I'm already sensing that Katrina's going to have better mic discipline than Tim, which is good.
It's just the first of many ways in which she would be a much better co-hosted for you.
Well, this is kind of an audition.
Because my day job is being a lawyer, I'm very good at following rules.
You give me guidelines and I will stick to them very, very strictly.
This is like an affidavit or something, isn't it?
Yeah, that's right.
There's a lot of rules about affidavits, Tim.
time for a quiz, but I'm not quizzing Tim and Tim's not quizzing me. The listeners are
quizzing Tim and I. We've got some kind of unmade podcast quiz. Tim and I know absolutely
nothing about that, but the person who does know a lot about it is our third presenter today,
our special guest. It's Colonel Katrina in the flesh in the room with Tim. Colonel Katrina,
what have you got in store for us? Hello, Brady. Oh, it's such a pleasure to be here. And I have
a bounty of questions and most of them have been submitted by stakeholders and civilians.
And can I just start by giving a shout out to everyone who sent through emails to the Colonel
Katrina Gmail account. I was very impressed by the caliber of questions and they made my job
very easy because most were fact-checked and there were sources for me to be able to go and
verify the questions. Wow. Citations. Indeed. That's excellent.
And can I just praise you, Colonel Katrina, for how quickly you'd change the password on that
Gmail account I created so that I couldn't hack into it and see the questions.
I've had no access to this account and nor has Tim.
Can I just say also there's been a quite, I think a blanket of security around this entire
operation. After church on Sunday, I used, you know, some of my pastoral authority to sidle up
alongside and put a little bit of pressure, maybe just hinting at the possibility of a cheat sheet
or something like that, and I was very quickly put back in my box, I can tell you, chastised.
We'll point out, just for those who don't know, Colonel Katrina is actually a member of Tim's
church congregation as well, hence Tim's possible abuse of authority, but it sounds like it was
unsuccessful.
Indeed, and I was musing.
One of the questions actually has an answer which Tim has preached a sermon on, so I'm
going to be very interested to see if he remembers the sermon and the fact, but we'll wait and
see. I think honestly, Brady's always on me for the fact that I forget everything that
ever happened on the podcast. I'm worse with sermons. I'm forever repeating the same
examples. Did I ever talk about that? Or people saying, I really appreciate it when you said
that last year. And I'll just look at them blankly going, oh, that sounds like quite an interesting
point. I'd love to know where that came from. And they're like, it was in your sermon. So anyway.
All right, Colonel Katrina, are there any rules or anything we should know? How are you structuring
this? Is there a system?
Any sort of preamble for us?
So I've got four different rounds for the quiz.
And I was thinking about this, how we're going to score it,
and whether we needed a buzzer or anything.
But I think it's just going to be a case of I will ask a question.
It's not going to be first in best stress.
There's a couple of questions where I will ask you, Brady, to answer first,
or I'll ask Tim.
But I think for most of them, it will be a case of you'll both sit and ponder,
perhaps stare blankly for a minute or two,
and then you might have a stab at a question and an answer.
And so then, and I'll decide who gets the point.
Or you might both get a point for an answer,
but we'll just, we'll feel that out as we go.
But there's nothing particularly you need to know or do.
That doesn't seem clear.
Like, are you going to ask a question and we're going to jump in?
Or is it like I get a question, then Brady gets a question?
Unless I say specifically a question is for one of you,
you can both answer and you can jump in.
But there's very few that I think you will know.
the question very quickly.
I think you'll have to think about each question and each answer.
So I think it'll be more of a...
How was it not clear the first time, Tim?
I've never heard a more clear explanation of the rules of a quiz
than what Colonel Katrina gave.
And you're like, can you say that again, please?
Well, I just feel like I don't know if I need a buzzer or we need to say us or a word.
Or is it like, are you just going to adjudicate who yelled out at the end?
Does she have to tell you a third time or are we okay?
I want to make this very clear.
There's a lot writing on this, okay?
There is no buzzer required, Tim.
It's fine.
All right.
Is there a buzzer, though?
No.
Okay.
Let's go.
Let's get this started.
All right.
So we have round one of the quiz.
So this is called Unmade Podcast Fax.
And wherever a question has come from a stakeholder or a Patreon supporter, I'll say their name.
So this first question is from E and B.
And it's very appropriate that this is the first question.
because Ian B's question is,
what was the very first word spoken on the unmade podcast?
It would have been Brady and...
Unless we did like a cold intro.
Let me just imagine what I'd do.
Was it...
All right?
Or...
That's my guess.
Hang on.
Do we both get a go?
You both get a go.
I'm going to say, well.
I think you would have said, well, hello.
or well or something.
Okay.
So Brady says all right.
Tim says well.
But Tim,
you reckon it was Brady who spoke first?
I do.
Brady, do you think it was you or Tim?
I would have spoken first when we recorded,
but there's a chance I took a section from later
and made it like a cold drop.
So I think it was probably May.
So you're both right.
It was Brady who spoke first and the word was I'm.
As in I am.
I'm.
I'm going to talk.
toss a coin to decide who gets to pitch their podcast idea first.
His favourite word.
Yeah, it's all about me right from the start.
Yeah, I'm going to give you half a point each for guessing right that it was Brady.
Oh, God, you're generous.
Nice.
Well, the questions get quite tricky.
So, oh, right, that wasn't tricky enough.
No.
This is going to be hardcore, obscure.
All right.
Question two. This is from Leo O. In which episode of the podcast? So I'm looking for a number. So in which episode of the podcast is KFC first mentioned? And what is its context? So I'm looking for an episode number, the name, if you happen to remember the name. And then the context in which KFC came up.
Well, surely it came up almost immediately. I mean, yeah. Yeah, the first episode was me saying, I'm eating KFC.
No, I'm jealous.
Well, my guess is the context is Tim eating it.
I'm guessing it was probably the context of it being a favourite Hein family meal.
Because early on in the podcast, Tim lent more heavily into family nostalgia.
So I'm guessing the context that it was a family tradition for the Heinz.
And I'm going to guess episode five.
Okay. I'm going to clarify because I don't know if you are referring to my current family
or a nostalgic growing up tradition. And I'm going to suggest it was the growing up tradition
with my... Oh, that's definitely what I met. I definitely was thinking about your dad. Yeah.
Right. Okay. Yeah, well, I have to concur with that. And, but I'll say episode two.
Okay. So Brady's gone with episode five. Tim's gone with episode two.
it was the combination of those two numbers.
It was episode seven, which is called Let's Invent a Language.
And I see where you went with a nostalgia,
but it was actually Tim talking about having a phobia of birds,
particularly when his chickens were staring at him eating eggs for breakfast.
And then Tim had to explain that he likes chicken and loves KFC,
even though he didn't really like the chickens intimidating him at breakfast time.
I do like chicken.
I love KFC.
Okay, the dirty bird.
Well, surely episode seven's way closer than to five than to what it over Tim said.
But come on, Brady.
You host number file.
You know that the number seven is very different to the number five.
So there's no points for either of you on that one.
Well, they're twin primes.
I was about to say that.
I wanted to say that.
There was one little prime bit of knowledge I knew.
Oh, no.
No. All right. Question three. This comes from Kelly Muck. And the question is, what was the answer to question 27 in the original inaugural bean dish quiz?
Look.
I mean, this is clearly a trick question because 27 was obviously one of my trick questions. But I'm trying to think what the trick was.
Yeah.
What do you mean you had what you had trick questions? I can't remember.
remember. Like, it would be something like there was no 27 or the, or it was an answer to a, or it was like, you know, it was, it was clearly one of the trick questions. Okay. I was silly. Going with that, I will say the answer to question 27 is the number 27. All right. No. What are you reckon? No. I reckon it was, uh, it was either that or it was when I played money for nothing to you. And, uh, and it was, it was like who was the, you know, who was, because that's my all time favorite.
moment on the podcast is when I said, who is this, you know, who is that you have to name this
piece of music and you got all excited. And then I played, played you playing money for nothing.
Because I can't think what the trick questions were, I'm going to go with the answer was
Tim Hine playing money for nothing. Also a good guess, but neither is correct. The answer to
question 27 in the inaugural beam dish quiz was Chewbacca. And Brady, you asked him, I think it was
question five. You said, what will the answer to question 27 be? So Tim,
I just had to make up an answer and then...
Okay.
Yeah, it was one of those trick questions.
Question 27.
What was the answer to question five?
Oh.
