Starting point is 00:00:02 ABC News is in a lot of trouble right now. I mean, like, if you thought they were in trouble before, I get news for you. ABC is in even more trouble, and we're going to talk all about what the FCC is looking into at this moment in time. Welcome to the program, everyone. Great to have you here. You may have seen this dust up that happened yesterday while Donald Trump was hosting a dignitary. It did not go over well. And for this reason, he is now asking Brandon Carr to look into ABC's affiliate relationships.
Starting point is 00:00:32 and question whether or not they can keep those affiliate relationships. So this is about to get dicey. Meanwhile, we're talking dicey. Jeffries, he has to respond to accusations that he and his team seem to be working to have some kind of dinner, some kind of relationship with Epstein after everybody knew who he was and what he did. And yet some consulting firm is going in there trying to get Epstein on board for Jeffries. I mean, this is not a good look for Hakeem or other Democrats, for that matter, including Plaskett. He was asked about her a lot. They were about to center her last night, but there was some last-minute deal, I hear, designed to help save Corey Mills from also getting centered, and so they didn't go through with it, but this woman's
Starting point is 00:01:15 not out of the woods yet, we'll explain, and you want to know who's not out of the woods? Didn't Eric Trump tell us yesterday on the show? Who are they going to focus on Bill Clinton, Bill Clinton? And indeed, Comer is now threatening possible jail for both the Clintons, because they are refusing, they are refusing their subpoenas. Well, what happened when Bannon did that? What happened when Peter Navarro did that? You know, the answer they went to jail. That's what happens, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the show. I'm Trish Rigan. Make sure you subscribe, share, like, all that good stuff. We begin today on ABC News, possibly losing its ability to have all those affiliates all over the country. You see, when Donald Trump said,
Starting point is 00:01:51 I want the FCC to look at taking away your license, he meant the broadcast license that is afforded to all these different affiliates all over the country so that they can then run ABC programming. Well, if those licenses are taken away, then ABC doesn't have any distribution channel for all of its programming. Oh, I don't know. It might actually have to come over here to YouTube or to Spotify, which, by the way, my video is on Spotify as well now. So please make sure you subscribe over there. We got to go through it though, because I said to you yesterday, it wasn't that her questions were inherently bad. And in fact, they're kind of real questions, right? Like, we still have unanswered, you know, things out there about Khashoggi. We still have questions about,
Starting point is 00:02:35 okay, you know, Donald Trump is running or did run a very successful business. And that business is not going to stop just because he's in the Oval Office. I mean, very different, very, very different than Hunter Biden suddenly getting a gig on the Ukrainian barismo board to the tune of $600,000. Very, very different. In other words, that was a pre-Broner. pre-existing business and you can't shut down your entire business just because you become president. So these were two of the questions that she had, but listen to the way she asked them, okay? And you tell me if it's really and truly appropriate. I mean, you get MBS back in the country for the first time.
Starting point is 00:03:08 They're doing like a trillion dollars worth of deals, or, you know, billions at least. And this is what happens. Watch. I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and it's so wrong. And we have a great commissioner, the chairman, who should look at that because I think when you come in and when you're 97% negative to Trump and then Trump wins the election in a landslide, that means obviously your news is not credible. And you're not credible as a reporter. So I've answered your question. You should go and look at the Democrats who receive money from Epstein. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Okay. So that's sort of the crux of his argument here. you guys are effectively fake news, and he can go back to sort of the FCC's original mandate, which is to help protect communities. And one could say, well, communities are not really protected when you have a network that is so bias in its coverage, 97% of the time giving negative coverage to one candidate positive coverage. It was like 99% positive, if you recall to Biden and to one Kamala Harris. And so that's sort of the sticking point.
Starting point is 00:04:17 And he's right to bring that up. I mean, it is a real issue. I want to show you the whole clip, though. I want to go back to her question. because they were, well, as he might say, nasty. It's inappropriate, Mr. President, for your family to be doing business in Saudi Arabia while your president, is that a conflict of interest? And, your royal highness, the U.S. intelligence concluded that you orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist.
Starting point is 00:04:42 9-11 families are furious that you are here in the overall office. Who are you? Who are you? And the same to you, Mr. President. Now, who are you with? I'm with ABC News, sir. You're with who? ABC News, fake news.
Starting point is 00:04:53 One of the worst in the business, but I'll answer you a question. I have nothing to do with a family business. I have left, and when I've devoted 100% of my energy, what my family does is fine. They do business all over. They've done very little with Saudi Arabia, actually. I'm sure they could do a lot. And anything they've done has been very good. That's what we've done.
Starting point is 00:05:13 We've built a tremendous business for a long time. I've been very successful. I decided to leave that success behind and make America very successful. and I've made America more successful by far than it ever was, and that it ever could have been no matter who was president. There would be nobody bringing in $21 trillion that I can tell you right now. Yeah, well, that's fair. Okay, so he's a little annoyed because he's got a guest.
Starting point is 00:05:39 They were throwing a big dinner for him last night. Don't forget, I mean, hey, Elon is back in the fold. That was pretty interesting to see. And so, you know, he gave him like a fist bump sort of thing. Overall, you know, things are going well, we're bringing money in. He wants to have a good relationship with a long time ally. Yeah, there's some kind of sticking points out there, but time and place, time in place, maybe this wasn't the most appropriate venue. I'm just going to go on a limb and say to be throwing those questions out there and in the tone of voice.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Sometimes it's not what you say, but how you say it, you know that. So that became kind of ugly, really fast, really fast, because watch how he started to actually even personally attack, You almost wonder if it was a distraction tool because he was so worried about his guest when you see his guest, MBS, and getting confronted by this ABC News reporter. He's so concerned about him that he flips it on its head and really punches back in a pretty severe way. Take a look. Mr. President, why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now? It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you are a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions.
