Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome everyone to the live show. I've got to tell you, Ilhan Omar is in a real state of panic right now, as she should be, as she should be, because what has just come out is absolutely appalling. This is brand new. And, you know, it's amazing. When you think of the gall of some of these people, she specifically, when I refer to some of these people, the idea that she would be trying to push through a million bucks worth of funding for one of these 501C3 things at a time like this is actually pretty despicable, incredibly dishonorable, given everything that's come out, given everything we now know, and she's still there trying to help her friends out at a moment like this, leave it to Senator Joni Ernst who uncovered the whole thing. It is unbelievable. I want to show
Starting point is 00:00:44 you what she had to say on my friend Stuart Varnies program the other day. You know, the good news is this isn't happening, but what should shock all of you is the fact that Ilhan was trying to get it through? covered the other day and one of our spending bills making its way through Congress was an one million dollar earmark from representative ilan omar of minnesota which was an earmark that was supposedly going to a substance abuse clinic which actually happened to be housed in a restaurant and run by three individuals that share the same residential address according to their irs paperwork Tons of red flags. So this is what we saw with the fraud involving the daycare centers. Now we see other earmarks coming directly from members of Congress where it seems fraud is being perpetrated as well. So I raised the issue and fortunately the House has now stripped that earmark out of that spending bill. But again, this is how easy money has been flooded.
Starting point is 00:01:55 to bad actors in Minnesota. Oh my gosh. I mean, thank goodness that got stripped out, but the idea that somehow that it could have been in. Oh, and what's appalling to me, so incredibly amazing is that Ilhan, with everything that's going on right now, you'd think that maybe she would want to be a little bit more cautious. I mean, she's now gotten so trapped up in that feeding the future program, $250 million. And of course, the majority of people that were benefiting, from that program, the majority of arrests, the majority of convictions have all come from none
Starting point is 00:02:30 other than Ilhan Omar's district. Think about that for a couple seconds, all right? She's like, oh, you know, they're targeting us. Well, I'm sorry. I mean, it seems to me there's a little something going on. Here's the Fox headline. They said left wing Dems steer $1 million dollars to addiction group operating above Minneapolis, Somali restaurant amid fraud fallout Republican Senator targets $1 million earmark as Minnesota faces massive fraud scandal potentially exceeding $1 billion. Whoa. Okay, so left-wing Dems steering a million bucks to this addiction center, even in the
Starting point is 00:03:02 midst of all this, okay? Everything that's going down. And by the way, everything that she already knew about all the fraud, because there's been plenty of convictions. This has been going on for a while. I mean, go back to 2018, for goodness sakes. And yet she's still trying to do it again. What does that tell you?
Starting point is 00:03:17 So here's Ernst speaking with Fox News Digital just last week, saying the scale and frequency of fraud in Minnesota is staggering, but I fear just the tip of the iceberg. It's an expression that Besson used the other day, too. I'm going to show it to you what he had to say. Congress owes it to American people to clean up the mess instead of letting the same exact politicians who created it keep picking out at the trough. I mean, oh, what a little piggy she really is, right? Ilhan, enough is enough. Come on, girl. I mean, you been found out, you've been discovered. I think it's time to, you know, hang it up, if you would. And yet here she is earmarking a million dollars, $31,000 for a group called Generation Hope. know, you got to hand it to them. They really have the most clever names for these things. You know, for people that can't exactly, you know, speak English maybe as well. And by the way,
Starting point is 00:04:05 don't, you know, it is what it is. We saw the Learing Center, right? Not the Learning Center, but the Learing Center, but I got to hand it to you. I mean, it was not a bad idea to call it the Learning Center if they could have only spelled it correctly. The Learing Center, not so much. But, you know, this is Minnesota Hope. It sounds good. It sounds official. and, you know, then we learn the reality of it all. Somali-led organization, they said on their website, our team includes individuals in recovery and mental health professionals such as licensed counselors and peer recovery support specialists and community members.
Starting point is 00:04:38 The group's website lists a couple of addresses for the Addiction Recovery Center in Minneapolis, including a location on Cedar Avenue, but it turns out that Cedar Avenue address is also the location for a Somali restaurant called Segal Restaurant and Coffee. So apparently they were confronted about this and they're like, no, no, yeah, we're the restaurant, but we have some offices on the second floor of the restaurant. That's where the center is for the addiction. Please, okay? I'll tell you one thing. I mean, this is terrible to say. But for goodness sakes, I mean, you know how we talk about the Somali pirates and how dangerous the Smalley pirates and how all these shipping companies for oil and natural gas they have to insure against the Somali pirates. And And, you know, it's like a form of piracy right here in our own country. I mean, heck, you got to give them credit for the ability to steal, for goodness sakes. Like, like, I mean, I just, I'm appalled. I'm absolutely appalled.
Starting point is 00:05:39 And this woman, Ilhan Omar, clearly not appalled. Clearly was willing to, you know, still fork over a million bucks and change to another group. I mean, what is going on? How is any of this possible? Here's one of her responses over the weekend. I'm telling you, she's freaking out, like near meltdown there on MSNBC, pointing a lot of fingers. Watch. I'm so exhausted in trying to ask what any of this information has led to you finding any
Starting point is 00:06:10 finding any criminals that you have indicted that explains why you are wasting so much of our taxpayer resources and also terrorizing our communities in the amount of federal law enforcement agents that you have in the streets of our city and our state. There needs to be some sort of justification. So what kind of proof do you have? What kind of justification do you have? Oh, Ilhan, honey, you know what? I think they get a fair amount at this point, just, you know, trying to catch you up, bringing you up to speed.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I'd say there's a fair amount of justification starting with, oh, I don't know, your district? Of the 87 people charged all but eight are of Somali descent, and that has added to the spotlight being put specifically on your community. Why do you think this fraud was allowed to get so widespread? I want to say, you know, this also has an impact on Somalis. Because we are also taxpayers in Minnesota. We also could have benefited from the program and the money that was stolen. And so it's been really frustrating for people to not acknowledge the fact that we're, you know, we're also as Minnesotaans as taxpayers really upset and angry about the fraud that has occurred.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Oh, yeah, really upset, really angry. I mean, you guys are the ones that are benefiting from it the entire time, but I find it kind of funny. Here she is on the one hand over the weekend. How is this justified? How is this justified for them to go in there and search all of our businesses? Oh, by the way, they've been walking out with all kinds of stuff. But, you know, I'll tell you, it's justified. It's justified, one, because most of the fraud is coming from her district.
