Starting point is 00:00:00 Buddy, welcome back to another exciting episode of the Vile Files Reality Recap Edition. I'm your host, Nick, joined by my magical and supportive and gift giving. Gift giving. Gift giving wife, Natalie Joy. Natalie Joy. And I am also joined by my wife, the iconic, the legendary. Victoria Fuller. Excuse me what, Victoria Fuller.
Starting point is 00:00:41 And Jimmy is also with us. is sporting a new haircut today. Yeah, I chopped it off. Is this because of dancing with the stars? No, it was just time. Summer's over. You know, moving to L.A. I had to just go for a fresh look.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Okay. Well, Jimmy is going to dancing with the stars tonight. Him and Susie are representing the vowel files in the press, press corps. In the press line? That is so cool. A little interviewing? Yeah, we'll be on a red carpet, talk to some folks. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Post-dancing. Excited for it. What are you most excited to see tonight going in? I'm excited to talk to more. It's like the two women. Specifically. Yeah. I can't wait to talk to her.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Sorry to meet Tyler. Can't wait to talk to Garumo. But Susie gets to watch. I kind of just get to fire off some rapid fire questions. Okay. You guys gonna, you guys gonna be great. Are you asking him or are you telling him? Like, are you guys going to be great? No, I'm like I'm saying, you guys are going to be great.
Starting point is 00:01:32 No, it'll be fun. I'm excited. I got a decent little fit. I'm putting together too. Wow. An outfit. Okay. Mostly stoked about getting that fit off, honestly, for Instagram.
Starting point is 00:01:42 He does need an Instagram post. We do have Logan from Trader's New Blood coming up later this episode. Jimmy and I have a chance to chat with him. He is a really charming guy and it was a lot of fun to talk about his experience on Traders New Blood. His feelings about the rest of the cast, how he thinks it's going to play out, why he thought he went home and all your favorite trader's questions. And his fiance McKenzie. And his Fianci and his Fianci, Big Wild Falls fans. And she's the owner who got him on the show.
Starting point is 00:02:07 That's so cute. I love that. Well, we have some little gifts for Nick. that me and Victoria brought and we thought, you know what, how fun would it be to put Nick on the spot and watch them cry over our gifts because of pure happiness
Starting point is 00:02:20 and of pure joy and pure shock. I hate receiving gifts. Also, I want to acknowledge that before we came up to the studio, Victoria knows and I frequent a euro place. I like Euro and fries. Every day.
Starting point is 00:02:35 I'm also, yeah, I'm a creature of habit and like when I'll blitz things, I'll be like, oh, if I haven't had a year on a while, and then I can find a place. I'll go there every day until someone tells me to stop. Until he gets sick. Tell him to stop.
Starting point is 00:02:49 You know what city has great euros? Chicago and Milwaukee. So Victoria got me a $50 dollar bill with the Post-it note on it. With the post-it note says Euro. No, I said Euro money. It's his lunch money. That's his lunch money.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Do you want him to open up mine first or year first? What do you feel? You're his wife. Well, I don't know what yours is. You do know what mine is. So please set me up for. success here. I think maybe you go first.
Starting point is 00:03:15 That's great. Yeah. This is, let me preface. As I said, on yesterday's episode, our trip to the lake was a last-minute labor of love, and that was his gift. But this is a little bit of a gag gift. So. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:03:36 Show everyone. This is a great shirt. And it has your birthday on it. That's great. This is awesome. I really love this. Wait, show the class. It's a Madonna t-shirt.
Starting point is 00:03:49 It's a vintage Madonna fan. You're a Madonna fan? I'm a big Madonna fan. And it has the, it's the Paris tour that's September 28th, 29th of 1993. This is a great gift.
Starting point is 00:04:01 In his birthday, September 28th. The gag. Oh, that's sick. That's a great gift. The gag is like, Natalie knows a big Packer fan. And like, so she's gotten me some like cool, some really cool packer vintage t-shirts.
Starting point is 00:04:15 And then she just still always started kidding T-shirts. And then I had to like, I noticed you have great teas though. He does have great-ties. Thank you. And he, and I learned from Victoria that he actually hates that he's getting vintage, one-of-a-kind, Packer T-shirts. So I thought, you know what. Because like Victoria, she's just like, Victoria, she's a friend.
Starting point is 00:04:36 She sets me up for success because it's like, I don't, you know, I'm not always paying attention, you know, to stuff. And like, I can go to Victoria and be like, yo, like, what do I need to do? And then Victoria will drop some information. And I'll be like, well, you know she got me a T-shirt. As in the Rolex. Victoria was like, you should get Natalie a Rolex for her birthday. And Nick was like, well, you know, she did get me a T-shirt last year.
Starting point is 00:04:59 So. I was like, doesn't matter, babes. Which I love. Doesn't matter at all. This is an amazing T-shirt. This is really cool. Oh, she knew you would love it. On Etsy.
Starting point is 00:05:10 It's one-of-a-kind. Vintage. One. This is a very, very, Mary would be very jealous. Is Mary there? Did you see this Mary? She is here. And she is jealous.
Starting point is 00:05:20 He is jealous. That is very cool. It's very cool. It's very cool. Like this is so, you could, no. Will you crop it? It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:05:29 He's 46. Yeah, I'm 46. So? Young at heart. Youthful still, you know. Take me to a festival, Jim. I'll win in Rome. Bet.
Starting point is 00:05:40 But like. I bet. Not on a Wednesday. Come on. Like in public? Yeah. For lunch? Madonna tea.
Starting point is 00:05:48 This is great. I appreciate it. But also you listen to Madonna all the time. All the time. Yeah. Like you have it in your headphones. And we just see him walking around dancing and we're like, what are you doing? What are you listening to do?