Starting point is 00:06:53 You start off with a man who's highly respected, asking him a horrible insubordinate and just a terrible question. And you could even ask that same exact question nicely. You're all psyched. Somebody sikes you over at ABC. You're going to psych. You're a terrible person and a terrible reporter. As far as the Epstein files is,
Starting point is 00:07:19 I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. and I threw him out of my club many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert. But I guess it turned out to be right. You know who does have Bill Clinton? Larry Summers, who ran Harvard, was with him every single night, every single weekend.
Starting point is 00:07:36 They lived together. They went to his island many times. I never did. Andrew Weissman are here. All these guys were friends of his. You don't even talk about those people. You just keep going on the Epstein files. And what the Epstein is is a Democrat hoax to try and get me not to be able to talk about the $21 trillion that I talked about today.
Starting point is 00:07:59 It's a hoax. Now, I just got a little report, and I put it in my pocket, of all the money that he's given to Democrats. He gave me none, zero, no money to me, but he gave money to Democrats. And people are wise to your hoax. And ABC's is your company, your crappy company, is one of the purpose. And I'll tell you something, I'll tell you something. I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and it's so wrong. And we have a great commissioner, the chairman, who should look at that because I think when you come in and when you're 97% negative to Trump
Starting point is 00:08:41 and then Trump wins the election in a landslide, that means obviously your news is not credible. And you're not credible as a reporter. So I've answered you question. You should go and look at the Democrats who received money from Epstein, who spent their time. Larry Summers was with him all the time. That creep of the fund guy was with him all the time. What's his name? Reid Hoffman. I don't know Reed Hoffman, but I know he spends a lot of money on the radical left.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Reed Hoffman, in my opinion, should be under investigation. He's a sleaze bag. And those are the people, but they don't. get any press, they don't get any news, and you're not after the radical left, because you're a radical left network. But I think the way you ask a question with the anger and the meanness is terrible. You ought to go back and learn how to be a reporter. No more questions from you. Who else has a question? In other words, he's like, have some decorum lady. You're in the White House. The way you're asking these questions, and I'm seeing in some of your comments,
Starting point is 00:09:46 like you guys agree, right? Like the questions inherently aren't bad. It's just the way they're being asked, the time and place in which they're being asked, it's very awkward. And while, you know, I'm a big believer, you ask any question you want to ask, and you should be asking these questions, you just tone matters. Grace, like have some grace, right? Like, she didn't have any of that. You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. And she clearly doesn't get that. He was clearly upset, obviously really, really upset. I mean, I don't know is there's a very nice way to ask those questions, but they're real questions. And you can do it in a better tone of voice and maybe with, you know, butter them up first.
Starting point is 00:10:31 I mean, there's a lot of ways to do it, right? Like, you know, as a journalist, you kind of learn, and I've learned, you get more flies with honey. And you actually get more news. You actually get more news. When you are just abrasive and combative, you immediately put people on defense. So you get less out of them. So she could have done this differently. She should have done it differently. But I think in that
Starting point is 00:10:53 moment, he was like, I got to, I got to change the story here. I got to change it. So I'm going after, we're going to get Brennan Carr out there after you. Well, he's already get Brennan Carr out there after him. Don't forget, Brennan Carr's the one that sent the letter to Bob Eager, who owns Disney, owns, runs Disney. Maybe he shouldn't be running it. He shouldn't be CEO anymore because clearly he's running Disney into the ground. Anyway, Bob Eiger got a nasty letter from the head of the FCC won Brennan Carr, even before Donald Trump came into. office and he's gotten a few letters since. And they're doing an investigation into ABC, which is why whoopies running so scared these days and why her producers keep sending her notes. I'm not going to
Starting point is 00:11:28 show you the clip, but we've seen it, right? And she got so mad. She's like, tore that thing up. And she's like, can't anybody take a joke? Well, you know, after a while, you tell too many jokes as, quote, information and your jokes and your information get a little convoluted. And people are like, no. And there is this little obligation that you guys have over at the FCC to basically not, not sort of falsify stuff. Here it is. You can't distort the news and sometimes these guys really feel like they're distorting the news and that's what he's going to go back at. So there's a few things. You get the community rule act, which is like 1930 something. And then you get this one from 1949 and news distortion. They say most involved a significant event and not merely a minor or
Starting point is 00:12:12 incidental aspect of the news report. Don't forget he went after CBS, right? Because they seem to vastly alter that one interview with one Kamala Harris. In other words, you've got a media apparatus, institution, right? All of these old networks that have their own particular biases and they're putting them out there all day long and there's nothing to negate it other than a few of us over here. Thank you for subscribing. Make sure you do share, like, all of that. It's really, really important. But, you know, there's just, you know, a few of us kind of trying to do the right thing and cutting through some of the noise, but the majority of the institutions are not doing that. And he's on to them, and he's going to do something about that.
