Starting point is 00:00:01 And Tonya Whoopi Goldberg is really, really desperate. She must really need that job on Disney's The View because she's saying things that, well, let's just say, we wouldn't expect one Whoopi Goldberg to ever say we're going to get to that. Plus, whoa, Donald Trump just laying down the law threatening Gitmo. He's opening up to 30,000 criminal migrants watch. Today, I'm also signing an executive order to instruct the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. to begin preparing the 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay. Most people don't even know about it.
Starting point is 00:00:38 We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people. Some of them are so bad. We don't even trust the countries to hold them. We're going to get into all that. He's like too bad. You think the punishment's too bad? Tough. Tough. He's also saying tough to all the federal workers that don't think that they have to come to work in Washington, D.C. anymore. DC anymore. Did you know that only 6% of the people that are working for the federal government in Washington, D.C. actually come to the office?
Starting point is 00:01:08 I mean, it's costing us hundreds of billions of dollars. Donald Trump's like, yeah, I'm not having it. We're going to get into all of that. But first, whoopi Goldberg really does seem a bit desperate here. I mean, for her to say what she said on today's show, all I can think of is they've really gotten to her. Like, they're taking her aside and they're like, whoopey, Donald Trump really, really, really doesn't believe you should be on the air. And by the way, I'd be with Donald Trump on that because
Starting point is 00:01:35 she's been wildly irresponsible along with Rachel Maddo and a few others, Joy Reid, I'm looking at you. Anyway, Joy Behar too, over there on the view, wildly irresponsible. And yet, you know, she still has a job. Like, that show is still on the air and you say to yourself, how can that be? And I think it's a fair question to ask, in light of the FCC being the one to give the ABC license to all the local affiliates all over the country. And I think that that's actually, now that Donald Trump is in the White House, very much in jeopardy. Now that Brendan Carr has head of the FCC, very much in jeopardy.
Starting point is 00:02:10 And even when you consider little things around the edges like the fact that Elon Musk is so close to Donald Trump, and Elon Musk really has no use for one, Bob Iger. That would be the CEO of Disney. That would be the company that owns ABC News. You know, Iger has already said he wants to sell ABC News. apparently nobody wants to buy it because he hasn't found a buyer yet because these numbers don't work right we've been through that before that is the media that is dead this is the media that is alive and well and continuing to thrive and will grow i mean you saw the news just yesterday my gosh
Starting point is 00:02:44 the white house is opening up the press briefings to all those podcasters streamers and influencers out there people who had previously been shunned by the likes the mainstream media well whoopi goldberg On her last go around here, it really is. I mean, I don't know how she's going to keep this job. She's suddenly trying to sound a very different tune. This is all, you know, as ICE is rounding up criminals, rounding up migrants, sending planes of them back to Colombia, to Mexico, et cetera. And here's Whoopi.
Starting point is 00:03:16 Is she actually agreeing with President Trump? That's how bad it must be for Whoopi Goldberg. Money's on the line here, and apparently money talks. 7% support deporting criminal undocumented virus. Yes. I don't know anybody in the world. Yeah, I don't know anybody in the world who wants to keep the criminals. I don't know anybody.
Starting point is 00:03:37 That's what you should be focused. Woo! Okay, should we play that again? I'll just quote it for you. I know you don't really want to watch her. She said, I don't know anyone in the world that doesn't want to deport the criminals. Goodness gracious, Whoopi Goldberg. That certainly sounds a very, like a different world.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Whoopi Goldberg. I mean, it's like we get schizophrenia or something. Who's on TV today over there on the view? This Whoopi Goldberg is very different, but this is the Whoopi Goldberg that is the pragmatic business woman, I guess, who recognizes that she needs a paycheck every Friday because they're threatening to get rid of ABC. In fact, Brennan Carr has reinstated all of these lawsuits, all of these complaints, I should say. And don't forget, Donald Trump has some lawsuits. He's got lots of lawsuits. He just settled one with ABC News to the tune of some $16 million and what just crossed right before I came to air? Forgive the delay. This little number. What do you know? Here, let's see if we can get that on the screen straight. Breaking news. Donald Trump
Starting point is 00:04:48 signing an agreement that would require Meta, that is Facebook, to pay 25 million dollars to settle a lawsuit the president sued in 2021 after his accounts were suspended. This is a big deal. You know, I think shareholders are going to go, whew, because, you know, you don't want to be on the wrong side of this president necessarily. And how could he not Mark Zuckerberg be on the wrong side of the president, given what went down? I'm wondering if I should sue, because there was like a year, an entire year where I was not allowed access to my audience because I dared to share a story on one Joe Biden. Seriously, how crazy is that? Think about that guys. I mean, they were just, brutal, brutal, brutal, brutal.
Starting point is 00:05:28 It's why I'm happy to be over here. I'm happy that all of you are subscribed. Make sure you subscribe. Do you mean that favor. It's actually really important, so you know when I'm here, hit the bell, all that good stuff. But basically, META has agreed to pay roughly $25 million to settle this 21 lawsuit from President Trump that he brought against the CEO and against the social media platform after they
Starting point is 00:05:48 suspended his account. Now, of that, $22 million will go to fund Trump's presidential library with the rest going to legal fees and to other plaintiffs who signed onto the case. Meta will not admit any wrongdoing, interestingly, in this. Trump signed the settlement agreement Wednesday in the Oval Office, and according to the Wall Street Journal, Meta has no comment. I mean, think of what they did. Think of how crazy that was.
Starting point is 00:06:17 I mean, thank goodness. Elon came out and bought Twitter. We might really be up a creek without a paddle. speech matters, does it not? I will say. Credit to the folks over here at YouTube. Again, a reminder, please subscribe and share and like and all that good stuff. Hit the bell. They have been absolutely wonderful. Look at what we're doing. I mean, maybe we should have more in terms of audience. You know, I always want more, but we're like 550,000. And that's from me probably about a year and a half, almost two years ago, saying, okay, we're going to start doing this show every single day
Starting point is 00:06:52 live. Maybe it was a year and a half ago. And so I'm just so blown away by the success we've had. But what's amazing to me is that they got away with doing that. They got away with doing that for so long. And that's what we have to prevent in the future. We need to make sure that there is freedom of the press there. So whoopey Goldberg, okay, you can say whatever you want. I don't think you have to say what the Trump administration wants you to say. But what I would say is you need to be responsible. in this business actually really does matter. You cannot be so careless. I mean, think of how responsible, frankly, some of us streamers have been over here in independent MediaVille. We've been very responsible. Often, that's what gets us in trouble being so responsible, because
Starting point is 00:07:41 there's a narrative that you're supposed to spout, a narrative that they want. For example, the narrative of the 51x spooks that say, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, you're not allowed to talk about the Hunter Biden laptop. You're not allowed to talk about that virus haven't come from Wuhan, China. Now, what do you know? The CIA just admit it. You got John Radcliffe running the show over there. So things are coming out. But if it weren't for some of us that were willing to take those risks, and, you know, look, I'm sort of a poster child for that because I used to have a nice little, I guess you could call it plum gig. I worked really hard. I wrote the show entirely myself. I did have some very good producers, but over at Fox. And look,
Starting point is 00:08:22 the reality is I think we overreacted in 2020 and I went right on the air in real time and said it. Nobody else was willing to do that. I was and I'll continue doing that because this is what's right. And we need more people that are willing to take those risks. I get it. You know, maybe I'm a little luckier I can take some of these risks, but you need to foster and create an environment where people are willing to say the truth and seek the truth. And we just haven't had that.
