Starting point is 00:00:35 And, you know, another day goes by and we're hearing about more problems over at the view. Now, the FCC is getting involved. And you think these people would be a little bit smarter, right? They've been given tons of warnings. And yet now we're at a particular sort of point in time where I don't think the FCC has much choice, but to move forward with these penalties. And that's, in fact, what Brennan Carr, head of the FCC, is telling. us. We're going to talk about that, plus all things, Prince Andrew. You know, Donald Trump warned about him 15 years ago. Like, it's sort of amazing. I want to go back in time and show you that clip about what Donald Trump was saying about both F-C and literally Prince Andrew way back when. We have a lot to cover, of course, the situation unfolding in Iran and we are now stepping up
Starting point is 00:01:24 our military presence there significantly. The president speaking on this moment's ago. We will go to him. But again, we begin the day on none other than the ladies at the view. The ladies at the view really don't have a clue now, do they? Because Brennan Carr has told them over and over and over again, look, you can't operate this way. This is not how it's going to go down. And yet they continue to ignore him. It's rather remarkable. We're going to move forward on these penalties. Let me see if I can bring this up for you. I want to show you what they're suggesting is going to happen now with Brennan Carr saying he is going to actually begin those quote unquote enforcement proceedings. against ABC's The View over equal time issues.
Starting point is 00:02:03 The reason this is coming to a head is because, well, let's face it, the show is 99% Democrats all the time. I mean, they had Arnold Schwarzenegger on, if you can count him as a conservative once, and he tried to put them in their place saying, hey, hey, hey, you know what? You come to this country. You're an immigrant. We've played this on the shorts' feet a few times for you guys. You like this one.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Anyway, Arnold is trying to set them straight. They all had this look of what? their faces. But that was like the only conservative they had ever put on besides MTG. I guess you're a conservative that gets on the show if you hate Donald Trump. That's when it all seems to come together for them. They'll bring you on if you hate Donald Trump, if you're a never Trumper. So MTG was sort of grandfathered in because of that. As soon as she turned, right, they brought her on to talk about how much she hated Trump. But consistently over and over and over again, they just keep bringing Democrats on. And on top of that, you get a very important race
Starting point is 00:02:56 that's coming up where they're going to start beginning. They're already beginning some of the early voting there in Texas, and it's Jasmine Crockett versus this guy who looks like he's like 12. I'm sorry, he's like 12. He's like Duggy Houser or something, okay? So James Tolariko or something, he's running against Jasmine Crockett. And so why do they keep putting both of them on, right? They had Jasmine on and then they brought James Tolarico on.
Starting point is 00:03:23 It's a little bit strange. and Brennan Carr's like, you know, you can't do that, guys. You just can't do this. And he keeps telling them, and I'm going to keep telling you, that there's a different standard for broadcast, and you are governed by the FCC. So if you were cable, you could bring on all your favorite Democrats all day long every single day of the week.
Starting point is 00:03:43 It would not be an issue. But when you try to do that on network television, it is an issue. And so, you know, some of these late-night shows are trying to figure that one out. They're learning the hard way. Colbert, for example, who's into it with CBS. Oh, you know, CBS is trying to censor me. And, you know, this one, Brendan Carr, he's trying to censor me. No.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Brendan actually came out and said, I didn't censor you, Stephen. And CBS said, we didn't either. You know, this is just you're having to deal with reality when we present you with the legal challenges. Remember, he was slamming the Trump administration, the FCC. He was slamming CBS. His employer, CBS came out and said, not us. We're just telling you what the legal risks are.
Starting point is 00:04:24 because there are legal risks, because there are laws involved in this. So what does it mean for penalty? This CNN reporter doesn't think it'll mean much. I think he's wrong on this and we'll talk about it. But let's go to the view on CNN over these FCC concerns, whether it be with Colbert or, of course, the view. I was told by a source familiar with the matter tonight that, yes, ABC has been contacted by the FCC, that, yes, there is an active investigation into the view.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Now, I feel kind of funny saying those words, like an investigation into the view, right? It seems kind of ludicrous. But it is true. The FCC sent some letters. ABC has responded. There is this back and forth. And I'm told that is what caused concern among CBS lawyers. That is what caused this chill at CBS.
