All right, everybody. Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Vile Files Reality Recap Edition.
I'm your host, Nick, joined by my perfect and wonderful wife, Nelly Joy. What does that look for?
You're drinking a Celsius. You're drinking a Celsius for the first time, and I'm a little scared. Should I be scared?
Not a fan. Did you just roll your eyes at me, Jimmy? Yeah, I'm team coffee. You know that. We get caffeinated the natural way.
Okay, so you feel like I'm going to blast off out of this chair at some point? Is Celsius an alt to coffee?
Yeah, it's just like a hybrid between Monster and Red Bull.
It's supposed to be a little bit healthier because it's less calories, but it's still just artificial caffeine.
It says no artificial colors, Jimmy, and no aspartame.
Whatever.
And no sugar.
Honestly, they actually, they show love to influencers.
So you know what?
Love you, Sousis.
Yeah, wait.
Wait a second.
They brought me to plenty events, actually.
I haven't kind of an embarrassing story.
I got in a fight with a friend over video games.
And it's kind of an Emma the asshole.
And it's also like, I just feel very vulnerable right now.
But I want to hear your opinion.
Nally's heard the story, but I want to hear Nally's opinion too in real time.
And then anyone who wants to participate.
We also have a jam-packed episode.
Sarah Jane Nader sadly was eliminated week one.
But she is with us to talk about still her experience
and recap last night's amazing Dancing with the Stars episode.
A little nervous about our boy Tyler in the bottom three.
Bottom three was a little scary.
Why they do them like that?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I felt like it was so good.
Let's save it.
Okay.
Let's save it.
We're saving for Sarah Jane.
We also have from Roney, Real Housewives of NYC.
Aaron Leachie is with us after a very spicy episode.
I felt like she was really in it.
I feel like she got the short end of the stick.
Anyways, we have Aaron with us to talk about everything that's going on.
in the Rony world.
We also have internet personality.
Eric Sedanio, he's a huge reality,
specifically real Housewives fan,
and he is with us to talk a little Roney,
a little OC, some Ultimate Girls Trip,
also some Salt Lake City to round out the episode.
So it's jam-packed.
All right, I gotta get to like my...
I think I've told you guys,
but I've been playing a little video games.
It's like, it's a...
I think I told you guys.
They know.
They know.
It's a hobby.
I haven't had a lot of...
No, I am glad that.
you have a hobby. It's a hobby. Listen, I nerd out. And you're surrounded by women all the time.
Like, I get that you want to have some bro guys. Talk some sports, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Thank you.
You're welcome. I understand. This is important for me to watch. Like, Natalie, I appreciate you
understanding this. Well, I want to say and disagree with me. But I, I get my choice. I do think he is an
absolute nerd freak for play. Let's get that clear. Which is okay. That's fine. I don't know.
I also, Jimmy, I get my chores done.
I get my chores done.
My responsibilities as a father.
He did the other day.
He did like a day game.
And I was like, whoa, like all three babies are awake.
This hobby is a nighttime hobby.
This is an after all kids are asleep hobby.
So anyways.
But yes.
And so I got into this league.
My friend Tanner from Bachelor Nation got me into this league.
And then he, and it's a pretty intense league.
There's 32 players.
It's like everyone has a team.
And, you know, and it's, they nerd out, right?
But they only really.
guy I know is Tanner and he put me in this group chat with his two of his buddies. So it's like
and we kind of help each other out and they give me tips and it's kind of like I don't really
know any of these other guys. You kind of coordinate games. But like so it's like a little,
it's a little us against them, right? Like we're we're kind of nerding out in our own little
group, right? And we kind of compete against these other guys, right? And it's a, it's silly,
it's fun. It's it we, it's literally childish. It is so, I mean, again, I feel I feel like I'm in
high school with my, my boys again. The group chat has.
a name. You need an outlet though. It's okay to escape and feel like a kid again. This is,
this is healthy. But it's silly and it's fun. The group chat has a name and boys is spelled with a
Z. And there's three of them. There's three Zs. Crazy. Fuck yeah. I didn't. I didn't name it.
They want to get me, because you can talk to each other through the controller, but it sounds
shitty. And they're like, they're on my ass to get a headset and they're sending me a link. I'm like,
guys, if I order this and it shows up my door and my wife sees it, like, I won't get laid
for a month. You might be in too deep at that point. So I haven't ordered it and they're mad at
me because I don't want her to see me wearing a headset. You got to up the chores. You got to,
if you vacuum and do the dishes, you get the headset. So I have a, I have a friend. He used to be
my roommate. He's been a lifelong friend. I've known him for over 20 years. This friendship in the past 20
years, the friendship is mostly centered around. I really talked to him about the Packers and the
brewers. And that boundary in our friendship has allowed that friendship, honestly, to last 20 plus
years. And I think when it comes to a dollar, you know, like, we have a lot going on, but like, it's,
it's worked for that relationship. My friend, he was my roommate back in the day. And we had,
this is like 20 years when I was really into Madden and we had like a tournament. It was like 12 of us.
And we competed and we would fight, right? It was stupid. Like, we'd get into it, right? And it was like,
maybe kind of fun back then, but not really.
Were y'all betting on it, like putting money on it, or is it just for the love of the game?
No, no, it was just like, yeah.
That makes it even better.
And this friend, he's been, he's been trying to get me to join, like, to play video games for a long time.
And I was like, I don't know, no, like, I think, let's just talk about the Packers.
And these guys were looking for another player.
So I invited my friend.
And I was like, you know, it'll be fun.
It'll be fun to have a man.
I was like, you know.
And a week in, we get into a disagreement.
So I want to spare the details, but because it's, I can't, I can't talk so much nerd with you.
But basically I was like, hey, help me out here.
Because, and he was like, absolutely not.
Like, and he started, like, arguing with me about, like, the semantics of like, he got into, like,
video game talk.
And I was like, whoa, like, yo, like, this is just, like, silly fun.
No, he's like, there's an etiquette we abide by.
And I was like, I'm not here to compete with you, bro.
Like, I was bringing in a, like, this group of guys, we're helping each other out.
And it got like weird fast.
And immediately I was like, I regret asking you to be in this league.
You said that?
Yeah.
Oh.
Right off the rip.
Yeah.
Poor guy.
That would hurt.
That would hurt.
I'd like, fuck you too then.
He's an adult man.
Like, you're acting.
It's a squashable beef, easily squashable, but in the moment.
But I was right off the jump.
I was just like, I was just like, I'm not trying to, like, yo, you're ruining this for me.
But that's like the meanest thing you could have said.
That's like saying everyone thinks.
this about you. It's the equivalent. No, I was only speaking for myself and I didn't want him
in the league anymore. It's fair. Like, I don't, I applaud you for speaking your truth and just
being like, yo, by the way, wish this never even happened. It's cutthroat, but it's just more like,
I have this little hobby that my wife graciously has allowed me to nerd the fuck out. It's,
it causes me no stress. And the only, it's just fun shit. A week in. No stress is crazy. No,
but it's fun stress. It's competitive. It's silly. It's like, it's, it's, it's dumb.
And a weekend inviting this friend, I feel like I'm 25 years ago, I'm like a 20 year old again
arguing about this dumbest shit. And I'm like, I can't, I can't do it. And he's like, yeah,
you need him to be a good hang. You wanted to invite him in so you just be a good hang and, you know,
uplift the vibes and he zapped him. And I know, I know he enjoyed, I know he appreciated me
asking and I know it definitely hurt his feelings. I was like, no, get the fuck out.
But like he
No I'm not in response
Because if we start arguing about it
He'll start arguing about the game
The video game
You honestly I think
You invited the wrong friend
Yeah no I had again
This friendship lasted as long as it has
Because I've had some very like specific boundaries
About like how we hang
And I didn't trust my gut
But am I the assail for saying
So yeah I was just say the question is
Are you the asshole
Because I said right off of
Probably.
Yeah.
Low-key.
You definitely could have been nicer.
But, like, as dudes, like, I don't know, Tanner or the other guy you invited.
He invited me.
Well, the guy you invited on.
Yeah.
Your friend.
He should get over that.
He'll be all right.
And if he doesn't, like, grow up.
I don't know.
Yeah.
It's over a video game, right?
So, like.
