Starting point is 00:00:07 Welcome to the big show, everyone. I am Trish Rigan and Ilhan Omar. Can you say bye-bye? Well, the Democrat Party is certainly saying bye-bye to you. Plus, what really happened with Christy Noem? We're going to get into that. And, oh, my goodness, the view. You know, they're so panicked over there at the view that they're going to get taken off the air by the likes of the FCC that they finally, amazingly decided to bring, wait for it? A conservative. On to their airwaves. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I kid you not.
Starting point is 00:00:35 And boy, she's tearing up the joint. Elizabeth Hasselback, I've got to show you some special, special clips. Welcome to the program, everyone. Happy Friday. Good to have you here, quick reminder. If you haven't gone to my 76 research, do that. Just look at the numbers on the screen. We are beating the market over and over and over again.
Starting point is 00:00:52 So I encourage you to get some of those stock picks. If you want to just sign up for free, go to invest in maga.com. If you want to get the 76 report, use code word dollar, D-O-L-L-A-R, my gift to you. Democrats are kicking Ilhan Omar out of the party. The senior statesman has spoken. He wants nothing to do with her. You know, he's doubling down. This is James Carville.
Starting point is 00:01:13 You recall a few months ago, he said something kind of similar. And then he said, okay, after the election, we're going to have to have a real conversation because you can go out there and start your own little thing, but we don't want any party yet. You go start your own party. We don't want you in the Democrat party. And he said this actually for all the squad members. So this is making news today. And, you know, rightly so, given her behavior as of late.
Starting point is 00:01:36 You saw what happened to the State of the Union the other day. We know, of course, she's been coming apart at the seams over the whole Iran situation. In fact, she sent out a tweet this week saying, you know, you guys should have had a place, a plan in place all along for all the Americans that were overseas. You should have known how to evacuate them. Of course, I guess that would assume she was criticizing Caroline Levitt, as Caroline said that they were working overtime to make sure all the Americans were out of the Middle East. I guess that would assume that she would have also wanted to have been notified the 500 plus members of Congress
Starting point is 00:02:05 because she's saying the whole thing's illegal, right? Because they didn't know first. Therefore, this is not a legal war. Well, we have news for one, it's not a technical war in that sense. And two, for the last, what, 80 years, no president has ever gone forward and asked permission from Congress in order to send those strikes. Because doing so would do what? Endanger the lives of our military. So you can't do it that way.
Starting point is 00:02:30 I want to just quickly play for you what she tried to say yesterday on the floor. By the way, she got shut down, shut down really hard because no one voted for it. It was actually pretty humiliating for her, but, you know, it didn't stop her from getting up there and saying a word or two. Laterally dragging this nation into an illegal and unjustified war with Iran. I'm not saying that that is why Carvel wants her gone. I think it has a little more something to do with her constantly picking on white men. Yeah, well, we'll go to James Carville. Here he is, appearing on Stephen K. Smith's show talking about how this woman has got to go.
Starting point is 00:03:15 In fact, Stephen asked him specifically, you've said in the past that she should go find her own party and start her own thing. And Carvel said, yeah, absolutely. And then he doubled down some. Watch. But she started attacking white males. And I'm saying, wait a minute, let's stop. All right. In 19, in 2024, 72% of the people that voted were white. All right?
Starting point is 00:03:40 That's just a fact. Of that 72, probably 48% or 48.5 were males. So it's somewhere around, I did the math on the thing. About 33% of the people that are going to vote are going to be white males. Well, it's stupid to attack 33% of the voters. Right. You don't want to start there. You know, what you're trying to do is you start and you build up.
Starting point is 00:04:08 And so what I would say to, comes from Omar, why don't you be a Democratic Socialism of America? Do what they're doing. In other words, leave. Get out. We don't want you anymore. You go start your own party and leave the Democrats to actually try and win a few elections, not just these microcosms of the Somalian community in Minneapolis.
Starting point is 00:04:30 because we've got to think a little bit bigger than outside just the Minneapolis community there where apparently, you know, if you know Ilhan, here in the club, you might even get to be part of that feeding our future thing and then go to jail. But, you know, he's on to something. She did over and over again tell us how racist America is. She has singled out in particular one very special group, which James Carvel happens to be a part of. Watch. I would say our country should be more fearful of white man across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country. Ah, yeah, okay. You know, Texas Gidgett writes James Corrible knows politics.
Starting point is 00:05:19 He does, right? And, you know, I do too. It's not that hard. It's really not that hard. The idea is you want to get as many votes as you possibly can. Think about it. If you want as many votes as you possibly can, do you really want to just say, we hate you and we hate you and we hate you? I mean, this is why Donald Trump keeps winning because what does he do?
Starting point is 00:05:44 He expands the party. He's growing the tent. Remember the big tent that the Democrats always thought they have had? They don't have it anymore. They get a teeny little tiny narrow tent because they don't like white men. They apparently don't like white women. You know, if you're gay, you're passee right now because the new thing is trans. 0.001% of the population that they're working overtime to make 0.002% of the population.