Starting point is 00:08:52 you've got these idiots on the view that are still actually amazingly in business, although perhaps not for long. I really do think that Whoopi Goldberg is now having this sort of moment where she's meeting with producers regularly and they're like, hey, hey, hey, hey, let's let Sonny go there. Let's let Joy go there. Let's let anybody but you, because for some reason, you, lady, are the lightning rod. We have more on this Gitmo coming up. We've got more Captain America who's trying to respond to his critics after he trash talked America. Really great for Captain America, right? First, a word from one of our great sponsors, American Heart for Gold. You know, I am a big believer in diversification. I'm a big believer in making
Starting point is 00:09:35 sure that my dollars are worth more when I want to retire. Because if I don't actually make sure that they're worth whatever they are in whatever years, dollars, then, oh, gosh, you know, I'm really up a creek without a paddle. It's one of the big reasons why. I invest in gold. It's a big part of my diversification play, and I think it should be part of yours as well. I look at gold. Every time it goes down a little bit, I actually always try and add. I always say, I wish I had more. I wish I had more. Well, not only can you have gold, but you can actually get some free silver, up to $15,000 with free silver of free silver at American Heart for Gold, one of our great show sponsors here. Just go to trishlovesgold.com today, or text Trish to 65532.
Starting point is 00:10:20 So this is something else. Donald Trump said he meant business. Donald Trump wasn't kidding when he said he was going to round up all the criminals and send him to Gitmo. He really wasn't kidding. And today in his speech, celebrating the Lake and Riley Act, talking about the importance of this act, guess what he said. It's on. Guantanamo Bay is on. Watch this clip.
Starting point is 00:10:46 Today I'm also signing an executive order to instruct the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to begin preparing the 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay. Most people don't even know about it. We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people. Some of them are so bad we don't even trust the countries to hold them because we don't want them coming back, so we're going to send them out to Guantanamo. This will double our capacity immediately, right? tough. That's a tough place to get out of.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Today's signings bring us one step closer to eradicating the scourge of migrant crime in our communities once and for all. It was just a purely, it's just an unforced error that we even have to be doing this. Now we need Congress to provide full funding for the complete
Starting point is 00:11:40 and total restoration of our sovereign borders as well as financial support to remove record numbers of illegal aliens. So you can anticipate that the mainstream media is absolutely going to freak out. This is not what they want to hear. It shouldn't be a surprise. This is what he's talked about.
Starting point is 00:12:00 And gosh darn it, we just had to listen to Whoopi Goldberg, say, well, of course nobody wants the criminals. To be exact, I think it's like 87% of Americans do not want the criminals here. I kind of wonder about those who say, yeah, bring them on. I mean, you really want them? You want criminals? I'll tell you. These numbers are really quite startling. I took a look here. As of July 21st, 2024, ICE reported that there were nearly 650,000 non-citizens with criminal convictions or pending charges on the docket. I mean, this is bad. And you've got nearly 15,000 with such serious offenses as homicide. We're talking murder, sexual assault, around 20,000
Starting point is 00:12:42 individuals. Guys, like, this should not be. be that contentious an issue. And yet it is. Oh, you better believe it is. In fact, when I went to find these numbers, I went to chat GPT because it was just faster. I'm like, you know, I can poke around ICE's website, but I know I read it in an ICE report. And so I didn't have the report handy. I went to find it. And so I kept asking, so I was asking for a very specific question, how many of these illegal migrants in the country are deemed to be criminals or have, you? have criminal records. And guess what I got back? The vast majority of immigrants in the U.S., including both legal and undocumented migrants, are not. It's highlighted. They wrote not
Starting point is 00:13:27 criminals in highlighted, bolded letters. Multiple studies in government data have shown that immigrants, regardless of their legal status, commit crimes at lower rates than Native-born Americans, key findings, and then they cite some stuff from Cato. They cite the federal prison population. Of course, you know, they have these convictions and then they go free. So apparently they never actually make it to the prison itself. That may be why those records are kind of slim. But what was just shocking to me is how it was so important to tell me they are not criminals. And I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:02 Can you just answer the question? And then I got the report that I was looking for, $650,000. All right, so if you're Lake and Riley's family, it doesn't matter if it's one or $650,000, you've lost your daughter to an illegal criminal. We have a crisis in our nation where we are struggling with inflation, we are struggling with health care, we're struggling with overcrowded schools. How do we provide the resources to the world? How do we welcome in?
Starting point is 00:14:38 What are the numbers? I mean, there's massive estimates. It's 11 to 20 million. a guess of people that have been pouring in, how do we accommodate them while still making sure that we're accommodating ourselves, especially when they're not actually registered into the system and therefore aren't paying taxes and therefore aren't part of the mainstream economy? We have to provide all the benefits? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:15:04 I really don't think so. And so, as Donald Trump said, like, look, you know, this may be tough, but this is the reality now. So if you're here and you're here illegally, the White House has a message for you. Ice has a message for you. You may just be going to Gitmo. Here's Caroline Levitt. She got just torn up to shreds by the mainstream media for this. I'm going to tell you why in just a moment. It's so insane that people are freaking out because this didn't used to be this way. But here's Caroline Levitt, your new press secretary of the United States of America. 500 arrests ICE has made so far since President Trump came back into office. Can you just tell us the numbers? How many have a criminal record? How many have a criminal
Starting point is 00:15:42 versus those who are just in the country illegally. All of them because they illegally broke our nation's laws and therefore they are criminals as far as this administration goes. I know the last administration didn't see it that way, so it's a big culture shift in our nation to view someone who breaks our immigration laws as a criminal, but that's exactly what they are. They're going to the worst first. They all have a criminal record. If they broke our nation's laws, yes, they are a criminal, yes. It needed to be said. All right, so you broke the law because you're here illegally, which, which is, you're here illegally, which is, you're here,
Starting point is 00:16:11 which would be certainly a problem. And by the way, this didn't used to be such an issue. I mean, just go back a few years to a pre-Trump political environment. I can think of one Barack Obama who was doing a lot. I mean, look at this. He was sending him back. ABC News. Obama has deported more people than any other president.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Gosh, what do you know? Or how about this one? U.S. deportations of immigrants reached record high in 2013 under Barack Obama. Okay, so he had no problem deporting people. Yeah, nobody reacted the way they're reacting to Donald Trump. What do you think that's about? I mean, that's TDS once again. But here's Obama saying, you know what?