Starting point is 00:12:53 So I would just say, you know what? ABC, beware. I think you already are aware, but you might want to be extra, extra cautious in this environment. Again, not bad questions, but was it appropriate to ask them there in that tone of voice? Hakeem Jeffries, oh my gosh, you heard the president say, the majority of money, was going to Democrats that Epstein was donating? Well, according to new records, apparently between 1990 and 2018, Jeffrey Epstein directed 89% roughly of his political donations to Democrat and progressive causes
Starting point is 00:13:31 with notable individual recipients, including Hill, Hillary, and Bill, Hillary, and Bill, I almost said Hill, Clinton, okay? It's like their new nickname. and Chuck Schumer, Chuckie, baby, Chuckie, I mean, I'm kind of wondering why you didn't push a little harder to get all of these things revealed back when you could have, right? Instead, you're out there on TV saying, why is Trump taking so long? Why, why, why, why, why? I mean, I would just say you had four years, did you not?
Starting point is 00:14:06 And you chose not to, but why would you? I mean, heck, you had the Democrat representative from the Virgin Islands still texting with the guy. hoping to take Trump down somehow. Well, Chuckie, like, it's all catching up to you. I will say that. And I think that you're eventually going to pay a serious political price. We put this in the shorts feed. I want you to see this because it's kind of funny.
Starting point is 00:14:28 They're like, why didn't you do it? And he completely ignores the question. Totally. Chuckie, this is kind of the point. You guys had the documents for four years. Why wouldn't they have been released the last four years when President Biden was in office? Well, that's the question every American is asking. Not every American.
Starting point is 00:14:45 but so many Americans are asking, what the hell is he hiding? Why doesn't he want them released? When you don't want something like that's released, when even a whole lot of Republicans are calling for the release, his own party members, people ask the question. What's he hiding? Of course, you guys could have released him. And actually, he just called for their release.
Starting point is 00:15:03 But I don't know, Jackie. This Epstein stuff seems to be driving you a little, Ku-ku, exactly because he was getting money from Epstein. This is what's coming out. At least according to this new report. report. We'll see how it all shakes out, all right? We don't need to incriminate him just yet. But heck, you know, we're learning that not only was Chuckie allegedly getting money, but Hakeem was trying to get some of where that was coming from too, right? Comer going after
Starting point is 00:15:32 him hard and Hakeem paying the price today on of all places CNN, CNN totally taking him down. one for his own issues and two for not speaking up against representative Stacey Plaskett from the Virgin Islands. Who was texting? Texting with Jeffrey Epstein trying to collude with him to take Donald Trump down during the impeachment hearings. I mean, it's wild, wild stuff. But in case you're not familiar with this, I want you to know. Comer's on this. He's been looking through some of the emails.
Starting point is 00:16:08 And the emails suggest Hakeem wanted to do business. with somebody or at least his consulting firm did, right? Take a peek. Colleagues coordination with Epstein. Another email shows Democrat fundraisers invited Epstein to an event or to meet privately with Hakeem Jeffries as part of their 2013 effort to win a majority. So Hakeem Jeffries campaign solicited money from Jeffrey Epstein. That's what we found in the last document batch. The files underscore why former President Trump must have. appeared for his deposition. We've subpoenaed him to date. The Democrats have done nothing to help us secure his appearance. I support full transparency. The Oversight Committee will continue to work
Starting point is 00:16:53 to get the truth to the American people and to get justice for the victims. That's our goal of this investigation. With that, I yield back. The gentleman yields back. Yeah, Mr. Speaker, we reserve. The gentleman reserves. The gentleman from Maryland has recognized. I mean, oh, yeah, is Jamie Raskin, for goodness sake. That's like Plaskett's buddy, right? Look, this is not good for Hakeem. And Hakeem is now out there trying to go on defense,
Starting point is 00:17:22 but he doesn't have much of a defense. Watch. Do you think it was appropriate for her to be texting with Jeffrey Epstein 11 years after he pleaded guilty? I mean, I have not had a conversation with Stacey Plaskett to discuss this issue because we've been focused today on making sure that there was a decisive vote
Starting point is 00:17:39 as it related to the Epstein file. in the release. I'm thankful for the work of Representative Massey, of Rokane, but most importantly, the survivors. Do you plan to talk to her about it? I think that we successfully defeated a resolution. Oh my God, this is just gross, right? He's not answering the question. He's not answering the question. He's not answering the question. But watch. She just, you know, she, I would have been way harder on him, just saying, I have very little tolerance for this kind of stuff. That lacked any basis was uncredible, was not credible. and was being brought by an individual who was trying to weaponize this issue
Starting point is 00:18:17 to reinvigorate his own failed gubernatorial campaign in South Carolina. It was rejected on a bipartisan basis on the floor today. That's the end of the story. I was just asking if you personally believe messaging with Jeffrey Epstein, who was at that point a registered sex offender is appropriate for a member of the House Democratic Caucus. That's third time if you asked me this question, and I'm going to give you the same exact answer. Our focus today is on making sure that the Jeffrey Epstein files were released. If you want to have a conversation with Stacey Plaskett about it, I'm sure she'd be willing to talk to you.
Starting point is 00:18:54 It was an illegitimate effort to try to remove her from the House Committee on Intelligence, and that was defeated in a bipartisan way. Well, let me ask you about you because the White House has been highlighting an email that I'm sure you've seen today that Jeffrey Epstein got in 2013. They say it shows you were soliciting money and dinner from an Epstein. The email was not sent from you. It was sent from a political consulting firm called Dynamic SRG that says, we are thrilled to announce we are working with Congressman Hakeem Jeffries.