Starting point is 00:05:07 But the FCC has very little actual enforcement power. Yeah, they could make ABC pay a fine, but they're not going to revoke a station license. So ultimately, the FCC didn't do this. The FCC created a chill, but the CBS lawyers did this. And there is a term for what's happening at CBS. It's called obeying. in advance. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Obeying in advance. Why not just obeying the law? Okay? Why are we like having a big thing about this? For whatever reason, ever since Donald Trump first came to office, the networks have kind of gone over the deep end in terms of their own bias. And for whatever reason, nobody chose to enforce FCC rules, which have always been on the books.
Starting point is 00:05:51 And so in this particular case, what could? it mean? Well, the affiliation thing is a big deal. The affiliation thing is a big deal because all of these ABC affiliates are licensed by the FCC. So you have all these like local stations, like 250 of them, all around the country. ABC actually owns only about seven or so. They have what are called O and O's, owned and operated stations. The rest are granted broadcast license from the FCC. And so the FCC is the ability to pull those that they think that they're running programming that's really not following the law, the equal time, equal opportunity time rules where if you're going to have one Democrat on, then you've got to have one Republican on. It's not that hard. I mean, you could follow the
Starting point is 00:06:36 rules, right? And then it wouldn't be a big deal. But Colbert decided to try and pull an ABC thing. And yes, his network's lawyers said, hey, you might not want to do this unless you're willing to deal with any penalties that might ensue. So what could be those penalties? Running car very, very easily could threaten those stations with losing their licenses. And if they lose their licenses, because they keep showing shows like the View over and over and over again, they're not going to be too happy. So they're going to now, in turn, put pressure on ABC News and the network to say,
Starting point is 00:07:14 hey, you've got to serve up some better programming. Trust me, they'd all love to get rid of the view. It doesn't rate very well. They'd love to take that time back. And then they could use it for local programming. They could do their own local view. And they'd make more money. And they'd all be happy.
Starting point is 00:07:28 And so this may be giving them a window of an opportunity to do that. And this is the network's biggest fear. All self-induced because they are the ones do not forget that decided to put James Tullerico, the 12-year-old, who's running for Senate in Texas, the Democrat against Jasmine Crockett. Remember, this is, remember, I just want to advise you. This was like days after Jasmine had been on bashing Trump, bashing ice. You know the drill.
Starting point is 00:07:53 And then this guy comes on saying this. Watch. You're running in the Democratic primary against U.S. rep, representative Jasmine Crockett. And there has been a lot of discourse around her electability. And some would say that is code for they don't think a black woman can win statewide. Should she win this primary against you? Do you think she can win a state-wide race? Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:08:15 You know, Congresswoman Crockett is my friend. I have deep love and respect for her. She is a leader in our state. And I've said before that if she wins this nomination, I will be behind her a thousand percent and I will do everything I possibly can to get her over the finish line. We're on the same team, Jasmine and I.
Starting point is 00:08:33 We're trying to change the politics of our state and take back this country. And we're both putting forward our experiences and our skill sets in a healthy competition. And what I think I bring to this primary something unique. But I love her.
Starting point is 00:08:47 I love her. I love her, I love her, I love her, right? So this is actually just helping Jasmine, who he goes on and on to talk about himself, whatever. I don't think he's going to get to first base. I've looked at some of the initial polls, and I can show that with you. And so I think it's actually really appropriate that the administration step up and enforce these equal time rules, because, again, if you're broadcast, you have to kind of play by these rules, and if you're cable, you don't. If your YouTube, you don't. Okay, so thank you. Reminders, subscribe, share, like, make a comment here again. I can see everything live.