Starting point is 00:06:09 I mean, this is not smart politics. And James Carville knows that, and he's telling his party, you've got to wake up, you've got to get rid of these losers because they are going to cost us. They're going to cost us big. Watch. You got plenty different justice party, the working families party, the socialist party. The only thing I've asked is just don't use the word democratic in any title that you have. Because most Democrats that I know are running for office don't want you, your name,
Starting point is 00:06:40 don't want you to be part of the deal. Yeah, sure they would be glad to take your votes. Who wouldn't? Everybody wants to get as many votes as they can. Maybe you come up with your own name. And by the way, nothing against after the election can sit down and do like, done in parliamentary governments or governments around the world. You sit down and you say, okay, we want to be part of a government majority and we have these things that we want you to do to
Starting point is 00:07:09 bring us in and we have negotiations and we figure a way that we can live with different parties, different titles, but under the same general philosophical route, as I've always said, been very clear. I don't think we can work together on profound politics. I don't, I think that you're not, this election did not teach you how damaging that is. I don't think there's anything that I can tell you. So maybe we could have a kind of amical split here. and you know, yeah. Good luck. I don't think she's going to be so amicable about it,
Starting point is 00:07:55 but here he is, kind of a senior statesman, if you would, Rand Clinton's campaign. He's like a guy with common sense, right? And he's saying, this is not really going to work out. It's not going to work out. Ilhan Omar has become a massive liability. And by the way, I believe she's going to become an even bigger one as they discover what went down with Timmy Minet
Starting point is 00:08:13 and his little venture capital fund and his little winery that has no grapes. Yeah, they're going to find a few things. I suspect, especially as it relates to feeding our future in the $250 million that went missing, oh, did I tell you? They had $700 million over the span of two years leaving the Minneapolis airport in cash, in suitcases stuffed with cash, this is just what they declared to TSA. That's the Huala Network for you.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Yes, that's the money transferring network that sends it all back to the Middle East, destined for places like Dubai. Oh, treasuries all over the. that one, you guys, as we speak. And it makes me think, gee, I wonder if this is why Ilhan Omar was so upset when all that USAID money went, poof. I am exceptionally upset about USAID. It is the resources that so many people around the world rely on. Does Somalia rely on USAID? Do some of your own? Do some of your people? Do some of your
Starting point is 00:09:19 cronies, or as she would say, Kunis. Rely on USAID. I mean, I do know that we have her on tape saying she really wants to make sure that all those roads get fixed back in Somalia. Because, like, that's a real priority. Of course, she's speaking another language, but she says, here's the translation, I'm an American immigrant in the U.S. Congress. Live in the dream. But I am a Somali girl, she says to her audience, a girl with your, lineage, a girl, with your language, a girl with your religion. I'm just like you. That was a young
Starting point is 00:09:54 girl taken from her country. Oh, that was her country. That misses her country and wishes to live there. Oh, goodness. And share with its people, dun-ta-da-da. I am hopeful in the future. She says, you know, I'm kind of wondering why she just doesn't take off and go there right now, that we're going to be able to raise our kids in this land where I was born and raised. Wait, so you're telling me she wants to go back to Somalia here. To make that possible, there is a lot that we need to work on together to make our land a more prosperous and stable place, our land, our land, our land. She's talking about Somalia, for goodness sakes. That is felt by all. Okay, lady, you know, you did get naturalized. I realize you're in jeopardy of denaturalization. So pretty soon you may
Starting point is 00:10:40 actually be calling it your country for real, but she's talking about how they're all going home. They're all going back. I mean, hey, didn't you come here for a better life? I like what Scott Besson's doing over at Treasury. He's like, hey, if you're sending money back home, you better not be on public assistance. No, sirree, because that tells us you don't really need the money. You have enough left over that you can send it all back home. So Ilhan Omar, all upset about USAID, all upset about, of course, Minneapolis and ICE, etc. All upset about the war, if I can call it that, the strike, I should say,
Starting point is 00:11:17 on Iran, a strike that was, by the way, very, very necessary and very important at this time because all the intelligence dictated that they actually were just months away from getting the nuclear weapon. Listen, we can't deal with it anymore, right? We told them over and over and over and over again. And what do they do? They come coming back and coming back. I played just sound yesterday from Condoleezza Rice, who said she negotiated four treaties with them to wind down those nuclear efforts. Heck, you had $56 billion, courtesy of Barack Obama going in there to try and wind everything down. And then you had another $6 billion, thanks to Joe Biden. And here we are today. And guess what? They hadn't wound down one little bit. Nothing. And in fact, they told Steve
Starting point is 00:11:52 Wickeff, and then the Iranian foreign minister told MSNBC, what did he tell them? He said, oh, yeah, we have basically all this uranium that's enriched to 60 percent. And they're like, he said, well, I'm not bragging about it. But yeah, we do have that uranium. So it's like, guys, we've been telling you. And clearly you're not getting the message. So you know what, Donald Trump has figured out just exactly how he can ensure that they get the message. And I think they got it loud and clear. Yeah. Apparently, they're back channeling efforts right now saying, how do we get this to end? How do we get this to end? And Donald Trump is saying, well, it's not going to end until I have somebody in there, when we take everything out, and then we have somebody in there that's actually
Starting point is 00:12:37 going to be able to run the place and run the place for real. Maybe you saw this. This is great. apprentice Iran. Trump says he must be involved in picking Iran's new leader. This was the New York Post saying it's going to be an interesting battle ahead to figure out who is in charge. But I'll tell you, I do continue to have my suspicions about Ilhan Omar. Ilhan Omar and, well, the current marriage, we have our suspicions about the past marriage. And by the way, Nancy Mace is all over that one. We're going to get to him in a second. But Ilhan Omar and Timmy Minat, they're looking at that magnificent duo there on the screen. Timmy Rinet has a bad history of fraud allegations against him for his cannabis company. Yes, I said that correctly. Cannabis company. I'm not going to judge.
Starting point is 00:13:29 Or maybe just a little. Fraud with cannabis company. Gee, I wonder. And then also the winery that has no grapes. The winery that has no website. The winery that doesn't seem to be anymore, but according to her filings is worth five million bucks. Amazing how that works, right? Well, there's more to it because she's suddenly worth a sweet 30 mil. Manette and his partner, Will Haler, back in 2022, formed an investment firm named Rose Lake Capital. They had 42 bucks in their bank account at the time.
Starting point is 00:14:04 But in a year, up to 25 million bucks, according to Omar's filing. By the way, he also has a wine business that went from, next to nothing to millions on its books. Not surprisingly, associates were so perplexed about the irregularities. They brought information and attention to the feds. And suddenly we are where we are today. A lot of irregularities.
Starting point is 00:14:28 I mean, I got to tell you, when this filing came out, we did a whole big thing on it right here on the Trishrigan show. And I was like, how does that happen? Like, how do you go from that to that? I guess you marry Timmy. you know, because if the first one doesn't work out, the second one doesn't work out, and then you go back to the first one,
Starting point is 00:14:47 it still doesn't work out. Would this be the fourth at this point, or I guess we could say third times a charm? I mean, she married her campaign manager. She was paying him somewhere like around in the 300 zone, a year which is a lot for a campaign manager. And then he like got ten times the amount, nearly $3 million once he became her husband.
Starting point is 00:15:08 You understand how, insanely unethical that is, right? Because one, she's paying him way more than anybody actually makes in a campaign. Everybody was all worked up because Joe Biden's campaign manager was getting four mill. That was if Joe won. So, you know, campaign managers don't make nearly $3 million, unless, of course, we're married to the candidate, and that means she's making $3 million. Dantana. So in other words, this should have been dealt with ages ago. The Biden administration did launch an investigation into all that, and then they made it go away because she's you're being racist.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Well, it can't be racist, right? We need Minneapolis, and you can't win Minneapolis without a Somali candidate. And by the way, you can't even win Minnesota without the backing of the Somali mobsters, effectively. I'm going to call them that because what else? What else were they? I mean, they're stealing $250 million from U.S. taxpayers. You've had a whole slew of them, the 79th recently, just went to jail. 79th person involved in it.
