Starting point is 00:00:02 I mean, I could have sworn I heard Joe Scarborough talking about how you were like a Nazi if you voted for Donald Trump. Remember that? I mean, that was just a couple of weeks ago, ladies and gentlemen. And now we're hearing a very different story over there on the likes of MSNBC. Please. I mean, can you get any more funny? Joe and I went to Marilago to meet personally with President-elect Trump. It was the first time we have seen him in. seven years. We're going to talk all about that because that's quite a move if you ask me.
Starting point is 00:00:38 In the meantime, in the meantime, Donald Trump is expanding the base and expanding the base and expanding the base. Here he is. Last night, it's a USC. My goodness, my goodness. And you know, you know, all must be right with the world when we now suddenly have a biological woman winning Miss Universe. I mean, what can possibly go wrong?
Starting point is 00:01:09 wrong, right? All a few things along the way, and we can get into it. We get those cabinet appointments, of course, to discuss, and we get some international stuff to discuss. But first, we're going to begin on this crazy stuff over at MSNBC. I should, by the way, remind you guys to subscribe, share, like, all that good stuff. Also, we have the store open. It's trish reagan. Dot shop. I've noticed a lot of you guys. Thank you for your support, have been going over there getting some of our paraphernalia or merch, as the kids call it, there at Trish Regan.com. Regan. Shop. You can get your live-free or die hat, mug, t-shirts, sweatshirts, all that good stuff. Christmas is coming up. So morning Joe is that really painful, three-hour-long show from six to nine in the morning over on MSNBC. And they're really excited because they just did something, something big. Joe and I went to Marilago to meet personally with President-elect Trump. It was the first time we have seen him in years. Gosh, that had to have been hard for her, huh? Had to have been really, really hard for Mika Brzeinski. You know, we have listened to these guys say day after day after day after day, and I don't even need to go back and play it for you. I've played it for you plenty of times
Starting point is 00:02:23 before. We've heard how heinous, how awful Donald Trump is, how heinous and awful anybody is that would possibly ever vote for Donald Trump. And now all of a sudden, what, they're showing up on his doorstep? And Mar-a-Lago, what is that about? What do you think it's about? I think it's about one thing only. It's about ratings, which have been tanking ever since Donald Trump went down 51% there at MSNBC. And I think it's about this, which is that the network itself is now in such bad shape that they're looking to spin it off along with a few other cable properties. Look, that business is done. We've been through that. It's why I'm glad you're over here. I'm glad you're subscribing, sharing, liking, and helping to contribute to this show in your way.
Starting point is 00:03:04 We've got a live chat so I can see what you're saying. Look, that business is. done. This has replaced it and then some. And so this is the reality of where we are. And so they know that. So they're challenged and they're trying to save their hides. In addition, you get Donald Trump out there soon every Tom Dick and Harry as far as networks go. And he's now got some some power behind him because it looks as though he's moving forward with his plan to put Brendan Carr in as head of the FCC, which probably means some of these networks are going to have a hard time in there. that they're granted certain government rights to be over the airwaves. And if you're not honest, if you're not, in fact, down the middle and you're just hammering one thing home all the time
Starting point is 00:03:50 and we know they are, just look at the media research center, which has done the work to find that overwhelmingly the coverage has been negative for Donald Trump, whereas it was extremely positive for Kamala Harris. That's the reality of where we are now. And so ladies and gentlemen, they're getting sued, they're about to get sold, the ratings are taking. So what does Scarborough do? He says, okay, let me put on my thinking hat here. I mean, he's like turning into Tucker 2.0. I've pledged you this on.
Starting point is 00:04:18 I'm like, who is this guy? I mean, he's wearing a suit and dying out of work. And he's suddenly talking about how he's a southern white male conservative. I'm like, whoa! Anyway, he went down there and he had a little discussion. The two of them did. with Donald Trump, and they were so proud of it. They had to come back on set today to talk to everybody about it.
