I mean, talking about poorly played, right? The Democrats, I almost can't believe it. It's sort of surreal to watch this right now because it's like this total train wreck and you're like, guys, you know, not that I want to help them, but like clearly I could, right? Anybody could because they just need to be saved from themselves at this moment in time. Welcome to the program. I am Trish Regan. This is a Trish Rigan show. We got lots going on. We get the Democrats getting called out on live TV like places like CNN for goodness sakes for all their lives. You're not going to believe these clips. I mean, I just can't wait to show you. AOC.
is one of them, meanwhile, who's getting called out. The lady who somehow thinks she's running the
whole thing, right? She's the one in charge of this, because if anybody wants to negotiate,
they just need to go see her in her office. Oh, yeah, Nancy Pelosi didn't like that so much the other
day, nor did some of the others. But she's getting called out too by like CNN. I mean, what the heck
is going on? Meanwhile, we got a big old boycott happening at Netflix. It led by one Elon Musk.
I'm looking at the stock price down, despite a market being up, this thing may have some legs,
My goodness, right?
My goodness.
Well, we begin with the humiliation of the Democrats here,
one after another.
Just line them up if you would because you've got a total triumph going on for one Donald Trump
while the Democrats get shattered in these humiliating television moments.
I mean, you can't make it up.
Like really and truly, you cannot imagine such a bad set of facts for a bunch of people.
And they forget.
They just forget that there's this little thing called tape.
or whatever you want to call it.
Encoding, streaming, whatever.
The reality is the truth exists.
And so when they try and tell us something that's totally fake,
like, oh, Democrats don't support health care for illegals,
well, you know, they get caught out with their own words.
I want to go to Lawrence over on Fox on the morning show,
who did a very nice job calling out one Gene Sheen.
I like to call her Jeannie because we go way back.
New Hampshire. It's a New Hampshire thing. Okay. And, you know, live for your die state, great state, great place. But for her to say this, I'm sorry. Like, Lawrence, good one, okay? Look at the clip. He played her. Let's watch it together.
I haven't heard anybody in my party saying that illegal immigrants should get access to the health insurance marketplace.
I'm so glad you said that actually I have some tape of your Democratic Party members saying this on the debate state. So they've all said, and let's play the clip.
A lot of you have been talking tonight about these government health care plans that you've proposed in one form or another.
This is a show of hands question and hold them up for a moment so people can see.
Raise your hand if your government plan would provide coverage for undocumented immigrants.
Senator, that's literally every member of your party from moderate to more progressive that have said that in the past.
Yeah.
That was good.
That was good.
I'm nervous there because, you know, I do watch your live chat in real time.
And Cat Crazy, you were complaining that you didn't have any sound.
So you better have sound, because if you don't have sound, I'm going to be really upset.
I did ask you all, and you guys are saying their sound, so that's a good thing.
You almost didn't have a picture for a second, but we fixed that.
Anyway, this is unbelievable.
They're totally being shattered.
I mean, that was, and you know, Jeannie, like, again, I like, and personal anecdote here for you.
You know, some of you may know, some of you may not know.
the family that I grew up in, I've talked about this before, very sort of liberal blue-collar roots.
And my uncle at one point, actually at two points, maybe at three points, actually ran for governor.
In one of those campaigns, he was actually the Democrat nominee for governor.
And I was about 10 years old.
And Jeannie, that's what we call her back home, she ran the campaign.
So I was there like licking envelopes and stamping things and making cold calls to voters
to see if they would vote for my uncle who has, you know,
kind of, God rest of soul, wonderful man, really, really wonderful, wonderful man,
but had a different sort of view on the world than I eventually came to have.
And, you know, Jeannie Shaheen was his campaign manager, right?
So, like, small world.
So I hate to see her getting so embarrassed, but I'm sorry.
Like, you can't just sit there and tell us.
You cannot tell us.
You cannot lie to us.
You cannot tell us, Senator Shaheen, that nobody supports this, when, in fact, they all support.
It's a huge part of their platform.
This is what they wanted, hey, you know, if Kamala was there, might be a very different story, right?
I want to go to a very important sound by it of Senator Kennedy on Capitol Hill today where he kind of just broke this down.
I thought this was one of the best analysis that I've seen.
And I think before we go into all the other sound that I want to show you, it's really important to understand like what's at stake here, really, and what this is about.
Because this continuing resolution, they could have like kept the government open.
And they're choosing not to, right?
They're deliberately choosing not to.
And this is what's going to cost them in the long run
because they look like they're out there
fighting for everybody except for American citizens.
Senator Kenny says it so well.
This is a brilliant explanation.
Let's watch together.
Now, we've had a few shutdowns before,
and every shutdown is different.
But most shutdowns are,
they are a combination of both policy and politics
in varying degrees.
Yeah.
this shutdown in terms of policy makes absolutely no sense. None. What we have proposed to our
Democratic colleagues and the minority leader, Senator Schumer, is to make no changes to the current
budget. We just want to continue the current budget and keep government open until just before
Thanksgiving to give us more time to negotiate a permanent budget. We did that many times when
President Biden was president and when the Democrats had the majority. In fact, we did it 13 times.
Not only have Republicans done it, but Democrats have routinely done it. But this time,
the Democrats have said, no, no, no, no. We want more.
And you may be thinking, okay, that's reasonable.
What do you want?
Well, it's not reasonable.
In effect, what the Democrats are saying to us
is that we're going to close government
unless you agree, you Republicans agree, to make it bigger.
We don't want the status quo.
We want you to commit to spending
$1.5 trillion
more than you're spending now.
And we, the Democrats, are saying,
are going to tell you how to spend it.
Whoa.
Okay.
So Senator Kennedy, I just thought, did a great job
because he articulated everything that's going on.
