Good on everybody. Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Vile Files Reality Recap Edition. I'm your host Nick and I'm here in the LA studio, Sierra.
Hey man. Hi. She's in Nalli. See my, my lovely co-host now. You don't want to call me lovely, beautiful, smart, beautiful sexy. Well, sexy is going too far. My beautiful sexy co-host, Sarah.
My lovely, sexy, wonderful wife is with us as well feeding one of our babies.
I think that's dove.
It is dove.
I thought it was Iris.
I got it wrong.
I was going to say for optics,
I was going to let you roll up in.
TV magic.
Jimmy's also with us.
How's everyone doing today?
Oh, we're surviving.
I feel like I've lived just about two weeks already this morning,
but we're here.
On your own, babe.
On my own.
Holding down the fort.
I dropped river off at school this morning,
and I was like, oh, the first Friday and Monday,
I, like, parked and took her in.
And today I had actually, I pulled in the wrong lane.
So I was like, excuse me, I need to, can I scoot over there so I can get into the parking lot?
And she was like, for what?
And I was like, so I can walk river in.
And she was like, oh, that's only on the first day.
And I was like, what?
So I can't.
She was like, no, someone will get her out of the car.
I was like, oh, okay.
And I just drive up and literally like lean back unbuckler.
She jumps out.
I'm like, bye, I love you.
And they just shut the door.
I'm like, okay.
And she just walked off.
She didn't even look back.
She just, yeah, see you, mom.
That's so lit, honestly.
What a pro.
Jimmy, how are you doing?
I'm good.
I'm well-rusted.
I got some sleep last night.
New York Fashion, we started to calm down a bit.
Your hair looks tired.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The hair says otherwise.
The hair says otherwise.
But I promise I'm feeling good, feeling recalibrated.
Well, I was by myself last night.
I had to run an errand for my family and get the twins' birth certificates
because we're filming soon for age of attraction.
So there's a whole passport, whatever.
You guys, it's boring.
He didn't just leave us to go to Dancing with the Stars
in case anyone was curious.
Yeah, it worked out really well.
I was in town and got to, you know,
the premiere of Dance With the Stars.
So I got to go and support Tyler.
It was a lot of fun.
Obviously, we'll talk about it.
We have Dylan Efron joining this episode.
He was also there at Dancing with the Stars.
So we will give you the Insider Tea.
A lot, just a great night.
The men got to dance, a lot of good dances.
We got to see some fun,
people. A lot of the Mormon wives were there.
Did you talk to any of them? I talked to it to me.
How is she? She's doing quite well.
What is she up to without Secret Lives and Mormon Wives?
Well, I was like, are you coming back?
Because, like, you're, you know,
you're filming some content with the ladies.
And I'm like, at this point, anyone can come back.
Seems to be a fluid situation.
It's a free-for-all.
Revolving door. She didn't say she was, so.
But I said, keep the rumors coming.
Urgent, pressing matter. I have to ask you guys a question.
if that's okay, regarding a past relationship of mine
that is somewhat tied into our conversation from last week
regarding Jen and Zach from Mormon wives
and how Nick, you brought up how maybe, like,
the internet's discourse maybe trickling into Jen's perception of Zach.
Okay.
And I feel like that might be happening between me
and my ex from Perfect Match, Allison,
because we ended things amicably, like, genuinely, like,
on great terms, thought we were great friends.
So you thought.
Yeah.
Like, genuinely.
Like, I was back in L.A. a little bit ago, and I hit up her and her homie.
Like, yo, like, back in time, like, let's link up.
And it was like a, no.
Like, and I'm just like, oh, shit, did I misread this?
And then I've been seeing, you know, people send me things that, like,
will get posted on the internet, like, little shade being thrown around here and there.
Like, she called me a bad.
fruit or like rotten apple or some shit like that.
And I was like, damn, like, I thought it was cool.
So should I, should I, should I, should I definitely don't want to feed into it.
I don't want to like create an internet war, but I thought, I thought it was cool.
I don't know.
I'm struggling with this one a little bit.
So, so to recap, you guys had an amical breakup and you took that literally.
And then when you had the opportunity where you thought it made sense, you reached out
to, like, reconnect as friends.
Yeah, but we actually had even kept in conversation over text while I was,
way just on some like little shit here and there.
Okay.
I thought we were actually cool and I might have misread that.
Have you and someone sent like, are you seeing like she like liking, shading things?
I don't know.
I'm not like super investigative like that, but.
I mean, bad fruit's not that bad.
It's not that bad.
It's better than like rotten egg or something.
Or toxic.
But we unfollowed each other.
Who unfollowed who first?
She unfollowed me first.
And then you, then you replied.
And then I was like, what?
Like, you don't follow me?
I'm going to follow you.
Like, that was probably petty on my end.
But I actually, I honestly think it would have been more petty of you to not unfollow her.
I liked the video about the rotten fruit, though.
What was the video?
Her, like, looking good in a mirror and it was just like text overlay.
It was like, I don't need to say nothing nasty.
Like rotten fruit going fall from the tree eventually anyway.
That's kind of poetic.
Sorry.
It was kind of a bar.
I wanted to follow up on some, like, at least you can make banana bread out of me if I'm a rotten banana.
I was like, not.
I was like, let me just act like I don't even see it.
You want my opinion?
Yes, please.
There's nothing for you to do other than nothing.
It means you're winning the breakup.
No, but we intentionally, okay, so like she announced the breakup, right?
And she made it very clear that I was the one who initiated the breakup.
Okay.
Which is true.
I never made like a public response.
Like, here's the situation between me and Allison.
and I just never wanted to feed into the internet's discourse
regarding their input on what happened between us
because we ended things amicably.
And I assume that they would be seeing us still moving forward
because we made a bunch of content that we backlogged
that we still hadn't posted.
That'll probably never get posted at this point.
I just assume that they would figure out that,
oh, they're actually still friends as the summer goes on.
I think, trust your instinct,
you brought this up in comparing it to Zach and Jen,
which is to say that like, you know,
Jen is reading the internet discourse and it's changing her opinion.
And what I mean by like winning the breakup, to me, like you thought like, hey, we're cool.
Let's just move forward and be friends and whatever.
And she is not doing that, which tells me that ever since this agreement to be mutual.
And from her standpoint, you're more out there.
You're having more fun.
You don't miss her from her standpoint.
And it's pissing her off.
And now she is engaging with that in a way that like, you know,
what I'm saying?
I think if she thought she was doing more than you,
she wouldn't be doing this.
Damn, I'm not, I feel icky about it
because I don't want it to feel like I'm winning a breakup
because I don't see it like that.
Yeah, listen, it's only from her,
like I'm just making the assumption that she is,
she's caring more than she should
because she feels like,
I think if you were in Chicago, not making moves, whatever,
and she felt busier or she had a bunch of opportunities
or was in New York fashion freak for a week
and she felt like she was more busy than you
I don't think she'd be making this content.
It's so gross that it's like an ego war.
I hate that.
Because I definitely see the comments too.
I see the whole you fumbled Allison
like go get your girl back.
Like you're just doing your big one
so that you could rub it in her face
and it's like no.
That's just her fans being fans.
Let her fans fan.
I haven't acknowledged it.
I mean this is the first time
I'm actually like voicing my,
I would say like
like it's not resentment but it frustrates me a little because I thought that we was actually cool
and I thought that we had enough like meaningful conversations you probably will be cool but like
I think she's just upset that you feel like you don't care that's why I think you unfollowing her
was actually not the petty thing to do I actually think you did her a favor because if she unfollowed
you and you responded in kind if you didn't unfollow her she would be like he doesn't he
he didn't even notice uh yeah that's actually true you know
what I'm saying? Like, she can't follow you, but you don't give a fuck. So you
unfollowing her is like making her feel like you saw it. You, you know, you were
upset with the unfollow. You, you responded to what she did, which is what she wanted. She
wanted your attention by unfollowing you and you gave it to her. So I should follow her.
That's crazy. I have had a sour taste my mouth about the whole situation because I do care
about her and like it does provoke like old feelings and stuff like when I see her on my
So like, I, you click that little button where it's like, show me less of because I didn't want to keep seeing her popping up because I know I was checking in to like see what was going on.
So I was wrestling with like my own feelings about the whole situation.
But I knew given what happened between us, it'd be best to actually just move forward as friends.
Just keep killing it with, kill it with kindness, not kill her, I don't like you know, but like kill the situation of kindness.
You're out there.
You're making moves.
You're having fun.
You appear unbothered by this breakup.
And that is annoying.
to her. Yeah, senior ex
everywhere is not fun. Like she's like, we
can be friends, but I do need you to look
a little sad in the next six weeks.
And you didn't. And then
that she's best. I know
it would hurt if she
found out about certain
friends that have hit my
line. I know that shit would hurt.
Her friends would hit you up. I wouldn't say
like all of them, but
I wouldn't say all of them.
I'm thinking about two specifically for two of them
to go out of their way to reach out to me or like
you know, like swipe up on a story.
