Her remains were turned over by the militant group Hamas to Israel earlier today. Israeli Army Radio confirmed the identification was positively made, also saying that Bebus was likely killed in captivity with her children, infant Kefir Bebus and his four-year-old brother Ariel. Six more living Israeli hostages are expected to be turned over to the International Red Cross and then the IDF on Saturday. In return, Israel is expected to turn over hundreds of Palestinian detainees and prisoners. The Liberal Party is kicking Ruby Dalla out of the race to replace Justin Trudeau as

leader and prime minister. In a statement, it says Dalla is accused of 10 violations, including the party's leadership and expense rules. Dalla denies the allegations. Raffi Budja Canyon has more. These are false and fabricated stories. Ruby Dalla forcefully denying the allegations against her by the liberals she was once hoping to lead as Canada's next Prime Minister. It is very alarming. Those allegations, the party says, they include violating Canadian electoral law and inaccurate financial reporting.

A source told CBC News she accepted donations from a corporation as payments to campaign staff and failed to disclose the involvement of a non-Canadian citizen in her campaign. Dalla alleges the Liberals simply want her out of the picture. They want, did not want anyone challenging their blue-eyed boy, Mark Carney. She says she has not decided whether she will appeal this decision. Dalla is the second leadership contestant booted from this race. The first was Ottawa MP Chandra Arya. The party did not disclose why he was kicked out. The remaining four contenders square off in two debates next

week. Rafi Bajikyan, YonCBC News, Ottawa. Ottawa says it's removing about half of its barriers to internal trade. And internal trade minister Anita Anand will meet with her provincial counterparts next week. As Olivia Stefanovic reports, the move comes just before U.S. tariffs could hit. From Canadian beer and wine to trucking regulations and skilled tradespeople, Labour Minister Steve MacKinnon says the federal government is working with the provinces and territories to remove internal trade barriers and regulations. That have existed for far too long and have grown a bit like weeds. Today, Internal Trade Minister Anita Onond informed the provinces the federal government is

eliminating 20 of 39 remaining federal barriers in the Canada Free Trade Agreement, a move applauded by BC jobs minister Diana Gibson. It's really great to see the federal government coming to the table with such substantive movement. Staff. Brown was fired by President Donald Trump today. Brown was just the second black general to serve as chairman. In a post on his social media page, Trump said he was nominating retired Air Force Lieutenant General Dan Razin-Kane to replace Brown. Trump also fired two other senior officers as he makes good on his plan to reshape the Pentagon. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had called out Brown in the past for his leadership, and in a book that he wrote, questioned whether Brown was given the job because he was black. Kane is white. Apple will stop offering its strongest data protection in the UK.

The company made the decision after reports the British government was demanding Apple build a backdoor to the program.