Starting point is 00:16:08 It's bad. bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. And yet when Ilhan is asked about these things, she tries to laugh it off. Listen, she's no comedian. This is pretty pathetic watch. Congresswoman Omar, yesterday you told me to please read when I asked you about the $9 billion fraud
Starting point is 00:16:28 that you denied is happening, but I have it right here. I read. Look, Chairman Comer opens here on massive fraud scandal, $9 billion. That's what Comer believes because he's as smart as you are. It's not just Comer. It's Scott Besson. It's federal prosecutors, its house oversight. And it's Minnesota state rats. You can have that. Ma'am, I think you need to get examined because your brain has been fried in some way. And it's not okay. I really hope you get some help. You and the Republicans here.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Take care, okay, ma'am? I'm sorry, I can't go to the learning centers that you're running over in Minnesota. But I think you should perhaps read what's actually. You need one of those learning centers. I need one of those learning centers. I mean, unbelievable, right? But she is pretty unbelievable. You know, they need to just cut her loose.
Starting point is 00:17:21 James Carvel is spot on. Get rid of her. Dems want her out. She's got to go. Start her own party. But, you know, we were talking about the scam that she was running. And I believe this, okay? I should say alleged scam.
Starting point is 00:17:37 to cover myself. But I suspect when it's all said and done, this 30 million miraculous net worth came from somewhere. And it didn't come from the, although it's a lot, the $2.8 million that she paid her hubby, and thus herself, for a salary. No, no, no. I mean, you'd have to be one heck of an investor. You really would in order to be able to pull that one off. So it came from someone. But we're not supposed to ask. No, no, no, no, no. We're not allowed to ask. Because if we're asking that, well, you know what we are. Just ask Ilhan. And so I know that there's always been an attempt to smear my character, to smear the character of the community that I ethnically belong to. There's always this sort of sad reference to the fact
Starting point is 00:18:30 that I'm a refugee. It seems like these people seem to have a problem with the fact that I am living the American dream. Hmm. Well, we have a problem with it. If, as my friend Steve Forbes said, go watch that show. He was on a couple of weeks ago. You're living the Al Capone
Starting point is 00:18:51 version of the American dream. Because that's not acceptable, you see. In America, we work hard. And that hard work is rewarded with prosperity. I realize Somalia has a very different culture, a legacy of piracy, to be exact.
Starting point is 00:19:09 So you just can't employ that same sense of, well, business that you have there in Somalia to whatever you might do here in the USA. I'm not suggesting that she did, but we know certainly a big group of people, which all happened to be from her district, did. And I think what they're going to prove, I think they're going to find out that it's a little murky there. and there may have been some money laundering going on. I mean, just listen to what Forbes said.
Starting point is 00:19:38 He said, this was a money laundering operation. Any which way you slice it, you look at that darn venture capital firm, as he likes to call it. Here's a picture of it for you guys. Venture capital from this is his website, not much of a website. But he says he's working in 80 different countries. Oh, that's interesting. I guess the money goes a lot of different places. He's got diplomats working with him. Oh, he and his team have managed $60 billion. $60 billion. I've been saying this over and over again, that would make Timmy Minette's firm one of the largest venture capital firms in the world. Okay, so you know how preposterous that is and how insulting it is, frankly, that he's putting this onto his website. It's still there. You can go and check.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Rose Lake Capital. Rose Lake Capital. He says he's a venture capital firm, but if you go to the front page, it's all about access. What is he? He's some kind of lobbyist. So if he's some kind of kind of lobbyists, what's the deal? You buy some shares in his venture capital firm at a big inflated value because then he can kind of wash it all up for you, maybe get you a deal with the feeding our future network or another one of those things. I got my suspicions and I want to see this looked into. I know Treasury is doing something. I'm told the IRS is doing something, but we need answers. We need answers now because I'm I suspect this woman did some bad stuff.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Oh, by the way, another woman has been indicted. McCormick. McCormick has been indicted for stealing $5 million, representative from Florida, Democrat, from taxpayers in FEMA funds. And they're letting her stay on, even though her trial begins next month. Unbelievable, we've got to get to that,
Starting point is 00:21:25 and we've got to get to Ilhan citizenship because that's a biggie right now, a biggie. But first, a quick note from one of our great sponsors. You know, everybody asked me about my clothes and how I picked them and blah, blah, blah, blah. I had a stylist, like, for many, many years at networks. And I've always, I kind of have my own style and I've always picked my own stuff. But, yeah, I had somebody shopping from me, which was great.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Well, guess what? I still do. And you can outsource this too. How about it? This is the advantage of technology, ladies and gentlemen. So, yeah, I do have to wear a few different outfits. And I go through phases. You know, I really liked my shiny dresses for a few months, right?
Starting point is 00:22:02 It was like, and I buy it in every color. I really do. I find one thing I like and I buy it in every single color because that just makes it easier. But this also makes it easier. This is a company called Dailylook.com and we're thrilled to welcome them as a sponsor here on the program. Dailylook.com is really cool because you know what? You can go there.
Starting point is 00:22:21 You have a dedicated personal stylist that curates a box of clothes based on your body shape, your preferences, your lifestyle. It's not actually an algorithm at all. It's a real person, personal stylist. You get the same stylist every single time. So if you're watching this show right now and you're interested in this, go check out DailyLook.com. Use code Trish Regan, my entire name this time,
Starting point is 00:22:42 T-R-I-S-H-R-E-G-A-N, for 50% off your first order. Again, that's 50% off with my code Trish Regan. Trish Regan. And just in case you didn't hear me once, I'm going to say it again. Dailylook.com. Use code Trish Regan, 50% off. By the way, it just makes your life easier. I mean, some people like to shop.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I don't. I'm kid you not. I really don't. I guess I'm not a typical girl in that way, but this thing helps me out a lot, and I hope it helps you too. Ilhan's citizenship under review right now. We had already gotten word just last week from Harmeet Dillon, who's the number two at the DOJ, and she said they were looking into it, not her department, but somebody else at the DOJ was looking into it. And of course, Tom Homan has effectively said as much in the past, and Ilhan doesn't like it very much. For example, somebody caught up with her in the halls of Congress and asked her directly about Tom Homan
Starting point is 00:23:35 and, well, let's just say she wasn't so charitable about it. Watch. Congresswoman, can I ask you your response to Tom Homan saying you're under investigation for immigration? Possible immigration violations? Just any response you have of what he's saying in the public? I have a response because I don't know what they'll be
Starting point is 00:23:53 investigating. So you don't think they would find anything? Absolutely. Why do you think they keep bringing this up and they're sick? You know, I think a lot of people might say the same of you, Ilhan. Especially if what I think you did, you did. Anyway, Congress is tired of her. Representative Randy Fine has been calling for a while for her to be deported.
