Charlie Kirk's murder case took a pretty dramatic turn today.
We got some testimony that we didn't anticipate getting.
This was a stunning courtroom reversal, if you would, a judge changing his ruling and allowing the public to see the testimony from arguably the most important witness in this entire case.
This is the man prosecutors say Tyler Robinson knew better than anyone.
This is the roommate, the lover.
the significant other and what the judge heard today, what the jury heard today was pretty
darn extraordinary. So this is the first time we have heard from Lance Twigs. Lance Twigs, the lover of
Tyler Robinson. It is believed that Tyler Robinson allegedly killed Charlie to effectively avenge
Lance Twigs because he didn't like where Charlie stood on pretty key cultural.
and political issues. So Lance Twigs came forward in this video testimony today, as well as with a series
of text messages, a series of text messages that are also important to highlight because gosh darn it,
you know what, guys, I'm sorry, this kind of says it all right here. I mean, you had texts going on
with Lance Twigs saying you weren't the old, you weren't the one who did it, right? And Tyler Robinson
saying, I am, I'm sorry, Lance then saying, I thought they caught the purpose.
and Tyler saying, no, they grabbed some crazy old dude and interrogated someone in similar clothing
and Lance saying, how long have you been planning this? Tyler replies a bit over a week, I believe.
I mean, this pretty much, I mean, sounds like a confession to me, right? If it walks like a duck,
it talks like a duck. This is a big deal. These messages, if the jury believes them,
could become the most powerful evidence really presented during this trial. I should point out,
it's a pre-trial. In other words, they're trying to get enough evidence.
together, kind of like an indictment would be in order to move forward here. But, well, I think you got a lot,
shall we say. You know, I want to point out credit to Erica Kirk here because she is the one who made
that urgent appeal to the court, arguing that she and the public at large really deserve the
opportunity to see this evidence presented to them by, you know, against the man who is accused
of murdering her husband. So this is a very, very big deal, guys, important.
thing that happened today. I want to go first to some of the, well, let's go first actually to
this guy that alleged, well, I guess he isn't alleged in that case. He was the romantic partner
of Tyler Robinson, the alleged murderer. And he's saying here that the behavior of Robinson
after the killing was significant. I mean, I'm editorializing a little bit there. He's not saying
it's significant. Let's just go to him because he's describing what I think, what I think is pretty
significant and pretty telling. Take a peek. When did you first see him on September 11th? So this is
the day after the year. Yeah, I saw him when I woke up. Like I said, he was up and around doing a lot
of stuff around the house. And then I, I think I saw him after that message where I said, I'll
come home and say I'm doing laundry. Because I didn't want him.
going to my parents' house right then when he said there was probably cops outside.
So I went back home.
And it was just him there, and I said by to him, and then he drove off.
So I just went back to my parents' house.
Wow.
Okay.
So it sounds like he was acting a little bit suspect, right?
I mean, it's really pretty extraordinary.
We weren't going to get to hear any of this.
I should point out again.
It was thanks to Erica Kirk's last minute.
and very urgent appeal there, that we got to hear this.
But I got to tell you, it's pretty darn chilling.
It's really quite chilling.
The text messages are chilling as well,
because according to Twigs, the morning of September 10th,
that was the day that Charlie was fatally shot at Utah Valley University.
I just want to point out, by the way,
the story's hard for me.
I don't like actually covering it because I knew Charlie pretty well.
He used to come on my show every week.
I was one of the first to put him on TV way back when,
when I first started my show on Fox Business.
And he was incredible, right?
He was just incredible.
He was so smart and so thoughtful about how he approached all of these issues.
And, you know, look, he was smart in that he was really thinking about some of the most critical things.
The young generation needs to think about it.
I don't want to, you know, I don't want to dwell too much on this because I think you've all seen me sobbing about this.
The week that it happened, the day that it happened, we were at.
actually here together when I got the news. And I just had such respect for him. And this is horrible.
And it's a really sad day in our society when people are targeted like this. Charlie didn't deserve
this. Erica didn't deserve this. Those kids didn't deserve this. The world didn't deserve this.
But that was a pretty tough day, right? September 10th. And in these text messages, we're hearing that
Robinson apparently told him he had a long drive to work and nothing appeared really unusual.
usual at that time, but later in the day, Twigs received a text instructing him to look underneath
the keyboard and hidden there was a handwritten note that allegedly read I had the opportunity
to take Charlie Kirk out and now I'm going to do it. It's tough. It's tough, horrible stuff,
but you know what? We have a legal system for a reason and everything that I'm hearing now,
well, I think we kind of knew that from the start. After all, he turned himself in, guys. I
I mean, I realize there's some podcasters out there that want to invert all kinds of other things and, you know, blame everybody else.
But the guy turned himself in after his father recognized him.
Let's go back to the courtroom.
So read that again, starting from look under the keyboard.
So, so after that, then Lance responds.
He says, what?
And then he says, you're joking, right?
And then Tyler says, I try to delete that.
We could scroll down to page two.
and if you can continue reading along.
Okay.
And Tyler says,
I'm still okay,
my love,
but I'm stuck in Orem for a little while longer yet.
Shouldn't be long until I can come home,
but got to grab my rifle still.
To be honest,
I had hoped to keep this secret
until I died of old age.
I am sorry to involve you.
And then Lance replies,
you weren't the one who did it right.
And Tyler says,
I am, I'm sorry.
Lance says, I thought they caught the person.
And then Tyler says, no, they grabbed some crazy old dude and interrogated someone in similar clothing.
I'd planned to grab my rifle from the drop point shortly after, but most of that side of town got locked down.
It's quiet almost enough to get out, but there's one vehicle lingering.
We could scroll down to page three.
Oh, boy.
Lance says why, and Tyler says, why did I?
do it? And Lance says, yeah. Tyler says, I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can't be negotiated
out. If I'm able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence, going to attempt
to retrieve it again. Hopefully they have moved on. I haven't seen anything in the news about
them finding it. We'll update you shortly or Charlie will update you by midnight. And then Lance
says, all right, stay safe. How long have you been planning this? Scroll down a little bit.
Please, Kimberly?
And Tyler replies, a bit over a week, I believe.
I can get close to it, but there is a squad car parked right by it.