In other words, the Democrats are making this happen.
As much as they want to turn around and blame Trump,
it's not flying, it's not working.
And what it comes down to, is that 1.5 billion?
trillion dollars. Money that would go to illegals for their health care. And you can slice and dice
this any way you want. They say it's a lie. A lie, a lie, a lie. Well, guess what? They just got called
out by none other than CNN because it's not a lie because all this money would go to all these
different states that are then going to put it into their various programs to allow for illegals to
have free health care. And people are not okay with that, not for $1.5 trillion. So AOC, deal with it. Here she is,
lying. Again, the punch line.
is she gets found out by none other than that liberal network CNN.
No.
Not even a little bit.
Not even at all.
This is what Republicans love to do.
Whenever we fight to elevate the minimum wage,
to expand social security,
to make health care better in this country,
in order to derail that,
Republicans love to dangle this shiny object that says,
but what if someone not like you gets it?
The fact of the matter is undocumented people do not and cannot access and be covered by the ACA, Medicaid, Medicare, period.
There are dozens of laws in the books that enforce that.
And that can be a whole other conversation.
However, the fact is the Democratic proposal doesn't change that either.
We are trying to change the immediate cliff where the ACA,
as well as community health center funding and other kinds of health care funding are about to go off
a cliff and hurt millions of people. Yeah, so that's what she says. That's what she says, right? But you
already heard the very brilliant explanation from one Senator Kennedy, and the reality is AOC is totally wrong.
AOC is flat out wrong, and as I explained to you, well, there may be a law saying the federal government
can't give the money to illegals. Guess what? Doesn't bar the states from doing it, and all this money's
going to the states. And guess what they're going to do?
Yeah. And you know, that's not going over so well in good old California where they're struggling big time.
But you know, AOC, well, she thinks she's the Queen B that's run the whole show, right?
If somebody has an issue, they can go and talk to her.
What I'm not going to do is tolerate four million uninsured Americans because Donald Trump decided one day that he wants to just make sure that kids are dying because they don't have access to insurance.
That's what's not going to happen.
And so if those senators think that we're having a shutdown because of me, they're free to enter my office and negotiate because what we're not going to do is allow all of millions of people in this country to not be able to afford their insulin and their chemotherapy.
So come strike a deal with me if that's what they really think is going on.
You heard her.
You heard her.
Okay.
Come deal with me because I'm the one in charge.
I'm running this whole darn show.
Forget you, Chuck Schumer.
Well, I'm after your seat.
Watch out, Chuckie. You know, your polls are not looking so good. I have a feeling, AOC could take you for a ride there. And that's exactly what he's afraid of, for goodness sakes. Oh, and Nancy Pelosi, what's she supposed to do with this young little bartender coming up out of nowhere, right? Nancy being asked about who's really in charge here. Listen to her answer.
It was a thought from the Republicans that AOC is directing this. And she said that senators are welcome to go to her office directly. Is she driving that?
Why are you saying such a ridiculous thing?
I'm just quoting what AOC said.
She said go to her office directly.
Do you think there's any credibility to that?
She's wonderful.
She's a real team player and the rest of that.
You started by saying we...
I thought she was going to say she's a real peach.
Yeah, she's real wonderful.
We really love that AOC.
She's the team player all right.
I mean, she's holding us all hostage right now
because she's starting to Chuck Schumer.
She's coming for his job.
But listen to the rest.
can say that she's directing this.
She is not how King Jeffries is.
And this takes a lot of experience, a lot of unity from the caucus in terms of the point of view.
And that's what this is.
She's an articulate spokesperson for her point of view.
How King Jeffries.
Wow, Nancy, I think you're kind of bothered.
A little hot under the collar there when it comes to AOC.
I don't like her either, so I'm with you, but you guys get yourself a little problem because you've gotten boxed in.
Okay, and your lies are getting exposed. AOC's lies are getting exposed.
Hakeem Jeffrey's lies are getting exposed, and you know where it's happening?
Believe it or not, it's happening on CNN.
I mean, I kind of think there's one haker.
Jake Tapper is angling for a new gig at Fox.
You know, he's no fool.
He sees where the handwriting's on the wall and nobody's watching his show and nobody's watching CNN.
And so, you know, suddenly he started to change his stripes, looking for a new gig buddy boy.
Anyway, he takes down Hakeem Jeffries quite nicely with facts right here.
Watch.
Donald Trump blessed it as well.
So let me ask you about a provision that the Republicans are talking about quite a bit.
I know you want to talk about and Democrats want to talk about extending the Obamacare subsidies,
which expire at the end of 2025.
But they talk about the provisions, and it's right here, subtitle E, and this has to do with the repeal of
health care subtitle changes and specifically what it is.
They're they characterized it is you want to give health insurance
to undocumented immigrants.
I understand that's not really an accurate depiction, but what it does do is it's a
lie.
It's a lie.
Not really a lie because again, what I told you about the states getting all the money.
Okay, let's go on.
What you support does bring back funding for emergency Medicaid to hospitals,
some of which does pay for undocumented immigrants and people who don't have health insurance.
And also there is this provision and it's not about undocumented immigrants.
It's about people with asylum seekers and people with temporary protected status, et cetera, et cetera,
but about their ability to get Medicaid.
So they're non-citizens.
They're not undocumented.
They're not illegal.
Why even include that in a bill knowing that they're going to seize right upon that and use that to message?
I understand that.
Yeah.
Why?
Like, why? They have no answer. They have no answer. It's all about just, you know, we got to do the right thing by all these people. And by the way, you know, we used to have this money, so why can't we just keep it going? Right? We want this money to keep on coming because we put it in back during March 2020 when all H.EWL was breaking loose. So why can't we just keep it forever? And Donald Trump's like, no, you're not keeping it. You're not keeping it, especially knowing where it's going. All I can say is, you know what? I think people like them better.
with the sombrero.