Starting point is 00:24:24 He's echoed by none other than Congressman Emmer out of Minnesota. Soda, who also is looking to deport her via the scam act, if in fact she committed marriage fraud, then there is, oh, Senator Marshall Blackburn over in, you know, the big house, the Senate. And she's also looking to introduce legislation. She has introduced legislation that would wind up deporting Ilhan Omar or anybody that may have committed fraud, assuming, of course, they can prove that Ilhan Omar committed fraud. Randy Fine wants them to do so. Florida representative Republican. Let's go to him here. Elon Omar is a walking example of everything that is wrong with our legal immigration policy.
Starting point is 00:25:08 We imported tens of thousands of people who hate America, add no value to it, rob and steal from us, and we're supposed to be okay with it. We're not okay with it. Unc Andy 47, yes, remember to like and subscribe. I appreciate you, shouting that one out. It's great to have you guys. here, by the way, if you're just coming in for the first time, Trish Regan Show, we're here every day live. Usually I'm on time. We had a little, little technical snuffoo that I will not bore you with, but it is great to see everybody on this Friday.
Starting point is 00:25:41 And certainly, there's a lot going on right now. I want to get back to Randy Fine, because he's also saying, hey, you know what, there's a reason I'm doing this. She's saying this stuff about me. Well, guess what? I'm doubling down on her. Take a look. Expelled from the United States, and that's something that I'm working on. But what prompted me to take this position is she decided to send around fundraising emails saying I should be expelled from Congress.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Well, if that's her view, she should go for it. And so what I've said is if I'm going to try to expel her, it won't be in a fundraising email. She'll deal with it on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. So there you have it. They're actively working to try to get her out. Now, here's the frustrating part. Nancy Mace, who you may have seen just a couple days ago, gosh, it's only Friday, right? Just a couple days ago, we ran the sound of her saying, hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:26:37 I am looking into whether or not she can be denaturalized and deported, and I'm going to base this on my belief that she married her brother. That's Nancy May speaking. And so she had tried to get some of those records. And she came up with a little bit of a roadblock. I want to share it with you. she expressed her frustration just earlier today. Congresswoman, where do we stand on the investigation into Ilhan Omar? Obviously, there's some, you know, questions regarding her citizenship.
Starting point is 00:27:07 She's been referred to the Ethics Committee. Can we trust the Ethics Committee to actually be ethical and do the right thing? Well, what's happened so far? Like, really, I think the mark, the remark is always, let the process play out, right? That's what they always say, and nothing ever, never happens. I tried to subpoena her immigration records, her brother husband's immigration records, and it was Republicans that killed my motion. Yeah, and what's going on with that?
Starting point is 00:27:33 Do you have any more insight you can share on that? As far as I know, nothing's going on and nothing will go on. That's Congress for you because both sides protect the other. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you very much. Appreciate it. So she's not wrong, and we're going to get to that
Starting point is 00:27:47 because we don't like both sides protecting the other, and maybe some of that's going to change. James Comer, Anapalina Luna, working hard alongside others to make sure that we get some records on sexual harassment payments going all the way back to the 70s there in Congress. There are going to be a lot of people that don't want that stuff coming out. But, you know, it's taxpayer dollars that they're paying people off with. Who the heck are they doing this for? More on that in a second.
Starting point is 00:28:14 But first, back to Ilhan Omar, because I got a nice little chart up there about her various marriages. There have been quite a few, as we discussed. And it started in 2002. She married a guy, apparently married a guy, but not legally, at least in the court of law here in the USA. She married this guy, and his name was Ahmed. The second guy was also Ahmed, so it makes it easy. Except I don't think she was really married to the second guy. And the allegation, and this is what Nancy Mace has been all over, the allegation is that the second guy was actually a blood relative.
Starting point is 00:28:49 That's a tough allegation, huh? Anyway, so he comes over here from London, apparently he had been living in the UK, he comes over, he marries her. This time it's official. They get the big ceremony. Oh, well, not a big ceremony. It wasn't actually in front of their community. It was done legally, however, legally, as in the court of law.
Starting point is 00:29:06 And they went down, they registered at City Hall, and they have a marriage certificate. And then the next thing you know, like they bust up a year and a half later. Meanwhile, he's been living somewhere else, apparently, during that year and a half. And she somehow gets back together with the first Ahmed. She gets around, right? And then she divorces this guy. Like a year later, a year and change later, she divorces, oh, wait, forgive me. I got to go back to the chart.
Starting point is 00:29:30 So 2009, so it was like a year and a half. She marries the new Ahmed. And then in 2011, she divorces Elmi. So that's the, okay. So, but in the meantime, in 2010, she has had the third child with the first Ahmed. I mean, I'm getting dizzy just trying to keep up with all the Ahmeds. I don't know about you, but she's got a thing for Ahmed. Anyway, 2012, apparently she then reconciles again with the first Ahmed.
Starting point is 00:30:05 I mean, this is tumultuous stuff. I mean, very, very, very up and down and up and down. And they're not together and then they're together. And then, well, let's just sum it up by saying 2019, she divorces that first Ahmed and then settles down with Mr. Timmy Minet, who, you know, suddenly her net worth goes through the roof. Imagine that. You know, it's not exactly admirable, shall we say? Well, here's the bigger question right now.
Starting point is 00:30:32 You know, you heard Nancy Mays saying it's really disgusting. Basically, both sides keep protecting their own. Why is it that both sides, like, don't move more forward on this? It's like they try and keep it all under wraps. Well, James Comer and the House Oversight Committee, they're trying to change that. So there is a whole bunch of documentation on previous payments that were made on sexual harassment basis. So somebody comes forward with an allegation and they pay them to go away and then stay quiet forever. And you can imagine there may have been a few of those along the years there in Congress.