Well, people really think we know a lot more about previous episodes than we do.
And I've edited the questions.
I've thought, oh no, they have no chance of those.
So I've hand-picked ones that you might.
have had a shot at.
Okay.
All right.
Question four.
And this comes from Owen Kay.
In the special episode released on the 16th of December 2018,
which two national anthems go head to head in the first and as of yet only face to face
in the World Cup of National Anthems.
So this is the episode where you listen to two national anthems and you decide which one you
like best.
Which are the two national anthems?
Okay.
I remember this.
We recorded this in England in your lounge room.
We did.
Look, it was two African countries, was it?
And, well, you're not going to tell me because I'm going to Brady like he's the brains trust to help me rather than my opponent.
I've got a feeling like it'll be one reasonably.
I can't remember if I chose them randomly or...
I feel like it's like Zimbabwe and Ghana or something like that.
No, I mean, it's no other of those.
but I think it will be one obscure country and one well-known one.
We definitely would have chosen an obscure one.
I feel like the obscure...
I reckon the obscure one might be European,
because the European anthems are more fun to review...
Like Eastern, like Kersik-Kstan and Kazakhstan or something like that.
I'm going to go Romania and the UK.
Okay, no, none of those are correct.
So the two nations...
The two nations that battled it out were Honduras and Mauritius.
I don't know why that idea didn't catch up.
It makes me want to do it again.
It's actually a really good episode.
I've listened to it a few times just to refresh my memory on it.
It's a good episode.
All right.
Now, question five.
This comes from Alex from Gateshead, UK.
Alex was thinking along the same lines as Owen.
So his question is, which country run out of Honduras and Mauritius?
Got a 50-50 shot, guys.
Honduras.
I'm going to go Honduras, too.
You're both wrong with Mauritius.
I feel like you have.
had a bit more confidence about your decision with Mauritius, and there's only two of us to vote
and there's no casting vote, I think we're going to have to go with Maricious.
All right, question six. This is also from Alex, Alex from Gateshead in the UK. All right, this is
a Tommy Ball question. Before switching to the now famous Rombus, what shape was a traditional
Tommy Bull field? So I'm looking for a shape. Sorry, what's Tommy Ball?
It feels like something I would have said.
Part of me thinks a trapezeum, but it's too similar to a rhombus.
And I feel like I would have had a different number of sides.
I feel like I said rombus just because it was a fun thing to say.
Did you say rombus?
I feel like it's something I would have said.
The new shape of the playing field.
Are you in favour of the rombus?
I am, of course
I can see
I can see this one's playing on your mind
I don't think I would have said octagon
because they use up
it's between a trapezium and a pentagon
for me
I'm going to say a circle
no I'm going to go
Pentagon
you're going to Brady saying pentagon
Tim sang circle
yeah
bab bow it was an octagon
Oh!
Who said it?
That I don't know, I'm sorry.
Oh, okay.
I thought you fact-checked all these.
Didn't fact-check that one.
Call yourself a colonel.
I know, I don't.
I always liked the octagon myself, but the Rombus faction.
I mean, there's a powerful faction.
Well, it is a powerful faction.
Some say, I mean, I think this has been driven by money.
All right.
Well, what about this one?
Question seven.
This is from Debbie C.
And I went on to the YouTube playlist the night before last to double check this number.
So as of the 3rd of August 2025, how many sofa shop covers are there?
And I'll accept an answer within a margin of five either way.
Okay.
I will just point out that all the sofa shop covers that have been sent in or even played on the podcast haven't necessarily made it onto the YouTube playlist.
But we'll go with the YouTube playlist as canon.
Yeah, I've used the YouTube playlist and there's a number of videos on there.
And I've taken off two because the first two are the original with Halifax Street mentioned and without Halifax Street mentioned.
Okay. Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh.
You go first, Tim.
I mean, I've done all this work.
I've made them all into videos and uploaded them and done all of that stuff.
So if you get closer than me, that's going to be gutting.
I don't know.
Did you put 12 up there?
I'm going to go 42.
Okay.
Well, Brady is closer than Tim, but not within a margin of five.
There are 77.
Really?
What am I doing with my life?
You've put...
I always think...
That's crazy.
How many did we put on the cassette?
Oh, that's a good question.
That's probably.
coming, Tim, so keep your powder dry.
Well, that's what I was going by, like 12, you know what I mean?
But you've uploaded all, well done, there's way more than 12 on the cassette.
There must be, there must be close to 50 on the cassette.
Oh, right.
Which should be a clue for me, actually, now I think about it.
Yeah, anyway.
Oh, well, all right.
Question 8.
This comes from Leo O.
What was the first spoon of the week?
And in which episode was it introduced?
So you can have a maximum of two points for this question.
which was the first spoon and what number episode was it introduced?
Okay.
I'm thinking about how many spoons are over here, ready to be photographed,
how many spoons are at home displayed,
and then counting back.
We haven't done them in every single episode.
Look, maybe they came in around the 40s,
the 30s or 40s.
So I'll say 43.
The very first spoon.
Lake's entrance.
I'm going to go episode 35, but not with much confidence.
And the spoon I'm going to go for is the Adelaide Spoon with the festival theatre on it.
All right.
So it was episode 57, which is named Spoon of the Week.
And it was the Adelaide Spoon.
So Brady gets one point.
Yes.
Oh, wow.
Woo.
Juice.
trial a new segment here, everyone.
It's called Tim's Spoon of the Week.
Oh, yes.
Drawing on your anecdote from the last episode,
this is an Adelaide spoon,
but I look down and actually...
You've hit the lead.
Wow, I got one right.
Oh, dear.
That's got to be worth 100 points.
No way.
No.
No.
I got one right, Tim.
You're hearing how hard these questions are.
All right.
Question nine.
So this is from Owen Kay.
Okay, on the Unmade podcast merch store, so your T-Spring store,
which three products can you buy that are emblazoned with the shroud of Tim?
So I went and checked this on Sunday night.
You can still purchase these three products.
With the shroud of Tim, as in the...
Have you got one, Colonel Katrina?
No, alas.
I have a lot of unmade merch in my house,
but we do not own a shroud of Tim.
Okay.
So you can have a max of three points if you get all three.
All right.
I think I know this.
But as soon as I say them, Brady's going to go, yeah,
and then he gets a point two.
Oh, okay.
Well, let's...
I'll write down one that I know for sure,
because I have one.
and I'll go for...
I've got two.
I've written two and I'm not sure about the other one.
I've written them down so I won't change mine.
You locked him in?
You go to him.
Locked in.
All right.
A towel.
Yep.
A cushion.
Yep.
And I don't know what it's called but it's like a wall hanging.
Like it's like a piece of material you can hang on the wall.
Oh, yes.
Well done.
Very good.
I put towel, pillow, and like some kind of blanket.
So that's not a wall hanging.
So Tim gets three points.
He got all three, the beach towel, the pillow case or indoor pillow, and the wall tapestry.
Hang on.
Hang on.
I said cushion.
Brady said pillow.
There's a difference.
Pillow is what you use in bed and a cushion is what you put on the couch.
No, well, in what country are we talking here?
Well, then you're going to lose a point, Tim.
Because on the website, it's called a pillowcase.
an indoor pillow.
That's right.
So it could be either.
Okay, well then Tim gets nothing.
Tim gets nothing then.
Because he said cushion.
If we're going to be all Mr.
Technical, it's come back to bite you now, hasn't it?
Two points each.
Thank you very much.
All right.
All right.
You're just dengry because your wife uses the towel.
I do you remember you saying she came home and you had it hung up in the bathroom
but scared the absolute bejibas out of her?
All right, question 10.
Now, this one comes from Conal from Ireland.
Okay, the question is,
what structure did Tim and Brady propose
to be made in their honour at their old school?
Oh, yeah.
You should both get this one, surely.
Yeah.
What is it?
The Gates.
The Tim and Brady Gates.
Yes.
Yeah.
That's part of the Gates Foundation.
Very good.
All right.
One point each.
I haven't been passed lately,
but I don't think they've been built.
No. My sister was there a couple of days ago for a school reunion and she didn't report
anything about any gates named after me. I'm sure she would have. Oh, very good. All right.