No, he feels the same way about that, but we just have different points of view while we're.
He thinks I'm asking him to say.
He's going to hold the grudge.
Yeah.
he just wants to argue about Madden.
He wants to argue about the game.
And I'm like, I don't want no.
Yeah, he's not being a bad hang.
All right.
Imagine if you were like, well, imagine if you were like,
you're like, I'm sorry, I invited you.
This is on me.
You weren't meant for this.
You weren't built for the moment.
Or it's just like, you just like brought it on yourself.
All of them are.
It's just like I got this little, I got this thing.
I tried to, you know, it was working for me.
I got a little greedy.
And yeah, when it comes in my,
adult relationships like it's either it works for me or it doesn't and I just I don't have the
fucking time dude that's interesting because what's more important having the adult male friendships or
having the hobby that you can escape to like which one is more important well again I have these
adult male friendships in this group and again it was like chill vibes that we're all just helping
each other out and like we're all like again we're kind of all like on the same team when even though
we kind of once in a while compete against each other and I was like in this and this was different
So then I tried to explain it to him
I was like yeah this is
This is not what this is
I was like this isn't what this is
Like it's like we we all help each other out
And he was like still like arguing with me
About like the merits of how we run our fake team
And I was like bro I don't like
Yeah he he took it too far
You still were probably the asshole
But he did too much
It was so it was probably warranted
Anyway up next we have Sarah Jane Nader
From Dancing with the Star
to talk about her experience on Dance with the Stars,
as brief as it was.
Obviously, we were very sad to see her go,
but we want to talk all about the experience in general,
also talk about last night's amazing episode with Sarah Jane,
and she is up next.
But before we get to Sarah Jane,
don't forget the Valfa Plus is available.
It's rocking and rowing with Jimmy is now part of the ValfaS Plus crew.
We dive deep into all things, reality TV topics,
pop culture topics.
We also have her pop extra episodes
where we review the what's going on in pop culture,
or all sometimes we just wax poetic about life or fatherhood or just getting the weeds with us.
All episodes on Valf House Plus are ad free if you love that sort of thing.
You also have your update special where your favorite update calls from your favorite Ask Nick episodes.
So check it out this week.
I'm sure we'll dive more deep into Dancing with the Stars.
Lots of lots going on in the housewife world to break down.
Maybe we'll learn out on some more mad and stuff.
Who's your quarterback?
I'm the Packers, bro.
Jordan Love.
All right, Sarah Jane Nader, she's up next.
Sarah Jane Nader, welcome back to the show.
How are you?
Thank you. I'm good. I'm great. How are you?
Well, we're sad that you are not on Dancing with the Stars anymore.
I know. It was a quick and fun run.
Everyone was like, oh, I want to come to the second show, the third show.
I was like, so there's no more shows for me.
But I had a lot of fun.
What was that experience like? I mean, obviously it's a very large cast and a
Great cast.
And that first week was kind of no holds bar, kind of the way they did it.
It was definitely like someone was going to be rarely unlucky because, yeah, like it takes
time to have the audience kind of get to know you.
But were you nervous going in feeling like this, there was a possibility?
I think with shows like this, everyone's kind of like, just don't go home night one.
But like, how did you feel going in?
Yeah.
Honestly, Haley and I had so much fun.
And I think I'm a Pisces, so I'm a little delusional.
and I was just like, oh, this is so fun.
We worked really hard, but I was just, like, enjoying every moment.
Like, GMA was so surreal.
Doing all of the, like, press for it and everything was so, like, I was getting text
from family members I haven't spoken to in years.
It was like, I can't wait to watch you.
So it was a really, like, fast, surreal experience leading up to the first show.
And I was just so excited, like, to do our fun dance because, I mean, you saw our dance.
It was just fun.
Like, it wasn't so serious.
And so I honestly was not, I should have been, clearly, but was not nervous.
about elimination because it also didn't register to me like I wasn't thinking oh this is a competitive
game show I was just like enjoying every moment and Haley and I like went to Halloween horror nights
and like then would go to practice like we we worked really hard and put in all the hours but we were
just having so much fun that like I kind of forgot it was a game show and it was it was really cool
because I was also getting so many messages that were like oh like I'm part of the queer
community and I feel represented so I was like this is just such a rush of like joy and happiness
that I wasn't going in thinking like,
oh, somebody's getting eliminated tonight.
Until I was standing with the other couples
who were getting potentially eliminated,
I was like, oh, wait, I could go home.
So, yeah, it didn't clock to me until the moment,
which is honestly better.
No, that's great.
I'm so glad to hear that you were like,
it sounds like you were really in the moment
and enjoyed all the greatness that is
to just be a part of that experience
because, you know, sometimes you can be so nervous
about the result that you don't really take it all in.
And I think I, you know,
I struggled with that, to be honest.
So that's awesome that you were able to do that.
Your family really celebrated you after.
Yeah, honestly.
I mean, they were like so ready.
They literally had like cups, monogrammed cups.
It was like Slaley, like Dancing with the Star, Sarah Jane that arrived yesterday.
And we were like dying laughing because we're, our family.
The thing is, and you know this because you've met all my sisters and my parents.
Yes.
We make a joke out of everything.
So like even if it's like the darkest, saddest.
thing that could happen, we will always be laughing about it, which I love. Some people are like,
this is too far, but I love it. And I think humor is like the cure to everything. And so literally,
as I was getting eliminated, I caught like my sister's eyes. I caught Brooks's eyes. And I was like,
never going to hear her at the end of this. No, her crossing out the menu, the dinner menu that you
had said that was like Sarah Jane's first dance and she crossed it out and says last.
Literally. No, I crossed it out with Luflight. I was like, I'm just,
going to lean into the humor of it all. They quickly change their shirts to just Sarah Jane
from vote for Sarah Jane. And like, I think as fun and like I took this opportunity so serious.
And so I definitely was disappointed. But that night like was so funny to be honest. And I think that
like I'm so grateful that I have three crazy sisters and two fun parents because if I had just
been like, oh, I'm so sad, it would have just been like, you know, not a fun night. But it ended up
being really fun night. Well, that's awesome. You still got to enjoy it. Do you have, now that you
are no longer part of the competition, do you have a couple of the couples that you're rooting for
are just excited to watch? How has it been from the sidelines? I mean, everyone in the cast is so,
like, such good people. And I got really close to everyone in the weeks leading up. And so,
I mean, Mara and Mark are such, like, incredible, both incredible dancers. And Mark's choreography is so
fun to watch. So I really enjoyed watching them. And Mark would even come in and like help us with
our routine. But everyone on the cast, honestly, like Guillermo, I obviously have a relationship with
through Jimmy. And so I'm just enjoying watching everyone. Yeah. Yeah. I don't even know if I could pick a
favorite because everyone is so like different. And it's just been fun to watch their dances even last night.
Well, speaking of last night, well, I guess we'll start with our board Tyler. What did you think of
Tyler's dance? I thought it was great. I, I text him. He still got it. Because
like, you know, he was telling me he was out of shape, but he took a shirt off and...
Oh, no.
Better than me.
Not out of shape at all.
Better than me.
He looked great.
But the judges, unfortunately, they did not appreciate all the throwing and tossing and
turning.
Tomatoes.
Now he went on in the comments because, like, we interviewed Tyler and Sharna on Tuesday, and
we are asking him about like the spins and tosses and how like sometimes that doesn't vibe
with the judge's scores.
But, you know, it was like, hey, we do it for the fans.
But now he was telling me.
The fans in the comments are like, I agree with the judges.
This was not a tango.
Like they're getting technical here.
This was not a salsa.
This was just lifts.
Like, how dare you?
I agree with them.
Crazy.
Everybody's a critic nowadays.
It's like, right.
I know.
Everybody's an expert.
Everybody's a critic.
I think I have no idea, like the technicality of it all.
Like, I just got to learn jive.
And I did a little bit of tango because, you know, we thought we'd be on week two.
But I have no idea, like the rules and all of that stuff.
like I don't even know like I think it's fun to watch lifts and I love that and I loved watching
their dance I feel like the judge's comments always surprise me because it's like something that like
I hadn't noticed about a dance and so and I think that there's a lot of kind of group mentality of like
maybe one judge said something and then the other say it or like a judge says something and then
an audience member who might have loved the dance is like you're right yeah mind I hate this dance
And so I think there's a lot of that going on, but like they looked like they were having a blast.