Starting point is 00:19:23 Shoot us an email or give us a call if you would like to get involved. What's your response? Do you recall that email being sent to Jeffrey Epstein from that team? Of course, I have no recollection of the email. I've never had a conversation with him, never met him, know nothing about him other than the extreme things that he's been convicted of doing. And that's why, you know, I'm just strongly supportive of the effort, backing the survivors to make sure that everything can come out.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Yeah, right. Department of Justice files. Yeah, right. You never got a donation. You never cared about anything for goodness sakes. I mean, this stuff does not happen in a vacuum people. You know what happens? You get into a meeting, okay?
Starting point is 00:20:04 You're the politician. You get into a meeting with your consultants and your staff. and they say, hey, we're going to approach so and so and so and so and so and so and so and they run down the list. And you say, yay or nay. And he's sitting there like, oh, I'm totally innocent because it was just the consultant trying to set up a dinner. We had, you know, I had nothing to do with that. I don't know, we're going to go through a whole lot more emails, right? Hakeem, we're going to find out.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Again, if I look at this report that's coming to us out of, this is actually right angle news network reporting this, breaking, they say newly released, campaign record show that from 1990 to 2018, Jeffrey Epstein directed about 89% of his political donations to Democrat and progressive causes, and they include individual recipients like Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, and Chuck Schumer. I have not personally confirmed that, so we will put a pin in that, at least until tomorrow, because, but it wouldn't surprise me. Like, it wouldn't surprise me. He tried to give 80,000, forgive me 30,000 to that woman out of the Virgin Islands who was on the intelligence committee. Okay, are we adding things up here? You've heard my own sort of viewpoint on it that this guy was a super spy and that he was here and working and we
Starting point is 00:21:20 knew all about it. And unfortunately, that's probably the cold, hard truth. And there are a lot of other countries that knew about it. And there's a lot of stuff that's going to come out. Not all of it. We're not going to get all of it because the FBI was there like raiding the place. And then they sat on the files. Remember, Pam Bondi couldn't get those. The truckload of files that she finally got and then there was sort of nothing there. I'm going to just tell you what I think. I think that he was a super spy. I think that Maxwell kind of was running the whole shebang. She found a guy with obviously pretty bad tendencies, but was a charmer, total charmer. I never met him. But I never met him. But I'm
Starting point is 00:22:01 know people that knew him well, and I've got one source that really knew him well, and said for sure he worked for intelligence ops, not just us, but likely other countries around the world as well. And he was a heck of a charmer. So Maxwell goes out, she's got all this software special stuff from Daddy and basically gets it, you know, in other governments all over the world with the U.S. apparently having some kind of backdoor entry into this prison program and she needs somebody to come up with the compromise. I mean, again, this is speculation on my part, but, you know, I wasn't born yesterday. And suddenly this guy emerges and with like lots of money.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Like nobody can quite account for all the money he had. So I think it's suspicious. And I think that probably a lot of the stuff that would have implicated intelligence operations, that was already taken out. But a lot will still come out, right? I mean, poor Larry Summers, he's sitting there going, oh, my gosh, everybody knows my lady troubles now. And there's a lot of people and a lot of names that are going to come forward. And so I would just say, you know, to the Democrats, there's a reason I think you didn't do this when you could have for four whole years.
Starting point is 00:23:15 And now suddenly, suddenly you wanted him to push this out. And that's what he's doing. He tried not to. But, you know, hey, you guys are just masochists that can't stop inflicting pain on yourselves. Hakeem Jeffreys, great example. Exhibit A. Again, he's being asked, what the heck?
Starting point is 00:23:37 Why won't you say boo about that lady from the Virgin Islands? I have no idea what James Comer is talking about in terms of anything that any prior consultant may have sent. I had no idea about that either, but James Comer apparently made the representation on the floor of the house that I see. sat down with Jeffrey Epstein, had dinner with Jeffrey Epstein, have contributions from Jeffrey Epstein. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:24:08 We just watched it. That's not what he said. He said, you were looking for a dinner. Your consultants, your campaign was looking for a dinner. Not that you had dinner. So get your facts straight, buddy boy. James Cohnward. Oh, yeah, I got to call him the Brooklyn Barack.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Don't you love how he says, idea? It's like from my neck of the woods. The word is idea, Baraki. He knows it. This is all part of an effort to try to deflect from their failures as a House majority to deal with the issues of importance to everyday Americans. And of course, to the fact that Republicans have been running a protection program for the last several months.
Starting point is 00:24:48 Woo! Okay, he said the bad word. We took it out because we like to keep it clean here on the Chish Riegan show. The Republicans haven't been. running that. Guys, you were the ones taking the money. I'm sorry. Like, again, if these stats hold out, 89% of the donations coming to the Dems from Epstein. You know, Trump wasn't getting any money. This lady was, though, isn't she a beauty? Plaskett from the Virgin Islands. That's where he, you know, had his abode where all the crimes happened. And she's on the House Intelligence
Starting point is 00:25:20 Committee? Are you kidding me? Like, this is getting a little wacky. Okay. So Plaskett, you know the drill was caught texting him. He was president of the United States. This is the Washington Post. While we were once driving through a struggling neighborhood in Chicago, he's like, are you chewing? Are you chewing? Apparently she had something in your mouth.