Question 11. So this is a multiple choice. All right. Which of the following was not the title
of a podcast episode. This comes from Sam from Durham. All right. So there's A, B, C or D? A is
evil genius
B oblivion
C
Dangerous game
D
bad chicken
Which of those four
Was not an episode name
All right
I've got my answer
Oh yeah we should lock it in
Shouldn't we
Well if you just say yours
I've written mine down
So
D
The chicken
I've also gone D
Very good
Both got a point
It was bad chicken
It's not an episode name
There's no such thing as bad chicken
Well, didn't your episode of KFC,
or no, podcasters and cars getting KFC disprove that theory, Tim?
Oh yeah, there's rogue KFCs, that's for sure.
Sure.
There's nothing wrong with the chicken, it's the cooks.
The staff there.
Yeah.
Overcook it.
Too much oil.
Yeah.
You don't blame your ingredients.
All right.
Question 12.
This comes from Tyler Q.
In 2019, an emergency episode was released.
What was the emergency?
I reckon I know.
Oh, I don't.
2019.
Yes.
Oh, those long silence is a great podcast content, aren't they?
We'll edit that down.
There was a long silence just then.
Yeah.
It wasn't a diplodocus siding, Tim, so you can leave dinosaurs out of it.
I don't know.
It's not the sick one.
It's not when I was sick.
No.
Pull the pin on him, Colonel Katrina.
Let me have a go.
All right.
You giving up?
I reckon it was the closure of the sofa shop.
Very good.
It was.
Oh.
Yes.
Very good.
No, you rang Brady from the side of the road.
You'd just been to the Homemaker Center.
You saw the signs.
Yeah.
Well, this afternoon, I had to head down to a particular shop to grab a new head for a new vacuum cleaner.
And I looked across at the shop next day.
door was about to give my usual little nod salute to the sofa shop.
And I noticed that there is a sign underneath it saying that it's closing down because
the owner is retiring.
Unbelievable. It's bringing back old wounds.
It's a repressed memory.
Tim still doesn't know what you're talking about.
All right.
Question 13. This comes from Joshua P. In which country was the unmade podcast voted the number four comedy podcast? Oh, I know this. I know this. All right. Latvia. Latvia. Yep. Latvia. Very good. I mean, you have had merch made of that, but that's not necessarily a guarantee you'd remember. But very good. Oh, we love our Latvian fans. We often have like online meetups with them and stuff. It's like huge. Go to Latvia. You walk around. It's just.
just shrouds of Tim everywhere.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay, question 14.
This comes from Joshua P.
Famously, how many waves did Tim catch?
So there's a number.
Okay, so this is on merch.
Yeah.
And I can't remember it.
It's literally written on my surfboard.
See.
I've got it down to two numbers, but I'm not sure which.
Well, so Tim, if it makes you feel any better,
my son has a backpack that he takes.
to childcare several times a week, which I pack for him, I had to Google the number to remind
myself what it was.
Oh, a merch backpack of the, oh, right.
Yeah.
It's either, oh, I've got two numbers too.
Hmm.
I know, I'm going to go with one.
Yep.
21.
All right, what's your number, Brady?
I was going between 23 and 27, but I'm going to go 23.
All right.
Tim's got it.
It's 21.
Was it?
Yes.
It was 21.
Oh.
Oh, interesting.
Great day that was.
Well done.
Good get.
And I was so pumped about it.
The next day, Sunday afternoon, I went down again.
And I got 21 waves.
Wow.
And it was just like this massive breakthrough day.
Very good.
All right.
We're up to question 15.
This comes from...
Is this still round one?
This is still round one.
This is the longest round.
Okay.
There were lots of questions from the fans.
I couldn't leave too many out.
Okay.
You could have.
Vencat or fencat.
I'm not sure how to pronounce it.
Which Green Brother, so we've got Hank or John, was first a guest on the Unmade Podcast.
You've had both of them on, but which one was a guest first?
Hank or John?
I know.
I'm pretty sure we had, oh, hang on.
Brady, have you got?
Yeah, I know.
Yeah.
John. It was Hank. Brady is correct. It was Hank.
Was it right? Yeah. Hank was a guest in episode 21. John did not make his
appearance until 83. So we've got a, I've got it written down here. Hank Green. Thanks, Brady.
He's joining us today. Could you repeat that, Brady? Hank who? Sorry. Hank Green. Oh, nice.
So welcome to the show, Hank. What am I even up to these days? I don't know.
But I would...
Bloody Hank.
Brothers.
I just love how confident you were in that answer as well, Tim.
Yeah.
There was miles between them as well.
It wasn't even like a hard one that one.
No.
All right.
Here we go.
Question 16.
This comes from Andrew and Tom.
Complete the final line of the interim wrap.
It starts.
He just walked around the block.
What's the rest of the line?
What are you talking about?
about. I don't even know what that is. The interim rap. Oh, guys, guys, guys. Oh, is that when we had
a rap in the middle of the episode? Yeah, we had a rap. Because you were talking about, you know,
Michael Jackson's black or white and how there's a rap in the middle and you both attempted to wrap it
with varying levels of success. Anyway, and then you... I can't remember who did the rap. I can't
even remember who did it and how I made it. It was an unmade listener, um, wrote in, or maybe you got,
um, who's your music guy, Brady? You got him to...
It could have been Alan, the maestro, or it could have been Rich, who does a lot of cool stuff for us as well.
Anyway, there's been an...
Sorry to whoever it was.
There's been an unmade rap.
He just walked around the block.
It's obviously referencing some piece of law from the podcast.
So what do we have to do, say the second line?
What's the rest of the line?
And what's the first line?
He just walked around the block.
What rhymes with block?
Block.
Flock.
Knock, sock.
No, I don't know.
I don't know.
You got nothing?
I got nothing either.
No.
Okay.
So the full line is he just walked around the block with a spoon of condensed milk.
Wow.
Right.
Genius.
At the time, that was very relevant and zeitgeisty.
It was.
It was when you guys, you were talking about Milo and the different types of Milo.
And I think in Singapore, they have a special type of Milo where they mix it with condensed milk.
Hmm.
Okay.
But after we recorded that,
episode, we like then left the room and had lives and forgot about them.
Tim immediately, me after about three days of editing.
Oh, dear. Okay.
You better watch you back for the man in black.
Out for the kill.
He just walked around the block with a spoon of condensed milk.
Hot damn.
Question 17.
This comes from Alex from Gateshead in the UK.
All right, this is a two-part question.
How many wholesome specials have been made?
And for a bonus, which activity opened the very first wholesome special?
So how many wholesome specials?
And what was the first wholesome thing you did?
Okay.
I think I know the answer to this.
Shall I write it down?
I don't, because I've got it down to two.
All right.
You go, man, because I've got mine written down here.
So you're written down, so you're locked in.
Yeah.
Okay. I think there have been probably three that have had the name wholesome,
like have been officially branded as wholesome.
And I think it's between flying a kite and having the Vegemite on toast.
And I can't remember what order we put them in the episode in.
I think I would have put the Vigemite on toast first because it had better audio.
And I wouldn't want to have opened with something that had bad audio.
So I'm going to go three Holesome episodes and having toast.
Okay, what about you, Tim?
I've gone with two episodes and the kite flying.
Okay, so you both get a point each.
There were three episodes, so Brady was right on the number,
and the first activity was flying a kite.
So Tim got that.
Okay.
Hey, it's Future Brady here.
At this point, I went to edit in the bit of kite flying to show that Tim was right,
and do you know what?
I was right.
although there was a tiny little bit of teasy kite footage at the start
we actually have the bread and honey first
and then the second half of the episode we fly the kite
that's okay not going to change the scores just wanted you to know
and now here's a bit of kite flying
hold it man are you ready
beautiful here we go
yeah it's up in the air it's flying
yes well done man let off a little bit more string
oh hang on i'll lift it up that's right i just need to put it up a bit more string
Well, got to get it up high.
That was a great day.
It was fun.
All right, question 18.
This is from Linear.
What was the spoon of the week from episode 67 that was later lost?
Which spoon was lost?
Oh, I know this.
I think I know this too.
You should know.
You're the one who lost it.
You and I forget about what was on the point.
podcast, you and I exchanged countless text messages about it.
Well, you were furious.
You unleashed the beast.
I've written it down too.
So you say it.
Is it the Singapore spoon?
Yes.
Is that what you put?
I've got that written to Singapore.
We do get a replacement.
And then I think I found it.
I think it may have.
That's never been mentioned on the podcast, Tim.
Oh, wow.
You heard it here first.
I think I've got two.
And that's the reason.
I'd have two, or did I replace it with a poorer quality one and then get a better quality one?