Starting point is 00:31:12 It's coming up today, especially because, you know, Representative Gonzalez, he's being ushered out. to the Republicans are making sure he's getting out. He's not going to be able to run again. Some people have said, well, why doesn't he just quit right now? Apparently that's not going to happen, but he has said he's not going to run again. He's getting out of politics, right? Lisa, I mean, a horrendous, horrendous story. But the concern here is, why didn't we know more earlier on? Anna Polina Luna, you know, just spit in fire here on Capitol Hill today. I want to share with you her sound. We know that members of Congress are using taxpayer dollars to pay off sexual harassment. We just had a member of Congress literally sexually harassed a woman that then lit herself on fire,
Starting point is 00:31:53 and you guys all protected him. You guys all protected. My own side, your side. And so if you guys want to talk about victims, if you want to go out and virtue signal, and then you guys are going to kill her stuff on the floor and then try to pass. Yeah, of course, we should subpoena all this stuff. But just, I'm not going to sit here and play games. I think it's a complete fraud. I think that's why the American people hate us. I think the midterms are coming up and everyone should go on for this and I hope that members are exposed for this. I hope it goes back, I think it to the 70s, because it's wrong that it's happening,
Starting point is 00:32:19 it's wrong that we cover up for it, it's wrong that we can't center our own side because people are busy making deals because you guys wanna censure your side, it's a deal that's been cut, people hate us for it. They do. She's absolutely right, they really, really, really do.
Starting point is 00:32:36 And I wanna know who's covering up for this McCormick lady. So this McCormick lady, I mean, this is pretty bad. She, she's alleged, have taken $5 million in FEMA funds. She's been indicted by the Justice Department. She's got her trial starting in April and nobody wants to get rid of her in the house. Come on! Let me lay out what she allegedly did.
Starting point is 00:33:01 Rainment Day for Florida congresswoman Sheila Sherfullis McCormick, the Democrat is accused of conspiring to steal $5 million in federal disaster funds during the COVID pandemic and funneling some of it into her 2022 congressional campaign. The Congresswoman's attorney already notifying the court. She is waiving her appearance and is pleading not guilty. She is facing a total of 15 charges. Her trial is set for April. So how is it that you've been indicted for stealing $5 million from U.S. taxpayers and you're still there?
Starting point is 00:33:36 How is it, to Anna's point earlier, that taxpayers are paying off anybody that you allegedly harassed and you're still there. But how's that become our problem? I mean, you know, this is, this is concerning whether they have a slush fund for harassment? And you want this McCormick lady to stay there, Sheila? Sheila, who, you know, I'll tell you, that's, that's kind of off-putting. Here is another Florida congressperson, Greg Stuby, who says, what is the purpose of the ethics committee if it won't hold members accountable? I bring this up, guys, because the ethics committee, keep in mind, is where Ilhan Omar's stuff is right now. So I don't have a lot of faith right now on the Ethics Committee.
Starting point is 00:34:19 I really don't. And I'm hopeful that Treasury is going to be able to do a better job. But, you know, this woman, they're keeping her there. What is the purpose of the Ethics Committee if it won't hold members accountable? She was indicted by the DOJ four months ago, he writes, today, I filed articles of expulsion immediately. And today the committee delayed the trial yet again with another continuance. fact that the ethics committee allowed this after she had months to prepare is absolutely
Starting point is 00:34:48 assinine. I mean, yeah, what is going on? The corruption feels rampant. Wasn't Donald Trump going to drain the swamp? And yet the swamp is alive and well, this McCormick lady, she's still there. And she goes back to the same old stuff that Ilhan does. Don't you dare, don't you dare ask me a question because I'm black. And this is just racism. If you come after me, I mean, I'm getting so sick of this stuff. So sick of it. Watch. I look forward to my day and court so I can prove myself and actually state the truth. But if this is what Congress is becoming, where they're always trying to intimidate you,
Starting point is 00:35:23 scare tactics, especially attacking minorities, black and brown people, then we're going to have to keep fighting for the district. And everybody has been giving me so much support. And we're going to keep fighting until the district gets what it needs, which is fair prices, housing, and fair representation of Congress. Yeah, just don't ask me anything about the 5 million. billion bucks that I stole, allegedly. Because if you do, then, well, you must be one of those really, really bad people. I mean, it's unbelievable. And then Jeffries was asked,
Starting point is 00:35:53 House Minority Leader, hey, are you going to get rid of her? She's been indicted. She's going to trial. Like, what are you going to do? And, well, here's his stance. Congresswoman Shafelis McCormick is entitled to the presumption of innocence, like every other American. I'm a hard note as it relates to the effort to expel her and it's going to fail. Okay. You know what? Your whole party is going to fail. Did you see the new poll numbers out, guys? We talked about this on yesterday's show, so I'm not going to play the sound again, but there's a great new poll out. Actually, Fox had it. And what you saw was that this president
Starting point is 00:36:29 has higher approval ratings than any other president by his own party in modern history. And actually, I mean, you go back to Obama in that time, right? Like, wasn't he their savior? No, no, no, no. No, Donald Trump is way ahead. And when it comes to the MAGA base specifically, he's killing it. He's got 98% approval rating. People like him, okay? And I can't say the same about the Democrats right now, but I will say this, you know, he had to make a hard decision. The president made a hard decision to cut his losses with Christy, Noam. And I know a lot of people author liked her. I know that, you know, I saw you guys yesterday. You're like, oh, she didn't get fired, she didn't get fired, but, you know, I'm sorry. I mean, maybe they gave her some
Starting point is 00:37:17 graceful appointment doing something else, something I've never even heard of, but I think she's kind of fired. And the president made this decision. It is my understanding in part because of something that she said when asked by Senator Kennedy about a big, giant ad campaign she had. So she's at Homeland Security. I mean, listen, I know a lot of people like her. I like her too, but, you know, and if I could have had my pick, it might have been Bondi, whom I also like, but, you know, nothing's happening with Bondi, but the things kind of went off the rails with Christy. I mean, it might actually, it risks causing the president, the midterm elections. And so I think that he probably was looking for a reason, truth be told. But he can't be out there
Starting point is 00:38:08 going after Minnesota's fraud or California's fraud or anything else when he's got this appearance of impropriety coming from his own DHS secretary. So there's a firm with ties to Christy Knoem that secretly apparently got money to the tune of $220 million in DHS ad contracts. It turns out to be the firm that belongs to the husband of her former PR director, Trish McLaughlin, who just also resigned. a few days ago. So this was probably in the works, and it all came down to one question. Let's watch it. You're testifying that President Trump approved this ahead of time.
Starting point is 00:38:52 Something I understand. We had conversations about making sure that we were telling people... No, ma'am. I'm asking you, sorry to interrupt, but the president approved ahead of time, you spending $220 million running TV ads across the country in which you are featured prominently. Yes, sir. We went through the legal processes. Did it correct? Did the president know you're going to do this? Yes.
Starting point is 00:39:18 He did. Yes. Okay. So that seems to have been a real sticking point. The president telling Reuters shortly after that press conference that no, he did not, specifically approved the $220 million ad campaign. I mean, that's a lot of money, right? Like, it's a lot of money for some commercials.