I'm like, yo, like, I'm not going to expose you, but you're better than that.
Damn.
You think she'll come to my coffee party with Gall when I moved to L.A.?
Maybe.
You should invite her.
Actually, that would piss her off.
That'd be bad.
You know, Anna, she wants to you to think, she wants to feel like you're a little salty.
I'm not salty.
Well, you don't, yeah, that's fine.
You should invite her.
Yeah, like, what if he did text her and just be like, hey, thought we were cool?
I do think about that.
I wouldn't engage right now.
I wouldn't engage.
Well, who is engaging
is Ben and Taylor
Frankie Paul
have also
unfollowed each other
on Instagram.
When did they do that?
Yes, it's current.
I guess recently
because they are
no longer in love,
apparently.
Taylor and Michaela
have unfollowed each other
as well.
And Taylor has blocked Jace.
Well, on Monday,
after we recorded on Monday,
Michaela quit
Secret Lives and Mormon wise.
I think she added some context
basically, I guess they're
filming season six
and then she didn't think
Taylor Frankie Paul
was going to be a part of it
and then Taylor Frankie
Paul showed up and she was like, yo, I didn't sign up for this. I'm out. I mean, I definitely
respect it because like the one thing that I will say is that I think she was, they've all
kind of insinuated that the show, they film so much about their lives and there are these other
separate storylines. And for some reason, the only storyline that is focused on is the toxicity
of Taylor's love life. And I'm like, I guess Macy's like running a company. You've got Michaela's
whole health journey and that these women actually really do stand for their sisterhood and support
each other, but we don't really get to see that.
So I think in Michaela's leaving, being like,
I don't really want to be a part of something
that continues to support toxicity.
That's why I asked last week, like, why is it the Taylor
Frankie Paul show? Because I don't have the previous seasons
for context, and it just feels like these other girls
are popping in their own right, but it's just about
Taylor Frankie Paul. Yeah, listen, I don't, I don't get why
the decision makers don't at least, like, just give Taylor a
break. Well, that's where I'm like, I feel like you just don't ever know what the direction of the show is going to be, you know, and we had like the Jesse Marciano de Me, which was like a whole different type of level. But I'm just like, you don't really see anything about what these women are doing. And then randomly it'll be like drama at Macy's launch party or her book party. And it's like, oh shit. Yeah, she did write a book. You know what I mean? Like it's just kind of like the focus is always on the toxicity of Taylor's relationships where I'm like, I think being a supporting character and especially not feeling like you can say what you actually want to say.
because it causes so much more external drama,
I too would kind of be like, I'm tired of this.
So I heard it out,
the Layla also quit, or is that not official?
Macy and Layla are teasing
they're maybe leaving after season six.
They're not sure yet.
I would watch anything Layla does.
Just to see her on my screen.
I mean, is there anything?
Like this season, it's just like, once again,
like we're caring more about, like,
what's happening outside of the show
than what's happening on the show,
partly because, again, it feels like it's so far behind.
We have like, you know, we have breaking news about these women, right, quitting the show,
some of its biggest stars.
That's what I don't understand.
You know, certainly, like, obviously these stories are, I don't know what you want to call
them, but people are interested in some of these, you know, the more insanity there is,
usually people are interested, which is, you know, sad.
But again, like, it's not people, I just don't feel like people, are people, like,
really consuming these shows because it just, it feels behind.
And then these women are going online posting the,
real drama that's happening that people are trying to keep up with, which is like they don't even
know if they want to come back on the show. You know what I'm saying? Like it's kind of confusing.
Like we still need to catch up from last, what we pretty much left off in December of last year,
if not maybe March of this year. So I'm like, we still need to catch up all of that on time.
We've got Marciano and Jesse. We've got Jordan and Jesse's divorce or pending divorce or whatever.
So I'm just like, we have so much to catch up on and we're so behind. And then we're just like,
locked into this weird toxic pocket of time.
Isn't that crazy?
Like on this show,
right now on season five,
Jesse's still working on her marriage with Jordan.
And they have long since been separated.
She's in a new relationship.
So you would think on the show,
yes,
that would be a major storyline
covering the breakup slash divorce
of Jesse and Jordan.
And it seems like they're going to be so far
like we're not even going to get that.
Because we're in this era of like peeling back the curtain
and like news is happening so fast
so we know so much like in real time.
that that's the reason shows like Love Island pop so well because there's no chance to like know
what's going this we we see exactly what's happening they're contradicted themselves in real
time the storylines are playing out and like you know going in different directions 100% because
it feels like it feels like yeah like avatars like real sims like it feels like something we are
watching and the idea that this is happening right now and we don't know is like a just different
vibe and they filmed this show six months ago and it's you know yeah
You think more shows should adopt that kind of format?
I do.
It's definitely the only one I could think of that plays in real time
other than actual streaming.
And streaming is booming right now for the same reason.
I do think they should.
I don't know why they haven't replicated that
because, yeah, I do think people just want more of the Truman show.
They want to follow.
And you got to say in it while it's happening as well.
I mean, dancing with the stars.
Yeah?
Yeah, I think that's why kind of dancing with the stars has picked up
because, yeah, they follow the journey in real time.
Do we feel like maybe the show should just end?
That's such a difficult thing to wrestle with.
Like, my favorite show is like succession.
When the, like, you hate that the show is over.
But like sometimes you got to just say no one to say one and it might be time.
I kind of feel like, yeah.
I mean, Michaela's leaving.
Layla's TBD on leaving.
It's kind of like maybe we've just come to an end, ladies.
Like maybe we're just no longer friends anymore.
I think we want to see a show that's, again, not centered around somebody's love life.
I would love to see them going on vacations together, enjoying each other's company, supporting
each other's businesses, endeavors, their kids, the whole, you know, their relationships.
Would we, or that's just like a cool Instagram real? Like, is that a show? Like, just, like,
love each other like that. Well, I think most shows kind of do start off like that. And then it's
kind of like, we just get one person that's all of a sudden now become the star based of, like,
toxic behavior. But I'm like, I do think it's kind of interesting because, like, obviously
drama is going to happen in between. But I'm just like, I don't know that it needs to be so
centrally focused on somebody that clearly needs help.
No, I mean, it's just like the Valley with Jacks Taylor, you know, for, I mean, obviously
different contexts, but it's a point is when it gets that dark and that real and that serious,
it no longer is entertainment.
And tell me if I'm wrong, the best part of last season was them going to Mexico and even
then they found a way to make it really fucking dark.
I didn't watch last season.
Oh, period.
I kind of gave up on the Valley.
I work here.
But we want it to be a little more real housewives of the Mormon wives instead of how dark it's gotten.
Yeah.
I want like secret lives of the ultimate girls trip Mormon wives.
You know what I mean?
Like I need you to like lift it up a little bit.
So in basketball, we refer to this as heliocentric, like teams with Luca Donchitz.
They play heliocentric basketball where everybody is just a supporting actor of.
And the Mormon wives would be Taylor Frankie Paul.
So you want like a well-rounded roster.
Yeah.
Everybody's getting involved.
Everybody's making plays.
Take us on new adventures.
Like, you guys don't all have to be on the same trips.
You guys don't, like, we do it with the housewives.
You get, you break them up.
Like, I don't know.
I just think this whole, like, we all blindly support one person or if somebody speaks out
against that person, they're instantly the villain of this season.
I'm over it.
You know, we're seeing the same destructive decisions being made and there's nothing
actually interesting happening, in my opinion.
They could have, yeah.
Season five could have been like pausing the Taylor Frankie's Paul storyline.
Yeah.
Because, like, honestly, we, we watched it in real time.
and then give us the whole Jordan and Jesse break up.
And even then, they're talking about a season,
the entire five episodes are around a season of the Bachelorette that we don't get to see.
So they keep referencing something that we're never going to see,
people that were never going to meet.
And then even her and Ben breaking up,
she posted something, I think, yesterday about Ben.
So maybe that's why he unfollowed her and why that's news.
But it was like even then a dedication.
Wasn't it like a nice post?
It was a nice post.
And then he was like unfollow.
And again, this is just my opinion where I was just like,
yeah, where I'm like, this could have been a text.
Same, bro.
This could have been a text to Ben, but instead it's a public announcement because it's the attention and everything that it brings in.
And I'm just like kind of, I think people are just kind of tired of the circus of it all.
Well, Justin had a good theory as well.
He thinks possibly to me, Michaela, Macy, and Lela are going to film their own show with Whitney.
Because Whitney was also seen talking to Connor.
We're not sure if maybe they're going to venture off into their own little spin-off.
Who's to say?
And I would watch it.
Well, I can tell you that, like, you know, it's not going to be without the blessing of Disney.
Oh, for sure.
I mean, you literally have, like,
the Connor being cast in on Dancing with the Stars
suggests that they are working on something
because Disney has shown
that they're willing to use other shows
to promote other, you know, like Dancing with the Star,
like, you know, Brooks Nader, right?
We saw her on Dancing with the Stars
before the premiere of the Nader sisters.