Starting point is 00:04:41 I wonder what some of his colleagues might have to say, you know, the people like Joy Reid that absolutely positively despise Donald Trump with everything they got. They probably don't like this. But I will tell you this, you know, Joe's a realist. He was a politician after all. I think he sees the handwriting on the wall, and he figures this is what I got to do and he's doing it.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from so many people. from political leaders to regular citizens deeply dismayed by several of President-elect Trump's cabinet selections, and they are scared. Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast, and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the President-elect himself. On Friday, we were given the opportunity to do just that.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Joe and I went to Marilago to meet personally with President-elect Trump, It was the first time we have seen him in seven years. Now, we talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, Masty. Is it me or does she always look like she's smelling something really bad? Portation, threats of political retribution against political opponents and media outlets. We talked about that a good bit. And it's going to come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show,
Starting point is 00:06:01 has watched it over the past year or over the past decade that we didn't see eye to eye on a lot of issues and we told him so. What we did agree on was to restart communications. My father often spoke with world leaders with whom he and the United States. Restart communications as though you're like, I don't know, North Korea. Profoundly disagreed. That's a task shared by reporters and commentators alike. We had not spoken to President Trump since March of 2020.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Other than a personal call, Joe made to Trump on the morning after the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania. In this meeting, President Trump was tearful. He was upbeat. He seemed interested in finding common ground with Democrats on some of the most divisive issues. And for those asking why we would go speak to the president-elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back, why wouldn't we? we. Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump's actions and words in the coarsening of public debate. But for nearly 80 million Americans, election denialism, public trials, and January 6th were not as important as the issues that moved them to send Donald Trump back to the White House with their vote. Joe and I realize she's eating a little humble pie here,
Starting point is 00:07:41 don't you think? I mean, she's like, ah, we were wrong. You guys were right. You won. So now we have to move on. It's time to do something different. And that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him. Right, because they need some ratings. Okay, they were, you saw the numbers, right, down 51% since the election. They're like, okay, give me more, give me more, give me more. If you can't beat them, join them. I mean, it's really, it's kind of gross in that literally the next morning. The next morning, right after the whole thing went down, Joe was suddenly sounding really
Starting point is 00:08:20 like he kind of liked Trump and he got it and he was suddenly like this new man and it's like, wait a second. I mean, I did this story for you guys the other day. I'm like, who is he really? Well, I don't think he knows himself. He's just collecting a paycheck and he's doing some of the boss's orders. Look, let's face it, Brian Roberts, who runs Comcasts, he can't be too happy about this. He's got a new guy coming in at FCC, Brendan Carr, and Brennan Carr is not exactly going to make his life so easy given the likes of Joy Reed, etc.
Starting point is 00:08:48 On the air, Joy might actually get her hind sent out the door. I'm not kidding, because did you see what Brandon sent out? Let me see if I can find this for you guys. Brandon Carr tweeted this. Check it out. He's done with the DEI. This is the guy he's going to come in. He's like the only conservative on the FCC panel right now.
Starting point is 00:09:09 And he's like, I'm disgusted with this. This was the second most important thing to the FCC last year. So that meant, well, you have to have a certain number of people that look like this and have this kind of gender preferences and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, all over your airwaves. Or somehow you're not in sync with what the FCC. wants and therefore, you know, you're at risk for losing your license. So he's sick of it. He's like, yeah, no, I don't really care about that. So now Brian Roberts, head of Comcast, which owns NBC,
Starting point is 00:09:39 Universal, which owns MSNBC, doesn't have to worry about, oh, do I have every Tom, Dick, Harry, Sue, Susie, Jane in a variety of different colors with purple hair, et cetera, on my air, then maybe actually I have a little bit more room. So it's a business. After all, it is a business, and I think no one knows that better than Joe Scarborough. Hence, what he was out there saying the very day after the election. I mean, Mika, his wife could barely even look at him on set. She's glaring at him or just physically turned away the entire time when he was talking about, well, we lost this election because, you see, even Democrats are concerned
Starting point is 00:10:19 because their kids can't speak up in school because, you know, you may just get canceled. That's exactly what happened. And then some, but where were you, Joe, like two weeks ago, or even two months ago? No, no, no, no. These are people that are just out there for themselves. And when it was expedient for them to go after Donald Trump, they did. And now it looks like it's not so expedient to go after Donald Trump. And so they're changing their tune drastically. You know what? We'll take it. We'll take it. Fine, fine. You know what? You guys want better ratings. You want to get them on the show. They also mentioned something about how, oh, they just kind of need to find common ground. in different areas and it'll make them more interesting. Here they are with David Ignatius, who runs the Washington Post. He too was trying to suck up. I mean, the whole kitten caboodle here, Watson.
Starting point is 00:11:08 You know, David, also, I remember during the first term at one point. You may not even remember this phone call is walking through the airport. And you politely said, every day, Joe, every day it's the same thing on your show. when you can find common ground, find common ground, talk about it. And I've noticed you do that. I mean, I will tell you when so many people were in shock and Mika and I were surprised too after the election result, your first column was talking about how Donald Trump had the possibility to move us closer to peace in the Middle East.
Starting point is 00:11:47 I think that was a very important column to write at the time. Again, I thought I was a little surprised when I read it right after the election. But then you follow that up with some really tough columns about the real dangers with his DOD pick and also with Tulsi Gabbard. Is that the type of balancing you're talking about? It is, Joe. I think we in the news business in commentary need to call them as we see him. During Donald Trump's first term, when he did something that I thought made sense, the Abraham Accords between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are a perfect example.
Starting point is 00:12:23 I said without hesitation that I thought this was good for the country, good for the region. I felt the same way about negotiating with North Korea and try to reduce the risk of nuclear war. When he did things, I thought, hurt the country. I tried to be as emphatic, again, as I could be. But we're in the business of covering the world trying to see it whole. And if people think that we are partisans on one side or another, I think in the end, their confidence in our ability to tell the truth, to do our job declines.