I think they already swept that spot, but I don't want to chance it.
We can scroll down to page four and continue reading about halfway down.
I'll stop you about halfway down.
This is while they were a spot, but I don't want a chance it while they were parked there.
If they'd found it, I imagine there would be more.
commotion. Again, I'm sorry for roping you. I'm sorry for roping you into this, blah, blah, blah.
He didn't want to have to do that, but apparently he said, I had enough of his hatred.
Some hate can't be negotiated out. I'm going to tell you, having known Charlie as long as I did,
he was not a hateful person, not at all. But these are the statements. They're being presented
by prosecutors through the witness testimony. Robinson, he, listen, he, he,
he's going to have to deal with this.
They're talking about the death penalty, okay?
The death penalty here.
And if the jurors believe in the authenticity of this stuff,
which I don't know why they wouldn't,
but again, you get some crazy podcasters out there,
you know, I'm not one of them,
that want to cast all kinds of doubt on all this.
And in the defense, even yesterday,
was talking about the DNA and going on,
down this giant DNA rabbit hole.
And none of it had anything to do with anything.
But nonetheless, there are the doubters out there.
I've heard a lot at this point, and I've seen a lot, and I'm not sure how you don't come to the same conclusion I'm coming to here.
The one thing that struck me is just a little bit weird was when Twigs said that Robinson actually didn't talk about politics a lot.
That one just, that was the only moment really where I was given some kind of pause.
Don't forget twigs got immunity, not blank and immunity, but immunity from, you know, anything
that he's saying they're not going to use that against him, unless, of course, they discovered
that he was somehow involved directly in the crime.
But this one struck me as really strange, guys, because how is it that Tyler Robinson
would go and take out Charlie Kirk if he didn't have, I mean, why is he saying that some hate,
you know, just needs to be taken out?
And then you get this guy, the lover, saying, no, actually, actually, we didn't talk about politics a lot.
This one kind of struck me as odd.
How about Charlie Kirk?
Did you ever talk about Charlie Kirk?
I personally had never heard him talk about Charlie Kirk before, specifically.
Okay.
How about political issues?
So did you ever talk about gender identity issues and LGBTQ rights?
Uh, no, not really.
Usually if he did talk about politics stuff, it was relating to Trump or current, like, policies being, like, issued or voted, voted on, I think.
But, yeah.
Hmm.
So that's, that's one that, you know, I think is a little bit strange.
It's a little bit strange, right?
because then, you know, maybe the guy's just completely,
maybe you gotta have an insanity plea because he's just woo-hoo.
You know, he doesn't care about any of this,
but he apparently just goes out and decides to take out Charlie Kirk anyway,
even though apparently they never discussed the LGBT issues,
although apparently they're in a gay relationship,
and, well, you can add the furry thing, and, you know, this could degenerate very quickly.
So we won't go into all of that, but let's just say they had kind of a bizarre thing going on.
And I can't imagine that, you know,
he's out there trying to take out Charlie if he didn't ever talk about politics and these things
at home. So that one I'm curious to hear more on. Look, we're going to hear more, okay? Because I think
after everything that the judge heard today, the final verdict here is that, yes, this is moving forward
to trial. And they're probably going to include the death penalty. Utah's got it. And this is,
so this is kind of a clerical thing, right? They've got to go through the procedure here,
the procedure like an indictment, as I said, where the judge says, okay, we got to,
enough evidence now, which is why they're presenting everything. They're putting forward the tape
from the key witness. They're putting the lover. They're putting forward the DNA evidence. They're
putting forward everything they can, including we saw video of him turning himself in to the police.
We've seen, we're going to see a lot of it here. We're going to see more of it during the trial.
But I just think at this point, basically, the prosecution has met its burden beyond a reasonable
doubt here. You are going to have some cross-examination, for example, of...

Twigs during the eventual trial, but I'm pretty darn sure that the judge is going to move forward and say, yep, this sounds like it is certainly worthy of a murder trial to me.
Anyway, I want to go to some of the courtroom reaction.
Erica was apparently quite shaken up, of course, by all this, as one would imagine she would be.
and Tyler Robinson, when he heard some of the text messages, apparently started getting agitated.
You had moms in there crying. I mean, this is tough stuff, ladies and gentlemen, tough stuff.
And I got to tell you, I blame this darn country for getting too darn partisan and not being able to understand and appreciate all sides and not having any kind of empathy for anyone.
And it's just disgusting what has happened.
And we'll talk more about that in a second.
But let's go to the courtroom reaction, the Fox News reporter, talking about,
what was going on inside, including some reports from the Fox Digital.
Let's take a listen.
Trace, just more details coming from inside the courtroom from our digital reporter.
When they got to the point discussing the rifle that was used,
Tyler Robinson was squirming, apparently uncomfortable,
swinging in his chair, scratching his nose.
He looked uncomfortable with the texts that were being discussed.
Also, Erica Kirk was looking down, leaning forward,
not looking at the screen showing those texts.
A reporter also said Erica was audibly crying throughout the proceeding today.
When they got to the part about Lance was, when he was asking Tyler about the rifle and
for hunting, the very graphic detail about the nature of the gun that Robinson said did
well in the killing.
That is when Tyler's mom, Tyler Robinson's mom started crying and wiping her eyes.
Charlie Kirk's mother had her hand on Erica's upper arm and shoulder, and they were both
tearful today. After showing the discord chat logs, the prosecution also put the note from
Tyler Robinson on the screen. That's the handwritten note that's been discussed, that Tyler
Robinson left for his lover. Our reporter inside of the courtroom says it was a very lengthy,
full-page handwritten note, Trace. Yeah, Matt Finn, back to you as the news warrants.
Okay, so, you know, I think they're going to have enough, shall we say? You know, what's the expression
you can indict a ham sandwich? And this is a little different. Utah does it.
a little bit differently, but you got something big coming here, and I wouldn't be surprised if they
have the death penalty then on the table. Tough stuff, right? Tough stuff. Don Jr. has been there.
Don Jr. has been there as a sort of support there for Erica Kirk. I want to go to some of his comments.
He was a very good friend of Charlie's. In fact, don't forget, they were up in Greenland, right?