Starting point is 00:08:04 And two, because Scott Besson, Treasury Secretary said they're finding more and more and more everyday, ladies and gentlemen. listen to him speaking at the economic club of Minnesota important stuff to hear the IRS called criminal investigations and the these men and women they are cool cats they they can take apart a balance sheet and they can knock down a door and arrest someone like they go out on patrols they can make arrests it's this very interesting hybrid force about 2,500 of them and they led the charge here. So it was IRS CI's who uncovered the initial fraud and the prosecutions. So it's with that group, with other groups at IRS, and with the powers of the Treasury to track where the money came from, where it's going. We saw this very unsettling
Starting point is 00:09:07 news yesterday that many people involved here with the administration of these programs have tried to go back and they recreate documents, change documents, and we're not going to have that. We're going to hold people accountable. We're going to press this to the full extent possible. And like I said, I think that this may just be, it's a cold day outside, so this could be the tip of the iceberg here in Minnesota. Whoa. Okay, so this is just the beginning and I want to go back to him in a short while because like I said, he's not kidding when he said it's just the beginning and that this is just the tip of the iceberg. I want to show you just some of what they've been collecting. Take a look. Okay, so you're looking at video there of some of these people are from Treasury. Some of these people are
Starting point is 00:10:05 from DHS. I mean, heck, you even got the Department of Agriculture there, but they're going in and they're finding all these files. And you heard Besson just explain that some of these Somali groups are actually trying to change the files right now as we speak so that they can try and make this look legit. We've heard reports that they've even been quote unquote casting right for kids at some of these daycare centers. It's really, really, really bad. And Ilhan Omar is freaked out because guess what? All roads leak back to her district. And you've got to wonder, how did a woman go from, you know, negative $65,000 in debt to being worth as much as $30 million. Just like that. Huh. You know, this massive fraud is, as we said, just the tip of the iceberg. The Treasury Secretary
Starting point is 00:10:55 said it could be so much worse. We've got the GAO accounting office. This is a nonpartisan entity predicting something more like $600 billion, you guys, $600 billion. No, not $19 billion, not the original billion that they were talking about in the 19 billion out of Minnesota, but $600 billion nationwide. This is a big freaking deal. Watch. Press this to the full extent possible. And like I said, I think that this may just be, it's a cold day outside, so this could be the tip of the iceberg here in Minnesota, but it's probably may not be as prevalent, but the dollars may be bigger and larger in other states. And just to put this in perspective for American taxpayers, for American families, the GAO, the General Accounting Office believes that there is somewhere between 3 and 600 billion of annual fraud, roughly 10% of government spending that disappears due to fraud.
Starting point is 00:12:00 If we can recapture that, that is 1 to 2% of GDP. Oh, my gosh. 10% of government spending, 1 to 2% of GDP. I mean, this is going to be amazing if we can recapture it. And by the way, he's got a few ways to go about this. You know, for one thing, you get all those, you get all in there just walking out with buckets full of stuff. And then you also have Scott Besson saying, you know what?
Starting point is 00:12:26 We're going to find it one way or another at Treasury. We want to make sure that none of this money, by the way, is going over to illicit terror groups overseas. He told Laura Ingram this, just late last week. I want to play the clip. $1,000. Oh, good. And we're also targeting the two counties here, and we're going to do enhanced surveillance.
Starting point is 00:12:46 And from now on, anyone who wires money out from one of these money service businesses has to check a box, saying whether they are on public assistance. And if you were on public assistance, we're going to start pushing that you cannot wire money out of the country. Oh, gosh. Well, what if they lie?
Starting point is 00:13:05 And they don't tell us for public assistance? Well, then... That's a crime, while I'm not a federal form. We're going to follow it up, and we are going to push that you can no longer do that. The American people, our generosity, has been taken advantage of. Our generosity is funding al-Shabaab, in Iranian interest, it could be. Well, the money... I mean, this is really bad.
Starting point is 00:13:26 The money is supposed to go for alleged asylum seekers and their families and children, and if you were wiring the money out of the country, one of two things must be true. you are getting too much money and your benefits should be cut, or you are part of this conspiracy. Where did that money come from? We're going to find it out. That's what Treasury does. IRS has a group called criminal investigations.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Criminal investigations was the group. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. So, yeah, IRS has a group called criminal investigations. I've done a lot of reporting over the years myself on this, and one of the challenges that they confront when they're dealing, with Islamic terror groups is that they work through something called the Huala Network. And the Huala Network is sort of, you know, hand to hand, if you would, person to person,
Starting point is 00:14:16 and a little less traceable, but not fully untraceable. And that's the good thing. So it's going to take them a little bit of time. But believe me, Besson is serious about this. He's got $600 billion he can find. I mean, this is like Doge living on, right? Doge 2.0. And guess what? People are going to be in trouble. People are going to go to jail. Oh, yeah. I mean, again, there's a reason Ilhan Omar are so worried right now. There's a reason Timmy Walls decided not to run for governor in Minnesota again right now.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Comer, he's pretty disappointed in a lot of things, Pam Bondi, but he's confident, given that they've just announced they're going to appoint a totally new person that's beholden only to the president, not to Pam. he's confident they're going to find just exactly what went down. Let me play you the clip. This is from Catherine Harage's show on Twitter. To X. At the end of the day, I've been disappointed in some of the criminal referrals that are collecting dust on Attorney General Bondi's desk.
Starting point is 00:15:21 I've made that very clear with the White House. I'm hopeful that we'll see some action soon on the criminal referrals that range everywhere from Dr. Fauci to the Biden family influence peddling scheme. So we've got that. But now with respect to Minnesota, I'm very confident the Department of Justice is going to make several border requests. They've already made several arrests, dozens of arrests down there. And they're working on dozens of prosecutions. But that's the tip of the iceberg. And the Department of Justice knows it.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Homeland Security obviously is down there. You've got the Department of Ag looking at some of these food programs. So I think everyone in the Trump administration, HUD, all the different agencies, are serious about apprehending these fraudsters. So you're confident there will be arrests and criminal charges brought in Minnesota in 2026? Absolutely. Back to the Justice Department. Has the Justice Department done enough? Well, I would like to see more.
Starting point is 00:16:17 I'm an optimistic person. I believe that they're working very hard. And I know the president has a lot of confidence in Pam Bondi. So hopefully they will be more successful in prosecuting some of these people that we've provided congressional evidence that have broken the law. I'm sure you've seen a lot of the comments on X. This is a very popular chart on X. It says zero arrests for some scandals that are very important to Republicans. Is that what accountability looks like? That's the biggest complaint of every Republican on the House Oversight Committee is there haven't been enough arrest. Now, some of these
Starting point is 00:17:02 Some of those issues, I don't know, it's going to be hard to arrest people. With the Biden autopin scandal, what we produced in our investigation is evidence that the pardons and executive orders that were signed with the autopin in the last year of the Biden administration should be declared null and void. Now, President Trump tweeted after we issued our report that he was going to declare a null and void. But I don't believe the paperwork's ever been done and you're still going to have to go to court. for that, but our congressional investigation will serve as basis to uphold the declaration of those pardons and executive orders being declared null and void. So, you know, he's going off on Bondi. He and I agree on that one.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Effectively, you know, nothing has happened that we need to have happened. And there's so much there. Granted, she's sitting on a pile of dirt, right? Like, she's got so much stuff. But for whatever reason, it's not being well managed. And that leaves people less confident in what's going to happen in terms of this fraud in Minnesota, et cetera, except that I am taking heart in the fact that you got Scott Besson out there on the ground in Minnesota.