Starting point is 00:17:02 You can't be here illegally. Plain and simple. Enough said. If you're a criminal, you'll be deported. If you plan to enter the U.S. illegally, your chances of getting caught and sent back just went up. The actions I'm taking are not only lawful. They're the kinds of actions taken by every single Republican president and every single Democratic president for the past half century. And to those members of Congress who questioned my authority to make our immigration system work better or question the wisdom of me acting where Congress has failed, I have one answer.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Pass a bill. All right. So there's nothing there that is preventing Donald Trump from sending these prisoners, criminals, to a federal prison. I mean, I guess you could get on a plane and go back to Colombia or go back to Mexico. But constitutionally, he has total jurisdiction here. I mean, I know Letitia would like to think otherwise, but let me assure you, even chat GPT agrees with that one. He's got total jurisdiction because we have this thing called the Constitution. If there's one power that the federal government has, it is power over its borders. It's why Texas was running into problems, guys.
Starting point is 00:18:20 All right, here's Hillary Clinton. She actually used to understand that there was a difference between being here legally or illegally back in the day all the way back in 2003. We've got to do several things, and I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants. I made this exception basically on humanitarian grounds because of the individual story. individual stories, but certainly we've got to do more at our borders. Yes, she said, I am adamantly, adamantly she wants you to know against illegal immigration. And yet, you have these people over there on the view, these women that want to politicize this
Starting point is 00:19:01 in a way that is just not healthy. I mean, we'll go back to Barack Obama, okay? He told you the lay of the land. So, Sunny, I get that, you know, you live a different lifestyle and you live in your doorman building in New York City with your security downstairs, and you're not up against the same threats as maybe a small family living on the border in Texas. But let me tell you, this is not wrong what he's doing. Not wrong at all. And there are actually even humanitarian reason for one to be considering turning these people away because you don't want to send false signals, thereby putting their children potentially at risk. What do you think? A family's trying to send their child here, and then the child gets put into the hands of traffickers? I'm sorry,
Starting point is 00:19:45 but listen, there is something called the law of unintended consequences. We can't do it. But 87% support deporting criminal undocumented virus. If he's focused on the world, yeah, I don't know anybody in the world who wants to keep the criminals. I don't know anybody. That's what you should be focused. Can I say something because, you know, we keep on talking about criminals and immigrants being criminals. And I just want people to understand what the facts are and the stats are, is that undocumented immigrants are much less likely to have committed crimes than American citizens. American citizens commit more crimes than anyone who is undocumented.
Starting point is 00:20:29 I also want to make the point that an undocumented immigrant is not a person. a criminal because he or she is undocumented. That is a civil offense. So to call people illegal is in and of itself, I think xenophobic and racist. I do. And incorrect. I mean, like you see how crazy this is getting? I guess Chat GPD got to her too. It is racist to call someone an illegal that's here illegally. I mean, wow. Like, you know, this is, this is what they do. They like tie you knots. Like, suddenly words have different meetings. Like, you're here legally or you're not legally here. I mean, you're illegal, all right, which puts you in violation of the law, which means they can get
Starting point is 00:21:22 ready to. They can send you to Guantanamo Bay. Mudwistle, I know you want me to read that out. and thank you for your generosity with your super chat. But I'm not going to say that on air. I am going to call attention to your funny message. Yes, I'm not a fan of Whoopi Goldberg either. I'm laughing at it, though. You definitely got my attention. Listen, guys, this is bonger.
Starting point is 00:21:52 So they're going to continue to try and give this narrative. Oh, my gosh, this is terrible. In fact, there's this reporter over on PBS. guys, a reporter on PBS, which means you're helping to pay her salary. Julia Galliano, I had never heard of her before, but she's out there saying, oh my gosh, well, Mexico can't take them back? How could Mexico do it? Do you know how difficult this would be to welcome all these people back into the country?
Starting point is 00:22:18 I'm thinking, like, what do you think we've been doing? We've had this difficulty. Why is it on us? It shouldn't be. So here she is talking about Claudia Scheinbaum, who's the new president, super liberal, by the way, of Mexico, who's most likely going to find herself entangled with Donald Trump. She's trying to say she's going to welcome these migrants back, these criminal migrants back, because, well, she has to, or else 25% tariff on you, lady.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Mexico cannot cope. Not sure any country can, but Mexico can't cope with like a sudden influx of millions of people. I mean, as much as she wants to embrace them, to use her word, when they come back and make them feel welcome. It all sounds very nice when you're listening to it, but the reality of that is just completely unsustainable. A lot of these people have lived in the U.S. for decades. They have lives there. They have families. They're good standing citizens.
Starting point is 00:23:10 So they're not in a position to just be deported and say like, oh, okay, well, I'm just going to come back here and take a job making a fraction of what I used to make and go to my town where I don't have anything left, which is made, maybe he's been overrun by violence. I mean, it's just, it's unrealistic to think that that wouldn't lead to a crisis. is okay, yeah, really unrealistic to think that it would not lead to a crisis, but hey, guess what? Guess what? We're the ones stuck with the crisis, and that's what's so messed up. Somehow, it is our responsibility to deal with everyone else. I don't think so, okay? I really don't think so. And that's, it's Mexico's problem. It's not our problem. Fair point. Ed, asking why is it that all Star Trek actors are Marxists? We're going to talk about Captain America coming up. Good to have you here, Ed. Good to have all you guys here. I mean, I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:24:08 Like, why is it our responsibility in all seriousness, our responsibility to have to manage the rest of the world's problems? Guess what, Mexico. If you weren't so socialist, if you actually put in some place, some policies, if you weren't so corrupt, guess what? You might have a good economy too. You got lots of natural resources down there. You get a ton of people. You can do something. Why is it our responsibility? It shouldn't be.
Starting point is 00:24:34 And people used to understand that it wasn't our responsibility, but all of a sudden we're in this brave new world. Well, anything Trump is bad. Therefore, when he says obvious stuff like, hey, we shouldn't have criminals in our country, when ICE reports that there are 650,000 criminals that are here illegally and somehow he's the bad guy, for saying, I don't think that the people signed up for this.
Starting point is 00:24:58 I don't think that we don't want it, okay? We don't want it. And so guess what? Yep, get Moes on the table. I'm also signing an executive order to instruct the departments of defense and homeland security to begin preparing the 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay. Most people don't even know about it. We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens,
Starting point is 00:25:24 threatening the American people. Some of them are so bad, we don't even trust the countries to hold them because we don't want them coming back, so we're going to send them out to Guantanamo. This will double our capacity immediately, right? And tough, that's a tough place to get out of. Today's signings bring us one step closer to eradicating the scourge of migrant crime
Starting point is 00:25:46 in our communities once and for all. And it was just a purely, it's just an unforced error that we even have to be doing this. Now we need Congress to provide full funding for the complete and total restoration of our sovereign borders, as well as financial support to remove record numbers of illegal aliens. And they are record numbers. I mean, this is unbelievable what has happened under President Biden, under Kamala Harris. Nobody wanted more of this.
Starting point is 00:26:17 They voted for this. Again, every single poll shows you the same thing. Americans are actually united on this issue, as well as the issue of the issue of. inflation, right? They want to clean up the border situation. They want to get the criminals out of the country. You have 650,000 criminals. Some of them, we just read the numbers there from ICE, like really, really bad, roughly less than 20,000, but somewhere between, I think it was around 17,000. Let me see, I've got the numbers. Here we go. Look at that. Now, I was, it was 15. 14,944 individuals that have serious offenses like homicide. Another.