Starting point is 00:12:55 You see some of that and some of the poll numbers about how people feel about the world. Yeah, it does. Like, no one actually trusts any of you guys at all. All right? Like, that's not like all of a sudden. Nobody's trusted you for the last however many years. The mainstream media bias has been so massive. And then, like, what was scary to me anyway, it's partly why I started 76 research was it was permeating over into Wall Street.
Starting point is 00:13:19 So now it's like, okay, we don't care if you're making money anymore. We just care that you get, you know, people with purple hair and identify as a cat on your board. Somehow that's more important than actually profits. Profits matter. Profitability matters. Growth matters. It's one of the reasons why I'm so excited for this market right now. Rob and I, my co-founder at 76 Research, just came out with investinmaga.com.
Starting point is 00:13:42 It's a free guide on how to invest in this growing economy, this booming economy. There's going to be a lot of opportunity. Believe me. And I want to make sure that everybody, at least if you're watching this, show that you're somehow in on it. 76 research.com that is the financial research website I created this guide is free invest in MAGA you can also go over to 76 research and get our model portfolios you can get the founders club which gives you all the model portfolios we have 10 to 15 stocks in each one of those but there's going to be a lot of opportunity you know what like I just
Starting point is 00:14:13 I call it like it is and and I tend to see through some of this insanity which was exactly what the mainstream media had for the last four years, total, utter insanity. Meanwhile, we've got a few things going on internationally. They're obviously a concern. You've seen, of course, that the president has authorized the use of long-range weapons into Russia for the first time, and Sweden's obviously really concerned. They're actually sending out pamphlets on how to prepare for this potential problem. It's awful. It's scary. You know, when these sorts of things, happen. It's one of the reasons why I say, look, I'm glad I have a little bit of gold in my portfolio. And I think you need, you know, to always be sort of preparing for the off
Starting point is 00:15:02 chance of something not so good happening. And so that's when you need it, right? That's when you want it. And if you're worried about things right now, I do encourage you, even if you're not worried about things. Like I just, I consider gold part of a well-diversified portfolio. I encourage you to call my friends over at American Heart for Gold. You can text them, and get up to $15,000 with qualifying offers by texting them my name in free silver. So text Trish to 655332. Trish to 65532 or go to Trishlovesgold.com. You can also call them at 1844-495-1115.
Starting point is 00:15:41 But I'll tell you, the media is having to kind of come to terms with the massive change and the slap in the face that they all got, right? big, big slap in the face on top of that, it's together with these potential lawsuits that they're getting a little bit nervous. I mean, defamation, right? A lot of people say, oh, you can't sue for defamation because you're a public figure and public figures. You know it's a different standard. Sure, it's a different standard, but if you're just outright constantly defaming somebody, even if they're a public person, they have the right to go back and say, hey, enough is enough. And that's what Donald Trump is trying to do. He announced lawsuits. We learned of these on Friday. He's talking about the Daily
Starting point is 00:16:20 Beast, Penguin Publishing, New York Times, among others, CBS, of course, being one that you knew of, for defamation, ABC News, George Stephanopoulos he's going after, for defamation, and also in the case of CBS for just wrongful reporting, the wrongful editing, that'll be harder for him, full disclosure, that's going to be harder for him to actually. I think the defamation stuff, though, could be quite real. So we'll see, but look, everyone's getting the message. MSNBC is getting the message, those over on the viewer getting the message will be it is except for some. Look,
Starting point is 00:16:57 the bottom line is that America needs a free press that is willing to speak truth, to power right now, more than ever. I think that we have to be very clear-eyed
Starting point is 00:17:16 when we think about the president-elect and cover the president-elect. And I don't think you need to sit down for 90 minutes at Marilago and kiss his ring to be able to speak truth and to be able to cover a story. Woo! So she's really dissing Mika and Joe for that one. Oh, you kissed the ring. So maybe they're not journalists in the true sense. Maybe they're saying that their opinion general journalists. Well, they're definitely not journalists and neither are you, honey.
Starting point is 00:17:47 But we have to remember that Trump is the guy who ushered in the era of fake news. He is the guy who ushered in alternative facts. He is the guy who attacked. It's sort of mind-blowing. Alternative facts. I mean, isn't an alternative fact? The New York Times tries to tell you that wages are actually going up. Oh, they're going up, the New York Times reports,
Starting point is 00:18:13 except they don't actually look at real wages, which are adjusted for inflation, which actually, in truth, tells you one thing and one thing only. Wages were going down under Joe Biden. No, no, no, no, but that's alternative. facts. Give me a break. All right, let's listen to the last one. Three black female journalists. He's the guy that revoked Jim Ocasters' press credentials for asking him a question. And so I think that this president elect, I hate to say it, would like nothing more than to have only Fox News cover him, would like
Starting point is 00:18:46 nothing more than a state-sponsored media. And I don't think he can be trusted in the way that other presidents can be trusted. This is an aberration. But the reality is he doesn't just have Fox News. He didn't do a lot of mainstream media this election, but he went on Joe Rogan and reached 50 million people. So she's unbelievable. I mean, she really, she's a very sore loser.