Look, guys, there's no way to sugarcoat it.
Nobody likes Democrats anymore.
We have no voters left because of all of our woke trans.
Not even black people want to vote for us anymore.
Even Latinos hate us.
So we need new voters.
And if we give all these illegal aliens free health care,
we might be able to get them on our side so they can vote for us.
They can't even speak English.
So they won't realize we're just a bunch of woke pieces of shit.
you know, at least for a while until they learn English and they realize they hate us too.
My God, that is funny. I'm sorry. You know what? I wasn't going to show you this, but I just, I have to.
So long as we went to the original meme. And so long as I'm telling you know what, more people see Hakeem Jeffries when he's in these memes than see him on CNN, certainly any day of the week.
But Hakeem tried to go on MSNBC and attack Donald Trump for that meme that he posted.
and these guys are just no match for him, right?
Like, he doubled down, big time.
And it's just going to make you laugh.
And if you've already seen it, I'm sorry, but you know what?
It's a lot of fun to watch again.
It's a disgusting video, and we're going to continue to make clear.
Bigotry will get you nowhere.
We are fighting to protect the health care of the American people
in the face of an unprecedented Republican assault.
Their lies are getting exposed.
by CNN and by their own words, because for whatever reason, this team of people doesn't seem to get that, you know, they said one thing as recently as this last election season and they can't completely change their minds on the fly just because, you know, it sounds better right now, not to mention what's actually written into the legislation, which would provide, right, for all of this money to be going to all of these hospitals all over the country who are then turning around and giving the money to people who are here illegally.
And that's not going to fly, certainly not with voters.
I mean, you look at the Democrats right now,
and we've seen in the poll numbers, they're really underwater.
New York Times can't believe that Trump's approval rating hasn't budged.
Like, they just can't believe this.
They don't understand it.
And partly it's because people see him as tough on crime.
People see him as enforcing the border.
They like that he's going to stand by and say,
you know, we're not going to give $1.5 trillion more in health care
to all these illegals, et cetera.
So as a result of that, I think actually he's got the American public with him right now.
The Democrats don't because so many Democrat voters right now are saying,
well, what about us?
What about me?
Like, don't you care about us?
And I guess the short answer, in a way, right?
And the short answer to that is it certainly doesn't feel like they do.
I mean, I'm going to be even more bold, and I'm going to say that, no, they don't.
don't care. They don't care at all about you. We did a little short on this just yesterday,
and I want to play this for you because I think, actually, let me just play you the whole message
here. This is Caroline Levitt, who is the PR person, right, for the Trump White House, and she had to
record a message, and I'm sure she did not want to record, but she had to do it yesterday because
this is the reality of where we are right now.
for calling the White House comment line.
Hello, America.
This is White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.
Democrats in Congress have shut down the federal government
because they care more about funding health care for illegal immigrants
than they care about serving you, the American people.
Until Democrats vote for the clean Republican-backed continuing resolution
to reopen the government, the White House is unable to answer your call
or respond to your questions.
We look forward to hearing from you again very soon.
And in the meantime, please know, President Trump will never stop fighting for you.
Thank you and God bless you.
I mean, it shouldn't have to be this way, right?
It should not have to be this way.
So again, you got everyday folks out there saying, what about us?
Don't we matter?
Don't we matter at all?
It doesn't feel like they matter, right?
Especially when you look at some of the funding that's getting cut,
including, by the way, for women and children.
The whole WIC program possibly getting wiped out.
Here's CNN talking about this,
and I want to show you the response from Democrat voters
because they're not happy.
The government shutdown could mean a federal program
that provides food assistance to low-income mothers
and children that could run out of money in days.
Sources tell CNN, White House budget chief,
Russ vote, warned House Republicans yesterday
could happen by next week.
The most recent government data,
shows that nearly 7 million women, infants and children, were eligible, I should say, for WIC
benefits. Folks are really concerned about in the long run, can they rely on this program to get
their needs met? We know that for babies, WIC provides 100% of their nutritional needs, whether that's
supporting their mom with lactation consulting, if they're breastfeeding, or providing potentially
medical specialty infant formula. So that could be a real crisis.
Okay. Okay. So we get a real crisis. So some of those Democrats,
are saying, why are you allowing this to happen?
They're not too happy about it at all.
In fact, take a look at this one.
Hey, Dems, you want to why your polls are so low?
Listen to this lady.
The Democrats want to give away $1.4 billion of free motherfuck
money to the immigrants for health care.
And if not, if the other side don't agree with it,
they're talking about shutting down the motherfuck of government.
Why the fuck do you fight so hard for everybody but your own mother.
people. What about us? What about us? That's what everybody's asking. That's what you're
a poll dollars of free motherfuckin money. What about us? What about us? That's what everybody's
asking. That's what your polls keep tanking. Yeah. I mean, what about us? This is, in fact,
why everybody is so upset right now. Because you cannot be out there working hard on behalf of everybody
else. And I mean, I know that everybody thinks of this umbrella like AI meme. It's a joke. I get it.
But it's rooted in truth. It's rooted in at least the perception of where the Democrat Party is right now.
So that woman's mad. And we're seeing person after person after person come out and say, you know,
I used to be a Democrat. And I just feel completely abandoned by my party. And I am moving on.
Here's another woman who says she's got, she's got the new fight song for the Dems.
I'm Debbie Democrat, and I'm here to teach you our new fight song for the Democrat Party.
What?
Non-Americans first.
Non-Americans first.
If you are a citizen, we don't like you.
Non-Americans first, non-Americans first, because you're the ones who vote for us.
Okay, okay, you got it?