Starting point is 00:18:09 You saw him there with Laura Ingram saying, hey, we need to get to the bottom of this. And I have a feeling that this is one of the reasons why they decided to put a new person in charge of this particular investigation. We got this news last week. Watch. Because we are creating a new assistant attorney general position who will have nationwide jurisdiction over the issue of fraud. And that's important, okay?
Starting point is 00:18:32 really, really important. But, you know, Ilhan Omar is facing all kinds of allegations, all kinds of speculation now in terms of the ethics committee with her situation. I mean, for one thing, you know, she's out there complaining every which way to Sunday. But I got to say, you know, when push comes to shove and they're looking for somebody to put behind bars, I have a feeling all roads are going to lead back to the woman who is overseeing the district there, congressionally speaking, with all of this fraud and was even trying to get as recently as last week another million dollars and 31,000 through, I guess for one of her friends, it runs another Somali restaurant. Oh, I hope she eats for free.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Here's Scott Jenin saying, yeah, you better believe if someone's going to jail and it's going to be an official. That nothing is being done, that no one is being held accountable, that this was just let to run rampant is completely false. Well, some people have been held accountable, but I think in the opinion of most Republicans, not nearly enough. And truthfully, until somebody in a position of power, until somebody in a position in Minnesota elected position who was in charge of administering this or having some oversight over it goes to jail, it's honestly never going to stop. Look what's going on in blue states across the country. Nine billion in Minnesota, 70 billion in fraud in California, cooking the crime stats in Washington, D.C. When is someone in a position of power going to go to jail for the rampant fraud. What I am telling you, though, is in the case of these states and locales, this is public money, taxpayer money. People get elected. They're supposed to run this program.
Starting point is 00:20:15 The DOJ is doing their job every single day. The Medicaid program is run by the state. And he bragged about putting more money into this daycare system that is obviously rife with fraud. You know, I, I got to say this. I found it really fascinating how Ilhan Omar, within the span of a week, started changing her tune on how much money may have gone back to al-Shabaab. So Al-Shabaab is a terror organization, connected with al-Qaeda, connected with ISIS, connected with Somalia, and apparently connected with the state of Minnesota, because with all the money, the remittances that were going
Starting point is 00:20:50 back to Somalia, I mean, you have more than the government budget alone, just in remittances coming from the United States of America. Like Scott Besson said, you know, maybe they, they need that much money if they can send that much home. But here's the question, how much of it was going to the quote unquote cause, right? How much was being skimmed off the top? This is the question. This is the question that's going to come up for treasury as well as the IRS, but specifically for treasury. And this is where Ilhan Omar is going to find herself in a really tough spot. So notice how she has this really dogmatic approach shortly after Thanksgiving and by December 7, things had changed dramatically.
Starting point is 00:21:29 And now she's just trying to hang her hat on the Renee Good thing, right? Like that's what they're going to push all day long because they're trying to shift away the story from what it really is, which is that American citizens have been defrauded, all while people are here illegally committing crimes in the United States of America, and that's not okay. Ilhan Omar, for what it's worth. There is not a single evidence that the president or his coonies have put forth,
Starting point is 00:21:56 that there are any single what did she call him? I think she means cronies. Was it coonies? Okay, like I said, you know, for those of you that want a constitutional amendment to make English, the actual language of the United States at moments like this, I empathize with you.
Starting point is 00:22:14 That there are any single resource from taxpayers in Minnesota that has gone to aid and abate terrorism. That language is dangerous, that language... I think that language is true, personally. Again, just knowing what I know about how these Huala systems work,
Starting point is 00:22:36 there's always a percentage that's skimmed off for the cause. You know that, Ilhan, don't play naive. The lives of Somalis, not only in Minnesota, but across the country in danger. If money from U.S. tax dollars is being sent to help with terrorism in Somalia, we want to know. And we want those people prosecute it. And we want to make sure that that doesn't ever happen again. Really?
Starting point is 00:23:03 Do you? I mean, again, what a difference a week makes? You notice nobody's asking her about this stuff now? No, because it's all been all the oxygen's just been sucked out of the room with the Renee good thing. You know, by the way, I'm going to have a premiere coming up later tonight. We're going to go through that tape. We're going to go through every angle. And we're going to go through some of what happened over the week.
Starting point is 00:23:24 weekend in terms of all the violence that we saw with people trying to beat down the doors of these ice hotels. I actually, I need to check off certain boxes, not to let you in on too much of how the sausage is made, but because it's rather violent video, I want to be cautious about it here in the live stream, but I will check off those boxes and bring that to you in a premiere. So make sure that you check back today because I'm going to be back with a whole lot more reporting because I want to show you that video. I really, really do. But Elon Musk, I'll tell you. loudest and with the most amount of fake, righteous indignation, the fraudsters. That's, it's a tell.
Starting point is 00:24:03 You listening? Minnesota? Yeah, you listening? Ilhan, the ones that are complaining the most and now she's facing all kinds of ethical questions. So again, we're talking about a woman whose net worth went from zero to 60, well, actually like zero to 30 million, overnight. And it's all when I guess she married Timmy, the other Timmy.
Starting point is 00:24:24 must be a popular name, as we've said, in the state of Minnesota. Timmy Minnet. So she marries him. He's her campaign manager, by the way. How lovely. So fishing from the company pond and paying them, paying them big because why not? Then you're paying yourself, right? And he gets all kinds of political consulting gigs because he's her wife, you know, kind of dipping in a few different areas there because he's some sort of a quasi-lobbyist or political consultant. I don't know. He calls himself a private equity investor. That's a little bit dubious, at least in my opinion, having looked at his website. But nonetheless, he's gone from zero to 60 or zero to $30 million overnight as well.
Starting point is 00:25:06 And this is something that James Comer is very concerned about and is referring to the ethics committee because they wonder, did she steal it? How exactly did she get this money? Watch. Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar was, quote, at the top of the suspect list. Can you elaborate? Well, we have to disclose annually our financial statements. And I think it's public knowledge what the salary is for Congress, and it's been the same. I've been here nine years. It's been the exact same, $174,000 for nine years.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Omar's been here maybe five or seven years. But regardless, her network just out of nowhere skyrocketed. We know it's tied to a venture capital. or private equity, some type of investment, two investment funds that are husbands running. We have a lot of questions about where the money came from. How do you make that much in fees in a short period of time? Is the Congresswoman Ilhan Omar? Is this a case that could be referred to the Ethics Committee? Absolutely. You know, the Ethics Committee's sole purpose in life is to investigate members of Congress. Will you refer her case to the Ethics Committee?