Starting point is 00:25:40 Not anymore. I mean, this is the whole thing. Attorney Klein privilege, yes, I will turn it over. He's giving her advice. You as my friend, Mr. Meadows pointed out, Ms. Ledz. He's giving her advice. Okay, they brought up Rona, the keeper of the secrets. Rona was just the executive assistant.
Starting point is 00:25:52 I've told you guys this before. You couldn't be a reporter in New York and not know who Rona Graf was. Like, that was. if you ever interviewed Donald Trump, you went through Rona. Duh, like everybody knew that. Not a big deal. But he's telling her to go for that and watch what she does. This committee, even today, in a written submission that contradicted your testimony.
Starting point is 00:26:09 You have suggested you are going to review that. Did you review, are you going to review it in our next break to correct the record? Yes or no. Yes. Question, you helped out the president's campaign. Quick. We're involved in the campaign. I'm up next.
Starting point is 00:26:21 Is that some special acronym? him. As a representative, as a spokesman, even in your words today, it was... No, that's his assistant. You see, Jeffrey couldn't really type. All of his messages that they have discovered in all of these emails were riddled with typos, so he couldn't even spell Rona's name correctly. That's his assistant, he says, and watch what she does. Her idea for the campaign dating back to 2011. Is that accurate? Yes or no? Yes. Mr. Wisenberg and other individuals, Ms. Rona, who are those individuals? Are they with the Trump organization?
Starting point is 00:26:55 They are. There are other people that we should be meeting with. So Alan Weisselberg is the chief financial officer. Uh-huh. You got to quickly give us as many names as you can so we can get to them. Yes, ma'am. As Ms. Rona, what is Ms. Rona's-Ras-Murna-Graph is the Mr. Trump's executive assistant. And would she be able to corroborate many of the statements that you've made here?
Starting point is 00:27:16 Yes, she was, her office is directly next to his, and she's... Good work. ...involved in a lot. that went on. Whoa. Okay. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:30 So good work, honey, bunny. You're doing your job well. Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. And they're not willing to condemn her for it. And, you know, peace of my mind is asking, like, why the heck didn't she get censured?
Starting point is 00:27:43 And how is it that not every Republican would vote for that? It looked like they had the votes. But apparently, and this is inside baseball, and, you know, I have sources on the hill. I'm hearing that Cory Mills, who's a Republican, was about to get censured. And so they said, okay, you censor her. We'll censure him. And so he had some allies that said, okay, well, maybe we won't do this.
Starting point is 00:28:04 But here's the short answer. I'm going with central them all, okay? Like you have bad behavior. You don't deserve to be there. You need to be punished for this stuff. So that it's a deterrent for other people in the future. Again, he has nothing that he can say on this woman. I think that Stacey Plaskett has spoken.
Starting point is 00:28:23 extensively on this issue, and I'll let her word speak for themselves. Well, we heard from her yesterday. She was like hysterical as she was about to get censured, absolutely, positively hysterical. You can hear it in her voice as it starts to get tighter and tighter and tighter and tighter, remember? Mr. Raskin to my former professor in law school, and I want to address the body. I first want to give you all a sense of what was happening that day. Oh, this is great. She's like, I was on camera.
Starting point is 00:29:02 Everybody was watching me. I was going viral. So, of course, I had to take some advice from him. One knows at that hearing in February, the entire country was watching. As Michael Cohen decided he was going to finally give up information about what was happening, in the Trump world, the Trump enterprise. And at the beginning of that hearing, the ranking member Jim Jordan had the disrespect
Starting point is 00:29:35 to Elijah Cummings, may he rest in peace in his name be a memory, after not allowing Mr. Jordan to shut the committee hearing down. And I turned to Mr. Jordan and told him to have respect for the chair and to basically shut up. And that moment went viral. And I began to get innumerable text from friends, from foes, from constituents about what was happening in that hearing.
Starting point is 00:30:09 And I got a text from Jeffrey Epstein, who at the time was my constituent, who was not public knowledge at that time that he was under federal investigation and sharing information with me. Now, I heard recently from someone that I was taking advice from him. Let me tell you something. I don't need to get advice on how to question anybody from any individual. I have been a lawyer for 30 years. I have been a narcotics prosecutor in New York City. I have been had the honor of being a political appointee at the Justice Department after September 11th as a Republican appointee in the Bush administration. I totally get you, David Lorenzo's like, no one cares. In other words, I am important, I am important, I am important. So how dare you suggest that I
Starting point is 00:31:12 actually need help cross-examining someone. Well, clearly, honey, you needed help because you didn't even know who Donald Trump's executive assistant was. You should have watched the apprentice. Question, individuals. I know how to seek information. I have sought information from confidential informants, from murderers. Oh, were you a spy too? From other individuals because I want the truth, not because I need them to tell me what to say. Unbelievable. And if you look at the transcript. Okay, Well, we, I don't need to bore you all with this, but she is. I mean, she's, she's giving Letitia a run for her money. Let's face it, okay?
Starting point is 00:31:48 Like these people. And Trump said it. You know what? They're all going down. It's not going to be the Republicans going down. I'm sorry, but the names that are coming out when you donate 97 someone or is 89% of your funds, 87% of your funds to Democrats, guess who your friends are? Democrats.
