When they predict we'll fall, we rise to the challenge.
When they say we're not a country, we stand on guard.
This land taught us to be brave and caring, to protect our values, to leave no one behind.
Canada is on the line and it's time to vote as though our country depends on it.
Because like never before, it does.
I'm Jonathan Pedneau, co-leader of the Green Party of Canada.
This election, each vote makes a difference. Authorized by the Registeredleader of the Green Party of Canada. This election, each vote makes a difference.

From CBC News, the world is sour.

Advanced polls are now open across the country and some long lineups suggest that many Canadians
are ready to vote.
This comes following two leaders' debates and with just over a week left in the race.
Julia Wong has more from Ottawa.
A key sign the election campaign is heading for the home stretch.
The opening of advanced polls drawing long lineups of voters.
I've been here for half an hour and I don't care how long it takes
because I just want to vote.
Party leaders are trying to convince undecided voters why they should lead the country.
Liberal leader Mark Carney said he is best suited to deal with the cross-border chasm
created by Donald Trump.
The key question in this election is who is best placed to respond.
Who will stand up to President Trump?
Conservative leader Pierre Polly have repeatedly leaned into his message that it's time for
a new government.
Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet appealed to the party's traditional voters.
NDP leader Jagmeet Singh highlighted how new Democrats will keep the government accountable.
Those advance polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through the Easter long weekend. Julia Wong, CBC News.
In Alberta, a wildfire east of Elk Island National Park has prompted the closure of Highway 16.
Some residents north of the area have been ordered to evacuate.
The wildfire has spread to multiple structures including the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage
Village.
No injuries have been reported.
The US Supreme Court has ordered the Trump administration not to deport alleged Venezuelan
gang members currently based in Texas as litigation continues.
The court did not grant or deny an application filed by lawyers for the detainees, but it
effectively hit pause on the case which affects people currently held within the jurisdiction
of the Northern District of Texas.
U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen is urging El Salvador to act in the case of a mistakenly
deported resident of Maryland.
Salvadorian Kilmar Abrego Garcia was sent to a super prison in his native country despite
being granted protection by a judge in 2019.
Van Hollen flew to speak with Garcia in El Salvador
and says securing the meeting was difficult.
He says this case is not just about Garcia.
It's about protecting the constitutional rights
of everybody who resides in the United States of America.
Yes!
If you deny the constitutional rights of one man,
you threaten the constitutional rights
and due process
for everyone else in America.
Both the U.S. and El Salvador have refused to arrange Garcia's release.
The Trump administration says without proof Garcia is a gang member and that his fate
now rests with El Salvador.
The U.S. could abandon Russia-Ukraine peace talks if it doesn't see progress soon.
Stalled ceasefire negotiations have led to mounting frustration on all sides and conflicting messages from the White House. Philip Lee Shannock has the latest.
We're not going to continue with this endeavor for weeks and months on end.
In Paris, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio suggested the U.S. was days away from leaving
talks if a deal is not imminent. We have other priorities to focus on as well.
But hours later in Rome, US Vice President JD Vance
sounded much more optimistic.
We think we have some interesting things to report on.
We do feel optimistic that we can hopefully
bring this war, this very brutal war, to a close.
From the Oval Office, US President Donald Trump
suggested one side was being difficult.
He didn't say whether it was Russia or Ukraine,
but just that the time to make a deal was now or...
We're gonna just take a pass, but hopefully we won't have to do that.
And Marco's right in saying it, we're getting, we want to see it end.
Trump declined to say what would happen to American military aid to Ukraine should the US decide to abandon ceasefire negotiations.
