you don't. And by the way, your population, even though it's somewhat liberal, although I did very well there, your population, it doesn't. doesn't want men playing in women's sports. So you better comply because otherwise you're not getting any federal funding. Every state, good, I'll see you in court. I look forward to that. That should be a real easy one.
Starting point is 00:17:15 And enjoy your life after governor, because I don't think you'll be in elected politics. He's right. I mean, honestly. If the Democrats were smart, they would not embrace this issue head on. I mean, it's really and truly not popular. It's like popular is 0.01% of the population, I guess. Nobody else really likes it. Nobody else finds it fair. Nobody else approves. And you know what? He's
Starting point is 00:17:38 right on Maine. I grew up in New Hampshire. Some of you guys, we talked about this because I spent summers in Maine. I was a lucky kid growing up. And I spent my summers in Maine. And so I'm familiar with Maine as well. And listen, Maine is very rural. It's not highly populated. And yes, maybe it has some tendency to go blue, but I'll tell you, it can go red just as easily. And you got an issue like this and Maine is going to go red. They, this governor will be out of a job because Donald Trump is going to cut off the federal funding. So she's like, I'll see you in court. We have our own rules. Well, you know what? He gets to make this one. I'm sorry. You know, and this is important. I actually, I wanted to, I've told you guys before, but I'm really proud that I have partnered
Starting point is 00:18:18 with the Herzog Foundation because I'm so sick of this stuff. In schools, it's disgusting, right? some of the stuff that has come out about what they were trying to preach is just unbelievable. It's sort of just sick, should I say. Yeah, I will say that. It's sort of sick. And so what I'm just thrilled with is this opportunity to be with Herzog, and Herzog, I just think they're an amazing organization because they're encouraging people to look at other alternatives for school, K through 12. In other words, you can get a Christian, education, K through 12, they are there to help you. This is just, it's a nonprofit. It's a foundation that was set up to make sure that people had alternatives to the public school system if you don't
Starting point is 00:19:05 like what they're selling you. And so, while we hope it gets better and it should get better, Herzluck offers a whole sort of ability for you to look at alternatives for your own kids, for your grandkids, for your friends, kids, all that stuff. And so that's pretty cool, right? Like that is pretty darn cool. I was trying to play a soundbite. here, I've got it for you, of J.D. Vance saying something that I found to be incredibly powerful at CPAC. This week, it was just so, so powerful because, you know, it's like they've just tried to, you know what, all over men, all over men. And I look at this, you know, as a woman, as someone who has a son, as someone who has a husband, and I find this so offensive, so offensive. And I don't
Starting point is 00:19:52 understand why more women aren't speaking up for their husbands and their sons and their brothers but here's jd doing the job and doing it well my message to young men is don't allow this broken culture to send you a message that you're a bad person because you're a man because you like to tell a joke because you like to have a beer with your friends or because you're competitive it's our like our message the cultural message and i think the president and mine is the exact opposite. But our cultural message is, I think, that it wants to turn everybody,
Starting point is 00:20:35 whether male or female, into androgynous idiots who think the same, talk the same, and act the same. We actually think God made male and female for a purpose, and we want you guys to thrive as young men and as young women, and we're going to help with our public policy
Starting point is 00:20:53 to make it possible to do that. How is that so revolutionary? Like, how does that make you far right wing? Except that you have a system that was designed probably going all the way back to the 20s. I mean, if you think about it, and if you see the movie Oppenheimer, you may understand what I'm getting at. But there's been an embedded jealousy against the United States and the success of the United States, going all the way back to the 20s and the 30s. And I think there was a movement globally to try and take us down.
Starting point is 00:21:29 And so you think back to sort of the McCarthy era. right? And we've been living in the opposite of that. Now, McCarthy didn't have the right methodology. He didn't do this the right way. The messaging was all wrong. But the point was he was onto something and that he knew people were trying to take down the United States. And they were trying to take down a meritocracy. They were trying to take down capitalism. This Marxism, this communism was really and truly a threat. He understood that. Again, badly executed. Don't misinterpret what I'm saying. Badly executed. But he understood it. And anyway, this thing's been festering along, festering along in Hollywood, for example, in pop culture, and then you had it
Starting point is 00:22:08 start to pick up some steam. I suspect with the Clintons carried forth, put on steroids by Obama, and then the money just kept flowing in because the idea was, well, we're going to stop Trump. We've got to stop Trump. So all this money went into these NGOs to do all these ridiculous things, including influencing public education here in the States and all over the world. And here, we're living in a society today where they want to destroy the United States of America and everything, that makes it great. And we have to pick up the pieces and start again. This is not a constitutional crisis.
Starting point is 00:22:41 The senator from Maine out today, I guess, trying to defend his governor, because she thinks it's somehow a constitutional crisis that Donald Trump, elected by the American people, is saying, I've got an executive order saying, guess what? You know what? The boys cannot race against the girls. in sports. Can't happen. I remember when Biden put an executive order in saying if you were age 12 or
Starting point is 00:23:10 up, your parents couldn't have access to certain health information in all seriousness. And by the way, I had to deal with this. I'm like, well, my 12-year-old doesn't have her own email account. Seriously, dealing with a New York hospital. It is nuts. Okay, so he did that executive order, but Donald Trump can't do that. I don't think so. Here's the senator from Maine. trying to bring it home, defending his governor. What's it going to take for us to wake up, when I say us, I mean this entire body, to wake up to what's going on here?
Starting point is 00:23:43 Is it going to be too late? Is it going to be when the president has accreted all this power? And the Congress is an afterthought? What's it going to take? I mean, the offenses keep piling up. And as I said, leaving it to the courts, number one, is a cop-out, and number two... I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Like, what place? is he living on? It's a cop out to leave it to the courts? Oh, because you don't like what the courts say or said, I get it. You know, there was that Judge Shunkie, who ruled this week, a federal judge put in place by the Democrats, by the way, who said, yeah, you know what, it's totally fine that Elon Musk is going through and doing this audit. It's totally fine that he's getting access to this information. They don't like what the courts are saying. And so they're the ones trying to take this into their own hands. It's actually pretty explicit, I would say. You know, and Stephen Miller, who's the president's public policy advisor, I mean, he was fantastic. He got up there
Starting point is 00:24:44 today and he gave the media, what I would call a civics lesson. Actually, he called it a civics lesson. He's trying to explain to them. You know, this is the way it works, and the president has a certain amount of power. And you guys are just going to have to get over it. But this is epic. He totally destroyed them. I got to show you. It is true that many of the people in this room for four years failed to cover the fact that Joe Biden was mentally incompetent and was not running the country. It is also true that many people in this room who have used this talking point that Elon is not elected fail to understand how government works. So I'm glad for the opportunity for a brief civics lesson. A president is elected by the whole American people.