Starting point is 00:09:17 But let's just listen to the rest of James speaking here as we prepare for some poll data that shows Jasmine is probably going to be, and I think we want her to be. Let's be honest, the Democrat nominee there in Texas for Senate. I have a history of winning these kind of races. I got elected the statehouse by flipping a Trump district that no one thought was winnable in a county that was so red. It hadn't voted for a Democrat for president since Jimmy Carter. And I did that by building a big tent. by inspiring Democrats to get off the couch. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Well, he's probably not going to be the nominee. So amazing, as it seems, because I just can't imagine anybody voting for her, especially in the likes of Texas, where, you know, people tend to be a little bit smarter. She is actually pulling ahead of him. So Crockett's support, according to the University of Houston's Hobby School of Public Affairs,
Starting point is 00:10:11 she's got an eight-point lead over Tala Rico. So Crockett's support apparently was at 47 percent, while 39% said they plan to cast their vote for the little 12-year-old. Another candidate, someone named Ahmad Hassan, received 2% support, while 12% of respondents said they were still undecided. So the administration is like, why are you giving all of this time to effectively Jasmine? Like that doesn't really seem appropriate, now, does it? And this is why you're going to find a real big problem here.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Again, Brendan Carr, if you're just joining us, has come out today and said that he intends to persevere here, and he's begun what they call enforcement proceedings against ABC's The View. So they can impose fines, for example, forfeitures. The stations can face monetary policies if they improperly deny equal opportunities. So this is, again, the affiliates that are going to feel the pain here. And so they're in turn going to be very angry at ABC News for putting them in this precarious legal position. this would basically also lead to the possibility of license renewals not being given. So if you're up for your license renewal, these broadcast license are periodically reviewed,
Starting point is 00:11:33 and he may say, you know what, we're not going to give it to the station in Denver. I'm making this up, you know, not to pick on Denver, but we're not going to give it to Minneapolis this year because you guys are broadcasting these shows and they may say, well, it's not our fault. And he'll say, but it is because, you see, you control the airways. We really control the airways because we're the feds. And we have jurisdiction over you. And you are choosing to put this programming on that is putting you in legal jeopardy. So certainly in extreme cases, the FCC could be looking at revoking these licenses, and it would be rare. But you know what, this administration, I wouldn't put it past them. And so at this point, when they're looking at what they can do to enforce
Starting point is 00:12:16 the rules, so to speak, they have pretty broad jurisdiction. If they choose to use this, then the view could be off the air in a lot of markets. So now you've got the ball back in the affiliates court, and they're going to ABC and they're saying, we don't want this risk. We don't want whoopee on the air. She's not that great anyway. Nobody's watching her. The ratings are lousy. Let's take back that time. They have contracts you see in place, and the contracts are with ABC News. and ABC News says, but we produce the view and we provide this to you. And they're saying, well, we don't want it. Remember what happened with Jimmy Kimmel after Charlie Kirk's death? And he said those really heinous things. And all the affiliates were like, whoa, because they're getting
Starting point is 00:12:58 calls from viewers who are all kinds of complaints. And if there are that many complaints, you have to take that seriously. Again, federally controlled airwaves, not controlled controlled in the sense, but certainly jurisdiction matters in this case. And because they have that jurisdiction, They're saying, listen, you are here to serve the public good. And part of serving the public good is making sure that you're not promoting one agenda over another. And you're not just pushing Democrat candidates on people all the time. So that's where we are. And this is why this is very serious right now.
Starting point is 00:13:28 And I wouldn't be surprised if you see the network really start to shift back towards hopefully what they were. When that show first came out, it was designed to be much more level-headed and less bias. And I think over recent years, it's just deteriorated over and over and over again. And, you know, Whoopi Goldberg knows it. Joy Behar knows it. They know what they're doing. And they've continued to flaunt this. They've continued to really push the envelope.
Starting point is 00:13:56 And Brennan Carr is coming back and saying, no way, Jose, that's not flying. You know, look, it's a very biased show. You know that. You know what they've sent about Donald Trump and the allegations that they have made against Trump. with everything. But I'll point out Epstein as an example because Whoopi's name got caught up in this as well and she addressed this on the show this week.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Let's go to this tape. Now, in the name of transparency, can you put up my name is in the files? Yes. And what does it say? It says, Whoopi needs a plane to get to Monaco, John Lennon's chair, it should say Julian Lennon's.