Starting point is 00:26:22 Absolutely. And I think that there are going to be a lot of members that will encourage the Ethics Committee to take this up. Because it's just a simple question. It shouldn't take very long. One little session with the Ethics Committee, you know, with basic questions, how did he amass this much money? And then if they're not satisfied with the answer, then they can certainly get those financial records. So way to go. Catherine Harridge, just got a good show on X. I encourage you to go check it out. But he's going to refer her to the Ethics Committee. I think there are some serious. questions. I mean, she's got a whole bunch of stuff that she's got to answer for, and we ought to be asking these questions, and we can't forget about these questions. Meanwhile, you think about the way that the media has been interpreting all of this, that's been pretty alarming and pretty
Starting point is 00:27:09 disgusting, frankly, and we've had a lot of officials, including J.D. Vance, the Vice President of the United States, calling them out on this, but I think that it's almost not enough. I mean, what we're seeing right now from the media is tremendous, tremendous. bias. Consider what just went down on the view. The bias on that show, I mean, is rather extraordinary. They, they kind of own that bias. I mean, all of them do, frankly. I mean, it's not just the view, but the view kind of has a monopoly on some of this. And they're to be, you know, they're very predictable, shall we say, sunny house and very, very predictable. But when you couple this together with everything that was going on over the weekend, like I said, you had people beating down the doors
Starting point is 00:27:50 of these hotels, it was really growing quite violent. You have people that are YouTubers or ex-video folks on the ground in Minneapolis and they're recording all of that, but you don't see it. You don't see it in the mainstream media at all. I'm going to be showing again, tune in for the premiere coming up this evening because you need to see all this to really fully comprehend how dangerous it is there and why is it that nobody's really doing anything about it. Instead, they're just griping again about somebody and you know I don't want to underscore how horrible it is that anybody loses their life but come on I mean you don't get out there in front of an ice agent who's got a gun and sit there and try and veer off and look as though you're going to run them over I mean that's
Starting point is 00:28:34 that's a recipe for disaster period end of story and by most accounts she had been trained to be an agitator in these events and you even if you listen to the video you hear her wife in the background encouraging her. It's bad. Okay. It's really bad. And yet this is what you hear on the view. I think that there will be oversight. And I think that right now there are people in Congress that are interested in impeaching Christy Knoehm. And I think she will be held to. Okay, that's the latest talking point. They want Christy Knoem impeached. Give me a break. You know, we have a federal government for a reason. The federal government has to be able to do its job. If you guys want to change the laws, you can change the laws.
Starting point is 00:29:20 Christie said that herself. But guess what? DHS is responsible for enforcing the laws. You want to know who sent more migrants out of this country than any other president in history. That happened to have been Barack Obama. But where were you complaining then? Oh, no, because he's on your side. I see.
Starting point is 00:29:35 I see how this works. Continue watching. One day. But let me say this about this killing. This was an unlawful killing. It was against DOJ policy to shoot at a, at a, at a vehicle that's leaving the scene. It's against the Supreme Court ruling in 1985
Starting point is 00:29:53 that sort of deadly use of force in shooting at a vehicle. So we all know that it's unlawful, regardless of whether or not you believe she was an agitator, regardless of whether or not you believe she was in the way. The bottom line is the officer's actions were unlawful. That was an unlawful killing. From a legal perspective, that's very black and white for me. What's interesting to me...
Starting point is 00:30:17 For you... is the way that this administration is saying that... I mean, because what she's forgetting here is that even a law enforcement officer is entitled to self-defense. And if you think somebody's going to kill you, because you think you're going to get run over by a car, then you're going to react. Hello, and you ought to be able to react.
Starting point is 00:30:39 And if you take away that, you're really taking away all of their ability to defend themselves. I mean, this is wild, but we continue. transparent when in fact there is a shadow investigation going on by the federal government without the state law enforcement being involved. They whisked this officer away out of state without being interviewed by state and local authorities. They denied state and local authorities the ability to review the crime scene. They impounded the car.
Starting point is 00:31:13 So why we're seeing so many different vantage points is because the state's, you know, the state, law enforcement had to ask the public for video. I like your comments. I'm reading these in real time. Cue the canned applause. I mean, gosh, almighty, right? I mean, that tells you enough that this show has to go. I'm so sick of the canned applause at the view. They literally hold up a sign. Like, someone's job is to hold up a sign and goose the audience to do this, that, or the other. Come on. Not to mention the poor person that has to book all the guests for the audience. That show is so done in every way. But nonetheless,
Starting point is 00:31:48 It still has a mouthpiece and a platform for which to sit on. And Sunny still gets to spot all this nonsense, which again, I just say people have a right to self-defense, even those police officers, right? And that's why you don't do what that lady did. Like common sense. You know, it's been quite a weekend, though. As much as we've seen all this violence and it was bad over the weekend, you still have people attacking Christy Gnome.
Starting point is 00:32:13 You heard Sonny Hauston trying to advance this idea that somehow she should be impeached, et cetera. And then she goes on to CNN and she did a pretty good job. She kind of smack down tapper who needed a little smack and watch. Doing a disservice to the officer by reaching a conclusion before the investigation takes plans. I haven't heard you say once what a disservice it's done for Mayor Fry to get up and to tell ice to get the F out of his city. And AOC to stand up before she had any of the facts and called this officer a murderer. I just, individuals, well, call them out. Jake, spend as much time calling them out. I have provided you with facts and information to back up every single word that we have said
Starting point is 00:32:53 and every single part of this investigation. And if you don't like it, that's fine. But we're going to continue to do the right thing to keep the American people safe. I know that you'd like that. So there you go. Meanwhile, Carolyn Levitt today came out swinging. Because she's like, well, did you people not watch the same video? No, they didn't watch the same video because guess what?
Starting point is 00:33:13 They don't want to see that. They don't want to see reality. They're living in their own la la land. But the truth is, some bad stuff happened over the weekend. And we've got complete, complete, like, breakdown in any kind of law and order. And instead of saying, hey, you know, we've got to restore some kind of balance here, they're fine with the craziness? Not even Washington, D.C. was, right?