I mean, this is really, I cannot believe that, like, people can be so tone-deaf.
I mean, whether it's the boys and girls' sports, whether it's the, we got to protect our pronouns,
or whether it's we are going to fight for people who are here illegally, as opposed to the people that are here legally.
It just doesn't add up.
And when you see yourself tanking in the polls, that should be obvious.
I mean, this is the beauty of our great republic, right?
In our democracy, guess what, we get to vote you out.
And you got voted out for one reason because you were doing a lousy job on the economy,
actually several reasons.
You weren't controlling the border and you had massive inflation.
So all of a sudden, Donald Trump comes in.
He reduces inflation.
He cleans up the border situation.
And what do you know?
He's actually saying, no, we're not going to spend crazy amounts of money like $1.5 trillion
on a bunch of things that can actually go to illegal's benefits.
And so that's where we are right now.
And the Democrats are left asking, well, why?
Why?
Why?
Why?
Why?
Why? What about us, right? The Democrat voters, I think I'm going to switch. I think I'm going to switch parties because this one just doesn't represent me anymore at all. And that's really, really clear. I mean, hey, they can't get any traction. I'm thinking about the stream they tried to do the other day. Do you know that Hakeem Jeffries went live with this whole like shutdown thing and you'd think people would care? Like, I mean, it's the Democrats doing their big stream about the shutdown. Do you know that fewer than 200 people? We have more people watching this right now. Like, multiples of that.
right now, okay? Fewer than 200 people tuned in to watch Hakeem Jeffries with his live extravaganza.
I mean, look at that. He even got Twalwell to show up for it to talk about the shutdown.
Nobody came and watched. So the U.S. government shutdown, as you know, the other night at 12.01 a.m.
on Wednesday after Senate Democrats blocked a GOP led stopgap funding bill.
They went live with the stream and no one cared. Literally no one cared.
House Democrat leader, Hakeem Jeffries, hosted a live stream in the hours before and after.
I mean, this was like a, you know, big show.
And it were only 156 viewers.
90 minutes before the shutdown began, I mean, wouldn't you think that people might be tuning in?
In total, the Daily Color reports that they actually garnered fewer than 100 views after running continuously for several hours
through the early hours of Wednesday morning.
It shows you people just don't trust them right now, do they?
Because they don't feel like they're looking out for them.
And right now we're in a situation where they didn't have to do,
as Senator Kennedy articulated earlier,
they just didn't have to do this.
They could have actually had a clean CR,
and we could have moved forward and come up with some real solutions for the budget,
but they didn't do that.
And now we are where we are with lots of programs
possibly being shut down.
And guess what else?
There's jobs that could just go away.
I mean, really and truly go away for good.
The guy who's running the OMB, that would be Russ Vaut,
he is working hard on coming up with some new strategic ideas
on who to get rid of.
And he's been given the authority effectively to do this
because of this unique situation.
I want to go right now to my former co-host, believe it or not, back at CNBC,
good guy Larry Caldow, who just had none other than Mike Johnson on his show saying that, yeah,
there's a lot of things that are going to go watch.
This is the expert. He's our dear friend, and he's in an unenviable situation.
It's not one that he relishes.
Look, you and I and Russ and all conservatives, we've always wanted to limit the size and scope of government,
but we'd rather do it through the legislative process and not under duress like this.
So what Russ has to do, because he's the director of the Office of Management and Budget,
he has to do what anybody in his position in this situation would do.
That is, to look at the balance sheet, to figure out how to make the dollars go to the services
and the positions and the policies that are essential versus those that are not.
Now, Russ is going to look at that through the same lens that Larry Cutlow and Mike Johnson would look at it
because he's going to say, you know, which one of these makes sense?
Which one of these follow the policy priorities of President Trump and this administration?
Because that's who he works for.
Now, if you had a Democrat, a big government woke progressive liberals sitting in that seat,
they look at that balance sheet very differently.
But Russ Fote has been given the authority to do this.
And he's been given that authority by one man.
His name is Chuck Schumer.
Chuck Schumer led the Democrats in the Senate to hand that pen to Russ vote.
And I think there could be some good that comes out of it if we limit the size and scope of government.
But it is not a job that he relishes.
No, I mean, but it's where we are right now. Okay, that's the reality of what's happening. And
there is one group to blame and one group only because they could have, they could have kept
things going, but they had to dig in their heels. You know, a lot of questions have come up,
right, about the efficacy overall of health care and health care for illegals and people are here
illegally, so what do you do? Are we responsible for them? This turned into a giant, you know what show
on CNN? It was kind of crazy, but what I found most interesting was that the liberal host of this show,
who typically is on one side only all of the time, she actually, we see her agreeing with our friend
Scott Jennings. So this is like a rare moment in time, okay, because the question becomes like,
okay, I mean, you may think it's ethically great to be able to cover the whole world, right?
Why not bring everyone here and give them free health care and free housing and free food stamps?
And the whole nine yards, I mean, it's a lovely, very, very altruistic thing to do.
But, you know, then reality hits and reality bites.
Somebody's got to pay for it.
And she comes to this realization, not everybody there does.
No, you know, it is CNN and it's kind of a not how.
house, but it's interesting that she at least acknowledges that somebody has to pay for it.
And you know who that is.
Everyone deserves health care.
Even illegals?
Every single person in the world deserves health care.
Just for the record, as a candidate, you're for illegal aliens getting Medicaid.
I think everyone in the world deserves health care.
That's a yes.
I'm such a moderate.
I mean, it is a yes, but yeah.
It's a democratic position.
Illegal aliens should get Medicaid.
But I mean, I don't, I don't, but how is it controversial?
How is it controversial?
She doesn't understand how saying everybody who here is here illegally might be a little bit controversial.
Well, let's hear more.
