Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Valfiles Reality Recap Edition.
I'm your host Nick, joined by my wonderful Dunning wife.
Thank you.
I'm here.
We also got Jimmy and Susie with us today.
How are you guys doing?
What were you guys up to this weekend?
How's it going?
I had a great weekend.
Honestly, I feel like I caught up with the girls.
I had like back-to-back brunch.
I had like a brunch at 10 and then a late lunch at one.
Oh, my gosh.
Two different groups of girlfriends or it was like one a date?
Yeah, it was two different, yeah, two different friends we were catching up.
And I was like, I can't, you know.
What stopped you from combining everyone together?
Yeah.
One was a bachelor friend.
One was like L.A. moved here, became like one of my first friends, separate groups.
And honestly, they would have been fine.
But I feel like tea needed to be spilled.
And I didn't want to, I didn't want anyone to hold back.
You know what I mean?
I wanted full tea from both sides.
Are you a bottomless mimosas girlie like at brunch?
Are you into that kind of outing?
I would be, but I get headaches.
But like that is my vibe, you know?
But like bottomless tequila?
I always feel left out.
It's like such a girls thing.
Like girls always go for bottomless mimosas and I never get invited to those.
Well, we found out last night I got an email from Rivers Teacher that there was no school this morning because of parent teacher conferences.
And it literally reminded me of when I was a kid and,
why my mom was so strict on me not playing hooky because it's like, it really throws off the whole day.
I was like, oh no, she doesn't have school tomorrow?
What are we going to do?
What's hooky?
You've never heard that term?
You don't know what hooky is?
You never heard of hooky?
I know what a hickie is.
No, it's when you skip school.
You like act like you're sick or you like play hooky.
I never heard of that.
Beres Bueller's Day Off.
Yeah, I know the movie, but I know that was called hookying.
Yeah.
It's not hooky ing.
It's playing hooky.
Oh, it's like in Britain where they say I'm taking the piss or I'm cracking the
I guess.
I guess one of those.
Jimmy, what did you call a, when you like had sleepovers with like your cousins or something
and y'all all like laid a bunch of blankets on the floor and pillows on the floor?
Like, what did you call that?
Sleepover.
No.
What did you call like the blankets like that you laid down on the floor?
The floor is lava?
I don't know.
I don't have names for these things.
Can I say what I'm thinking?
Yes.
I'm thinking like fort, like four or like.
Nick?
No idea.
Yeah, where you're getting that.
A palette?
A palette?
A pallet.
A pallet?
Really?
Whatever heard?
I think that's like a southern thing.
Palate to me for like blankets on the floor feels like Japanese.
Like when I lived in Japan, we would like put a pallet on the floor like on our work breaks and we would like take naps.
I love that vibe.
That Japanese minimalist kind of like you just sit on the floor and eat.
That's so sick.
Listen, the South, the South be stealing stuff.
You know, I wouldn't put it past them.
But no, yeah, like a bunch of blankets and pillows on the floor.
We went out Saturday night.
Word.
What did you guys do?
I know.
We got some drinks.
At 5 o'clock.
Five o'clock.
We went out at 5.
Babies, twins were sleeping.
River had just woken up.
My mom is here with us.
And so we were like, should we go get like a happy hour drink?
And we did.
And the baby stayed asleep the whole time.
River watched a movie.
We were five minutes away.
Back on, back on the town, back on Broadway.
Did you guys like get cute?
cute cuteish yeah no and now I put on perfume she smelled like sex I told I told her she smelled like when
we first met and like when she got off a plane I'd pick her up and we'd be like we're gonna go out of
some sex oh you can't say that can't say that yes he can we can't keep this fire alive I haven't
worn perfume in so long because of the babies I don't want them smelling like perfume I
totally like babies so I haven't worn it in forever and then I was like you know what we're going
out they're sleeping when we get home I'm gonna take a shower so let's just spray it
it up. Yeah. And I did, babes. I love that. It's like, it's actually so special to hear you guys
building nostalgia. Like, when you were talking about them, like, wait, that's actually so cute to,
like, have nostalgia with another person and be like, wait, this reminds me of when we first met,
or this reminds me of like this era in our relationship. Like, that's so cute. I get reminded
of that, like, every single day because I think I've talked about, have I talked about this
before, the Dr. Bronner soap. Oh, yeah. Nick had this Dr. Bronner soap. I had never heard of it before him.
and he had this Dr. Brunner soap
when he lived in Venice
in his apartment,
two-bed and tiny little apartment
and in his shower
was there's like a small window
he always had it open.
It's always freezing in Venice
because he's like by the beach.
And so I have this like vivid memory.
Every time I smell it's like eucalyptus.
I smell eucalyptus
and I can feel like the cold air
coming in from the window
in his shower in Venice.
It like takes me back every time
I smell this body wash.
They say a smell is
what smells the sense that's more most connected to memory?
That makes sense.
What do you do, Jimmy?
What I do?
I got roped into a couple extra nights in New York City.
I think I saw that.
Yeah, yeah.
I had to do what I had to do.
Did you have a good time?
I did.
And then my flight got canceled back to Chicago,
so I had an extra Saturday night in New York, no biggie.
And now I'm finally here.
So we made it.
How were your cats when you got back home?
Oh, very affectionate.
they missed me for sure they're actually hanging out with me right here because it's been too long i think
they have separation anxiety they really tweak out when i'm gone for too long nice well we got a jam-packed
episode lined up for you today sharna and tyler cammer from dancing with the stars are with us this
episode to talk about their first dance of the week and what we can expect tonight on dancing
with the stars uh how they're feeling about their competitors this season uh what we have to look
forward to, assuming Tyler continues on. It's a great conversation with obviously our good friends.
Excited for you to hear that conversation. Really excited about what's in store for them this season.
And just also hear about how they're feeling about the rest of their competitors. It's a jam-packed
lineup. I think we still have how many couples left? A lot. And we obviously have an episode tonight.
So Tyler and Sharner are with us. We also have Madeline from the Trader's New Blood.
She is the first to be eliminated. Obviously, we will talk about Traders New Blood. We also
have the cast has been released for what now what are we this traders are we just calling it traders traders
celebrities yeah anyway uh we have it's a jam pack cast including people like brawin uh we got
joey from the bachelor we have uh craig conover christin chinovith lots of discuss when it comes to
traders uh i don't did you guys see the uh patrick clancy uh 16 minute interview last night am i the only
we saw that no what what was it like it was it was
It was, I mean, obviously, just very sad.
I mean, for all the crazy discourse that's going around this case, I mean, it was my first
time actually hearing from him.
Obviously, he's been wrapped up in this case.
Many people have even thought that he was the perpetrator in this, which feels ridiculous.
It felt even more ridiculous to listen to the interview.
But, yeah, honestly, it was just very sad.
My heart went out to him, just kind of hearing him talk about this.
I think, you know, I just, I think it's a very courageous of him for, you know, he has
forgiven his ex-wife and he seemed like I just couldn't imagine being in the position that he was but
he is yeah it was just really sad I mean it was it was very sad to hear how he because one of his children
didn't pass away right away he made it to the hospital and he died he passed away four days later
so he talked about how he spent those four days with his son and writing letters to his
other children had passed his son died in his arms
when he finally passed away,
which again, like just information
when following the case
he just didn't really hear about.
It's hard to watch that video
and think about how many people
who have attacked this man
and followed crazy theories
about his involvement
in this terrible thing.
The only thing, you know,
for all the people who think he did it,
the biggest question I have is,
like, wouldn't Lindsay have said anything,
you know?
Like, where, wouldn't she have been like,
hey, maybe I didn't do this.
You know what I'm saying?
At no point has she pointed the finger in the direction of her husband.
Anyway, it was just very sad, but my heart goes obviously out to him and his family and
what he's been through.
It was really, you know, it was very heartbreaking when the interview asked if, because he
was like, I forgave her.
And he asked, has she asked for your forgiveness?
And he kind of thought about it.
And he kind of sadly said no.
Which again, I think she's just in a very bad.
place and very sick. I think if you have still doubts about his involvement, you should watch
that interview. It's hard to watch that interview and not have anything but sympathy for that
guy. But yeah, it was a touching interview. I'm glad they gave him an opportunity to speak out as well
in a big platform, you know? Yeah. I just have zero faith in people that care to actually know the
truth. Like if you took the stance that ease the reason that this happened. Like I just have zero faith in
people to like go out of their way to list to the other side.
People like the sensationalized story and to, yeah, I think a lot of people were more interested
in just having, it sounds sick to say, but yeah, having a take, having fun with it or whatever,
you want to call it.
Susie, you weren't here last week. Do you, do you hate Cindy Sweeney like all the other ladies
out there?
I wasn't here last week. No, I don't, I feel like somewhat neutral. I don't know that much about
her, but I obviously know the sports stuff. My take on it is that.
unfortunately, like, for everyone that it's making angry and, like, people are talking about it,
I'm like, you guys are doing exactly what she wants you to do.
Like, that's how I feel where I'm like, okay, maybe it's a dumb ad.
I don't know.
I don't know what you want to call it.
Maybe it's like a tongue-in-cheek ad that's, like, a little bit, like, eye roll, whatever.
But I'm like, everyone who's making videos saying, let's stop talking about Sidney's Sweetie and talk about X, Y, and Z.
I'm like, wait, you're literally promoting what she's wanting.
You're literally doing what she's wanting you guys to do.
Where if we just didn't talk about it, it would just go, we would universally make her campaign fail.
If that's what your goal is, it's like we don't talk about it.
The irony, though, is if Sidney Sweeney was a man doing this, she wouldn't be getting the hate from her peers like she's getting.
And I just think that's ironic to think about what she's getting hate for because like she's making all the money.
she's the one empowered making these decisions.
She is doing it for herself.
And I thought if you have, you know, if you're going to sell sex, now you're doing it for you
anymore.
I saw, I saw an interview with Holly Madison, one of the three kind of playmates, you know,
that was kind of whatever that show was called.
And they were just talking to how well they don't fuck a Sydney, Sweeney, because they
don't think she's a girl's girl.