Starting point is 00:33:37 Washington, D.C. was fine with the president going in there with his national guards that they could actually get things under control. Listen to Caroline. President Trump and I actually. spoke about this last night and how Secretary Noem is doing a phenomenal job, not just securing the border, which she and the president did together in record time, but also in defense of the brave men and women of ICE who put on a law enforcement uniform every single day to protect our communities and to protect all of you. And every American, regardless of they
Starting point is 00:34:06 are Democrat or Republican, ICE is doing a very important job to remove illegal alien criminals from our communities. And I think it's very striking that all weekend long, you had agitators and violent American citizens out in the streets of Minneapolis protesting. Protesting what exactly? Apparently they are protesting the removal of criminals from a city that I can guarantee you. When you look at the list of the illegal criminals that ICE is removing from our communities every day, not a single person in those protests and not a single person standing here that works in the mainstream media in Washington, D.C. would want those individuals in your neighborhood, in your community, around your children, and around your families. ICE is doing an incredibly important job that's not just
Starting point is 00:34:54 important to our homeland security, but our national security. And this administration will continue to stand wholeheartedly by the brave men and women of ICE, including that officer in Minneapolis, who was absolutely justified in using self-defense against a lunatic who was part of a group, an organized group to interject and to impede on law enforcement operations. And it's disgusting what we have seen from the left. You better believe it is really disgusting what we have seen from the left. And yet they keep it up, they keep it up. Even Ms. Ilhan Omar herself going on the CBS airwaves again to, of course, blame ice.
Starting point is 00:35:36 See, from the recordings that we see, is there anything that you, believe was that was being done that should not have been done by Macklin Good. The administration says she was blocking the road. They are claiming this is an act of terrorism. Yeah, Renee Nicole Good, as you hear her say, she's not mad. She's sitting in her car, peacefully waving cars to get by. This agent, as you see, gets out of his car, automatically starts running towards her, trying to open her door. She feels scared. She tries to turn the wheel away. And then you see the other officer who can clearly see the car is moving,
Starting point is 00:36:18 move towards the front of the car, which if they are saying that he has 10 years on service and is trained, he should know that you shouldn't be trying to get in front of a moving car. And so it is not acceptable for Christy Nome and the president and the vice president to make these kind of judgments without there being a full investigation, even though we can see in the videos that have been produced so far that what they are describing is really not what is taking place. And so if they're saying that we shouldn't believe our eyes, then let the investigation take place before you characterize this mother of three
Starting point is 00:37:02 as a domestic terrorist, prove to us what documentation you have, that one that she was paid, two, that she was agitating when we can hear her say she's not mad, she's not upset, she's clearly trying to waive car. I hate to say this, but I think it was all by design. Don't forget, it's been reported in the New York Post and communicated by the White House that she had attended some kind of conference, some kind of school, if you would, some kind of training for being an agitator.
Starting point is 00:37:31 And it's almost like they were just kind of, you know, she was supposed to play, Mr. Nice Guy. I really, you know, I question again what she was doing there in the first place. And Ilhan Omar is talking her book. In other words, she wants to get people less focused on, oh, I don't know the million dollars that she was trying to slip to Somali restaurant as recently as last week. Thank you, Joni, yours, Senator from, I believe, Ohio, Iowa, for pointing that one out. I mean, my gosh, my gosh. Let's finish up her little soundbag.
Starting point is 00:38:01 To bypass her. And so it's just this level of rhetoric is unjustifiable to the American people. No, you want to know what's unjustifiable to the American people? The $600 billion that's estimated to be gonzow. Okay, that's what's unjustifiable. We want every stinking dollar back. But I realize that's probably not going to happen. So here's the deal.
Starting point is 00:38:23 We're not going to give out any more money for any more your daycare centers or your this center or you're feeding the future. But done, okay? We don't have it to give. We're not going to give it anymore. It's over. The gravy train has ended. You better find another country to go to and fleece.
Starting point is 00:38:42 Period. Full stop. And you know, I'm sick of the media. I'm sick of the media, always in the tank for these lips. It's like they're so distorted. They can't see anything with their own two eyes. J.D. called him out on it last week. It was pretty epic and pretty great.
Starting point is 00:39:00 We need that after listening to Ilhan. I'll take some questions, but I want to make just one final observation here. When I was actually walking out here, somebody sent me a photo of a CNN headline about what happened in Minneapolis. And this is the headline. I'm just going to read it. Outrage after ICE officer kills U.S. citizen in Minneapolis. Well, that's one way to put it. And that is the way that many people in the corporate media have put this attack over the last 24 hours. And I say attack very, very intentionally because this was an attack on federal law enforcement.
Starting point is 00:39:36 This was an attack on law and order. This was an attack on the American people. The way that the media, by and large, has reported this story, has been an absolute disgrace. And it puts our law enforcement officers at risk every single day. What that headline leaves out is the fact that that very ICE officer nearly had his life ended, dragged by a car six months ago 33 stitches in his legs
Starting point is 00:40:01 so you think maybe he's a little bit sensitive about somebody ramming him with an automobile what that headline leaves out is that that woman was there to interfere with a legitimate law enforcement operation in the United States of America
Starting point is 00:40:13 what that headline leaves out is that that woman as part of a broader left wing network to attack to docks to assault and to make it impossible for our ICE officers to do their job
Starting point is 00:40:24 if the media wants to tell the truth, they ought to tell the truth that a group of left-wing radicals have been working tirelessly, sometimes using domestic terror techniques to try to make it impossible for the President of the United States to do what the American people elected him to do, which is enforce our immigration laws. The President stands with ICE. I stand with ICE. We stand with all of our law enforcement officers. And part of that is recognizing that you people in the media, not everybody in this room, but many people in this room have been lying about this. attack. She was trying to ram this guy with his, with her car. He shot back. He defended himself.
Starting point is 00:41:04 He's already been seriously wounded in law enforcement operations before. And everybody who's been repeating the lie, that this is some innocent woman who was out for a drive. According to Sonny Houston and her little friends on the view, and according to Ilhan Omar, you're not allowed to defend yourself. You have somebody coming straight out you. Didn't we hear this? Was it Chicago, I think, where the, oh, the police chief in Chicago was told that he couldn't help anyone with ICE. Because remember Brandon Johnson, the mayor there was like, we're not helping in any way, shape or form. And so the police chief got up there and he said, hey, I want to be really clear.
Starting point is 00:41:34 If you surround an ice officer like that, if you actually, you know, these guys have guns. And if you threaten them with a car with a 4,000 pound vehicle, guess what's going to happen? You're going to be, well, you know, down under, as they say. That's what's going to happen. And that's indeed what happened. It's impediment of law enforcement, but it's more than that. You're now threatening law enforcement. And that's what got so scary.