Controversial, they don't want to die in the hospital, they can't afford it.
What do you think pays for health care when undocumented people show up at a hospital?
Bingo.
Who pays for that?
We all pay for it.
Binggoly.
We all pay for it.
They actually contribute.
That's the point.
That's the point.
We do realize that.
I just to remind.
Who pays for the welfare's cuts in this country generally?
I want to remind you.
She needs to hear that, though.
Like, she needs to say that.
Everybody needs it. She said, I, everybody pays for it. Now, let's see where it goes from there.
Are you for it or not? Can I start my logic train? Are you forward or not?
My logic train starts with the fact that I don't want to, I don't want to kick 11 million people off of Medicaid.
Do you want illegal aliens on or not?
Do I want, first of all, do I want undocumented citizens to have health care? The answer is yes.
Scott, if someone is un-documented, do you want them to not get insulin if they're diabetic?
I want Medicaid to exist first and foremost for American citizens who need it.
What about second?
How about this?
When the people that are picking your peaches.
Yeah, I'm passionate about Americans.
Very passionate for the illegals.
No, I'm passionate for Americans.
How dare you want people to be alive?
How dare you?
Passenger for the illegals.
Three more.
No, I actually want safe and secure borders.
You need more.
To make your vision of America work, we need more illegals who get more benefits.
That's your version of America.
No, what I want from America is a place that was promised to us, Scott.
To the illegal?
No, it was promised to us.
It was promised to us.
It's not us, me and you.
black and white, brown.
Scott, do you think that your family was born here?
You weren't born here, Scott.
I was born in office.
First of all, what did your family come from?
My family wasn't born here.
My family was actually from Sierra Leone.
You're making a passionate argument.
Correct.
About what our country is built on unfettered illegal immigration,
and that is not anywhere near a politically popular position.
Our country is built on immigration, period.
What kind?
Period.
What kind?
Oh, first of all, where we go to commercial?
Legal.
What kind of?
What kind of?
of immigration?
Was I brought here?
You're already in the hole.
You sure you won't want to stop digging?
No, because it was slavery.
That's not immigration?
Come on.
Come on.
Well, there's a lot to be sad.
Come on, no, no.
But you just can't say, come on.
When somebody's like, my family was brought here in change, the answer is not, come on.
We're going to.
Wow.
Okay, so the interesting thing there is it that the host seems to recognize the, you know what?
It costs something.
Right?
It costs something to have health care.
And then that guy.
That guy.
who thinks that somehow everyone is dessert.
I mean, it just doesn't make any sense.
Here's the, you know, when did it suddenly become okay to immigrate to the U.S.
illegally?
Like, I don't understand how this is even controversial.
Like, you can be all for immigration, but you want legal immigration, right?
You don't want illegal immigration.
The hazards that that comes with are enormous.
This should not even be up for debate, but, you know,
these people want to make it up for debate because they think that these,
ethical concerns about we're going to take care of everyone. Well, maybe you shouldn't come here
because we can't take care of you. Right? I mean, this is getting a little bit silly,
but this is where we are. The media, meanwhile, they're losing it. The media is like trying
to have to confront reality in a way that they really haven't done before, including over on MSNBC.
They have that little show in the morning that used to be kind of popular like many years ago, but
has just fallen like completely off the rails because nobody's watching because they don't really
have any influence anymore. And I think that's one of the reasons why you're starting to see
Joe Scarborough migrate back to his conservative roots all of a sudden, all of a sudden.
But a little trouble in paradise, it appears, because the wifey is not on board. It's a husband and wife
team. You know, they met on the show. She worked for him. She was like a newsreader. And well,
We won't go there.
But anyway, hubby and the wife, they seem to be having some disagreements over what the Democrats should do right now.
I mean, I think Joe gets it.
I think Mika gets it too.
I think this is in part theater.
But let's go to the New York Post clip of these two, mixing it up on Morning TV.
Democrats for this.
What exactly are the Democrats supposed to do?
You keep ruby. They're supposed to fight back. Yes. They're supposed to know.
They're supposed to do like. Like what exactly? No, no, Bill Clinton, Bill Clinton just completely
abused and used Republicans and every government shutdown. I know I was there.
It seems to me that she was almost on the verge of tears. What are Democrats supposed to do?
he starts freaking out anyway i think it's also for show i mean let's be honest their ratings are
a disaster i think they recognize that they kind of have to bring back this tension maybe bring back
some debate hey you can have a debate between meika and joe every day maybe somebody will tune in
to watch that joe understands fundamentally i think economics by the way he understands which way
the wind blows i mean these these two are no fools right they were down there at mara lago
you know like the day after the election he actually showed up in a suit and tie
the day after the election and talked about,
we haven't seen anything like this since Reagan.
I mean, he totally changed his tune.
And I would expect that that show is going to try to be more realistic
because they want to still have some influence and some presence
and not be seen as a total joke like so many of the shows that are on in the evening.
Oh, I don't know.
Could it be Rachel Maddo or Jen Saki that are just plunging in ratings
as this company spins off and versent.
is going to spin off in like the next few weeks, separate from NBC,
it's going to have to be able to stand on its own two feet.
And if you have a show that, one, is just doing horribly in the ratings,
and two, has no influence anymore,
then I think you're going to be confronted with a pretty harsh reality.
So I don't know as there's trouble in paradise.
I'm sure their marriage is doing just fine.
I think there are a couple of performers that know that maybe they ought to bring some fire to the screen,
and maybe this is an opportune time.
Anyway, I got some more fire at a time.
you about. Do you see this guys? Ice is coming to the Super Bowl. Oh yeah, Bad Bunny. You said he didn't
want to perform, right? I do recall. Bad Bunny making it very clear that he didn't want to perform
anywhere in the United States of America because of ice. But yet somehow he was willing to
accept a gig with the NFL. Surprising to me, given that he was on, you know,
a big, big platform saying he would never come to the U.S.