Starting point is 00:26:53 nearly 21,000 individuals with serious offenses, 20,000, I should say, 61 individuals with sexual assault offenses. So I don't think you're going to have enough beds at Guantanamo. I mean, like, you're not even going to have enough beds. And I think that at least, let me just say this, at least somebody is doing something about this. Much needed. Donald Trump also causing a stir today a big, big mess because, gosh, he thinks that if you're not going to come to work in Washington, D.C., then you probably shouldn't have a job. He's requiring all federal workers to come back into the office all over the country, by the way, not just Washington, D.C. I pick on Washington, D.C. because it's so obvious there that they got a problem. Only 6% of the people are actually showing up for work.
Starting point is 00:27:50 So he's making a great deal. Hey, you can retire. You can retire. You want to work from home? You go do something else. And guess what? We'll give you eight months. I think it's a pretty good deal for these people that don't like him and don't want to come to work. Just for clarification purposes, because it was incorrectly reported yesterday, we have informed the federal workforce, which they've looked to do for many years, that if they're working for the federal government, they must show up to the office on time and on schedule. We don't want them. We don't want them to work. from home because, as everyone knows, most of the time, they're not working. They're not very
Starting point is 00:28:35 productive. And it's unfair to the millions of people in the United States who are, in fact, working hard from job sites and not from their home. As federal employees, they must meet a high standard. They're representing our government. They're representing our country. If they don't agree by February 6th to show up back to work in their office, they will be terminated. and we will therefore be downscaling our government, which is something that the last 10 presidents have tried very hard to do but failed. Most of the people we're talking about have not been going to their federal offices in many, many years from even before COVID. But they have nevertheless been paid. Some have worked.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Some haven't worked. And most of the studies say that some have just gone through the motions. we may ask these people to prove that they didn't have another job during their so-called employment with the United States of America, because if they did, that would be unlawful, as you understand. A lot of people are getting paychecks, but they're actually working other jobs. So they'll have to prove that to us that they weren't. In any event, we're requiring them to show up to work or be terminated. We think a very substantial number of people will not show up to work,
Starting point is 00:29:56 and therefore our government will get smaller and more efficient, and that's what we've been looking to do for many, many decades, frankly. Amazing, right? Amazing. He's like, you have a choice. You can come to work or you can do this work from home thing, but you no longer have a job, right? You're welcome to resign. Caroline Levitt said this yesterday.
Starting point is 00:30:22 I mean, like, people were getting all confused about it. They're all freaking out. It's like, guys, like, you've got to show up for work. I mean, how is that so hard to understand? To return to work. And if they don't, then they have the option to resign. And this administration is very generously offering to pay them for eight months. 6% of the federal workforce in the city actually shows up to work.
Starting point is 00:30:44 That's unacceptable. Yeah, it's totally, totally unacceptable. And so we're doing something about it. But she's taking all kinds of flack, and Trump has taken all kinds of flack. It's why he had to clarify things today. She went on Fox yesterday to try and clarify. Well, first of all, he questioned President Trump's legal authority to do this, and the president has the legal authority to tell federal workers that within the confines of the law and their contracts,
Starting point is 00:31:11 they have to show up to work. Only 6% of the federal workforce in Washington, D.C. actually shows up to the office. That's egregious. Wow. So think about that. If you can get 10 to 20% of federal workers? taking this buyout, you've just saved yourself a whole ton of money. Now, I know like it's just a little bit, but a little here, a little there, you know, this stuff starts to add up. We might actually,
Starting point is 00:31:37 we might actually be on the right track at some point. Of course, this is unbelievable. Not everybody is willing to leave their jobs. Not everybody is willing to take this gracious offer of retirement. In fact, there's this one lady who runs the Department of Action. Agriculture, check this out. This was amazing to me. And this came up and Nick Sotaur had it on Twitter. And I said to one of our producers, I'm like, hey, can you check that out? Because I just want to make sure that this is true because it sounds kind of crazy, right? And this, he was one of the first people reporting it. You have this woman who runs the Department of Agriculture who's literally refusing to leave her job. She was fired by the president and she had to be physically removed,
Starting point is 00:32:30 physically removed, imagine they got that one on tape, by her office, from her office by security after apparently refusing to comply with the reality that, you know, she no longer has a job. And so she got fired and she wouldn't leave. And I'm like, this can't actually be true. Come on. And sure enough, let's see if we can fix this. Yes, it is. It is true, and you see it right here being reported there in Reuters. USDA Inspector General escorted out of her office. After defying the White House security agents, she was escorted by security. I guess they had to actually physically remove her because, oh, she loves her job that much.
Starting point is 00:33:16 She's not going anywhere. I mean, this one was really, really wild. But he's coming under a lot of criticism for some people that he's, getting rid of, and some people that do not want to lose their job no matter what. Don't forget, you got Letitia there, who's insisting that she's got to protect all the people that may be going to Gitmo. You have his Justice Department announcing, not only did it fire the Agriculture Department, it's firing employees that worked with Jack Smith, and one would think he kind of has some ability to do this. I've talked a little bit about this, but I'm just going to tell you that, you know,
Starting point is 00:33:53 You know, when you're the CEO of a company, you kind of need everybody on the same page. And if you've got team members who just are absolutely against your vision for the company, you really can't have them working there. And it's kind of up to you. As the leader and manager of that organization, this is something Obama actually was quite good at, if they're not going to be with you, then you actually have to manage them out or fire them. And that's what he's doing. He's taking this real-life business approach.
Starting point is 00:34:23 to Washington, D.C. and they're like, oh my gosh, because we've never seen anything like this before. Imagine that. We have to show up for work. Are you kidding me? I'm a federal employee. I can't be fired. Yeah, it turns out you can. So this is fascinating, and I do think it's generous. The eight months is very, very, very, very generous. The view is not long for this world. I don't believe. I think that ABC is desperate to get rid of this show if they could. I think Disney is desperate to get rid of ABC. I don't think that the new buyer who comes in is ever going to pay the salaries that you're talking about
Starting point is 00:35:02 with Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar and all of these women. I think that it is very important perhaps to Whoopi to keep her salary or perhaps she's in contract negotiations right now. Maybe that's why she's being so quiet and all of a sudden mysteriously agreeing with Trump on things like, oh, well, we don't want criminals here in this country. But not everybody is in that same position. In fact, this particular moment really caught my eye
Starting point is 00:35:23 because these women are taking aim at Caroline Levitt, who happens to be the youngest press secretary ever. She's a smart, well-spoken, passionate believer in MAGA. And, you know, she's also fairly attractive. Suggestion to federal workers that they have to return to work. And if they don't, then they have the option to resign. But apparently the fact that she is attractive is something that caught Joy Behar. eyes in a way that is pretty kind of gross. This is not becoming what I'm going to show you
Starting point is 00:36:02 from the view. This show that is, in theory, about women is only about liberal women. And I'd actually argue they're not really pro-women because they're pro athletes that were born as men, but compete as women. Don't tell me you're pro-women if you're going to sit there and give me that one. All right. So she's now taking aim at Caroline, because Caroline happens to be an attractive woman. Watch. I think she's probably been put in there because according to Donald Trump, she's a 10. You know that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:36:35 I want to be clear, though. It's not her first job. It was her first press briefing. She worked in the previous Trump administration. Whatever, right? They don't respect her because she's an attractive woman. I mean, that was a really kind of low-blow kind of comment. And really, I mean, if that doesn't get you fired,
Starting point is 00:36:53 hunt. I don't know what to say. It is really rather gross how they have carried on there. But, you know, they pretend they're all about women. Caroline said something about how the wokeness is done. It's over. Everybody's like, whew, like, I can't tell you how many people I talked to that were like, gee, you know, I thought I was middle of the road. I actually, I used to vote for Democrats, but like, it got so crazy with this woke insanity that I definitely voted for Trump because I couldn't take it anymore, right? Between inflation, the border, Somehow it's our fault that we're sending people back to Mexico or Colombia and the woke police. So listen to Whoopi, who must have forgotten that she's in contract negotiations.