Starting point is 00:41:59 We're going to have more on that. And I'm going to play you all the video in the premiere this evening. But first, you know, the whole city's up in arms. You get total bedlam going on. And you've got corporations go, whoa! Like corporations are like, what do I do now? Right? Because, you know, we kind of learn the hard way from Bud Light that you don't want to lean
Starting point is 00:42:16 into this nonsense too too much. And so they're at least trying to stand tall in the face of it. McDonald's confronting a boycott here after a reporter. showed up at one of the McDonald's and saw a big no ice sign out there, big no ice sign, and an armed guard. Well, actually, I don't know if the guard was armed, but some really serious looking guy talking to her about how, well, this is private property, you can't come on. Let me just say, before we go to this video, sure, it's private property, but you're a franchise owner, okay? Like, when you sign up for the freaking franchise, you're buying in full, full line hook and sinker. I mean, you get
Starting point is 00:42:57 Everything. Everything in the kitchen sink, all right? They just plop it on you. You get, you get a binder that's like this thick. When you become a McDonald's or a Dunkin' Donuts or a subway or a dominoes or whatever you are, franchise owner, you're signing up whether you like it or not to keep your doors open even for people you don't like, like the Department of Homeland Security. Okay, did you hear that McDonald's? Do you hear that Marriott? Did you hear that Hilton? All of you. Take a look. Make it ease, really? And this McDonald's in Minneapolis. There's a on the door that says ice is not allowed. We couldn't help but notice there's a sign that says no ice on the door.
Starting point is 00:43:34 Yeah, just to let you know at the end of the day, this is private property. So you can't just break the law because you're a federal agent. It's like coming into your house or coming to any other restaurant. There's rules. Did the manager put that on the door? How did that get there? I'm not sure, but it's there. Oh, that's not good for McDonald's. I could see this becoming a bud light situation rather quickly. And it would be a shame.
Starting point is 00:43:58 game, given that the president likes those fries so much. Okay? It would become a bud light situation very, very quickly. In fact, I was looking at all the comments of you guys over the weekend because we did play that in one of the shorts and you're like, I'm out. Like, I don't need McDonald's. It's not good for you anyway. I don't really like it. I haven't eaten McDonald's in 10 years and I'm definitely not going to start now or I did like McDonald's, but they were getting too expensive anyway, so I'm out. I mean, it was like this outpouring. I couldn't believe it. You guys had very, very strong feelings about this. I get the point. You don't like McDonald's to begin with. And then they did this. So then it was like, game over. I'm out. Sick of it. You know, it's too bad because the president,
Starting point is 00:44:35 and as I said, he really likes his fries and he likes his coax and he likes his Big Macs. But McDonald's, what are you thinking? Well, they saw this. And then they then responded to my friend Benny over on, he's got a good show, the Benny show. He put out a question to them, hey, what your response? And they responded by saying, we want to make it really clear. We spoke to this franchise owner, this franchisee, and that person now knows to take down the sign and to welcome all ICE and DHS agents into the store. So there you go, right? It shows you like the power of the conservative movement and the power of all of us to mobilize. And I think ever since Bud Light, they've really had this reckoning. I mean, you think about Cracker Barrel after they did what they did and they got rid of,
Starting point is 00:45:18 you know, the supposed old Cracker, right? In the logo. Well, he's back now. And They're figuring out pretty quickly that we have a voice and we care pretty passionately about things and we're not going to have our culture stamped out and we're not going to stand for this. And you can't just as a place of business say we're not going to allow for ICE and DHS to be able to eat here. Just like you can't say, okay, we're not going to allow government employees to stay at the Hilton Hotel. This guy is good. I want to show you a Nick's order. He was actually, he's going to be in my premiere tonight because he was all over Minneapolis this weekend.
Starting point is 00:45:53 and he actually got caught in some rather precarious situations. Again, I need to check off certain boxes because it's sensitive materials, so we'll do that tonight. But Nick was out at the Hilton after they had a similar situation, like McDonald's, right? Like McDonald's is like, oh, oops, we took care of it. Corporate says we took care of it. So did they really take care of it? In the case of the Hilton Hotel, you had a Hampton Inn that said no ICE agents,
Starting point is 00:46:16 no DHS, no government employees welcome here, period, end of story. And then it was reported on. And so immediately Hilton said, nope, we spoke with the franchise owner and the franchise company actually issued a statement saying, nope, we're not going to allow for that. Everybody's allowed to stay here. We're, you know, an equal place, et cetera. And then leave it to this kid. This guy goes back and he tries to book a room as a quote unquote government employee, DHS. And look what happens.
Starting point is 00:46:50 I don't know if you can use a government rate or not, but. Uh, let's see. It depends because there's a lot of stuff going on right now. Okay, so you hear that guy saying there's a lot of stuff going on right now. I'm not so sure. And so we're going to fast forward a little bit. Basically, it's this back and forth, and I've shown it on the program before, which is why I'm going to fast forward.
Starting point is 00:47:07 But it says, this guy is like, ah, I don't know as I can. I don't know as I can. Hilton, in a statement from a spokesperson said Hilton Hotel serve as a welcoming place for all. The hotel that you're talking about, right, is independently owned and operated, and the actions referenced are not reflective of Hilton values. We are investigating this further with the individual hotel, and we can confirm that Hilton works with governments, law enforcement and community leaders around the world to ensure our properties are open and inviting to everyone.
Starting point is 00:47:32 I guess just not this one. So it continues on. And then we see that this is the flagship property, this Hampton Inn of something called Ever Peak Hotels. And then Ever Peak Hotels apparently released a statement saying, we have moved swiftly to address this matter as it was inconsistent with our policy of becoming a welcoming place for all we were in touch with the impacted guests to ensure they are accommodated. We do not discriminate against any individuals or agencies and apologize to those impacted.
Starting point is 00:47:57 So think about that. Right before Nick went to show up at this place, they had just issued this. And so he's like, but wait a second, you guys said you weren't going to do this. And they were doing it anyway. Inconsistent with our policy of being a welcoming place for all. We were in touch with the impacted guests to ensure they are accommodated or discriminated to continue individuals or agencies and apologize to those impacted. No, no problem at all. Okay. Yeah, sorry about that.
Starting point is 00:48:22 No, no problem, right. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Can't give you room. Okay, let's go to Nick. All right. So they lied. They lied. Hilton and the hinton in out here and ever peak hospitality. Lied. Full of shit.
Starting point is 00:48:38 And now they are going to, well, let's just say they effed around and it's find out time. They almost got a little bit of a pass. the first time, right? You thought they may have learned their lesson. And this is why I said that their talk is, it means nothing. Right. Trust, but verify, to quote the great Ronald Reagan, Hilton drops bookings for hotel accused of turning away immigration agents.
Starting point is 00:49:07 So this was the upshot of it all. Hilton got word of Nick's report. And they said, okay, we're not going to work with this company anymore. I don't know if that means that they've lost their franchise altogether. And a lot of you guys are calling for that to be the action that happens at McDonald's. I read, you know, comment after comment after comment both on my page. You know, I do read all your comments, believe it or not. I'm crazy enough that I do. So, uh, careful what you write. Make sure it's good. Anyway, you were very animated about this and you're like,
Starting point is 00:49:36 McDonald's should drop this franchise owner. And so in the case of De Hilton, it seems that that is what's come out of this. And, you know, it's not just McDonald's. I mean, corporations overall right now, they're really fearing these boycotts ever since Bud Light. And Minneapolis right now has become ground zero as the temperature keeps getting higher and higher and higher and individual business owners want to take a stand against ICE DHS. Marriott was the latest example. So to Marriott confirming they have fired the employee who leaked names, emails, and images of ICE agents staying at the hotel.