And I was just like, what does that even mean anymore?
And here you have Holly Madison.
who was part of this era under the wing of Hugh Hefner,
one of the most probably miscazinistic men ever, right?
And they, you know, they've obviously survived that period of time.
But, like, this was a period of time where they were,
they didn't have their own agency, right?
They were selling their bodies and Hugh was benefiting from it.
And now Cindy Sweeney's doing something similar,
but not, but independently of men.
And she has, like, she has,
ownership in this company that she is promoting and she is selling to a target audience, men.
And I'm just wondering why everyone's hating on her business acumen.
And again, if she was a man, she wouldn't be getting hate like this, which is ironic given the conversation.
Like I have to be honest, I'm not well versed.
I don't know anything about her business.
Is it betting?
Is it a betting business?
Like money?
It's a sports betting app where the customer is a horny.
Bro, right?
It's kind of giving Robin Hood a little bit where I'm like, we're taking from the men.
Like, yeah, she's taking money from horny, stupid men and putting it in her pocket.
And she is marketing to these men for a, for a company that my understanding, she has now
ownership in.
And she is just cashing in.
If I could give her.
And she's doing something.
Yeah.
A little bit of advice.
I would just be like, let's, let's now circle back and invest in women.
Like that would be the thing to do is to take what you've earned from this and be like, let's go to our public school system and create some programs to help advance women in STEM.
Or like do something big for women.
Why is that Cindy Sweeney's responsibility?
It totally isn't, but I'm just saying from the perspective as like of a woman.
Like if I saw like whenever I see women doing cool things for women, I'm like, hell yeah, I will buy whatever product you're selling.
Like I'm just, I just am pro supporting the.
advancement of everybody, but obviously women because I'm a woman. So if she were to do that,
I think women would really respect that. And I think who doesn't love an entrepreneur that's
giving back? I mean, look at Dolly Parton, who did so much for everybody and for women. And I'm like,
if she wants people to rally, if she wants to be a girl's girl, that's a way to get the girls
on your team. Isn't she selling like women's sports? Isn't it about betting on women's sports?
No, no, no. It's not. It's just sports in general.
The sports betting app, I guess any women can certainly go to the sports bidding app and place
a bet.
No, no, no, no.
Not, no.
The sports themselves on the betting app, is it women's sports?
I imagine you can bet on any sport.
But the targeted audience is men.
It's like football bros.
No, I'm sure that the audience is men.
And she did a photo shoot doing the thing.
Because I see that all of the women, all of the female athletes who are so upset is because
she's like representing.
That's the thing.
She's not representing.
women's sports. She is just cosplaying
and men... Was she like
using her football to literally like cover herself?
She's wearing sports paraphernalia.
She's doing the thing like, Jimmy and I talked
about this unplus. Like for
since the beginning of time, like you
pull open an old
playboy. Like you had
playboy models and models
in Maxa magazine like wearing
sports jerseys and like it's
to appeal to the men, young men
oh, you know, had a poster of a
a model like
holding a tennis racket or holding a football.
The Miley Cyrus, Michael Jordan music video jersey.
Yeah.
They're just appealing.
It has nothing to do with women's sports.
I have another idea for her.
Let's get women into betting and let's do a photo shoot where men were like sexualizing men.
And like they're holding the football in front of like their stuff.
You know what I mean?
And like let's just like.
That'd be hilarious.
You get dudes to hold like pom-poms and cover their privates.
And like that would be such a power move.
Yeah.
But men wouldn't care.
Yeah.
Like the difference is the guys
I think would be like
Bro get your bag
I don't know I don't know
They might troll you a little bit
I think they would get trolled
I think if a guy did a shoot like that
Like if a guy got glam
And then literally did a shoot
Where he was holding a football in front of his crotch
The guys would troll the shit out of that man
Don't I was a difference between trolling and yeah
There's a difference between like messing with your buddy
And teasing him
And canceling somebody
And calling them like dangerous to the entire
gender. I will say I do think that women in sports are like I am so like we've come so far that I'm like
I don't think Sidney Swinney's ad is like going to set us back if that's what people are saying.
Just because I'm like we can't give we shouldn't give anybody that power. You know what I mean?
But like interesting Natalie last week said and you pointed out that she is playing Kathy from Euphora,
which is like yeah, that's a good point. But like back to like if men were doing it, like, you know,
an actor who played Batman or a superhero and they go to Comic-Con and they lean into the character
that they've played and make money from it, right? Like they make, you still have a-
Comic-Con is like a set. Whatever. And what I'm saying, Tyler, Taylor-Lotner is still making
money from the fact that he was a wolf 20 years ago. And he's still leaning into that character.
And he's still leaning into like the fandom that is people who are fans of this character he played.
And yeah, she played this highly sexualized person, but like she's this leaning into a character
and taking the money from all these guys
who want to believe that Cindy Sweeney
is this character, which she's not,
but that is something that actors have done
since the beginning of time to lean into this character
post-playing that character
because people are just fans
and they want to believe
that they're not actually this person,
they're this character they play.
And she's just leaning into that
and making money for herself.
The only thing that doesn't make it so black and white
to me is the historical context.
What is the context?
Women have had to appease the male
gaze for eternity essentially, like based on everything, how the world was built is built by men
and women having to appease men. That's the only thing that doesn't make it black and white
and why I understand why women are infuriated by it. But why don't they infuriated with women on
on only fans or like, you know, it's just like if that's where I don't get where we draw the line
there, why one is okay and why one isn't.
Because I guess they're the, their audience on only fans, like we don't know what they're
audience. We can assume it's mostly the same type of men who are the horny guys sitting at home
can't get played themselves. The double lives is more, I'm sure that I'm sure they have a broad
spectrum of fans, but I think it's predominantly men. And they're, they're selling their bodies
and sex to these men. But the difference is, is now they have ownership and agency over their
choices and they're the ones making the money. And they're no longer having to share it with like men
And, you know, like, you know, porn stars back in the day.
It was just a bunch of men running the industry.
And, like, the women stars were making pennies on the dollar.
You know, like, it's, you know.
Like, if Sidney were to, like, get her bag and then, like, take all this money she took
from the guys and then actually do the Robin Hood thing where she invests in, like, women-owned
businesses, boom, power play.
That's what I think.
She sees the long-term playing this and she knows how provocative is.
She understands her market value.
So she's just going to, this is an infinite money glitch for her.
Hopefully, in like a decade, she decides.
give it all back to women's businesses or something.
She has to give it all back to women's businesses.
Why can't she just be...
Maybe not all, but just like a little bit just to show us that like,
yo, you hear us?
Like, you're on our side, at least a little bit.
I don't think anyone has to do anything with their money.
Like, I don't believe that, but I do believe that...
Like, on one...
I don't know how to describe it exactly, but it's kind of like if you want...
I don't know if you...
It's like karma.
Like, I just believe in karma.
I believe in, like, being a good person.
So through my belief system with that, I'm like, Sidney, if you want to, if you want to exploit yourself and take these men's money, I'm totally cool with that.
And like, I'm kind of here for it.
I'm like, gambling is a really bad habit.
She's exporting them too.
But like, I thought the whole idea is like she's comfortable in her body.
It's her choice.
I'm just so confused by which.
But I'm like, if you give it, if she gives it back, I'm like, you'll have a lot of us on your side.
We'll be rooting for you.
Maybe she doesn't give a fuck, you know.
Also, women's sports is just so.
like heated right now. It's just like a very tense arena. Women's sports, there is so much happening
right now, like in general. So I do, I do understand. Like, I understand. I also understand the
upper and I also understand the women who are like, I just want to be taken seriously and this
feels like a gut punch. Like, I understand that. I just, I just want her to, you know, I don't know.
Maybe she'll buy like a women's league or something. I don't know. But I don't think she's even a
sports fan or she's.
That's why it's like so weird that she's doing it.
Yeah.
Like she's not betting on sports.
It's a slap in the face to every influencer out there.
Like we're all like, no, we use this product.
We love this product.
Like buy it from us.
And she's like, yeah, also look at my tits.
But I sports bet.
Like, no, you don't, Tidy Sweeney.
No, she's not saying she even sports bet.
She is just saying, hey, horny guy who likes a sports bet.
Look at my titty.
Like how hot I am.
And he's just going to be like, yeah, no.
I.
You think he's going to think of her when he's.
betting on the buccaneers.
That's the psychology that's working here.
I think, yes.
I think young horny men will want to be loyal to their people, their fans of.
That's what fandom is.
And I think the sports spinning app that no one ever heard of before she did this
for this campaign.
Here's the other issue I have with it is now the discourse around the app is going to bring out
the grimyest of the grimyest dudes who want to throw it back in women's faces.
And they're going to be like, oh, well, I'm going to go do this.
and bet here because this is going to piss all these people off.
Like, that's where the discourse, maybe if we hadn't like been so, I don't know,
like up in arms about it, maybe it would have fallen off the face.
I don't know.
Maybe a few people would have seen it.
But now because we're all freaking out about it, I do think there's going to be a group of guys
who are a bunch of losers who are just like, oh, well, I'm going to invest in this
just in spite of women.
Like, there's going to be some dicks that do that.
Literally pray to the shrine of Siddy Suini, like make my parlay hit.
I don't know.
If you don't want to, if you hate Cindy Swinney, you hate Cindy Swinney.
that's fine.
Like, maybe she's just not for you.
But, like, I just, I think the arguments people are making of what she is or isn't doing
is feels kind of ridiculous.
Well, we have to remember the loudest voices online are usually the not representing
the majority of how people feel, you know?
But those are the loudest.
True that.
True that.
All right.
Well, up next, we have Tyler and Shana from Dancing with the Stars talking about their first
dance of this competition, what we can expect this week with their dance and just the
season in general, and they are up next.
Dylan. Patrick Swayze.
Tyler, welcome to the show.
Good one. I was like, oh, my God. Oh, no.
You did it.
I felt a man. It looks just like a.
Sharna, how are you? I'm good. I'm having a great time with Dylan over here.
We're killing it. Well, first of all, congratulations for surviving.