And I feel like that's like that's a win.
I did love.
I mean, he did the like off campus, Garrett Graham, like the dance that he did that he kind of got like.
It was very controversial.
It was either everyone loved it or they were like, this is the ickyest thing I've ever seen.
Tyler did the exact same thing, which I thought was like very funny and very cool.
I love that dance.
Like every time he comes in my 40 page, I'm like, oh, dance.
Yeah, like whoever does it is like immediately hot.
I will say the judges like they're, you know, and they're part of the show and sometimes
I don't think they sometimes take unfair heat, you know, because I think they're grading
on a curve and I think they're setting up.
It's like sometimes you see the scores, you know, and you're like, how is that score not
as good as the other score?
But, you know, I think they're grading on a curve for each performance because, you know,
it motivates votes and it gets people passionate.
Because like wasn't Connor Wood in the bottom three last week?
Yeah.
And now he's not, right?
You know, like, so maybe his fans were like, yo, fuck, we need to, we need to step up and we need to, like, support our boy.
But I also feel like it's not, they were, you know, the judges were saying like, oh, this wasn't very salsa-y.
Like, that's not Tyler's fault.
And I guess we're voting for him and Sharna, but, like, I feel like we shouldn't, right?
Like, it's not the celebrity's fault that the dance wasn't as, like, they don't know.
It's on the pro, right?
I mean, like, yeah.
I can tell you from having done it.
I don't know how it was for you, but when they're giving you your, like, critiques,
like, you're pretending to be like, oh, yeah, yeah, for sure, and I'll take that note.
But you have, like, they're speaking Greek.
You know, you're just like, yeah, sure.
I'll remember to do that next time.
Right.
Yeah.
I think the scoring is, like, too, like you said, I feel like everyone's hard on the judges.
But, like, it's not just, like, there's so many factors that play into.
And that's what I was understanding, like, going into the first and last show was that, like,
yes, it's a popularity contest. Yes, it's a contest of who can choreograph the best as a pro. Yes,
it's a contest of like how many people you can get to actually like mobilize and vote, but also like
if the judges are going to like it. And so I think it's so out of your control and like accepting that.
Like it's out of my control, but it's also to an extent out of Haley or the pros control. And so
like there's just so many factors. And I think that's why going into it. And Brooks, I feel lucky
because Brooks had kind of briefed me on that of like, just enjoy it.
because the competition of it all,
it's like,
this isn't something
you have control over, really,
and you can try your best
and be proud of what you did,
but that's about it.
And so going into it,
I was like, you know what,
I'm just gonna enjoy it.
And like, I'm a competitive person,
but like more so when it comes to like,
things with my sisters,
not in terms of like games.
Like,
I'm not an Olympian.
I'm not an athlete.
And so I really like,
feel like I didn't even have a chance
to get super competitive
because it was like one show.
But I just wanted to be proud
of what I did.
And I walked away
feeling proud. And so I was like, you know what, I got to say my thing in the skybox. I got to do a
fun little dance with a woman on this huge platform. Like, I feel like I did my job. Win, win, win, win.
Just to the group, what were some of the other dances that stood out to you guys? Amber Glenn and
Ezra, the two Olympians killed it. Yeah. Ezra having cha cha cha and Daniela being like, this is going to be
your hardest dance and him absolutely crushing. I mean, is just like, it was just, it was, it was,
wild to watch.
It's hard for me not to think how Ezra doesn't win this thing.
Because like every time he dances, I'm just very much looking forward to it with
some, you know, because every new dance is like, there's always this like, first of all,
can he do it?
And when he does, and there's a belief that he can, it's always been, it's incredible.
And inspirate, you know, like when I was there night one and got to see him dance, it was,
I mean, it's like, it's hard not to get choked.
And like also the nicest person.
We always had practice next to him.
And like him and Danielle and Haley and I would like go eat snacks in the common area.
And like he's just the nicest, most genuine person.
And then to watch him on the dance floor.
And like his whole story is just so incredible.
Like it's, I mean, I think everyone in America is rooting for him, like in general.
Who do you guys think was most improved from first week one to week two?
The streets are saying that it was Tatiana.
I do feel like Tatiana.
improved a lot. And I feel like she is really committed and like working so hard. And I saw that
firsthand. And I feel like it really paid off in week too just with like hitting every, you know,
move. I felt like Sierra's was like, um, I think hers really popped. I like I relate like,
I think she got a lot of like feedback because like she, she spoke about how nervous she was.
Again, like if I think people really underestimate. I don't know how it was for you, Sarah Jane. But
to like, there's like dancing at a wedding and being goofy and fun and there's ballroom dancing
and the technique and the steps and like you're learning so much in such a short period of time
and then you're nervous and you go on the dance floor and then it's live and like I always look
scared and like that's, you know, and that so much of these performance is to look like you're
having fun and look like you're in the moment and it's so hard to do and you saw Sierra like really
you could tell that she was focused on, you know, like that kind of energy.
because it, and that's part of it, right?
Like, that is, it's, I think, the hardest part.
Did you struggle with the facial expressions?
Facial expressions?
No.
Yeah.
I definitely, like, it's, and you've probably experienced this, Nick,
like, you rehearse it so many times,
and even on the day you do, like, camera blocking,
and then you do a dress rehearsal,
and it's like you can't really,
or I felt like I couldn't control
that, like, the actual run of when it was live
was, like, not my best run technically
and, like, with all the things I was supposed to remember, you know?
and footwork and all that, but I felt like,
I felt like I was just like in it.
Like I, I didn't struggle so much to like, yeah,
have fun with it.
Like, I didn't really care if I messed up,
but obviously I did afterwards,
but I was just like, let's keep going.
Like I wasn't like.
Yeah.
But I think to me that's like the most,
maybe it's because I've done it.
I think that's one of the most interesting things
to look for because like that is part of it.
And I think that is a skill just like learning the steps
or having rhythm and things like that
is the ability to like, you know,
connect with your partner
and like perform because obviously all the pros they're so they don't look like they're dancing as
much as like in a technical way they look like they're just you know putting like yeah like they're
putting on this art form in a way and when you know and present you know each it's and that to me is
something I'm always mesmerized because it was so hard for me and and you credit to Sierra because
you could see I think real growth in that and part in that part of her performance yeah I felt like
Like a lot of people said online that Haley and I's dance felt like when to like when you and your
sibling or friend are like performing to have a sleepover for your parents. And like that's what I felt
like it was like. Like I was like because we used to do that all the time. I'd be like can we go roll
this person's house or can we have a sleepover? You know, she stay longer. And we would literally
put on like crazy. I remember one time it was like it was like a really dirty song like a Lady Gaga song.
It was like if you seek Amy.
by Britney Spears.
And like, we didn't know that that's what she was saying.
But we're like, you know, it's doing the whole thing and all these crazy moves at like six years old.
Yes.
F you see.
Literally.
Literally.
But that's what it felt like being in the ballroom.
I was like, I want to have a sleep ever.
You know?
That's low key.
Like, I get frustrated with the judges.
Here I am judging the judges.
But like, because I feel like it's naturally like we get critical when people are like too stiff and like you're nervous.
But like when you do let loose and like you do have.
fun as a viewer, that's the engaging part.
And then they tell them to rein it in.
And it's like trying to find that.
The judges are part of production.
And there's a method to their madness about getting people like activated, right?
They want a response, you know.
It's such a vulnerable endeavor, though, like not having a dancing background to like perform on a stage like that.
I just applaud the ability to let loose like that.
But Carrie Ann is is an unappreciated part of dancing with.
star she because she's oh you know she's like the simon cow she's the most critical but like that's such
an important part i think of the judges and i think she gets shit on way too much speaking of like last
on the last night no Tuesday nights they had to have one judge give one word because there's so many
people there's like not enough time for each judge to give their whole spiel and for i think it was
taylor hans but she was writing so many notes carry ann did not look up from that notebook
And she knew she was the one that would have to give one word.
And so I'm like, what is she writing?
And she goes, frenetic.
And I was like, she had to been writing.
Like, what is the definition to frenetic?