Can I drop another piece of exclusive information?
Sure.
Because I want to see the look on Colonel Katrina's face, whether she's happy or she's mad.
Right.
We're thinking of expanding the collection of Spoon of the Week collector cards.
Oh, good. It's about time. There's quite a few spoons that need to be added.
You're not worried that you'll no longer have a full set?
Oh, it's fine. Okay.
I've got connections.
As if I'm going to send them to Tim.
they'll go straight to you if I do that.
All right.
Question 19.
We're nearly at the end of round one, guys.
You're doing one.
Oh, God.
All right.
They get really hard from now.
We've got some real obscure ones coming later.
All right.
This is from Taryn H.
Which Carillon was the first to play the Sofa Shop theme song?
Oh, yeah.
I don't think it was from like an Ivy League college or somewhere really well known.
I believe it was a bit more obscure, but it was in the south.
The south of the US, I mean.
Do you know, Brady?
I've written something down.
I don't know.
It's a bit of a long shot, but I've written something so that I can't be accused of copying.
All right.
I'll say then, South Carolina University or something.
I've gone with Florida.
Brady gets the point.
It was the University of Florida.
Woo!
Right.
How can you not know that, Tim?
Well done for knowing it was in the US, Tim.
That's all right.
You got the right country.
That is awesome.
That is really something.
All right.
him, I think Brady's likely to get this one out of the two of you.
All right, this also comes from Taryn H.
Question 20, what moon was featured on the first ever official segment of moon of the week?
What was the first moon?
Oh.
Well, I don't think it was the moon.
Hmm.
That's hard.
And that's the only moon I can name.
All right.
I'm going to guess Demos.
Oh, hang on.
Or was it, or was it, or would I have saved that?
Because that's a bit of a glamour moon.
It could have been, or could have been I.O.
Because I would have wanted to open up with a really interesting moon.
Or would I have deliberately gone a boring moon?
Oh, look, I don't know.
Now I'm thinking I may have saved Demos.
I'm going to go I.O.
All right.
Okay.
Hang on, hang on, hang on.
So Brady's comment has prompted me to remember that I think Mars has two moons,
which are like the whole.
horses that pull, you know, the chariot of Mars, if you like.
Yep.
And one of them's Demos that he's just said.
And I don't know the other one, but I'm going to say the other one.
I think that's actually incorrect information that you stated incorrectly in the episode as
well.
And they aren't the horse horses.
I think there was something else in relation to mythology.
But anyway, the other one's Phobos.
And it definitely wasn't Phobos first.
Yeah.
What was it?
It was Bianca.
Who's Bianca?
that's uh is bianca uranus i think it's uranus yeah or is it's it's not satin is it no i don't
anyway it's not a saturny there you go no no no yeah so bianca was the first one because i think
you were you were chatting about moons and brady made the comment that there's a moon named
bianca and tim said oh i'll have that one please when we do moon of the week so brady
specifically did that one why did i say i wanted that one because it was an interesting name for a moon
Oh right, okay
There's Ophelia, Bianca, Juliet
So you could talk about how they're all named
We could have a different moon every week
And I could regale you with interesting details
Wow
Moon of the week
There's a moon called Bianca
Wow
Yeah
That's incredible
Moon of the moon
We're nearly there.
Now, this is, I nearly didn't include this question in the quiz, but I thought both
Jeffs went to the trouble of emailing me separately, so I'd better put it in.
So there are two Jeffs who are loyal patrons and loyal listeners of the show.
There's Tall Jeff and Some Jeff.
Yep.
The question they have both posed me separately is, how much taller is tall Jeff than some Jeff?
Great question.
So.
Great question.
So some Jeff gave me his height in centimetres.
Tool Jeff gave me his height in feet and inches.
I've converted them to both using Google.
So I'll take, please, because I grew up in Australia,
can you give me a height in centimetres, guys?
But I can do feet and inches if you need.
Everyone does heights in feet because I was going to, okay.
I can freestyle feet.
I just might need a minute to work out the difference.
Hang on.
Yeah, I'll need to, because I'll have to do it in inches.
I'm going to guess that that, and let me convert it.
Oh, look, I mean, how tall is he?
Is this based on information that was on the podcast, or is this like...
No, no.
No, okay.
It's not knowable.
It's not knowable.
It's more just a fun question from the Jeffs.
Yeah.
I'll say 18 centimetres.
I've put 15 centimeters.
Okay.
So in centimeters, they are 35 centimeters apart.
No way.
Wow.
Tall Jeff is...
210 centimetres or 6'9.
6'9?
I was guessing 6'4.
Yeah, and some Jeff is 175 centimetres or 5'7.
Oh, that's short as well.
Wow.
I should have known told Jeff was taller because, yeah, why would you call yourself?
Why would that be your handle if you weren't super tall?
Yeah, yeah.
5.7, wow.
Some Jeff should change his name to short Jeff.
We've got Jeff's like bookends at each end of the height
spectrum of our listeners. We have, yeah. They're like. Oh, yeah, bookshelves. Amazing. Wow.
All right. Okay, now this is the final question of round one, guys.
Of round one. How many rounds are there, Katrina? There are four. Okay. And they get shorter from
here. Okay. So these cards from Conal. Not a short of short Jeff, though. Not a short of short,
Jeff, no. They get some from here. Yeah. All right. So this is from Conall from Ireland. And I, I,
I assume you will both get this point, all right?
So it's not a speed thing.
What European nation did Tim's father originate from?
Oh, interesting.
Like, way back.
You sure you want to reveal this on the podcast, Tim?
It's highly sensitive information.
Did you say what nation or what region?
What European nation?
Okay.
Well, I'm going to go, well, what was it cold when he was born?
Or did they even have countries?
name? Was it just like Europe? He's from the Netherlands. He's Dutch. He is from the Netherlands.
Very good. You both get a point. Well done, guys. I'm just adding up the points from round one.
I feel like I'm leading. You are, Brady. Okay. So at the end of round one, Tim is on nine and a half
points and Brady just out in front on 12.5 points. Yeah. All right. Okay. Now, we're up to round two.
Now, can I point out before round two that Katrina and I have two different South Australian drinks here.
I've got the Farmer's Union iced coffee, of course, which is our sort of state drink.
And I've got a nippies ice chocolate flavoured drink.
I prefer the iced honeycomb when I'm having my nippy's milk.
I think you both made a mistake having milk considering how long this podcast is going.
Well, I must admit, when I was warned that I couldn't make extraneous noise, I downed it before we started recording.
So I have already consumed my ice chocolate.
I also have a comically large bag of fruit chocks sitting here, which I also haven't touched.
Oh, give us a little rustle on the microphone so we can hear them.
Oh, look, Colonel Katrina's eating a fruit chock now.
Now I'm properly jealous.
Are you a fruit chock fan, Brady?
Yeah.
My goodness, yes.
Love it.
Used to love getting a bag of fruit chocks at the Academy Cinema.
Can I run to the toilet?
Yes.
Hey, Katrina, while he's gone, give me a few answers to the upcoming ones.
No.
All right. We're up to round two. Now, the credit for this round goes to Naomi E or Naomi J. So she sent me a list of questions all about South Australia. And I thought it was such a... Why is it E or J?
She says that she's Naomi J on Patreon, but her email sign off was Naomi E. Okay. So I'm going with Naomi E or Naomi J. So she came up with a long list of questions about South Australia, which is the state you're both from. Well, I don't...
Yep, a long list, is it?
So this isn't about podcast knowledge, this is about South Australia knowledge.
Yes, all right.
Technically, I'm from the Netherlands because my dad's Dutch.
Yes, and you were born in Victoria.
Yes, indeed.
Yes.
All right, question 23.
The area of South Australia is closest to the area of which of the following options.
So I'm going to give you four different options.
Okay, so option A, France, B, France and Germany.
combined. C. Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands combined? Or D. France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg
combined. So what of those four options is the area of South Australia closest to? I've written down
an answer. I'm going to go C, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands. I'm going to do D. I'm adding in
Luxembourg. Tim is correct. It was D. France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands.
Netherlands and Luxembourg.
You forgot to add in Kangaroo Island, man.
No, it gets me every time.
All right.
Question 24.
As at June 2024, what is the population of South Australia?
And I'll give you whoever gets the closest.
This is where having lived away from South Australia for 23 years comes, get back to get you.
I promise you there's approximately the same or less people here than when you were
I've written a number down, so you have a go.