Starting point is 00:06:00 He's like Madonna. I'm afraid to ask, but what's like, what's a Madonna song that I would know? Oh boy. Sing it. Like a virgin? Like a virgin. What's your favorite? Touch for the very first.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Time. That's Madonna. Okay, bet. I know that. This is Drake's song called Madonna. Hung up. Um, um. What's the, your favorite? Yeah, the one that you always listen to. I like hung up. Is that the one you listen to all the time? All the time. It's just like in his headphones. He's like fist bumping in the air. I think your Madonna might be my scissor. Great comparison. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Okay. It's well, okay, let me preface. So this is not sponsored by Williams Sonoma. It is not. But Nick makes us food every night. Every day.
Starting point is 00:06:49 And he is a chef. Yes, he is. Of all the chefs. So this is kind of like a tribute to that. Wait, cute. Okay, thank you. Okay. And he's a great chef, by the way.
Starting point is 00:07:00 I'm stealing all of his recipes and going to make a cookbook. Necessary. Yeah. Necessary. Necessary. Necessary. Also, gag gift. Just one?
Starting point is 00:07:09 Oh, did you want matching? He wanted two to pull out a pot. Sometimes I'm... That's crazy. This is like when I bought him the tickets. No, this is like when I bought him the tickets to go to the lake. And he goes, we're leaving Saturday? Why not Friday?
Starting point is 00:07:28 Wait, not him still looking in the bag. Like another one was going to drop out. He's like, anything else in there? That's crazy. Wait, I didn't realize I needed to get to him. Well, head on back. Am I crazy? Am I crazy?
Starting point is 00:07:45 I don't know. I thought it was just one because you always are using one. Fuck. I got to go back. I don't know. Honestly, that would have been a good question for Giatta. Like, is there kitchen etiquette? Sorry.
Starting point is 00:07:58 Yeah, this is a podcast. Yeah. That was crazy. This feels like Christmas. Look at that. That's, this is how he is. Disgusting. This is how he is.
Starting point is 00:08:08 That's how my apartment looks. I, actually, I walk in and I just throw things on the ground. Yeah. He's like a hurricane. This is kind of comforting. What else do we have on the docket? Hold on. He hated it. Fuck.
Starting point is 00:08:22 He loved his t-shirt. No, that's really great. It's an oven mitt. Oh, yeah. No, but can you tell the why I got you the fucking oven mitt, you asshole? You didn't tell him the story of why I got you the fucking oven mitt. He just is like, yeah, no, fuck you. Oven Mets, whatever.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Like, what the fuck? There's a story behind the fucking oven mitt. Give it down. Do you want me to tell them? Sure. Sorry, I was... Oh, my God, what a dick. He's like, yeah, everyone's here with us every day.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Obviously, they know why I need another oven mitt. Okay, Nick has oven mitts, but they all have holes in them. And you... And you get burned. Right, right, right, where... Honestly, like, If you had an oven mitt that only had like three points, you would want it right here in the V of your index finger and thumb. And I got burned one day when I was using it.
Starting point is 00:09:19 I was like, ow. And he was like, yeah, you know what? We need new oven mitts. And that's why you have one. Thank you. Yeah. You're welcome. It's like when you get socks for Christmas.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Yes. Exactly. Okay. Precisely. Purposeful oven mitt. Anyways. When you get socks, Jim, do you have a whole, do you have a whole like socks? Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:39 No. Lined up. It's appreciated. I'll use and wear the socks, but I'm not like geeking about the socks. You're not like, wow, this is so nice. Unless it's a Williams and Sonoma sock. Thank you. There we go.
Starting point is 00:09:54 There we go. Unless it's a good brand. You'll be like his love language is he wants me to think of him. And like I'm literally thinking of him by getting him socks. So like, check. Facts. Facts. Facts.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Well, we could talk about how there's already Christmas deck out. Are you guys decorating for Halloween? Listen. Nali has already got our Christmas decorations scheduled. Oh, decorations. I have our lights for our house scheduled. And I did last year do it before Halloween. And then I did have to send an apology text to the neighborhood group chat being like, sorry that your kids are trick-or-treating and my house is fully decked out for Christmas.
Starting point is 00:10:32 I'm very sorry to give vibes. That's hilarious. So this year- You do Halloween decor? I'm doing November 1st. I do Halloween decor, but. Now that I have kids, I didn't ever do it before kids. Now that I have kids, I like the like not scary Halloween decor.
Starting point is 00:10:46 So we go to, it's a lot of home goods. I second that. It's a lot of cats with witches hat and dogs with broomsticks. You know, like that's the vibe of our Halloween. Not like a haunted house. No, no spooky. No, no skeletons. I never like trick-a-true at those houses.
Starting point is 00:11:01 I always let the other kids go get the candy and bring it back. Yeah. I don't like getting scared like that. You're like, that house is spooky. That house is very spooky. We'll put the Halloween stuff out and then we'll just leave the pumpkins for the next week. And then it's Christmas. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Does your house smell like chai and pumpkin spice? You know, I actually just bought my first pumpkin candle the other day. And I am excited to light that bitch. It's like my favorite thing about fall is the scents. Fall, yeah. Fall has a smell. It does. Halloween doesn't.
Starting point is 00:11:32 No. Oh, no, Halloween does. For sure, it does. There's a smell? Plastic. It's a Halloween store. Terror. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Kids screaming. Blood. A lot of blood. Yeah. The costume store smells. Well, I still have all my Christmas decorations up two years ago from my ex put them up. As a single man, Jim, do you put up a Christmas tree? Well, he just said that. I do not. I would love to, but I just, I don't know how to do that. So then what decorations do you have left up? There's like a, I don't know how to describe these things. It's like a ribbon, red ribbon thing that's like glittery. It's like hanging on a plant that we called a tree. And there's like stickers on the windows of like
Starting point is 00:12:12 Okay, Okay, Cairns and shit. Is that true? Yes or no. I'm in love with Victoria? No, no. Your ex-girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:12:19 That you're keeping her decorations in your house because you don't want to forget about her. Oh, hell no. I mean, I got love for her, but hail no, and I love her. So you're just lazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:28 Okay. Perfect. Yeah. Well, it's a nice touch. The cats like it, so. That's lazy. Victoria, I moved into my Venice apartment
Starting point is 00:12:35 and I had one box. I unpacked everything day of. felt really proud about myself that I was efficient. But there was one box. I was like, I'll get to that later. And it stayed there to the day I moved out. What was in it? Clearly stuff I didn't need.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Honestly, doesn't surprise me, but I hate that. I'm just saying, that's lazy. Lazy, lazy. The extent of my decorating for the holidays is just the candles. That's when I get in my bag. I like the smells. Period. Listen, I feel like the kids these days on Instagram are posting horizontally their
Starting point is 00:13:05 selfies. and I have yet to divulge. Is it in? Victoria, you're more hip than I am. Is it showing the black bars then the crop? You can color them. You color them. I know what's talking about?