Remember when they were in Greenland? Hey, we're going to get Greenland. I got more on that coming up in the show.
But he was there talking about just what a difficult time this has been, of course, for Erica.
Some of the video that was played in court is something that we have never seen before,
and the public seeing it for the first time.
It's my understanding on Monday.
There was some video that was played, and Erica chose to get up and leave the courtroom at that time for obvious reasons when that failed shot was fired.
How is she doing? What does she want America to know?
Listen, she is doing as well as she can be under the circumstances.
She was obviously very grateful that Bettina and I were there.
to support her. You know, obviously, I've been friends with her as long as she's known Charlie.
And she's just a great person, a mother trying to get by, trying to, you know, fulfill her husband's legacy.
There's obviously a lot of sadness in all of this. I think there's a lot of frustration, frankly, that this could have ever happened.
I mean, one of the things I did here that was sort of shocking was that there were only six officers on duty, you know, on this campus event.
No, no briefing beforehand, no real set game plan, and six officers for a turning point.
event and anyone who's watched the news in the last, you know, decade or so would realize there'd be
thousands of people on this campus. So, you know, I imagine there's some frustration with that,
but I think she just wants justice. She's doing an incredible job just holding it together,
given the circumstances and the, you know, sheer brutality of how this all happened. And, you know,
frankly, some of the sheer noise that has come after her and attacked her and the organization
and all of that, which is, again, I've stayed quiet, I've supported her. We've talked, you know,
regularly ever since. I haven't been that vocal because I haven't known what's real and what's not,
but having literally been there in the room, seen the evidence with my own eyes, you know,
it's very clear to me that Tyler Robinson will be found guilty.
Yeah. Guilty, guilty, guilty. I'm looking at some of your comments here in real time.
We're remembering how challenging and awful that day was and gosh, how just awful that week was.
I mean, it was just, you know, it's been, it's such a heavy heart. And, you know, I may have told you guys my
my kids listened to Charlie. And it's one thing like to hear it from mom, right? When I'm sitting there
trying to, you know, talk free market capitalism and that kind of stuff. They don't really love it when I
say it. But they discovered Charlie all on their own, all on their own. And they love, one of my girls in
particular, just loved him. And she loves debate and she would love watching him. She even goes back.
She's like, Mom, do you think it's weird that I listen to Charlie Kirk debates going to bed every night?
I'm like, it's a little weird, honey.
It's a little weird, but you know what?
Go for it.
I'm going to tear up again.
I mean, he was just such a force for this young generation and such an important part of teaching them what capitalism and America and all of that greatness is about.
And he was also, by the way, I worked with him, not just at Fox, but of course at Salem,
because Salem was one of the companies that sells the ads in my show.
And he also was at Salem.
And there were a few times, I remember back in 2020 when he'd be somewhere not able to do his show.
And they were like, Tish, can you come in and fill in it?
I'm like, sure, you know what?
Sure.
It was 2020.
There wasn't much to do, right?
So anyway, I just have the fondest memories of him.
and I'm so thankful for everything that he gave us.
And his legacy will be long, right?
It will be deep and it is great.
I want to go back to Don Jr.
talking about the courtroom and talking about his legacy
and what he really meant to this movement.
I'm there to not only honor Charlie's legacy
to support Erica, his parents who were there,
you know, seated all in the row with us.
It was just important to be there.
It's a legacy that really needs to be preserved.
The impact that Charlie had on so many Americans,
on so many youth is, you know, frankly, generational.
It could have been so much more.
But it was important to be there
and to see the actual facts laid out.
Yeah.
You know, we're getting them one by one.
They're coming in, and it's important for the truth to be told.
Very, very important.
You know, so again, rest in peace, Charlie, my friend.
He will be always very, very much missed,
but he leaves behind a tremendous family,
a tremendous legacy, a tremendous library of content
that is still so worth seeing.
It's timeless in those ways.
I want to switch gears here, though,
because we were just talking about how there is this culture
that's so willing,
to indict one side, right? I mean, we've all been through it. And that's a culture that I see
very much on the left, not on the right. And the right is actually, you know, we're actually very,
I think, willing to listen and hear people out. And I don't know about you, but I'm very, very aware,
like if somebody has a different point of view, I want to be sensitive to that. I don't try and
hit them over the head really hard. I mean, maybe if you're watching this show right now,
you see that because, you know, it's me and you.
But, you know, I want to be cautious when I'm out there in the real world and not offend anyone.
And so I'm very willing to listen. And by the way, I tell you, I read all things. I want to know
what every single side, oh, by the way, speaking of ads, I have an ad right here that I should get to.
Let me go back to that sort of indictment of the left in a second. But I want to take a quick break for one of our great sponsors here on the show.
Gosh, I mean, heck, we're talking about Charlie, for goodness sakes. And I told you recently about
somebody in my community that passed away very, very unexpectedly, who was in his early 50s and had
three young kids and it's just awful. They're keeping it quiet. I mean, otherwise I'd tell you
more. I know you guys wanted to donate, which was very, very sweet. But anyway, I was shocked
when I heard this, but I was also more shocked when I heard that this particular individual did not
have life insurance. And so the family is really in a tough spot as a result of it. Our community
has come together and done some things for them.
but nonetheless, very, very tough.
So ethos.com forward slash Trish.
It's going to take you 10 minutes, okay?
10 minutes to get covered with life insurance.
Life insurance through ethos.
Go check it out.
E-T-H-O-S dot com forward slash Trish.
Application times may vary.
Rates may vary.
But you know what?
Look, you never know.
You never know.
In the case of this person, not a friend of mine,
I actually didn't know the family directly,
but so many people I know knew them.
Everybody's shocked, right? Not only shocked by the sudden illness. It was very sudden. It was very
rare form of cancer and they only discovered it like 10 days before he actually died. Think about that.
And he did not have life insurance. And this is somebody who's living a very, you know, upper
middle class lifestyle and going on fancy vacations and, you know, out on the boat and all this
kind of stuff and didn't have life insurance, which just blew me away. And I said, you know what?
All the more reason. I got to tell people about this. Ethos.com.
forward slash Trish, check that out today. I'm also putting the link in the show notes.