Starting point is 00:39:42 That's a quarter of a billion dollars nearly. But I kind of say, they were really nice commercials. I mean, here's one of them. I mean, if you can get beyond starting with the horses, ours. Why do I love these wide open spaces? They remind me of why our forefathers came here, not just for its beauty, but for the freedom only America provides. It's a beautiful commercial.
Starting point is 00:40:05 And she goes on and she's waxing very poetic. And then she's like, don't you dare come here unless you belong here. It's this gorgeous, gorgeous commercial. So I don't know it was $200 million worth of commercial. But it's a very, very nice commercial. It was apparently shot at Mount Rushmore. And she, you know, she's on the horse. And you see right there.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Apparently she's a good rider, et cetera. And, you know, people are like, well, this feels a little bit excessive. in part because she's promoting herself a lot. And that hit a lot of people internally, per my sources, at the White House, the wrong way. In other words, it's okay maybe if it was President Trump, but this is, this is Christy. This is Christy, you know, she puts them in there a fair amount
Starting point is 00:40:50 because she's trying to cover her basis there. But think about this. $220 million. It's a lot of money. We were running the numbers. I mean, the Avengers, that was a big film, right? $220 million. You got a whole film?
Starting point is 00:41:02 out of it. We're like actors and everything. Or Jurassic World, $215 million. Iron Man Man of Steel, $200 million. Captain America, you could make Captain America for less than you can make Christine Holmes commercials. All right? You understand. This didn't go over so well. Not well at all. And, you know, there was a series of things on top of that. So, you know, I like her. And I love her. look. I think she's beautiful and, you know, she's getting on TV and she looks terrific and she's iced Barbie and she's all decked out in the garb and everything. You're like, wow, the only thing is if you have aspirations one of doing something more, you probably don't want to be working that side so much. So, you know, the lip gloss, et cetera. I mean, it's different. Like, why I do, right? Like,
Starting point is 00:41:51 this is just a, this is a show. This is a, this is a podcast. This is, this is kind of a different, this is, it's news, but it's entertaining and it's entertainment. But, but it's entertaining. But, But if you're running the Department of Homeland Security, you know, it's not really entertainment. Right. Like that is not, I realize for some people it may be, but no, no, no. It really shouldn't be perceived as entertainment in any way. So it's a little weird when you're out there in the bulletproof. Again, I think she looks great.
Starting point is 00:42:19 And I, you know, I celebrate beautiful women. But you can understand how that might strike some people the wrong way. And so if you're doing all this and then you're spending $220 million and then you apparently, according to the president, lie about it under oath, well, that's not going to go over well. And so I think he's thinking, hey, I've got to make some hard choices here. On top of that, apparently Corey was not so popular. Again, I love Corey. He's from Live for Your Die New Hampshire, but not so popular with the rank and file.
Starting point is 00:42:49 And this came back to bite them because apparently she didn't fully deny having some kind of relationship with him. Watch. You've called Corey Lewandowski a special government employee. I understand what government means. I understand what employee means, okay, but I don't know what makes him special. Now, I want to give you an opportunity to answer on the record to Ms. Kamlogger-Dove's question. I know you said it's garbage, and it may be, but I really think you need to say the word no into the record so that you can clear that up. I think the ridiculousness of this and the tabloids that you are quoting and referencing are insane.
Starting point is 00:43:25 And this has been something that I've referred. Is that a no? And I continue to do that. So I would tell you is when you're doing. We can move on. Hold on. We can move on. I'm not going to belabor it.
Starting point is 00:43:34 This is what you do. Hold on. I'm not doing anything. Liberal left is you go off and you attack conservative women. And you say that we're either stupid or we're sluts. All right. So listen. That's what you do.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Yesterday, Richard. I will tell you, sir. I will tell you, sir. Mr. Chairman, are claiming my time. I am neither of them. You were asked by Richard Blumenthal yesterday. You were asked, you were asked by Richard Blumenthal yesterday if Corey was involved in improving contracts. You said no. Do you want to correct that?
Starting point is 00:44:00 What I would say is he has an advisor to the Department of Homeland Security has no decision-making authority. No decision-making authority. No decision-making authority. Hold on. Not a problem. According to one of the FEMA administrators that you fired, there is nothing including contracts that is brought to you that he hasn't reviewed. In fact, a significant amount of DHS internal routing documents has his signature on it above deputy secretaries. Okay. That former FEMA administrator wasn't fired by you, the secretary. He was fired by Corey. It was Corey that called him into your office. It was Corey that made him to submit to a polygraph test. The $100,000 spending rule that you created that comes to your desk, you're not even sitting at your desk. It's Corey who's
Starting point is 00:44:37 sitting there. ISIS said the Republican should be happy at the job that you're doing. Really? You're looking at the person who single-handedly took the president's signature core issue immigration, the issue that got him elected from 59% to 39%. 200 miles of border walls being held up by you, they had to bring in Tom Holman, pull out of Minnesota. I think the country needs a national divorce from you on biblical grounds. I mean, if Donald Trump was still apprentice Trump, he would look at you and he would realize you're the weakest cabinet member and he would fire you. And if the president said to you, that only way DHS could reopen is if you resigned, I hope you would take him up on it. Now, I want to end on a happy note,
Starting point is 00:45:13 Mr. Chairman, real quickly. You know, the president gave all sorts of stuff out during the state of the union. God don't want you to leave. I got you a new Coast Guard Blanky, the one you lost. Okay, so this is for you. You don't leave empty-handed when you come to judiciary. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. The gentleman has expired the gentleman from Missouri's recognized. Okay, so this is how it went. And by the way, he was not the only one that went after her for that. So, you know, whether or not, I don't think the president really cared about any allegations with Lewandowski. I just, you know, those have been out there forever. And I don't think he would have given her the appointment. Those allegations are out there
Starting point is 00:45:47 if he cared. Or maybe he believed them to not be true or, just didn't care. I suspect he just didn't care. He's very much like meritocracy, like whoever can do the job. The problem was once the $220 million ad campaign hit and it was all about Christy, that's when it started to go really south. On top of which, of course, things that had unfolded in Minneapolis, which it was believed that she really wasn't treating it with the seriousness that she needed to. He sent Tom Homan in. What did I say? The day Tom started, I was like, oh, yeah, she, She's basically fired. I know you guys didn't want to believe it then either.
Starting point is 00:46:25 You know I'll never lie. And again, I like her. I think she looked great. I think she was doing a good job. But, you know, at some point, when push comes to shove, someone's going to get thrown under the bus. And in this case, it was Christy Knoem. Quick shout out again for, if you haven't gone to 76 research.