Starting point is 00:13:19 No, depending on how you post it. No. No, he's not understanding. He's not understanding. If you're not. That's on 46, babe. Love you? Yeah, that's, I don't think.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Just like taking a selfie instead of like this, you're taking it like this. I just posted it the other. Yeah, horizontal. Yeah. What I've been noticing, doing that it's good engagement is the, you take two horizontal selfies and you like kind of put them over the top of each other. So it's like two photos in one on like an Instagram story.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Let me show Nick an example. Okay. Yeah. Because I have one because I just posted it because I am very zillennial. She's on trend. I'm a zelenial. Okay. That's, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Yeah. It's a static. He said, yeah. But you do it once. Yeah, that's swaggy. Yeah. It's very swaggy. It's very cool.
Starting point is 00:14:07 you do one up top and bottom. And you put it in a dump for your next post? Yeah, great. Yeah. I'll even just turn it sideways at like a little 90 degree angle and just throw it in a dump. That's why I did too. I used to be really good at Instagram. And you feel like you're not anymore?
Starting point is 00:14:24 Well, I'm lucky enough that I can be a little bit, you know, but yeah, no, I don't. He hasn't posted on his Instagram and since my birthday, I guess. And then before that it was Mother's Day. Oh. That's goals, honestly. You get to that point. Yeah. It is goals.
Starting point is 00:14:43 Yeah. It is, I do like this era of you because the like men who are like out there doing the TikToks. And the roller skating? Well, that was something. You're a roller skater? And I stood beside you. Bro, you have no idea. Bro, I used to love rollerblading around like the Lake Michigan.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Would you fly out a girl that you were trying to like, hook up with and have her record you. That's confidence. That's confidence. I didn't care. That is funny. Like do it. It is confident.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Yo, hold this with me real quick. It's crazy. And he like made me walk with him like, well, he was skating. No, no, no, no. I asked politely. He did ask. But he was skating and I was walking. So he wanted to get to a certain alleyway and he was like there before I could
Starting point is 00:15:30 slow down. I must have looked really good because honestly when I look back and think about it, It was disgusting, Jim. There is no way a man should be able to do that. And, like, she sticks around. You feel it yourself. Would y'all go, like, ice skating as, like, a date around Christmas time? No, I can't skate.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Oh. Yeah, I'm scared of ice skating. That was really fast. First of all. Natalie, I hear you, though. It's all good. Thank you. First of all.
Starting point is 00:15:53 I like to be on my tent. Oh, yeah. Jim, we, at our lake, when we go up in the winter, it freezes over, we make an ice skating rink. Yeah. And we go, and we have got an ice skating together there. And he does skate by himself. So. He's jumping up and doing twirl.
Starting point is 00:16:08 He is. No, I like, I like Mighty Duckett. I'm gorty. So, I'm just on the ice in the upper Midwest, just chasing my. Did you grow up ice fishing? I'm not much of a fisher. Okay. I saw that out the hotel window when we played Wisconsin.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Before we move on, I just want to say to both you, those were very thoughtful gifts. And I'm so grateful to have you both in my life, especially you. And the T-shirt was fantastic. And what would I do without another ever met? You needed it. Thank you. Your birthday gifts are coming from me whenever we're in the studio together. Can't wait.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I hope that they top these two. It'll be hard. Mine are sick. I ain't going to lie. It'll be hard. Well, speaking of spending money and lots of it, you know, being a woman is expensive. And I've been trying to get my husband to indulge himself and some of the women. Botox.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Yeah. He needs it. Just kidding. Damn. It was a joke. Well, it comes after Victoria has obviously gotten some microneedling done. Obviously, it's so insane. She's looking a little sunburnt in the face.
Starting point is 00:17:17 If you thought that I looked red. If I look younger. Can y'all explain to me what microneedling is? Because in my world, microneedling is what we do for, like, rehab. Like, my shoulder. It's basically rehab for your... I do think that's acupuncture. Well, and it's also rehab for your face.
Starting point is 00:17:32 I think it's called dry needling, actually, where they're just like going like in your shoulder and it hurts really bad. That's exactly what they do to your face. I thought it was just an eyebrow thing. That's microblading. Microblading. Yes. It's why he's tearing at my eyebrows right now.
Starting point is 00:17:45 And micro kneeling, they're just like poking your face? So it's, they're doing little punctures to your face to create miniature wounds so that you have regrowth of skin cells. So then you have baby skin. Now is this, is this science based? Yes. It's science based, yes. And that's why I look like I'm 12.
Starting point is 00:18:04 Okay. Skin wise. If you were curious. And how much does that cost? Is that like an expensive treatment? Each treatment, you know. How many treatments? Is it a weekly thing?
Starting point is 00:18:17 So you'll see it on her story here pretty soon. I'm not going to say it. That part. Is it like the red light skin therapy where you have to like keep up with it in order to like see results? Yes. Because I'm Loki tapped into the beauty industry tips and tricks, little gadgets now too. Okay. You need micrneedling.
Starting point is 00:18:36 You need it. Right now. Today. I don't want people like needle in my face, though. It's scary. Well, you recover. How fast is it? What is the downtime?
Starting point is 00:18:43 It's just a day. Just one day. And the one day that you guys asked me to come on this podcast was the day that my face look like this. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Great.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Thank you. So I just got into like the face masks and the under eye mask. Like how far away am I from that stage? What face masks are you using? I like unya, Anua. Korean skin care joint. I like biomedicubes. My mixing conflating brands here.