Starting point is 00:32:09 Here's what I want. We have nothing to do with Epstein, the Democrats do. All of his friends were Democrats. You look at this Reid Hoffman, you look at Larry Summers, Bill Clinton, they went to his island all the time, and many others, all Democrats. All I want is I want for people to recognize a great job that I've done on pricing, on affordability, because we brought prices way down, but they go way lower, on energy, on ending eight wars, and another one comes.
Starting point is 00:32:40 pretty soon, I believe. We've done a great job. And I hate to see that deflect from the great job we've done. So I'm all for it. You know, we've already given 50,000 pages. You do know that. Unfortunately, like with the Kennedy situation, with the Martin Luther King situation,
Starting point is 00:33:00 not to put Jeffrey Epstein in the same category, but no matter what we give, it's never enough. You know, with Kennedy, we gave everything, and it wasn't enough. with Martin Luther King, we gave everything and it's never enough. We've already given, I believe the number is 50,000 pages, 50,000 pages. And it's just a Russia, Russia, Russia hoax as it pertains to the Republicans. Now, I believe that many of the people that we, some of the people that we mentioned,
Starting point is 00:33:31 are being looked at very seriously for their relationship to Jeffrey Epstein. But they were with them all the time. I wasn't. I wasn't at all. And we'll see what happens. What I just don't want Epstein to do is detract from the great success of the Republican Party, including the fact that the Democrats are totally blamed for the shutdown. You know, they cost our country hundreds of billions of dollars with that, at a lot of inconvenience.
Starting point is 00:34:00 For sure. But, you know, it is kind of sucking all the oxygen out of the room. Hakeem Jeffries getting exposed here. Stacey Plaskett was about to get censured. And I want to go back to this because Cat Crazy is making the point that this is just gross, right? Like that we shouldn't be doing backroom deals. And that's not why we have our congressional lawmakers there. I told you I had heard through the grapevine that there was a deal made for Corey Mills.
Starting point is 00:34:28 And, you know, I wanted, without revealing all of my sources here, at least get straight to Anapalina Luna, because she was all over this. She's no dummy, and she's like, what is going on? She points this out, saying in a tweet, the Plaskett censure failed because House leadership exchanged that censure failure for the withdrawal of a vote to censor and refer Corey Mills to House ethics for an investigation. The swamp protects itself.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Let's hear from Anna. For what purpose does the general aid in Florida seek recognition? I have a parliamentary inquiry. The gentle lady from Florida will state her inquiry. I was wondering if the Speaker of the House of Representatives can explain why leadership on both sides, both Democrat and Republican, are cutting back-end deals to cover up public corruption in the House of Representatives from both Republican and Democrat members of Congress. The gentlelady has not stated a proper parliamentary inquiry.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Thank you very much, but I think the American people know what happened tonight. Wow. So she had some courage to get up there and to say, you know what? I don't care if it's not a proper inquiry, but. But we know what went down and it's not okay. She's saying the swamp protects itself and it really does feel very much like a swamp. And this echoes what we heard from the Tennessee congressman today just as they go into to have a meeting about how they're going to clean up Congress and all this insider trading. And Tennessee's Tim Burchett is like, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:36:13 This place is not not a swamp actually. It's worse than that. It's a freaking sewer. Take a listen to him. He's ready for battle. Somebody asked me if I was going to wear my jacket up there, and I said, to quote the immortal words of Henry Winkler when he played the Fonz, I always rumble in this jacket because that's what we're up against.
Starting point is 00:36:32 This is a fist fight, folks. I mean, this is, everybody talks about this place being a badgum swamp. It's not a swamp. A swamp is something cool God created. It filters water, animal life lives and flourishes around it. This is a sewer. This is created by man, and it needs to stop. We've, you know, for years, Congress has been using hard work in American taxpayers' money to get rich.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Dadgum, it's got to stop. America knows what the heck's going on. Everybody wants to knock Pelosi. Heck, she's not even in the top ten. Get on that unusual well site. This is pathetic, folks. We all know what's going on. Congress knows what the hell's going on, and it needs to stop.
Starting point is 00:37:12 This body has been rich in itself on the taxpayers' done. for two dead gum long and it's got to stop. This place is crooked and is as crooked as a dog's leg. That's an all east Tennessee saying, but it's the truth. And it needs to stop. America knows what's going on. We're in committee meetings. We hear things before y'all do.
Starting point is 00:37:33 We can make those connections. When you see a member of this body making four or five, six hundred trades a year, you know something drunk. And I want to say something. I'm going to get these guys mad at me, but I really don't care because they can't vote in my district. This thing ain't going to pass. We're going to pass something in the House, and then guess what? The Senate will either one not take it up, or they'll come back in righteous indignation and say,
Starting point is 00:37:59 oh, we need to make this stronger, something totally ridiculous, and they'll send it back to us. This is a scam that's being played on the American public, and it needs to stop. Let's quit with this nonsense. Let's give America a reason to trust Congress for one. once in our miserable lives. This is our chance to stand up and say, we hear what you're saying, America, we're going to fix this goddamn problem, but we probably won't do it. And I'll remain ticked off the rest of the day because of this. Yeah. So what he's talking about, by the way, NVIDIA did crush earnings and that's awesome, awesome news. So we'll get to NVIDIA in a second. But
Starting point is 00:38:35 what Tim Burchett is talking about here is all the insider trading that's been going on for years, right? Like years and years and years. And there's been some effort to try and restricted along the way and every time there's a little effort to restrict it, it gets shut down. And I got to tell you, this doesn't exist anywhere else. You know what? On Wall Street, back when I worked in Wall Street, like I had to register with the SEC. And if God forbid, I traded something without getting permission from the bank I worked for, I'd be out of a job. And maybe there would be a lawsuit. Like, it's, it's serious stuff. So years ago, I learned, okay, you know, I got to be super careful on this when I worked in finance.