Starting point is 00:46:45 I know the markets were lower today, but there's still a ton of opportunities. We've been really kicking some, you know what? over at 76 research, all of those portfolios. We have three portfolios. They're all doing really well. They've all beaten the S&P quite handily. We just published our recent, every month, we tell you exactly where we are and how we're doing. We don't handle it on your money, by the way, that you do all that. We just tell you what we're investing in and what we like, et cetera. So there's three portfolios. I encourage you to go check them out at 76 portfolios or 76 Research.com. Our most recent stock pick that we added to two of the portfolios actually up like 55% since.
Starting point is 00:47:21 did just a couple weeks ago. So, hey, I'm not too bad. Don Baca, he's like, he's like a day trader, so he's in and out of stuff. I hold, I hold a long time. I mean, unless it gets too, too high, in which case then we start to rotate and we shift. I want to also just mention, you know, it's a big year, 250th anniversary of this nation. Can you believe it? We're going to start playing my, God bless America in the background, I think. It's a big deal, right? It's a really, really big deal. So it's kind of worth revisiting, shall we say, one of the most powerful ideas in our founding. And that would be the pursuit of happiness. Interesting that it's called the pursuit. It's not a guarantee of happiness, right? Nobody guarantees anything here in the United
Starting point is 00:48:02 States of America. Thank you very much. You can pursue it. We hope to help you pursue it. Our founding fathers envisioned the freedom to work hard, to raise a family, to worship freely. And you know, I'll tell you, here's what our founders did not mean. They didn't mean big government programs and big government handouts. And that's why Ilhan Omar, I'm looking at you. I'm looking at you, Minnesota fraudsters. I'm looking at you, California fraudsters, to the tune of what $80 billion they're talking about there? Oh, now they just launched an investigation into New York. Well, guess what? It doesn't mean big government programs that everybody can steal from. Our friends and Americans for Prosperity, they believe the pursuit of the American Dream
Starting point is 00:48:39 is a core part of what makes our country so exceptional. And it's why I am proud to partner with them here on this show. If you believe in the American dream like we do and you want to celebrate it on this very, very special year, they get some ideas for you. Go over to A250 Toolkit.com where Americans are sharing their stories of how they are keeping the American dream alive. Like, what are you doing? You know, it's a big deal, like little things. Like you can just, you know, get the kids together on Friday night and start reading parts of the Constitution. I've been known to do that. My kids think I'm a little crazy. But, hey, you know, we got to instill it in them somehow.
Starting point is 00:49:17 Real stories about opportunity, real stories about sacrifice, real stories about taking responsibility and not waiting around for permission or for government handouts. Thank you very much. Go to A250Toolkit.com to learn more and share your story because the American Dream is not a big government program. It is our pursuit, our pursuit of happiness. And, you know, part of what makes you happy is having a really good, healthy lifestyle, right? drinking your water, getting to the gym, or getting your steps in.
Starting point is 00:49:50 Steps are important. And eating well. And I know we can't always eat well. I, for one, like, it's hard. I never have time to cook the way I'd really like to. I actually don't really like to cook either. I'm a good cook. I just don't really enjoy it.
Starting point is 00:50:03 And so one of the things I've been so happy about finding and thrilled that they're a sponsor on the show is the company Balance of Nature, balance of nature. Balance of Nature.com because they have a whole health system, and they are ensuring through, they're very specially, you know, they, like freeze dry, these vegetables and fruits and then they, you know, grind them. You get, like, all the original nutrients that you get in this stuff. So it's real stuff.
Starting point is 00:50:24 It's like not too fancy. I think they do call it phytonutrients, so it's a little bit of a fancy word, but this is great. I mean, it's good for you, and you can be ensured that you're getting, like, the full smorgasbord, if you would, of all your fruits and vegetables. So, for me, it's been kind of a game changer. I'll say that because, you know, I needed to get a little more fruits and vegetables. I needed a little bit more vitamin D and along came Balance of Nature and it's been a wonderful
Starting point is 00:50:49 partnership. So you can get a great deal if you go and use my name, code word Trish at balance of nature.com. Go check those guys out today. I know you guys do not watch the view. Right? Tell me you don't watch the View. You don't need to watch the View. I watch the view for you.
Starting point is 00:51:11 Well, I don't actually watch it. I look for clips from the view because I can't inflict that kind of torture on myself. Right, let's be honest. But I am very well aware of all the trouble that the view is in. And we've been reporting on all this trouble that the view is in because the view seems to only have one opinion in one opinion only. And that would be the opinion of Whoopi Goldberg, backed up by Joy Behar, backed up by Sonny House,
Starting point is 00:51:36 and an occasional Ana Navarro. And you're sitting there going, wait a second, Like is there no diversity of opinion there? Nope, no, no diversity of opinion. Well, they're in a lot of trouble. Brendan Carr, who runs the FCC, has decided he's going to exercise what is known as the equal rights rule, which meant they're in a lot of trouble because they decided to have Jasmine Crockett on one day. And like James Tolariko, who was competing against her there in Texas, oh, he won.
Starting point is 00:52:00 He's a whole other story. They decide to have him on two days later. And so the next thing you know, the FCC is bringing them down their back saying, hey, we've got this thing called Equal Times rules and you cannot on public airwaves like this, just devote it all to Democrats, even though they do every day. So suddenly they're running scared and they no longer have Bob Bagger, the CEO of Disney to protect them anymore because he's saying, I'm sorry, see you later, I'm leaving. He's leaving and the guy that ran the parks is coming in. And the park guy, I don't think he cares too much about the TV people or the news. division and so they're going to be out on their own. So they're trying to fix it in real time. And somehow, I hope they paid her a bundle. They managed to get Elizabeth Hasselback back on
Starting point is 00:52:45 the show. And it's fantastic. I love seeing her just shoot them all down. Here's a great example. Here they are talking about the border and everything that's going on. And well, she spits it right back in their face. Whoopie doesn't even want to let her talk. But she showcases the exact reason why you need security and you need a border. Watch. Put forward the statistics that zero illegals release into the U.S. for 10 months straight have not crossed. Okay, that nearly 3 million aliens have left the United States that we have the lowest murder rate in 125 years
Starting point is 00:53:18 that fentanyl trafficking is down 56% at the border. And daily encounters have gone down 96%. Hang on one second. We need a strong border, especially now with our current global situation. And I believe that you may say you don't want border control and you're against ICE, but I actually don't believe you in your daily lives. How many people in the audience here
Starting point is 00:53:36 had to go through security to get here? Raise your hand, just be honest. Otherwise you go to jail, I guess, for legal trespassing, right? This is an authorized audience. They had to go through security to get through the border, to get right here to just hear us talk. We need strong borders more than ever right now.