But you think about what's going on. You got one side of the aisle just so darn determined to
win that they're willing to overlook everything, including overlooking the jerk that Graham Platner
is. So he just announced last night, as I told you he would, that he's out. He's out. He's no
longer running for Senate in Maine. He blames the media, of course. He blames, oh, you know, how dare they?
he blames like APEC too because conspiracy theorists that he is,
he's joining the ranks of Marjorie Taylor Green and going down that whole aisle.
Anyway, this guy was bad news. He had to go.
But you know what's crazy about it all?
They're just going to pluck someone in and put them right in,
kind of like they did with Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, right?
We've seen this movie before.
It's kind of funny.
They're just going to go out.
They get a few candidates to choose from,
boop. We're going to put them in. See how that one goes. I mean, look, I think it was the right
step for him to step down. Don't get me wrong. You even had Bernie Sanders coming out and saying,
yeah, probably time to go. Amazing that they overlooked everything that they overlooked, right?
Because it was like one thing after another. And they're like, oh, but his personality.
Whoa, let me just say, like this is a very good thing that he's out of the race. He had to go.
But what cracks me up is how they're just like, okay,
ee, me, me, mynie, mo.
Who's coming up next?
Let's go to my friend Joe Concha,
who covers the media for Fox,
and he had a good take on it.
Again, it reminds me, just like Biden.
In the end, this sort of stuff does not sit well,
I would hope, with Democrat voters,
because again, this is the party that says over and over again,
guys, that they only exist to save democracy.
So what are they going to do again?
They're going to install a candidate,
Soviet style that the people have no say in whatsoever and say,
here's your candidate, almost like giving your kids something to eat and be like,
you know what, you're going to have that because that's the only thing we're serving at this point.
So Susan Collins may get to live another day, right?
Susan Collins may be there longer than you think.
By the way, it's not like she's some kind of panacea for MAGA.
She actually doesn't like the president very much, and she often votes against him.
however the alternative would be quite disastrous.
I mean, they've got all these crazy anti-Semitic socialists.
Well, I would argue communists that they're trying to run.
And they think that's going to work?
I mean, the scary thing is it worked in New York City.
And in New York, you know, the backup singers, the three of them,
that all blame America for 9-11.
Yeah, they won too.
So, like, they're probably all going to Congress.
then you get somebody out in Michigan, right?
That Islamic radical socialist who really seems to hate America.
Yeah, he's lining himself up too, for goodness sakes.
Let me see if I can find this guy for you
because he's the one that claims he's a physician.
Of course, you have to actually pass your medical board exams
and you actually have to take a residency into account
before you can call yourself a physician, complete a residency, I should say.
And this guy has done none of the above, and yet he's out there trying to run for Senate in the state of
Michigan. He's got the Democrat nominee position. I have a good little video of him.
He was actually challenged by none other than a total liberal. Like this guy is so liberal.
I think he got booted off of MSNBC.
He's so liberal.
So now he's got some show somewhere.
I don't know where.
It could be his own podcast.
Who knows?
Anyway, he started pressing the guy on him.
And he's like, yeah, you know, he's sticking by his idea that he is somehow still a doctor.
And that this is irrelevant, that he lied.
I mean, full on lied.
No other way to describe this.
This guy is a full on lie.
liar, okay? So here we go. You're going to see the liar and the liberal reporter that can't even
deal with this. You got attacked by your rivals for calling yourself a physician, not just a doctor,
even though you don't have a valid state medical license in New York or Michigan, which apparently
is what you need legally to call yourself a physician. Do you wish you'd just stuck to calling
yourself a doctor, which you are to avoid all of this controversy and attacks on your
physician status? You know, at the end of the day, is not about what you're not.
or not I'm a physician or a doctor. The question is, can you see a doctor? It's not about my
education. It's about whether or not your kid gets a good at education. So I'm just not spending time.
But people would say it's also about, did you tell the truth? Well, I would say that I was the health
director for the city Detroit. I've done more to provide more people health care or eliminate
their medical debt than most doctors have done in their practice career.
Excuse me. It still doesn't make you a physician, okay? Like you're still not actually.
a physician. So now you're like, okay, it doesn't matter. Like, I can, I can run for Senate and just
lie to y'all. I mean, why on earth do it? I mean, the guy's right, the liberal guy that got,
I think, tossed her left somehow, MSNBC. He's right. He's right. Because it's like,
well, don't you wish you just said you were a doctor? Like, why did you have to push it that far?
Physicians sounded more important, but you see to be a physician, you actually have to pass your
medical exams. You actually have to go and do a residency. It actually requires more work than just
your little medical school education, okay? You're not a physician. You may be able to put
doctor next to your name, just like, you know, if I were to go get a doctorate of law,
or if I were to go get a doctorate in economics, I can put doctor next to my name, but you didn't
actually do. So this is important. Like they're willing to stand up there and put these layers up there
that are a socialist that want to actually corrupt our system and not just build upon the legacy
that is America, this fabulous, terrific legacy that we have, thank you very much.
Right?
They don't want to build that.
They want to tear it down.
I mean, it's just disgusting.
It really is disgusting, and it bugs me a lot.
It really bugs me because, you know, these people, like, I don't know what it, they go to
some school somewhere that tells them this is how you should be thinking about things.
And suddenly they decide, you know, maybe because they've never actually had to live under communism,
not that I ever did, but I've read enough history to understand that this is not a direction you ever want to be going in.
I mean, what was the last time you read the words?
Let me just ask you this, because we've talked about this before, about the Declaration of Independence,
the words that created the United States of America.
It's an extraordinary document, the Declaration of Independence that I'm talking about.

A revolutionary truth.
All men are created equal.
Our rights come from gone, not from government.
And freedom is the birthright of every single American.
Those are words that really change the world.
And so now, as we celebrate 250,
okay, July 4th was the other day.
I get it.
But we got all year, all year to celebrate this.
And my friends, over to America,
Americans for Prosperity, they are celebrating like you wouldn't believe. They've got this thing called
American for Prosperity, Americans for Prosperity Declaration Project. So you can take the pledge. You can
read the Declaration of Independence. Read it at a barbecue. Okay, do something really American.
Read it at your neighbor's, neighbor's pool. You know, you have a pool because of capitalism.