We have Sarah Jane Nader on this season.
Oh, that's interesting.
So I use this like a quick, like, launch pad.
They've done that with other, you know,
Bobby Bones when they had them be like a kind of a
kind of a mentor on American Idol,
you know, post-down.
dancing with the stars.
But these people are very much under contract when it come to Disney.
So, like, they would not be allowed to just go do something on their own.
Oh, which also kind of...
But they could very much be doing something with Disney.
That makes a lot of sense.
And the question is, is, like, what's the me's relationship with Disney?
You know, after all that, you know, mess.
Maybe it's positive.
Like, again, talent wins in this business.
I was going to say, in the vein of NeNeely leaks, you can see the network and come back.
Dude, that's so true.
I'm seeing in New York Fast Street.
these crazy-ass lines and it's like,
oh, your talent, come with me.
And you just cut these lines.
It's, I mean, like, it's lit, obviously,
but, like, it's gross at the same time.
I got to ask you guys, I know I only,
because I'm curious.
Are you found this any for anything?
No, but I, like.
Do you don't care?
I really don't care about anything that she does.
Can you talk about the football ad?
The way people are losing,
like, the way this woman is at the center point of culture,
It's just fascinating.
I do think, though, like to sit there and say a couple years ago that you don't want to be objectified or sexualized and then you do ads like this.
Like I'm like, you're walking contradiction.
Money talks though.
By all means, but then just say that.
As long as she's not sacrificing her moral compass and all that.
I'm sorry.
I think that says crazy.
Like, I bet you have said I don't want to be objectified or sexualized.
And I am guessing you've also.
But then I don't continuously take rules where I'm showing my tits.
But you evolve over time and you start to.
Like, you know what?
To each their own.
By all means, that's why I said.
I don't care what she does.
I don't sit there having like a post about it, but I'm just like, I can understand.
But you've never posted something where you felt good or sexy in a way that like maybe
you wanted a little attention and you posted it for attention.
You've never done that?
I mean, it depends on what you're saying because like I honestly, like if I could eliminate
a lot of like male, my male audience, I would.
It does nothing for my engagement and for my work.
So it kind of fucks me over.
No, I hear you there.
It does a lot for hers, though.
You know what I mean?
So that's where I'm like, by all means, money talks, do what works for you.
But you also don't get to sit there and be like, oh, I don't want to be felt this way or be looked at a certain way when your main audience.
Does she still say that?
She seems to be leaning the fucking.
Now she seems to be leaning in because she also sells her bathwater according to Mary.
So sounds like.
Wasn't it like a soap with a cold cutout?
Here's what I don't get.
By all accounts, like, this is a person who like has her body, her choice.
She is doing whatever she wants.
She recognizes her audience as a bunch of broie dudes.
And she's made, you know, this is a, apparently a sports betting app that she didn't add for.
This is not about sports.
It's about betting.
And apparently she's part owner in this.
So she is using whatever she wants to do.
And like now everyone, like a lot of people are freaking out, like, shaming her.
Wait, even if you want to call this sex work, I thought sex works positive these days.
I thought we're celebrating.
I'm not really understanding your argument.
Well, everyone's like, you know, it's like, oh, you're naked.
You know, this isn't what women's sports are about or this isn't what it's sports.
Well, her audience isn't women.
Literally.
So, like, yeah, that's what I'm saying, point blank.
But I'm like, of course, women are probably outraged by it because.
But outraged by what?
Like, what about the body issue?
I'm just like, again, people are entitled to their own opinions where I'm like, okay, that's not her audience.
So, yeah, they do speak out against it.
There's a bunch of female athletes that feel like they're being reduced to.
down to, like that she's taking some sort of ownership over something that she doesn't really
have a right to.
I hear you that, like, if people, if people that aren't as tapped into the internet and, like,
what it means to have a, to tailor your content toward an audience or a certain demographic,
if you're not, like, hip to that concept, I get why you would think she's, like, not helping
the image of, like, what women need to do in the industry to, like, make it.
Well, what's the difference between her and Tate McCray or Sabrina Carpenter?
Like, what's the fucking difference?
Wait, what are they doing?
Yeah.
It is different.
I think it's like different, like, fonts, essentially.
Tell me.
I would say it's as simple as Sydney Sweenies is very clearly tailored toward the male gaze and, like, provoking them.
And Sabrina Carpenter's is like.
Women empowerment.
Female empowerment.
Yeah.
Taking pride in her appearance and, like, women empowerment, yes.
There's a difference of, like, owning your sexuality and then there's a difference
of selling your sexuality.
And so I'm like, I do think that in the sense of, like, Sydney, Sweeney's only selling it to a male audience.
I think Sabrina Carpenter is somebody who's, like,
like, oh, you can feel this way and own it.
And you know what I mean?
So I do think it's a little different.
You can be hot for yourself, not for men type.
And none of them do women's sports ads.
People were...
This is an ad for sports.
This is an ad for betting.
It's an ad for men to get their money.
It's an ad for men.
Anyway, I'm just more fascinated how everyone cares about Cindy Sweeney in a way that, like,
the way people put labels on people.
Because she does continually do stuff to, like, put women back maybe 100 years.
A hundred years.
And that's your wife.
I disagree with her.
Just like constantly, it's like, come on, babes.
Like, let's give us some sort of, like, self-worth.
What are you talking about?
She has used her skills and talents to make,
she'll probably be worth $100 million because.
She's used her looks and sexuality, which is, again, there's nothing wrong with that.
But I'm like, she's owning that.
Yeah, that's, that was my question.
Because I still do think that if we are championing and, like, you know,
celebrating people that, like, like, not sex workers, but, like, people that are,
is that setting women back or is it, like, you know, empowering them in a new way?
Yeah.
Like everything she is, like she should be the, like the pinnacle of like she is her,
she's making her choices and doing what she wants.
She's making all the money.
No one's taking money from her.
And she is making it fucking rain.
And she's taking advantage of stupid horny men.
She is Cassie from Euphoria in real life.
Well, before we get to Dylan, uh, should we talk a little OC and, uh, NYC?
Let's do it.
What are we liking more right now?
Roney for sure.
Yeah.
Same. I think I really like that Aaron's owning this like, I talk shit about my friends,
but I don't want people to know I talk shit about my friends. But I'm going to tell you I talk shit
about my friends on TV. I love it. I love the whole, it's very meta. It's strangest behavior
to me. And I really like Gabe. You like who? I really like Gabe. Oh. I listened to their
intros for the first time this episode. The new girl, um, Haley. No, the brunette.
Erica? Hers is like something about talk of.
It's the most confusing thing ever.
I'm like, this is...
How did Martha Stewart get involved?
That was like such a random person to see on my screen.
She's a client of one of the new housewives.
Daisy does her makeup.
Yeah, Daisy does her makeup.
Friendships come and go.
Tacos, there forever.
What?
She'd be like tacos.
Shall I get that Taco Bell sponsor.
She's the one that created the Rumble boxing method and the Equinox.
She created Rumble boxing?
Well, she's one of the co-founders of, like, the method and whatnot, and then she is also doing burn for equinox.
And I'm just like, it's just, I'm just not believing.
Wait, which one is this?
Erica.
Erica is the brunette that was teaching the workout class that Haley and so-and-so took, but, like, she's married to a billionaire, correct?
But she also, yeah, like, is a-hiker that developed the Rumble boxing method.
She's married to the founder of built.
Yeah.
Is Daly the one married to the guy who has like OCD around the house that like is super controlling and like needs everything put in a specific place?
The bald head dude.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
You don't know what I'm talking about?
Yeah, yeah.
That seems miserable.
Isn't he a hairdresser?
Didn't she?
Yeah, he's a hairstice.
He's the one married to the Martha Stewart's.
Daly's in the thick, in the middle of the Martha Stewart.
I just love it like when, you know, hairdressers prominently are women.
And then I love it when a male hairdresser, straight, bald.
like I love it.
It's there something.
You know what I'm saying?
Like he must be.
Like I feel like he would be awesome for some reason.
I mean, Sean, Angie's husband.
But he's not awesome.
You can't like leave a crumb anywhere.
He's a little condescending.
But we got Carol Radswell.
And then Jessel this episode, unfortunately,
could not with the mouth at the table when she was talking about Carol
Beset and asking Carol about the past,
about love life.
There's two Carols?
Well, Carol Radswell used to be married to Bobby Kennedy Jr.'s cousin.
I was confused about that.
Yeah, because she used to be a news anchor.
And she was best friends with Carol Bassett, who obviously passed away and the main character
of love story.
So Jessel was like asking her all about it, which I feel like is kind of normal.
And so did Daisy.
Daisy wanted to ask her all of these questions about like her friend who would
passed, but then Jusel kind of was like, how do you feel about Carol Beset's summer?
I was like very like, I don't, almost like as if Carol wasn't a real person.
And I felt really bad for Carol Radzwell in those moments because she was, remember,
she left the dinner early because Jusel just like could not keep it in the box.
And I was like, Jessel, I'm rooting for you this season.