Honestly, it was kind of like a gauntlet first week.
Really cut throat. When they separate, we have this mass.
massive cast. So like when you initially get cast, you're thinking, all right, there's like
30 people here. It should be good for a couple of weeks. And then they divide it up and you're
like, oh, damn, I have a one out of seven shot to like make a mark. Yeah, it was a tough night to get
through and we were like trying to spark up Bachelor Nation and let everyone know we were here
because it really was tough. It could have been anyone that was going home. You have a very
tiny package and a dance for people to fall in love with you. But thankfully, he crushed. I fear
that that was the absolute best that he's even done the dance.
Third highest score.
Third highest score.
Of the night.
Of the night.
It literally was our best run.
Best run.
We've had of all of our rehearsals.
So good time to do it, I guess.
Yeah, he's a game day guy.
I was like, all right, I see you.
Come in clutch.
Tyler is a game day guy, for sure.
He comes in the clutch.
I know Tyler, you and I talked a lot about like how nervous I was when I did it.
And I was like, just have fun.
Fuck it.
How successful do you feel you were at enjoying the first night versus being scared out of your mind?
Yeah, well, you.
When you talk to me about, like, you know,
make sure your face doesn't show that you're just trying to, like,
think through the whole dance the whole time.
And that note really has stuck with me.
Like, because you've got to perform.
You got to really show that, like, you're having fun and doing it.
Like, no one wants to see a stale face, like, that's counting in their head.
Or that other really fun face that you make.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He literally blows out his cheeks.
He goes, as he's doing the move.
I was like, bro, we can't, this cannot happen on the live show.
I did so many crazy things like that.
And I didn't only think I had the awareness to even think about that
until like halfway through.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I think, you know, Saturday camera blocking day was a nightmare for me.
And probably made Shana have nightmares.
Like, do I have a headcase on my hands?
And so I was concerned about that.
And then we just, we put in the work.
We wrapped it out Sunday, Monday.
And then show day came.
We had, you know, two rehearsals and then one dress rehearsal.
and they were all clean
and they all felt really, really good
and we felt very connected
and what was so cool
is like when, you know,
that click,
click, click,
it felt like I was like just shot out of a cannon
and it felt like it was like the first time
I could like dance with Shana
and like we were like connecting,
we were looking at each other,
we were like dancing with each other.
I spoke to her while I dance.
I was like, let's go.
Yeah, that end part where we come down the middle of the voice.
Yeah, that's awesome.
It's so good.
And like I haven't been.
been able to feel that way. And it was something about like being set on fire and going. It was like,
it was one of the craziest thrills I've ever had. I'm so happy to hear that because like to I think I had
maybe two of those moments throughout the whole season. But like the, the, and I'm sure Sharna, you know,
obviously what this likes every dance. But like to be in the moment when you're dancing and enjoying it is
such a thrill. And like I had very like it was very hard for me to do. So that's awesome. Are you practicing
with Tate at home or no?
So I literally leave with Shana with like, we tape ourselves.
She gives me homework.
And then I go home.
And Shana is very nice at like sugarcoding.
What needs to be said?
So it sounds nice and appropriate.
Tastes like your face is stupid.
You know, pick up your elbow.
And she just gets on my ass.
And so I literally have.
As she should.
I have Sharnah all day.
And then I have Tate at night just coaching me through everything.
And Tate will get up with me in the mornings.
I'll go downstairs.
and I'll be dancing in the gym
and pissing everyone off in the gym
and Tate'll be in there
just like, you look stupid here, your face is dumb,
fix your arm, like, so I'm getting it from both ends
right now. She's brutal, man, brutal.
But I am absolutely here for it.
Sharna, you would know, are they still putting the pros up
in the same place?
No, it's a different place now.
Oh, it is. Okay.
I haven't been there, but I think it's different.
Because where they put us up, Bruno, I think,
also lived in, you know, it's a big, whatever.
And I saw him at the gym a couple of times.
And I was like, oh, if you get to see Bruno in the gym, you should get some tips.
Yeah.
Sharna, I'm curious from your perspective.
First of all, like, it's so good to have you back.
I know I said this to you when I saw you on Tuesday night.
It's just like, obviously I got to, not with you, but like you were on my season.
Yeah.
I just love your style.
Like, how does it feel to be back?
And has it been an adjustment at all with what I'm sure feels like a lot of new, fresh
faces. Obviously, Val's still there, but I feel like there's more new people than people that
we all dance with back in the day. How does it all feel? You know, it's been incredible to come back
in many ways. It's like I never left. Like the job itself just feels like second nature to me.
So being in the room with Thai and like all the things, it's incredible. There is the added element
right now of you need to have a social media game. So literally we have to schedule social media
time in our rehearsal. That part I don't love so much because I'm a workhorse. I want to just
drill. It's work, right? Yeah. Yeah, but I'm starting to have a lot of fun with creating them,
because also he's really fun to do them with. As far as the new faces, like, I've still known
all of them for such a long time. Fresh's faces would be Adele and Haley. Haley, I adore,
Adele, I adore. Like, it's been really fun to come into this position. And I am like the oldest
of the crew. And so I also feel, and the most seasoned in a sense, so I feel like, I don't know,
It's not that there's wisdom that I'm sharing with anyone.
I don't want to say that about myself, but I do feel like I can be there for some of these younger ones.
Yeah, for sure, right?
And give them the confidence, and I can see the things that I used to go through as a young pro in the self-doubt and the whatever.
And so I feel really good that I can support everyone in that way.
But it is great.
And balancing it with a family, though, you guys, is a wild trip.
Wild trip.
How do you and Brian manage the adjustment that's a changing your schedule?
these days. I mean, honestly, you just survive these times. You know, when he's home and he's,
he's handling it at the house, it's great. And he runs me at some salts baths when I come home.
Like, he is an A plus human and I'm so grateful I have him. But also sometimes he's got to travel
for work. And so we've got grandparents and nannies and everyone's on call and we're trying
to figure it out because schedules change. And you literally just survive. There was a week there
where I was leaving before Zane woke up and I got back when he was asleep. And,
I was just like so hard on my heart.
He cut his own bangs on the Monday and I didn't see it till the Saturday.
Oh, no.
Yes, girl.
He cut his own bang.
Oh, no.
He was like, there was a knot in it.
I don't need that here.
So, you know.
I just want to say from one parent to another and someone who loves you on dance with
the stars.
And I mean this.
Like, thanks for your sacrifice because like, it's great to have you back.
No, seriously.
And that is a sacrifice that you are making.
Obviously, it's so cool to be, I'm sure you're having fun.
but like as a fan thank you for coming back and dancing with my friend and and making that
sacrifice thank you you're the best i appreciate that and i'm loving every second of it too i'm curious
because totally recognized like obviously the social media it's new and it's definitely work
as someone sharna who like has you know obviously you've been on for so long you've followed the fan
base obviously dancing with the stars is kind of having it's kind of like a new win right a new audience
it's a fresher audience.
Do you feel the difference in the audience from years past with the kind of inclusion of social media?
Yeah, I think for the very most part, you feel the presence of them all.
And you can almost, if one does look at comments and things online, I generally try to just post
and ghost because I think it can get really chaotic online a bit.
But you can see the split between those that have been around for a long time and those that
are newer fans. And I appreciate all of it. Look, it's the resurgence of the show. And having this
younger, newer crowd is an absolute gift and an asset. But I see people trying to learn the
law like, Shana Burgess, what is she done? Who is like? Because it was five seasons, four seasons
ago that I was on. And so I find that really interesting. But I... I love how they're all calling
you mother. Like, you are the mother of the mother. Mother is back. Which is so funny. That's crazy.
I'll take it. I'll take it. I'll take it.
And I do feel like, I do feel like when I'm like backstage and I lose Sharner, I'm like,
where is mother? Where's mother? I am lost.
Mother. He does do that.
Sharna, mother ground me.
Ground me. Mother. Help.
I'm nervous, mother.
Tyler, you were on Tuesday telling me that you're really, really excited for your next dance.
What can you share with us about what that dance is and why you're excited?
Yeah, this next dance, I think, is going to be so much fun because our first dance,
was like very strong.
It was the tango.
It's very structured and frame.
And to some people stiff, see your comments.
So I think this next dance is a complete contrast to that.
We're doing girls by Kid LaRoy and we're doing the salsa.
Yeah.
To me, like tangos was like work.
It was like structure.
It was strong.
It was hard.
This is like sexy.
It's fun.
It's like a hot dance.
We're doing crazy tricks.
Like, does the shirt come off?
Nick,
you already know.
the answer to that. Come on now.
We need those. Absolutely, it does.
Yeah, yeah. We got to get
the week three, y'all. I was like, is it too soon
to pimp that out? I'm not sure. Is it too soon?
Well, no, because I'm curious, Tyler,
I have no thirst trap game anymore. It's RIP.
Natalie shames me every day for the body
I used to have, which I appreciate
because I respond well to shame.
Also, Nali, saw you post your picture
the other day of your comeback body. Damn, girl.
I'm here.
Thank you.
Bye.
Yeah.
Hell yeah.
You also have had an incredible thirst trap game.
It has slowed down as of late.
Can we expect, you know, dancing with the stars really is, you know, a lot of people talk about
the shape they get in.
Are we going to see a Tyler Cameron evolution of maybe more thirst traps as the season progresses?
Like, is that something if the fans vote for you that they can look forward to?
It's just like, hey, I'll vote.
But like, are you going to get sweaty and say?
Yeah, I mean, I wish I would have had a little bit more lead-up time to coming in here when I got the call, because I would have definitely, like, gotten in crazier shape.
You know, you want to start this way.
You want, they want to, they want to join the journey, Tyler.
Yeah, well, I've just gained weight this whole time.
I don't know what people are, you know, everyone's like, you need to eat food.
You got to recover well.
I'm like, oh, I love eating food.
Maybe eat less food.
I don't know.
Well, that's because after dancing, we went and got burgers and you got custard.
But I'm definitely getting stronger.
my face, my brother and dad was like your face
got leaner. So I'm like 2.35 right now. I'm, I'm big. I'm ready to go
play some fullback. But I got like four abs left. So
we're going to, we're going to pep every single one of them now.
