In Scarborough, there's this fire behind our eyes.
A passion in our bellies.
It's in the hearts of our neighbors.
The eyes of our nurses.
And the hands of our doctors.
It's what makes Scarborough, Scarborough.
In our hospitals, we do more than anyone thought possible.
We've less than anyone could imagine.
But it's time to imagine what we can do with more.

Canada has won the inaugural
Four Nations Face-Off Tournament
beating in the United States in thrilling fashion.
As seen on Roger's sports net, Connor McDavid of Richmond Hill, Ontario, netted the game
winner just over eight minutes into the first overtime as Canada beat the US 3-2 in Boston. Goalie
Jordan Bennington, also from Richmond Hill, turned aside 31 shots for the win, and Coal
Harbor Nova Scotia native Nathan McKinnon was named the tournament's most valuable player.
But even before the first puck was dropped, a controversial start when Canadian singer Chantal Kravizac, singing Oh Canada,
rewarded some of the lyrics.
CBC News has confirmed through Kravizac's representative Adam Gonshar
that she intentionally changed the lyrics. The RCMP have arrested two people for allegedly bilking hundreds of Canadians out of millions
of dollars.
The Mounties say the accused impersonated bank, government and law enforcement officials.
Inspector Lena Dabbitt.
Evidence indicates that the scale of their operation was enormous.
We allege that these individuals are
responsible for millions of dollars of loss to victims across Canada. The
Ontario RCMP has so far compiled a list of at least 570 victims coast to coast.
Two people are charged with fraud, unauthorized computer use, money
laundering, unauthorized possession of credit card data, and possessing the proceeds of crime.
They're expected to appear in court on Friday.
It's been three days since a Delta Airlines crash landed in Toronto, ending up on its
roof.
Now the plane has been removed from the tarmac, but delays and cancellations remain at Toronto's
Pearson Airport. Lisa Shing has the latest. They should come to the table and pony up something.
Steve Kennedy drove two hours to Toronto to catch a flight to Mexico. On the way he found out Sunwing
cancelled his trip so he rebooked on another airline. He is just one of many whose trips were
cancelled by Sunwing. The Vacation Airline told CBC News it was doing that to prioritize the return of customers delayed at their destinations.
On Monday afternoon, Delta Flight 4819 arriving from Minneapolis crashed and flipped upside down on the tarmac at Toronto's Pearson.
21 people on board were sent to hospital. All of them now released.
The plane now removed from the runway, but travel for many is still interrupted.
Duncan D is the former chief operating officer at Air Canada.
Anyone who is traveling by air right now will be impacted.
Sunwing did not say for how long the disruptions would last.

Unifor says the future employment of 2,200 auto workers at Stellantis in Brampton, Ontario
is up in the air. The automaker has announced it's pausing work on the next generation
electrified Jeep Compass SUV. It was scheduled to go into production in Brampton at the end
of the year. It's not clear if the pause will result in layoffs.
U.S. President Donald Trump says the only way for Canada to avoid tariffs is to become
the 51st state.
Trump made the remarks earlier tonight at a meeting of the National Governors Association
and once again referred to the Prime Minister as Governor Trudeau.
Because I do like the old Canada, right?
It's a beautiful thing.
I think we're going to have to keep it for the 51st state. I call him Governor Trudeau. Because I do like the old Canada, right? It's a beautiful thing. I think we're going to have to keep it for the 51st state.
I call him Governor Trudeau.
I said Governor Trudeau is doing a wonderful job.
I think it's actually cost him his election, if you want to know that.
Trump claims the tariffs will bring the U.S. billions of dollars in investment.
By the way, Trump earlier in the day posted on his social media page he was looking forward
to the U.S. beating our soon-to-be 51st state.
And that is your World This Hour.