Why are you rooting for her?
She seems like she can't read the room.
Yeah.
And that's the thing where this first episode.
She has a want to like you personality.
Yeah.
Or like.
She seems sweet in real life.
It almost just feels like that friend that really just doesn't have any spatial awareness and it's not so much by a lack of learning.
It's just like that really is how she is.
But in this current situation.
She means while she just doesn't have a filter.
One of her big opening lines when she came on the season was like that she moved to Tribeca.
It's an up-and-coming borough of New York where it's like it's fucking Tribeca.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Love Tribeca.
Yeah, she just says things sometimes and you're just kind of like, huh?
And it's like, and it's the lacking of spatial awareness.
But I'm just like, especially when you're talking about somebody's friend who had passed and whatnot, you think you would kind of read the room a bit.
And then she thought she could recover by being like, don't you just think that family's cursed?
And it's like, nope, you doubled down.
That's what I'm saying.
That's definitely not the thing to say to win him back over.
Poor Carol's like, I'm going to go.
Yeah, I need to go take a nap.
Like, yeah, go get you some rest, shardy.
If you could be a doctor or what doctor would you be?
If I could be a doctor, a plastic surgeon.
Bostic surgeon.
Make a lot of money.
I'd be a sports doctor.
You'd be an orthopedic doctor?
Is that that?
Sure.
I don't know the branches.
You shouldn't know that.
Are they called branches?
It's not like it's government?
I don't know.
I want to work with the athletes.
I think it's specialties.
Specialties.
Well, I mean like the team doctors that are on like the head team doctors, they're all orthopedic surgeons.
No, I want to be like Jason Tatum's doctor.
Like a sports medicine lamb guy.
Yes.
You want to be like a private doctor, like Tom Brady's doctor who tells him to eat avocado ice cream.
Yeah, like I want to personalize his life and treat him like a robot.
I want to be a dermatologist.
Elaborate.
Well, because just like on a famous Jerry Seinfeld episode, for the most part, no one dies.
Yes, there's a whole, like you can identify skin cancer and send him on to an oncologist.
But like, it's pretty not heavy stuff.
How do you feel about like pimples, though, and popping?
Oh, my God, I'm obsessed.
Pimple popper.
I saw someone in line.
I don't know where I was.
I think Jones.
And the person behind me,
she had a pimple just ready to be popped.
And I was just like,
that's awesome.
Good for you.
I wish.
So nasty.
That's nasty.
Listen,
I love to pop a pimple.
It would be great for me.
And then now,
like,
you wanted to pop a stranger's pimple.
No,
I didn't want to pop their pimple.
I was just admiring that they had a pimple.
You were happy that she had a big pimple.
He gave her props.
Crazy thing to say.
Hey, those videos,
I find myself scrolling.
I'll hate that I get stuck watching.
Now you just can inject people's faces.
Not interested.
Do not show this on my feet ever again.
There's fidget toys specifically for people that have pimple popping fat
go to therapy.
It's a weird, like satisfying.
I have it controlled.
I can dry you right now.
Just thinking about it.
Me too.
But anyways,
outside of that,
it seems like dermatologists have been able to find a loophole into plastic
surgery with all the injectables you can do now.
Botox.
And it seems like all the housewives like have dermatologists that, you know, they're, you know.
It sounds so much better.
What's a, what's a, what's a, what's a, what's a, what's a, what's a, what's a doctor?
Plastic surgeon.
Okay.
And then do they also do, because there's a difference between BBLs and and butt shots I've learned.
I'm sure there's a lot of doctors that want to do butt shots.
And I'm sure they say that they do.
And then people come to them and then they end up looking crazy.
Yeah.
I think the only person you should go to for a butt shot is a plastic surgeon.
But there are dermatolitis, yes, like basically any injectable, like, you just need to be a doctor.
Or a nurse practitioner.
Or nurse practitioner.
You've been in L.A. for 24 hours.
What's going on here?
You want to get some injectables?
Yeah.
They were talking about on Roney.
And she was like, they were arguing over doctors and in hippilaws.
And it just made me think, like, God, you know, just all the dermatologists are just making so much money.
Oh, yeah.
Inviting your dermatologist to the party.
Yeah.
Is Botox plastic surgery?
You can get Botox at like med spas, but, you know, I think if you have the option to go to a doctor is probably the best place.
Like dentists are doing Botox these days.
What?
Yeah, you can get Botox.
You can get Botox pretty much anywhere.
You can get it at the wafels.
Interesting.
Yeah, Odell Buckham Jr. has been running rampant with the Botox.
He does.
Really?
Yeah, he can't move his face.
He's like a statue.
Oh, my God.
He was so handsome.
She's trying to stay handsome.
He's trying a little too hard, though.
Apparently everyone's getting botched from Masseter Botox as well.
From what?
Masseter Botox?
Like in your jaw.
Jesse from Mormon wives, like, she openly admits how she wants her old face back.
I think that's so, like, sad.
Yeah.
They always said, don't touch your face.
I used to want to, like, get elbowed in the face playing ball so I get a free nose job or some shit.
Like, an excuse to get a nose job, like break my nose job.
Like, oh, damn, I got to get a nose job.
Don't change your nose job.
No, well, I don't want to.
I like my face at this point.
I don't want to change it.
Yeah.
So I heard that Botox, it obviously like whatever gets rid of the wrinkles,
but you lose the ability to like flex these like micro muscles in your forehead.
So unless you like keep up with the Botox for the rest of your life,
eventually your face just like melts like this.
That's scary to think about.
Is that correct now?
You know, I don't remember.
All right.
Well, Dylan Ephron is here.
And yeah, we are ready to talk about last.
Last night's Dancing with the Stars premiere were all the men danced, and unfortunately,
Connor Levitt had to go home.
But we are here to talk about the performance and catch up with Dylan.
And then up next, we have my Trey Ramakrishnan.
You probably know her from the hit show Never Ever.
She's also leading in the new movie Best of the Best, and she is with us to talk all about
it, so don't go anywhere.
But right now, Dylan Efron.
The Eagle has landed.
Hey, buddy.
You look great.
When I get styled, I'm always like, just style me like Dylan Ephron.
Hi.
Those are great.
Those are great trousers.
Where do you get those?
Where?
Nice around.
Okay.
Love it.
You look great.
Thank you.
My end?
Those aren't even just like this?
Oh, those are, what kind of chucks are those?
I don't know.
Why are you trying to steal his look?
Can I think of a picture?
Oh my gosh.
Dylan better start an LTK.
Number one customer Mick.
We're in.
Dylan, he does very sweetly whenever we get styled.
He does tell our stylist that he wants to look like Dylan.
Aw.
I just, you know, I think we have similar style.
Thank you.
We do.
You're not going for my look.
You got a good luck, though.
He did not ask for the sheer tank top look, Jimmy.
I'm very sorry.
For the sheer, the crop teas.
There's so much that you do that I can't pull off, which is what I think why I appreciate it.
You don't want to do a crop top?
But I can see you rock at a crop.
Yeah.
I don't have the nipples.
What the hell?
Now, you got the beard, though.
I wish I could grow a beard so bad, like, so bad.
Hey, Movembres next month.
Dylan, welcome to the show.
Thank you.
Yeah, it feels good to be back.
It's good to have you back.
Jimmy, you're jealous of facial hair.
Incredibly.
I just want the ability to grow one.
I'm jealous of your basketball skills, so everything balances out.
Okay, bad.
Thanks.
Wait, Dylan, you won the mirror ball, didn't you?
No, I was a finalist.
one year season?
Robert Irwin.
Oh my God.
That was only last year?
Yeah, that was last year.
Isn't that crazy?
It feels like a while ago.
And after the premiere, I'm happy
I was on last season.
It was stacked last night.
Yeah, it's a deep lineup.
So obviously we had the men last night.
Dylan, I didn't get to see you.
I know.
I wasn't in the stands.
Okay.
Oh, yeah.
I was sitting next to Tate.
Yeah, I didn't realize because they have,
like, there was such a big cast that
they had the men dance the first night.
The women dance, you know,
by the time you guys,
listening to this, the women will have dance, we will know who was eliminated. We now
Connor Levitt is eliminated. But yeah, even then, it wasn't, it wasn't, like, obvious.
Like, Connor did very well. Conner's problem was we had Guillermo, because, like, both of them
were just very fun, entertaining dances. Like, it wasn't technical. It was, but, like, they were
so, like, Connor was so into it. He was such a performer. Was such a big part of it, but...
I loved, like, Connor's whole package, too. Like, everything that was in that is so true. Like, he
was at every show last year, and he's the most supportive husband, good father. So it's,
I think it's still a win for him. Like, he got to show the world. Totally. I mean, yeah,
I'm sure, we should look up to. Two years ago, the idea of being on Dance with the Stars was,
like, not even on his radar. But it is a little bit of a bummer that, like, he got this cool
opportunity and just just pull from so quickly. Yeah. No, it's tough. I think he's so positive,
though, that he still thinks of it. Like, he has his chin. Yeah. He's a, he's a, he's a, he's a,
He's a positive guy.