Starting point is 00:37:38 I'm joking. I don't know if she is, but she forgot that she's gotten a warning by the producers in the back room, the slap on the wrist, knock it off, hon. She forgot about that for a split second, and she just launched this attack. Don't tell me these people are pro women. Yeah. I would like this young lady who's this is her first job. I would like her to do a little homework because she said something yesterday that really pissed me off. And that was, she said there will be no wokeness here. Oh, yeah. Let me explain something to you because without that wokeness,
Starting point is 00:38:10 you might not have that job. Yeah. Because women were not invited to that table. women were not invited to many tables in this nation. The reason we fought and busted our behinds to make sure that you didn't have to worry about this. And now to hear you talk about it and to hear anybody talk about the wokeness, the wokeness was put in place for a reason because black people couldn't get into colleges
Starting point is 00:38:42 because women could not get into the colleges they wanted to go to. This is all women. See, this is not black. This is all women. Women were not invited to this party. It was a man's world, and we busted our asses to make sure that this was a person's
Starting point is 00:38:59 world. So please stop using that phrase to talk about because you don't understand what you're saying. You're saying about yourself that, you know, hey, that's a terrible thing to be. It's not a terrible thing to be. That's why
Starting point is 00:39:15 we fought. That's what we were fighting for so that you could stand in that podium so that Catherine Jean-Pier could stand at that podium. So women of all kinds of colors and ilks, wherever they came from, whatever their belief system was,
Starting point is 00:39:31 they had the opportunity to bust down that door. I just wanted to do it. She's probably been put in there because, according to Donald Trump, she's a 10. You know that's what it is. I want to be clear, though. It's not her first job. It was her first job. So, look, guys, you see, that speech was designed to try and, you know, give them a reason for being. We're here. We're all these
Starting point is 00:39:54 women on the view. And because of us, like, we fought for this, that and the other so that you can have that job. Okay, great. Well, guess what? That fights over. Like, it's been one. Young women today, young girls aren't like obsessed with, oh, Kamala Harris is going to be the first female president. That's like my mom's generation, okay? It's not important to me. I mean, And it's great. She's a woman. So what? So what? Can she do the job? Will she keep me safe? Does she have a clue on our economic policy, on foreign policy? Answer, those things are no, no, no, no. So therefore, I don't want her as my president. It has nothing to do with the fact that she's a woman. You see, in a real meritocracy, you don't care if someone's male or a female. You just,
Starting point is 00:40:47 care about who can get the job done. So Caroline Levitt, stop Joy with your nonsense. You're just jealous because she's heck of a lot better looking than you ever dreamed of being. Sorry. You see the cattyness comes out of me too. For someone like Joy Behar, she's looking at Caroline with so much resentment instead of respecting the fact that, you know what? We live in a day and age when your daughter can grow up to be whatever it is that she wants to be. I mean, your son, let's hope he's not competing against your daughter and the track team. That's a whole other thing. But you see what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:41:26 In a real meritocracy, you're not basing things on diversity, equity, and inclusion. No, you're basing it on merit. I tell this story, but one of the best things about classical music, and you know I have a classical music background, is that to this day, they still audition their musicians for, say, the New York Symphony or the LA Symphony behind a screen, behind a curtain. The violinist plays that violin behind the curtain. Why? Because they want to audition someone and make sure that they are the best at playing the music. And they don't want to be distracted by the color of someone's skin, whether someone's male or female, by their age,
Starting point is 00:42:09 etc. That's fair. Of course, there's this whole movement in New York and in L.A. to say we could fix that because we need to get rid of the curtains. You need to know if somebody's black because you need to make sure you put them in as first chair in the New York Phil Harmonia because we don't have enough black people playing in the orchestra. Don't you think you might want to address that at an earlier age? Like, you know, when the kids are like five and six and maybe they're looking at playing the violin, that's when you actually need to be fixing things, not after the fact you can't change things after and expect to have good outcomes. You can't put the worst violinist as the first chair at the New York Phil and think that the
Starting point is 00:42:51 place is going to sound good. Everybody's got to be in tune, in time, and know how to play their instrument. This is why DEI, diversity, equity, inclusion is D-O-A, dead on arrival. It's partly why I started 76 research. It's partly why Rob and I were like, this is getting nuts, because you go Wall Street, all obsessed with DEI. Forget about it. Like, you need companies that make profits, do you not? So go check it out.
Starting point is 00:43:22 You can check out our model portfolios. We have three of them there. One is a resilience portfolio. It's all growth-oriented, so you have more tech companies in there. Also, you have companies that should benefit from the AI rollout, but aren't actually AI companies like an Nvidia, et cetera. So it's a really good way, especially with some. of the controversy that's been going on right now. We also have an inflation protection portfolio,
Starting point is 00:43:44 and we have an income builder portfolio because everybody wants to retire one day. So it was a big part of my incentive to start that company. Also, in addition to so many people saying to me, I don't know where to begin, I don't know how to invest. And I'm like, you've got to invest. You just have to invest. Because if you want to be able to have anything one day, the value of compound interest, it's extraordinary. And one of these days, I'll walk you through the numbers, but listen, on average, I'm going to be really, really conservative. Markets tend to grow 7%. If you look at the S&P over a 20-year time period, around 7% you can expect, well, the value in that is not just the 7% but the compounding of that because it just begets more and more and
Starting point is 00:44:27 more and more. So that's my speech. Make sure you're investing. Go to 76 research. Let us help there. Look at the model portfolios. If you want to get the 76 report, which is our newsletter, It's just a dollar a month with code word dollar, D-O-L-L-A-R. I'm telling you, Leticia James is going to find herself in a little bit of a pickle. And the reason for that is she just doesn't seem to understand that there is this thing called federal law. She came out with a tweet this week that says, basically, New York has laws that protect immigrants and limit cooperation with federal immigration enforcement. Those laws should be followed by law enforcement and officials in our state.