Starting point is 00:19:10 A little bit of cube, yes. Kauze. RX. Am I getting that right, Justin? Kaz RX. Oh yeah. Justin is our in-house skincare connoisseur. Do you have like a whole routine?
Starting point is 00:19:21 Are you like Zen? Is it like a ritual like, I don't know how you do. I don't have like a routine yet, but if I feel like I need to look pretty, I got a little. Are you consistent? Or are you like me where it's just like, maybe I'll use it today. Yeah. not super consistent. Shout out to Kiel's.
Starting point is 00:19:36 They could hook you out. I'm sure they would send you some stuff. You should definitely look at their products. Because your skin's looking a little dull. Oh my gosh. I'm just kidding. I can't see reports from here. How much does it cost per month to feel presentable as a woman?
Starting point is 00:19:52 What do you feel like? Before we answer that question, who sets that standard? We do. Who's we? Me and Natalie. Okay. Yeah. Not us.
Starting point is 00:20:01 I just don't want to be blamed for it. No, no. I will say since having kids, I haven't got my nails done in so long. Like, can you see my, please don't show my toes if you can see. Show her dogs. Please. It would it be a woman dating versus a woman married? Oh.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Different lifestyles, different expenses. No, because I haven't shaved my legs in far too long. And that is because my husband really doesn't even notice when they are shaved. So I might as well save the energy. Even when it's prickly? He doesn't. No, he will rub that leg and not. say a thing. Don't you love it?
Starting point is 00:20:34 You when it stabs you? I guess it's not that bad. What can I say? I love my wife. Aww. I'm so enthralled by it. Well, listen, listen, we have a busy life. It is great. It's great and it's not that bad.
Starting point is 00:20:48 But it's all so hectic. And every day is just like over. I have a question. How are spray tan is expensive? Like the ones where they get in like the like tent and they like literally like spray paint them? For someone to come to your house, it's about $130. If you want to go to Sun Tant City like I do, 25 bucks
Starting point is 00:21:05 And it's just this gun Shut out Sancton City Also girls' haircuts are dumb expensive Very expensive Oh my gosh Dumb expensive I don't know if this is everywhere It wasn't when I lived in Savannah
Starting point is 00:21:18 A haircut was like I don't know 30 bucks Literally like I don't even remember Because it was not that expensive Moving to L.A I got my first haircut Went to the checkout
Starting point is 00:21:27 And they were like That's gonna be $275 And I was like Oh I sorry it was just to trim Just to like remind you, I don't know if you got me confused with someone else or something, but it was just to trim. He's like, yeah, that is our base. 275. That's a good price.
Starting point is 00:21:42 That's crazy. I feel. That's a good price? Yeah. That's pretty standard. It's like $20 for a cut. You're a guy. Yeah, and you guys could go see anybody.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Like Nick wakes up on a Friday. I mean, I get my cut for free now from Shots out B. I'd say it's usually like 50, 60 bucks forever. I'm not, honestly, I'll go where I can get in. Nick goes anywhere. Supercuts. He will go to the great clips. I try to go to a salon.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Yeah, you'll go to great clips? No, I try to go to. I love a good barber shop in New York City. What would you do if your barber was drinking ice coffee at his interview? Great question. I was just thinking the same thing. I would never switch up on him. Why do you ask?
Starting point is 00:22:21 Because there is a question going around. Is it unprofessional to bring an ice coffee into an interview? And I think, yeah. Like a job interview, right? A job interview. I would always be scared if I was like... It's something you would notice. It's like if I made a coffee or stopped to get a coffee and then it was like, oh, I all of a sudden hit traffic and I'm going to be late to work.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Like, I can't walk in with this coffee because they're going to think that I just stopped to get coffee and that's why I'm late. But really, I was behind a train. Literally. Literally. So you're late to this meeting as well? No, no, no, no. You brought an ice coffee? Yeah, if you're late, then it's a bad look.
Starting point is 00:22:55 If you have too much time on your hands, it feels, you know? You're just walking in with like a shaken ice coffee and you're like... Yeah, it's not. Not good. It's like, what do you doing? Didn't you? I once didn't get a job and found out the reason why it's because I poured myself a glass of water when I sat down.
Starting point is 00:23:11 I think that's ridiculous. I don't. Did I did that? No, that you didn't get the job because of that. It's presumptuous, as you said. It's like you pour the glass of water before you're answering the question. Take a big gulp and then you're like, all right, what do you want to ask me? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:25 I would be like, it's not that deep, bro. I was thirsty. Wait, can I, can I, like, interrupt this message for some? something because I got a really interesting message earlier. And I just want to get your guys' take on it because the dating scene is a funny place in a funny world. Okay. So I'm talking to this guy and I like him.
Starting point is 00:23:45 I think he's really cool. And he's very... Did you say fuck? Me? What? No, continue. We're not official. I love you.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Yeah, yeah. It's just like friends. You know, this is just a little bit of funny. Bro, if he does one an athlete. Was he an athlete? This one? Oh, basketball player. Still.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Very good. Okay. You know, we'll chat off line. Okay. But I don't know. She's a tough critic. Okay. So, I get a text.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Yeah. And it's five photos. Oh, dear girl. Not like. You got a photo dump? I got a photo dump. In the DMs? No, no.
Starting point is 00:24:20 In a text. Oh. So it's five photos and they're professional photos. Oh. And it's just five of them. He got them off Google. No. These are his recent.
Starting point is 00:24:30 sent photos that were taken at the event that he was at. And he sent me them five photos. And this, but this isn't even like a, hey, I'm interviewing for this big job. No. I did a shoot. I'd love to get your opinion. There's no context. It was just the photos. It was just the photos. Just the five photos. They're professional. One's a black and white. And he has a type of job where like this would be done every time he goes. Every time. So obviously he's getting these photos. It's fine. But my thing is, is like, and I love the photos. I think they're great photos.