Four of them will be on Sharmes. Yeah, but like when you get to the finals,
you'll have eight. It could be a six-five.
You better be throwing Sharna all around that ballroom.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. But no, we're definitely, it's definitely like,
I'm definitely getting in better shape doing this. So we'll be,
we'll be thirst trapping it up for sure.
Natalie's a voter.
I can tell you,
she loves when you all be flipping each other around.
But I was watching and I heard Carrie Ann be like,
listen,
like you don't need all the tricks.
And I...
The voters would disagree.
How do you...
Sharna, how do you balance that with like
knowing that maybe that's not technically
what's in the dance
and maybe the judges won't agree,
but the fans love to see that?
I think especially at this point,
I always had this theory,
like break the rules
if you think it's worth it because you want to get the votes too,
like be strategic about it.
But I also think right now,
gaining that audience, those votes,
that social media, like buzz about you or a viral moment,
like that's such a big deal on the show now.
So I say if you think it's worth it,
if you think it's worth losing the point
and maybe getting reprimanded by Kareen,
then I say go for it.
I think this song too has a lot of chances to have viral moments
and cool things happen throughout it.
Yeah.
So I think we're excited.
to showcase that.
Yeah.
And I think it's going to be like a very fun watch.
Some of the tricks are definitely like, please don't try this at home.
But there is a couple where it's like you could learn it.
You know like those partner challenge ones.
Say again.
The movie, the cutting edge, remember that figure skating movie?
Would they do that trick at the end?
Oh, God, I recently watched that.
Yes.
So good.
So good.
It's the best.
It's the best.
It's the best movie ever.
Lots of great competitors in this entire season, Tyler.
But early on, I feel like a lot of times.
people are competing against certain people like you know you got the mail vote you know
you have jackson you got Connor woods like who do you feel like early in the early stages
are people that maybe you're friendly competing with well i think when i set the bar for who are the
top people i think definitely it's going to be hairy and it's going to be ezra and then i think
there's like another tier of guys where it's it's the rest of us you know so i think i'm in that group
where it's the rest of us, and we're going to have to all just dance it out for better terms,
you know, and figure it out.
But, I mean, Ezra was electric.
Electric.
Spectra.
You know, I love you, Tyler.
I was there in support of you.
Ezra made me emotional.
Like, I had to try not to cry.
If we vote for you and you move on throughout this season, do you think you'll give the audience an
opportunity to cry?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
I think, I think, you know, like in football, you have,
a game you always circle.
Like, this is the big week for me.
Like, this is the game.
Dedication night, we have something that, you know,
I want to get to that point.
Like, I want to perform that dance because Sharnah is the most incredible choreographer
and so good at, like, telling a story and articulating the things that I feel and I've gone through.
And I think putting that together with the story that we want to share for that night,
you know, and honor the people that we want to honor and dedicated to the people who want
dedicated to, like, that to me will be one of the greatest nights of my life if we can pull that
off, because I think that'll be something that I will cherish and share and hold on to forever
because, like, the greatest thing about reality television is you get to have these moments forever.
Like, I get to have the moment that I spoke to my, like, with my mom on The Bachelorette,
and I can always go back to that moment, and I can always relive that.
Like, it's hard to find video footage of me and my mom together because when we're with each other,
we're just with each other, but I have those because of reality television.
To have this dedication night and be able to do something with that about her to share that for everyone.
I'm getting a little choked up now talking about it because of what she's already described,
she wants to do.
Like gave me chills, made me emotional.
And if we can do that and get to that point, like, that to me is like...
I'm thinking about it and I'm getting emotional, Tyler.
Yeah.
Let's make it happen.
Getting to that will just be something that'll be life-changing for me.
And one of the greatest gifts I could ever have, basically,
because I'll get to always have that moment forever.
And how many weeks are we away from dedication night?
That's week six.
So honestly, not that many.
And we have some really amazing dances lined up.
I've planned our season because there's only so many that we can do lifts in, right,
that we won't actually get called out.
So we have this week.
Then we have a dance where we can't do lifts.
It's going to be much more technical.
Then we have one that we can.
then I think it's something else and then it's dedication.
So it's a really beautiful like ride that we have of what we can bring to the competition.
I think I have no problem getting him to that point.
And storytelling is my favorite thing in the world.
And when I came up with this concept and told him and saw him and Tate getting emotional,
and then I got emotional, I was like, all right, I know I've got the right thing here.
So now my biggest goal is to get him there so I can give him that moment.
That's amazing.
How many things do you know, like do you know each dance, each week until the end?
Or how much do they tell you?
Where are we, because of planning such a massive production, we're a couple weeks ahead.
So I already know my songs, say, up until week six, I believe.
And then after that, it's sort of like, we have options to select and submit, but nothing
has been confirmed because people can go home.
You don't really know it's going to be available.
So I submit.
concepts and ideas and songs and styles based off of what we have left, but then say two weeks
before we'll get confirmed for what that one is and then I can start to actually prep it.
Wow. And are you prepping with Brian? Like how, what is your, your, how do you do this?
Yeah, Brian Salsa is. I love him. I bet just you're good as Tyler's.
You know what? I actually do prep like concepts and ideas and I show him my tape and my prep and
you know, as a second eye to say, what do you think?
And he always has great insight.
But I do prep with another dancer.
I like to prep.
There was someone here, Jared Byrne.
He's been dancing in some of the extra numbers.
He's from Australia as well.
He's a fantastic guy and a great body to put things on because he's big, like Tyler.
Not quite that big, but he's like 6-1.
So not many people reach the 6-3 mark in the dance world.
But I do like to prep on a body because I can see how it moves.
And then there are some weeks where like I go in with a plan and I go, well, none of that worked.
And we just create it in the room and figure out what looks best on him.
I was always amazed how you guys would come up with your choreography and just it'd be so effortless.
And I'd been like, what did you just do?
What was that?
He's actually, Nick, though, he's so good at learning patterns.
I think it's football, right?
But he learns the actual choreography of it all really quickly.
And then we break it down, get technique, and then start working on.
And of course, that takes a lot of time because it's different.
But the actual patterns of it all, he's really great.
Sure, and I have to say, I talk about this all the time because the first time I met you
was at Kelly Rizzo's house for the Special Forces premiere that we all did.
And obviously, like, and Brian were on the same season.
And I was like freshly postpartum.
I think River was a couple months old.
And I was talking to you about how I was having all these intrusive thoughts.
And you gave me the most special advice that I have shared multiple times on this show because it has helped me so much of just like thanking the intrusive thought for coming in and allowing you to like be more observant and more present and being like, okay, thanks. I see that. Now I'm going to put my phone down and look at everyone around me and really watch her go up the stairs instead of, you know, think that she can do it. And that really helped me. So I just want to thank you in person for giving me that.
Oh, babe, that just made me emotional. Thank you. It's a it's a crazy journey that we go through.
and there's just not enough people talking about it.
And you think you're on an island of one when these things come up.
Like there's something wrong with your brain and it's broken.
And it's not.
It's just adjusting to this massive amount of love and equal parts of fear that have come into you.
But there's little life that you want to protect with everything you got.
But I see you.
I see the mum that you are and the bits I see of you online.
And I've just, mum to mum, so proud of you.
And you've got three babies.
Oh, it's so crazy.
You are so in it.
And it's so incredible.
And you're doing an amazing job.
Thank you.
When is, is there going to be a Disney night and a Halloween night?
Do you know?
A Disney night and a horror night.
So we're not calling it Halloween.
I believe, I don't want to say things I'm not allowed to say.
But it is a Halloween type night, but we're calling it horror.
But there is a Disney night.
Yes.
Can I put it in a request?
Oh, absolutely.
I want Tyler to be Mr.
Incredible.
The way that they've done their themes, their Disney night,
it's specifically, it's a certain type of Disney that we're allowed to do,
and I don't think that makes the cut.
But Mr. Incredible, absolutely Captain America.
But you know, like him in tights and those giant shoulders.
You want him in the red jumpsuit?
I die.
He's like, he's game.
He's like, Nick and Tate.
Matt James' advice is like lean in.
If they want to paint you all blue, be painted all blue.
I was Pinocchio, bro.
Bruno gave you a note about this kind of, you know, when you kind of lean back.
What was the note?
It was finishing these.
Oh, that was Derek.
Derek, I think, right?
Oh, Derek.
I really, like, I want in some point in the season for you to like really master that and you just kind of snap it, right?
And everyone just notices it.
And I, yeah, I want, I hope you're practicing that.
yeah no we've been put some of that in this new dance not necessarily the same type of one but
working on getting all these snaps and all these things like that now that you have your rhythm you
can see that we can get to see that tyler cameron kind of swag come out that patrick seasy you know
and really just yeah yeah get those hips moving incredible compliment to be considered in the same
sense of suasy so yeah i got uh i got i got i got different comparisons when i was on tv what did you
good.
I got the villain from Ghostbusters too.
Okay.
Yeah.
Natalie's like, oh, okay.
Interesting.
Anyways.
Good actor.
Good actor.
Yeah.
It's great.
Listen.
Yeah.
Alex Earl, I don't know if this is really stupid.
I just thought she posted something about like watching Val and, and Jenna.
And she's like, this is worse than watching your ex-boyfriend, like, on another.
I just thought that was funny.
Obviously, Sharnie, you've been out for like five years.
I'm sure you've had an impact.
But just speaking to that, like just the closeness and the bond, you know, Pete and I are
still obviously good friends.
It's been like nine years since I've been on the show.
Like, what is it like every season to make a connection with your dancing partner?
And what is that relationship like?
Because obviously, to Alex's point, like, and I know she had some fun with it.
But it is a very deep and like close connection that you guys.
make. That's what you hope for. You know, you hope to be friends still nine years later and I am
certainly with a good handful of my partners and it doesn't always work out that way. You know,
you're not always going to have the lifelong connection with someone after this experience.
