In Scarborough, there's this fire behind our eyes.
A passion in our bellies.
It's in the hearts of our neighbors.
The eyes of our nurses.
And the hands of our doctors.
It's what makes Scarborough, Scarborough.
In our hospitals, we do more than anyone thought possible.
We've less than anyone could imagine.
But it's time to imagine what we can do with more.

amidst a US proposed ceasefire deal.
During the UK led meetings,
Zelensky called on European allies
to consider
putting troops in his country.
The contingent must be stationed on Ukrainian soil.
Zelensky also added that it's too early to talk about concessions in territory. Earlier
this week, President Putin said he's open to the Trump ceasefire proposal, but has stopped
short of backing it. Putin has raised concerns about who would police the ceasefire proposal but has stopped short of backing it. Putin has raised concerns about

out deadly airstrikes on Iran-backed Houthi rebels targets in Yemen. The Houthi-run health
ministry reports at least nine deaths and nine
injuries. President Donald Trump says he ordered the strikes in response to attacks on international
shipping and aircrafts in and around the Red Sea. Attacks, the militants claim,
were a show of support for Hamas and Gaza to Serbia.
An estimated 100,000 people converged in Belgrade today to protest
the country's president Aleksandar Vucic. The rally is believed to be the biggest
anti-government protests ever held in the country. The almost daily protests
began after 15 people died in a railway station collapse last November, which some blamed corruption
under Vujicic's leadership. At least 32 people are dead following a multi-threat storm in
the U.S. Midwest and South. There have been thunderstorms and tornadoes which have battered
the area since Friday. James Holland lives in Shannon, Arkansas. He had his home damaged,
but he's thankful his family is okay.
They're alive and breathing, so that's the main part.
You can replace the house, but you can't replace the person.
The severe weather is expected to last into Sunday morning.
Alberta is the latest province to be hit with measles outbreaks, first in a northern First
Nation, now in Calgary.
Sam Sandson has more on the spread and how it plays into other cases across Canada.
I don't think we're surprised.
Dr. Craig Jenney researches infectious diseases at the University of Calgary.
With the ease of travel and the fact that Calgary is a large transport hub, you know,
really was a matter of time.
Alberta Health Services announced late Friday night there's a confirmed measles case in the Calgary area with potential
exposures in Airdrie, a bedroom community of the prairie's largest city. But
Alberta's first cases were up north in Little Red River Cree Nation. Six people
are recovering now with another potential case. Saskatchewan has one
confirmed case. Manitoba has had six since February. Five of those
cases are related to an outbreak in Ontario, the province with by far the most measles
cases in Canada.
Measles is really one plane right away.
Dr. Jared Bullard is professor and section head of pediatric infectious disease at the
University of Manitoba. He says measles isn't an endemic in Canada right now. It's not widespread,
which is why he says vaccinations can keep it at bay.