I'll go, uh, 1.9 million.
All right, Tim?
I wrote 1.8.
Oh, okay.
So the answer is 1.878.
Oh, so Brady's voice.
Yes, that's me.
That's me.
Well done.
Oh.
Although on price is right, it would have been Tim, because I busted over.
And if you go over the price, you lose.
But that's not one of the rules we were playing.
Yeah.
Okay.
Question 25.
To the nearest 5%, what proportion of South Australia's population live in Adelaide?
So what proportion of the 1.878 million live in Adelaide?
So don't forget to factor in Kangaroo Island, Brady.
Oh, thank you.
That changes everything.
Again, I've written down a figure.
86.
No, 88, 88.
All right.
Tim?
75%.
Okay, so Tim gets the point.
It was 78%.
Oh, okay.
Yes.
All right, question 26.
All right, what is the highest...
What percentage of Adelaide's population lives in the northern part of...
No, he gets up.
All right, what's the highest temperature ever recorded in Adelaide?
And it was on the 24th of January, 2019.
I'll only accept Celsius answers, Brady.
Don't give me any Fahrenheit.
Okay.
Sorry, what was that date again?
The 24th of January, 2019.
The same year is the emergency episode, Tim.
Adelaide, not South Australia.
Yeah, Adelaide.
Okay, I've written down.
All right, I've gone 47.2.
47.8.
Okay, it was 46.6.
Yes.
So I'll give it to Brady because you were closer.
Yes.
All right.
Now, question 27.
What's the lowest temperature ever recorded in Adelaide?
That's a good question.
Yeah, the 8th of June, 1982.
Oh.
Now, just to let you know, I wasn't even born yet when this was reported.
Okay.
You wouldn't be born for another 10 years.
Correct.
Yeah.
look it's so it's it's okay i've put one i mean it's got to be an overnight and is it do you
what it was sub zero you reckon in adelaide i guess in the hills are we talking about the
hills included i've just got in adelaide in adelaide the adelaide hills are part of the hills
it's it snows up there so look i'll say um i'll say nine below i've put minus one point three
Okay, Brady's closer.
It was minus nought.4.
Thank you.
Cleaning up on the temperatures here.
All right.
Give us more, more temperature questions.
We're moving on now.
This is Tim's kryptonite.
I don't like factual questions.
I like sort of, what's your favorite album?
You know, when are we going to get to that sort of stuff?
There is a music round coming, Tim, but I don't know if you're going to like it.
Let's skip to that round now.
All right.
Question 28.
What is South Australia's biggest export in dollar value?
Ooh, all right.
Maybe you get both write down an answer.
Does I made podcasts count as South Australian?
I don't think so.
I don't know.
Okay.
All right.
I'm just changing mine then.
I've gone for iron ore.
I've written iron ore as well.
Sheep or iron ore, but surely iron ore.
You're both wrong.
It's wine.
No way.
It's wine.
Yeah, so the stat I've got here is that South Australia exported $1.9 billion of wine in 12 months in March 2025 when that stat was put together, which represents 69% of all wine exported from Australia in the same period.
So, 1.9 billion dollars of wine.
Yeah, we definitely haven't made that on Patreon, so yeah, yeah, it's wine.
No, it's definitely wine.
Wine, iron ore, then unmade.
All right. Question 29. What drink does legend and perhaps fact say outsells
Coca-Cola in South Australia? Again, I've written down. I mean, what do you got? It's got to be
the Farmers Union if it's like legend, like the ice coffee, Farmers Union ice coffee.
Yeah, what did you put Tim? I was going to put Cooper's beer.
Oh, Brady's right. It's a Farmers Union ice coffee. Yeah, yeah. Oh, man, you're drinking one right now.
It's sitting next to you.
I'm going to have to take a consolation sip.
All right.
Question 30.
Who is Adelaide named after?
So Adelaide was a person.
Who was she?
Well, again, we're writing that down.
She was a queen.
Queen, Adelaide.
She was a queen.
Yeah.
Can you be more specific?
What was her husband's name?
Well, that's not relevant.
No, no, no, William.
William.
You reckon it was King William as in King William Street?
Yeah.
But that's not why they didn't.
call it Adelaide. Like, that's a separate question. It's called Adelaide, not because
the husband was called William. Queen Adelaide, like, there's no numbers, is there? Like,
the first or second or anything like that. So it's Queen Adelaide. Yeah. So it is Queen
Adelaide and her husband was King William the fourth. So I'm going to give Tim half a point and
Brody a whole point. I'll take it. What was the temperature that day?
I have, just as a side note, because I speak German,
I have wondered if we're actually saying her name incorrectly
because she was German.
I think, I don't know, the German listeners might correctly,
but I would say the name Adelaide in German, Adelaida,
which is very different to Adelaide.
So, I don't know.
That's a mouthful.
That's a mouthful.
It is a bit of a mouthful, yeah.
So I don't know.
German listeners tell me, how would you say the name Adelaide in German?
Let me just have a go.
Adela Lida?
Adele Aida
Adele Aida
Yeah
That's how I would say
It reading it in German
But when I was on exchange
I never met someone with that name
So I don't know if that's legitimate or not
No one's ever pointed that out to me either
Like I would have thought I would have heard that fact
Just from German people even when I say I'm from Adelaide
And I'm going
Oh do you know we say it like this
But no one's ever even said that to me
Yeah don't know
That could just be a Katrina fact
That is completely wrong
So who knows
I like it
I like to call it rad
Adelaide
I have to say people calling Adelaide Radelaide is one of my pet peeves.
I love it.
It's so daggy, I like doing it a lot.
No, it's like one of those cliche jokes like, so it squeeze me when you're squeezing past someone or something.
That's a classic.
Works every time?
Or it's like, I used to work at Target as a checkout chick and we would sometimes call ourselves the Red Circle boutique just to feel more posh.
Oh, right.
That's better than Tajay, which is the other one people like saying as a joke.
All right. Question 31. Now, Tim, this is something that you've actually preached a sermon on, so no pressure.
What year did South Australia give women the right to vote and stand in elections? What year?
Oh, now, this is great. This is really early. Of course, I can't remember. But it was in the 19th century.
Like 1891 or 93? 1891.
I'm going to go 1903.
Okay.
Tim is closer.
It's 1894.
All right.
That's our claim.
I'm going to give Tim the point because he was closer.
Okay.
But yeah, that's something we take a lot of pride in South Australians
that we gave women to the vote, the right to vote first.
New Zealand beat us, though, didn't it?
New Zealand did it first.
They did, but, you know, that's all right.
Yeah.
All right.
Now, this question is for Brady first.
And if Brady gets it wrong, then Tim, you get a go at answering it.
Okay.
So.
Hang on, that doesn't seem.
Fair. Well, you'll see why in a minute. So just for the record. So all those questions up to this point were Naomi's questions. And these last two, I've freestyle, but I've added them into the South Australian round. All right. So Brady, Tim is a minister at Malvin Uniting Church. What is Malvern's postcode? I mean, I don't know. I'll go 5032.
No. All right. Tim, do you want to have a guess? Oh, you might actually know this.
5.061.
Well done.
All right.
So Tim gets the point.
Now, Tim, you get a first go at this.
And if you get it wrong, Brady gets to have a go at answering it.
All right.
Brady's childhood home was in Glenn Gowery.
What is Glenn Gowrie's postcode?
Okay.
Well, I was actually looking at this address because Brady and I were texting about our childhood homes just the other day.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Okay.
But I grew up in Marion for a while.
And so I think that was 504.3 and it's over that way.
So I'm going to go, but I reckon it's an older suburb.
So I'm going to go 503.7.
Incorrect.
Brady, do you know what it is?
I think it was 5044.
Yes.
Well done.
Yeah.
That is the end of the South Australian round.
Let me just tally up how we did.
Okay.
So in that round, Brady got six points.
Tim got four and a half.
So that means at the moment,
Tim is on 14 points
and Brady is on 18 and a half.
I'm not sure that was a riveting round
for our non-South Australian listeners
or even our South Australian listeners,
but there you go, we've done it.
There you go.
All right, round three.
This is the music round.
All right, here we go, here we go.
Okay, all right.
Now, question one.
What TV show is this theme song from?
what's the answer guys at the same time blueie blueie very good both get a point question two
what are the names of blueie's parents possible two points here guys oh okay i have a feeling
that tim spent more time watching bluey than brady yeah i don't edward's not into bluey yet
i did i did know the dad's name yep but i've forgotten and i would not have known the mum's name
anyway okay um i don't want to drag drag drag things out so all right uh
Are you going to lock in your answer?