And you can do this by just going to a 250 toolkit. I forgot to put this in here. So I'm just doing it live.
on the fly, forward slash Trish, go there today and read the Declaration of Independence,
A250Toolkit.com forward slash Trish.
Again, A250Toolkit.com forward slash Trish.
This is something Americans for Prosperity, wonderful friends of mine, great sponsor of the show.
They put together, and I'd love it if you could go and check that out.
But I'll tell you, you know, you've got the left right now trying to take us in a direction
that I don't think any of us actually would ever want to go.
not you if you're watching or listening to this show. But, you know, even your neighbor over there
who wishes Graham Platner were back in the Senate campaign, even those neighbors would not like
socialism because it basically would restrict all of their rights for goodness sakes. I mean,
that is something that we all, the sensible side of us, all know, we all know so, so well.
You know where else they know it? You know where else they know it? They're starting to learn this
in none other than Spain, in France, in the UK.
In all of those countries that love socialism, right?
Socialism has not worked out so well for any of them.
Trump came out and said he's going to be ending trade with Spain,
and all of a sudden Spain folded.
Oh, yeah.
They're like, little Pedrito Sanchez realized the handwriting,
is on the wall. You see, because if Donald Trump cuts trade with Spain, Donald Trump is cutting trade
with the entire EU. So you can imagine the attack dogs came out. Hey, little Pedro, you better do
something about this, ASAP, or else, or else. Now, you heard him, right? You heard him. He said he would
cut trade with Spain. So today, I'm going to show you what Spain did, but first, just to, just to remember,
This is the president talking about how he has every, every intention of just wiping the books clean.
Spain, it's over.
Spain is a wasted cause.
We don't want to do any trade business with Spain anymore, by the way.
I'd like you to cut it up.
Spain is a terrible partner in NATO.
They don't participate.
They don't pay.
I don't want anything to do with Spain.
Cut off all trade with Spain, please.
including visits.
Okay, we don't want anything to do.
Watch them come running back.
Oh, they'll come running back.
They treat this man terribly,
and this man's a good man, too,
great man. They're lucky they have him.
But Spain doesn't agree to anything,
and you shouldn't carry them.
I mean, you sort of automatically carry
because you're protecting an area, so they're there.
So they probably figured they have to protect us, right?
But we don't have to.
We don't have to trade with them.
I don't want to do any more trade.
with them. All right? Take it immediately. Don't even talk to them. They're hopeless. Bad people
because, you know, they have everybody else going and paying and working in Spain, in particular
Spain. There are a couple of others, but in particular Spain, they're open about it, they're hostile
about it, and let's see a hostile. They remain when they call up and they, please, please, we want to
trade with you, sir, we want to trade with you, sir. They make so much money with us and we're going to
See that they make a lot less. I want no business with them.
Oh, all right. So he made it really, really clear. He's going to end all trade with Spain.
So this was yesterday. You know, this is the fast news cycle. People, you got to keep up,
you got to keep up, you got to keep up. Okay. So now, fast forward to today. This is a big victory
once again for Donald Trump, the United States of America, because listen to what he says here.
Here he is on the plane. Question is, which plane was it? That's a whole separate.
conversation, but you know, he had to change planes. There were some issues, according to Secret
Service, about the security. He is not admitted to that, but nonetheless, I digress. We can talk
about that later if you want. Here is Donald Trump on the plane back to D.C. talking about
Spain and what Spain has decided to do as a result of a little bit of pressure.
You had issues with, you said you had issues with leaders of Spain, UK.
Spain, I will say, I did have issues.
Also Germany.
And I still do.
But Spain that came back all the way today.
Spain was very generous today.
You know, I told him I'm going to stop training.
What did Spain do there?
They made, they honored a request for lots of payments.
And if they didn't, we wouldn't even talk to them.
They were very bad.
They behaved very badly, in my opinion.
But it was great unity in that room today, the NATO room.
It was pretty much, pretty amazing actually.
There was something very good about it.
I actually wish the press was able to stay.
Now, they may have been different if the press was there,
but it was tremendous unity and togetherness.
It was quite nice.
Oh, you see, because just a short time ago,
this is what they were looking at.
Trump was ordering, as I said, an entire halt to all trading with Spain.
He said, we're not even going to travel there.
So we get two bases that are kind of important, Rota and Morone.
Don't forget, Spain has called our war.
with Iran, illegal, illegal, unjust. And, well, you know, if we really want to be honest about it,
let's not forget, they seem to be in bed with the Iranians, all right? Little Pedro Sanchez,
he's got a big television network or some kind of media, I guess it's mostly online these days,
network that is all in Spanish, but is run by the Ayatollah. It's in Spain. All right? So that's, you know,
that's kind of a big deal. They don't have freedom of speech, but some,
somehow the Ayatollah gets to get in there and have his little network.
And so what you see is public opinion is actually very sympathetic with the Iranian,
so much so that when Pedro Sanchez was sending his message, right, to the world,
where he was like, oh, illegal, unjust, somehow, you know, we're going to be held accountable.
He said, anybody who supports the U.S. should be held accountable.
Think about those words.
They were very, very strong words.
And so what did Iran do? Iran put his name with a big thank you on one of their first drones that they were sending over into Israel. I mean, this is weird stuff, okay? Weird, weird stuff. And I, you know, it was a bit of a propaganda move, of course, by them. But they wanted to highlight the reality, which we had already picked up on here on the Trish Regan show, you and me and the team, that,
Spain is very, very sympathetic to Iran and not in ways that would be beneficial, shall we say, for modern society.
I mean, it's like they never learn, right? You can go all the way back to the days of the Moors, for goodness sakes.
They've had some challenges in the past. You'd think they'd recognize that.
Anyway, he's saying, look, it's going to be over.
And by the way, just so you know, I can take all my troops and go home.
We don't have to spend any money. We could remove all of our soldiers out of Europe.
because as you probably noticed, Europe's a very different place than it was 20 years ago.
A lot different, much different.
It's a much different, and they better be careful with immigration and energy.
If they're not careful with those two things, you're not going to have a Europe anymore.
And he's right, right?
So immigration is one of the big challenges.
Again, you have a lot of migrants coming in to Spain in particular.
I was just recently traveling there.