Sometimes it is just that bubble where you connect and you're in it together and then life takes
you different ways. Certainly James Hinchcliffe, Noah Galloway are just besties of mine and I've loved
loved having them in my world. And I said to Tyler, on our first trial, I was like, dude,
you are very quickly becoming one of my favorite people that I've ever done this with. This is a
human being and him and Tate collectively. I absolutely adored them. And I was like, you're going
to be in my top three. You know, you're just right up there. And I hope that we keep this connection.
Definitely. And at the same time, like, when I've had amazing partnerships, and then you come back
the next season and you're just hoping for it to be that way and you don't get that connection,
And you're like, all right, here we go.
And it's a little bit more work to find that teamwork to make the dream work, essentially.
Sharma, have you won a Miraball?
Yeah.
Yeah, I won season, was it 27?
I won season 27 with Bobby Bones.
Oh, yes, Bobby Bones.
What do you think it was that you can, like, channel and bring with Tyler that you won with Bobby with?
It's just work ethic.
Honestly, Bobby had amazing work ethic.
He didn't stop.
He wanted to keep going.
He used all the tools in his tool belt, essentially.
And that's what we're doing, too.
It's the same approach just with a different human and different tools.
But Tyler's work ethic, I think, is stronger than damn near anyone that I have ever danced
with on this show.
His commitment to it of just, he would go for 12 hours a day if he could.
And it's really impressive.
And that dedication to it and passion for it, I think is just the greatest asset that I could have.
So for us, it's our work ethic.
It's the let's just keep moving and keep doing.
and having a good time while doing it
because people want to see us have fun as well.
They don't want to just see it be hard work.
Essentially people are coming to watch the show
to be entertained, to have an escape,
to have a good time to connect to a human being.
And so I want to showcase who he is,
but also really lock into the fact
that we're both workhorses
and we can just keep going and keep drilling
until we get it right.
I love that.
Tyler, what's Pop saying?
Oh my God.
Well, he called me the day.
so he just regurgitates what the internet says
awesome
I'm like thanks dad you know
he called me yesterday he's like
now I don't really know what I'm talking about
but you know I'm the fan base
you know I'm in it too now I'm part of them
I'm a attention with this Fars fan now
and it's really cool stuff
but they said you're stiff I was like thanks pops
I know I've seen it you know
we're gonna we're gonna work on it
I was like how about my roof
is my roof getting done you know
But like, for the record, tango is a stiff dance.
You know what I mean?
There is, I saw one comment saying he didn't even move his hips with a laughing face.
And I was like, because he's not meant to in a tango.
Yeah.
You tell him, Sean.
It's like, it's a stiff dance.
But no, that's why I'm so excited for this next dance is because it's just going to be a complete flip from what we did.
And it's going to show like we have versatility.
We can have a lot of fun.
I think the dances I'm getting compared to were fun dances.
Yeah, absolutely.
And so now we get to show the fun side too.
Because like you said, tango is about structure and strong and all these things.
And so now this one is just going to be a complete flip.
Still going to have structure.
And but just, that's salsa.
It's also sexy.
We love it.
You know, hopefully just not a chunky salsa.
And it's a smooth salsa.
Exactly.
Well, we love you guys.
We're rooting for you.
Can't wait to see your next dance and certainly hope to see many more.
How, like obviously before we let go, you know, we're obviously going to put
how people can vote for you in our show description.
But let us know right here.
You guys are dancing tonight.
So make sure to tune in to Dancing with the Stars.
Vote for Shana and Tyler.
And how do they do that?
You vote Tyler by texting the number.
21523.
Text Tyler at 21523.
You can do it up to 10 times.
You can do it as soon as voting opens,
which is East Coast 8 p.m.
So West Coast 5 p.m.
And you can always go in and change your vote.
But I say get your votes in nice and early.
We don't, we can't say the order that we're dancing because we don't know.
Yeah.
Get your votes in early.
We need them all.
We want to make it through especially to this dedication.
But I want to get this guy all the way to the end because freestyle ideas are also flowing.
And I really think I could crush it with that too.
Love it.
Well, good luck tonight.
Crush it.
And we'll see you.
I'm excited to see how it goes.
When are you guys going to come back out?
TBD.
We'll definitely be there for dedication night, for sure.
We've got a lot of kids now.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Five weeks away.
Five weeks away.
Five weeks away, yeah.
Okay.
No, we should be, I think we'll be all right.
All right, we'll make it work.
Yeah, cool.
We love you guys.
Thank you so much for having us on.
You guys are the best.
Thank you for having us.
All right.
Good luck tonight.
That was fun. Love you guys. Bye.
Oh, great.
Love you guys.
All right. Talk to you.
You guys are the best. Thank you.
Yeah. Thank you so much.
Bestie alert. Bestie alert.
I really hope they make it the dedication night.
Yeah, me too. Seems like they really got something good up their sleeves.
Yeah, I think it's going to be great. Do you have a favorite, who are your favorite two couples on Dancing with the Stars?
Like favorite.
Favorite male, favorite female?
The dance you're most looking forward to.
y'all know my answer
who was yours who
I like the two girls
they're gone
oh they're gone
buddy yeah
I thought what they didn't even dance yet
I thought premier night was just the dudes
no it was back to back
yeah there was
there's another night I haven't watched
yeah you miss night too
and you just spoiled it for me
sorry
well you you
I did this to myself
Sarah Jane is she got she got fooded
well
she's gone yeah
I'll still be watching their performance
I bet you will
I love
Tyler. Ezra's like really high up there for me. Jenna Dewan is also very high up there for me.
Yeah. I noticed you haven't said, Guillermo. Also love him as well. Love him all. Give him all a mirrorball.
Harry's the best, right? Can we all agree on that at least? Again, apparently I missed the
the ladies night, but Harry Shum is the best of the stars, right? Oh, he's incredible.
He's a dancer. He's wonderful. He's too good for me. Interesting. Like where does he go from here kind of a thing?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, he's an exceptional dancer.
Yeah.
He's incredible.
Incredible.
Yeah.
It's just like, but if, you know, I'm, I already know what, like, I know his dance on Tuesday is also going to be incredible.
It's going to be flawless.
I'm curious if, like, Tyler, if we're going to see improvement, you know, Ezra, incredible, but, like, we're going to get to see other ways that he defies his disability.
It's, you know, that's a different type of incredible.
Yeah.
There's no, you know.
So, like, again, he's awesome.
but I'm not like, oh, what's Harry going to do this week?
Yeah, that's fair.
Dancing with the Stars is all about like, how can you improve?
Like how, you know, where did you start to where you finish?
And when it comes in Jenna DeWan, another like, she can dance, but I don't know,
something, I don't know, something watching Val with his partners.
It's always just like awesome.
Good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I know.
I don't know.
I think my thoughts, I obviously as a Tyler fan, I'm just like,
I'm pumped. I think he didn't come out. I mean, he came out strong, but he didn't come out too
strong, like, how we're saying, where do you go from here kind of a thing? Like, I think that
we're going to be able to see improvement. And also, I think that he is such a millennial
icon that I'm like now with the new Gen Z audience. It's going to be cool to see other people
get to know Tyler, because I feel like Dancing with the Stars is so millennial. But last year,
we brought so many, like, Gen Z people that I'm like, it's going to be fun to watch the fandom take over.
but personally, I love Julia Stiles.
I wasn't like, this isn't to sound bad.
I wasn't like so stoked to see her on.
And then I saw her on and I was like, no, I'm rooting for you.
Yeah, right.
Because she comes across as like more quiet and more demure.
But she did the thing that you want to see from someone like her where like,
because you're kind of like old dancing with the stars when you would see someone of like a Julia Stiles elk would be like, oh, you know, why does she?
It was almost like, you know, you're.
the career is going in the wrong direction kind of like it was almost seen as a negative.
But when she came on, she was like, I'm just such a fan of the show.
And now it's more like, oh, you know, you want Julia Stiles to do well because it's an invitation
for other people like Julia Stiles who like tune in our fans and they're watching it.
They're going, that would be so fun to do.
Fuck it.
Should I do it?
And all her girlfriends are like, just fucking do it.
Just call up, this call them up and say you want to do it because it would be so much fun.
And it is so much fun.
And you're right.
Like after seeing her opening package, you're like, no, I'm totally rooting for Julia Stiles because she,
she's giving other, like, bigger names of permission to just say, fuck it.
I want to, I just want to do this because it's going to be fun.
And that's the vibe she's getting.
And that's what it should be.
Yeah.
Yes.
I loved it her.
I'm also super excited for Mora.
I feel like she surprised me.
She was so in character.
She was so good.
It was so spooky and mysterious.
Yeah, I feel like really strongly about her.
I do.
I will say I obviously have in friends with a lot of performers.
And one of my girlfriends gave a hot take that I thought was interesting because I don't have the dance background.
But one of my friends that does, she was like, of course Mark comes out.
He puts, they play into the traitors.
He puts her in a long black dress.
We can't see her legs.
And I think that was an important detail to technique where it's like when you use the illusion of the stage in the costume.
Like Sierra, there was a moment where I noticed like something about her legs where I was like, oh, like it looks a lot.
little bit like not so technical here, but she was in a white dress where Mara had the black that
goes into the stage. And so I was like, I'm curious if with the change of the costumes we will
see more, you know, nuance to her technique. I'm curious, but I will, I also will say she did like a
spur of the moment spin into a dip with Mark. And then I literally tried to see if I could bend my
back that far back. And I was like, this takes serious, impressive flexibility. So I almost
I almost wonder if she's sandbagging us. I'm like, maybe she actually has more agility,
flexibility than she's leading on. Because the way she bent over backwards in that dip,
I was like, that's not normal. My back hurts. My back hurts. I was trying it in my bedroom. I was
like, how does she do that? Speaking of Jenna Dewan, who I am very excited to see perform tonight,
Channing Tatum has been like linked to like allegedly maybe possibly having a fenceda and like trolling
not only his ex-girlfriend Zoe Kravitz but also just like other celebrities and they're only
saying that they think it's him because he's the only person that follows this fintzina account
which I feel like is number one don't do yeah don't do if you have yeah there's no way he's that
dumb to get caught in that but why does he follow it as a good
question. Was it an accident?