Starting point is 00:45:06 I'll always uphold our laws and protect immigrant New Yorkers. But that's going to be kind of hard, especially when Donald Trump is saying he's sending him to Gitmo. I'm also signing an executive order to instruct the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to begin preparing the 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay. Most people don't even know about it. We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens. threatening the American people. Some of them are so bad, we don't even trust the countries
Starting point is 00:45:40 to hold them because we don't want them coming back, so we're going to send them out to Guantanamo. This will double our capacity immediately, right? And tough, that's a tough place to get out of. Today's signings bring us one step closer to eradicating the scourge of migrant crime in our communities once and for all. And it was just a purely, it's just an unforced error
Starting point is 00:46:04 that we even have to be doing this. Now we need Congress to provide full funding for the complete and total restoration of our sovereign borders, as well as financial support to remove. 87% support deporting criminal undocumented virus. Yes. I don't know anybody in the world. Yeah, I don't know anybody in the world who wants to keep the criminals. I don't know anybody.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Okay. Well, I get somebody. I get somebody and her name would be one, Letitia James. She wants to keep the criminals. She wants to keep everyone. She wants to make sure, and don't forget, you know, the administration's stance on this is, if you're here illegally, then you are, by nature of being here illegally, a criminal. Anyway, Latisha James wants to keep them all.
Starting point is 00:46:48 So she's already priming herself. She already filed suit on one thing. She's proud because she filed 100 lawsuits last go around, so she's getting ready. She's got many more coming, she says, because she will fight him on this tooth and nail. She's got stealing her back. Under my leadership, my office sued Donald Trump over 100 times. And the basis of all of that was Project 2025. So he cannot distance himself from something that he has attempted to implement when he was president of these United States.
Starting point is 00:47:20 And we were successful. 70% of the time, we were the firewall, Democratic Attorney General. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, so she's teaming up with California. California is like, we're not going to let him do this. No, no, no. We have jurisdiction, but here's this problem, you see. You got something called the Constitution, and the Constitution, if it does anything for the federal government.
Starting point is 00:47:42 It certainly, thank you, Simon, Ho, for your generosity. It certainly absolutely affords the federal government, the ability to go after criminals here illegally. Like, they control their borders. I mean, how many times did we have to hear from Texas? Think about what Governor Abbott was dealing with. Remember back in Texas, he wanted to try and clean things up there. He wanted to try and force and force his border. And guess what?
Starting point is 00:48:10 He couldn't. And the reason he couldn't was because federal government is in charge of that. So Letitia, you can pretend that you're going to have a whole bunch of whatever power on this front. I'm telling you, it's not happening. Simon, I'll get to your comment in just a moment. But here, let's go back to Letitia because she said this week, how she was suing on. Not only does this administration's new policy put people at risk, but it is plainly unconstitutional. The president does not get to decide which laws to enforce and for whom.
Starting point is 00:48:43 When Congress dedicates funding for a program, the president cannot pull that funding on a whim. Later today, I am leading and joining with my colleagues, my fellow Democratic Attorney General's, in suing this administration to stop this illegal. freeze of essential funds for our state. We will not stand for any illegal policy that puts essential services for millions of Americans at risk, and we work tirelessly overnight to ensure that that does not happen. Our lawsuit will seek an order, a court order, to immediately stop the enforcement of the OMB policy and to preserve essential funding for Americans. unbelievable right luthiana cluths thank you so much again appreciate the generosity simon i wanted to
Starting point is 00:49:37 get to you i think we have one more gosh you guys are just i know you're fired up about this and i'm fired up about this too because it's like okay america voted and i'm going to go back to the statistic whether you're looking at the new york times or fox news there's some consensus there 87 percent of americans agree that you cannot have people here in this country that are criminals illegally. And yet you've got these state lawmakers, AGs out there trying to defend the criminals. I mean, haven't you kind of lost your way?
Starting point is 00:50:09 When you're out there working so hard to defend the criminals, instead of working so hard to make sure that the people that live in your jurisdiction, thank you very much, are safe. They need to be safe. And that is where your effort should be. So, yes, America elected somebody that they believe actually can. succeed in making, in making us safe. Make America safe again. Make America great again. Make America prosperous again. Make America healthy again. I mean, all of these things that we need to embrace.
Starting point is 00:50:42 I mean, it's very, very, very true. Thank you, freely smile. Thank you. I just wanted to shout out some of you guys. Maybe I'll do more of this at the end. It is nice to have you here in such a wonderful group. All of you really, I mean that. Make sure that you subscribe. Make sure you hit the bell so that you know when I am live every day. All right, Latisha is making it clear she doesn't want to stop suing Donald Trump and she's going to keep it going as much as she can. No matter what. I think she actually said that. Am I stealing her words? No matter what. Oh boy, oh boy. A quick shout out for one of our sponsors before I get to Captain America responding, oh my goodness. I mean, people are saying, like, is he the DEI Captain America?
Starting point is 00:51:33 I'm sorry, but you know what? Like, it starts, this is the unfortunate thing. It really is unfortunate when people start thinking that automatically. Because, like, if you don't believe in America and yet you're Captain America, we got a problem. More on that. But first, balance of nature, I take my fruits and veggies. Every single day, I take my vitamins.
Starting point is 00:51:52 I got a kid that's homesick today. I can't, I had a kid that was sick last week. I keep telling you guys this. I'm like, knock on wood, knock on wood, so far so good, right? I have not been sick, which would be really bad since I'm on the air live with you. And I kind of need my voice five days a week. So I kind of feel like balance of nature has something to do with that. Balance of Nature.com. I encourage you to go to their website. Look at their thousands of testimonials. They make billions of these fruits and veggies every single year with hundreds of thousands of people millions of people all over the world taking them. I'm one of them.
Starting point is 00:52:28 1,800, 246, 8751, 1,800, 246, 8751, you get 35% off. If you use my name, code word Trish, plus you get free shipping and you have a money back guarantee. Not bad, right? Keeping us healthy. Make America healthy again, right? As we were saying, Captain America is not really into the America stuff. And he got called out for it. You see, he was at this press conference in Rome, Italy on the international stage, kind of trash talk in America. And people are like, wait, what was that?
Starting point is 00:53:03 I mean, that might have been a phone call from the boss at Disney. Don't forget Marvel Avengers, it's owned by Disney. Disney's got some problems between Whoopi Goldberg and this Captain America guy. Anyway, Captain America, here he is, Anthony Mackie, he took over for the old guy, Chris Evans, and he's the new Captain America. He's come out with a response trying to say, oh, that's not really, really, really what I meant after there was this huge commotion because conservatives are like, yeah, we're not going to go see the Avengers.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Do you think we want to go see a guy that really doesn't seem to like America that doesn't think that Captain America represents America? Here he is. There's a translation in Italian. because somebody picked it up in the audience there, in Italy, and it went viral. This is all over the world. For me, Captain America represents a lot of different things, and I don't think the term, you know, America should be one of those representations.
Starting point is 00:54:02 Like, it's about a man who keeps his word, who has honored dignity and integrity, someone who is trustworthy and dependable. You know, it's kind of, this is kind of like an aspect of a dream coming true. You know, when I was a kid, you know, all of us as actors, I believe, want to get back to that day before someone told you no. When you look out your door and you see a five-year-old kid with a stick and he's slaying dragons to save the princess in the tower, that kid really believes their dragons out there. That stick is really a sword and he's really trying to save that prince. And then one day somebody told him, no, there are no dragons. That's not a sword.