I think that's my biggest takeaway from this first week, though,
is it's almost like it's a one in seven chance you're going to go home for guys and girls.
Like next week is going to feel so much easier.
Yeah.
It's back to one in 13.
Yeah.
So I feel like this first week is scary.
Yeah.
Pressure really are.
Yeah, you're right because it's like one in seven.
Yeah, it's a numbers game.
And it's like we're halfway through the season already, week one.
And then online voting went down.
Oh, yeah.
They crashed it.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's crazy.
I tried to vote even though I was late to the party.
I tried to give Tyler some love.
I forgot that it airs live.
Dylan, how did it feel that Derek Huff thought you were Tyler?
Yeah, that was pretty funny.
I'm not complaining.
He's a great looking guy.
Yeah, that was funny.
Honestly, I felt like when Julianne was when she was like, let's do it again.
Actually, let's run it back and let's do it one more time.
It was just so real and I honestly loved it.
That's the thing.
It's like she makes mistakes.
It's live.
It's live TV.
It's not scripted.
So with everybody makes mistakes.
Could you imagine if I had to do that shit?
Yeah.
Oh my God.
And she's able to read it on a telephometer.
The name's hard to pronounce.
It's like, oh my God.
Dude, she rolls with the punches.
She makes light of it.
She can laugh at herself.
She's great.
I love at the end when they're running out of time and after after Harry dance.
He's like, I just really enjoyed that.
Yeah, that's great.
I love that.
Do you think Harry's too good to?
win? I personally don't. Like it's that's a beauty of this show is you can vote for
whoever you want. Harry was entertaining as hell. Like I loved watching that
performance. Oh he's like exceptional. Yeah, he's exceptional. So if you if that's what you
want to watch on TV, vote for it. It's like everyone can vote for whoever they want to vote
for and there's things in his dance like his musicality is incredible. But he's still
learning ballroom like you can see it in some of the movements like his New Yorker.
They're not pro-level New Yorkers yet.
So he still has a lot to learn.
And I think from his package as well, he's just excited to be there.
It's been nine years.
What's a New Yorker remind me?
That's like the arm over the top.
Oh, this thing?
Yeah.
Like, dude, he's incredible.
But there's still ballroom stuff that he can learn.
I'm excited to see that journey.
Have you kept up with the dancing at all, Dylan?
Not so much.
Not so much.
I hope two more.
Like if you went to a salsa night,
do you think you'd be confident or you think you'd be like,
Not salsa, maybe like a cha-cha night.
Okay.
I did a little more cha-cha than salsa.
Did you have a favorite performance?
Harry's was incredible.
Like, I think it was the best of the night.
Yeah, I mean.
Favorite, like, I love seeing Connor up there, Connor W.
Like, he's just my, he's a homie.
Like, I love him.
So seeing where he started and-
He did kind of better.
Like, when they showed his opening package,
they really leaned into like he couldn't dance.
Oh, he couldn't.
And he didn't.
know he was on the show. Like I'm friends with him. I found out around when he found out he had no prep
time. He did pretty well. Yeah, he did. He's he dropped everything when he got this opportunity. He's like,
I'm going all in. And you could see week one like he was nervous, but like he came up, showed up.
I was so proud of him. Yeah. And then Ezra, man, Ezra's insane. I feel like he's going to win.
You get emotional when you talk when you watch him. I think everybody's boards have jumbled since before
this first episode like Ezra's up there at the top now because like I mean it's just incredible what
he's done just with his life and then on it just really and I think karyan said this it's like what
makes dance with the stars so cool because you see people like him go out there and crush it and
not that I know what the fuck a frame is but it seemed like he was like very his like he seemed like so
like the Tyler and Connor like you know again like we're you and I where it's just like you're
pretty good but like sometimes you just notice like you're a step behind or just a little off and
Ezra wasn't it's sharpness he at the end of the day he's an athlete he's a peak performer and you can
see it in his movements are sharp his spins are fast yeah yeah and and props to dina cats like
the i think the pairings are perfect like danny is the perfect partner for ezra esra is an athlete and
can take all of her notes her complex choreography and he's just like yep
I can do that.
I can do that.
And then we have Jackson Olson.
Yeah.
And truly just a, like, he's a performer.
A performer.
Yeah, here's a question for you.
What do you think of the lip singing?
Because that's what they do in Savannah bananas.
I'm curious.
Well, you're asking a guy who looked scared when I danced.
And so, like, I think when I, honestly, last night, I was watching, everyone did a great job.
Because, like, and I've, you know, I was telling Tyler, just have fun, man.
Like, just don't count your steps.
Don't look.
half like just look like you're having fun because that was my biggest regret early on is looking
scared because that was just like one two three and things like that so that's jackson's thing it makes
him look like he's having fun and in the moment and i just think that's like people want to see that
yeah i loved it for a week one i think my biggest takeaway was how comfortable he looked out there
like it was a week one performance he hasn't been doing ballroom all that long but he looked like
he this was so five it looks like he plays baseball and he looks like he plays baseball
and sings and dances at the same time
where it's like you can truly multitask.
It was so effort.
Effortless.
Did you think that a night one elimination
was a little harsh?
No, I kind of like this.
Yeah, I kind of like this setup.
Yeah.
With two going home.
Partly is just like you have to,
like they just decided to go big with the cast
but like with this many couples,
it's just.
Needed to happen.
You just kind of need to do it.
But then it gives a little spice early on.
Yeah.
It's a little added pressure to already
the most scary show.
Tyler afterwards was just like,
we're having Tyler and Sharna on the,
on Tuesday's episode,
so we'll get to check out,
catch up with them.
But he was like,
yeah,
it feels like you're in the,
the rose ceremony up there.
Yeah.
And it really does.
Like that you get so used to just like,
call my name,
call my name.
It's so nerve-wrecking,
especially that week one dance.
What's that like going from like the rehearsals
where like you feel like you got the dance down?
Then all of a sudden you're like on the stage where the lights are bright.
Like,
so you have the day before you do,
the dance three times on the stage with like no one in the audience pretty much like just the people
that work there and you're still learning the dance especially weeks four or five when you only have a
week to learn this this first dance you have three weeks to learn so and then i was told because the cast is so
big they're only getting three hours a day to practice because they just don't have the studio time
and there's this you know when you're practicing it has to be filmed there's just like there's just so many
people so they're learning all of this with much less time and because they have to move so
quickly, like they're already learning their second dance. So it is, it's a lot. Oh, if you're not a dancer,
that's scary. Very scary. So my experience is similar to Connors where like the blocking day,
the day before the show, you have those three opportunities. I messed up all three on like the first
five shows. I would mess up every single one that I'd have my best performance show night.
Tough. So Connor was so nervous. Yeah, you show up. It's like you, it's a new body, so you just
can't think of anything else.
Connor was so nervous because he kept messing up before,
but he showed up on the actual night.
And then sometimes, like, I had my jive,
I did three perfect blockings,
and then I messed up on live shows.
So you don't know what it means.
But yeah, it's nerve-right.
Can you do it enough times before the show, though,
that it should be muscle-membered.
And then you have a dress rehearsal day of the show.
Yep.
So, like, they do the whole show as if it's live.
and then the costumes like restricting?
I feel like some of those would be hard to dance in.
Some of them.
Some of them, but they know what they're doing.
They elongate certain sections, so you have shoulder mobility.
But yeah, when you first put it on, you're like, hey, this needs to be loosened up.
Do you feel like you're watching it through like a different lens now that you've been through it?
For sure.
Like, I was watching with Robert Irwin last night, which was so fun because we're both like sweating for the contestants.
I think our hearts were going
Like we were on stage
But then we're also like we know so much more
Than we did last year
So we had some critique notes
But then so much praise
Because at the end of the day
We're so proud of everybody
For stepping out there and doing it
It's crazy
I love to Chiarmos
I think everyone just assumed
That he was the man
I think everyone assumed that he was gonna go
Like be the first to go
Or he's gonna be maybe the second to go
And then with Whitney being pregnant
But like, well, I don't know.
When we interviewed Whitney, she sort of seemed like she was someone not, like,
planning on going home early.
Maybe that's just, maybe that's his talk.
But, like, he's so funny.
He is.
And, like, I don't care about his dancing.
I just, like, I want.
Well, he can move.
Yeah, he was, he did, he did a, I don't think I can run and slide on my knees like that.
No, he's right out of the gates.
And Whitney is, like, she's a competitor.
Yeah.
She's not going to let a pregnancy stop her, you know.
Like, she's going to last as long as she can in this.
Also, I just, I just, like,
I want that comic relief, especially with all, like, with all these contestants, I don't, you know, I'm on to mix it up.
Yeah.
And I feel like people are going to want, like, there's a distinct difference with Guillermo and the rest of the cast.
And he brings something to the show right now.
And I think there's enough of other people who are like, okay dancers trying to get better.
Yeah.
Or they kind of wash each other out where Guillermo stands out in a way where it's just like, I don't care about his dancing, but he's.