Starting point is 00:19:16 She's having a hard time. Everybody else, first of all, whoopee's not saying boo. Okay, whoopee's like afraid to talk because she needs the gig, apparently. And she's on thin ice. I'm sure. Her bosses are like freaking out. I'm not even sure. This has been reported.
Starting point is 00:19:29 It is panic mode at the view right now. It's so bad that they're actually looking for a conservative Magatav Post to go on there and spar with them because it's that bad. Quote, from the New York Post ABC News Brasser in panic mode as they hunt for conservative voices to balance the rabid anti-Trump rhetoric spewed by the hosts on the view. The Disney-owned network, which came under fire after these ABC News moderators grilled Donald Trump during the presidential debate. Remember that one?
Starting point is 00:19:56 three on one? Well, it's been holding high-level meetings ever since last week, route by the former president sources close to the situation told the post. And so the ABC News Group president, along with the ABC News president, they're just in all these talks. They've got to figure out some way to try and get the other side out there because, you know, they didn't for how long. And they're actually going to be in a lot of trouble, not just with their viewers, their viewers which have written them off, but with this guy over at the F. I'm talking about Brandon Carr, Brandon Carr, who has no appetite for any of this. Listen, I've told you before and I'm going to tell you again, there is no way that Disney wants
Starting point is 00:20:39 this company, ABC, just no way. It's like a hot potato. You want to get rid of it. The problem is nobody's actually willing to buy the thing. Why would you want it? It is way too expensive. You get to deal with unions and all this other stuff. I mean, think about the change in the podcast arena, in the streaming arena, in podcast.
Starting point is 00:20:58 video, what I'm doing here, live with you right now. It doesn't cost a lot. You know what that view costs a whole lot? You got a live studio audience. You get cameras coming from here, there, and everywhere. You get a big lighting crew. You get somebody that you get a page just to hold up signs to say clap or laugh or whatever that is.
Starting point is 00:21:17 So the FCC director is going to come in and say, you know what, I don't care about the values that you all cared about before because last time around, last time around, the second highest strategic goal for the FCC was diversity and inclusion. Amazing. Well, now the FCC doesn't care about diversity and inclusion anymore. Now the FCC just cares about fairness in reporting. And I'm not saying you've got to be pro-Trump. Believe me, I'm not saying that. But you've got to be fair. You can't be the New York Times reporting that wages are going up. You can't be morning Joe saying it's you that's the problem. Actually, the economy is just fine. I mean, you want to talk gas lighting. People don't feel like the economy's fine. Why?
Starting point is 00:22:01 Because there's a tremendous amount of inflation and their money does not go as far. So you've got to complete the whole story. And that's what the FCC is going to demand, as they should. Or you know what? No, you really shouldn't have a public broadcasting license. So this is going to get heated and heated more and more heated. Sunny is the only one out there torching Trump on the view right now. She seems to be a little bit, I don't know, sort of career suicidal-esque. in doing so because even Whoopi Goldberg knows better. We heard from the other host on the view, Ana Navarra even,
Starting point is 00:22:33 who somehow thinks that we ought to just move forward and go to Thanksgiving with our family members and not allow this to consume us, the way they believe that it consumes you or should consume you over on MSNBC with joy who's not so joyful these days. Listen, a lot is about to change. And if you're smart, as a business person,
Starting point is 00:22:56 and you're going to realize that. You absolutely will. I mean, MSNBC realizes it. They're trying to sell the thing. Disney realizes it. It's trying to sell its networks. And Joe Scarborough realizes it, right? So he's trying to at least have a cleaned-up brand in the process, if you possibly can.
Starting point is 00:23:15 But they're panicked. They're worried. They don't know what to do. They're going to get some poor sap to go on there and try and be the conservative and say, hey, well, we did what we had to do. We put a conservative on. Remember Megan McCain? She had to go on there and play that role. She wasn't too happy about it. She'd never go back. I mean, no one with any self-respect would go on to that show. But it's not just the view they're worried about right now
Starting point is 00:23:42 at Disney. It's also this little number who's starring in the remake of, because you know, they have no new movies ever at Disney. It's just a remake, remake, remake, remake, starring in Snow White, Rachel Zedler. So we learned over the weekend that actually those comments that she made, those really grotesque comments saying that basically Trump supporters should never know peace and there were a few too many F-bombs along the way. Well, that actually almost got her fire. So reports are coming out now that Disney executives were actually very, very concerned,
Starting point is 00:24:18 which is why, what did she do? Oh, she came out. And she apologized on Friday because, you know, This wasn't playing in Peoria so well. Take a look. Did you see that little video? That was something. That was a video of Rachel Zegler from just a couple of weeks ago at her play there in New York City.