Starting point is 00:14:40 charity is paying for it. They don't, they don't want to charter so they're looking for private owners. Here's the info. And they give all the information. And they're saying, do you want to offer your G2? And it looks like they said, no thanks. Yeah. So in other words, anybody can be on this list. Well, this is my point because I'm telling you, when I tell you, people are trying to turn me into, I wasn't his girlfriend. I wasn't his girlfriend. You were a child for him. I was not only too old, but it was at a time, you know, where this is just not, you used to have to have facts before you said stuff. But Trump is on the list 38,000 times.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Well, I can't speak to him, but I'm speaking about me because I'm getting dragged. People actually believe that I was with him. It's like, honey, come on. Every man that I've ever been with, you've known about him because either the inquirer wrote it about it. Yeah. People wrote about this stuff. So no, I never had this, you know. And no, I didn't get on the plane.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Because you know what I would have to do to get on the plane? Fly. They were trying to, yeah. And she doesn't fly. No, so they're trying to get me. She's a bus, babe. They're trying to get me to get on a plane to get to this thing for Julian Latter. Yeah, but the things they dropped, like, 300 names.
Starting point is 00:16:00 And it's like flood the zone. Because when you're looking, there are people like Marilyn Monroe who was dead. Elvis. Yeah, a lot of people, because a lot of the reasons your name, can be mentioned are news articles, third party emails, contacts, again, wealthy, famous people often cross in professional and social circles, so that's not the surprising part. So you would think that she's feeling and her frustration that she's feeling because she's been included in this list, you know, just impassively. You think she'd afford the president, for example, a little bit more
Starting point is 00:16:33 latitude because the president is mentioned mostly because Jeffrey Epstein seems to be gossiping about him in all of these files. and complaining about him and this, that, and the other. And he's not mentioned in ways that would be really implicating him, I don't know, like Bill Gates, okay? Like, that was a doozy, all right? We don't need to go there. It's still relatively early where I am.
Starting point is 00:16:57 But that's critical, right? So she's saying, gee, this isn't fair. After they've all been bashing him and bashing him, oh, he's associated with this. And you heard Joyce say, oh, his name is in there 30,000 times. but it's like well how is somebody's name in there i mean is it in like bill gates is in there or is it in like whoopies in there or is it just you know let me complain about them because it's him because i hate this guy by the way he wound up going to jail under donald's trouble i have more on this especially as it relates to prince andrew in his arrest today coming up but before we get to that i um i also want
Starting point is 00:17:31 to mention that there was a blooper by a media correspondent over at cbs and this is like blooper of all bloopers I mean, this was the most stupid, stupid, stupid question I've ever heard. I think anybody asked in recent times, this might be going down like the most stupid question in my career that has come out of a reporter's mouth. I mean, just completely assinine. But I want to give a quick shout out to one of our new sponsors here on the show. You know, I took this on because I, in high school, actually, had some friends, some twin boys that I used to carpool to school with.
Starting point is 00:18:09 And their dad dropped dead of a heart attack. It's completely unexpectedly right before their freshman year. And it was really sad because he had canceled his life insurance. He had totally canceled it. And I felt so bad. I remember, you know, the family just was really, obviously, reeling from the loss of the father, but also reeling from the financial change that they were going through at that time.
Starting point is 00:18:32 And so, you know, it was a lot for these kids. And so when these guys over at home, Policy Genius came to me and said, would you talk about the importance of life insurance, insurance in general, right, for everything, your house, your car? And I have a family. Like, I've always, like, insurance is always big and center. Like, I joke. Like, I actually, I like insurance probably too much. But I think that that experience with those twin boys growing up affected me deeply to the point where I always, when I had my own family, I wanted to make sure that I had the proper insurance for them. So I just wanted to mention this because this is a great way to
Starting point is 00:19:08 get insurance. It's never too late. You should take a look at it. It's really simple. It's really easy. I was on the website looking through it and it's phenomenal, just all the products that they're offering and the ease with which you can get this. I mean, this is really important to think about because it's not hard. They have the coverage amounts. They have the prices. They have the terms. No gas work. Just total clarity here. This is policy genius. PolicyGenus.com forward slash Regan, Nore-G-A-N, please use that URL because it helps the show, obviously. They are one of our great advertisers on the Trish Regan show. You can see, do you know this?
Starting point is 00:19:41 You can see what a 20-year life insurance policy would be for you. I mean, they start as low as $276 a year for a million dollars in coverage. That's pretty amazing, right? So put in all your information. They've got thousands of five-star reviews on Google and Trust Pilot from customers who found the best policy fit for their needs. they have all of this information. It lets you compare quotes from some of America's top insurance side by side, all for free.