He adds to the show.
He absolutely does.
Absolutely.
You know when you're like, I see what you mean.
It's like when I was looking forward to his dance and his package and that's part of the show.
Yeah.
You think he'll be like the people's champ?
Yeah.
I think he's going to have a run, you know, for sure.
I think he'll go halfway through.
He's being compared to like Andy from last season.
How just the Andy was so loved by everyone.
Yeah, it's an easy comparison for sure.
He's a lovable guy.
Yeah.
And like he seemed like he's really enjoying it, right?
I think that, I think sometimes when they have casted older people,
on the show.
I think there's sometimes
some of them give a,
yeah, man, I don't know.
They just like,
they called and I'll do it,
you know,
but I think Andy and Guillermo
both look like they're like,
yeah, no,
I really want to get better.
I thought his package was so sweet
about like dancing,
you know,
losing some way and dancing
with his wife
where he like,
he looks like he's having fun.
And I think that's the thing
that people are rallying behind
is just like,
let this man like do his thing.
That's why I think,
like,
Guillermo hurt Connor
because they brought
that kind of similar energy.
Yeah.
And, you know, I think as a viewer, that's what I want to see, too, is I just want to see people lean in and give it 100%.
And I think we're seeing that a lot this year.
What do we think of, obviously, by the time you guys listen to this, the women will have danced.
But going in, do you have any?
I was going to ask, is there anyone you're excited to watch or like that you can be surprised by?
I'm excited to see all of them.
It's night one, because you're just kind of like, all right, where are people's baselines?
Yeah, Amber Glenn and Pasha, like, I think that's going to be really impressive right out of the gate.
Sure.
Yeah.
I'm really excited to see Mora and Sierra because they're my friends.
Yeah.
I think they're both going to crush.
So it's going to be competitive.
I think,
I think,
I think,
I think,
I think Mora is going to be good.
Good or bad.
I think she's going to be awesome.
Yeah.
She's got,
she's friends with her dancing partner.
Yep.
So for however,
I feel like there's an advantage there.
Mark's mom.
He's a dance coach.
Mark was also just a genius.
Yeah.
He's like,
knows the show inside and out and he's a competitor. So his choreography, everything is just top-notch.
I think he's going to just be flipping and spinning her around in a way that like, and she's
very charming. And that's where the show keeps going after you dance. You get the mic in your hand
and you show your personality and Moore's personality jumps off the page. So it's, it's going to be
fun to see her right after her dance and see what her take away. It would be interesting Sierra because
obviously she's so popular right now. Obviously, obviously, you know, Sierra massive fan base.
and there's the traitors element, you know,
and those people, you know, like a lot of dancing with the stars.
And I think there's some overlap between those two shows
in terms of their fan bases.
Didn't Ariana win?
She didn't.
She went far.
Yeah, she was a finalist.
But I feel like, was it, was Ariana already the host of Love Island when she was on or no?
No.
No?
Mm-mm.
He was right after Scannibal.
Right after Scannibal?
Mm-hmm.
But she went far.
She was with Pasha.
They almost won.
Jenna Dewan, who's already famously a great dancer,
but I think she's kind of the hairy
It's almost like a disadvantage
If you're Jenna Dewan
She would come out
Again she's if you're listening
She's already she's already dance
Terrible
I think she should come out
And market
And be terrible
No way
Fake an injury or whatever
Because like in her package
She's like I don't know if I can still do this
And I think she should come out night one
Being like
I don't know fuck
I can't
And then every week she just gets marketably better
In a way where it's just like
I don't think you have to
Yeah, I don't think you have to fake that, though, because they do get better throughout the season.
Yeah, but again, Jen is a pro.
She's not a ballroom pro, though.
How much you really think we're going to see a noticeable difference between Harry now and the Harry at the finals versus like Connor Wood or Tyler at the end of the final?
Or like you?
Like, by the time you got to the finals, you were a dancer.
It won't be as much of a gap, but we'll still see a lot of improvement.
And also all the different styles of dance.
Like that's actually what makes-
Yeah, the dances get longer and just the dances itself.
But where she's going to have an advantage is the multiple dances in a week
because it's going to be like muscle memory.
Like it took me so long to learn three dances.
Do you think that the judges might be even a little bit more critical knowing that they have a little
stronger dance background than obviously they would have a gear about?
I mean, with Harry, the judges were like, you know, the notes they give Harry were just like,
what are you saying?
Like, that was perfect.
You know, but they have to, that's part of the scores and the judge's critique is a lot.
It's honestly a favor to Harry.
Yes.
Because then they can like, they can talk, you know, week three or four.
They can be like, oh, that was better.
You know, we gave you that note.
Now you improved.
And like, and the viewer might be like, I just saw another great dance.
You know, like.
I think my biggest takeaway from Harry was if he went out there and was like, yes,
I'm the best.
Then I'm a good dancer, all those things.
And was like too good for the show.
I wouldn't be supportive.
But like, he loves the show.
He's like watching this was a highlight of my year last year.
I'm so excited to be here.
He's excited and I like,
I want to support that.
Yeah.
Oh,
and he's into it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
How do we feel like Julia Stiles?
Save the Last Dance?
I saw her last night.
I thought it was cool.
It's,
it is cool, right?
It's really cool.
Oh, we totally skipped over Hanson too, Taylor.
What do you think is dance?
I think he was just really charming and in,
he's just a performer.
Yeah.
You know, and the judges seem to really like him.
I think he has a lot of room to grow.
Oh, yeah.
It's cool seeing him out there.
I was a big fan growing up.
Tyler Cameron, third highest score.
Yeah.
Good for him.
Did you vote?
No, but I did post a link for other people to vote.
I was in the audience.
Which I feel like is more...
I feel like it's more valuable than one text.
I was like, however thousands of many people.
It's 10 texts.
right right right
I may have forgotten too so
oh my gosh
if if because it's the fall
because they're gonna have like a Halloween right
they'll have a Halloween theme right
or they'll also have a Disney theme or both
and if Tyler if you're listening
I need Tyler Cameron to be Mr. Incredible
why
like his broad shoulders and tights
he's a unit he will look just like
Mr. Incredible in the best possible way
that will be an amazing dance
Dylan who were you for Disney night
I did cars so I guess I was technically
the rusty truck because Daniel was
When it was Moniqueu
Mader?
Yeah I knew the producers hated me when they made me
Peronio
You went as Pinocchio
I was like every every
Bachelor hot guy is like Tarzan
or some prints
let's make this motherfucker a little wooden boy
My best dance
I'm a real boy
They're like yeah it's Disney week
You're gonna be Pinocchio
Tyler said he
He grew up going to like
Dance classes and stuff
But he didn't want to admit it
He took a dance classing in college
Oh that's the extent of it
Yeah
Because he was bad at school
Scratch the hitch
Oh okay
His football coach just signed that to him
So he could get back of the way
Okay, that was like when I took drawing.
I took drawing 101 when I was at O'State.
Because we just needed electives.
Yeah, it doesn't really count.
That's cool, though.
What other women do we have?
Giata de Laurentis.
Oh, she broke her toe.
She broke her toe.
Yeah, I saw that.
Giata.
Like dancing?
Who's the female couple, the two girls?
Sarah Jane Nader and Haley Bills.
They're going to be great.
Yeah.
I'm worried for Sarah Jane.
Why?
Because, listen, I think Connor was at a disadvantage.
Obviously, you know, he's most known, obviously,
is being the very supportive partner to Whitney.
Right.
Sarah is obviously, you know, part of the Nader sisters, you know,
but like part of the group that is the Nader Sisters
with Brooks being kind of the focal point.
And again, such, so I think people are still learning
about who Sarah Jane is.
And with such a quick turnaround, early elimination,
one night to go.
Like, I could see if Sarah Jane, you know,
survives tonight, I could see her doing very well.
You know, like, just give her a chance for people to kind of, like, you know, get to know
and fall for her.
But if last night's similar to the night before, like, I think the reason why Connor went
home is because, again, he just probably has the smallest, organic, natural, like,
fan base going in where I think Connor could have, again, done very, like, had people gotten
to know his charming self or, like, he could have built his own fans.
Right.
And how much do we think plays a part that their partners are the newest ones?
And the audience doesn't really know.
Yeah, the next gen pro girl.
I have more confidence in Haley.
I think Haley is such a good pro already.
She was raised in this program.
Like, she knows this, like, the back of her hand.
And I think she's going to take care of Sarah Jane today.
We love Sarah Jane.
I hope she goes far.
I hope I'm wrong.
I'm not worried.
This is in hindsight, so we'll see.
I'm not worried about her week one.
What are the pros and cons to just two girls as a couple?
because I feel like there's certain lifts you can't do
but I feel like there might be certain like
when it's just two girls
there's probably certain things you can do that you can't do with
maybe like a stiff dude or something.
Yeah, I honestly don't.
I don't know.
I would think like the frame stuff would be harder
like the tango and that stuff
but then all the cha-chas and Latin songs
I feel like will look mesmerizing.