Starting point is 00:24:36 And there she is signing autographs complete with the mask. Because, you know, you got to wear a mask. This is like two weeks ago. A mask? Really? To sign autographs? I mean, the people still wearing masks. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:24:48 I'm over it. And this little girl, this little Rachel Zegler, the little ingenue, She got Gina Crono allegedly fired from Disney because she made such a stink about Gina not putting up her pronouns on Twitter way back when I covered this story. Let's take a walk down memory lane. What was this? About a year and a half ago or so, take a peek.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Hashtag trans rights and I wouldn't put my pronouns in. They kept on it pressuring and finally I just said, I'm not doing this. So she wouldn't put her pronouns on her, Twitter account and she got fired? Listen, Elon Musk has already said anybody that wants to come forward with these kinds of issues that have been fired, if you've been fired unfairly, unjustly because you wouldn't subscribe to this or not, you know, ideal ideology that they want you to have, then he's your guy. He's your guy. And so now,
Starting point is 00:25:57 Gina has announced that she is filing suit against the Disney Corporation. And she's got Elon's backing. So I think this is going to be kind of entertaining to watch. Yeah. And it's still pretty entertaining to watch, right? Because she wouldn't put her pronouns. Disney got rid of her. And then Elon's take out a whole other presents.
Starting point is 00:26:21 We're going to get to that in a second. But Elon had her back. Gina Krono didn't put her pro. She did some bibbibbibbobby boop or something like that. It was actually pretty funny. And Rachel Zegler went nuts. Gina's career was over. She was excommunicated.
Starting point is 00:26:36 She was canceled. And Elon said, well, wait a second. Like, you can't be fired for your political belief. She actually said at the time, she didn't even, you heard her. She didn't really even understand what it was. What's fascinating is we learned just the other day that AOC, Alexander Ocasio-Cortez, has taken down her pronouns. from Twitter. Imagine that. Because, well, it's kind of like Joe and Mika,
Starting point is 00:27:03 going hat in hand to Marlago, begging for forgiveness. It's like they see the handwriting on the wall, you know what they know. They know that they lost a lot of people with that insanity. I mean, Hispanics alone, right? Latinex, give me a break. What are we going to remake the entire language? You know that there's like masculine and feminine nouns in Spanish and Italian and French and Latin. I mean, these people are so far up, but they're finally coming to their senses because they were forced to.
Starting point is 00:27:33 They were forced to. As for Rachel, she was forced to. I don't believe any of it. I don't believe it. I don't believe she's sorry. I believe she is who she is. And she's a very arrogant little girl who's arrogant enough to just,
Starting point is 00:27:48 and young enough, I guess, to not even. value normal things like love and family, which is why she hates Snow White as a character to begin with. Don't ask me why they got an actress who doesn't like the storyline of Snow White and doesn't believe in love, et cetera, to actually play Snow White. But that's their problem. Disney's continually having problems. Disney shares recovering a little bit, but you know what, it's hard to go wrong these days. I'll tell you, you've got to be careful, though, careful where you put your money. I mean, Disney was, what, $200? Now it's down around $100 and change.
Starting point is 00:28:21 Go to invest in maga.com. We've got a free guide for you. Rob and I worked really, really hard on this. Also, if you go to 76 research, sign up, there's a lot of content. A lot of content that's just for free. We have a whole thing on taxes and your end, et cetera. Just how you should be thinking about your investments in this environment because a lot is happening and a lot is changing.
Starting point is 00:28:40 But these people are so arrogant. I mean, that's what's so crazy, but they're so damn arrogant. And Donald Trump was able to use this to his advantage. I mean, think of the popularity. Think of the groundswell and popularity. Here's John Jones at the USC alone last night, handing the belt. You see that guy? Handing the belt to Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:29:01 So he won, he won big, he thanks Donald Trump for being there. It was pretty darn cool, you know? This is a whole new audience. I also want to say a big, big thank you to President Donald Trump for being here tonight. Hey, what do you got to think about my version of the Donald Trump? Check it out. It's a whole new crowd, right? And you think about Joe Rogan being there.
Starting point is 00:29:42 You saw him there in the ring with John Jones. You think about Elon Musk being there. Of course, if we look at this picture, we see a lot of people. It looks like Mike Johnson was there too. And you see the Trump boys, a lot of people. But Elon's like everywhere. Kid Rock was there too. So it was a big deal of an.
Starting point is 00:29:58 You think about all these people that they're pulling in. Like, this is not a crowd that anybody else would have thought to go after. But of course Donald Trump did. He likes it. He likes the sport. He likes all, I guess, jelly roll. was there too. He's like a big country music artist and has had quite a past and sort of, you know, come to Jesus if you would. And also as a big Trump supporter. So he was there. Just a really
Starting point is 00:30:21 eclectic group. And so that's one of the things that Trump has done, in my estimation, so beautifully, he's actually brought in all these people that maybe would have been on the fringe. Like maybe would not have voted before. Maybe felt frustrated with both parties. And now they're part of the Republican club. this is make America great again, right? You want more and more people coming into some kind of political being in existence. So he's been able to bring in all these folks that maybe normally, maybe wouldn't have voted, or maybe even, dare I say, would have voted for Democrat. Because the Democrats used to have a lock on working class America. They've totally
Starting point is 00:31:00 given that up, like willingly given it up. It's sort of amazing when they go back in history and they look at all this, how the parties have shifted. And so now you've got to sort of a new breed of America First, which highlights the strength of capitalism and this great meritocracy that we have simultaneously with having some respect for working class Americans. How do you help them get ahead? You've got to have a strong middle class, right, if you're going to have a strong America. So this is what he's done so well. And I think he's going to continue to do.