That's what I was wondering. I'm like, slip of the finger maybe. Yeah, could it have been a slip
of the finger an accident? I don't know. This seems like it probably was. You know what it probably
was because clearly if it sounds like this person is giving fan of Channing Tatum and
hater of anyone who's ever wrong Channing. So they were maybe like reaching out like singing
his praises and being a, and maybe he gave like a sympathy follow, a fan follow only to regret it.
Or maybe he accidentally followed that. But the thing is.
Like since this has come out, he's already unfollowed.
Sure, because he's being like, because he's like, how did it?
Yeah, because he's being.
You got to walk it back.
But some of the comments are like, it's a picture of Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles.
And he's like, just, well, not him.
The account.
We don't know.
Says, just here for the hate.
Popcorn emoji, soda emoji.
Channing, if you're writing that, that is nothing.
That's no way.
There's no way.
But also there's a lot of nuances.
Like there was one comment where he had.
A clip had gone viral of him saying, like, oh, she's one of the most strategic people I've ever met or something like that.
And then this account comments and is like, people are taking it one way, like, that it was a compliment.
He's like, the comment is like, well, I wonder what he meant by strategic because in the context of a relationship, that could be manipulative.
And I was like, low-key giving like, is this context to the relationship?
And he's like using this as his side mouth.
It's so funny because there's also like, so another one is Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles are engaged, question mark, inside the alleged scene.
Secret Proposal fans never saw coming.
The account says, y'all ain't inside shit.
And then there's one of Channing Tatum doing an interview.
And the comment is, he's so genuine.
No false pretenses with this guy.
And funny as hell, too.
Bro, that can be him.
I hope it's him.
If it's him, he gets a pass.
If it's him because he's so funny for these comments.
Genuine and real.
That's so fair.
Genuine and real.
I don't know how I feel about it.
him if this was actually him.
I honestly wouldn't change my opinion of him at all.
I would just be like, brach, you fucking cornball.
I don't really have a lot of thoughts on him.
So this is kind of painting some context to me that I think is kind of interesting.
I love Chaney Tate.
It is fascinating.
He's going to have to come up with an answer.
Yes.
He should pull like a Mr. Fantasy and do something, just like go into a, become a character and like do something to address this.
Like something bizarre because if not, this is going to go down in history.
Just find a way to turn into like a marketing play for like a movie or something.
He's going to be in, like, make a bunch of burner accounts and have it be like a whole like promo thing.
I support.
Do y'all have burners?
No.
No.
I have a creeper account.
Yeah.
I creep.
And also I use it as like a way to curate a feed that is actually very aesthetic for like inspo and stuff.
But, um, but then I also use it to like stock my exes sometimes when I'm just feeling like down in the dumps, you know?
I respect that.
I want to shop for pain.
I made a burner, but I did a terrible job.
I followed myself.
So I was like, I can't use this now.
Fuck.
Yeah.
Well, the new cast of the next Traders has been released,
and it is a jam-packed lineup,
which is a great segue because we also have Madeline
from Trader's New Blood with us coming up shortly
to talk about her unceremonious exit.
And she really, after talking with her,
she really got the short end of the stick.
I have a hot take coming out of the Madeline interview
about how she was treated.
But let's talk about the cast.
Do we have, Susie,
do you have the list of the cast
and want to read them off for us?
Bianco Del Rio from Rupert's drag race.
Bowman Martinez-Reed made for TV
with Bowman Martinez-Reed.
Brano and Newport,
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Casey Wilson, happy ending slash Saturday Night Live.
Chloe Kim, Olympic snowboarder.
Cody Simpson, singer and competitive swimmer.
Craig Conover, Southern Charm.
Cynthia Bailey, the Real House
Wives of Atlanta. Dominique Monahan lost slash Lord of the Rings. Amira de Spain. Next Gen.
N. Y.C. Jazele Bryant, the Real Housewives of Potomac. Ian Sterling, the narrator of Love Island.
Jack Baines, Big Brothers, Slash the Amazing Race. Janay Craig, Love Island, USA. Joey Grosaday, the Bachelor.
Johnny Sibili, Hacks slash Queers Folk.
Kristen Chenoweth, Wicked and Pushing Daisies.
Michelle Fitzgerald, Survivor and the Challenge.
Q. Burdett, Survivor.
Rachel Robinson, the challenge.
Rashad Jennings, Dancing with the Stars,
slash the NFL.
Taylor Hale, Big Brother in the Amazing Race.
And then Whitney Levitt, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
It is an inch.
I mean, like, Ian Sterling and Jeney,
if they don't have a alliance,
they're doing everything wrong.
I'm pumped for Ian.
like he's hilarious.
I want Ian to be a traitor.
Yeah.
That'd be great.
He's like one of the only people I actually know of this entire career other than Rashad Jennings.
I think he'd be a perfect traitor because like his voice is so like charming and contagious.
And I think people are going to have so much fascination with him being the voice of Love Island that I think it would just like no one's going to want to assume he's a traitor.
And if he like if he shows up wanting to be a.
traitor, I think he could be an awesome traitor.
The voice alone.
You guys know Bowman, the content creator?
No.
He's hilarious.
I feel like he'd be a great traitor.
He does like Love Island like parody videos.
It's funny shit.
Oh, yes.
Okay, yes, I do know him.
Who do you think, you know, again, what's, I think the biggest difference between
traders, celebrity traders and traders new blood is the lore people come in with versus like
on New Blood.
No one knows anything about anything.
We're on, like, we have the lawyer Kim on New Blood saying she's a basketball coach.
because she doesn't want people to like be suspicious because she's a lawyer.
You can't do that on obviously celebrity traders.
And you have people like, for example, like Craig Kineover.
Like he's, he comes in as someone who like brags about being a liar and a storyteller
and things like that.
And if you kind of come in immediately, you could, you know, I think Craig's going to have
a target on its back because of like how mischievous he comes across and things like that.
as opposed to you know.
I feel like the rest of this cast
isn't watching Southern Charm.
I think all the Bravo celebrities
are aware of each other's lore.
I think Craig might be in trouble
because there's not a ton of housewives on here
and I low-key feel like the older ladies
always latch on to like the young, hot guys
and they kind of like nurture
and they kind of fall into this trap.
And I feel like they're kind of missing that mama energy
from what I can see.
So I don't know.
He might be in trouble.
Yeah.
I mean, we do have our growth sense.
Cynthia Bailey on shout out her.
Cynthia's going to crush.
Yeah, she is.
What do you guys think she would be better as a traitor or a faithful?
I think a faithful.
And I just think she just moves so effortlessly and so just like she,
she's as someone you want in her corner.
And I just, I just, you know, because we talk about how in the show,
you just try to avoid having a target on your back early on.
I just don't think there's a world in where Cynthia is going to have a target on her back.
And I think she's just always just a great, you know, person having your corner.
I just think she's like a, like a Mora Higgins, like a Gabby Wendy, right?
Like the people who just like, they were just easy to be around, people enjoyed having a round.
Cynthia is obviously a very intelligent person.
I think she's going to add value to the roundtable, but like not in a way that's going to put a target on her back.
And I think she's just going to be able to coast very far.
Yeah, is a faithful.
I think she's going to be very well.
On Newblood, they talked about how no traitor has.
ever been out at the first roundtable.
Again, I actually don't know a lot of these faces.
Is there anybody who you think, like, if they made this person a traitor,
like they're getting outed first time, like, no-brainer.
Like, low-key, Amira from Next Gen YZ?
Because that's one of the few people I'm familiar with on this list.
Oh, yeah.
I feel like she'd get clocked ASAP if she'd traitor.
Someone like Frayor Whitney.
Only just because they're both people who have an edge to them.
You know, they're both outspoken people.
I'm thinking of people who can't mask their emotions.
Like Whitney.
Okay.
You can't.
I think Jene could, well, I don't know,
Janay might be able to mask her emotions, but she'd be a funny traitor.
I think she could go very far.
I think she has such a light, goofy personality.
I think that she could be very hard to read for people.
What season of Love Island was she on?
She won't look familiar.
Six, yeah.
See, I haven't watched that one yet.
She's part of the PBG.
I'm still new, man.
I've got a lot of work to do.
I'm friends with Taylor Hale, and she's like the first big brother contestant to win.
the people's vote and the actual game itself, which I think is key for like game playing.
Like that, like she is, I think either the first or the first woman, I'm not sure, but she,
like that it's like unheard of.
Like she was iconic.
And I think that that says a lot about like strategy and technique and being able to like
read the room, play the room.
And like, and I mean that in a good way.
Like she's a very intelligent person.
So I think that she would be an amazing traitor.
but if anyone saw her season, they might have a little.
Well, to your point, a lot of the game players, they kind of come in almost with a target on
their back because they're game players.
And they ruffle people's feathers often because they kind of have this like, well,
it's just the game and they're pushing buttons.
Like Boston Robb, like obviously big character played it very well, but he was so, you know,
he played it so almost loud where if your friend, I'm not familiar with her,
but if she can really appeal to her peers, wow strategize.
in a way that's very difficult for them to read because he comes, like Rob won because he was
just so, he made friends with everyone. He was so likable. Everyone was just like, I don't know,
I like having you around. You play chess with me, right? Like, you know, that's obviously a skill set
that not everyone has, right? Because to your point, like, what happens when you, when you have
the target pointed at you? What happens when you get a false accusation your way? Can you, can you maneuver?
Or is it hard to like not get defensive? I wonder if Jene will get here.
heat on her just because she is friends with Rob and Rob was, and it's like, oh, did Rob
tell you, you know, like.
I mean, again, early on, people are just looking for excuses to point the finger.
Y'all was sleeping on my boy, Rashad.
Oh, really?
Rashad, winner of the mirror ball.
Who did you win with?
Thinking like, you know, staying cool, calm, collected in pressure environments,
and people are pointing fingers at you.
Like, if he's a traitor, hand him the trophy.