I was reporting from there for you guys.
I'll be back overseas in a few weeks.
We're going to have to move the show earlier.
I think we might have to shoot for like 11 a.m.
For those of you listening right now to the team,
when I'm overseas, we're going to have to kind of rejigger things
because it's going to be late there in my time, right?
There's six hours ahead.
Anyway, when I was overseas, I was like, this is unbelievable.
Santas just led him 500,000 migrants.
And a lot of them were from these Middle Eastern sort of struggling nations
in parts of Africa.
So Islam is seemingly taken over the whole joint.
So yes, immigration is a problem.
Yes, they think that they can dictate to us what's going on,
but here's the harsh, cruel reality.
They can't, okay?
They can't.
And so because he is now threatened Spain
with the removal of Spain as our trading partner,
that actually threatens all of Europe altogether.
And so that's why you've got the other European
probably calling them up and saying, okay, you've gone too far. You have gone too far this time.
Okay, we get it. Last time around, we gave you a past. You didn't want to do the 2% of GDP.
Oh, little one, 5%. What am I saying? They were upping it to 5%. And he was like, I'm not going to sign on.
And they got like a special exemption for Spain. Why would they get that? Why should they get that?
They don't deserve it. And so now things are changing because, yes, he's caving. He reads the
handwriting on the wall. And you're playing in the big leagues. Okay? You're.
You're playing in the big leagues and you're going to have to get used to. Also, I just want to point out, by the way, reminder to subscribe if you would. If you're listening right now, please do me in that favor and spread the word. Tell your friends. Share the links. So they all see it. It's important to point out that Spain's economy is so interlinked with the rest of Europe that you would risk all of Europe having to shut Spain out. Now, they don't want to do that. Not that it's a huge economy, but there are actually strategic national security
reasons for all of Europe to want to have that presence in Spain. I cited yesterday, Rota and Morone,
and we've talked about those before, but they're actually very strategic because they're right
next to the Strait of Gibraltar and the Strait of Gibraltar will lead you through the
Mediterranean into the Middle East. And so you want to have a position there. So this is where,
yes, it's tough for us too, but we're kind of like, listen, Spain, you're not playing ball.
You seem to like Iran better than you like us. So that's not really working out for us. It didn't
work out so well for Georgia Maloney and she was friends with us, right? So when you try to pull this,
it's not going over so well. You know what else is not going over so well? More on Denmark today,
more on Greenland. He is not giving up. The president is like a dog with a bone. He wants control
of Greenland. Full stop. All right? And he's not going to take no for an answer, no matter how much
Denmark tries to twist this around. It's just not getting anywhere. I want to go to a comment here.
Here's a reporter asking, again, this is from the plane on the way home. Are you going to pull more
troops out of Europe? And look at how he pivots here, right into Greenland. Here we go. Take a listen.
trips out of Europe and so how many and where is it?
I haven't made that final.
A lot's going to depend on Greenland and a lot.
A lot, I mean, you know, make a very good deal on Greenland.
And if we don't, maybe I will.
And a lot's dependent on Iran.
I mean, they want to help now.
You know, it's a little later.
I think essentially there's not that much fighting to be done.
But some will depend on Iran, you know.
When they had a chance and opportunity to help, they chose not to do so.
But we're sort of forgetting about that.
And now they want to help.
They all want to go in.
They want to help.
They want to rent so badly.
But we don't really need help.
It's little things.
But we don't really need help.
So what do you think?
Do we get control of Greenland?
He's saying that the whole fight really started over Greenland.
And I think that's sort of amazing.
I'm adding a poll to the United.
the discussion right now. We can check it at the end of the show to see where you all come out on
this. But do we get Greenland? I'm going to tell you my view. Can I vote in my own poll? I don't even
know. I think we are going to get it. I think that he is determined and he's furious that he can't
have a bigger presence there because, listen, when push comes to shove, who's going to be responsible?
We are. Okay, we always are. And this would be such an easy one. They only have 50 some odd thousand
and people there, heck, we could buy it.
Give them all a couple million bucks and it's ours, right?
800,000 plus acres of ice.
But access to important mining reserves there,
access to the Arctic, which is so critical.
And even from a space perspective, right,
you want some of the satellites that are going to be,
and even, shall I say, from a shipping perspective,
because eventually one assumes that ice melts, right?
if you believe it's better. The left should love this, right? The global warming stuff. If that ice melts,
then guess what? That's going to open a whole area for China and Russia to be going right back and
forth and they could shut us out of that. We don't want to get shut out of that. So again,
you've got to think five steps ahead here. And that is what he's doing. Thinking five steps
ahead and Denmark really does not like this. Not at all, right? Greenland, he said. That's actually
the sticking point that started the whole problem in the relationship with Europe overall. It actually
wasn't NATO spending. It was Greenland, he says.
With respect to what?
Well, that's what hurt my relationship with NATO. Because Greenland doesn't help Denmark.
Denmark doesn't spend money to really help Greenland, but it's an important part for the United
States. And it's surrounded by China ships and Russian ships. And that's not going to happen.
and the ships is not going to happen.
It was Greenland that, and it continues to be,
that should be controlled by the United States, not by Denmark.
And when they wouldn't go along with it,
and with all the money we spend to help them with Russia,
and we don't have to spend any money,
we could remove all of our soldiers out of Europe.
This spring, denim gets a softer, lighter update,
introducing Old Navy's drapey denim wide-leg,
a new fit that moves with you.
It's everything you want denim to feel like for summer.
Easy, breathable, and effortlessly cool.
With a fit that creates natural movement and a wide leg that feels modern, not overwhelming.
Plus, that signature, wait, for this price, moment.
Old Navy's drapey denim wide leg.
Yeah.
How do you like that, guys?
So you see, that's what you call the trump card.
I want to keep you up to date with what Denmark has been saying,
as well as what Greenland has been saying.
so Greenland, I should say. Denmark's like, no, no, no, no, you had the prime minister coming out
just yesterday. Officials pushing back firmly on this saying, no, no, there's sovereignty here.
They're noting some ongoing diplomatic talks, however, they are still aiming for a deal.
I told you about this a while ago. They do have diplomatic talks that are going on because they
want some kind of cooperation with the security. I don't think it's going to be enough for him.