What is, how do you say?
Like, it was crazy.
I had to look it up.
That's a challenge.
Yeah.
I'm still captivated by Harry Schum when he, I know we're grading on a curve here.
But like, when he like yelled, like, I felt that through the screen.
Like, I got to chill.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's tough.
He's an amazing performer.
and like the heartbeat thing.
I was like, this is, wow.
No, he can do all the things when I was a kid that wanted to dance
and all like the bot, like I've, my whole life.
We were all watching that backstage.
Like, oh my God.
I want to be able to, I've always wanted to do that.
Yeah.
So he's incredible.
Sarah Jane, before we let you go,
obviously you and your sisters have filmed season two of Love Thigh Nader.
What can we expect?
Are you excited for people to see it?
Like what, give us a little tease on Love Vanator.
Yeah, I mean, I hope we'll all be back.
in here with you guys when season two comes out.
That's entirely up to you guys.
I mean, if you guys, and I feel like we talked so much about season one and like the kind
of unhingedness of it all when we were with y'all, I feel like season two is just that
on insane steroids.
Like we were warming up season one.
And I think season two, we were all even like too comfortable, like being fully ourselves
and like whatever that means.
Like it's, I think all the things you see of like me doing dancing with the stars or like
our summer vacies, whatever it is.
it's like all kind of just explained and like it's like more context for our family and the why the
why the way of like why we are the way we are and I think it's just more of everything like there's so
much drama there's so many stakes of like it got serious like in life and also with our relationships
and I think we just show it all and so I'm really excited but also I think more nervous for season
two for people to see because it's a whole new level of vulnerability
and like just you know access into our lives but I think that that's the whole point and I'm really proud of what we've done and we're still doing a little here and there of like picking up these post dancing with the stars and I launched a collection with Express today and so we're like they're following those kinds of things but season two is definitely going to be like you're going to want to watch the whole thing in one sitting.
Wait did they follow y'all to Europe on this yacht that y'all have been partying spending the summer on?
They've captured yeah they've captured pretty much.
everything since last season. So you're going to see it all. How are your parents? Tell them I said hi. I love
them. Oh my God. They're so great. They were just in town for dancing. They were planning on staying
more weeks. But they my mom is still here. She's like, you know, walking around Century City because
she loves it's outside and she thinks that's the coolest thing in the world. And they're doing all the
touristy things. They literally went on a tour bus the other day. We were like, guys, do we need to still
do this? They love it. They're so cute. And Mary Holland's in her dating.
single era or like what's going to? Oh my god, yes. She's like, she's a whole new level of single. Yeah, she's out and about. She's also in her founder mode. Yes, okay. Launching Mary and Pep. We're all kind of like in our different lanes, but like the lanes are, you know, always budding and crossing. Yes, of course. They have to be. Of course. Yeah. Sarah Jane, it's always great to catch up with you. When Love That Nader Season 2 comes out, please bring the whole family back. It's always great to catch up with you. We're so sad that you didn't get to go longer on dancing with the stars.
But thank you for coming in and chatting with us about it.
Of course.
Of course.
Just best of luck.
We love you guys.
We'll love you guys.
We'll fill the couch next time.
Yes, please do.
All right.
Bye, Sarah Jane.
Yay.
Thank you.
Eric, welcome to the show.
Hi, guys.
How's it going?
We're great.
How are you?
I'm so excited to be on the Vile Files today.
Like, it's going to be so much fun, you guys.
Well, we're very excited to have you.
Obviously, you're very popular on the internet.
And they love your take specifically around just pop culture.
and reality TV.
And so we wanted to...
He's funny.
He's popular.
He's hot.
One more time.
One more time.
Got a great jacket.
Great style.
Great mustache.
Incredibly jealous, by the way.
Sierra and Susie couldn't be with us today.
So we're like, let's bring on Eric and join the club.
So welcome to the household, Eric.
We're happy to have you.
Thank you guys so much.
What a warm welcome.
So excited.
We have Aaron Leachie coming up to talk about the last night's episode of Real Housewives
of Roney.
Real Housewives of Roney.
Real Housewives of Roney.
I feel like I give it a new name.
You do.
You said the real house lives in New York City.
Whatever.
Roney, you know, whatever.
How are you feeling about the reboot, Eric?
And before we get to Aaron, where do you stand on last night's episode?
Okay, so I'm actually really excited.
I feel like this season really started with The Bang.
And like the last two seasons, I think was like them getting their footing a little
more.
And for some reason, this one just feels like they got the cast really like perfect,
which I'm super excited about.
I'm really excited about a fight with Jessel.
Like love a fight.
with Jessel. I think she's so funny. And I think she's like perfectly like housewife like cookie,
like out of touch in a good way. I don't know. She's British. Like there's so much going on there
for a fight with Jessel. And I'm loving the new girls like roller skating in the middle of the
street in New York. Like girl, just do whatever. Oh, the Martha Stewart's like makeup artist.
Like, oh my God. Like this is so. That's so sick. It's so cool. Like I'm like I love the diversity in like
the new girls that they've added in.
They're like, they're kooky in their own special way.
And I think that's what we've been like looking for as an audience.
Yeah, they are a lot of fun.
Where do you stand on the Aaron and Jessel of it all?
So Aaron was talking shit about Jessel.
So I feel like Jessel was like valid.
She does have a right.
She does have a right to be mad.
You know, like, you would be mad too, right?
Literally.
And Aaron being like, I do think that about you.
Her being like, I did say that.
And I do think that.
but I'm your friend.
Like, I'd be pissed too.
I love that.
Stand on that.
But I feel like it's one of those things.
They just got to move past.
They just got to remember
that their sisters and move past it.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, but I, you know, I just, the,
the Jessel accusing Aaron of, of a literal crime
by saying she's part of, like, some sort of scheme.
A Ponzi scheme.
A Ponzi scheme.
Like, I feel like there's, there's petty fights,
and then there's accusing your peer of criminal activity.
Like, or do you,
Do you feel like it's all fair in love and Bravo?
I don't know.
It is kind of...
I feel like all the housewives kind of lie on each other like that.
And then it like, I don't know.
Like in Atlanta, I feel like they're always like saying that they like slept with another man's husband or something.
And it's always like a lie or like a reach.
And so like that's like this is like the New York version.
I mean, it's like it's definitely taboo.
But like you can't get arrested from for...
What did she say?
She didn't say.
She said something Ponzi scheme.
It was like bootleg Ponzi scheme.
Right?
Yeah, but it was kind of suggesting they were.
PG-13 Ponzi scheme.
We'll obviously talk more about it.
Aaron is here.
So let's bring her on.
And maybe we can get more tea from Aaron talking about Real Housewives of New York.
Aaron, welcome to the show.
How are you?
Hi, I'm great.
How are you guys?
We're great.
First of all, you look fabulous in cheek and your background is dope.
Thank you.
It's very New York of you.
Yeah.
It's very, listen, this is like my.
office slash my closet so I got to have the shoes out ready to go ready to go we were just talking about
your fight with jessel and how she called you what a one woman Ponzi scheme was that what it was guys
yeah a one man Ponzi scheme which is like like the antithesis of what a Ponzi scheme is just a scammer
well there is that it's very funny I was saying how you seem like you have a good sense of humor
about it but like I feel like when it comes to housewives I feel like there's talking some shit
spreading some rumors and then there's like accusing your peers of criminal behavior and it feels
like a bridge too far for me but like maybe oh okay so you're yeah because it kind of feels fucked
up no no no i said that i watched what happens live yeah i thought that was you know what like she
apologized she did apologize for it at a certain point but like watching it and seeing how flippant
she was to make fun of like my house flooding and it just it really rubby the wrong way yesterday i i i really
did. I thought it was really below the belt and it's just not on the same level as being like,
oh, she's thirsty. She's phony, which she is, by the way. So I didn't say anything wrong there.
But like it was gross. Like it was gross. You know, there are plenty of things I could say to that
nature and I never would. So gross that like we're not like on good speaking terms in the moment or
all fair and loving brother. After watching it, I have no interest in speaking terms or not.
Not at this moment. Okay. Not at this moment.
Wait, Aaron. So hi, I'm Eric. I'm a huge fan of the show.
Hi. You're so cute.