Starting point is 00:25:05 If I were to see them, it looks great. They looks great. My thing is, is like, ah, is that, that's kind of interesting. I want to know what his intent was. Is he just like tell me how good I look or help me pick out my Instagram post? No, it wasn't that. It was like the text that followed it was just hanging around. Oh, I'm dead.
Starting point is 00:25:26 And Googling myself to find photos to send me. Have you responded? I did. What did you say? Did you roast them? No, I didn't. I picked the cutest one that was like the least, like the most candid. The most candid one.
Starting point is 00:25:40 And I was like, okay, but this one is so cute. Little goofy goober grin. Because I was trying. Honest question. Yes. Honest question. Hopefully we don't air this. Don't listen to this podcast.
Starting point is 00:25:54 When you're dating, I know you well enough that like, and I like to think we're friends. We are. and there's an effect. And we care about each other. We do. And as such, like, there's some sarcasm
Starting point is 00:26:06 and some roasting. Always. And we make each other laugh. And we're just friends. And I feel like in your relationship, that that's just who you are with the people you care about. And I don't know if this is,
Starting point is 00:26:21 I don't know if this type of man is going to be able to, like, you need to know if, like, he can handle a little, because that deserves a roast. And if he's earnest about that and if he's like, if he's any
Starting point is 00:26:35 kind of serious about this, if you teasing him would hurt his feelings, you don't want to date this man. This is what I sent him back. Oh, I said this is what your next outfit will be. That's crazy. It is a full cloak. It is like, it's a cloak.
Starting point is 00:26:49 It's a full cloak. I said, this is your next outfit. Yeah, like you won't see his face. Which honestly, he was probably confused about that. No, he wasn't. What do you say? He said, you're the funniest person. El M-A-O.
Starting point is 00:27:01 That's got to be something. El-M-M-A-L means I'm just supposed to laugh. Yeah, he's like, I'm about to say, he don't know what you meant. I guess L-M-A-O. I don't know what this fucking chick means, but... Do you think he was actually laughing his ass off? No, I don't. He was probably like,
Starting point is 00:27:17 A-O-L. Because he doesn't understand my humor? No, he doesn't. How would he? No. He's like, he doesn't understand you. He doesn't get you. Like we do.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Also, the type of man to do what he does. did and send those photos and no way is expecting that kind of response. It's also crazy because, and you can stop me if I'm not allowed to say this. Tell me. When he sent you the first photo and then he responded with like, where my picks at and asked you to like send him photos, but the way he asked it was where my picks at. It is giving nude. And I was like, no, he said, where's my hug?
Starting point is 00:27:49 He's not expecting a nude, but he is on the path. No, he was saying, where's my hug? But didn't he say something about you sending him a picture? Yes, but that was it. he was like, where my hug? Like, and, like, being reciprocal to sending the photo. So, like, it was like, where's the hug? Even worse.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Yeah, because that's what the kids are saying these days. Like, where my hug? Well, he is younger than you. He is younger than me. I hope it works out for y'all, but. He's like, but I don't actually. He's like, call me after this. Jimmy, how old are you?
Starting point is 00:28:18 He seems kind of corny. 28. Perfect. Oh, my God. That is, like, right in the age range. I only do five years. That is my prime time. Then you can come to say anytime you want.
Starting point is 00:28:28 You know, you'd be perfect for age of attraction. You are not afraid of an age difference. So true. If we submit to you for age of attraction, you're out, you don't want to do it. I would love to. She's not doing dating. You can say it's not for me. She's not doing, I'm speaking for her.
Starting point is 00:28:43 She's not doing any more dating reality TV shows. That's fair. No, absolutely not. Which is, it's bad for the show because obviously I want a show to do well. And, you know, you'd be great. I know, I would. But I, yeah, you know, she's got other things on her docket. We are leaving for age of attraction to film season two soon, which is crazy wild.
Starting point is 00:29:02 I'll also just like, you know, I'm just a new, like, obviously we had no choice because we didn't make the schedule, but like having twins two and a half months ago and being ready to rock and roll is no small feat. No. It's kind of crazy because we had River and then had our wedding date already set in stone. And so that was two and a half months later. I was two and a half months postpartum at our wedding and then had the twins
Starting point is 00:29:29 and then they were like hey so we're looking to film season two of age of attraction like this time and I was like oh I'll also be two and a half months postpartum then as well so if I seem a little cuckoo crazy when y'all watch it back just know there was some hormones pumping
Starting point is 00:29:45 that's okay and you look amazing it's insane I'm very excited about it I think people I think it's gonna be great because I'm always amazed by like when people make shows how like the first season. They honestly, like, they have no, like, they're kind of just figuring it out as they go. It's shocking when it comes to reality TV, how good the producers are at thinking on the fly and just like the real good ones, like honestly are trying to figure out how to make the most authentic show. And the first season is always the hardest. And if it does well, there's like, you know,
Starting point is 00:30:14 more budget. And there's just like, also there's like a shorthand to figuring out like what you want to do. So like, love is blind. It was very successful season one. But like season two, it really popped. that's when it became like really good. So I'm hopeful. Oh my gosh. It sounds like having children. Like my dad always said that about having kids. Like the first kid,
Starting point is 00:30:33 you're just like figuring it out on the fly. And by the second, third, fourth, you kind of kind of start to figure it out. No, that is crazy. I mean,
Starting point is 00:30:39 like I grew up with brothers and sisters. So, but like I was, I hadn't changed the diaper since I was like literally probably eight years old when I was like, I wanted to help as a eight year old
Starting point is 00:30:49 and I was like, I'm good. And then I found my way out of it for the rest of my life. But there was still a level of like, yeah, I've been around kids. But then when you have a kid, it is both like surreal and also like, I don't know, it's my kid. I've got to figure it out. Yeah, no choice.
Starting point is 00:31:07 And he does change majority of the diapers. So you are making up for all your mom, not helping your mom. I've still yet to try that part. I was in charge of my nephew and me and my mom were like tag team in charge. And when it was time for that part of play, I tapped out. You haven't changed a diaper yet? No. You honestly don't, and don't let anyone convince you that you need the practice, Jim.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Because, like, you don't. And you'll figure it out. It's really not like rocket science. When people are like, oh, you should practice. It's like, it really is just like one flap here, one flap here. Also, like, I'm very much like, it's my, like, babies are cute, but like, I don't, like, I know you have baby fever right now. But like, when it comes to my- Who has baby fever?