No, I do know it, but it's gone.
No, no, no, let's move on.
Do you have any, any guess at all?
No, no, no.
No, you got nothing?
I'll know it when I hear it, but, yeah, and I don't know the mum.
Okay, what do you got, Tim?
Bandit and Chili.
Correct.
Two points of Tim.
Yeah.
Next question.
Now, this is another, another TV show theme.
I'm going to play it for you.
What TV show is this the theme song for?
Enough play?
I said, no, I got it.
All right.
I got it too.
What is it?
The West Wing.
West Wing.
Very good.
Okay.
President Bartlett in the West Wing has three daughters.
What are their names?
Possible three points after grams.
Well, let's write these down.
I think I've got them.
Oh, I can't think of two of them.
Oh.
Time's up, time's up.
No, hang on, hang on.
We'll edit all this out later.
Come on Coon and Katrina, give him a timer.
This is a chance for me to get some points back.
One, two, three, four, five.
All right.
No.
I'm not sure about all of mine.
I've gone with Zoe, Liz and Ellie.
What are their full names?
Come on.
I don't know who they married.
No, no, no, no, not their surnames.
Like, not their nicknames.
What are their actual names?
Not their nicknames.
They're not Liz and Ellie.
Well, I can have Zoe, Liz and Ellie.
Oh, can you now?
Surely.
Yeah.
No, no, you can't.
No, no, you can't.
Oh, I don't know.
Have it, have a crack.
What are their proper first names?
That's what he calls them.
Yeah, I know that's what he calls them.
It's not what their names are.
Oh, well, I don't know their full.
I know, Zoe.
Yep.
So Zoe Bartlett is one.
I mean, I could guess, but you have to give me those.
Sure.
Hang on, see what Tim says?
Hang on.
So what do you say Zoe?
Oh, no.
And I couldn't remember.
but the other two.
Okay, so you've just got Zoe?
I've only got Zoe.
You've only got Zoe.
Okay, so Tim gets one point.
All right.
So what are you going with Brady?
What are your answers?
Zoe, Liz and Ellie.
I mean, there could be Elizabeth and Eleanor or whatever, but I think that's fine.
It's Elizabeth, Eleanor and Zoe.
All right.
You get three points.
Final music question in the music round.
Tim normally kills me on West Wing trivia.
That's all right.
I don't feel like this is much of a music round.
That's a fair criticism.
It's a Brady music round.
Yeah.
All right, what TV show is this theme song from?
Number three.
Okay.
Hey, baby, I hear the blues are calling toast salads and scrambled eggs, white, stylish.
Frazier?
Yeah, I knew that too.
Very good.
Okay.
Scramble eggs one and...
Yeah.
Okay.
A point to each of you.
And follow up question.
In what U.S. City is Frasier set?
And when I say Frasier, I don't mean the remake they've made, which is terrible.
I mean the original Frasier.
I know, and I've written it down.
Yeah, me too.
What are you got?
I've gone with Seattle.
Seattle.
Very good.
Incidentally is where I've just been on holiday recently.
Oh, nice.
All right.
I've never been there.
Me, no, me neither.
No, the only reason I went is because my best friends move there and she said, oh, you know, when you come visit, what do you want to do?
I said, really, I want to visit you and I need to see the space needle.
Other than that, I'm all good.
So we went to the space needle.
Does your best friend listen to the Unmade podcast?
She might get into it now because I'll.
I was telling her about this quiz because while I was visiting her, I was doing fact-checking for
several of the questions.
So I took time out of catching up with her to prepare this quiz guys.
Because is she really your best friend if you haven't introduced her to the great pleasure
of your life?
All right.
Moving on.
That's the end of the music round.
Oh, Tim, you were robbed.
Tim thought he was going to mow me down there and it was nothing, none of his stuff.
I can't believe we had a.
music round and the answer was Seattle and the question has nothing to do with music.
Would it have been better to him if I said, where did Kurt Cobain live?
Correct.
Yes.
There you go.
Born in Aberdeen.
But I would have got that too.
So, yeah.
Tim did text me and say, are you going to Kurt Cobain's house while you're there?
And I said, no, it's not, it's not where we're going to be.
Is that where he died?
Yeah, at home.
Right.
All right.
So you both got seven points that round.
So Tim is.
now on 21.
Now we move to physics or something, don't we?
Yeah, but it'll be what kind of guitar did.
That's right, yeah, yeah.
And Brady's on 25 and a half.
18 plus 7 is 25, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's right. Good.
Can you tell I'm a lawyer, not a, anyone who does STEM?
All right.
Okay, we're up to the five.
I could tell you're a lawyer when you made me give you the Bartlett girl's full name.
All right. This is the final round, guys. Okay. And this is called the round of lists.
Oh, right. All right. So this is one where what I'm going to do is I'm going to say a thing. And if you guys, you're welcome if you want to, you know, write down your answers or you can just have a go at saying them. And if Brady says one, I'll give him a point for that answer. And if Tim says one, I'll give him a point. So I'm in your hands as to how you want to do it. But I don't expect you to get all of these on the lists.
all right so it's a bit of an exercise in teamwork so can you just explain that again where you're
you want us to jump in or you what do you guys want to do you want to sit there and write things
and we sit inside no do we alternate do we is it better if we alternate yeah that's a good idea
let's do that all right all right okay all right so the rounded list so this first one comes
from leo f s and his question or his list is name as many parts of a
spoon as per the diagram on the unmade merch store.
So there are, one, two, three, four.
There are seven parts of a spoon according to the diagram.
All right.
Perhaps maybe Brady, do you want to go first?
Tim's like, what?
But look on Tim's face then.
Seven.
Can I go first?
Yeah, one.
You go first.
What do you got, Brady?
Handle.
Yes.
That's one.
Scoopy bit.
Yes.
Leo specifically said scoopy bit is acceptable for the bowl.
Oh, that's not on the merch.
Yeah.
Well, can I also have bowl then for the proper name for a scoopy bit?
No, because I said it.
Yeah, you cheat.
Oh, but I save, you shouldn't have said it because I was saving it
because I didn't think Tim would know it.
Oh, sorry, Brady.
All right.
Sorry.
Shoulder.
Shoulder.
Okay.
Yes, correct.
All right, Tim, what do you got?
I'm out.
Stem.
Yes.
No, it's going.
Hang on, hang on, I was going to stay...
You said you were out!
I was joking.
There's the stem.
Well, Brady's got that one.
Now I'm out.
Then there's the bit at the top.
Tip.
What do you say, Brady?
Tip.
Yep.
Yep.
We've got two more.
Is it the head?
Is that what it's called?
You said you're out.
Head is not one.
Nah, that's me done.
This is getting boring for people listening.
All right.
Then the last two are drop and terminal.
Oh, I wouldn't have got them anyway, that's good.
So Brady gets four, Tim gets one.
Okay.
Now, Canada is a place I also went on my holiday.
This question comes from Ariel B.
Can you name the 10 provinces and three territories of Canada?
Maybe Tim, you go first this time.
Well, there are constituencies, such as the unmade constituency,
which is the largest constituency of Canada.
Oh, look, Brady's probably actually been to Canada.
Texas, is that in Canada?
No
Look, there's like
There's Calgary and Vancouver
But I think they're cities, aren't they?
Yeah, they're cities
But they're not, it's not like their regions
Are named after their cities
All right, what do you got, Brady?
Ontario
Yes
Oh yeah
Is New Zealand in Canada?
No, Tim
Is New Brunswick one?
Yes
It's like sash, sash wash and how do you say it?
I'll give you that one.
Yeah, I can't.
I can't say it, but I know it.
It looks like Sasquatch.
Yeah, Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan, yep.
French Canada?
Yeah, what's the state that's the French speaking part?
Oh, look, do you fill in the blanks?
I'm just kidding.
You handle the details.
Tim's big picture.
This is why we have lawyers.
Oh, no.
Yeah, I'm done.
You're done?
All right.
Brady, you got any more?
more, Brady?
I do feel like I know one or two, but I don't, but I don't.
You'll kick yourself when I say a few of them.
Are you out, Brady?
Yep.
All right, so here is the list.
And I checked this on Google and also relied on Ariel.
Okay, so we have British Columbia.
Oh, yeah.
Alberta.
Oh.