Like, I just wanted to say, like, I know it's not fun for you, but it's fun for all the viewers that you and Jessel are fighting.
Like, it's so fun that you guys are fighting. And has it been going on for, like, a really long time?
Like, are we going to see in the season that you guys, like, kind of find a sisterly love again and kind of come together and come apart?
I can't say. But it does. It is a little bit of a roller coaster. It's a roller coaster. And I think you
guys really need to like as viewers be patient because I mean you guys know this watching reality TV but like as
each episode unfolds so much changes and like so much is uncovered so you might think you understand
something but then another episode will come through and you'll be like oh wow that was very different
than what I thought it was how did you how did you feel about sigh and jessel at the top of the season was that
like a big shock like were you really taken aback yeah I just like it never
occurred to me that they were best friends.
Like I understood that they were friendly.
I mean, we all were, you know,
but it seemed strange.
Aaron, I'm curious.
There's been so much discourse about just Rony in general
from the reboot and how people felt about it.
It feels like a lot of people are loving this season.
And I'm just curious, someone who has been, you know,
part of this transition and you were on last season.
Do you feel a difference in energy,
just looking at the entire cast in the season?
Like, yeah, how does it feel?
for you. It feels very, very different. It feels like people are invested, like whether they're making
nice comments all the time or harmful, like it doesn't even matter to us, I think, because, well,
it might be some people, but to me, I'll speak for myself. I am just so excited that people are
invested in our show. And like, I feel like the potential has finally been met. And, you know,
we have a great new additions. We have Carol, who fits in really well. She's one of my closest friends.
And I just, it just feels right, you know, and it's really exciting.
Have you talked to Bryn at all?
Do you know what she's doing?
Oh, no.
She doesn't speak to any of us.
She does not speak to any.
I saw, like, she posted something about it being boring.
We're like, dude, this is like the highest rated.
She, like, tweeted, like, I heard it's boring without me.
And then everyone looked around like, who said that?
Everyone's like, oh, that's why it's number one on Peacock for like three weeks.
I don't know what you're talking about.
Wow.
Do you think Jessel thinks she's better than everyone else?
In a way, yes.
You know what?
And whether she's doing it on purpose or if it's just like an act,
I'm really not sure.
I can't fully understand it.
But it feels demeaning.
Like even when she was ordering the water.
And I don't know if she meant to be like that,
but she was like, water.
I remember sitting there being like,
oh, I just didn't hear you.
You know, like I don't know that she means it.
I don't, I don't know because I can't really tell what her intentions are.
Sometimes it comes off that way, yes.
The internet feels like she's been a little scripted with her one-liners.
Do you feel that way as well?
Yeah.
The one-man Ponzi scheme and the Houdini, like both in the same breath.
I was like, what?
You can write these down.
Do you think those are all hers or do you think she has some kind of creative team?
I literally could not tell you.
I know that she is a PR girl.
She likes to call herself.
So I feel like they have a lot of, I don't know, like access to the, I'm like not.
I'm so different than that.
Like I don't come from that world.
They come from like a professional background.
So I don't know about that stuff.
I say whatever the hell I think.
You think this is who she is or she's being performative?
I mean, listen, I'll, I'll give her the fact that we all understand the assignment, right?
Like we're not sitting there and twiddling our thumbs and like eating croissants.
Like we're engaging.
Exactly.
I just think that sometimes it's coming off a little, I don't know, I don't want to say too much.
But, I mean, you guys have your own opinions, right?
And everybody else online seems to have a similar one.
So I'll let it just stay there.
Haley, Daisy, and Erica are three of the new cast members.
I'd love if I could get a one word description to describe your three new cast members.
Oh, that's a good one.
one word description.
You also can elaborate.
I don't want to limit you,
but if you want to be punchy.
Well, Daisy's loyal.
Okay.
She's loyal.
She's funny.
And she's a wild card.
Haley is like out to lunch,
I think, in a good way,
even though she's a little bit of a bitch to me.
And Carol is Carol.
There's no, like, I can't put any words.
Erica is sweet and fun.
Okay.
That's all I have for Erica.
Care was the goat.
How is it being a mama for?
So fun.
Really?
We have three.
You know, I feel like you three?
Yeah, we just had twins.
Oh my God, congrats.
So now we're three.
Wow, you look amazing.
Thank you.
You don't look like you just had twins.
That's crazy.
It's so nice.
Do you like it?
How are you feeling?
You know, we are surviving.
I think the Internet made me more scared than it actually is.
But once we put our two and a half-year-old in school,
I feel like it made things a little bit easier.
Yes, 100%.
I have to say, like, I feel like our society almost,
I don't know if it frowns upon having a lot of kids,
but it's definitely not the norm.
And it sometimes feels like I'm like a lone wolf, you know,
like as a young mom and having four kids.
But I really feel like it is the freaking best.
And I feel like people should say that more often, you know?
Like I saw Paige was on, Paige Paul was on my friend Amanda's podcast.
And she was saying, like, I want four kids.
And it's the, like, like, I don't know why I want four kids, but I want four kids. And like, I love that. Yeah. You know, like, let's, big families are great. Like, it shouldn't be something that we're so uncomfortable. Coming from a big family. Yeah, I can, yeah, once you have like more than two, people are like, really more. They're like, she's pregnant again. Yeah, it's like weird. They're like, oh, my God. Everyone's like, oh, she's going to have a five. And it's going to be really quick. First of all, not having a fifth. But I don't know why I just said a five. But that's mom brain right there. But. But that's mom brain right there. But. But. But. But. But. And. But. But. But.
No, it's great.
Like, it's so much fun.
I don't know.
I have a lot of siblings and I love it.
It's funny you crack that joke about having a fifth kid because I'm the baby of four boys
and all my mom's kids are now out of the nest.
And she cracks the same joke.
Like, she don't know what to do with herself now that all her babies are grown up and out of the house.
And she was so used to having a full house.
So like, do you ever think about that part about having just like this full like life?
And then, you know, at some point in time, they have their own lives to live.
I'm not going to let them.
They're going to have to bring their girlfriends
and their boyfriends and their partners
and whoever to my house.
Like I'm going to be in Rivers
dorm room. I don't know. It's dark though.
Yeah. Not to change
franchise but we were watching OC last night
and Terry and Heather
were like they're talking about how they bought a condo
in the city and they're like empty nesters
and I was like I hope I'm alive
when we become
empty nesters. So like
I was like, do you think we'll do that? And I was
Like, I might be dead.
Oh, my God.
You're not going to be dead.
You're so young.
It's so sad, though.
I think about that with my mom.
It's actually like a fun thought, though.
Like, you could go travel the world.
Your kids are out of the house.
I mean, my kids go to camp in the summer.
Like, the two older ones were at Sleep Boy Camp and then my third, hopefully, will go soon.
But it's really fun to, like, be able to be young again and party and, like, just not have my kids all the time.
Even though I love them dearly, it is actually nice to also have space.
like be with your, you know, your partner.
Yeah.
100%.
I had two questions for you if that's okay.
Of course.
You can have five questions.
Are you watching Girls Trip right now?
I am.
Because that's like where the big fight with you and Jessel kind of started, right?
Is that...
Well, we didn't get into a fight.
I was just talking shit about it.
Oh, you were talking shit and then it got back to her.
Can I just explain what on Girls Trip?
We were like in these buses with GoPro's.
And like half the time we were going around in a circle of
and be like, okay, so who's the fakest on your cast?
Like, who's the one that...
I was prompted multiple times, and I was tipsy,
and we were talking about it.
You know, also, by the way, I had two people to choose from at that point.
Yeah.
Like, you had to answer.
You know what?
You're right.
I didn't have to answer.
I did not, but I wanted to.
So I did.
I mean, it's how I feel.
Are you loving this season?
Like, do you have a favorite housewife on the show?
Oh, on Ultimate?
Of Ultimate, yeah.
I'm kind of loving Portia.
Right.
Like she is, wow.
I want to party with her.
Like, I want to have fun.
She seems so much fun.
I also love Giselle.
I feel like I would have a lot of fun with them.
Vicky, I think is very funny.
Vicky, like, doesn't want to be there.
She's like, my knee hurt.
I want to go home early.
No one cares about me.
It's kind of cracking me.