Starting point is 00:20:09 So just go check it out. And, you know, look, again, I just think it's an incredibly important thing to do no matter what point in your life you're at because there's always somebody, right, that's going to need you one of your loved ones. The other thing is you've got to do the basic stuff with your home, your auto. Disability insurance is another really good one, really, really good one. So I could talk about insurance all day. I won't.
Starting point is 00:20:31 But I'm thrilled to welcome them to the show. PolicyGenius.com forward slash Regan, R-E-G-A-N, PolicyGenus.com forward slash Reagan. I'll put in the show notes as well for you. But let's get to the dumbest question ever from any report. You know, just when you think they're not that bright, who, they hit you with a doozy like this. Okay, this guy, he's from CBS. I believe his name is Ed O'Keefe, and you can't see him on camera.
Starting point is 00:20:55 But you've got to listen hard. And you're going to fall out of your chair. I promise you. I'm looking at the White House Press Secretary, Caroline Levin. I think she's about to fall right off of the podium. She's, you seriously, you idiot. Are you really asking me this question? Yeah, he's really asking the question. So drum roll, please, here we go. The dumbest question from apparently a very dumb reporter who works for CBS News and Caroline Levitt having to stand up there and deal with this. Watch. yesterday in his statement about Jesse Jackson, the president said, despite the fact that I'm falsely and consistently called a racist, by the scoundrels and lunatics on the radical left, Democrats all, it was always my pleasure to help Jesse along the way. Where or when does the president believe he's been falsely called racist? You're kidding, right? I will pull you plethora of examples. I'm going to get my team in that room to start going through the internet of radical democracy. throughout the years ed, who have accused this president falsely of being a racist. And I'm sure there's many people in this room and on network television across the country
Starting point is 00:22:03 who have accused him of the same. In fact, I know. Can you believe that that guy actually said that? I mean, in all seriousness, can you believe? I can hear it again because it's just so outrageous. He's talking about Jesse Jackson. And the president gave it like a wonderful eulogy on true social, a really nice comment. And his point was like, look, I always got along with Jesse.
Starting point is 00:22:23 I always helped Jesse. I like Jesse Jackson. And he's sort of like, you know, no matter what the media says about me, they're always going to keep calling me a racist. And this idiot reporter has the audacity to say, oh, no, that never happens. I mean, talking about gaslight. Gravely, what a gaslight the heck out of you and rewrite history in real time? And she's just stunned.
Starting point is 00:22:44 I got to play it again because it's so funny. You're kidding, right? Oh, wait. That's her reaction. She's nuts. It was always my pleasure to help Jesse along the way. Where or when does the president believe he's been falsely called racist? You're kidding, right?
Starting point is 00:23:00 I will pull you plethora of examples. I'm going to get my team in that room to start going through the internet of radical Democrats throughout the years ed, who have accused this president falsely of being a racist, and I'm sure there's many people in this room and on network television across the country who have accused him of the same. In fact, I know that because I've seen it with my own eyes. And the president very much looks forward to having an event later this afternoon at 3 p.m. to celebrate Black History Month and to talk about how his policies are advancing opportunity and prosperity for all Americans through record tax cuts through the Trump accounts that all Americans can access, regardless of race. These are a great thing for the next generation of Americans. The president has also awarded hundreds of millions of dollars in additional funding to strengthen educational outcomes that historically black colleges and universities across the country. Again, the president is protecting the hard-earned
Starting point is 00:23:59 benefits of the 2.4 million black veterans who honorably served in our nation's armed forces by reducing the backlog of veterans, waiting for their VA benefits and for their home loans through the Department of Veterans Affairs. So there is a lot this president has done for all Americans regardless of race, and he has absolutely been falsely called and smeared as a racist, and I'm happy to provide you those receipts, and we gladly will right after this briefing. I just thought it was fantastic, all right? So she took the opportunity to say, listen, he's doing all this, that, and the other. And when you look at some of the polls, I mean, you've never seen a president do this well
Starting point is 00:24:39 with black Americans before, which is quite telling, right? But the idiot reporter trying to suggest something like this. So anyway, the White House promised to make good on this, and they sent out this clip, which I got to share with you, because don't doubt yourself, we heard it. We heard it with our own ears. You heard a reporter say, well, when has he ever been called racist? Well, we got a little proof of that one for you, buddy boy. He is a thin-skinned racist bully.