Didn't Jojo have a female partner?
How far did she go?
Oh nice.
She was a finalist.
Yeah.
And she was with Jenna and Jenna is
Haley's aunt, right?
Yeah.
Oh, great.
So that makes sense.
Just two dudes?
No, I don't think that's two dudes.
That's shocking almost.
I've never done that.
It's like those, that could be an athletic dance.
Speaking of athletes, we have Amber Glenn, the Olympic figure skater.
She's going to be so good.
Oshah.
She'll be awesome.
Well, we'll find out.
I think that's going to be like the reaction from Ezra this first week.
I think everyone's going to see Amber and be like, oh my God.
Yeah.
Well, we will definitely find out.
Anything new with you before we let you go?
I know you got a lot stuff coming up.
I don't know if you can talk about it.
No, I have, I shot that Netflix show, The Squid Games.
Okay.
So that one's coming out beginning of next year.
You're excited for us to see it?
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I'm excited to see it.
No, I look, I love those type of shows.
Yeah.
Playing games as an adult is the most fun thing.
I know.
And we have like the mob coming out on Disney.
Yeah.
I'm ruined for all these shows.
It's, you know.
The mob?
It's like another comedy.
Harry Jussies in that one.
Harry's in there.
Demi is also on it.
Are you still doing everything's a competition with Boston Rob?
We're on a little hiatus right now, but we still plan on filming more.
Yeah, we released our last ones from Vegas, which are fun.
And you're happy.
And how are you and Courtney?
Yeah, we're doing really good.
We're really good.
Parker Posey's the host of the mob.
Oh, yes, yes.
Love her in White Lotus.
Oh, we didn't tell anyone, but Parker Posey was the name we were going to name one of our daughters.
We ran it because we were thinking about we have Iris Parker.
Parker's, my mom's made a name.
And I've always thought about Parker.
And so, and then we were like, oh, Parker first name, but we like an alliteration.
And we're like, oh, Parker Posey is like awesome.
But it felt like that, you know, it felt like you can't do that.
And they're like, oh, what if we asked Parker Posey if she would, we kind of joked around it?
And then we went to a Netflix party and she was there.
And we ran into her.
And so we asked her.
And she's like, for sure, do it.
And it felt like we should do it.
And then we just didn't.
He had approval.
It felt serendipitous.
It's always good to see you, buddy.
No, thanks for having me.
Always good.
That was fun to watch that show last night.
I mean, going back tonight.
You are going to go back tonight?
Yeah, I have to have back to the family.
But we hope to come back.
I want to make it to a dedication night.
Yeah.
Hopefully.
That's always a fun of it.
I hope Tyler's still there.
I feel like he.
I think he will.
I think he's going to get real.
I think he's going to get better and better.
And I think there's going to be certain dance styles that fit him.
Because he has something that.
everybody else doesn't like that strength and masculinity like once he can do a lift and stuff he's
gonna blow us away with some of the dance does that take a while to that i feel like that that takes a while
to learn the lips and stuff yeah they're they're definitely hard even for how strong he is because
it's not like bodybuilding it's not like a direct uh linear pattern it's a lot of weird muscles you
haven't used so it's still tough even for someone like him but he's so tall it's gonna look
magnificent if he pulls it off.
Well, they are on Tuesday's episode to talk all about the upcoming week.
It's always good to see you.
Thank you.
Anything you want to plug?
I'm hosting the after-party show with Robert Irwin.
That's why I'm going back today.
That will already have aired, so hopefully I did all right.
I'm sure you crush it.
Up next, we have Mitrehe from the hit movie, The Best of the Best,
streaming now on Netflix.
And here she is.
Welcome to the Vile Files.
Thank you. Thanks for having me.
Well, how's your day going so far? Pretty busy?
It's been busy, but, you know, I try, like, not to complain because, you know, these days are, like, long, but then there's those days where you don't have work.
Yeah.
And you're like, oh, cool, right, I'm unemployed again, the life of an actor.
And then you yearn for the days like this.
So I ain't complaining.
Well, the best of the best is a fun coming-of-age story.
I love a good coming-of-age movie.
I'm a little older, so, like, movies can't hardly wake come to my.
like mean girls obviously and then they give like super bad do you have obviously I'm sure best the best
is up there but growing up did you have like a favorite coming of age movie of your own 21 jump street
21 jump street nice 21 jump street great poll thank you also great friend story there you go I was saying
to my director lena con shout out um all I was trying to do is channel channing tatum okay because
I want to have the comedic timing of Channing Tatum in 21 Jump Street and have the dance skills of
Channing Tatum in Magic Mike.
Does the sequel hold up?
What, 22?
Yeah.
22 is great.
Don't see about 22.
I love it.
And honestly, I know they're making a new one.
I don't know if you saw this.
A 23?
Yeah.
You know, it's funny.
It's funny that you say that.
I literally thought of that movie today.
My two and a half year old daughter is starting like preschool tomorrow.
Okay.
And my wife got her a backpack and it says River Rose on it.
that's her name and she put it on with two shoulders and I know how in 21 John Street I was like is she
gonna go one shoulder is she gonna go two shoulders he's a two strapper yeah so are you a two strapper or
you a one strapper uh I was a two strapper uh but what like when I was in elementary school it was
one strap I was like I'm gonna you know I was a one strap all the way through okay I can't lie one
strap all the way through were you a part of the one strap backpack era that was actually a thing
the whole yeah it was the thing or the thing
Cross.
That was a thing.
I had a phase.
I ain't go a lot.
Is that what you had?
I had a phase, junior year, rocked the one strap, intentional backpack.
There you go.
There you go.
I respect that.
Need the cool points.
You went to university in Canada.
Yeah.
So obviously this movie is about two students at UCLA.
Is the university life similar, the same as a like college campus life?
Are there some distinct differences?
Well, I mean, I might have me the most, like, the best reliable source to tell you,
what university in like Canada is like just because I really went in just for class and I left.
I wasn't trying to do anything like socially. This was after I started acting and, you know,
got a little bit of fame kind of situation. So I was really just in it for the degree. So I have a
very boring university experience. But what I will say is the fraternity, sorority life,
Canada versus the states. I'm speaking at least just for Ontario.
It's not nearly as big. I used to think all the time when I was watching movies that the frat life and like those frat party scenes and movies were all kind of fake and a little bit heightened.
Okay.
And I went to a USC frat party when I was filming a friend of mine, actually a cast member from Never Have I ever took me.
And I was like, this is insane. This is wild. How is this real? And how is this legal?
So, yeah, I would say it is quite different.
I think the states, everything is bigger.
Okay.
How long have you been acting?
Because you had like a very serious degree that was not like, it wasn't theater.
It wasn't like film.
Yeah.
So I've been acting since I was 17.
Okay.
Just right out of high school.
I fell into that.
My original degree was going to be in theater.
But then I deferred school because I was going to work on a show.
on Netflix, never have I ever, Mindy Kaling.
And I was like, okay, you know what, let me defer school
and put it to the side, but I didn't want to go back
and pursue something, but now I was given
an awesome opportunity to go to school
for something I'm just passionate about.
And that was human rights and equity studies
with a lot of focus on indigenous studies.
So that's pretty cool.
I always say like, you really don't need the degree
to know about human rights.
Like you just pick up a book, start reading, read an article online beyond the headline, watch a documentary, talk to people, go outside and just listen for two fucking seconds.
I'd say that.
You don't need the degree to be an expert in human rights.
Just know your constitution or your charter of rights and freedoms over here in Canada.
There you go.
But nevertheless, it's still like, it's pretty cool that like you had this huge success and never have ever ever.
And just regardless of what your degree was, it was important for you to go back and like your secondary education and kind of...
Oh, yeah, but I'm not going to lie to you.
A part of it, thank you.
But a lot of it of me doing that was to also have the ego trip of saying, right, I did film a hit Netflix TV show that is seen all around the world.
And I've done movies.
And I also got a degree.
And I can happily say whenever, especially in the Asian community, when people say, wow, you're so ambitious.
you're exactly who I want my kids to be.
Like, you're such an overachiever, which I am,
but I love being an overachiever that gets the ability to say,
hey, I have a degree if that matters to you,
but I can happily say it doesn't matter to me
because of the secondary, not for everyone.
Don't waste your money if you don't have to.
I appreciate the honesty.
When I was in college, I took geology
because I thought it was rocks for jocks,
and it was very hard.
There you go.
Yeah, geology,
that's actually, yeah, not easy at all.
You know, well, I guess I wasn't smart enough not to know that.
So, you know, what are you going to do?
In this movie, your character and her friend kind of have this moment where like they're
kind of keeping secrets from their parents.
Yeah.
In your life, you know, I have three young daughters under three.
So I have a few years before I have to worry about this stuff.
But I'm curious, I aspire to have an open relationship with my children, you know,
my daughters.
I hope there's lines of open communication.
and I hope they don't want to hide things from me.
Hopefully I get that right.