Yeah, Saskatchewan, which I'm butchering.
I'm sorry.
Brady got that one.
Manitoba.
Ontario.
Brady got that one.
Quebec is the French-speaking.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, sure, right, yeah.
And there's Prince Edward Island.
A new one was an island.
And there was New Brunswick, which Brady got.
Nova Scotia.
Oh, yeah.
Newfoundland or Newfoundland.
And then there's Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon.
Probably should have got more of those.
Yeah.
Oh, well.
Canadian listeners, please write in where you're from, perhaps with a map.
We'll have no idea what you're talking about.
Okay. So Brady got three, that round. Tim got zero. All right. Now...
Next, Nick Cave songs.
Oh, it's even better.
Tim got 400 that round. Brady got two.
So this comes from Fritz K from the Netherlands.
How many buzzwords can you name from the list of buzzwords used in the strategic vision of the Unmade Podcasts?
As mentioned, is episode 75, Strategic Vision 2030.
Okay.
Are you going to cap this or?
Hang on.
Are we alternating or?
There's 28.
I'm going to give you like two wrong answers each and then I'm cutting you off.
So Brady, you go first.
Stakeholders.
Yes.
I'm out.
No.
Just put, think about, you know, being in a church council meeting.
Oh, no, I know.
What got bounded about?
Oh, no.
There's things like, like vision.
I'll give it to you
It's part of a phrase
Align our vision
I'll give you that one
Solutions
Yes
I'll give you that one
That's also part of
Talking about
Having sustainable spoon solutions
Right
Outcomes
Yeah I'll give you that one
Holistic outcomes
Was a phrase used
Integrated
Oh
No that one's not on there
Okay
Okay
Try again
Buy in
No, that one's not on there.
We should have put these in, man.
That could be the 2040 strategic vision, guys.
Oh, I'm going to give you five more seconds.
Oh, hang on.
Him and then I can have a go?
Have you thought of one?
Yeah.
Oh, okay, you've gone.
All right.
What do you got, Brady?
I've gone a bit blank, to be honest.
All right, Tim, what do you got?
Mission statement?
No.
What?
That's not on there.
No.
Give us a few.
All right, so we've got unprecedented and challenging time.
Ecosystem, evolving, align our vision, which you got,
stakeholders, which you got.
And we've got deep dive, synergies, holistic outcomes, which Tim got,
pivot, and then sustainable spoon solutions, which Brady got,
unpack.
Yes.
And we've got cutting edge, moves the needle in meaningful ways.
Yep.
As a collective, big data, narrative, impactful, maintaining bandwidth, circle back, disruptive opportunities, hyperlocal wheelhouse, going forward, digital transformation, breakdown silos, micro-influencing, human capital, catalyst for change, and the granddaddy of them all, paradigm shift.
Oh, yes, yes, of course.
Yeah.
Okay, so you've got two each, that one.
I bet that's not the first time those words have been said in that office, Tim.
In these unprecedented and challenging times,
the podcast ecosystem is evolving in ways never thought possible.
It is important we align our vision with the needs of stakeholders
and deep dive into synergies which will deliver a greater return on their listening investment.
Yep.
While continuing to utilise.
our core competencies and seeking holistic outcomes,
we should pivot to sustainable spoon solutions,
unpack next generation sofa shop covers,
an output cutting-edge content creation
that moves the needle in meaningful ways.
All right, we're nearly there, guys.
All right.
So, question 43, this is from Debbie C.
All right, we've already talked about
how many sofa shop unmade covers there are.
Sorry, into how many languages was the sofa shop,
translated. So I need the number and then the languages.
Okay. So we'll do a number first, yeah?
Yeah, do a number first. Then you can work out and do the list.
All right. I've written one down. I'll say three.
Oh, I went for eight.
Brady is right. It's eight. Wow. Really? Yeah. That was a total guess.
All right. Can you name them though?
Well, let's go back and forth. I think that's the next part of the quiz.
So yeah. So Brady, you go first and you can do one each and see see how many you can get.
Dutch correct
The soup shop is the
Invecal
For the bag
Zet de Ville
English
Is that on the list?
What?
It didn't need to be translated
You can have another go though Tim
That's how kind we are
Go again Tim
Think of a different one
German
No German's not on there
French
No French isn't on there either
Okay
Okay
New Zealand
No
Canadian
French Canadian
Swedish
Yes
Beada from polyester
Dillin
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Oh look
How many more
Nations are there
I mean
Seattle
I'm thinking Scandy
Yeah
Is like Finnish on there or something
No
But think of another Scandinavian country
Norway
What language do they speak to
Norwegian?
Yes
Norwegian, all right
Yes
Yeah
The sofa shop
On Halifax Street
I'd want
Sofa utso
I'd for you so von
And then
Chuck us a clue
Go on, chuck us a clue.
Think of sermon on Sunday.
Yep.
That's not helping me.
It's online.
You should have listened.
Paul gets a vision of a man.
Where is the man from?
Macedonia.
Yes.
Now he designed a couch to okovara.
Materials of zave si so he may as well just give Tim the list now.
Hey, she wants communion next week.
This should have kicked in a lot earlier, you know.
Another round.
You've got to come up with another round.
Let's do another round.
Things Tim's preached about.
Bray, I'm pretty sure you've been on a holiday to this place,
which might not narrow it down.
It's a place with lots of islands.
Canada.
There's not a Moldavian version, is there?
No.
Lots of islands.
You talk about going to an obscure island that not many people have heard.
about.
Oh, is it Greek?
Yes.
All right, we've got three more.
One is European, one is Asian, and the other is...
Oh, there's a Japanese version, isn't there?
Yes.
Yeah, it was really cute.
And there's, so we've got European and then sort of a made-up language is the best way I can describe it.
It's not a nation.
Is there an Esperanto version?
No, it's not Esperanto.
But made-up, like is it, you know, jive or hip-hop or something?
Klingon.
No.
I'd remember a Klingon one.
Do you know there was a guy who tried to like speak to his child exclusively in Klingon
and the child stopped talking to the dad at the age of three?
Fair enough.
Yeah.
And now I do a podcast with him
All right
Give up
Yeah
All right
Yeah
So we've also got Polish
Pagny to attack
Olifax
Mom and Glutter to the Kahnapa
And it was Spoonerism
Was the last one
Oh right
Yeah
Yeah
Sovass up
Yeah
Drum and Cup in
Australifax heat
All right
So Brady got
Five that
round and Tim got two.
Okay, round five coming up.
All right, we're nearly there, guys.
You're doing very well.
Okay, this question comes from France's P.
According to...
Is there really another round?
No, there's not.
This is the last round.
All right.
What round is this?
Five.
This is round four.
How many questions to go?
All right.
Two questions to go.
You're nearly there.
They're worth 10 points each, by that.
Okay.
Question 44.
This is from Francis P.
According to the episode.
Episode 90, which is called Woo.
What things make you go woo?
And there's eight different things.
Oh, okay.
Well, I'll start.
You go first.
Yep.
Like driving through a puddle?
Yes.
Oh, well done.
I can't remember any of these.
Roller coasters?
No.
Think of something similar though.
It gives you a similar feeling, but it's not a roller coaster.
Like a swing?
No.
All right.
Tim, what do you got?
So, this is like Brady going, woo, woo, woo.
And you guys just rift on that for a while, listed things.
I've got, I've got one.
I've got a possible one.
Oh, like just putting on some cool sneakers and walking down the road.
Did we do winding down the car, winding down car windows?
No.
And going, woo, out the window?
No, that's not one.
I thought maybe that's what inspired it.
No, puddles in cars is what inspired it.
Because Tim talked about how when he...
That does make you go woo.
Yeah.
He talked about driving with his girls in the car
and no matter how slowly they go through a puddle,
they have to go woo because you used to do it back in the day, right?
Okay.
Things that make you go woo.
Right.
And this is a podcast all about those little things in life,
those little pleasures and joys that are so exciting to you
that you're very likely to out loud go, go woo.
Woo!
Woo.
I don't know anything else.
All right.
What do you got,
nothing else?
I'm getting old.
Nothing makes me a woo anymore.
That's it.
I'm done.
I sound so happy.
Give us a clue.
Give us another clue because it's fun when you give us clues.
All right.
Okay.
I'll give you a clue.
So the first one, Brady, you love these architectural things.
And it involves a car and this architectural structure.
Oh, going over bridges?
Yes.
So driving across a really big bridge.
Yeah.