Starting point is 00:54:49 And that princess is not there. And all of his little dreams were dashed. So, you know, as an actor, I feel like our job is to get back to the day when we see that dragon and we slayed that dragon to save that princess. And that's kind of what this movie was for me. All right. Well, you know, when you see Captain America isn't really representative of America, given that he was, he was like fighting the bad guys, given that the storyline originates in the 1940s during World War II, where I said this yesterday, but I'll remind you, if it weren't for America, we'd all be
Starting point is 00:55:28 speaking German. All right, so let's be really, really clear. America, we always have been, and we will continue to be because, look, we do the right thing. We elected the right person. We're the good guys. So Anthony, you know, you, you know, you. You may not think America's so hot, but I got news for you. Learn your history, would you? All right? I say that as somebody who is a history major. American history major.
Starting point is 00:55:56 I specialized in colonial, because, you know, I grew up and lived for your die in New Hampshire, one of the original 13 colonies. We really take this stuff seriously. Both sides. I mean, like, it doesn't matter. We're like Democrat, Republican, like there's a commonality there. It's changed a little bit because you get some of the mass holes as we like to call it. call them moving up, but there's a commonality in that typically they want a small government and they
Starting point is 00:56:20 don't want to be taxed. Here he writes, let me be clear about this. You see, he has to respond because people were very upset. I'm a proud American and taking on the shield, taking on the shield of a hero like cap. Oh, so now we're not even calling it Captain America anymore? Forgive me, maybe that's the slang that the kids know and use, but I looked at. at this and I'm like, okay, we're not even calling him Captain America anymore. He's just CAP. Is the honor of a lifetime. I have the utmost respect for those who serve and have served our country.
Starting point is 00:56:52 Cap has universal characteristics that people all over the world can relate to. Aha. Okay, Anthony. So all over the world, universal characteristics, you don't believe that this has anything to do with being American or having American values. No, probably not because none of those Disney actors seem to understand that they grew up and benefited from an American economy that, by the way, made them the household names that they are today. Scarlett Johansson, looking at you, part of the Avengers cast.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Okay, they have the success they have because we have a booming entertainment industry. And we have an economy that can support this and likes their stars. But wow, I mean, these are the same cast of characters. The Avengers, Disney literally assembled the Avengers. Remember for Kamala on October 31st of 2024? Hi, Avengers. Hi, Scarlett. Jumping on the call.
Starting point is 00:57:53 Whoa, whoa, whoa. I think you mean assembling. Wow. Sohn, that's pretty good. No, that was funny. Scarlett, it is our pleasure to come together and to get the vote out this election. Yeah, how can we be a service? How about we start with what our voting plans are going to be?
Starting point is 00:58:10 who are going to bring to the polls with us, that sort of thing. I think Kamala Harris needs a catchphrase. Oh, yes, definitely a catchphrase. How about this? I'm just... Point being, you know who they are. You know what they're about. Right?
Starting point is 00:58:25 I mean, it's pretty clear. They're masquerading actors that they are. So, oh, we love America as Captain America, but they really have no use for any of it. And that's pretty darn gross. I mean, I'm really going to say. Ronald Zimmerman, thank you for your generosity. I love that you love the show.
Starting point is 00:58:45 I'm seeing so many comments from so many of you. It's really, really, really great to see A.B., A.B. in the house. And also, coming through with the super chat, the truth is the truth. No, no small-it stuff around here. No, the truth is the truth. And you know what? We need to respect and honor the truth. And I'm just going to say this, too.
Starting point is 00:59:07 Like, sometimes the truth is not even so easy to find initially, right? Like, think about Wuhan China and the bits of information that we were getting out here, there, and everywhere. And yet they didn't want us to talk about it. They never wanted us to talk about it. And that in and of itself struck me as extraordinarily, extraordinarily bad. I see we have another super chat, so I just want to get to this before we go to, because we're going to talk about the fed.
Starting point is 00:59:32 We've got to talk about a dog mama for life. I have avoided Dog Mama for Life rights. I have avoided the Avengers franchise ever since the actors assembled for Kamala. My childhood Disney fields ruined. I know. I get it. I'm with you. You know, we used to take a family pilgrimage.
Starting point is 00:59:53 I would call it to Disney every single year. Like that was what we did. My dad had a conference in Miami. So we drive down. My sister, myself, my grandmother. mother, all three of us in the back seat. And this is like before phones, okay? So I say, all my kids, like, you guys got it good. I was sitting there doing crossword puzzles. But it was good family time. And these are good memories. And I joke about the Disney pilgrimage. We went
Starting point is 01:00:18 every single year as a big deal vacation. And, you know, my parents would save all year. We'd go to Disney. And it was, it was wonderful. And it was great, always. Up until, like, kind of just a short time ago, A.B. Living in America. James, it was wonderful. And I cherish those memories, and Disney was a big part of my childhood. And yet what Disney has become and do not forget the role of ABC News in this entire election. Don't forget for two seconds, everything that was going on and the connection between Kamala and the ABC person. Don't forget, that's how she met her husband, Dougie. Seriously, look, I love child abuse.
Starting point is 01:01:06 abuse, stop child abuse rights. I love President Trump. Oh, goodness. We'll have to edit that one out. But I'm trying to read in real time. It's not exactly. Thank you so much for all the support. Yes, we have to stop all of that. Look, the bad stuff has to stop. We need to be on par with the right, the right message and the right people, guys. It's really, really important right now. Some good stuff to talk about. You know, if you look at what happened at the Federal Reserve today, It looks as though there's a consensus there that things are improving. So I want to mention that. But before I do, quickly here, we've got the Kennedy family really seemingly at odds.
Starting point is 01:01:49 The Kennedy family at odds over the legacy and future of the Kennedy family overall. Take a look at our... My approach to administration, HHS, will be radical transparency. If members of this committee or other members of Congress want information, the doors are open. I've spent many years litigating against NIH and its sub-agencies, I mean it's HHS and its sub-agency's NIH-CDCFDA on FOIA issues, trying to get information that we, the taxpayers, paid for, and oftentimes getting back redacted copies after a year or two years of litigation, that should not be the case. and if Congress asks me for information, you will get it immediately.
Starting point is 01:02:37 Okay, so here is part of the problem, right? He's actually promising transparency. Transparency. Yeah, we need some transparency. I mean, given what we went through with Fauci, Donald Trump just ended his security. That might be my most popular short ever. We just played a clip of Donald Trump announcing
Starting point is 01:02:57 that he wasn't going to be the $15 million for the Fauci security anymore. Look, I think that there's a lot of effort going into derailing RFK right now, in part because he wants his transparency, in part because he's willing to stand up to Big Farmer. I mean, he's even got Caroline Kennedy, family member coming out. Look at her saying this. I mean, this is, this is kind of lousy. I mean, your own family's out there attacking you. And she's kind of a private person and doesn't like to do anything on camera.