He doesn't need the U.S.
He's a Puerto Rican rapper and disgusting.
Like, I speak Spanish, not Puerto Rican Spanish.
Like these words as I end, and I've talked to people from Puerto Rico,
like these words are even worse in the Puerto Rican slang than you can even imagine.
And I won't even tell you what they are because they're just not appropriate to discuss anywhere.
But they're in his songs.
And he's called the president some names.
and I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to pull this on NBC.
I mean, speaking of Mika and Joe and Versent getting spun off and MSNBC getting spun off.
I mean, NBC's going to be right back in the thick of it because they're the ones that are broadcasting the Super Bowl.
And so if they're broadcasting the Super Bowl, hey, hey, hey, Brendan Carr, I think we've got an FCC violation in the works.
Well, regardless of that, ICE is going to make his life a little bit difficult, especially given, right, that they, he came right out and said,
Let's play the clip. Let's play the clip.
He's never coming to the US to perform because of ice.
Well, unless he gets asked to do the Super Bowl.
I'm never performing in the US again.
I'm scared, scared that ice might raid the venue outside my show.
And honestly, I can risk the safety of my fans like that.
Mainland America just doesn't feel necessary to me anymore.
I've already performed there plenty of times.
fans in the U.S. have had lots of chances to see me live.
That being said, I still care deeply about my Latino and Puerto Rican fans living in the States.
Seeing me performing Puerto Rico is always an option.
That's why in my upcoming world tour, there are no stops in the continental U.S.
Except for the Super Bowl.
But, you know, buddy, people could get busted because ice is going to be there.
you know, I don't think you want Tom Homan after you.
Tom Homan means business.
You know who else means business?
Christy Home, okay?
She's been all over this.
So guys, you know, you're going to have to deal.
Bad Bunny.
You know, this was a bad pick, NFL.
This was a bad pick.
Just another example.
It says there were so many reasons why I didn't show up in the U.S.
And none of them were out of hate.
All of the shows have been successful.
We were talking and we were very concerned that the malice,
little eyes could be outside of my concerts.
He told one publication.
Wow.
Okay.
So he does have really disgusting language, FYI.
Now, Holman's coming for him.
Now, Christy Noem is coming for him.
I want to go to a clip of our friend, Corey Lewandowski, from New Hampshire.
We've got a lot of New Hampshire people on the show today.
Jeannie and Corey, myself.
And my friend Benny, he was just over on Benny's show.
And this is pretty good.
He's like, yeah, it's happening.
And by the way, Corey, I believe still is one of the people working for the Department of Homeland Security with Christy Noem.
So guess what?
This is real.
ICE have enforcement at the Super Bowl for the bad bunny Super Bowl halftime show.
Benny, there is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally, not the Super Bowl and nowhere else.
We will find you.
We will apprehend you.
We will put you in a detention facility and we will deport you.
So know that that is a very real situation under this administration, which is completely contrary to what how it used to be.
That said, you know, look, the NFL has been so woke for so many years.
They finally decide to make a comeback.
They finally had people stand up for our great national anthem.
But remember, these guys, Colin Kaepernick used to say, well, I wasn't being chosen to play on the NFL team because I was kneeling.
No, you sucked.
And that's why you weren't being played.
You know, that's why no team wanted to pick you up because they're a business is the bottom line.
And so here's where we are, Benny.
I used to love watching NFL games.
I used to love watching baseball games.
And when sports got into wokeness, I stopped doing it.
Now, I still participate in the Fantasy Football League with some of the guys that I've known for 25 years and want my players to win.
But it's so shameful that they've decided to pick somebody who just seems to hate America so much to represent them at the halftime game.
I was at the Super Bowl last year of President Trump.
I had the chance to be in Louisiana in his box and watch the game and got to enjoy that.
But listen, we should be trying to be inclusive and not exclusive.
There are plenty of great bands and entertainment people out there who could be playing at that show that would be bringing people together and not separating them.
It doesn't make any sense to me because he's Puerto Rican.
So he has an American passport.
So he lives in American territory.
He was born in American territory.
Yeah.
You're fine.
Can you explain that?
But you know, we could see AOC doing the exact same thing, right?
We've got plenty of people that are born in America and somehow.
hate America. And he's born in Puerto Rico has a lot of songs about how America's just ruined
Puerto Rico. Okay, well, uh, let's let Corey finish.
Dissidents to me? I don't understand that. Like, how can you do the inside outside thing?
Bro, you're an American. Show me your passport. Do you have some special Puerto Rican passport?
Just report? No, you don't. You have an American passport, you fraud.
It's exactly right. Listen, if he was born in Puerto Rico, he's got a blue passport,
just like the one that said I was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, right? We don't distinguish.
We don't differentiate. You want to go to Puerto Rico? The only thing you can't do coming back from
Puerto Rico's. You can't bring fruit back, but you don't have to go through customs. You don't have to do
anything else. It's an American territory. You can go there as often as you want. There are a whole
bunch of direct flights. There's a beautiful property down there called Dorado. If you've never been,
it's this incredible facility. Puerto Rico. I was just there. It's great. Beautiful. And by the way,
if you're a full-time resident of the territory of Puerto Rico, you don't pay a federal
income. Oh my God. I know. Another reason. By the way, I've done research into this. It's fascinating.
There is no, you have to run your business out of Puerto Rico. Problem is, then you have to really
run your business out of Puerto Rico and live in Puerto Rico.
It's why hedge fund guys, though, love it.
One of the luxuries that people have down there.
And so you see more and more people from the mainland, as they refer to, right, the lower 48,
moving down there for the tax benefit.