Starting point is 00:25:03 He has been racist. There has never been a president in American history who has been so openly racist. A racist in chief. The president oftentimes resorts to very bigoted, xenophobic, slumophobic, racist rhetoric. Okay. And you know you had Ilhan at the end who's just mad because somehow it's racist that she's being investigated for having gone from negative $56,000 to 30 mil net worth in the span of a
Starting point is 00:25:36 couple years, right? Like if we ask the question, gee, how did you get there? Somehow that's racist. Listen, I mean, I don't know what prompted him to say such a thing unless they're trying to rewrite history in real time. That's all I can really think of because they do that. You know that. We've seen them try and gaslight us all.
Starting point is 00:25:56 And thank goodness we have tape. Thank goodness we have the tape. And I think it's because, you know what, they're sensing that this president, more than any other, I mean, he's gotten the most votes from black Americans and any other president in history. And so they're feeling threatened. And so they want to try and change the narrative. Just like you saw Hillary Clinton this week come out, well, in Munich, say,
Starting point is 00:26:19 well, you know, maybe the migration. stuff went a little bit too far. You heard Barack Obama say the same thing too, because they're trying to backpedal from some of this most extreme, most aggressive rhetoric, like open borders, one for all, don't call anybody illegal, et cetera. They're trying to backpedal from that because they know they've gone too far. And I think they're also trying to backpedal on the racist narrative. But it is true that over and over again, we keep hearing from black Americans that they love, they love this president. And I think that that's really scaring the left in a pretty massive way. This is Van Jones asking some black voters on CNN, would you vote for Donald Trump?
Starting point is 00:26:58 And Democrats don't like hearing these answers. If you had to do it all over again, would you vote for Donald Trump again, yes or no? Yes, I would. Now, in the future, I am not a diehard Democrat or diehard Republican. If there were a Democratic candidate who, was more aligned for me than I would vote Democrat. If you go back in time, would you vote for Donald Trump? Yes or no?
Starting point is 00:27:25 Yes. I think I might know the answer on this next. He said yes. It's immediately yes. No, I'm sorry. If you had to draw it all over again, would you vote for Donald Trump, yes or no? 1,000% absolutely yes.
Starting point is 00:27:45 Did you see Anderson's face? I guess he just lost his job over at CBS. He's taking time off to spend with family. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So apparently they couldn't pay him enough. I don't think you can pay me enough to go there. In fairness, I probably shouldn't take a swipe at Anderson for that
Starting point is 00:28:03 because you've got to get paid triple overtime or something to go work at that cesspool. Yeah. All right. Anyway, I want to get to the news on Iran. This is getting kind of serious, guys. we have found that we're seeing the most build-up in power in the Middle East since the 2003 Iraq of invasion. The president's son-in-law has been trying to work alongside Steve Wickoff to come to some kind of agreement for a reduction in their nuclear capability, and Iran's just not willing to do it.
Starting point is 00:28:36 And so as a result of that, we've been intensifying our military presence there. The president's speaking about this just moments ago. I want to go to him here on Iran. Now is the time for Iran to join us on a path that will complete what we're doing. And if they join us, that'll be great. If they don't join us, that'll be great too. But it'll be a very different path. They cannot continue to threaten the stability of the entire region.