Starting point is 00:31:35 And they don't know how to fight back against that. They really don't. I mean, the guy gets accused of having garbage supporters, supporters that are garbage, and what does he do? He goes out and drives a garbage truck. He goes to McDonald's and works the drive-through. He has an ability to really relate to people in ways that the left just doesn't get and can't do because I think there's just so much arrogance, so much arrogance.
Starting point is 00:32:03 And that's his to capitalize on. Did you see, I mentioned that Elon was there and Kid Rock was there and you had the boys there, the Trump boys there. And again, Elon's there again. And here's another picture. What do you think? So they took the Trump plane over there. And on the plane is none of the RFK Jr.
Starting point is 00:32:28 You get Trump, Elon. Mike Johnson's hanging out in the back, which is interesting, right, because of what's going on with these appointments and this tension between Thune and Trump and Mike Johnson, et cetera, I have a feeling he's going to get the appointments he wants and he's going to come up with perhaps some creative ways to do it. But anyway, Mike Johnson there, and they're holding up McDonald's and they were joking about how this was just so torturous for RFK, right? Because RFK is Mr. Health.
Starting point is 00:32:56 He's HSS now. Everybody's flipping out because what does it mean for the food industry? What does it mean for the pharmaceutical industry? Well, here he is. maybe eating McDonald's for one of the first times in, I don't know, decades, right? Because he doesn't like that stuff. I happen to love McDonald's, by the way. I love it.
Starting point is 00:33:13 I probably shouldn't love it that much. I do love it more when I'm overseas. I had it in Ireland this summer, and it was even tastier. And there's a reason for that we're going to get to. But the New York Times decided they would do a little hip piece on RFK Jr. Over the weekend. This was titled Kennedy's vow to take on big food could alienate his GOP allies, processed foods are in the crosshairs of RFK Jr, but battling major companies could collide
Starting point is 00:33:39 with President-elect Donald J. Trump's corporate-friendly goals. Well, they're not wrong, but, you know, I'm reading the article, and I literally almost spit out my coffee. I'm like, you couldn't be kidding me, you guys. It's like what I was telling you earlier. You know, how about the New York Times reports that there's really, there's been great inflation in wage growth, so nobody should be complaining, wages are going up, and I'm like, here. But not the real wages. When you look at wages, adjusted for inflation, real wages are going down. So here's another New York Times gem, a little beauty. Here I'm reading the article and I'm like, are you kidding me? So they're going out to fruit loops, right? He has singled out fruit loops as an example of a product with too many
Starting point is 00:34:17 artificial ingredients questioning why the Canadian version has fewer sort of bad ingredients than the U.S. version. And it turns out they're trying to say, but he's wrong. He's wrong. He's wrong because they're actually basically the same. The New York Times writes, and I quote, the ingredients list is roughly the same, although Canada has natural colorings made from blueberries and carrots. While the U.S. produces products contains red dye 40, yellow 5, and blue one, as well as I can't even say this. It's called B.HT. It's a lab-made chemical that's used, quote, for freshness according to the ingredient label. So once again, the killer New York Times on the case trying to say,
Starting point is 00:35:05 really, what's the big deal? Except for there are these things like red, die 40, yellow, five, blue one, and B.H.T. And none of that is very good for you. As this food expert recently explained, I found this little clip and thought I'd show you. This is McDonald's French fries. I would like to argue that probably nobody in this room has not had it. at McDonald's French fries, by the way. Nobody raised their hand during the staff meeting earlier today.
Starting point is 00:35:32 In the U.S., there's 11 ingredients. In the U.K., there's three, and salt is optional. An ingredient called Domethaloxane is an ingredient preserved with formaldehyde, a neurotoxin in the U.S. version. This is used as a foaming agent, so they don't have to replace the oil that often, making McDonald's more money here in the United States. but they don't do that across the pond.
Starting point is 00:36:00 It seems like something that we could fix, right? We could fix that. We probably should fix that. And I knew those French fries tasted better when I was in Ireland. I knew there was a reason. Food often tastes better over there. Maybe it's because of that, right? Maybe we need to get some of these.