Starting point is 00:50:11 The data was posted on an anti-ice Reddit group with the caption, ICE staying at Residence Inn in Bloomington and three males and three females staying at this hotel alongside photos of their information. Marriott's corporate office telling Fox News, quote, The privacy and safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us. ICE is praising the hotel chain for their quick action and pointed out that agents have faced a 1,300 percent rise in assaults. Oh my gosh. And did you see an 8,000 percent uptick in death threats? I mean, this is not good, okay? People like, this is Bedlam. And this is what they kind of are craving. This is what they want. They want to have a world that I think teeters on the verge of
Starting point is 00:50:55 civil war. And that's what you're looking at. I mean, unbelievable. Again, tune in for the premiere tonight because we're going to look at some of this video that is from the ground that is pretty controversial. I want to go back and look frame by frame at the video of what happened with Renee Good and we can discuss it because the idea that somehow you can't protect yourself, who the heck wants to go into law enforcement if you absolutely have no ability to protect yourself? You wonder why after 2020 and Black Lives Matter, incidentally, wasn't Minneapolis the location ground zero for Black Lives Matter after George Floyd? It's like they're just primed and ready for this and they've got politicians that are ginning it up. I was looking at this video. Again,
Starting point is 00:51:36 I can't play it right now because it's littered with obscenities. etc. But you had these women screaming at one reporter. This was in the day. Okay. And by nighttime, it was just so unruly. So we're going to look at all of that together. We also got to talk about what's going on at the Fed. But first, quick shout out to our friends over at Balance of Nature. You knew this was coming for you today, right? I like my Balance of Nature. You know what? You know, it's hard in the winter. You got to look out for Numero Uno. They know how to do that
Starting point is 00:53:29 apparently in Minnesota. All right, Fed Chief Powell. My gosh. Oh, my lirty. So we learned Fed Chief Powell is now the subject of criminal investigation. You know, the president has never really liked him. I can go back to my, what, my 2018 interview with President Trump, and he was knocking Powell back then. He wanted Powell to lower rates back then. I mean, he's a real estate guy, right? So he likes lower rates. What I would say in the president's defense is we do need lower rates right now. And for whatever reason, Powell's like out to lunch. Paul's the guy who just kept lowering rates and printing money. It was Qie Bananza, right, during 2020. and it was like, okay, enough already.
Starting point is 00:54:08 Things are like back to normal. People are going back to work. The economy's reopened. Why are you still printing? Was it because Janet Allen told you to? Is this how you kept your job with Joe Biden? I mean, is this how you got renewed for another term? He said, I'm just going to print into oblivion.
Starting point is 00:54:23 I could never understand it. Now, let's give him the benefit of the doubt and just assume he's a stupid academic from Princeton and just doesn't actually live in reality. So he's terrified that the economy is going to tank under his watch. So that's why he prints. But simultaneously, you had Biden handing out a third stimulus check and, oh, what do you know? You had Chuck and Nancy printing trillions more. Oh, I guess that went to the small-ies in Minnesota. They knew how to take advantage of that one. But everybody else just got stuck with higher and higher and higher prices. And so the president now is like, okay, you screwed up on that
Starting point is 00:54:57 end. But by the way, you're screwing up again because we need rates to come down. People have very high car loans right now. That mortgage rates are very high. Let's find a way to bring all of this. one of the interesting things that he did just late last week was he actually said, I'm going to have a whole big purchase of mortgages in the mortgage market by Fannie and Freddie. And that's one way to bring it down, right? But maybe the most easy way is to get rid of the Fed chief, which they're going to get rid of him anyway. His term is almost up and we're going to talk about who might come in.
Starting point is 00:55:27 But in the meantime, it's not good to be Jerome Powell right now. Let's watch. He's under criminal investigation. Good evening. On Friday, the Department of Justice... He looks a little scared. ...served the Federal Reserve with grand jury subpoenas, threatening a criminal indictment
Starting point is 00:55:46 related to my testimony before the Senate Banking Committee last June. That testimony concerned, in part, a multi-year project to renovate historic Federal Reserve office buildings. I have deep respect for the rule of law and for accountability in our democracy. No one, certainly not the chair of the Federal Reserve, is above the law. But this unprecedented action should be seen in the broader context of the administration's threats and ongoing pressure. In other words, they're targeting me. They're targeting me because they want me gone and they wish I'd just retire and I'm not going to retire until my term is up.
Starting point is 00:56:25 What I would say on this is, if you guys recall, the president has been really annoyed by how over budget the Federal Reserve's renovations have been. And so he's putting that on Jerome Powell. Now, you know, the flip side is, does Jerome Powell really know about Federal Reserve reservations, renovations, I should say? Yeah, he knows more about dinner reservations than he does about renovations at the Fed. And so when they were asking him questions, did he say something that, you know, maybe inadvertently was wrong? It's entirely possible.
Starting point is 00:56:56 And now they're going back to him saying, okay, well, you lied when you said that. So that's lying under oath, et cetera. I don't know if this is really going to get anywhere, but it's quite a headline. and I think probably pushes the pressure once again on Jerome Powell to maybe be thinking about the exit strategy. All that said, to a certain extent, like Powell, if you wanted to get him out today, now he's not going anywhere. Now he's like, I'm going to fight you for all it's worth. And oh, you know, Elizabeth Warren's going to join me. So this is really stunning.
Starting point is 00:57:25 And if I can, let me just back up for like two seconds to say, Fed Independence, you may hear those words a lot. But what it's really about and has been in place for decades and decades. I just going to say this is funny because now she suddenly cares about it. And yet there were so much pressure on him to cut rates during the Biden administration. I don't know how independent he was back then. But nonetheless, you know, Trump comes in. We do actually need rate cuts and he won't cut. Huh.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Democrats and Republicans saying that we count on the Fed to make monetary policy decisions, meaning interest rates up, interest rates down, based on their best interpretation of the data. Now, you can argue whether they get it right or get it wrong, but insulated from political pressure. And that's why they get these long terms. That's why their budget doesn't go through Congress or the president. Donald Trump has been trying virtually from the day he got into the White House
Starting point is 00:58:17 to get control of the Fed so that he can make the decisions about monetary policy. Donald Trump probably does know more about monetary policy, unfortunately, and then some of these academics like a Janet Yellen or, you know, a Ben Bernanke or an Ellen Greenspan or a Jerome Powell. If you look at everything the Fed always does, they're always a dollar late, day short and a dollar late, right? They're always like playing catch up, and they always do too much, and it's always screwing things up. It's why, you know, you listen to Ron Paul, he's like, just get rid of the Fed. Like, we don't need it at all. I mean, it's good. You need it if, like, oh, hell breaks loose and you are in a 2020 situation. You need an
Starting point is 00:58:59 injection of capital. That's when you use it. But you don't want to be using it too much along the way manipulating things this way or the other to the point where you get this massive inflation like we got. And then to the point where you wait and you twiddle your thumbs while the country stalls economically speaking. I mean, this is the problem. You could probably replace it with a computer program or dare I say AI and it would do a better job at actually figuring out where rates should be. Well, somebody is going to have that job pretty soon. I can tell you who my money is on. It's on Kevin.