Starting point is 00:25:26 He's the only official in the entire government that is elected by the entire. nation, right? Judges are appointed, members of Congress are elected at the district or state level, which is one man, and the Constitution, Article 2, has a clause known as a vesting clause, and it says the executive power shall be vested in a president, singular. The whole will of democracy is imbued into the elected president. That president then appoint staff to then impose that democratic will onto the government. The threat to democracy, indeed the existential threat to democracy is the unelected bureaucracy of lifetime tenured civil servants who believe they answer to no one, who believe they can do whatever they want without consequence, who believe
Starting point is 00:26:11 they can set their own agenda no matter what Americans vote for. So Americans vote for radical FBI reform, and FBI agents say they don't want to change, or Americans vote for radical reform and our energy policies, but EPA bureaucrats say they don't want to change. Or Americans vote to end DEI, racist DEI policies. And lawyers in the Department of Justice say they don't want to change. What President Trump is doing is he is removing federal bureaucrats who are defying democracy by failing to implement his lawful orders, which are the will of the whole American people. Thank you, Stephen Miller.
Starting point is 00:26:50 He's super bright, by the way. I always enjoy talking to him. He's been on my show many times over the years, and I'm always certain. He's like one of those people who are like, wow. really, really, really bright guy. And what he's articulating there is that, yes, the president, and, you know, like, look, we don't love EOs, don't get me wrong. I mean, if this were Biden issuing all these EOs, I'd be like,
Starting point is 00:27:11 but the truth is, is that the president does have a certain amount of power and a certain leeway here. And included in that power is the ability to say to these states, by the way, you want Congress? He's got Congress. He's got Congress. He's got Congress. He's got the Senate. He's got everybody, okay? He got the popular vote. and he won the electoral college.
Starting point is 00:27:31 So, you know, you don't like the courts because the courts aren't giving you the right answers either. Senator Angus from Maine, Angus King, listen, he's got everything. I mean, those NGOs must have paid you all so, so well that you were so convinced that you had to do their bidding. But the American people didn't like what you were doing,
Starting point is 00:27:54 and this is the pushback. You know, sometimes the pendulum swings. This is the swing right back into the center so that American people, American families, have a shot at success. Donald Trump also telling these governors, hey, guess what? You better cooperate with ICE or else. The American people expect every city and state to fully honor ICE detainer requests, and we hope they can, and to ensure the safe transfer of criminal aliens into federal custody for immediate removal from our country. You know, many of the countries said, we're not, going to let it back. Under the Biden administration, I remember it's Venezuela. He's a tough guy and
Starting point is 00:28:33 others. They said, we're not letting them back. They're out of here, and you'll never bring them back. They're not coming into this country. And Biden said, well, we can't bring them back. They won't take them. Well, we took them. And every single country now, you saw it with Colombia, you saw it with Venezuela. In fact, they actually offered to send planes to pick them up, and they'll pick them up so that we don't have to go through the expense of sending a plane. Is that correct, Mark? Even Marco couldn't believe that one. But they literally are sending planes to pick up these people.
Starting point is 00:29:04 And they're rough people, and they're picking them up, and they're putting them in the planes. Yeah, because they know what the alternative is. Tariffs, thank you very much. The reason that won't happen in Mexico and Colombia. Colombia is a great example, right? They said, oh, we're not taking these people back. And Donald Trump said, okay, fine, 25% terrorist for you.
Starting point is 00:29:24 literally within three hours. That was like the best. I had sent the story to a friend and he wrote me back. He's like, yeah, give it a few hours. Literally within three hours. Suddenly, Columbia was like, oh yeah, we'll take them. And by the way, not only we will take them, we will send a plane to pick them up. So, you know, you've got to have a strong leader and a leader who actually puts everybody else on notice and that's what's happening. Donald Trump is able to do that. Biden couldn't even come close. I mean, not even close. And I don't know as Obama ever had the desire.
Starting point is 00:30:02 I mean, sure, sure, we should point out that he did actually send a lot of people home, but I think things changed between Obama and Trump. Don't forget Trump campaigned in 2016 on saying he wanted to get the bad guys out, the criminals out of this country. And so the left turned, and they looked at that and said, okay, well, we'll take the opposite point of view. Why don't we bring them all in? Oh, hey, maybe we can even get them to vote. In New York City, they were talking about making 800,000 illegals eligible to vote. You got illegals eligible to vote out in Berkeley, California. So you see where this was going.
Starting point is 00:30:34 There was a method to the madness, if you would, all while hurting everyday Americans who have been struggling with inflation themselves. And now all of a sudden, our taxpayer dollars are going to support hotels with daily maid service? Are you kidding me? $350 a week for whatever food you want because you're going to need some ethnically appropriate food as a refugee? Are you kidding me? By the way, they weren't refugees. They were here illegally, which in this White House's estimation makes them criminals. So it's a whole new game. It's a whole new game. It's It's a whole new game and you would think that most Americans would be on board. You know the voters are on board with this, but then you got a few whack jobs out there,
Starting point is 00:31:27 like that woman out of Texas, Jasmine Crockett, who's trying to campaign and compete for AOC's position is total weirdo. Jasmine going on some show saying that she is actually rooting for the other countries. Not for us. This is a U.S. representative in the Congress, you guys, from Texas. Texas saying she's in favor. Thank you, Steve Frischman. She is in favor of Mexico and Canada. Really been the one to call it out. The fact that I'm rooting for Canada and I'm rooting for Mexico a lot is really wild. But they are really the ones that are speaking truth to power right now. They can see what it is. And they were like, we are not messing with this crazy regime from
Starting point is 00:32:12 Mirralago and basically calling them thugs. That's what it is. But I'm like, y'all knew who he was when y'all elected him. So don't act surprised. Don't act surprised. My gosh. Steve Fischman, who's become a regular here on the program, thank you so much for all your generosity. Much, much appreciated. We are an independent show here, and I like it that way. I like it that way. I was just telling David, who works on the team earlier today, you know, you don't sweat the small stuff here because I don't have anybody that has to look at my scripts. I don't have to deal with any of that hierarchy or middle management insanity. It's just me and you. And I just care so much about making sure that we are as transparent as possible. And we are as fair as possible. And you know,
Starting point is 00:33:05 like I love Donald Trump 99.9% in the time, but in those times when he does something I don't love, you're going to hear that too, because I am above all fair. And that's what I'm I care about. And so I love having you all here. Please make sure you subscribe, share, like, make a comment, all that good stuff. It is wonderful, again, to have so many people that care so much about this stuff like I do. But listen, Jasmine is a member of our U.S. Congress, and she's out there volunteering that she's rooting for Canada. She's not rooting for the American people. I mean, Donald Trump talking about a potential Doge dividend that every American might get $5,000. Here he is on Air Force One, speaking extemporaneously. They're
Starting point is 00:33:44 with reporters. My gosh, we hear from him like four times a day. Big difference from Biden, right? Listen to what he says, and then I want to play for you, what Jasmine is saying in response. And you tell me if this woman is really on the side of the American people. Potentially giving money to Americans based on what Doge is finding. Do you have any thoughts on that? I love it. A 20% dividend, so to speak, for the money that we're saving by going after the waste and fraud and abuse and all the other things that are happening. I think it's a great idea. How much money do you think? Could be a lot.