All right.
That's half.
Half a point short.
Yeah, it's half if you use a clue.
I'll half if you use a clue.
Okay.
All right.
This one, next one involves Kylie,
agreeing to have.
Oh, we can't talk about that on the podcast.
Woo!
It was more in the food department.
So when she lets up on...
Oh, let's Brady get Macas.
Yeah, I'll give you.
Yeah, yeah, takeaway, when she says it's takeaway night.
Yeah, why don't we get takeaway tonight?
I'll give Tim half a way for that.
Okay, now Brady said before a roller coaster.
It's not a roller coaster.
It's not a swing.
What other thing do you go down?
A slide.
More specific.
Water slide.
Yes.
Oh, that's half each.
Half each.
All right.
All right.
Tim got going through puzzles.
Good teamwork, Tim.
Okay.
What else is a thing that when you're a kid,
You're kind of scared and amazed at the same time.
You're sitting in the back of the car and you go through something.
Oh, I know, I know.
Car wash.
Yeah, all right.
You got half a point each.
Yes.
Basically, anything with a car and water.
Yeah.
The next three, do not involve a car.
All right.
Really long quizzes.
No.
No.
What do you guys normally do on the podcast?
What are you supposed to talk about on the unmade podcast?
Ideas.
Yep. So what makes you go woo involving an idea?
When it's a good idea.
And when do you have it?
Not very often.
I was going to say never.
No, it's having a good idea before recording the episode.
Shows?
No, just thinking of an idea.
Yeah.
Yeah, right. Okay.
Yeah. That's, no, well, hang on. That's half a point, surely.
No, I'm not giving you that one.
All right. Shows are not on there, Brady.
All right, there's two more.
What's your other job, Tim?
That's something you have to prepare for regularly.
Eating KFC.
Sorry, your other job.
I forgot about that one.
You mean, like, having a sermon idea.
Yeah.
You describe it as cracking the sermon.
Cracking the sermon.
Cracking the sermon.
Woo!
Yeah, I'll give you half a point.
I mean, he doesn't get a point for that, does it?
I mean, you just told him.
He just, look, what's going to get it sound.
That's three quarters of a point, that is.
All right, and the last one involves the sofa shop.
What about the sofa shop makes you go woo?
Well, sitting in the sofa or buying it or seeing it or...
You've got pick one.
Pick one of those verbs.
Sitting.
No.
Buying.
Does he get like an eighth of a point?
No.
It was buying a sofa at the sofa shop.
Yep.
Okay.
So hang on, let me just add up those, the multitude of half points.
Hang on.
Oh, God.
Okay.
So on that one, Brady gets one and a half.
Tim gets two and a half.
Okay.
Here he comes.
Now, we have the very final question.
And there were so many listeners who wrote in this question, I do not have time to name them all.
That could be the list.
Okay, now hang on at hand side.
All comes down to this.
Is that right?
Yeah, that's right.
The quiz doesn't matter.
It's all about.
This is the quiz. This is the quiz. This question, is that right?
This is the very final question of the quiz.
All right. Popular demand. And I'm going to let, Brady, I'll let you go first because this is another list.
Name the 12 apostles of Jesus.
Bartholomew. Yes.
Matthew.
Yes.
Peter.
Yes.
James.
Yes.
The other James.
Yes.
Thomas.
Yes.
Judas.
Yes.
Andrew.
Yes.
Thadius.
Yep.
Do we say Bartholomew already?
Bartholomew is gone.
You can forget about him now.
How many are we done?
So you've only got one or two.
You've only got three left.
So you've done nine.
So you've done Bartholomew, Judas, James, James, Peter, Andrew, Matthew, Thomas and Thadius.
So it's three.
left there should be some sort of song that you can sing to remember these got i think i've got one i don't
know all right you go next brady what he got simon yes okay it's two left hang on aren't there two
are there two simons no no oh it's simon peter yeah yeah yeah all right there's two more tim
what he got jesus no he doesn't appear in the list was there a john yes did we say john
I didn't say John.
Oh, yeah.
There's one left.
Come on, Tim.
I'll go through the ones we've said already.
Bartholomew, Judas, James, James, Simon, Peter, Andrew, Matthew, John, Thomas and Thaddeus.
There's one more.
Oh, golly.
And this is for the whole quiz.
Is it like an unusual name or a really common name?
It's a common name.
You could have a friend with this name.
So it's not like Brady or anything.
Who'd have a friend called Brady?
No, he was one of the Greek followers who came later, remember?
Oh, yeah.
Paul.
No, he comes later.
He doesn't count.
He does become an apostle, but he's not a disciple.
Okay.
So I'm trying to think of the Great Ocean Road where there are the 12 apostles.
The three sisters.
Heirs rock.
Did he write a book of?
the Bible? He didn't write a book of the Bible as far as I know, but there is a, one of the letters
in the New Testament has his name in the letter. So, like, his name sort of forms part of the name of
a city that we have an epistle of. Oh, Philip. Yes. There we go. Ah, well done. Nice. Well done.
All right. So in that round, Brady got seven of the apostles and Tim got five.
Tim, you just have to bow to my superior Bible and West Wing knowledge.
Okay, so in that round, the round of lists, Brady got 22 and a half and Tim got 12 and a half.
So this is Tim.
Oh, yeah.
You've been absolutely panced at the end there.
Now, did I add up?
I'm going to have to double check my maths.
And I'm getting my phone out.
Hang on.
Tim, while Colonel Katrina does that, what are your reflections on the quiz?
Oh, look, it's, it was even tougher than I thought it would be, to be honest.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, particularly the first round, the one about the actual podcast that we make.
Yeah, that was impossible.
That was unbelievable.
My goodness me.
And I didn't even give you the hardest questions, guys.
Like, I betted them.
What's your reflection, man?
Yeah, I mean, the South Australia round was a bit of a curveball.
I mean, it was hard.
It was tough.
But, you know, the question I have is, Colonel Katrina, if before this idea came about and you didn't know a quiz was coming, and I had just thrown that quiz at you randomly with all those same questions, how do you think you would have done? Better than us or worse?
I think I would have done better than you, but not as much as I thought I would have necessarily.
There was a few of them who, once I went back and listened to the episode and it started, I went, oh, yes, I remember this now.
but I, yeah, I think I might have struggled on some of the list ones.
Like, my knowledge of Canadian geography is woeful, I must admit,
and having to look at a map and see all the different provinces.
I think you can join our club there.
Yeah, but I mean, who would have thought that was something you need to bone up on for this quiz?
I mean, you know.
Oh, were you boning up for this quiz, were you, Tim?
All that preparation you do.
What's the scores?
All right, so I've added them up and I've checked them on my trusty calculator.
So Tim scored a very respectable 33 and a half points.
Okay, and that's all we've got time for.
So, Katrina, it's been wonderful having you on.
Thank you.
Sadly, we're going to have to go to an ad break.
It's time for moon of the week.
Wow, Tim's so desperate to hide my score.
He's chucking in a moon of the week.
I'm hoping that'll put people to sleep
And they won't hear the next score
Oh, and Brady
Comfortably won
With a score of 48
Ah
Gosh, wow
Absolutely romped it in
We're in real life
I would hand you a bottle of wine
To celebrate, you know,
our biggest export from South Australia
But you'll have to go source your own
Since you're on a screen
I just have to get a piece of iron ore
Can I say
A massive thank you to everyone
who submitted questions because that was so much fun.
But the biggest thanks of all to Colonel Katrina for pulling it together, hosting.
What a fantastic job she did.
She's passed the audition.
New co-host.
What?
On your bike, mate.
Not for the first time tonight.
I'm out.
And can I say before I came on and thank you both for letting me do that to you, that was lots of fun.
But I did have a chat with Tim's daughters and I said, do you want to
give me some secret words and they said, no, no, no, you ask your kids. So I asked both my son
and my daughter, my daughter who has less than 10 words in her vocabulary currently for a
secret word each, and I have managed to successfully smuggle them into the show. So, oh, wow.
Was that Saskia one? No. Yes, my not yet two-year-old daughter has better Canadian geography
knowledge than all three of us combined. All right. Oh, okay.
Go back, people. Have another listen, see if you can figure out the two words that Colonel Katrina smuggled in.
Impressive. Thank you, Katrina. That was, that was epic. That was indeed epic. Humbling, I would say, from my point of view.
Embarrassing, even.
No, that's not embarrassing. Humiliating?
Thank you.