So it's an incredible place, but let's not pretend the guys, he's not a U.S. citizen because he is.
Yeah, that's right.
And it's just such a bad move.
It's such a bad move for the NFL for NBC.
I mean, and don't forget, like Iager's in this, too.
I go over at Disney because he owns ESPN.
You got the NFL and ESPN trying to do this deal, right?
And they want to go international, by the way.
Like they're trying to put like 16 or 18 games overseas this year.
They were just over in Dublin.
Lovely place.
That's my home from way back when like 400 years ago.
Anyway, no, southeastern part of Ireland.
But if you look at what they're trying to do,
they are trying to actually bring football internationally, international.
And that's kind of a cool thing, right?
But is this the goal? You're going to, okay, we want the Latino community. So therefore, we're going to
totally, totally ruin our halftime show and possibly get an FCC violation. By the way,
possibly jeopardize our ESPN NFL deal because you see, it needs DOJ approval, it needs FCC approval,
and it needs FTC approval. So this might not be like the wisest move right around now, you guys.
They want to acquire ESPN, wants to acquire the NFL network, the NFL's linear red zone channel
distribution, NFL fantasy, NFL will get a 10% equity stake in ESPN, assuming this all happens,
but again, it's got to go through, and they're picking a really bad time to pick this fight.
I mean, I don't know what happened. Why can't we go with, oh, Taylor Swift? I mean, that's a lot
for Tushrigan to say she'd take Taylor Swift. I'd take anyone, like literally anyone over
this crude, crude individual. I'll tell you, ABC's a lot of. A.B.C. is a
enough trouble. They're running the risk now of not getting their ESPN deal through, not a
smart move for Iger. They've got, oh, ratings spiraling out of control over a Jimmy Fallon show.
We talked about this the other day. They're down 73% from where they were in that really
important critical category, the demo category. And Colbert's on his way out. That's a disaster
at CBS. In fact, you know what? All of these shows are in such bad.
shape that Jimmy Fallon is picking everyone up. Oh, and Seth Myers. Jimmy Fallon's out there on
CNBC this week trying to say that his show is not political. That he never gets political
because, you know, he's the Johnny Carson model. I'm not so sure about that, but it points to,
shall we say, guys, yet again, the desire for these networks to step away from politics. NBC is
very deliberately trying to get away from politics. They don't want to run the risks that say
Jimmy Kimmel was running.
They're trying to actually,
they're getting away from MSNBC for a reason,
and they're putting Jimmy Fallon out there on CNBC to project what?
Oh, we're apolitical, so you should love our stock price.
Watch.
I am wondering how you're thinking about what you can put in a monologue,
what it's like being on an FCC licensed avenue of broadcasting right now.
You know, our show's never really been that political.
you know, we hit both sides equally, and we try to make everybody laugh.
And that's really the way our show really works.
I mean, really?
Really?
That's just how it is, huh?
Yeah.
Anyway, Taylor Swift chose to go on NBC shows instead of ABC or CBS.
And I'm just warning you, you know, NBC.
You're the ones broadcasting this thing.
This may not have been such a smart idea.
Well, now you're going to have ice there, so the whole thing.
is going to turn into a God knows what show.
Meanwhile, do you hear about this boycott?
A boycott at Netflix underway.
And this is a big one.
We have so many people in the GOP,
so many people, part of the MAGA movement right now,
canceling their subscriptions as we speak.
One, because all the shows are bad,
it's not worth your money.
And two, because Elon Musk has called out some of the programming
on the kids' parts of Netflix.
I mean, these shows are like propaganda for the time.
trans movement. That's just the reality of it. And he's like, no, get rid of your subscription.
You do not need this subscription. We need to actually vote with our feet. Take a look here,
and people are doing it. He said cancel Netflix. And these are all over. He's like actually
retweeting them right now. So if you cancel Netflix, there's a good chance. You're going to get
retweeted by Elon Musk. He's got like 227 followers over on X. And everybody on X is saying,
we're done, we're done, we're done. And here's why. So there's a lot. So there's
this show called Dead and Paranormal Park. It's a show on Netflix and it's been pushing all this
transgender stuff on kids. Like kids as little as it's like rated for ages seven and up. And it's on
Netflix and you know people are on acts saying parents should beware. The other important
thing to know about this particular show is that its creators or its creator is a guy named
Hamish Steel.
And you see a picture of him right there.
And after our friend Charlie Kirk was assassinated, this guy was awful, like really awful.
Like Ilhan Omar awful.
We know what she said, right?
And he called Charlie a Nazi and a meltdown because people were mourning him.
I mean, it's really bad.
So like, you just need to understand the mindset of the creator of this show.
And Netflix has been totally silent.
I actually tweeted this at Reed Hastings, the CEO of Netflix today, because it just seems really gross that the company is not willing to say anything about this.
But you know what? That's okay. That's okay. Because guess what? We can just to show you a little clip.
It's not the park. I'm trans, Norma. And everyone at school knows and everyone at home knows. And being here, it's like a whole new place. I can just be Barney. And I can choose if and when I tell people.
I've never been happier.
Okay.
So in that show, you have a kid who's a transgender,
talking about how he just wants to be accepted for him.
Like, don't get me wrong.
Like, I think we're a pretty empathetic country.
And people, you know, if you are, if you have any empathy at all, right?
Like, I don't think you're going to be harsh.
But, like, why are we trying to tell kids, hey, maybe you're this way?
I mean, it's not just that show, okay?
There's other shows like.
this. Let me show you this one also on Netflix. And this one, you got a scene with a little girl
who's telling off the doctors because they dare to suggest her little friend who is biologically
a boy, but identifies as a girl. How dare they suggest that he is a she. Watch.