I would love to see Kristen Chenoweth be a traitor because one, she'd probably be the smallest,
cutest little traitor that we've ever seen. They'd have to get that little cloak hemmed for her because
she's just so little. And also, she's so likable and cute that, like, I don't think anyone would
want to target her. So I feel like she would be able to make it really far simply by being so charming.
But it's just, like, the juxtaposition of, like, this cute little blonde, I don't know,
America's sweetheart. I do feel like her and Dominic are going to go far just because no one wants
to vote for like the actors, you know, like a literal star.
A literal star.
Oh, she was in Wicked.
Yeah.
And Dominic, I mean, in Lost, like he, no one wants to point through.
They all want to be cool with them.
You know, they want to be friends with them.
They don't want to get him out.
The Lord of the Rings lore.
Yeah, wait, what did he play in Lord of the Rings?
He was one of the hobbits.
He was.
Yeah.
Look him up.
You'll recognize his face.
I love Lord of the Rings, but I don't know who actors are.
So, oh my God.
Wait.
Yeah.
That's insane.
Like any of the actors, nobody.
They're going to go far.
That's going to be fine.
I had him.
He was a guest on the show a couple years ago and he's a really.
He like talks to his animals in the backyard and he's he's one with nature.
Yeah, he's fascinating guy.
They can't make him a traitor.
He's got to be a faithful.
Well, if you're watching Trader's New Blood, we have Madeline on coming up next to talk about
her early exit from the show.
Why does she think she left early?
I definitely have a hot take coming out of the interview after speaking with Madeline.
but it's a great conversation and you get a little inside baseball of Traders New Blood
and how it's different than Celebrity Traders and Madeline is up next.
Madeline, welcome to this show.
Thank you for having me.
I'm so excited to be here.
Well, excited to have you.
It's so sad that you're one of the first to go.
How do you feel about that?
I imagine obviously very exciting to be a part of this new show and this kind of premiere cast,
but obviously bittersweet that you had a lot.
kind of an early exit. How did it feel in real time when it happened? It felt terrible in real
time. It felt awful. But honestly, I feel justice has been served. It felt as if an injustice,
a grave injustice had occurred. But I just feel like in human essence, everyone wants to feel
understood. So when you have a group that's basically 20 versus one, that feels like
shit, basically. But the response has been so positive. And it really came out that I didn't
say that or what really happened. So I feel good. Like, I feel the people have been really great.
Everyone, the response has been really positive. So I'm honestly chilling.
What did you do to prep for this show? Were you a
big fan of just the original traders or did you kind of come in not knowing too much i only watched
the u.s celebrity seasons which was a definitely different vibe because i feel like more people had each other's
backs because they knew each other from the housewives or from the gamers and that kind of vibe you know
i really just plan to play like jabby wendy like you know like she was a good vibe she was a good
faithful, dressed well, was always honest.
Like that was kind of just going to be my vibe.
I just wanted to go in it, having fun, being who I was, being truthful.
I just wanted to be faithful.
So that was my game plan.
My game plan was no game plan and to just, you know, have fun.
What do you think it was that ultimately put the target on your back that got you eliminated?
I don't know.
So much, so much different stuff is shown versus portrayed.
And I think that my friendship with Victor definitely had the older women.
There were some eyebrows raised.
But I just think that two traders wouldn't have been talking that much, you know.
I just don't think that made sense.
But yeah, I just think that in the beginning, it's really tough for people to find evidence.
So when you're in that kind of environment where everyone's like really hungry for evidence,
there's not a lot of room for understanding or wanting to understand one another.
But everyone was like really close friends by then.
And yeah.
Did you feel like getting the shield put extra pressure on you at the roundtable?
Or do you feel like that didn't really play a part?
Oh, yes.
Honestly.
Yeah.
People were not loving the shield moment at all.
I feel like you did it in the best possible way.
Yeah.
The thing is no one believed me that I got it last.
So it was like a second thing of like.
not feeling understood and I was like guys like I swear I got it third and no one would believe me
and no one could corroborate the story and I was like are you kidding me so yeah I just feel like
I feel like amongst this group there was a lot of wanting to fit in it was a really fun group
and I really loved the group I still love everyone everyone text all the time there was a lot of wanting
to fit in. So the fact that the challenge was about to end and still no one had gone for that
shield just because they didn't want to piss off the group. At the end of the day, it was a game.
And I was like, you know what? If I go for the shield, like there was eight minutes left.
And no one's getting it. That's just bad gameplay. Like it's a game at the end of the day.
So I was like, if they're hating on that, like they'll come with the other two people first.
We've learned obviously from, you know, interviewing other people on the celebrity
traders that when it comes early on, it's, you know, everyone's just kind of looking for a name
to kind of go after as long as that name is not theirs. Yeah. So it sounded like you just were
the unfortunate person. In no way do I want to keep the momentum running on the Christy hate train.
She's a lovely woman. I just think the conviction she had for me and her confidence and the tears
were like a thousand percent what did it sadly to say and I don't want her getting any more.
I don't want a dog file on her at all. I feel really bad for her and she's been getting a lot
of heat online. Well, that's unfortunate to hear. Are you noticing the discourse getting pretty
toxic pretty fast? Because obviously that was an issue with celebrity traders and I think maybe
the hope was, you know, with this kind of new cast of people, we were not as invested
in, you know, you yet because we don't know you guys as people yet.
So maybe the fans would be more chill where they kind of bring their fandom into celebrity
traders.
But are you telling me that's so far it's not been the case?
Honestly, like what I've been viewing is the Iron Fist has come for Christy.
People are just really gutting for her and not saying nice things.
And I want people to know that I don't promote that.
Like, it's okay.
It's okay.
But I will say a little bit of justice has been served because when I was watching, Justin has been served because when I was watching, I rewound and I was like, did she say that? And I'm like, no, you literally did not say that. And the conviction was wild from Christie. So again, we don't want any hate. I understand misunderstandings happen. But, ooh, I've been seeing it. Crazy. What a sad way to go off. Like, I had a lot of people ask me if I had any regrets. And no.
I have no regrets.
I feel like I have anything wrong.
I don't even think there was anything to go off of.
I think that it was just like a made up thing.
Have you been like itching this whole time?
Like just waiting for the redemption moment.
Have you been just like waiting for this moment and like has it has, have you been anxious
about it or did you know you were going to be like proven innocent?
Oh my God.
I feel like I just woke up from like a.
coma like i've been i've been like in my coffin because like obviously people from the show they don't
know what i said either yeah and we're all like i love them all we're all really close now like a great
group i love everyone but i've been in my coffin just like waiting to be woken up and just like
rise from the dead and be like i told you yes i freaking told you so that like that just that felt really
good. It feels good. Did you get any text messages in the group chat after the show came out?
I've done a couple. I've gotten a couple. What did you think of Kim lying about her profession?
I thought that was really interesting because that to me was the biggest thing that stood out
between the differences between new blood and celebrity traders. You can't do that with celebrity
traders. Everyone kind of comes in with a reputation, a brand lore, you know, and they kind of have
to navigate about that where someone like him, she can be aware of the fact that like, hey,
if people find out I'm a lawyer, that's going to put a target in my back.
Did you think about lying about your profession or just like, what did you think of that
in general and do you think that was smart?
I think that people are so bloodthirsty to catch someone in the lie that for me personally,
I did not want to lie about anything.
There was, I didn't want to give anyone anything to say about me ever.
and like I feel like if you are already lying,
you just, you bring about a vibe
that you're not telling the truth.
When it comes to Kim, though,
I'm seeing a lot of online discourse
about her and the suit.
Everyone's like, why the hell would you wear a suit
if you said you were a coat?
But I honestly, I back him up
because the WNDA,
women come out fresh as hell
to every game.
I always, I love watching women and men's basketball.
And those looks when they're walking to the locker room to change, like, their first walkout.
Like, they're very fresh.
What are they expecting Kim to wear?
Like tear away pants.
I know.
I was, yeah.
I was like, honestly, that checks.
Like, everyone bleeds shoes and coats.
Yeah, they wear a business suit.
That's what the coat.
I know.
I know.
I think she just got lucky that no one went to that call.
Like I feel like that was kind of a gamble.
It was.
Well, if you are going to lie, I think about this, like I'm curious.
I don't know a ton about Kim yet, but maybe she played collegiate ball.
Maybe she has like an extensive background.
Like if you're going to lie and make up a whole story, it has to be like almost true.
You have to be very familiar with it.
You know, like you need to know a lot about it.
You know, maybe maybe she wanted to be a coach in a previous life.
You know what I'm saying?
Like she was larking.
But honestly, we still call her coach Kim in all of our group chats.
She was so ripped.
Like during the mission, like we all had to, you know, change into our stuff.
She was insanely ripped.
So we all, it was like very, it was very valid that she said she was a coach.
Because like, that woman works out.
She's in good shape.
So I was like, damn, like, yeah, that makes sense.
Coach Cam, you know, whatever.
I just think that like, I think she was too likable.
everyone loved her.
That's why my famous mind of I'd feel like shit picking her
is because she was so loved amongst the group.
Like everyone vibe with her.
I really liked her.
I would have genuinely felt like shit picking her.
Like she was really cool and I was sad to see her go.
Dang.
So it seems like the play is to just lay low, huh?
Yeah.
It's damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I wasn't trying to be the loudest in the group.
But when you're the quietest, that's weird too.
It's like, can you say something?
But that damn shield.
And then, yeah, I just think that when you're a woman, everyone's going to have more opinions about you than a man.
So I just think that I was, I tried to be as kind as possible and not be super loud or super quiet.
And then some people were like, I just can't read her about it.
And then some people were like, she's really nice.
And some were just, everyone had an opinion whereas like, no one had an opinion on the men except for Victor because he was seen with me.
So I just think that when it comes to men and women, they get married.
I think that society's opinions play a role.
And I think that just me being seen with Victor and having this, you know, like the romance playing.
I just don't think that as a society, people want to see that.
Clock it, Madeline.
I love everything you're saying.
Literally.
I just think that it's so easy to just come after a woman.
I think you're being very modest and humble about.
how you present yourself too.
Like,
do you think that maybe the fact that like Victor said,
you are easy on the eyes may have played to a disadvantage?