Starting point is 00:34:18 I mean, if it's 20%, we'd give back a lot of money to the taxpayer. Woo! I mean, wouldn't that be great? They're talking about potentially a $5,000 check for every American. And yet Jasmine Crockett doesn't want it. And she's comparing and contrasting it to COVID, where they were just actually printing money. This is a little bit different, right,
Starting point is 00:34:39 because they're actually saving money. They're finding money in the government, and they're saving it, which is very, very different than just printing money. Now, President Trump says he likes the idea of giving some of the savings from Doge back to Americans as kind of a dividend. Would you support that? Listen, he's just telling a lie. He's not the one that had anything to do with the $1,200 refunds that people had during the midst of COVID that was done by Democratic House and Democratic Senate.
Starting point is 00:35:05 Right now, what they're going to do is say, hey, we want to give you a refund, but Congress won't let us because they already know that there's just no money for that. The only reason that those refunds came before was because we were living in different times. This was a time in which hopefully we won't ever go through again. We had a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic. The bad part is that I don't know if it's once-in-a-lifetime because we know that Ebola, unfortunately, was detected right here in New York here recently. And if we continue down this road of getting rid of scientists or deciding that we don't want to rely on experts as relates to what they're telling us to do,
Starting point is 00:35:45 or we don't want to deal with vaccines and medicine in this country, then we may be facing not only our next pandemic, but our next two, three, or four pandemics because of their incompetence. So no, we are not in the business of giving out money. And honestly, I don't know what $5,000 will do for you. Okay, Marie Antoinette. She doesn't know what $5,000 is going to do
Starting point is 00:36:11 for the average American family? Wow. And she's Democrat? She's just turning down free money? That doesn't sound like the Democrat Party to me. But you see, when it comes from the proper sourcing, which is actually saving Americans money, because you're getting rid of the bureaucracy and that fat, and there's plenty of it, there in Washington, D.C. She doesn't like that. No, she doesn't like it at all. I'm telling you, she's making a run for AOC's spot for the craziest member of Congress. Here she is. on another crazy, crazy show. Also ABC, that was ABC that we just saw. This is the view.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Right now has a 53% approval rating. It's higher than it's ever been. 70% believe that he's fulfilling his promises. And 45% believe Democrats should be more moderate. What do you take away? I think there's a lot to make of those numbers. What's your takeaway from that? My takeaway is just like the election.
Starting point is 00:37:04 We've got to do better at education. People don't understand. But you will understand when those hospitals in rural America start close. and down even more. You will understand when you don't have your Social Security. You will understand when your Medicaid, your Medicare goes away. You will understand as planes continues to fall out of the sky. Soon you will understand why it's important to maybe have somebody that isn't loud and ridiculous and maybe Sleepy Joe is what we wanted because we could at
Starting point is 00:37:32 least sleep in night. Yeah. That's true. Amen. Really, you want to go back to Sleepy Joe? Are you kidding me? I mean, Americans voted for this for a reason. Democrat Party didn't even want Sleepy Joe. For goodness sakes, they transitioned to Kamala Harris. Word Sally Kamala Harris. I'm telling you. Things are happening. Things are changing. And you know what, guys, this is really, really good. I mean, it's fantastic. The Magatrain has left the station. I think there's going to be a lot of opportunity, specifically in the markets. It's something I talk about every day over at 76 research, my financial research company. We just put a new piece out. out on gold, actually, today. You can get all this for just a dollar a month for the first two
Starting point is 00:38:17 months, and it goes to $9.95. Do check it out. 76research.com. Use code word dollar. It's a limited time offer, although I talk about it a lot on the show, just to give you an idea. When you look at our model portfolios, they've been absolutely killing it. And it's in part because, look, I've been a financial reporter in my entire career. Having started, actually, on Wall Street at Goldman Sachs, my colleague, my co-founder, Rob Horton, spent decades running billions of dollars. Like, we kind of together, know how this stuff works. And so it's important right now. It's important that, you know what, there be an opportunity for you, because no, it's not going to come from Uncle Sam. And look, Donald Trump's going to do a lot of good stuff, but ultimately, you know, it comes
Starting point is 00:38:57 back to you and you've got to help provide for yourself and see that forward. As we think about the view that Jasmine Crockett was just on, I want you to know something. It's owned by Disney, because ABC News is the producer of the View, which is a Disney property. And what's fascinating is that apparently everybody's kind of bummed out these days over at the view. I've told you guys about this before. I mean, I do think that the Whoopie may be in the middle of contract negotiations. If you notice, she's not in the new promo for the View.