I have emails to send.
Yeah.
I think her comeback has been amazing.
Yeah.
It's so good to see her.
I haven't watched the OC.
I should watch it.
I haven't seen it yet.
I want to see it.
How is it?
It's pretty good. It's pretty good.
Getting back to Roney, do you think Sy turned her back on you?
I don't want to give away too much.
Just watch and see.
But our friendship is completely different. I'll say that.
Gave away just enough.
Different good or different bad?
Different.
Take a guess.
Different. Different.
Have you Google Jessel since she?
No.
No, and I'm not going to.
I have better things to do, like talk to you guys than.
Google Jessel. And I'm sure there are things there that she doesn't want people to say.
Question about the word boring. I feel like in reality TV, it's the only space where it's like
seen as like a really triggering negative word. But especially in the context coming from someone like
Haley, I feel like her calling you boring is like a compliment to you in a sense. First of all,
right. But second of all, like, yeah, if I'm not you, Haley, uh, you're like, you're like,
You're staying at home and like cooking dinner and being married to like my like husband and watching movies is boring.
Right.
Like listen, it was it was said in a mean way and that's what bothered me.
And also there was like a two face element of it where she texted me and because I was like I heard that you were saying this and she texted me and said, no, I would never do that.
I love you.
My brother's rational like you and da da da da da.
So I then like I heard that no really was meant in a very negative way.
I don't know why she's saying that to you, and she kept going with it.
And I was just like, this feels very too-faced.
I don't like it.
I didn't do anything to her except for tell a story that she said on national television.
So, like, get over it, you know?
Don't come for it.
The episode ended with really an iconic, at least I'm not a homewrecker of someone with eight kids.
Was that you being spicy or do you really feel like she is a homewrecker?
I don't think she's a homewrecker.
And you know what?
I've never watched the show.
So I don't even know what really happened with John.
in Kate plus eight, I just know that I wouldn't want to date anybody with eight children.
That's like not, you know, what I'm looking for in a, you know, partner.
Make sure they have eight or more kids.
That's like a red flag.
But I don't think she broke up the marriage.
I'll say that.
I do not think it's that she broke it up.
Do you think your husband looks like he just won like all the awards that he won like two
Emmys in the same night?
He's one of the best actors out there.
Has they ever been compared to Matthew Reese?
He's like the most likable actor right now.
He does.
Oh, kind of.
I guess he kind of does.
He kind of does.
I'm not saying they're clones.
How's he doing?
He's so good.
He's really good.
He is, he's like,
he kind of was more open this season,
which you'll see.
We actually, I don't know if it's shown,
but we kind of get into a little bit of a fight.
We're such idiots.
But I think he was more.
open and more comfortable this time around.
I think it takes a minute, especially for like the husbands.
They're like there, but they're not there.
They're part of it, but they're not part of it.
It's kind of like a weird place to be, you know?
Like they want to get involved.
They don't want to get involved.
Is he close with Jessel's husband or any of the husband?
Well, he loves Eugene.
He really likes Eugene.
He was friendly with Povett.
He was, yeah.
And they remained friendly on the show, like this season.
Yeah.
Eric, you got any more questions for Erin?
Yeah, well, I was going to ask,
how do you feel about the old Roney girls
doing their own show on a different
Not Bravo Network?
Does that feel like, I don't know, they're like crossing a line?
No, I think it's great.
Yeah, how it's great.
The Golden Line?
The Golden Line.
Yeah.
We actually interviewed Kelly.
We haven't aired it yet, but they seem,
honestly, after talking to Kelly,
I'm excited for it.
It does, I will.
It does feel like there's almost some
at least friendly competition.
That's going to happen.
Sounds like a beef.
You know what?
I don't think.
It's so different.
It's such a different like vibe, energy, all of it.
Like it's in completely different generations.
Like it's just, I don't even think it overlaps anymore.
You know what I mean?
Carol is the one with, who was friends with.
Carolyn Bissette.
Carolyn Bissette.
How do you feel about her feelings?
Family.
Yeah.
It kind of makes sense how she feels where like, you know, obviously America's in love with
this kind of, you know, the overall story and their show came out and she had like some very,
like, strong feelings about it was almost like look too close to home. And it almost kind of made
me feel like I understood it from a reality. Because I imagine, like you're a pro. And so you
understand we don't get to see everything. But I imagine like when it's your story, like when you're
seeing a scene and they're cutting something out and you're like, yo, like you feel the truth, right?
When it happens to you when it's, you know, like when the context is missing. And so I imagine in that
sense. It makes a lot of sense when she sees people talking about this story in a dramatized way,
you know, made for TV based on a true story. It can be very difficult because it was triggering
for her. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, her husband was like on the show. She's also a journalist. So I feel like
she lives in the truth. And so it has to be even harder that layer of like she's a great point.
You know, like I feel like she lives in the truth. And like that's what she brings a lot to like the OG Roney was like
everyone's delusional, but she kind of sees it for how it is. And that's what like,
I'm like, I'm happy that she's back. I think she's going to bring a lot of that to the show too.
But did she talk about it on this season? Does she talk about that show coming out and like how it made her feel?
Well, I think she was really off put by like the initial interaction she had about the show because it felt very insensitive.
So I think she had a guard up after that. She was like, you know, like she didn't want people to call Carolyn Beset a bitch and like, you know, just like be very like derogatory towards.
I mean, that was her family.
That was a very tragic.
I mean, she had to go through years of therapy to get over that happening.
She lost three people that were incredibly close to her in like a couple months span.
But she does open up.
She does open up to whoever she feels comfortable with.
And I think you see a really interesting side of her that's different that I don't think
we've ever seen before on TV.
You know, she, like, in a way is American royalty.
I mean, she was married.
to JFK Jr's first cousin.
She was at the wedding.
Like she really has lived a million lifetimes.
And she opens up about really interesting intersections
at different points of her life that, you know,
all kind of took her back.
And it's just fair.
I don't want to give away too much,
but it's really interesting.
And I think she's very eloquent in the way she talks
about her feelings and what she went through.
And it's beautiful to watch.
Oh, I can't wait.
Is there anything there in there?
We didn't ask you that you wanted to be asked or anything you want to share or comment on.
Well, I will say about last night's episode, one thing I really didn't like was the insinuation that I am in debt.
I am not in debt.
I had disputes.
It's a different thing.
I know that some people don't understand business, but, you know, I had a prior manager.
This was post-termination dispute that was then, you know,
figured out and everyone's been paid ever since.
Like disputes happen.
It's not the same as death.
Clear it.
Also, a lot of rich people carry a lot of debt.
There is also that.
I mean, I have a mortgage, but it's not like I owe people money all around town.
Yeah, mortgages are, by the way, I believe in mortgages.
I think you should let the bank work for you.
Like, absolutely.
To that end, a curious hearing, what's the most difficult part about being a housewife in terms of
like the rumor mill, right? Because like sometimes the rumor mill comes for your relationship,
sometimes it comes to your family, sometimes it comes for your credibility as a professional.
Like what is the hardest one to deal with? And as opposed to other ones, you can just like,
you know, whatever, I don't know, let the streets talk. I'll be very honest with you. The worst
is the stuff about my religion. Like that's the worst. That I really like, it's just hurtful.
It's like, like, I was born into my religion.
Like, it's not, you know what I mean?
Not, I love my religion, but it's not something I even chose.
So it just feels very like mean-spirited.
And I know that that, they do that to like everybody for any, like, you know, you could be born.
I mean, they're there are bigots for anybody.
But I feel like that is just, it's just like so uncalled for and I wish people wouldn't go there.
You know, anything else I can deal with.
Call me boring.
Call me a snake.
Call me a shit-talker.
Probably am half the time, like make fun of my marriage.
I really don't care.
But I just feel like that stuff is just like, I wish people would just stop.
Like, what does that have to do with anything?
You know?
That's the only thing that bothers.
Yeah, well, that sucks that you have to do.
That's gross.
I mean, we all, I mean, like Andy, like, we all deal with it.
It's just, like, annoying.
And I just feel like it's stupid.
And I wish people would stop.
Oh, thanks for sharing.
And I'm sorry you're dealing with that.