Starting point is 00:31:49 Jimmy? No. Why? Are you serious? Come spend a weekend with us. Who is the woman? You keep two in public. You're gonna get, you're gonna.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Oh, you just, okay, so you don't have like a woman that you want to impregnate. It's just, you want to have. No, no, there's not like a specific girl I have in mind to be the mother of my baby. But. Well, of course. Well, unless. Unless we keep potting. But the idea of fatherhood is appealing to you these days.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Okay. Well, to get ready for age of attraction, we had to get the twins passports. and, you know, with twins showing up, like, we had, you know, a lot going on. So, like, we definitely were like, we got to do that. But then it was like, oh, shit, we got to do that. And there's not a lot of time. Anywho, if you are in a rush to get a passport, like, there are a few locations in this country. It's like New Orleans, Atlanta, New York, L.A.
Starting point is 00:32:42 There might be more, but there's not a ton. It's like regional for sure. It's certainly not in every state or certainly not every city. So I had to fly to L.A. to get their birth certificate. And then last Tuesday, we had to drive to Atlanta with the twins to get their passport. And that was driving with twins. It was an adventure, certainly. I had to take them to get before, you have to bring everything there.
Starting point is 00:33:12 This is like not a place that you can get the photos done. You have to come very prepared. So that's why we had to have the original birth certificates. I had to get their pictures done beforehand. So I took them to the closest post office. I don't know. Got their photos taken. What was crazy is the woman did them in the car seat, which was so nice that I didn't have to hold them up in front of a white screen or something.
Starting point is 00:33:34 But then I had to switch the babies into. So Iris was asleep. Dove was awake. So Dove did hers first. The most beautiful passport photo I've ever seen in my entire life. It's incredible. It's like, and like rivers and irises, so cute. It's so cute.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Cute. What a cute little baby. And we're like, wow, we do a good job in the making good babies. And then we see Doves photo. And we're like, oh, my God. Like Willamina. Sign her. She's stunning.
Starting point is 00:34:04 It just hits the cover of pamper's. She's stunning. But what was funny is that I was, she was like, okay, took Doves. She wanted me to switch the babies. And she goes, anyone here willing to hold a baby? And I was like, oh, no, no. That's okay. I can, I know how to do this.
Starting point is 00:34:21 I can handle it. Thank you very much. That's amazing. That's amazing that she just, honestly, trying to be helpful. Absolutely. But just like,
Starting point is 00:34:28 didn't, wasn't like, can you do this? Do you need help? Can anyone help? It was just like, automatically. Like,
Starting point is 00:34:32 there's no way she can't do this. Can somebody hold this baby? Yeah. Can somebody hold this baby? It's like when you're, it's like when the sweet woman on the airplane like offered to hold what we were, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:34:45 tossing a baby back and forth or something. One was. Brian, I needed to breastfeed him. Whatever the situation was. And the sweet woman beside him was like, yeah. She was like, can I hold one to help you? No, breastfeeding on the plane. Not pumping and dumping.
Starting point is 00:34:58 He's got a lot to learn. No, just breastfeeding. Just breastfeeding. Pumping is with the machine. Breastfeeding is just like baby on boob. He's got a lot to learn. He has a lot to learn. Or he has a child.
Starting point is 00:35:10 What did you mean? We figured out on the fly. We established this. I don't think so, Jimmy. He's really figuring out. I can't wait to hear you can. come back on air after your first kid. She just was like, do you need some help?
Starting point is 00:35:21 Do you want me to hold her? And as, like, helpful as that would have been, it just feels weird to hand your baby to a stranger. I mean, she was lovely and nothing but helpful. But yeah, there's a, there's like, I don't know, you know, you're like, I, no. Did you let her? No, I didn't. I was like, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:35:35 I wouldn't either. I would. No, Natalie's just very hands on, hands on mom. I'm not going to be that type of mom. I already know that. No, I will not. You're a hands-on auntie. Am I allowed to say you're.
Starting point is 00:35:47 Way better with kids than I expected. She really is so good with kids. Thank you. I didn't like you have a lot of thought, but you're great. Thank you. That means a lot. You change the diapers? Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:35:58 She does everything. She changes the diapers. She makes a bottle. She feeds them. She gets spit up all over her. But you're good with our kids, which is like... Yeah, but I love your kids. Yeah, but to be good with someone else's kids is it's truly like, I think, a gift.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Thank you. I receive that. I don't think it's... You do have to really care. about them. I do really care about that. And I know you do. Like so much. She plays with River. Her and River like argue like their sisters. It's actually very cute. I'm like, no. Isn't there reality TV show about manis? Yeah. We covered that. We covered that. Million dollar nannies. Yeah. And they had a couple of money. I want to apply for that one. You could be one. You're cute enough.
Starting point is 00:36:41 I do wish you the best of luck. Well, we got to go, but we still have Logan coming up next. Jimmy and I had an opportunity to you Logan from Trader's New Blood and he is an absolute delight. I'm actually really sad to see him go after talking with him. Uh, kind of an unceremonious exit. But we get to talk with him about Traders New Blood, uh, his thoughts and feelings on the current cast, uh, why he feels he went home and all the Traders questions you could possibly want. And he is up next. By the way, thanks for the gift. You're welcome. It's really, it's on the floor. It's really, it's really, I can't wait to cook with it. Yeah, tonight with steak and kale salad. And Logan, Rortrader's New Blood, everybody.
Starting point is 00:37:22 Logan, welcome to the show. Hey, thanks for having me. Super excited. Very excited to have you. First of all, sorry that you got murdered. Amen. Thanks for the well-bages. Devastating.