Starting point is 00:39:29 Wonder why? She's not in the new promo. She's actually been really, really quiet on set. The only one that seems to be really trying to be the Thorne and Donald Trump's side is this sunny house and maybe she's locked into something that we don't know about, but she's all worked up right now about something rather specific, and that is the end of DEI. Diversity, equity, inclusion. It's actually one of the reasons why I started 76 research because I was so sick of seeing all this DEI stuff when it came to markets. A bunch of baloney, I'll tell you, a bunch of baloney. In the real
Starting point is 00:40:03 world, you hire the people that can get the job done. You don't care what color they are. You care if they're by or trans or gay or male or female or black or white or Hispanic or Asian. No, no, no, no, no, no. In the real world, it's like, can you make me money? Can shareholders make money? Think of how irresponsible it was for all of these companies to embrace DEI rather than embracing just the reality of maximizing shareholder value. They were doing it on Wall Street. They were doing it in the government. And maybe they're even doing it on the view. I mean, Sonny seems to think that she wouldn't have a job if it weren't for DEI poor thing. What a race thing to say. Really, think about it. Watch. And I think when that equality starts popping up in terms of diversity program,
Starting point is 00:40:54 equality now feels like oppression to those people who were at the top of the ladder, not necessarily because of their merit, but because of their identity. Right. And so in my view, look at the stats, it is really clear from McKinsey, actually, a consulting firm that Pete used to work for, that firm found that companies with more diversity financially and socially outperform those that are less diverse. So the business case for diversity, equity, and inclusion, it makes sense. And I think we can all agree that we want our workforce to reflect what our world looks. Thanks to news busters for that clip. You hear her? She's saying, oh, you know, people are so worried now because, you know, they didn't deserve those jobs. They were just there because
Starting point is 00:41:47 they were white men, basically. That's what she was getting at. And it's like, but wait a second, Sonny, we had Harvard University getting struck down by the Supreme Court because they were allowing kids into the school that didn't actually qualify to be there at the school, didn't have the test scores, didn't have the grades, didn't have the whatever. And they said, you know, you can't do that anymore because we have this thing called the Constitution. And the Constitution does not allow you to discriminate based on race. And they want to install the discrimination. That's what they want because they think that's their only way to get ahead. I'm sorry. You know, you must think very little of yourself.
Starting point is 00:42:30 You must think very little of people like you, Sunny. But she took it one step further. In this next clip I'm going to show you, she actually tried to equate Elon Musk with some kind of plantation owner from the 1770s, seriously, insisting that, you know, if we go back to this meritocracy, that she and others like her will never have an opportunity again.
Starting point is 00:42:56 I mean, this is six-stop. I think he does too, though, don't you? No, I think he does. But my question, really, I think we need to reframe the discussion. If the problem is these programs, what is the solution? Should we just then depend on the benevolence
Starting point is 00:43:17 of Elon Musk and white billionaires to hire women and people of color? No. Should we just depend on corporations to, on their own, make the workforce more diverse. They didn't do it from 1776 to 1965. Why do we think it's going to be any different?
Starting point is 00:43:37 Why do you think it's going to be different? Maybe because we live in a society where people actually do want to see success. If you're a business owner, you're going to hire the best person for the job. I mean, Sunny, if you get ratings, we'll hire you all day long. But you know what, you don't, honey?
Starting point is 00:43:55 We don't want you. We don't want you. We don't want you. If you suck, you suck. If you're great, you're great. And that's actually all that should matter. That's what's made the United States of America, the country we are. Think about it, guys.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Capitalism, Ameritocracy, this is what has made the rest of the world so damn angry at us. This is what they want to destroy. And they nearly did. For goodness sakes, they nearly did. Thank goodness. Thank goodness Donald Trump was elected. Thank goodness we have people that have some understanding of how the real world works. Thank goodness we have Elon Musk that's exposing the NGOs and the insane amounts of money.
Starting point is 00:44:44 I want every dollar back. I mean, I really do. They squandered it. And it was all anti-how. How else do you think we suddenly had kids all over college campuses all year? year long, standing up for terror organizations. What was that about? The brainwashing that you saw of all these poor kids, because you had stupid programs that were getting all kinds of money from the federal government. Your taxpayer dollars, my taxpayer dollars, go into this junk.
Starting point is 00:45:16 Our taxpayer dollars were actually going to media organizations and they never even told us. And they're like, oh, we're the free press. We're the free press. No, you're not. You're getting paid by USAID. Unbelievable. Greg, thank you for the shout out to your point about can they arrest these governors. Look, I think they're looking at it. They're looking at arresting Leticia James. They're looking at arresting Kathy Hocel. They're looking at, I mean, you look at the woman there in Maine. And these are all things that are on the table because they're impeding the process of the federal government trying to do their job. And the federal government has jurisdiction over things like the border. That's pretty darn clear. And if you have any doubt,
Starting point is 00:46:00 just go back to the supremacy clause in the Constitution, all right? This is something that is decided by the feds. And I'll tell you something else. These people, if they're coming into the country illegally, they haven't actually filed for asylum. They're not qualifying for asylum either because they're coming here for better economic opportunity. You go back to what the asylum laws in the U.S. All right? You have to be suffering from persecution or fear of persecution, and you have to be on protected grounds, race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. So none of these people pouring in actually qualify. Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4, guess what? The feds have the power, Greg. So, you know, you're right.
Starting point is 00:46:42 You might actually start to see them really, really try and push their might around. I mean, it won't be pretty. But why are they doing this? What the heck is up with all of them? Disney getting rid of DEI, so that must not be sitting well with Sunny these days. Certainly not. And it's certainly not sitting well with those ladies on the view who are feeling depressed, demoralized, because they're not able to go after Trump as hard as they would like to go after him. Because I don't know, there's this thing called the organization, the FTC, that's actually looking at how ABC gets its licenses, the FCC, forgive me.
Starting point is 00:47:31 FCC is actually making the decision, okay, are we going to allow ABC to have these licenses in all of these affiliates? And if these affiliate stations don't really like the programming that ABC is providing for them, and if it's actually so dishonest and fake and not real and not news, then maybe we actually shouldn't be providing. that. Maybe we shouldn't allow these affiliates to have the affiliation. And that's what the FCC, because they control the airwaves, actually protects. So I'm sure, after Brendan Carr, who's head of the FCC, sent that letter to Bob Eiger, the CEO of Disney, which owns ABC, I'm sure these
Starting point is 00:48:11 ladies are getting a talking to. I've told you that already. It's now being confirmed there in the New York Post. But we've walked through this. And you know who else has absolutely no use for Disney? Oh, you know. By the way, he got a $16 million check as a result of Disney's dishonest reporting that would be on this week with George Stephanopoulos, who's on his last legs and probably out of a job. Here he is talking today with a reporter. And guess what he does when he finds out she's from ABC? Members of Congress in Red districts are facing pushback from voters in town halls. We know that Americans voted for you on immigration and the economy, but these voters say they're angry and
Starting point is 00:48:52 frustrated by these firings, they don't like the work of Elon Musk, and these other actions. What do you say to them? Who do you work for? I work for ABC News. Who? ABC News. No wonder. Let me just tell you. Let me just tell you.