Starting point is 00:36:17 But how is this so bad? Why is that so scary? You're just going to have somebody who's going to come along and say, hey, you know what? We ought to get some of these bad chemicals out of our food. And that's somehow threatening to the entire system? You know, it's crazy, too. The fact that pharmaceutical stocks sold off the way they did on Friday,
Starting point is 00:36:35 I'm like, guys, did you not see this one coming? I mean, he got elected over a week ago, right? How did you just suddenly wake up to this reality? I'll tell you, you know what, you've got to take care of your health. I would not trust the government to take care of your health or your wealth, shall we say, right? Your money as well as your health and health. terms of your overall being. I, for one, you know, I'm guilty of this. I don't get enough sun living in the Northeast, so I need to improve my vitamin D levels. And the way I do that, actually,

Look at this discount. It is the best I've seen, 50% off plus free show. shipping from balance of nature.com with code word trish. Reminder to subscribe. You know, I'll tell you, there's a lot of craziness going on right now. For starters, just on the appointment front. I think everybody was a little bit shocked. First with Pete Hegseth, one of my
Starting point is 00:38:08 former colleagues from Fox. And that was seen as, okay, Department of Defense, what is Pete? Now, look, he's a really, really smart guy. I imagine he's going to surround himself with smart people. I think he's probably an excellent decision maker. He worked on Wall Street, before going back into the military. He went to Princeton and Harvard back in the days when those schools actually meant something. And yes, he worked in the media. He did run a veterans organization beforehand.
Starting point is 00:38:32 He does not fit the stereotypical profile, but do you really want the stereotypical profile? I mean, I don't think the stereotype has really done so well by us. I, for one, think we should be willing to take a couple of chances. One of the things, though, that Donald Trump is seemingly not taking such a big chance on is actually Treasury Secretary. So I reported for you last week that I thought Scott Bessent was going to get it. He is a hedge fund investor, considered very smart, pretty critical of the Fed, and well-respected in investing circles.
Starting point is 00:39:03 That seems to be shifting. We got word late last week that Howard Lutnik, who is the CEO of Canter Fritzgerald, wanted to be considered for the gig. And Howard was seen as sort of the guy, right, for Bitcoin. And Bitcoin has been on a tear. I mean, I was looking at it either late last night or the store. morning and it was upwards of 90,000. Can you imagine? I'm going to check again. We had Michael Saylor on the program here. We're still looking, I think, at upwards of $90,000 for Bitcoin at this moment. I remember back when it was 10. I was telling people about it 12 years ago when it was
Starting point is 00:39:36 $10. So trust me on these things. Anyway, well, you know, this is wild and you can expect a more of a wild ride and maybe if they don't get Howard in there as Treasury Secretary, it's possible it could come down. I think that Bitcoin long term is a very, very interesting thing and one that I actually, we haven't written on that or put it into any of our portfolios over at 76 research, but I would say that it's part of the Invest in MAGA guide that you've got to be thinking about this. We told you about it when it was $65,000 and said, hey, you might want to think about a little exposure to this if nothing else like some kind of suckers insurance, right, just put a teeny teeny little bit, nothing that you can't lose, but put some money in because it might really see some upside.
Starting point is 00:40:19 and now as we look at it $90,865, yeah, it's seeing some upside. I mean, this is $65,000 just a couple of weeks ago, not to say that it couldn't go back to that, in which case you really need to understand the volatility with this instrument. And there are tax implications, et cetera, that some of the things of which we get into in our most recent issue of 76 report. But I bring this up because I think there's a lot of things in play.
Starting point is 00:40:45 And Donald Trump is not just doing what everybody's telling them to do. Elon Musk even getting in on the act and be vague, and there's this real pressure, right, to push forward Howard Lutnik as the next Treasury Secretary. But for whatever reason, Donald Trump seems to be holding off. We're now getting word that it could be somebody like Kevin Warsh, who has been sort of a Fed governor for a long time and kind of is very sophisticated, but checks a lot of boxes. And I think this is one appointment that Trump really takes seriously, as he should. is super important, super important. So we're going to continue to watch that story. We're also
Starting point is 00:41:23 going to continue to watch the challenges overseas. You know, Biden over the weekend said that he was okay with Russia, forgive me, Ukraine, firing long-range missiles into Russia. So that has a few people just a little bit concerned right about now. A lot of people saying, gosh, you know, Donald Trump couldn't have come in soon enough. We heard from Blinken the other day. Remember Blinken saying that he's going to give every single little last dollar to Ukraine between now and when Donald Trump comes in. And that, you know, look, I mean, they're the administration in charge.
Starting point is 00:42:05 Unfortunately, Blinken tends to be wrong a lot. He has been wrong sort of historically on a lot of stuff. And so I think it makes people just a little bit nervous. Here's a short that I did. to show you on the program. If you're not following my shorts feed, please make sure you did. But here's Blinken talking about this. Every last dollar is going to be going to you. Less than 24 hours after Americans learned inflation went up yet again, more than expected I'll add. Blinkin's out saying this. We've obligated just recently and pushed out the door.
Starting point is 00:42:35 Another $8 billion in security assistance for Ukraine. That was in September. Another almost half a billion dollars just a few weeks ago. And President Biden is committed to making sure that every dollar we have at our disposal will be pushed out the door between now and January 20th. You don't think, maybe just a little, this might be why you guys actually lost the election? Americans are hurting, and all you can talk about is how many billions of dollars you're going to keep on sending to Ukraine, where we're not making any progress. I'm just saying, you might want to think this through before you telegraph it.