Starting point is 00:39:15 You have to be. And so here is Congress regulating all of Wall Street saying, you can't trade this, you can't trade this. We're going to be so careful on your insider trading. And you look at what they're doing. I mean, they're in all these committee hearings. They know stuff before we do. They got insider information.
Starting point is 00:39:31 If you go to the website, he mentioned unusual wells, it's like, okay, well, like, what is so-and-so trading today? It's really gross, okay? So why hasn't anybody stopped that? Because they need to stop it. They need to stop it themselves. but they're not going to stop it, ladies and gentlemen. Why? Because they're making too much money. All right. It is way too profitable for each and every one of them. So the corruption is real.
Starting point is 00:39:54 And he's right. It's not the swamp. It's the sewer. And so whether you're talking about a backroom deal like on Apollina Luna mentioned the representative from Florida where you're like, okay, well, we won't censor her because that means they're going to censor him and you're trading people like that or whether you're literally trading stocks because you know a certain policy is actually going to favor a certain company, like that has to stop. It just has to stop. Like, and he's absolutely right. These people are going there and there's no trust, there's no faith in any of them
Starting point is 00:40:27 because they're all making money off of the policies that they're putting forward. It is gross. It's unbelievable. Okay, but good news, Envidia did crush it. If you want to know more about Invidia, go over to my 76 research channel at 76 research at on YouTube or you can go to 76 research.com. We have a lot of notes that we publish there. We come to you free every day here on the Trish Regan Show. I hope you're subscribing. In part, thanks to our friends at Balance of Nature. I want to get to Bill and Hillary Clinton because this story is really, really going to get rather interesting, I think. Commer's calling for their tales in a big way. But before we do, balance of nature.com, 35% off with my code word, Trish, T-R-I-S-H, you're helping yourself, you're helping the show. And, hey,
Starting point is 00:41:33 it's kind of nice when you look at the back of the supplement bottle and you can understand all the ingredients on there. 31 fruits and veggies, the fruits and veggies supplement. They get all kinds of supplements. In fact, if you sign up with code word Trish, you get 35% off and you get a free fiber and spice supplement. And I encourage you to take a look at it. That's for new customers, by the way, new customers only.
Starting point is 00:41:54 So sorry, Leslie. I know. Leslie already uses it. But I'm sorry to the people that have been using it for years. I congratulate you on that. But for new folks, do use my code Trish, 35% off. plus free shipping, plus money back guarantee. So lots to win there.
Starting point is 00:42:12 I mean, money back guarantee. That's pretty good. All right. So we've got to get to Hillary and Bill because boy, oh boy, oh boy, these two. Can you believe we're still talking about them? We are. Okay, there's a big Newsweek headline. Bill and Hillary Clinton risk prison over Epstein silence.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Let's see if we can make it really big. Do you see that? This is Newsweek. prison because you see Comer's like, we're not going to mess around here. Prison time. So, you know, all those talks of her in the orange jumpsuit, those are going to come back. Oh, here's the article. Let me show you, again, appearing in Newsweek today after Comer was pretty explicit. So we should point out there's no direct evidence other than the flight logs, right? He apparently traveled with them everywhere. But there's no actually any
Starting point is 00:43:07 kind of direct evidence suggesting that the Clintons committed any crime, suggestions of possible legal exposure do inject Newsweek Rights new tension into an already charged debate over transparency, accountability, and the political weaponization of the Epstein case. So he apparently was real buddy-buddies with him, and as a result of that, he's now under fire. So you had Comer going on with our friend John Solomon over at just the news last night, saying we expect to hear from Bill and Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump aired some questions for years about Jeffrey Epstein every day. He got asked questions about Epstein. He answers them in front of the American public. We've subpoenaed Republicans and Democrats, but the Clintons, I guess, are just ignoring this.
Starting point is 00:43:55 So Newsweek reached out to them, and I guess they reached out outside of regular working hours, so they heard nothing. I don't think you guys are going to hear much. I think that they're going to refuse to testify. According to Comer, you know, they've, they've had plenty of opportunity to answer these subpoenas, but they're just refusing to do so. And he thinks it's in part because there's concern about possible perjury if they were to answer these questions. And there's also, well, we don't know what's in there just yet, right? Other than he was on a lot of the flights. I want to go to some sound from Fox News earlier today. A historic move for the Oversight Committee.
Starting point is 00:44:34 Just imagine for a moment, Bill and Hillary Clinton walking down this very hallway here on the way. Okay, I'm going to, that seems to have a bit of music in it. So we will leave that alone. But on Fox today, they were talking about this very issue because, you know, hey, what happens to anybody else? Think about it, guys. If you're Steve Bannon and you say, I'm not going to testify before Congress, which is exactly what Steve Bannon did, then you go to jail. If you're Peter Navarro and you say,
Starting point is 00:45:07 I'm not going to testify before Congress, then you'll go to jail. And it may not seem fair. It may not seem right. I mean, at the time, everybody felt so bad for Steve and Peter. And I was like, well, they're choosing not to testify before Congress. Like, okay?