Starting point is 00:59:33 Well, let's watch this together. Former Fed Board of Governor Kevin Warsh, current director of the National Economic Council, Kevin Hassett, current Federal Reserve Board of Governor Chris Waller, and now BlackRock Chief Investment Officer of Global Income, Rick Reeder. The president says he's going to decide on his next pick for Fed chair this month. Dana?
Starting point is 00:59:52 Okay. So I said it's going to be Kevin. I think it's going to be one of the Kevin's. My money at this point in time, if I were a betting woman, might be on Kevin Hassett, just that he has a great relationship with the president, the president trusts him, and he's a smart guy, he's a smart economist. The other Kevin, Kevin Warsh, is a possibility. I think the Black Rock guy, that might be a little bit more challenging, a little bit less palatable, certainly for the base, right, because they see Black Rock as kind of the enemy, so to speak.
Starting point is 01:00:22 Not that that'll matter ultimately. President Trump is going to pick the best person for the job. But I think one of the Kevin's, and my money is probably on Hassett at this point, Kevin Hacett. So watch for him to possibly get it. But here's the good news, guys. We're doing well, okay? This economy's on fire.
Starting point is 01:00:38 Did you see the Atlanta Fed the other day? I love it. I love it. I think Steve had it wrong. He says 5.3, but it's 5.4% growth that they are anticipating out of the fourth quarter for GDP growth. Oh, boy, the president's going to love this. My God, we just got a report from the Fed Atlanta Bank that says we grew at 5.3% in the fourth quarter. You're like can't even talk. He's so excited.
Starting point is 01:01:04 It's an absolutely booming economy right now. We're booming, okay? No, we are booming. I said we would be. These are good economic principles that are being put forward right now. And look at what happened in Venezuela. I told you that was going to be good for the U.S. economy. It's good for the U.S. reputation. on right now in Iran. We're going to talk a little bit more about that on the Premier as well. But there's lots of stuff to be excited about, a lot of stuff, including the U.S. is back, baby, right? So we get an economy that's on fire. You're looking at 5.4% GDP growth out of the Atlanta Fed.
Starting point is 01:01:38 I mean, they don't mess around. They're not just futs them with numbers, okay? They actually, and look at that. When he came in, we were just coming off of Biden and we were down 0.5% and then Q2, 3.8, and then 4.3 and up to 5.4. I mean, that is a direction you want to head in, right? Ladies and gentlemen, absolutely. So much so that I loved it when I saw my old colleague Rick Santellie's a good guy over at CNBC. Nearly fell off his chair, right, when he saw the trade deficit number that came in last week. Buckle up.
Starting point is 01:02:07 This is unreal. The movement in this number. Mine is 29.4 billion. We cut it basically in half. We cut it in half. consider this in March it was 136 billion right now it's a whisker under
Starting point is 01:02:23 30 billion we haven't been that small in a long time I don't have enough records here to go back that far but you're going back a ways and here's the news on why it moved lower it moved lower why because you
Starting point is 01:02:41 had the tariffs in place so this economy is on fire I'm looking at your comments again in real time and one of is saying, hey, free Cuba. Absolutely. I mean, Cuba, I mean, hey, Venezuela went so well, right? Why not, why not take on Cuba next weekend? Here's what's going to happen in Cuba, right? Because they were reliant on the money that they would get from that Venezuelan oil, and then they would sell it, even though they shouldn't and they couldn't, and it was sanctioned. And this is partly why you get the U.S. military, the Navy intervening with all of those ships and they're trying to pretend
Starting point is 01:03:12 their Russian ships and they're changing their flags in real time. I've talked about this a lot, including when I was over in Ireland because they were doing the same thing as they were trying to get some of those ships over, you know, in natural gas out of places like Russia and over to China, and they were going through the Black Sea. So this is a common thing that they try and do when we have sanctions. They try and avert the sanctions by changing the flags and pretending in some cases, I don't know if they actually were protected by the Russians, but they put up a Russian flag, Venezuelan ship last week, and our U.S. Navy boarded it and took it over. So there you have it. And this is what's going down. As for what happens with Cuba, the president has made it very
Starting point is 01:03:56 clear that, you know what, Cuba's going to be debilitated in all of this, debilitated because you can't actually have Cuba surviving when they don't have the oil. Let me get for you what he put out on true social today. He said Cuba lived for many years, for many, years on large amounts of oil and money from Venezuela. In return, Cuba provided security services. That's absolutely true. The security services got a rude awakening from none other than the US of A. Was that last weekend? Yeah, that was like seven days ago. My gosh, this news cycle is fast. Is it not? Cuba lived for many years on large amounts of oil and money from Venezuela and returned. Cuba provided security services for the last two Venezuelan dictators, but not anymore.
Starting point is 01:04:40 most of those Cubans are dead from last week's USA attack, and Venezuela doesn't need protection anymore from the thugs and extortionists who held them hostage for so many years. Venezuela now has the United States of America the most powerful military in the world, by far, to protect them. And protect them, we will. There will be no more oil or money going to Cuba, zero, zilch, nada, and Espanol.
Starting point is 01:05:02 I strongly suggest they make a deal before it is too late. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President D.J.T. Listen, this is a big deal. He's telling Cuba, make a deal, make a deal. He's telling Cuba you are going to fall and you're going to fall fast because you don't have the money coming in from Venezuela anymore. I mean, see what you can collect off of Russia and China and Iran maybe, but you don't have the big oil coming from Venezuela. He pressured oil executives here in the U.S. to start investing. A lot of oil executives are understandably a little nervous about it because, hey, you know, they lost their shirt. before when Java's kicked them all out. So they want to make sure that we really are there to stay. But he's saying, hey, do it for America, do it for the country. We want that oil. We got 500 billion barrels estimated, 300 billion, I believe, have been proven. 500 billion are estimated to be there. That's a lot of oil. Okay, that could like power us for the next 50 years. And it's not easy to get out of the ground. I get it. It's tricky. You need to have the right technology. It's going to
Starting point is 01:06:05 require a lot of investment. But wouldn't you rather we be doing that than the Chinese? Thank you very much. Hey, it is a good day in America all around.