Starting point is 00:49:07 I have today the highest poll numbers I've ever had. I have today the highest poll numbers of any Republican president ever. We haven't even checked the Democrats, but that's what I was just told. And they like the job that we're doing. and they like the job that Elon's doing. He's doing something that a lot of people wouldn't have the courage to do. We want to streamline our country. We want to streamline, because you know why?
Starting point is 00:49:29 Because we want our country to survive and thrive. And we're finding billions and billions of dollars of waste, fraud, and abuse, billions, and I mean numbers like you wouldn't believe, and we haven't even started yet. So it's actually just the opposite. We've polled it, and people are thrilled. They can't even believe it's happening. And it won't affect many. people. It only affect the people that get caught stealing. The waste, fraud, and abuse is at a level
Starting point is 00:49:57 like nobody's ever seen. It's been going on for years. And all you have to do is look at the Social Security roles. Look at some of the things. Look at where the money is going. The Attorney General is looking into something, environmental protection, $20 billion. And it's out and out fraud. So I think the people are very happy. Yeah, they're happy. You know what? Because nobody wants their money going to ridiculous, ridiculous projects. Nobody wants fraud in the system. They want that change and it's being changed. And so, yeah, his poll numbers are doing great. 70% of the country say he's doing exactly what he promised he'd be doing. And so these people that are not on board, they can fight, they can yell, they can scream. They might actually get in
Starting point is 00:50:45 trouble with the courts in some cases. But the reality is this, like he's won, okay? and the Republicans are going to keep on winning. Because the more the governor of Maine wants to tell us that people who have had years of building testosterone in their system are able to compete against girls who are not able to take drugs to build testosterone in their system. I mean, the last I checked, right? You're not able to do that in sports.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Give me a break. I mean, it's just absolutely shocking that that's the line they're going to take. And you know what? You're not going to win America with that. people are still actually, you know, simple on that front. As much as you've tried to change the world with your NGO, C-R-A-P, I'll tell you, it's not just the news divisions meanwhile at ABC.
Starting point is 00:51:33 ABC is a disaster, right? ABC News we know is a disaster. It's the film division as well. Oh my gosh. So Snow White, they just released their trailer. And I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. They actually had to dismantle the part where the dislikes came in. So you can see the dislikes.
Starting point is 00:51:54 So if you go there, like you only see the likes. Because people like hate it. Absolutely hate it. Here, let's take a look right here. You can see if we look at this. I mean, the comments are hysterical. Wow, Disney, you truly are incredible. It took you three years to make this thing.
Starting point is 00:52:10 And people are saying, I paid nothing to watch this trailer, but I already want my money back. I want my time back. They're saying for people who do not use the extension currently, guess how many dislikes there are. Wow. Wow. They finally did it.
Starting point is 00:52:26 They made a movie that nobody actually really wants to see it all. And they're talking about over a million dislikes, like 96%, I guess, dislikes it? I mean, 85,000 comments right now. This is something else. Here we go. For people who don't use the extension division, currently you have likes at 40,000 dislikes at over a million. And you know, it has a little something to do with the actress. Rachel Zegler playing Snow White, coming out saying she doesn't like Snow White, she doesn't understand, the whole romance
Starting point is 00:52:58 thing is Snow White, because, you know, a woman should go out and build a company and beat you CEO and become president one day. Forget about the Prince. Like, you don't want to hang around for love because, like, love is irrelevant, right? Wrong. Like, love is kind of everything. literally everything. And if you don't have that part of your life, right, you kind of got nothing else. And so for whatever reason, the Rachel Zegler's and these NGOs of the world
Starting point is 00:53:30 and these lefties, I guess, that believe in this Marxism, want to convince you that people don't matter and love does not matter. And certainly the white man doesn't matter. Well, that's not going over so well. I mean, again, let's just go back to business, right? I'm a business reporter. I've covered the economy for years.
Starting point is 00:53:51 I've covered Disney for years. Their stock has gotten creamed. I mean, they're like half the price that they were five years ago because they bought into all this DEI nonsense. And they came out with bomb after bomb after bomb. I mean, not to mention, come on. We're supposed to believe that when Gal Gadot, gorgeous gal Godot says mirror mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all the mirror spits back
Starting point is 00:54:19 Rachel Zegler from New Jersey I don't think so I really don't so this is funny somebody said this is just a tweet I saw it I wanted to share with you on March 21st when this movie comes out we're all going to root for the real hero of snow blight they're calling it the poison apple because after two hours of listening to Rachel Ziegler, wine and wine and wine, the evil queen, she's not the villain. She's a public servant. Sorry, I'm a little bit sick and a little bit under the weather.
Starting point is 00:54:56 You probably hear it right now. But I'm just laughing at this. I mean, just crazy. Again, on YouTube, I could not believe the negativity. People really, really don't like this thing. And I'm telling you, Disney, if they were, smart. They would go back to basics, okay? Let's, let's, you know, American wholesomeness, apple pie, let's think that. Okay, Bob Iger, you get, you get some work to do. I realize that,
Starting point is 00:55:21 you know, your whole team there at Disney, everybody you hired straight out of, God knows where, but whatever college or high school that you're getting in there, they've been fed all this garbage, and so they have a different view of the world, and it's really important. If you want to make money, that you come back to reality. You know, Elon Musk was talking about this a little bit. at CPAC. And he sat down with my friend Rob Schmidt from Newsmax. You guys may see me sometimes on that program. I love Rob.
Starting point is 00:55:47 He and I used to work together at Fox, and he did a terrific interview with him. And he asked Elon a question, which I'm fascinated with. Because I kind of do one thing at a time, I'm kind of tunnel vision, and Elon clearly is doing a lot of things at all times and has like multiple lanes in his brain. And so he asked him what it was like in his brain.
Starting point is 00:56:07 But then the conversation turned to something else. and he really talked about the American spirit in ways that I think Disney would be wise to listen to. Take a listen. Cars, I've always wanted to ask you, what is it like inside your mind? Like, is it just a thousand miles an hour? I mean, are you...