Do you have any tips from me as someone who recently left university,
kind of went through a period of like, maybe you did,
maybe you didn't hide something to your parents,
but like, yeah, do you have any personal story like that
and any advice to me to how to make sure that my daughters want to, you know,
keep it real with me?
I think when I was younger, I would keep a lot more for my parents,
specifically my mom because I just was like, oh, she's going to get mad at me,
like she's going to judge me, she's going to be disappointed,
whatever. And then I will never forget the day I was in my senior year of high school, the day my mom said to me, I can't wait for you to actually give me the chance to be the villain that you constantly assume that I am.
Okay. Wow.
I know. And I was like, okay, I'm 17 years old. Whoa there. But basically, like, she was right. I was constantly just assuming she's going to get mad at me for this, so I'm not going to tell her. She's going to be disappointed in me, so I'm not going to tell her.
And now, like, my mom's one of my bestest friends.
Like, truly, she knows everything about me, and there's no secrets because she was right.
I was villainizing her before she even had the chance to be a villain.
And I think, you know, when you grow up, naturally you're going to have secrets.
You're going through life and keeping things to yourself because, you know, kids want privacy.
But the more you can, as a parent, I guess, be non-judgmental and emphasize to your kids, like, hey,
I promise I'm not going to be mad.
I'm only going to be upset if you don't tell me.
Like, that's what's going to break my heart if you don't tell me.
I think that goes a long way.
Thank you for that advice.
Well, as a girl, dad, I feel like you'll be all right here in that advice.
She was just beefing with her moms.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Honestly, it goes same for my father, by the way.
Same for my father because honestly, I was just always disregarded as for him.
Like, he didn't really like care.
Like, oh, he doesn't care anyway.
Like, it's fine.
Whatever.
He doesn't have an opinion on this anyway.
Does he now?
He, oh.
Seems like you're doing a lot.
No, my dad, definitely, like, he's just as supportive and knows all of my secrets,
just like my mom.
Like, my family's very, very open.
I think that's also because I don't really know how to not be anyone but myself.
And my parents raised me to be that way.
Okay.
Awesome.
Yeah.
Everyone says you're excellent on social media, especially TikTok.
I don't know if that's true.
Well, the streets say you are.
But, and I love your humility, but do you have one, maybe three?
Social media icks, like, you know, things that you see that you, people stop doing it,
you're just like, this is not cool, it fucks up your aura.
Yes.
Yes.
Like what pisses me off on social media?
Yeah.
What do people need to stop doing?
You want only one to three?
But give me all you got.
Give me all you got.
I just don't want to put too much pressure on you by giving me like, give me 20.
No, I'm thinking off the top of my head.
I really, really.
hate the people who do
big halls
of like, this is the nonsense
that I bought today of shit
that I don't fucking need and is all
just landfill and garbage.
I hate those.
So much. You hate people's stuff.
All right. I love it.
The PR halls. Look at all the shit
I get. It's like the
specifically the PR halls
that are, or even like the PR
halls. There's like these people that just go
shopping and that's their thing. And they
just buy like 10 bags.
I'm like, why do you need that?
Who is this for?
And it's just the adrenaline rush of shopping that audience is like, and I get it,
it's the engagement, like, you know, bait.
I hate the rage bait.
Okay.
I hate the rage bait.
Don't do it.
As an actor, I hate the rage bait or like the engagement bait that people do about lying about
an actor or a celebrity just to get the clicks and get people saying,
what?
No way.
Would you hear this?
That's not true.
They just are.
Sure.
around. I've seen people do that with,
never have I ever,
saying like, season five is on its way.
Netflix just announced it.
I've actually commented on those TikToks being like,
stop the cat.
You're in the comments? Like you'd be engaging?
Good for you. I love that.
Sometimes. And you know what? Guess what?
They got my engagement, I guess.
They got me. They got me.
That plus also people who try to be too nonchalant
about their interests
and like just dog on other people.
They're just trying to be cool for what.
That's just a general society thing.
Like, I have all my weird hobbies and interests.
And not even weird.
They're just my interests.
Like what you like.
Care about what you care about.
Like, you don't need to be coy.
Don't try to be cool.
Just like what you like.
Is it true?
Another one of those interests expands to Twitch.
Yeah.
Oh, there you go.
That's my next question.
Whoa, segue.
Yeah.
I used to play Madden, the video get football game when I was back in college.
I hadn't played in 20 years.
And I joined the league recently.
And I had to make a Twitch.
account. So like I am I am streaming on Twitch people. You like it? It makes me feel alive that I get to
compete with some of my friends. You know, it's just like I get to compete, Jimmy. I get to compete.
Anyways, you're on Twitch. What are the games that you like to play? Why do you like it? And for we are
a relationship podcast. There's a lot of girlfriends out there who really hate their partners playing
video games. So what advice do you have for people out there dating people who are passionate about
video games and how can they make that that relationship coexist with a healthy relationship,
both with video games and with their romantic partners.
Okay.
First of all, the video games that I like to play, I'm a big Nintendo, like, girly.
Okay.
Yeah, you are.
Mario Kart.
What do you mean?
Yeah, you are.
I love it.
Super Smash Bros.
Like, yes.
Super Smash Bros.
Ultimate is the objectively best Super Smash Bros.
No ball.
Who says it's melee is speaking out of nostalgia.
I am one of those people.
It's what I grew up on.
The GameCube is my console of choice always.
But Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is legitimately, objectively, the best version and iteration.
But I digress.
I'm a Nintendo girly.
Nintendo doesn't make me a Nintendo ambassador and put me in their commercials for no reason.
See, that's something I will actually not be humble about.
That is my breath.
That is a flex.
I got my whole family into a Nintendo commercial.
Pretty awesome.
That's awesome.
But what I will say is for,
people who are in a relationship where somebody really likes video games and maybe the other person
doesn't, I always try to tell people who, like my friends who aren't really as into video games,
that like video games are kind of like movies and TV shows. There's genres. And I think,
because I'm also a big, like, anime fan, anime is just like a medium. There's so many different
genres of anime out there. And saying like, oh, I don't like movies, but you really,
really just meaning you don't like action films. You're disregarding comedies, horrors,
sci-fis, mystery. Like, do you really hate movies? But you can't say, like, or I guess
I've met some people actually who say, I don't like music. I'm like, you just don't like
country music, babes. But you might like rap or like, you know, pop or whatever. But actually,
I do know some people who have said to me they don't like music and they terrify me. And I think
that's a big red flag. All to say, I think there's a video game out there for everyone.
There's a video game out there for everyone. And you just got to be willing.
to find the game that you guys both can bond over.
And then also, also, especially, you know,
for the guys and the girls who really like their video games,
put down the controller once in a while and remember,
they just might not ever be as passionate about video games as you.
If that's a deal breaker for you,
then you need to accept that and move on.
If it's not a deal breaker,
you need to meet them halfway
and learn how to have balance
because being in a relationship is compromised.
I love that.
What's the best dating video game
for maybe one person
who's like super not into it?
I got it, but I want to hear what you have to say.
Again, why is it not Mario Kart?
It's not Mario Kart.
It's not.
Especially if someone who's not,
like I think honestly,
as someone who's very good at Mario Kart,
actually I'm not very good
because my Twitch chat tends to destroy me,
but they're like heavy sweats.
As someone who's good at Mario Kart,
whenever I'm playing my friends
who are not that good,
I can feel a little bit of their spirit die.
Yeah, no, yeah, you're right.
You can...
It feels like a shame ritual, you know?
Like, let's not do that to them.
But I think, like, the common one, the easy one is, like, it takes two.
It's a good, fun, like, story actually about a relationship that's breaking and how they need to compromise and communicate and listen to each other.
And then by the same, you know, game company, the same devs,
there's split fiction, which is another two co-op game and is the kind of game that you can only
play with another person. You can't play solo. Or if you want some cozy, chill, calm thing,
play like co-op Stardew Valley. That's your vibe.
Start a little farm sim. And if you're a grinder, like video game kind of person, you can
minimax all of your crops and your money. And then the other person can just care about
running around town and collecting whole items. There's so many. There's so many options.
So also Nintendo dogs.
Explain.
Explain.
It's a wholesome, happy endeavor for you and your partner to tackle together and raise a dog family together.
I feel like you are a romantic at heart.
That is the most romantic at heart, hopeless romantic answer you could give.
I'm a lover boy.
Yeah, it's giving.
It's giving lover boy because I'm like, my like logical brain is like, that's not a co-op game dog.
Like how are you going to?
Dog.
Hey, no point.
How are you going to play it together?
Like, who's going to pick which dog?
What if they fight?
I miss Coco.
Coco's probably dead.
I should probably check back in on Coco, but it's been about a decade.
Damn.
No, that's real.
Bring back Nintendo dogs, though.
They should bring back Nintendo dogs, for real.
I appreciate you taking the time.
The movie is best of the best.
It comes out September 18th on Netflix.
It's a fun movie.
Anyone who loves a coming of age movie is going to love this.
I appreciate you.
Thanks for taking the time.
And congratulations on everything.