Starting point is 00:43:07 You know, and that was before we got word that they were going to send the long-range missiles. And so now at this moment, unfortunately, Sweden is really concerned. They're telling kids in schools to prepare for the possibility of war. I mean, I don't like any of this, and I'm sure you don't as well. And I regret that we have not been able to find a peaceful solution, a diplomatic solution, to this crisis with Russia. And my hope is that now that Donald Trump is there, that we can actually start to see something better come of the,
Starting point is 00:43:43 this challenge. It's a serious and very, very concerning challenge. But here, take heart, guys, take heart because you know that things must be okay with the world, right? You know it must be okay. If finally, a woman, a biological woman is the top in all, they were all biological women and the top contenders and a biological woman won Miss Universe. Thank you very much. So New York Times, the Daily Mail has this headline, a return to normalcy. Miss Universe fans stunned after Biological Woman wins beauty pageant. And you're saying to yourself, wait a second, what's that?
Starting point is 00:44:21 Yeah, so this is Miss Denmark. She was absolutely three. You know what else is surprising? She's like blonde and blue-eyed, and probably haven't seen too many of those winning Miss Universe as of late. So she's this blonde-blue-eyed woman who just won this beauty pageant. And it's kind of funny, and I think people are having a little bit of fun with it, saying, well, what do you know? A woman's actually winning the beauty pageant. Maybe now
Starting point is 00:44:44 we can have women that are actually winning in women's sports. Am I going to get in trouble for saying that? I don't think so. I think it's a new day and age. I really think, you know, times are a changing. A reminder, our great sponsor, American Heart for Gold, go over to Trish lovesgold.com to learn more about how you can get up to $15,000 in free silver. Text Trish to $6553.3.2.com. call them at 1844-495-1115. Again, with everything going on, I think there's a lot to be excited about, but I do believe it's worth very much worth considering all the challenges ahead as well. So when I consider the challenges, that's what, you know, I have gold for to help me sleep just a little bit better at night.
Starting point is 00:45:30 We also have the store up and running for the holiday season. You can go to Trish Regan.com and get your live for your dye mug or your hat or any of those things. to help show appreciation for the show, support for the show, and of course to help promote the show, which is really great right about now. I'm looking at how much we have succeeded, guys, and it's amazing because, I mean, in the last year and a half, what, we've grown from like 40,000, 30,000 to, dare I say, like, coming up, we're knocking up on 450, right? So we might just be at 500,000 before you know, it was just incredible. Oh, Leslie, good to see you. Welcome back, it's our friend Leslie who was here, by the way, when we were at like 30,000 or maybe even
Starting point is 00:46:13 10,000, right, Leslie? Back when the microphone was never working. So I rely on you guys more than you think. You know, you got to tell me these things. And some people will say to me, gee, I hope you don't mind, you know, there's something blah, blah, blah going on acoustically audio wise. And I always say, great, great. Let me know.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Yes, peace of my mind. How about that? 445,000 subs and we are growing and growing and growing. and I'm so glad he's at work. Ian Barber, another one of our regulars here on the program, and he's hitting the like button anyway. We get Don reminding you too. 500,000 by New Year's.
Starting point is 00:46:49 You think so, Don? You think we'll get there? 445 right now. I mean, 15,000. I'm hoping we can do it by Christmas. I'm hoping we can do it. You know, that's like my little Christmas present, right, guys? You can help me get there.
Starting point is 00:47:01 By the way, I'm super excited. I just, just figured out. We can also put the VIII. video on Spotify afterwards. So I'm going to, after this show, it's not going to be live. So if you want to watch it live, you have to do that right here. And I'm seeing all your comments live on YouTube. But, but, but, but, but try if you can.
Starting point is 00:47:22 I'm going to put the link up. I'm going to put it in my community post and just try and go over and follow, maybe give it a star or something because that'll help the algorithm. Don knows about those algorithms. Don's always like, hey, guys, make sure you like, because it helps. There we go. See, 3,649. That's actually a pretty good ratio, don't you think, Don?
Starting point is 00:47:41 We've got like basically half of the folks liking it. So thank you for that. And I can see more numbers on my end. So we even have more. We might have double that actually watching right now. So thank you for all that you guys do. But I wanted to let you know, I'm going to be putting the video up on Spotify. And so whatever you can do to kind of give it some love over there,
Starting point is 00:47:58 we're still going to continue to have the live show here every single day. I'll put that on my community post as soon as I finish up with this show so that you can get the link and find it. Again, it will be the video version. Because, you know, I'm video, right? Like when I first started this and I was just doing audio, I was like, well, this kind of feels, you know, look, I've been in TV all my life.
Starting point is 00:48:20 I like to show you guys things. I like you to see it with your own eyes. I like not to play sound bites to let you see the soundbite as well because there's something really unique and special about that. And I do think that everything's changing, really, really fast. David Lorenzo, good to see you, Billy, love you guys too. I will see you back here live tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:48:41 I like this time. We'll see if we can do it again right around 1 o'clock. See you then. In the meantime, don't forget to check out Spotify. See you tomorrow.