I think that,
thank you.
Ooh.
I don't think that,
um,
me wearing a cat suit and a floor length,
uh,
cheetah leopard trench coat on the first round table held for sure.
We're talking about the cat suit.
It helped for us.
I will be honest.
Hey,
I go a lot.
It was hard.
You know,
I,
again, no regrets.
I went out in style.
If I were to get out any day,
hell yeah,
I would want it to be the cat suit day.
I had my moment in that cat suit.
It was fun.
I'm also like six foot.
So I think that it's with the heels.
Acidation factor.
Yeah.
I'm like 5-11.
So I think with the heels,
like it was hard to miss me.
Like, yeah.
See, Coach Kim,
if she was really a coach,
she would have tried to recruit you.
I know.
What do you do for work outside of being a trader?
I work in construction.
Okay, yeah, that's what I, yeah.
Yeah.
I'm a construction manager.
Yeah.
So cool.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Yeah, I was hard.
I was hard to miss.
And I was definitely a topic of conversation.
And I think that being a woman is very polarizing.
I think that it's hard to not have an opinion about a woman who was, you know, just
like tall and taking up space and that vibe.
And doing, and kind of doing your thing.
not asking for other people's like permission or approval to kind of move how you wanted to move.
And it sounds like that.
Unfortunately, people were intimidated by that.
I think I'm just a confident girl.
And people really wanted me to bend the knee when it came to the round table and just apologize to Christy.
And I was like, I was not having it.
I know who I am.
I'm going to be who I am.
As you should.
I'm just going to stand there and take it.
Like I'm not going to cry.
And I feel like my whole thing was keeping my pride.
Like I could have cried at any moment.
I was, everyone had the chalk for the voting.
And underneath the table, I was ripping it up.
And I was just really trying to hide the panic attack that was happening.
And then when I stood up to tell everyone if I was a traitor or faithful,
there was chalk all down my entire.
Oh.
That's why they didn't show me.
for that long standing up or anything because I was just like look what you guys made me do like
come on like they just went really hard I feel like it was like cruel and unusual um when it's in a
room of 20 versus one like that was definitely difficult to experience for sure well you handled it
with grace and with care so I appreciate that context because I found myself watching at the round
table wanting to be like stick up for yourself a little bit more you and Victor honestly
but I think I'd take for granted and I think the audience takes for granted like how heated those
moments are and if you're not a person who thrives with confrontation, it's just difficult.
Plus like once they're all coming for you, you going down.
Yeah.
Everyone's looking for a reaction.
And however I were to react, once she had spoken up and said that about me, my fate was sealed.
Since no one had any of their evidence against anyone else, I knew I knew I was done.
and when she first came up with that evidence,
it wasn't shown, but I said,
hey, the first thing,
I think what I've been getting online the most is,
it's the fact that you said,
I didn't say that instead of she heard me wrong.
But I led in gracefully,
and I just was trying to be very calm.
And I was like, hey, Christy,
I actually really like you.
And I think you misheard me.
And that's okay.
And she must have heard this.
and I actually said this.
So guys, please don't listen to her.
But when it just kept coming and coming and coming,
like a ton of bricks on me,
I just started doubling down and being like,
I actually didn't say that at all.
So I just really,
they cut out the parts where I was like,
more standing up for myself being like,
I get that the group has nothing to go on.
You guys heard me wrong.
I really think this is going to be a waste.
And I think that, yeah,
the group, the group think just really got out of hand.
Yeah.
And people, however I reacted, people were looking for evidence for me and on me.
However I reacted, would have just handed them more evidence.
If I cried, it would make me seem defensive.
If I started attacking Chrissy back, it would have validated her story.
It would have validated how I'm a meaner person.
And like the whole thing was like when you're going for someone at the table, it's like,
she's not who she thinks she is.
She's not as nice as we thought she was.
So I didn't want to attack anyone for thinking badly about me because I didn't want to validate
their story of I'm different than how I'm presenting.
Like I was presenting exactly how I was and I didn't need to defend when people think that
they know something about you.
Sometimes it's just like wrestling with the picture.
pig and shit. Like the difference is the pig likes it. So if I'm like trying to defend who I have,
like just just be yourself. Like let's what they want to think because the table was not
changing their mind. So I went out with pride. We're sad to see a go. You seem like, uh, you could
have gone really far if you got a better opportunity. Um, but, uh, thanks for taking the time.
Uh, good luck with whatever comes your way following this show. I'm sure we'll see more of you.
But thanks for taking the time. And, uh, maybe they'll have, uh, maybe they'll have,
like a reunion or a reunion or like maybe a second they have brought they have brought early exits back
you know like Dorinda yeah put you back in next season yeah derinda me derinda me yeah take you there
take me all right madeline appreciate you thank you guys all right all right thank you i'm dying to know this
hot take yeah she got sidney sweetied bold statement please expand no because that i i see what you're saying
Here's this beautiful.
She's,
you know,
as Jimmy pointed out,
good looking woman.
She,
she's in construction.
She clearly is like,
it's confident.
She's six foot.
She's doing her thing.
I could see,
especially talking about how in traders,
people are just looking for reasons to hate you,
looking for reasons to say you're different than us.
And you could tell Madden was trying in the nicest possible way
without like talking shit about her peers being like,
yo,
all the other women fucking hated me.
And I think she just got,
I love to see how the dots are being connected.
I don't think it's apples to oranges, but...
Of course it's not apples to oranges.
Like, you know, it's like, you know,
it's like, you know, I hear you on that.
Low keys.
I think she would hate the comparison is what I think.
I'm not saying, I'm not comparing her to Cindy Sweeney.
I am comparing.
Well, what happened to her?
I'm comparing how she is being treated by her peers
because people are just looking at her and deciding
and they're throwing labels on her.
And they're telling who she is and how she represents.
And they're making a bunch of assumptions,
just like how the world.
world is with Cindy Sweeney.
Now, they will say that it's because they believed what the older lady said.
Of course, though.
And her conviction and her vindication and her argument.
But I agree.
Because I even pose the question that I do think that how good look as she is may have actually
been part of her downfall, genuinely.
You don't think she had pretty privilege?
That you don't get pretty privilege in that.
I don't think pretty privilege works here.
Yeah.
No, genuinely.
I think if you stand out, you're on the hot seat.
It works for the boys.
I was going to say, it works for the guys.
It works for Rob Rosh.
I was going to say, honestly, that is my qualm with a lot of, like, social relation reality TV is, like, so many douchebag guys get the past and get, and women are, like, obsessed.
Her little, like, friendship, relationship, fake romance with Victor definitely didn't help either.
I mean, like, here's this, like, young woman, attractive woman working in this male dominated industry as a, like, what a fascinating career she.
brought in and like in a way that wasn't like seen as cool by her peers I think is fascinating.
Okay, do we think that Christy actually thought she heard her confess that? Or do you think
that she took something and ran with it? I think you're so convinced that you're right in that
type of atmosphere. I don't know if she even knew the difference. You know what I'm saying?
I love watching people who are wrong get proven wrong in real time. Me too. Because I get so mad
people die on these hills.
And then like she still tried to like not accept blame or take accountability in the moment.
She's like, I heard what I heard.
I know what I heard.
Yeah.
Just admit you were wrong.
It tickles me.
It tickles me to see justice be served.
Yeah.
Yeah, again, after the whole thing, she's like, I know I heard what I heard.
And it's like, could you not do what you were asking Madeline to do, which was to say,
oh, maybe I misspoke.
Maybe I misheard.
She couldn't do the same thing she was asking Madeline to do.
Mm.
Felt good.
She might be next.
It did feel good.
Well, we also had the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season seven premiere.
And I think the only thing to really say about it, obviously, is like a sad episode.
It focused on the passing of Robert Jr., Mary's son.
I mean, you know, credit to shed media and the women, because there was just no good way to tackle or, you know, this show, obviously, that is centered around drama and interpersonal relationships.
But this obviously was bigger than that and more important.
And it was just great to see these women come together and support Mary in this very, like, tragic and difficult time for Mary.
But it was a sad episode, but it kind of warmed your heart because, you know, there was that moment when Mary, you know, it was very sad to have, you know, hear Mary talk about how some of our family members didn't show up.
But it really goes to show in adulthood, like, you know, the people who really show up for you in bad times, you really know who your people are, you know.
And regardless of, you know, friends, family.
blood, you know, making friends outside of your family.
It is those challenging times where people who choose to show up for you and people who don't
that really let you know where you stand with people.
But other than that, I mean, I just want to give a shout out to all the women who, you know,
showed up for their friend Mary.
And, you know, I think that's the only thing really to dive into this episode of Salt Lake City.
Other than like Browen, who's not only on traders, but she is enjoying her single life,
it seems like.
People are trying,
pretty trying to bring our girl,
Bronwyn down.
I mean,
she's out there.
She's making out with a man.
It sounds like maybe he's still
technically married,
but people are trying to make it
into something it's not
because I'm assuming
brawin, a public figure.
For those of who don't know
we're talking about,
she was out in public at,
what was she?
The U.S. Open.
She was kissing a man.
Obviously, she's single.
Everyone's going to notice
when she is,
you know,
kissing someone in public.
Apparently he is
allegedly still married.
And now people are running with that
and trying to make it a nefarious.
But no way Browen, Newport,
is making out with a known married man
who is in committed relationship.
I just don't think she would do that.
I don't know her very well,
but maybe she turned heel.
I think she's very smart and self-aware.
So I say good for you, Browen, you know?
Because she's technically married
as we found out this episode.
Divorce takes forever, you know?
It takes forever.
It takes two people
want to work that shit out. Who is her husband?
Todd. Why does Todd have so much motion of his own? Like, who is Todd?
Some sort of tech millionaire. There it is. Okay. Yeah.
It is. That'll do it. Yeah. All right. Well, I think that will do it for today's episode, guys.
Thank you to our guest, Tyler and Sharna from Dancing with the Stars. Also, Madeline from Trader's New Blood.
We appreciate them, and we appreciate you guys listening. We'll see you back on Thursday. Bye-bye.