Starting point is 00:56:24 Yeah. Is it just not, I mean, does it ever stop? Do you sleep? How much do you sleep? What's... Paint us a picture of inside of the mind of a genius. Like, how do you do all this? Can you answer that question?
Starting point is 00:56:39 It's not an easy question. I mean, my mind is a storm. Yeah. So, it's a storm. But, I mean, let me maybe tell you something. Like, you didn't ask the question, but I think it's worth and nonetheless, maybe just elaborating on something, which is, you know, I grew up in South Africa
Starting point is 00:57:03 and my morality was informed by America. I read comic books, you know, played Dungeons and Dragons. And I watched American TV shows. And like, it seemed like America cared about being the good guys, you know, about doing the right thing. And that's actually pretty unusual, by the way. It's like, in the world, it's very unusual. Yeah, it's not like actually.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Most countries don't do that. No, they don't. No. And so I was like, yeah, you know, you want to be this good, you want to be on the side of good. You want to care about what's right. And, and, yeah, so that's, that's, uh, yeah, so that's, that's, uh, yeah, what I believe in. You know, so. I gave you, I gave you a tough one at the end.
Starting point is 00:58:04 Yeah. So, yeah. That's great. That's great. Elon Musk. Because we are the good guys. All right? Most definitely the good guys. If it weren't for America, the whole world would be speak in German. Think about that one. We're the good guys and we're going to continue being the
Starting point is 00:58:22 good guys, no matter how much all these other people hate us and try and destroy us from within. Fundamentally, what happens to every American here is they come to the realization that we are good and we need to protect the fact that we are good. from those that are evil and want to destroy us. And that is why we have Donald Trump as president now. We're lucky, right? I mean, we dodged a bullet in more ways than one. For what it's worth.
Starting point is 00:59:05 Elon has absolutely no love loss for Bob Eager, who's the CEO of Disney. He actually can't stand him because Disney was one of the first to pull funding off of X when he bought it. Interesting. Captain America, who clearly doesn't. doesn't believe the line that Elon just gave about America being good. Remember Captain America who said, oh, I don't think Captain America really represents America
Starting point is 00:59:27 because it's about being good, blah, blah, blah. Well, it's not doing so well. Weakest first Wednesday in the U.S. Dismal, $3.4 million. Apparently this is really weak compared to all the other Captain America's. Of course, its debut was also quite weak. And then it said after six days in theater, Brave New World has amassed a total dimension.
Starting point is 00:59:47 gross of 109 million. I don't know what that is adjusted for inflation. It's not as good. While the film's initial performance remains decent, the sharp weekday decline suggests that its long-term trajectory is that. You know why? Because Americans like America, all right? And we believe in America. And when your actor, Anthony Mackey tells us, you know what, Captain America really is and all that. It's not really representative America. I think people have a little of a problem with that. Yeah, just a little. By the way, Balance of Nature, one of the sponsors on our show. I knew this would happen eventually. I usually never, like, I have not gotten a cold. I usually have like three of them every year and I've been taking my balance in nature and I'm so
Starting point is 01:00:34 proud of telling you every single day, but I was clearly tempting fate because all the kids have been sick. And so sure enough, my voice is a little lower than normal today. Balance of Nature.com, though. I'm doubling up. I'm doubling up. I don't think I could have gotten through the show today. without all the vitamins I'm getting from these guys. You can use Code Word Trish, 35% off. If you use Code Word Trish, the phone number that you can call is 1-800, 236. Wait a second. Yeah, I got it.
Starting point is 01:01:03 246. I knew, I knew I was off. 246-8751, 1-800, 246-8-7-8-751. 1-800-246, 8-751. Balance in nature, 35% off, plus free shipping, money-back guarantee. I do actually, I do swear by it. I really do because this has been a very, very good year. I'm usually like three, four times sick with a cold,
Starting point is 01:01:28 so this has been a very, very good year indeed. Donald Trump speaking today about the importance of all that's happening. He really stressed that, you know, so much is going on and we're getting more done than you could ever imagine. Listen in. In four weeks, our new administration has achieved more than most administration. achieve in four years. We brought our country back. It's four weeks. Today is our fourth week. It's the end of the week. We start our, we are now starting our fifth, and I think we've done more in four weeks.
Starting point is 01:02:00 Well, certainly than the last administration did in four years. They actually went negative. They actually went in the wrong direction. Together we're going to be fighting long and hard for black Americans and all Americans. We're going to be fighting for all Americans. We've secured our border and we're stopping the invasion of our country. You know, our border right now is more secure than it's ever been. And we had the record. Four years ago, we had the record. We had the lowest number in history, and now the numbers, Tim, are even lower than they were then. And we're honored. They were allowing people to come in from all over the world from prisons and jails, mental institutions, insane asylums, gang members. They had drug dealers. They had everybody dropping in. And we had this ridiculous open border policy.
Starting point is 01:02:47 They drop in. And I'll tell you, the people that were affected the most were black people. You were affected the most in terms of the crime, in terms of the drugs and everything else. And we have the border shut down. We allow people to come in. We want people to come in, Tim, but we
Starting point is 01:03:03 want them to come in legally. They're going to come through legally. Yeah. Makes sense, right? And by the way, he's getting everything he wants. He's gotten Tulsi in there. He's gotten Kosh in there. He got Pete in there.
Starting point is 01:03:18 He got RFK Jr. in there. You name it. He's got it, right? But all of a sudden, everybody's really, really worried right now about whether or not he's getting an extension on the tax cuts. Remember the tax cuts of 2017? They were a big part of the success in this economy, for sure. But it's not a given that they get renewed.
Starting point is 01:03:37 And I can't even believe I'm sort of saying this, but no, it's not a given that they get renewed. It's important that they get renewed. But it's not a given. Joining me right now, Brent Gardner, he is Chief Government Affairs Officer over at Americans for Prosperity. And Brent, it's good to have you here today. I'm sort of surprised that we're talking about this. Honestly, you know, and the viewers just heard me saying how these tax cuts may not go through. It's like everything that Donald Trump wants seems to be happening, right? He got Kosh Patel through, he got Tulsi through, he got RFK Jr. through, he got Pete through.
Starting point is 01:04:12 Are you trying to tell me that we may not get the tax cut extensions, which by the way, were the key to a lot of the economic success we saw on the first Trump administration? I mean, what's going on there in Washington? Yeah, I'm not telling you they won't go through, but what I'm telling you is there's cause for concern. Look, this is one of the most successful parts of the president's first term. And make no mistake about it, if nothing is done at the end of this year, working families could face $2,500 tax hikes in a state like Georgia, $22,000 in a state like Michigan. This is weeks and weeks' worth of groceries for people at a time where Bidenomics has already stressed the American finances to their limit.