Starting point is 00:29:04 And they must make a deal. Or if that doesn't happen, I maybe can understand. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. But bad things will happen. if it doesn't. Yeah. So a lot of people feel that this is the closest we have gotten to any kind of actual escalation,
Starting point is 00:29:25 any kind of war with Iran. And for that reason, you're looking at oil prices going up right now, so pressure on that sector, the expectation would be the Strait of Hamuzo course would be closed and that that would result in higher oil prices. And that would be certainly destabilizing
Starting point is 00:29:41 in terms of what the president's been trying to do on inflation, right? You've seen oil come down remarkably, But if you think about everything that's happened up until this point, I look back at Venezuela and getting Maduro out and getting the agreement in place with Delci Rodriguez there to make sure that they opened up the region. It's known as the Ornoka region. It's actually the largest source of oil in the world, bigger, bigger than Saudi Arabia. It's just really heavy, thick tar. And I've been there. And I can remember holding up a coffee cup and turning it upside down and like nothing came out, right? That's how thick this stuff is. But we have the technology. We have the
Starting point is 00:30:15 capability to get this stuff thinned out. It's expensive to do and it's not easy to do, but that is sort of an oil source in our backyard. And when I look at the sort of staging and the timing of all of this, they waited on Iran, the escalation with Iran until they had gotten Venezuela done. Something that I was always perplexed by. I could not figure out why Biden couldn't get to first base with Venezuela when he knew. He knew that he was going to be sanctioning Russia and they were going to cut off oil from Russia going anywhere. in the world, right? So why wouldn't you, in that case, like, put the cart before the horse and do the proper things to not ensure that oil is going to go through the roof? Instead, they did
Starting point is 00:30:54 everything wrong. Not only did they not get Venezuela, they actually went out and cut off all oil that we could possibly drill here in the United States of America. Like, that made any sense. And you wonder why. Between the printing, the money press that kept going with Jerome Powell and company, and then you had Nancy and Chuck doubling down with their trillions of dollars worth of spending, and then you had the siphoning off, the cutting off of the oil supply here in America and any possibility of getting anything from South America, Latin America, and it was sort of game over, right? That increased all that inflation. And so if you think about this, if there was a method to the madness and they knew that they always wanted to basically get Iran to get rid of its nuclear
Starting point is 00:31:33 capability altogether, and they knew that they might have to escalate this in some way, shape, perform. It was very smart to, one, open up U.S. oil markets and say, we're going to drill baby drill all day long, along with simultaneously going in and saying, okay, we're going to make sure we lock down this Venezuelan oil source as well. So the timing does make sense. Obviously, we don't want to see any escalation. It's difficult to even, you know, you don't want that, right? We don't, and let me reiterate, we don't want that. And yet, at the same time, you've got to make sure that they don't get the nuclear capability because it's game over, frankly, if they do. And so Israel is teaming up with us on this one to try to keep these guys in check.
Starting point is 00:32:15 And I think the president's right. It could be really, really, really bad for them. You heard me mention oil prices. You heard me mention Venezuela. I do want to give a quick shout out to my company, 76 research. The president has talked about the markets going much higher. Let me see if this is, I don't know why the graphics not coming up. I wanted to present you the graphic for 76 research, but I will put it right here because I said I can multitask, right? Let me just get this right up on the screen for you because there's a lot of good stuff in there. And one of you guys yesterday was saying how happy you were.
Starting point is 00:32:47 I think you had the investment protection portfolio, inflation protection portfolio, forgive me. Or was it basic income builder? I'm not sure. All of our portfolios are up, actually. So that's the good news. But go to 76research.com and take a look at the portfolios there if you can.
Starting point is 00:33:04 you have to buy them. We don't manage your money, but we do tell you what we're investing in and what we like in this environment. And we try to be, we don't, we're not going to churn you and we're not like in and out of stocks all the time. We really, when we like something, we like something. Sometimes it'll run up too much. And so we'll diversify out of it and go in and pick something out so else out. So we're not telling you to get rid of it all together, but we may add something else to the portfolio and say reduce your allocation to this one. Hopefully that research can really benefit you and help you. So I encourage you to go there. If you can't do the model portfolios, they're not that much, but if you can't get that research, at least for,
Starting point is 00:33:42 this is my gift to you, okay? And I'm putting this in the show notes too. For a dollar a month, you can get the 76 report. We just put out another note this week at the 76 report. So go take a look at that 76 report. And if you can't afford any of it, then even a dollar a month, which I know you can. Go to invest in maga.com. You see, I want you to have this opportunity. I want you to be investing. And I don't want to feel like your mom here or Susie Orman or something, but dollar cost averaging into the markets is a really smart thing to do. And given this escalation of the situation in Iran, I think there's winners and losers in all of this. And so I encourage you to be invested right now and to think through all of that. Wow, Prince Andrew getting arrested today in the
Starting point is 00:34:23 UK. That was the first bit of news I woke up to this morning. And yeah, we're having an issue with our graphics, believe it or not. But that's that's okay. So I wanted to show you some of the headlines that were in the papers, the telegraph reporting on it, the Wall Street Journal reporting on it. He's in trouble because apparently he had access to some really inside information and then was getting that information and passing it on to Epstein saying, hey, you know, you might want to look at investing in this. Well, you can't do that because then you're abusing your position. It was weird to me, though, that they're not arresting him for the situations with the women. They're going after him for the use of,
Starting point is 00:35:01 of intelligence that they had, proprietary information about what the British government might be investing in, et cetera, and then passing that information on to his good sources and friends. So, you know, not for the women, but they're getting him on something, I guess. We shall see how this all transpires. There's something really important, though, that you need to know. So it's weird how they try and twist things. And by they, I mean the media, I mean the left, I mean the Democrats that keep trying to go after Donald Trump for Epstein. I came across some sound this morning that I want to share with you.