Starting point is 01:03:30 She wrote a letter to Congress, and then she went on and did this. It was like a six-minute-long job. I'm just going to play you like 30 seconds of it, so you get a feel. This is Caroline Kennedy talking about her brother. I've known Bobby my whole life. We grew up together. It's no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets, because Bobby himself is a predator.
Starting point is 01:03:52 He's always been charismatic, able to attract others through the strength of his personality, his willingness to take risks and break the rules. I watch his younger brothers and cousins follow him down the path of drug addiction. His basement, his garage. Okay, and then she goes on and it gets kind of really bad at some point when she starts talking about how he would feed his hawks. But I think one thing to keep in mind here is just that the Kennedy family itself is sort of at odds with its future. They get RFK Jr., who's getting a lot of attention and has been.
Starting point is 01:04:27 really because he was quite willing to criticize Fauci and criticize the government in ways that the establishment just wouldn't, right? And so consequently, he's persona non-grada. And actually, I'm going to hand it to the New York Times. They did a pretty good job on this. They don't always, right? But credit work credits do.
Starting point is 01:04:45 And I think they kind of hit the nail on the head here. This is a family who's actually battling right now who gets to claim the mantle of the Kennedys, who for so long were that, quote, first family of Democrat politics with their talk about government service and helping the poor and downtrodden. They were long personified by three Kennedy brothers, JFK, the former president, RFK, the former Attorney General,
Starting point is 01:05:06 and New York Senator and Edward Kennedy, the former senator from Massachusetts. But in recent years, Mr. Kennedy has become the most recognizable living Kennedy, largely because of the criticism of the government's handling of the coronavirus pandemic, his presidential campaign, and now his alliance with Donald Trump. And so he said today, the hearings. He's like, look, if you're aligned with Donald Trump, like, that's it. Like, it's over.
Starting point is 01:05:31 And so now the Kennedy family is freaking out because, oh my gosh, it's like they don't actually want to listen to anything that he's saying. I was just overseas over the new year. And I was amazed because, first of all, like, no matter where you go for food, it all tastes good. You can be at a little tiny local place, right? The corner store, you have a sandwich. And it's like, this is the best sandwich I've ever had. Then you realize they don't put all the additives into their bread. They don't put the sprays onto their wheat. They don't add all those chemicals. I mean, we just came out the other day and said, okay, you know, red dye is bad. Like, let's get rid of red dye. Like, you can't find anything with red dye. My son went to buy some tic tacks and he likes the little
Starting point is 01:06:18 orange kind and, you know, in the U.S., you get the orange tic tic. And so he bought the thing, he got all confused because he opened it up. They looked orange because they had this orange translucent plastic that they were in. And when you opened them up, they were all white. And I was like, because they don't use the red dye. What do you know? Okay, so can we not have these conversations? Like, is that so offensive to the candy family that their, her brother is willing to take on lots of big companies? I mean, they're giving him a harder time, dare I say, than they gave Pete even. I mean, I will still say this. It looked like the polymark Our odds were in his favor. I love Polymarket. Do you remember on election night? I was here with Rob. We were live for nine hours. I've never in my entire life been live for nine hours on TV, but we sure were. And by the way, we were able, and we didn't call the election, but I'll tell you, we had all the information that really was of significance. So here is RFK's chances, and it's because we were watching markets here, of winning this whole thing or getting this whole thing. And it looks like he's got a 70,
Starting point is 01:07:26 percent chance. According to Polymarket today, his chances have gone up a little bit. You can see they were as high as 85 at one point, and then yesterday they kind of tanked when his sister came out with the video. But I think ultimately he will get by. I think the one that you're going to have to worry about is actually probably, dare I say, not Kash Patel. In fact, I'm looking at Polymarking. He's got an 88% chance. But when I look at Tulsi Gabbard, I start to get a little bit more nervous because right now she's looking like she has a 52% chance. And so that's going to be a little bit more of a challenging one. We'll see how those hearings go, but 52% chance, you know, in the so-called betting markets
Starting point is 01:08:06 at this moment in time. I will say, though, that, you know, there's this optimism that is very, very apparent. It's partly why I do encourage you all to invest right now. Go to 76 Research.com. Do use code word dollar. This optimism is coming from just, I think, this sense that, you know what, finally, somebody who understands economics is in charge. If you look at what the Federal Reserve said today, they are intending to leave rates steady, but they actually said the economy is doing pretty well. And look, the economy started doing better.
Starting point is 01:08:48 Even before Donald Trump was in office, this is a soundbite from a financial. Times columnist that I want to play for you that came out, she was on MSNBC's air in December right before Christmas and she was saying like, look, people are excited. I mean, poor MSNBC didn't know quite how to react to this. Jillian Tet, the financial columnist saying there's such a thing called animal spirits. They actually have a name for this in economics. Watch. What is your sense of what, not just American CEOs, but the world. is bracing for, is prepared for, is expecting from a second term? Well, here is what we do know.
Starting point is 01:09:29 We do know that Donald Trump's election has unleashed astonishing animal spirits. And by animal spirits, I'm referring to the economist John Manny Keynes, who was from King's College, Cambridge, who argued that when people start to feel wildly optimistic and confident, that basically causes them to spend more, invest more, hire more, and you get this self-fulfilling cycle of growth. And right now, everyone can sense that there's an extraordinary explosion of animals for it's an American relation to the economy, and particularly relative to all the other major
Starting point is 01:10:00 trading partners like Europe or Asia right now. So the CEOs are acting like rational business people saying we want to be part of that. We want to be part of this growth story. However, that's what we do know, what we don't know. She sees them all looking at each other. Did you see Willie? Like, looking over at Mika. They're like, wait, what?
Starting point is 01:10:18 She's like, yeah. You know what? People want to be part of this. The train left the station. Make America Great again is happening. Right? You can also go to Invest in MAGA. Invest in MAGA. That's ours. This is 76 research and sign up for your free guide on Invest in MAGA. I mean, like, this is happening. They get it. CEOs all over the world know that there's somebody who really passionately cares about growth in charge. So he wants better border policy. He wants better tax policy. He wants to be able to offshore all those dollars. You know, Biden didn't care about any of them. He didn't understand any of this. Let's be really honest with each other. Didn't understand economics and had that job. Kamala Harris was even
Starting point is 01:11:04 worse. All I can say is thank our lucky stars, right? Thank our lucky stars that we're not sitting here with a president, Kamala Harris. That would be really, really, really bad. One more shout-out for I'm a sponsor American Heart for gold up to $15,000 in free silver right now, for those of you that go to trish lovesgold.com. Listen, I'm a big believer in diversification. You know that. I'm also worried about inflation. Under any scenario, I'm actually relieved that the Fed didn't cut again and said that the economy is strong. And maybe they won't actually need to do that. I know that may be a little bit at odds with President Trump because he loves lower interest rates. I get it. Markets love lower interest rates. But inflation also loves lower interest rates. And I, don't love inflation. But one of the ways that I protect myself, of course, is through an investment in gold. So go check it out there. American Heart for Gold. Trish lovesgold.com.