It was wild watching Jessel try to, when she's in her interview.
and she Googles you and it's like just the Google's like automated questions like she's
trying to make them all like what is her real job what what is going on with her marriage what size
is her shoe these are just questions like Google has dude I like I have multiple businesses I don't
know what business she owns I like you're poking holes in my marriage what like are you crazy
the audacity I mean that the audacity
Is that an accusation?
Why?
Is that an implication?
I'm not going to say more.
It's just like, you know, and my marriage isn't perfect.
I'm not going to sit here and say we're in a perfect marriage.
We fight all the time, you know?
But like.
Well, what's the saying like glass houses and throw stones or something?
I don't know.
Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house.
Yes.
Happy wife, happy life.
That's the one I know.
Yeah, I tell Abe that all the time.
I'm like, remember what your dad used to say?
Happy wife.
Happy life.
I was just quite.
Speaking of dads, you had a very sweet moment to kind of talk about your father in this episode.
Yeah, I know.
You know, I haven't seen that scene.
Sometimes I like, it's like too much.
I was going into watch what happens live and I don't want to watch it, but I'm going to watch it today.
I heard, I mean, it made Lindsay cry, she said.
It was very brief and very sweet.
It was very sweet.
It was a really nice moment.
Yeah.
It's hard, you know.
And on that level, me and Jessel connected very closely because her dad passed away,
like really out of nowhere. And I feel terrible for her family. It's just awful. I lost my dad in April.
What has been like your, what, how are you getting through? What is what is your grief journey
looking like? Wow. So we have a lot of similarities because I was pregnant when my dad. I don't know
if you were pregnant or her just had the baby. Yeah, no, I was pregnant. You're pregnant. Yeah.
It's really hard because when you're pregnant, you're like kind of in go mode and you can't really
be distracted by the grief, at least I found, because you're, you know, you're growing alive.
I mean, you're growing too. So I can't even imagine. And then, I don't know, it took me like a year
post my dad's death to start grieving. Really? And this, yeah, it took me a year of just complete
distraction. I wrote a book. I, like, was on a book tour. I was like all over the place,
I really did not want to face the music. And then actually my body, like, I, I,
my ankles like blew up and like my body was like you need to stop like you need to face this and I did and
I worked with someone who was amazing. Her name is Nicole Sachs and I like started actually doing something
called journal speak just like 20 minutes a day of just letting out whatever it is and it's been really
helpful. It's a really hard thing to go through. Especially like postpartum and your hormones are raging.
Like people don't understand how challenging that is. I'm so sorry.
went through that. I definitely feel like that was like the hardest thing I've ever gone through was losing
my dad while pregnant with twins and having a toddler. Because it's like you just don't. And I feel like,
yeah, I won't. So hard. You just are constantly like you said, like on go that you don't get a
moment to like have for so that the journaling is really smart. I appreciate that advice. I'll have to
start that. Yeah. You should read Nicole Sachs's book. And if you ever want to talk to her,
I can connect you with her. She's been like instrumental and just healing.
the grief that it's just so deep.
Like it's like you don't even realize how deep it is until you start uncovering like,
oh my God, like this person's gone.
And then it's like stuff from your childhood that you forgot about.
And it's just like a lot.
But I think like then you start to get to a point, which I'm just now starting to get to
where I'm able to connect more with like his spirit, I feel.
And that's been really very special.
Oh, I love that.
I can't wait for that for me.
Yeah, I remember being in your shoes.
Do you ever get like little signs that he's like around you?
You know what?
It's so funny.
I like needed him the other day.
And I was like doing my journal speak.
And I have this window in my bedroom, which is like across the hall that has like this big tree outside of it.
And right after my dad passed, my sister stayed over.
We had a girl's night.
Abe was away with the kids.
And I was like, whenever I see a bird out this window, it's so weird.
I always feel like it's our dad.
And she was like, really?
I'm like, yeah, it's like there's like this one blue bird that sometimes out the window.
And we live in New York City.
She goes, Erin, come over here right now.
I'm like, what?
She's like, what is that?
Is that an owl?
It was the middle of the day.
There was a hawk.
We are living on the Upper West Side.
There are no hawks here, okay?
There was a massive hawk sitting on a branch on the tree outside of my window.
We were like, freaking out.
I took a million pictures.
I googled it.
I'm like, is this normal?
They're hawks in New York City.
Like, it was so unusual.
So those are like my signs.
And the other day I was like, I felt like I needed him.
And I was like if you're around, like, I need to see a bird on a branch.
And I did.
So I feel like it's like those things sometimes.
Yeah.
That's beautiful.
Not to get all like that and mutual.
I appreciate you sharing that.
Eric, do you have any more questions for Aaron before we let her go?
No, I just want you to fight more.
I'm so excited to see you if I like.
Oh, don't worry.
You're such a good fighter.
Such a good fighter.
I have four siblings.
I've been raised on fighting.
Well, Erin, thank you.
Jimmy, you get me.
I get you.
We love having you on.
One of these days, we'll have to be in the room together.
I know.
How fun with that.
I might be coming to L.A. soon, so I'll keep you guys supposed to know.
Bring some of those shoes.
I want to look at them.
I will.
Where's your shirt from, Aaron?
This is unsubscribed.
I love it.
I need it.
It's so good, right?
It's cashmere.
It's very cozy.
Of course it is.
Aaron, thanks for coming on.
It's always great to chat with you.
We're loving this season.
Keep up the great work.
And hopefully we'll get a chance
to catch up with you soon.
Okay, guys.
Bye.
Take care.
You too.
Bye.
Fun.
Love her.
Love her.
She's great.
Love her.
Anything we want to talk about Roney-wise
before we move on to O.C.?
No, I'm like so excited for this season of Roney.
It really does have good energy.
And I'm so excited to see Carol.
And I think it's going to be so interesting to see like even at the beginning.
they like someone yells that's the woman in the Epstein files at her and she like has to deal with that on the show
so I'm so curious to see like because that's like real shit like I'm excited to see how they go about talking about that stuff because
um even like on the first episode of Salt Lake it's about Mary's sun passing and they like yeah they do they're
dealing with real shit so so well on Bravo right now so I'm so curious to see how like how that'll all
unfold this season but yeah well yeah that'll be interesting because that's a that's a different
type of sensitivity than obviously the salt lake city well yeah which i yeah we yeah we talked about like they
they definitely they handled episode one really well well speaking of another one oh see um i think i like this one
i think vicky deserves like a comeback housewife of the year and i know she's being like i know she's like
she's polarizing.
But I think she's so great because I think a great teammate elevates the people around
them.
Yeah.
I think because Vicky is so just Vicky this season, my favorite part about Vicky is how
Shannon comes across.
Because like Shannon, obviously she's been in her shit.
We all have good and bad sides.
We've seen Shannon's, you know, less appealing sides of Shannon.
But like, you know, we've had Shannon on the show a couple times.
it's a limited experience with Shannon,
but my experience with Shannon in person
is like her best,
her good qualities are amazing.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
And I've only experienced personally
Shannon's like just charm.
I, you know,
so I haven't experienced Shannon 360.
But with Vicky,
Shannon comes across is so demure
and so like just the friend
who's there to listen and give advice
and it's such a different vibe
than watching Shannon, like, involved in chaos.
And I really, you know, and I think that's to me is, is Vicky's strength.
I know, Vicky is just, like, so herself, she doesn't, I just believe that she's the same on or off
camera.
Like, she does not give a flying fuck what anyone thinks about her.
And I think that's my favorite thing.
And, like, her attitude this season is kind of like, oh, God, I got to do this.
Let me, let me do this and let me go.
And I kind of love it.
Like, she's currently single.
No.
No?
Has that boyfriend, Mike.
Yeah.
Oh, that's right.
Mike.
Mike.
So now and I were disagreeing about this last night.
Are you team Emily and Jen or Vicky?
I just felt like Emily and Jen were a little performative.
And like I feel like if you are at a friend's house and they had gotten into an awkward fight with their partner.
And then your friend was like, can we just pretend that didn't happen and move on?
I feel like the real friends
She told them to leave
I know I would have left
I would have left
I'm out
Like girl
If I don't
If I'm not wanted here
The vibes are off
She kind of
In her own Vicky way
Kind of apologized
She would
Well she you know
She asked for grace at least
In a way
Am I wrong?