Starting point is 00:35:36 This is from years ago, like over a decade ago. 2015, I think, is the date. And Donald Trump was talking about basically how bad Epstein was and, like, somebody ought to be investigating this. And he implicates Andrew in this as well. So it's like he's the one that called the FBI. He called the FBI and they finally got him and congratulated him. He's the one that put the guy back in prison, right? And well, it was under his administration that that happened. And somehow, like, they want to think that that Epstein was protecting him?
Starting point is 00:36:08 Like, it just doesn't add up. I want to play this for you. Again, 2015, the president of the United States talking about Epstein and Andrew. You raised the question of Jeffrey Epstein in your remarks in the Q&A with Sean. I think he's got a problem. I mean, I'm healing.
Starting point is 00:36:22 I don't know, but that island was really a cesspool. There's no question about it. Just to ask Prince Andrew. He'll tell you about it. So he said that. island was a cesspool. This is 2015. Just ask Prince Andrew. He'll tell you about it. It's like he was on to all of them. And so I'm sort of disgusted, amazed. I do feel like they're gaslighting us again or trying to put this into a Russia, Russia, Russia situation and say, okay, somehow Donald Trump is
Starting point is 00:36:52 guilty. It's like, guys, he's the one that was calling the feds on Epstein. He was the one that was telegraphing this stuff about Prince Andrew. I mean, it just doesn't add up. Wow. right like so it's an important just i just want to show you that as an aside on a day when andrew's getting arrested that the president was actually on to him years ago and like he just says it all right he just comes out and says it if you really want to think about this why did epstein hate don't trump so much is it because don't know what was going on and like you know trump had a eye for the ladies don't get me wrong but he certainly didn't seem to have an eye for the young ladies and seemed to actually be annoyed. There was another clip that I saw of him where he was
Starting point is 00:37:37 complaining about how Epstein really liked him young. He kind of, it was too into the very young ladies. And I think that, you know, like there's a right in the wrong, right, in life. And he lives his life, you know, maybe not perfectly. I don't know, you know, like, you know, he ran around on wife number one. We know that and I don't know what happened with Marla and the whole thing. for wife number three, but, you know, I think that it's important to note that they're all full-grown adults. And so, you know, there seems to be no actual evidence of him having anything to do with these young women other than he's on tape saying it's not appropriate, it's wrong. So if you're Jeffrey Epstein and all your friends are Democrats, you kind of hate
Starting point is 00:38:28 them, right? Because you feel like he's the one who's going to take you down and maybe take all your friends down. And so maybe you actually really would aggressively be working, like possibly Reed Hoffman was, to keep him out of office. I'm just saying, like, I'm throwing this out there. I don't love this story. I don't love talking about it. I think that basically, probably we did know. I'm just saying, I don't know. I'm just saying it is what, what adds up to what? I think we probably knew. I think probably other intel communities around the world knew. I don't think that he would have been living and doing all of that in New York without our blessing, if you would, because maybe he was getting information for some people, including us and including other intel organizations,
Starting point is 00:39:09 that we found valuable. But it's like, you know, we had plausible deniability. We didn't want to, you know, and this is a tough thing for people to hear and admit and understand. But, you know, it was bad stuff. Anyway, like I said, I don't really love talking about it. But I think it's important to know what Donald Trump was saying about Prince Andrew that many years ago. So don't let him gaslight you. Like don't let him say that nobody in the media has ever said that, you know, he's racist. I mean, they say it all the time. And now they want to wash that one clean?
Starting point is 00:39:41 I'm not having it. I refuse to have it. And I'm going to always hold them accountable. And I appreciate you being here because we're going to hold them accountable, okay, together.