Starting point is 00:45:22 Like, they can't play that card. You see, they can't play that card because Biden's in charge and the Democrats are in charge and they're going to send them to prison. It's not like, you know, who was the woman who was, I think, running the IRS under Obama and they wanted her to testify and she wouldn't testify in the Tea Party case. But she hadn't out, you see, because Obama was president and he was able to say, okay, don't worry about it. We're going to pardon you, no big deal. You don't have to go to prison.
Starting point is 00:45:50 But if the Democrats are in charge and you're the lone Republican out there saying, well, I'm not going to testify. Like, I'm sorry, I love Steve, but gee, you know, you're going to find your tail pretty fast in prison. the same with Peter, you're going to prison. That's what happens. And so Bill and Hillary, guess what? Your team is not in charge. If you refuse to testify, you're going to prison. Okay? Like pretty simple. Okay, maybe Bill has some room there, guys, what do you think? Because the Supreme Court did say you can't really go after a former president because they were trying to do that right to jail Donald Trump instead of a big issue that came up and saying, you know, there's a certain sort of grace that we afford them. And so maybe Bill gets off that way,
Starting point is 00:46:35 although I've heard some legal arguments that suggest the opposite, but what's Hillary got? And I don't think Biden pardoned either one of them. All the auto partons that happened, I don't think they got one. So not that the auto partons are going to hold. That's a whole other issue. So the Clintons are definitely going to be in a little bit of trouble. Just a teeny little bit. Okay, just a teeny little bit. Assuming, of course, that this thing really sees the light of day, and the only way it sees the light of day is if everybody stays on this. And by everybody, I mean, including one Pam Bondi, who claims that she's going to do everything that she can, and I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt for, you know, about a week or two,
Starting point is 00:47:21 but we are going to need to see everything. And there's no way to kind of weasel your way out of this one. you can't tell us you have a truckload of files and then not produce them, you know, as she did, don't forget to all those social media influencers that went down to D.C. Already saying, I got the files, I got the files. And then it was like, blah, nothing. So she's got a lot of pressure on her and she's going to have to deliver. But it's important, shall we say, for a lot of reasons, that Congress stay controlled by Republicans next year because there's a lot we still need to get to.
Starting point is 00:47:56 And you know what's going to happen. And if it's not controlled by Republicans, it means that all of President Trump's agenda, which includes so many good things in terms of affordability, in terms of border security, in terms of health care reform, in terms of, you know, this, like the Epstein stuff, like all of it, all of it, which, you know, he says is the Russia 2.0 hoax. I get it. I think it really is at this point. Listen, like all of that is going to go by the wayside unless you actually have. conservatives running the joint. So I, that's like one of my fears. Like I think about, we have all
Starting point is 00:48:32 these freedoms right now. Remember to subscribe, share, like, all that good stuff, help support the show. We have these freedoms in part because there's an administration in there that's allowing for it. So it's critical that we keep that. Specifically when it comes to, I want to give a plug for our friends over to Americans for a balanced budget, when it comes to the economy and a big part of our economy, as you well know, is healthcare. And what's going on with healthcare right now, you got a health care problem where costs just keep going up, up, up, up in a way. I want you to go to stop health cost hikes.com today to go check this out. Stop health care, not health care, health costs, stop health costs hikes.com because basically there's a,
Starting point is 00:49:19 there's a whole bunch of tax cuts that could expire and if they do so. Or, you know, if they get rid of those, then what's going to happen is lots of hardworking Americans are going to get hit with much, much higher costs. So if you think health care costs are bad now, and I know you do, just wait. Congress needs to extend these critical health care tax credits that keep premiums affordable for working families who buy their own coverage, right? With open enrollment underway, many are already facing sticker shock. You've got monthly premiums that are set to double for many, many people.
Starting point is 00:49:51 Some of you guys have written me about this. And there's still time to act. That's the good news. but they got to move now. So Congress needs to move now. And not hand Democrats, frankly, a political gift because of health care costs skyrocket, you know what that's going to mean. It's going to mean problems come midterms. They will use that. They will say, well, look at the cost of health care. This is because of Trump. This is because of the Republicans. So we need to make sure that these tax credits stay in place. We need to keep premiums low. It's really important just on a whole lot of
Starting point is 00:50:23 level. So go check it out. Stop HealthCosts.hikes.com. This is a sponsorship paid for by Americans for a balanced budget. They're trying to do the right thing. And you know I'm all about balancing a budget and I've never met a tax cut or credit. I didn't really like. It's my lip for your die background. Live for your die. It'll do it to you, right? Even if you're a dem, I like to say. in New Hampshire, we believe in very little taxes. Anyway, as we end the show, ABC is having a really rocky night, okay? Really, really rocky night. The Democrats are having a really, really rocky night.
Starting point is 00:51:03 I hope you have a wonderful night. I hope you sleep really well. I think for the first time Republicans can breathe a little bit of a sigh of relief here because I do think a lot is going to come out. Maybe not as much as we'd like because I do, you know, have my suspicions that this was an intel up. I'm sorry, you know. That hasn't been officially confirmed, but I have a source that was very close to him that said he was pretty confident.
Starting point is 00:51:26 This guy was working for not just us, but some other intel operations around the world. Anyway, more to come on all of it tomorrow. Thank you so much for being here. We will connect again tomorrow live. Make sure you subscribe, share, like, and hit the alert button for all the Trish Riga material so you know exactly when I'm here. See soon.