I think he's going to just say, listen, I want it, or I want a certain territory within it.
And so he's really pushing hard.
And so what's fascinating is Denmark is saying, well, no, no, we're talking.
We're talking.
We've got these talks going on.
And they think that those talks are going to be enough.
They want to lock down these bases.
The U.S. is locking down these bases.
Maybe if you give us those territories, it will work.
I'm not sure.
I think he wants the entire kitten caboodle.
So I think it's interesting that Denmark has a somewhat muted response saying,
hey, we're talking, we're talking, we're trying to get the territories.
Greenland's response, meanwhile, this is.
it would be Prime Minister Nielsen saying that, quote, Greenland is not for sale. Oh, well, there goes
my idea of paying everybody a couple million bucks, right? I think the people might say, gee, I'd like
that money. Thank you very much. Again, there's only 57,000 or so of them. That's a very doable kind
of scenario, I think. But Friedrichson saying, Fredrickson, yeah, I got that right,
pushing back on this saying, no, no, no, no, or that would be the Denmark person, Friedrichson saying,
no, no, no, no, no, no. We're actually working towards security and cooperation while Greenland is
saying it's absolutely not for sale. Okay, all right. But it doesn't change the fact that this
president is saying it is critical for our long-term interests and it's critical for world
interests to have an investment there in Greenland. So this keeps coming up, keeps coming up, keeps coming up,
I showed you this yesterday. This cracked me up because the Danes sent in their reporter. They got a Danish
reporter that they sent in to kind of torment the ambassador to NATO, Mark Ruta, who stood next
to the president, as the president was saying, I want Greenland. And so they kind of tried to make
him feel small and little because of this. The Danish reporter did. They started this person,
he, not they, well, you never know. It's Denmark. He started by saying, Mark, which was a direct
sort of, you know, the Europeans, they're still kind of formal, and this is a formal event,
and he is the ambassador to NATO.
So you'd think that you would say something a little bit more formal.
No, no, no, no, no.
Here we go.
Mark, says the Danish reporter.
Oh, and it just kept unraveling from there.
Mark, you sit next to Donald Trump in moments where he talks about conquering Greenland,
talks about lashing out at allies like Spain, starting trade wars.
Things that it doesn't seem like the old Mark Roder would approve of.
Does this have any effect on your self-respect?
when you sit next to him like that and say nothing?
You know, what I always do is acknowledge when praise is Jew,
and I think we should praise Donald Trump for the fact that NATO is so much stronger.
Of course it has to do with the Russian threat.
It has to do with the war in Ukraine,
but it's very much also to do with President Trump delivering now
what since Eisenhower, the United States tried to achieve
equalizing spending between the U.S. and Europe.
And it makes Europe stronger.
makes Europe more relevant for the United States as a partner. So that is the transformative
character of this summit of what happened in the Hague, the implementation since the Hague,
this summit as a point in time where we take stock and I think that is extremely important.
And when it comes to Greenland, I already explained. We had the meeting in Davos. And I said,
I agree with you. When it comes to Russia, when it comes to China, gaining access to the high
north but let's do this together we have nato for this let's work together on this this is exactly
what we're doing okay i kind of think he showed him a little bit i kind of think he put the danish
reporter in his place because the reality is the proof is there that this is working and here's the
the other reality you will have a stronger better nato and a stronger better europe as a result
of them all coming to the table and you know pulling their their funds together to have something
a little bit more real it is well overdue everybody's wanted it
right? Everybody's wanted it. And yet only Donald Trump has really been able to get it. Just incredible,
really, really incredible. One of the things Donald Trump keeps warning about, obviously,
with Europe, and he has warned, of course, here in the U.S., is that the problems of immigration,
the problems of energy. In other words, had we continued down this path that the left wanted us on,
it almost makes you wonder, really, who was pushing them? Because, like, it defies logic, guys.
it defies logic. If you are not willing to drill here in the US of A, then you have to become
dependent on the Middle East. If you're not willing to drill, you know, off the coast of the UK
where you do have oil and they're not willing to, then yes, you become more and more dependent
on the natural gas you're going to get either from Russia, who's not exactly your friend.
No, in fact, that's apparently the boogeyman, right, for you guys in the UK.
So Russia's not going to work, and then you got to rely on Iran.
So that's part of why they're so upset, right?
Because they figured Iran was their salvation there.
And now that the Strait of Hormuz is closing down, well, it's getting scarier and
scary and scarier for them.
Well, let me tell you who it's getting scarier and scarier and scarier for.
The Pentagon just released this video, 80, no, forgive me, 90 targets.
This is an addition to the 80 targets that they hit last night.
Take a look at this.
Wow. Here we go. Wow. Okay, so again, this video just coming in from the Pentagon,
there was a similar video that we saw the night before. So you've had all of these targets.
80 the day before, as Trump called off, they were kind of retaliatory, if you would,
because they had come after three vessels, commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
And so the Pentagon came back hard.
The administration said, that's it.
You've got no more ability to sell your oil.
We're going to put the sanctions back on.
So Treasury got involved.
This was all coming to a head.
And then yesterday, the President of the United States,
telling reporters that that deals over, right?
You've got a bunch of scumbags, and these scumbags are doing bad things.
And because we can't allow for that, well, guess what?
we are going to take them on in an even bigger way.
So he said, hey, watch out.
You know, I think, do we play that yesterday?
I don't want to keep replaying sound for you.
He did actually say today as well.
He came out today and said that they are, you know, just awful.
Apparently he is, you know, the one they want to get, of course,
which may have something to do with that switcheroo on the planes
because Secret Service is very vigilant in light of everything that's been happening.
but I would say, look, yeah, maybe we're going to have higher oil prices for this foreseeable future.
But if we allow that to mess up the direction we're heading and then they win, right?
That's what they want.
Why do you think they do this?
Because these are people that never want to stop fighting, okay?
Never ever want to stop fighting.
I mean, I think it's kind of optimistic to think you can get any version of the IRGC to do anything you want.
The president believes, and knowing him as I do, I mean,
He's told me himself, these people are never going to change.
They've been fighting for thousands of years and they're going to keep fighting for thousands of years
and I'm not going to lose one American life on it.