Starting point is 01:04:53 And frankly, because the president's been so successful, it's underreported that there's a really tortured path for this to get done by the end of the year. Why is that? I mean, it kind of feels like he's, I mean, look, he's got the house, he's got the Senate. he's kind of got the wind at his back here. He's got America. I mean, you look at the approval ratings, 70% of Americans saying he's doing what we thought he would do. He's following through on promises. If he can't get the tax cut extension, what the heck is going on there in Congress? Yeah, I think Congress is the challenge. There's extremely close margins. And there's a lot of different interests, different approaches, different processes that the chambers are following.
Starting point is 01:05:31 So it's going to be really critically important for all members of Congress to come together and a way to move these things forward. That's the challenge. Where's Mike Johnson on it? Well, Mike Johnson, I think, is leading a really tough effort. In fact, on Monday, Mike Johnson's joining us here at AFP to have a conversation talking about budget reconciliation, talking about the tax pass package, and connecting it to conservative principles and what it's going to take to get this done. So for your listeners who want to tune in on that, congressionalconversation.com is a good. great place for them to be able to tune in. And we're going to have a great opportunity to
Starting point is 01:06:09 broadcast not only to your listeners, but to Americans across the country, to our millions of activists, a great conversation with the speaker talking about just this topic. I just, again, I am sort of floored. I heard about this early on, actually shortly after he was elected and people were like sort of raising the alarm bell saying, hang on, you know, it's all great. But there's a chance that these tax cuts may not be extended. I'm like, come on. Like, it seems to me that he has the equity right now within the Republican Party to be able to push it.
Starting point is 01:06:45 And yet, what's frustrating is how myopic, I guess, and how individually oriented, let's face it, right, all of these different members of Congress are. And I think that's where the breakdown is. How do you get over that hump? Is it pressure? Is it, okay, well, we'll give this one. on what they want and this one. It seems like if you keep giving out everybody, you know, what they want, then we get right back to the problem that Doge is trying to correct for.
Starting point is 01:07:14 No, that's absolutely correct. And this is why AFP in January launched a $20 million effort to try and support the president's agenda. It's the largest investment by an outside group in any issue on the president's second term so far. The effort is to try and help ensure that the incentives are right for members of Congress to focus on a pro-growth tax bill that gives us an opportunity to be able to continue on the economic success out of Trump's first term. But it's going to require folks in Congress to be able to work together and ensure that they get a bill that they can pass and ultimately focus on getting it done as soon as possible. American businesses are going to be looking to whether or not they think that this will be a success or a failure as they make investment
Starting point is 01:07:52 decisions over the next year. We don't have to walk. So walk me through. I mean, you gave me some indication. I mean, you know, you get weeks and weeks of grocery bills that's going to cost you out there in the Midwest if this thing doesn't pass. What is this? the expected economic drain on the economy. Have you guys looked at those calculations to see what it would mean for GDP? Let's face it. And this is something that doesn't get talked a lot about, Brent. You had the highest tax receipts prior to March 2020 and everything that went down.
Starting point is 01:08:22 The highest tax receipts we'd ever had adjusted for inflation. And I say a lot of this goes back to the fact that he finally like unleashed these animal spirits in the economy because you had lower taxes, less regulation. and that was just a magical combination. And if we can't get back to that, then it seems like we're really kind of shooting ourselves in the foot, so to speak, here. I mean, how do you get the economy and this engine going if you're just going to become more onerous and penalty-driven vis-a-vis taxation?
Starting point is 01:08:53 What would be the hit to the economy? Yeah, I mean, you have to remember, before we even get to that hit to the economy, today Americans have to spend between $13,000 and $14,000 more than they did before Joe Biden just to afford the same lifestyle that they did. The American dollar lost 25% of its value. So the question of GDP and growth is secondary almost to the impact that would be had for people who are already hurting. But no question. It's enormous. When you look at where we are from a tax competitive standpoint, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act put us in a position to be able to compete with countries like China, gave American companies an opportunity to not only grow themselves,
Starting point is 01:09:29 but to seek the kind of investment necessary to continue to grow the economy. And to your point, we saw that in the gross tax receipts. So it's incredibly important that we get this done. That's why AFP is so focused on this. And we're trying to make sure that we do what's necessary to engage the grassroots that cared about this during the election to get it done. What's the timetable? Like when, you know, when's the sort of 11th hour?
Starting point is 01:09:53 I think we're kind of in the 11th hour. But tell me when push comes to shove on this. Yeah, the 11th hour is. the end of the year. But to your point, I think everyone came into this looking at the election saying, this is going to happen. And I think the question about whether or not it can is actually enough to actually upset and hurt the American economy. We want to unleash those animal spirits. We want to give an opportunity for American entrepreneurs to grow. And I think sending a strong signal early in the term with true pro-growth tax policies, that's the best way to do it. So let's not walk up to the cliff.
Starting point is 01:10:26 would be afraid to go over it. Let's take care of it now. Give ourselves an opportunity to start that growth soon. Here, here. Okay. Amen. So protectp prosperity.com. People can go over there.
Starting point is 01:10:38 They should, you know, if you want to, if you want to join the bandwagon and put a little pressure on those congresspeople of yours, I encourage you to do so. And AFP will help direct you, protect prosperity.com. And of course, remind me the conversation with Mike is happening. Forgive me, Speaker Johnson is happening. You said on Monday at. Monday at noon. and you can join Congressional Conversation.com.
Starting point is 01:10:58 Okay, awesome. We'll be on the lookout for it. Thank you so much, Brent Gardner. Thanks, Tresh. Yeah, it's like sort of amazing, right? It's amazing that we even have to worry about that. But I think there still are some rhinos out there. So it's going to take some convincing.