Starting point is 00:37:33 I guess my first question is when you went to bed that night, I know everyone's always kind of nervous. Like, I'm sure all those are pretty restless nights. But were you, how surprised were you that you got murdered when it happened versus it being like kind of dumb luck? Yeah, I wouldn't I wouldn't know all that surprised if I'm just being honest
Starting point is 00:37:52 Okay, and why was that? Well, you know, I was trying to keep that info a little bit tighter lip than I felt like, you know, Jay bringing it up at the roundtable, I just felt like maybe it wasn't the right time for me but, you know,
Starting point is 00:38:05 it happens. Hindsight would agree. And that info being, is that like you're, you being suspicious of Katie? Yes. Yeah. And what Xavier had said to me,
Starting point is 00:38:14 you know. So, so, you know, I wasn't exactly ready for that timing, but hey, it's what it is. It happened. I got me a cool little letter, I guess. They even put the little wax seal on it. It was nice. Okay. Because honestly watching it, it was unclear whether like your suspicions were like you were keeping them to yourself and like the confessionals or if it was like something that, you know, was kind of spreading around the castle. No. Yeah, I was definitely keeping it to myself quite a lot. The only people, that I told was in that small little moment where it was like Abby B and Ben and Michael.
Starting point is 00:38:53 I kind of told it to that little group. And obviously, Jay was there in the morning whenever Xavier had said that. So he knew. And we had a small moment that we mentioned it, but that's all. Okay. You know, I always, like, obviously this game is so much about strategy. You know, it's just the game. But, like, what would you have done differently if you could do it all over again?
Starting point is 00:39:15 Yeah, no. It's not what I would have done differently. It's what they should have done differently. And it's make me a traitor. You would have been a good traitor. You would have been a good trader with that voice. I don't know if anyone would have like, you got that smile. You got that country voice. Like, who would have ever thought?
Starting point is 00:39:32 Oh, man. You would have been a great traitor. I'm getting red over here. Just keep piling them on. I've never gotten so many compliments in my entire life between Joe and, you know, while we were filming. and like everything leading up after it, I've never gotten called Anselms more in my entire life. Logan, I'm going to be honest,
Starting point is 00:39:53 I did not anticipate you being so bubbly on the show. You're very, like, you know, calculated and very, you're very intentional with your demeanor. I feel like I, this is awesome. I appreciate it, man. You're a dope hang, bro. You need a bubbly personality put me on. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:40:08 Do you think, has that, have you been able to use that in life, you know, because you have you have this kind of visory, disarming kind of southern, charming voice. You got this high energy. But clearly you are capable of the strategy and making moves. Is that something you're aware of in terms of how people read you in real life? And did you try to bring that into traders? I mean, I definitely utilize personality in real estate.
Starting point is 00:40:34 You know, being a real estate agent, you've definitely got to know how to negotiate. And, you know, you're in rooms that are high stress. I've often been in the middle of million-dollar deals. So definitely important to be able to play your strengths and weaknesses. But I mean, I'm by no means out here, you know, taking tiny little notes on every detail and, you know, trying to give one over on anybody. I think that I lead and have a good reputation in my area for just being an honest dealing person. And I like to follow that because, hey, I know the good Lord's looking down on me.
Starting point is 00:41:17 I don't want to disappoint. What was your first reaction when you found out who all the traders were, specifically, Katie? Oh, man, I wasn't surprised. I mean, I knew the reason why I went home was because I sniffing the right scent, you know. But I definitely had a little bit of a suspicion on Joe, you know. you can only call a guy handsome so many times before he starts question. And then, you know, but, you know, the third one I was actually a little bit surprised about. I thought that she had some ability to be traitorous, but I just didn't think that she was one at the time.
Starting point is 00:42:02 So she was doing really good. What was it outside of maybe what Xavier just floated to you that had you kind of clocking Katie? Was there anything else you picked up on? Yeah, absolutely. So two things. So whenever they mentioned that it was two people maybe competing in, you know, plain sight, I thought that maybe they were trying to go at each other, which I guess, you know, obviously that was the case.
Starting point is 00:42:27 And secondly, she, I noticed that in nervous situation, she definitely seemed like she was putting on a little bit of a face. I mean, it's just so minute to pick up on. And, you know, at the end of the day, I'm just going off of like small instinct, but I felt like I was picking up on it a little bit, you know, and the same, same for Joe. That's what I was picking up on with Joe. I felt like you know, hey, man, he's got an Emmy in the mail coming. You know, he was putting out a little bit of a play, but he was doing great, you know. Maybe you both can remind me. Who was the one who said we have to start going after more of the men because it can't be all women
Starting point is 00:43:12 traitors and then who was the person who was like, oh, and then who was the person was like, that's some shady shit? Sherry said it, it was who clocked her on it? Abby L. said that, oh, how do you know that it was three? And she's the one that
Starting point is 00:43:28 I actually thought was the third traitor. I always, like, when I'm as a trader's fan, I always feel like that's a silly. Yeah, because I mean, you know, that's, that is, that is, that is simple logic. You may not be right, but it's like,
Starting point is 00:43:41 it's like, it probably isn't going to be all women. It just, I've, I've never seen a season. Yeah. I haven't seen them all. It's just always interesting
Starting point is 00:43:50 how quickly, um, people will like just jump on anything to try to make it an accusation. Did you, oh man. And I, I think that that's just what the early roundtables are. I mean,
Starting point is 00:44:02 you know, that's why I said whenever we voted for ERISA, I said, I knew that we were sending a faithful. home. I didn't think it was her at all, but you're not going to like be the odd one out to throw some other random name on the table because then you're going to be, you're going to be targeted by probably that person you voted for. I don't know. In the early times, I mean, it's really just not enough to go off of because the only hint that we would have had so far is the,
Starting point is 00:44:30 you know, them fighting in plain sight, Xavier and Katie. And obviously nobody saw him. right and there's not much to go off of how did you end up on the show McKenzie signed me up for it my fiance she signed me up for it it's her favorite TV show ever why you and not her why was she like it's it needs to be my my fiance like why did she think you would be perfect
Starting point is 00:44:54 as opposed to her well so we play some video games together and I don't know if y'all are familiar with like arc raiders but it's a very like you know you can either be friends or not and very often I would do the friend into a not friend very quickly because I need stuff I need the I need the goop okay you know so she she plays a lot of video games with me I'm lucky that I've got some a partner that plays games with me almost every single night
Starting point is 00:45:32 I mean she is she's just my best friend right I got it's Nick's like dream. Yeah. She's definitely my best friend. I'm glad I have it to myself, but there are a lot of men out there who love video games. And it's like, it's like the number one issue in their relationship. Yeah. Now, she, she makes me a snack plate, puts it on the plate, hops on the game with me. It's, it's great, dude. Is she got any friends? Because 10 had a dream. For real. Yeah, 10 had 10 experience for sure. But yeah, man, she's just, she's just, awesome. So she saw kind of how that I'd play some of those games and knew that I was good at, I don't know, just a little bit personable. So she thought that she'd sign me up for it.