Direct quote, he said that to me.
So he understands that.
But I think there's a part of him that wants to believe that there are rational individuals,
rational individuals that would like to engage in a more prosperous economy
and a more prosperous opportunity for themselves in a more prosperous world
because as soon as you're able to sell that oil without all the sanctions,
then guess what? You're part of the world economy. You get a little bit respect, maybe.
And yet none of these IRGC crazies are willing to do the right thing. Instead, they start this again.
Now, maybe it's their mosaic style of warfare. Maybe they're saying, oh, well, we're not responsible.
We're not responsible. Okay, well, then who the heck is? Like, how are you going to get control over this one?
Because we're not going to put up with it.
the American people saying, oh, you know, gas prices are high, I get it. It's not fun. It's not good.
It's not easy. And don't think I'm, I'm underestimating the pain that people feel from that
in any way, shape, or form. But I'm also saying we can't allow for this country to be able to
dictate our future, which is why you need those pipelines. Okay, you need the pipelines. You need
workarounds. Fast. Get building on those. Do more. Whatever you can. I mean, UK, you got oil.
start trailing for it, for goodness sakes. The US of A, we got it. We need to keep allowing for more
and more permits to be happening here in the U.S. This is a no-brainer. And yet you got the liberals
out there in crazy California trying to refuse all this. Oh boy, yeah. Well, we'll see how long
this lasts. Gavin Newsom under new pressure today. He just came out moments ago and is saying
that the attack on him, the federal investigation into him and his wife is nothing but pure politics.
Okay, good luck with this one, Gavin. Remember he came out recently a couple of weeks ago?
And he was trying to get ahead of the story. But here's the reality of it, guys, and I don't want you to forget this.
You want to know who actually started this investigation into Gavin Newsom's office?
You want to know who had the woman wearing the wire in Gavin Newsom's office,
one of his top staffers, wore that wire since 2024.
She was wearing the wire before Donald Trump was elected.
That was Biden's DOJ.
So this investigation started long before Donald Trump.
So Gavin can try and make it as political as he wants.
It's not getting anywhere.
Take a listen to him here today.
Not much more than has already been provided.
I mean, this is purely political.
You've seen some of the reporting.
I'm not sure maybe you guys have reported it as well.
People have stated pretty clearly that they were directed to find something.
To find something.
Just directed.
Find something.
It says everything you need to know about the United States of America under Donald Trump.
And so we continue to, you know,
maintain vigilance as it relates to the, just weaponization by the Department of Justice
and other power ministries under the Trump administration.
And a lot has been reported, and I don't have much more to add,
except it's pretty disgraceful.
Okay.
Here's a reporter.
It's kind of hard to hear them asking another question, let's see if he answers.
Well, that was table stakes.
And it's pretty obvious that I'm not timid as it relates to calling out the abuses of the most corrupt administration in American history.
What more evidence did you need than the tax returns that he just put out the $2.2 billion in income that Donald Trump has received?
Oh, yeah, okay, so he's going back to the – by the way, I don't think the income is going to be as high as it once was because have you seen the price of Bitcoin lately?
Okay, so some of the crypto gains are not going to be there anymore.
So, Gavin, you know, that argument may not fly as long as you're hoping it will.
And I'm sure Trump would love if it was still flying because who wouldn't want to have made $2.2 billion.
Anyway, what's being investigated?
There are reports that there were some sort of skeptical personal finances between the Newsom's.
Jennifer Siebel Newsom's taxes and charity work, the California,
partners project, for example, as well as related donor state contract issues. One thread
that keeps coming up is tying the former chief of staff, Dana Williamson's corruption case,
specifically to Newsom. And so we have the woman that decided to wear the wire, right? The woman
that wore the wire recorded Newsom for like the last two years. And so one would presume the FBI is
looking into that and listening to that and listening to all of the,
conversations and they're trying to figure out whether or not he had any involvement with
the chief of Staffan and some of her skeptical stuff. Right? Skeptical stuff. Like I, you know,
innocent till proven guilty, but you know, it is California after all. I just want to go out
to some of your your questions and comments. Yeah, James Franklin saying the wife got the money.
She's busted. I don't know. Like here's what I would say. You've got to be careful in politics.
This leads us back to Ilhan Omar, right, and her hubby,
because that hobby was working for Ilhan,
was getting paid nearly $3 million to run her congressional campaign,
which is totally unheard of.
And so one would have to think that anybody contributing to the campaign
is contributing to his salary.
And by the way, by contributing to his salary,
you're contributing to her money pop because it all goes, you know,
to the same household.
So think about how that could actually work.
If you are the guy that owns the restaurant,
that then becomes one of the biggest players in $250 million scandal feeding our future scandal,
if you're the one who's close to her campaign and you're hosting her victory party,
are you also donating a lot of money in order to help pay his salary?
I mean, these are questions they've got to look into.
They've got to look into it.
and it's sort of frustrating that it's taking so long to get there. Oh my gosh, Zadies, I love you.
What a kind, kind thing to say. Make sure you keep spreading the word. It's hard lately, right?
And I'm like, gosh, I guess not everybody's interested in Charlie Kirk today because I'm looking at
our live feed. Of course, it is July. It is July and it's been hard to get the word out. So whatever
you guys can do. So many of you have said to me as well that you're not getting the alerts,
that you're not getting the alerts for the lives. And that's so strange.
to me. Maybe they think that you're not, you know, interested in this topic. I don't know. But you're
always here. So somehow you do manage to find me. That's why I wanted to give you a heads up.
We're going to move to probably 11 a.m. East Coast time because it will be later in the day,
probably like five o'clockish for me when I'm overseas. Anyway, thank you for the kind comments.
I really do appreciate it. It is good to have you here, as always. Thank you for all you do.
and I will be back with you tomorrow.
I do hope that justice gets served in Charlie Kirk's case.
Just a really great guy, and it's so surreal that all that happened.
I'm still so stunned by it and so hurt by all of it.
But, you know, we've got a lot of work to do,
and we've got to stop this hate.
We really have to stop this hate.
I really wish people would be kinder, right, and more accepting.
It's tough.
Anyway, great to have you here.
I'll see you back here, live on the Trish Regan Show tomorrow.