Am I being biased?
I just feel like Vicky
Like she gets away with it
because she's you know what
you're getting with Vicky
So she like
She did apologize
in her way, but it wasn't like a real apology.
No, I mean, I don't think you're ever going to get up.
And her being like, I was telling the crew to leave.
It's like, no, you weren't.
You were not telling the crew to leave.
You were telling us to leave.
I will say, though, Emily looks amazing this season.
She looks so tea.
I was like, whoa, she's really, really like just getting more beautiful as each season goes
on.
Like, it's really crazy.
But I do think she was kind of in the wrong for her.
Not just like leaving or I don't know.
I feel like she should have just gone, for me honest.
But.
Okay.
Sounds gonna come up tomorrow.
We'll try again the next day.
Like, get up out of there.
Yeah.
I always say this every time it comes up.
But I love it when Terry and Heather talk about how rich they are.
And Terry's like casually throwing in that he like sold their last house for $55 million.
I love how rich they are.
And like the fact that they bought a $14 million apartment one floor away from their
right beneath them.
She's like, we overpaid.
The most unnecessary flex ever.
We overpaid.
And then you have Gina having a real, like, you know, more relatable conversation about, like,
hey, do we like, do we go for it?
Do we overextend a little bit and chase our dreams?
Or is that crazy?
And like, that's some real shit.
Like, that's, those are decisions that, quite honestly, in that stage of a relationship,
like, make a break over late.
Like, I know.
Gina's really, she is not.
in like her struggles with money at all
and like national television and I think that's really
brave like even when the other
seasons when she was like
separating from her fiance like
taking like separating the kids so they would live separately
after living together
I feel like that was really like
the public scrutiny that probably came from that
was probably so insane so
I like that she's she's I feel
like she's on the come up with money
like she's getting there like
getting rich yeah she's getting
well that's all perspective right
she is
talking about possibly buying a $3 million house.
It's just, you know, when you're friends with Heather Dubrow, it just, it feels a little
different, you know?
This jump change to her.
Yeah, she throws $3 million parties, I feel like.
She's like, oh, okay, for my birthday, I'll just do like $100,000 here.
And I wish I could love that the way you love how rich they are.
Like, I hear that.
And I'm like, ew.
It's like separating from reality from me.
Like, it's not real to me.
Like, it's totally just like.
Yeah, healthy escape.
Like I can't even fathom that money like honestly.
So like I don't know.
It's cool to like watch it as if it's like made up, you know.
I love that conversation with Carmela and her boyfriend.
I'm curious.
Eric, you're not married.
You haven't been married, I'm assuming.
No, no, no.
Jimmy.
Just vibe check.
You never remember.
For the non-married people.
I thought that it was a very interesting conversation.
I don't know where you stand.
Like when I met Nali, I was like, honestly, I'm kind of over the idea of marriage.
It's like in, in, like, in 2026,
I obviously feel different now that, like, you know, I have what I have with my wife.
But like in 2026, like marriage more than anything is really just a business contract, right?
You know, I feel grateful to with like with my wife to be able to have found like the romance part of that, right?
And, and cherish it.
But I thought that was a real conversation.
Like, it's like how many times does it make sense to like, like if you got married, like in divorced, to like want to get.
married again, that's like a real, like, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, that's like I'm real
shit in terms of like, I feel like I would want to just be like, let's just be life partners.
Yeah. You know, as opposed to, I don't know, but how do you guys, having not been married.
And not tie the knot and not like officially ties the night side. It's just like he's been married three
times. And at some point, you're just like, you know, marriage is like a life contract. And I tried it.
And I didn't that that whole life thing. I got a good five, 10 years. As opposed to been like,
well, you're, I don't know. Like, I feel like that's some real shit to have to have to have that
conversation, like if you're a divorcee of like, what is what do your relationship goals are in terms
of like, is it marriage or is it just like being together? That does add a whole different like strain on
like, oh, you've done this three times already. Like, and I feel like also Carmelah has been
open about like the infidelity and like I actually really like Carmela. I feel like at first I was a
little turned off to her. Like I wasn't. Where you? Why? I don't know. I think it was more like,
you know, sometimes you meet a new housewife and you're like,
like you don't know how they're going to change the dynamic and she seemed a little like
kooky in her own way that I was like maybe I don't know it was just like I wasn't immediately on
her side for some reason but she's really won me over like I really like her and I like what she
like adds to the to the show a lot and I think it's so cool when a wife comes on and she's like
totally open the way Carmela is I feel like she she's lived a crazy life and she has so much to
like show for it and she's not a really open.
afraid to show it. And even like this conversation with her like her man is so it's just like another
example of her just being like, well, this is a real conversation we're having and like I'm not
afraid to put it out there. So she's really like won me over with I think her attitude about being
on the show. Does that make sense? Yeah. No, totally. I loved hearing your perspective. I've kind of
I've, I think she's been great for the jump. But it's a fun season. But I do think Vicki needs some kind of
a newcomer of the
she's done the moat like she's in it right
and it also doesn't feel like she's
it doesn't feel like she's new
you know it just feels like she's always
been yeah
you know and I feel like they keep like trying out other
girls and I don't feel like they always have this energy
do you know what I mean like other girls don't always come in
like this so it was cool
to see her step into it you know and also
like his like a lot of times is you know
like they like to come from the newbies
and I feel like they're not coming for Vicky as much
as Vicky's like creating
the mess that she's always a part of
where sometimes it always feels like rookie hazing
in a way that like I don't know
it just kind of feels like
it's like lazy housewifing
but I feel like
Vicky again she's allowed everyone else
I think to like level up
because she's like they're all kind of dealing
with Vicky but Vicki
you know Vicky can handle her own
she can she can be the center of controversy
and she doesn't you know who I'm gonna say
she sounds like
who
I was like LeBron, man.
She empowers her teammates.
Everybody else plays well with her.
Hey, you know.
She's always in some shit, but her teammates play well because of her.
Vinkie's the LeBron of Real Housewives of O.C.
So it seems.
No, that would a way to put it.
Jimmy, do you watch Real Housewives?
I'm just now getting into it.
So I need to go back and watch previous seasons.
Nick, do you have a favorite, like a favorite show?
probably honestly OC recently
I've you know I've I've some pretty good relationships with some of those women
I just find it to be a really easy fun
nostalgic watch
Salt Lake City's definitely been up there
but now you have Rhode Island and it's just like
it's just a kind of different vibe I really like Rhode Island I think
OG Atlanta Jimmy is like top 10th
Atlanta's got a housewife joint yes
what you don't even know
no no but Atlanta's really really
fun. Like you should get into Atlanta because Nini Leaks is an icon and she put a lot of
of Real Housewives on the map. So that one is so good. Like you would love, love, love. And New York
is really fun too. Like OG New York. Yeah, I'm digging New York. It's really fun. This new season
is going to be so good too. But like OG New York is like so good to watch too if you're going to
go back. Of the three right now, Eric, which one do you look forward to the most? I think like Salt
Lake I have been. I mean like the first episode's real heavy.
but like they have just proven season over season
over season that they know how to make TV like oh my God
Jimmy you don't even know like a woman goes
gets arrested by the FBI on the show like you're gonna be shocked
shocked and amazed by what these women go through in Salt Lake City
because there's like something in the water there that like makes them
entertaining I swear like Lisa Barlow fucking cracked yeah I need to
I because I know the name
Lisa Barlow. And for me to know the name, that's how I know she a big deal. And I watched the first
episode, and I'm still trying to figure out, like, what it is about her that commands, she has
this gravity to her. I'm excited to figure this out. Meredith Marks got a facelift this season.
Is that Brooks Mark's mama? Yes. I fought. I connected those damn dots. I was proud of myself for that.
You know Brooks Marks? It's, uh, Brooks Marks is Meredith's son. I'm a next Gen. NYC fan, like through and
through. Oh my God. I love NextGen actually. I haven't caught up all the way. I was a little behind
this season, but it's a good show. No, that's family. Me is shy, man. Well, Eric, this has been fun to
talk some houseflies with you. So thanks for being a part of it. Where can my audience? I mean,
I know most people already know who you are and probably already follow you. But if they're not
enjoying the content you're making, where can they discover you and follow along?