Starting point is 01:11:12 But look, this is what the American people want. Like, it's really, really clear. We want change. And I'm just looking at some of your comments here and your generosity. Thank you so much for that Grandpa Barney. That Jasmine thing got to you. didn't it? Jasmine Crockett, he's writing, give her a one-way ticket to any of those countries. Hey, Mexico, Canada, any of those countries, she loves more than the U.S., and we can always wave
Starting point is 01:11:34 bye-bye, give her a one-way ticket, a one-way ticket and we'll say goodbye. I don't get it. Like, why do they hate the nation that has afforded them so much prosperity? I really don't get it. Real Truth writing that Real Truth just got through listening to Trump and Miami. me and it was just great speaking. He's always, always, always great speaking. That is for sure. And of course, Steve, good to have you back here. And Greg as well. Thank you for all your comments. And I do think, I do think, Greg, that it's going to get sticky because I think you probably could look at some legal ramifications for some of these people in some of these states that are not willing to live by federal law. I mean, the law is the law. And if you're impeding it, I mean, Tom
Starting point is 01:12:25 And Tom Homin was very, very clear about this. You get Ilhan Omar, for example. Did you see her? I played this for you guys the other day. She's out there giving a seminar, not even a webinar. She was doing this in person trying to advise people in their language on how they could avoid the feds. And I'm like, this doesn't seem right, right? I mean, she has a member of Congress. And she's trying to tell them how to avoid the federal authorities. that's sort of messed up. And I suspect that Tom Homan will have every ability to work with Pam Bondi to go after somebody like that. AOC is in the exact same predicament for sure. And so, you know, look, this stuff is pretty simple.
Starting point is 01:13:10 And I keep going back to poor Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas, who couldn't get to first base. And he's like, why are you tearing down the wall? We need the wall. Why tear it down? And they're like, Biden's like, I'm the federal government. I want these people coming in. I don't care what you say. I mean, Abbott, unfortunately, there did not have the jurisdiction because you see the feds control the borders. That's how it is. So if you're New York or if you're
Starting point is 01:13:36 California and you're going to get in the way of this, then you're going to have a problem. As you should, right, as you absolutely positively should. It's not acceptable what they're doing. truly not this is Ilhan right given the instructions for people make sure that they avoid the feds at uh...
Starting point is 01:13:57 uh... mhala of he sheikh and information that I'd have been in it all right I'll admit I didn't understand it but we had some subtitles there so she's out there doing that
Starting point is 01:14:12 by the way now you get people in Congress saying we should export her for this if this is how strongly she feels, the world would be a better place without Ilhan Omar trying to tell people this.
Starting point is 01:14:27 And that would be one, Brandon Gill. I just want to show you a quick clip. Here he is on CNN speaking about the issue. I just want to follow up with this post that you had on X. You said that Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, a U.S. citizen, should be deported to her home country of Somalia. Omar became a naturalized citizen at 17. Why did you do that?
Starting point is 01:14:47 Listen, my colleague Ilhan Omar, she is an American citizen. She is a member of the House of Representatives. I didn't call for her to be deported, but I did say that America would be better off, were she deported? I think that there is a serious problem particularly given after the past four years of open borders, of Democrats facilitating the invasion of our country by illegal aliens. My colleague Ilhan Omar was advising illegal aliens. Somalis on how to evade ice detection. That is as un-American as you can possibly get. It's
Starting point is 01:15:24 unbecoming of a congressperson. What evidence? Where are you getting that from specifically? Where are you getting that from specifically? We have the audio of her doing that. But do you say she is a duly, she is a duly elected member of Congress. She has a duty to uphold the customs of America. Not to represent foreign illegal aliens. who shouldn't be here to begin with. And I think that that raises serious questions. She is helping people understand what the laws are. But listen.
Starting point is 01:15:56 To whom is she most loyal? Illegal aliens, Somalis are American citizens. She's representing her constituents as a member of Congress. Congressman Brandon Gill, I really appreciate your time. I appreciate this conversation. I think it's really important. Oh, yeah. And by the way, that woman's an idiot.
Starting point is 01:16:13 She's representing her constituents. her constituents who can't vote, her constituents who aren't American, her constituents who don't have citizenship. I mean, really? And she's telling them how to avoid ICE and the feds. I mean, this is going to become a problem. I mean, I don't think it's a constitutional crisis. I think the law is very, very clear on this, okay? So these lefties are going to have to get in line soon. I think our patience is very thin for this sort of nonsense. It's good to have you guys here. Quick reminder. Go over to 76 research. For goodness sakes, it's the weekend. Do yourself this favor. This is my gift to you. Get it for a dollar a month. And you know what? If you don't like it,
Starting point is 01:17:01 we'll refund your dollar, okay? But I promise you you will. It's really, really important. Joe Bernal, thank you for your generosity. I'm just looking here. You're saying, is it possible? that if Congress doesn't pass these tax cuts that President Trump signed an executive order on to extend the tax cuts, I think that's an interesting question. And not to sound too much like peppermint patty, but I may have to circle back on that one. I mean, because, again, a lot of this comes down to where the law is. And I think that Stephen Miller has made certain things really clear. But when it comes to taxation, that's something that generally is in the field or the sphere.
Starting point is 01:17:42 of Congress, if you would, Joe. So Congress may ultimately be the ones to make that final decision, but I'll tell you, they're going to hurt themselves if they don't get this. I think he's got the wind at his back. He's got everything he wants. He's got all the people he wants. They know what happens if you fall out of line here. And you know what? This is important. Let me just say, like, this is really, really important. We had to get rid of the rhinos because the rhinos were part of the system that were causing so much stress that disabled him from really actually, because being able to see all the success he could have seen back in 2016. I mean, look, he did great.
Starting point is 01:18:17 Prior to 2020, we had the most growth in median incomes that we had seen since the 1950s. You've got to go all the way back to JFK to get anything like that. And that's adjusted for inflation. So you had a really booming middle class. You had low inflation. You had job growth. You had economic growth, prosperity. People were making more money.
Starting point is 01:18:38 And our economy was going crazy. We were booming. And then what happened? You had March 2020 come along. One of the things that bothers me about this Jasmine, Chica, is that she's out there saying over and over again, we may get another one, we may get another one. Is that what they want?
Starting point is 01:18:52 Is that what the left is wishing for? I certainly hope not, but I'm a realist. Go check 76research.com. Use code word dollar. Use code word dollar deal. L-L-L-A-R. Sign up, get the report. There's a great piece on gold today.
Starting point is 01:19:07 A great piece on gold because, gosh, gold's like $3,000 an ounce. Of course, we told you to buy it back in April. We tell you to do a lot of things there, so you should pay attention. Anyway, wonderful to see you all. Please make sure you subscribe if you haven't and I'll see you back here on the show. Live on Monday plus lots of videos coming your way over the weekend.