Starting point is 00:53:50 We are being in... But, Liz, right? They were not on the border when Renee Good and Alex Paredi were murdered, and death is not a mistake. That was a murder. No, that was a murder. No, let me do it.
Starting point is 00:54:02 As were those killed by illegal immigrants murder. Let's not dismissive about the fact that this set. Thank you to our friends at NewsBusters for that clip. Leave it to them. Media Research Center. They're just great. So like I said, I don't watch the show, but I do check the clips every day that Media Research Center kindly watches for us.
Starting point is 00:54:28 Look, Elizabeth Hill, I'm looking at your comments, and yes, you're right, Cat Crazy Sam, who, by the way, I saw all your comments. You're there. You're there. Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry. Cat Crazy, Sam, you're correct. She was on the view years ago. Years ago, she was there and she did a great job,
Starting point is 00:54:50 but she was constantly getting just beat up on by all these ladies. I mean, my friend Megan McCain was actually on the show for a while, and she also was beaten up by those ladies. And finally, she walked. She's like, no, thank you. I mean, who the heck needs that? all right um you don't you don't like you can't want to be famous that badly and by the way you're not that famous on that show i can barely name any of them i i know whoopee i know joy i've lately
Starting point is 00:55:16 gotten to know sunny but i don't know what the others are called so why do it i do hope they paid her big time to get her on there for the week because she's talking some sense into them all over the place it's like these people are rather uninformed here she is trying to explain to well, you know, why it makes sense for us to have better control over the Middle East. From a security standpoint and from an international relations standpoint, given the threats we consider China and Russia to be, here we go. I look at Donald Trump and I look at Netanyahu and I see two leaders who I think, think politically, they benefit from war.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Netanyahu is facing criminal charges for corruption back home. Donald Trump is facing very low numbers and Epstein files that will not, are not, and we will not let go away. I do think it's threefold. One, we have 47 million Iranian women who now have a hope of freedom. That's a good thing. Okay, we have an disgusting, disgusting terrorist regime ended. And the people finally have hope to create their own nation again. Okay, so that's the hope.
Starting point is 00:56:29 When we zoom out in geopolitical realm, okay, which is not my, specialty either, but we have a ton of friends in the military who specialize in this. We see that this is actually avoiding a boots-on-the-ground war with China when we are able to choke their oil supply, and the president and our military are exemplary in doing so right now. They've cut the oil supply from Venezuela, and they've now reduced it and choked the oil supply to China in Iran. And now what that does is presumably prevent China from having an absolute stronghold on the globe. So this is a strategic move geopolitically that we may not fully understand,
Starting point is 00:57:06 but I absolutely trust that this is best for our mission. And we should be America first. Yeah. You see, she's smart, okay? Or she's got good producers. This is incredibly important. I've said this all along. I mean, China was hanging out in Venezuela way too much from my comfort.
Starting point is 00:57:23 The Russians, I was told you went down to Venezuela. All you could hear in the city of Caracas was Russian. Like everywhere you went, everybody was speaking Russian. So the Russians were like crawling all over the place. You even had some Iranians. Basically it was like the axis of evil was all right there in our Western Hemisphere. Like that made any sense. Not to mention, they've got a ton of oil.
Starting point is 00:57:42 Don't we want access to that oil? We want to give it to China? No. And then you think about what's happening in the Middle East right now. Again, you know, 20% of the world's supply goes right through that straight of Hermuz. And it's not getting through right now. So yeah, oil prices are a little heady. And they may still go up for the next few weeks until this settles down.
Starting point is 00:58:03 The president's done a couple of things. He said he's promising cheap insurance. And he's even promised to escort U.S. military would escort ships, cargo ships through, if necessary. So they'll get there eventually. But what's fascinating is we are now going to control the chokehold. So if you're China and you want energy from Iran or energy from anywhere in the Middle East, if we're the presence over there, you're going to have to come through us, right? We're the ones that are going to be escorting people through the straight of Hormuz.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Think about that. Because we're so worried about Taiwan, right? Well, we've just kind of won up to them in the whole game of international triumph because now they don't have any energy without our blessing. So this was very smartly done. Marco Rubio first going in in Venezuela. I mean, all of a sudden you got Delsey Rodriguez, the new president who used to be Maduro's VP,
Starting point is 00:59:05 thanking President Trump. They made her an offer, shall we say, that she could not refuse. The alternative was to go out like Maduro dead. She learned that lesson pretty well. And now we're over there looking at what's going to happen in Iran. And what did we see?
Starting point is 00:59:27 Take a look. I like this. The apprentice, Iran style. Trump says he must be involved in picking Iran's new leader. Which means, ladies and gentlemen, we are going to control what goes down in Iran. Now, I realize a lot of you may be isolationalists and not really into this, but here's the problem with being an isolationist in a new, brave new world. If you choose to just stay home and shut all your doors and ignore the world around you, that world could come for you. And so when they say, is this America first?
Starting point is 01:00:13 And I realize there's a contingency in the MAGA movement. They're not even MAGA. I mean, look at what Donald Trump said about Tucker Carlson recently. He's lost his way, but I don't think it was ever MAGA. I don't think he ever was either, frankly. But if you're, say, an isolationist who believes that we should not be anywhere, at some point, you want to turn yourself into France? You want to be reliant on the rest of the world for their crumbs? I think not. You got power.
Starting point is 01:00:48 Use it. Stay on top. Be the top dog. And that's what he's doing. because it's the right thing for America at this point in time. We're not going to play nice. We're not going to give them $56 billion and then say, pretty please, stop your nuclear program.
Starting point is 01:01:09 No, no, no. We're not playing nice at all. We're playing for keeps. You're not going to have a nuclear program. You can join the world economy on our terms. And by the way, if you play by our terms, you can have a nice life. if you decide to double down on the mullahs, you're going to have not so nice a life.
Starting point is 01:01:31 I think the decision is pretty easy. I mean, you just look at the people in the streets and how happy they are and excited. And, you know, I've spoken with sources in the business world from Iran over the years, and they would always say to me, if we could just get rid of the mullahs, if we just didn't have an Ayatollah.
Starting point is 01:01:46 I mean, think about what this country is capable of. Donald Trump is saying, Maiga, make Iran great. Again, it could be the start of a beautiful friendship. Who knows? But I'll tell you, he is playing for keeps. He's not messing around. And things are changing for the better.