It took a while, but we finally found a file for a Bailey Deldecu. Is 32 Burnhill Road
still the current address? Yeah. Have you been getting influence? If he's dehydrated,
we'll need to place an IV. Have him changing
into this.
I don't want to
um, well.
I hear someone's not feeling well.
Let's take a look
with the little man.
Okay, so you see.
She, she's not like, I need to talk to you outside.
We're going to go talk outside.
Because how dare
you call him the little man?
Here we go, here we go.
This is kids.
You guys are busy.
But as you would see,
if you looked at her and not her chart,
Bailey is not a boy.
And my truth.
treating her like one, you are completely ignoring who she is.
You're making her feel insignificant and humiliated.
And that's not going to help her feel good or safe or calm.
So I'm here on now.
Please recognize her for who she is.
Okay.
Propaganda City, Netflix.
Oh my gosh.
And you know what else?
Netflix has been actually pushing this woke stuff for some time.
I mean, if you look at some of their diversity reports,
I'm going to get to that in a second.
It shows that they are all over this woke movement.
And guys, I hate to tell you, but DEI and ESG, it ended.
I mean, even Larry Fink, who runs BlackRock, is no longer interested in that
because it's not making any money.
Even Disney is slowly coming to the conclusion that all these woke films they put out
with so much agenda packed in is not working, okay?
And people don't want it.
But, you know, people are choosing to now cancel these things.
So as a result of all these cancellations, like take a look, like people just canceling, canceling,
canceling, they don't want Netflix anymore.
You have this one guy, his name is Brian Kraserstein, and he's like a, I don't know,
a creator, comedian, media person who's super liberal, very anti-Trump.
And he put out this tweet saying, I just upgraded my Netflix account because I support
freedom of expression and free speech.
I'm not a snowflake who can't take the fact that a cartoon character is.
is transgender, and I am secure in my sexuality, therefore I'm not afraid that such a character
will make me or my kids want to be something that they are not. Thank you for your attention
to this matter. Choose the right plan that's right for you. He said, I just upgraded. Oh,
you know, except that those are like prices from two years ago. Here are the new ones, Brian.
Okay, so he, I guess, upgraded back when it was 1999. It's now 2499. Pre-tax. He's lying.
Like they all do.
I mean, what a schmo, okay?
What a total, utter schmow.
And this is, you know, cancel your subscription.
I hate Netflix anyway right now.
But here's something else you should see.
I found some really interesting stats from one of their old reports that they put out on
inclusivity and diversity and they're so proud of all this stuff.
And it's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, guys.
What is this really about?
Let me see if I can find these charts.
Ah, here we go, here we go, here we go.
And it seems like they're kind of openly discriminating against people.
Take a look at this one.
This is underrepresented leads, co-leads in Netflix series by industry.
And they're so proud.
I mean, look at that.
They have underrepresented groups in 2023.
They got all the way up to, what is it?
Oh, 46.1% over.
all? Yeah, they're really proud of that. Percentages of Netflix series with an underrepresented
lead or co-lead, they have themselves versus the industry standards. Let's look at those numbers
up at the top. In 2023, underrepresented leads or co-leads are 71.4% minority groups. Like at that
point, like it kind of feels like you're discriminating against everyone else, right? Oh, and
they're so proud because the rest of the industry was at 58.1%.
Like, those numbers don't even stack up to sort of what the rest of, you know, society is, right?
Like, it's sort of wild.
Anyway, anyway, Netflix is in a lot of trouble because people have kind of had it, and they are canceling.
And this has actually hurt the stock price.
I was looking at the stock today.
You have market going up overall.
For the last couple of days, this stock has been going down.
It was down nearly 1% today.
So, look, you know, these things catch up with people.
And I think the reality is they're going to get a serious boycott.
People are just over it.
And, you know, you don't need Netflix right now.
Hey, heck, we got YouTube, right?
Stream right here on YouTube.
Make sure you subscribe, share, like, all that important stuff.
One other thing I just want to say, you know, as we look at this, as we look at this shutdown going on, and people are like, oh, what's it going to mean for my money?
Markets higher today, right across the board, okay?
And what do we see yesterday, gold and Bitcoin move up?
You know, there's pockets of opportunity and all this.
I encourage you to go.
and visit my site, 76research.com, use code word dollar.
Then you get the 76 report for just dollar a month for the first two months.
It goes to $9.95 thereafter.
But we have a lot of ideas for you.
We put out a piece on the shutdown and previous shutdowns and where the opportunities
might be for you.
I encourage you to go take a look at that.
It's great to have you here.
It is great.
I mean, guys, we are grown and growing and growing and growing.
And it's all thanks to your support and everything that you guys have been able to do here.
So I really appreciate that.
And we have such a loyal community.
Do we not, right?
Like such a loyal community.
We get a few haters in the chats now and then.
I love when you call attention to them.
And I need your likes.
I need you to like this because we're underwater today in our likes.
We need more likes.
Can you give me a like, guys, because it's really important.
And then please, you know, I do read all the comments on the show after.
And I encourage you to do that.
One other thing I'm going to ask of you guys.
and I think I can give you the link. Can I give you the link right now? I want you to go and check
out my show on Spotify because while it's not actually live live on Spotify, it is there and
it's another great place to consume the Trish Regan show. And you know what would be really great
is if you could go over there and just listen a little bit to an episode and then rate it.
Five stars only, please. Maybe make a comment. Follow the show. It's all free. And it would help
me a lot. It is great to have you. Again, I'm going to be live.
with you again tomorrow, but I'm telling you, Donald Trump is triumphing.
All is right right now, right, with the world. And it's going to get better and better and better
and better as things normalize and we get rid of the extremism and we come back to center stage.
Okay? Thanks for being here. I'm going to see you live on the program again tomorrow.
