In Scarborough, there's this fire behind our eyes.
A passion in our bellies.
It's in the hearts of our neighbors.
The eyes of our nurses.
And the hands of our doctors.
It's what makes Scarborough, Scarborough.
In our hospitals, we do more than anyone thought possible.
We've less than anyone could imagine.
But it's time to imagine what we can do with more.

Israel and Hamas have carried out
another hostages-for-jeetenees exchange.
More than 180 Palestinians were bussed
to the West Bank and Gaza hours
after Hamas released three Israeli men. But this time, the now former hostages were not
in good health. Sasha Petricic has more.
Joy and relief as families and friends of Israeli hostages watched three more released by Hamas.
There was despair too though as they came out looking frail.
Yotem Cohen worries about his brother Nimrod still being held.
I was horrified as to the devastating photos of the hostages
looking like survivors from a concentration camp.
That set off a day of finger pointing,
as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
called the scenes shocking.
But as 183 Palestinian release detainees arrived in Gaza, they accused Israel of mistreatment.
They took our clothes, they deprived us of food, says Hatem Quaidar.
As new negotiations start aimed at extending the ceasefire and releasing more hostages,
today's accusations have only heightened mistrust.
Sasha Petrusik, CBC News, Tel Aviv.
Russia has intercepted and destroyed 35 Ukrainian drones.
That's according to the Russian Defence Ministry.
That also adds the incident took place overnight. At least half of the drones were destroyed over
the Kursk region near Ukraine. The rest of the drones were intercepted in Russia's
West and South. In southern Mexico, local government officials say at least 41
people are dead after a bus crash and that most of the passengers and the
driver were killed. Images show the bus engulfed in flames and then completely
burned out
after colliding with the truck. This woman says she heard screams and tried to
help but couldn't do much. The bus operator is profoundly sorry and is
working with authorities to find out what happened. In Madrid, Spain. Do you want to make Spain great again?
That's the leader of Estonia's far-right conservative People's Party speaking at a
gathering of far-right politicians under a banner reading, Make Europe Great Again.
Those attending belong to the third largest voting bloc in European Union's
parliament, known as Patriots for
Europe.
They see Donald Trump's return to power as a sign that the far right is gaining strength.
President Donald Trump has been in office for less than three weeks, but he's been
busy uprooting and overturning just about every US federal government department.
The plan is to try and overwhelm the opposition, but as Chris Reyes tells us, it's being met
with legal resistance.
As President Donald Trump goes into his third week of office, the executive orders keep
piling up.
Washington State Attorney General, Nick Brown.
What we're facing right now is a Trump administration and on a daily, daily basis, breaking the
law, violating the United States Constitution.
Across the country, Democrats, civil rights groups and activists have turned to the courts
to stem the tide of Trump's aggressive agenda.
John Alsop writes for the Columbia Journalism Review.
The courts are a potent weapon to fight back against Trump for his opponents for sure,
but the legal system is very, very slow.
So far, some temporary holds have been put on Trump's executive orders.
A federal judge in New York blocked the newly created Department of Government Efficiency
from accessing the Treasury Department's payment and data system.
The unofficial agency is led by Elon Musk, who's been repeatedly praised by Trump for
the work he's doing.
Chris Reyes, CBC News, New York.
And the Liberal Party will hold two leadership debates in Montreal. A French language one
on February 24th and an English one the next day on February 25th. The winner of the leadership
race will be announced on March 9th.