Starting point is 00:46:17 And we argued and argued about this, if I'm just being honest. I was like, McKenzie, nobody's going to pay attention to me. Nobody's going to see me and be like, yeah, let's put him on TV. So it was like three days in a row. She kept asking me to just sit down and press record and talk to a camera. And, well, eventually on that third day, she picked out my outfit, okay, wrote me a little kind of like guide on what I should say and set up the cameras and lights in the bathroom and said, Logan, 15 minutes, I'm putting a timer on my phone. All you got to do is sit down and talk. I said, you know, so I finally listened to the boss, I guess, and went in and talked. In your application, did you say you wanted to be a traitor? You think you'd be best suited as a trader?
Starting point is 00:47:05 I want to know what your strategy would have been. Well, you know, I can't talk too much because they might put me on the next season. Who knows, man? I want to ruin it just, yeah. All I'm going to say is I'm going to play good. After working in TV for 15 years and talking to you, I can see why you got casted, man. Well, I really appreciate that. Before we let you go, obviously there's a lot of people left.
Starting point is 00:47:28 But give me three people that you wouldn't be surprised if they ended up winning traders. Okay. So if Katie doesn't get sent home after what I'd left, I think that she has a really good chance. I think that Abby B. has a really good chance. She's a super kind, super great personality. And I think that if she's left in there, she'll definitely pick up on the trail. And if Jay doesn't get his ass sent home, he'll probably have a good chance to win it. What do you think of Jay's chaos?
Starting point is 00:48:02 us. I'm not going to lie. I don't think that they showed it, but there was a time or two where I even pulled it both sides to myself, and I was like, Jay, we got to bring her down. It is what it is. I think that he's playing his own game and it's unique and it's, you can't be mad at him for it. He's trying to make his own personality. We were all on TV for the first time in this experience. So he's making the most out of his opportunity. And at the end of the day, TV is all about having a big personality and buddy is doing that. Correct me if I'm wrong, Logan, because like, yeah, it's by having big personality, but like this show specifically, you got to win.
Starting point is 00:48:39 And I feel like, yeah, he's annoying. But I, you know, you can't hit the player hate the game, but the game seems like it would work if he wasn't on to an actual trader. If he was onto a fateful, then a trader would want to keep him in. Absolutely, because he's making so much chaos that the traders are going to want to keep him around, right? And that's the fact that he's clocking an actual trader. a lot of his of his I think that's a lot of his strategy right now and like just like you said
Starting point is 00:49:06 if he wasn't on a trader he would be left in just for that chaos factor because that's what the traders love right is is everything to be mixed up and and not a clear picture on on where to look he almost has to like make a make an alliance with the trader be like hey I know it's yeah or he has to get her off at this next round table like right away because if not he's out of there Exactly. I think so too. You know, wish the best for my buddy. He was so, so, so nice to me. I felt like we connected good while we were in that castle. But yeah, he's either going to win or get himself in him and probably not even by the traders. Logan, it's been a pleasure talking with you. We're sad to see you get eliminated, but we appreciate taking the time. Before we let you go, though, I did hear that you and your fiancenz, it's your goal to maybe get married. in the castle? Is that accurate? Yes, sir. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 00:50:00 How do we make that happen? I heard that Alan is ordained. Hook me up, man. I'll meet you there again. You've met Alan. You know, like, you've been on the show. Like, have you floated this to any of the producers? Have you asked for any help? I haven't. I'm not a guy that is good at asking for help. Well, let's ask for it right now.
Starting point is 00:50:24 If any producers are. All right. Alan, hook me up. Shoot a shot, brother. Season one of New Blood, I think this would be great to have, there's got to be a way we can make this happen. And you would want Alan Cummings to, or to marry you to? That would be so cool. That would be sick.
Starting point is 00:50:45 That'd be sick. I'm a little upset you didn't mention Mark. And I'm kind of curious why everybody says he's the golden retriever because he isn't getting too much screen time, but everybody seems to love him. So I'm keeping my eye on, Mark. Truthfully, I didn't, I didn't speak to him too, too much. He's just, he's just, he's just a bro, man. I don't know what I'm saying any different. He's just, yeah, he's just a bro. You know, whenever you do talk to him, he's nice. You're like, what's good? You know, and then you move on.
Starting point is 00:51:11 It's just, that is. Congratulations just on being on the show. Very cool opportunity. Thank you so much. And shout out to your wife, McKenzie, for getting you on. And congratulations on the engagement. Best of luck to both you. Thank you so. Sorry to see you guys so soon, but we appreciate you taking the time, man. Well, thank you so much for having me. Again, you're McKenzie's favorite podcast, and I know that she's going to be jumping up and down for joy whenever she's leaves me on here. So make sure you get my good side just for her, you know? I don't know which side it is, but you pick, okay? Whichever side it is, put it on there. Hey, brother, you're great. It's an infectious personality, Logan. We appreciate you, man.
Starting point is 00:51:53 best of luck with everything going forward. Thank you, guys. Have a good one. Take care. Bye. Thank you to our guest, Logan, from Traders New Blood. We'll see you back tomorrow for a jam-packed episode. Bye-bye.
