When they predict we'll fall, we rise to the challenge.
When they say we're not a country, we stand on guard.
This land taught us to be brave and caring, to protect our values, to leave no one behind.
Canada is on the line and it's time to vote as though our country depends on it.
Because like never before, it does.
I'm Jonathan Pedneau, co-leader of the Green Party of Canada.
This election, each vote makes a difference. Authorized by the Registeredleader of the Green Party of Canada. This election, each vote makes a difference.

From CBC News, the world this hour.
I'm Neil Herland.
U.S. President Donald Trump is lashing out at Canada tonight.
This time he's musing about raising auto tariffs.
Katie Simpson reports from Washington.
Hello everybody.
U.S. President Donald Trump had largely toned down his attacks on Canada for much of the
Canadian election until now, as he delivered a new tariff threat.
I really don't want cars from Canada.
So when I put tariffs on Canada, they're paying 25%, but
that could go up in terms of cars.
There is already a 25% tariff on all foreign-made autos, but Kuzma-compliant goods are exempt
for now. There's also border security tariffs of 25% on all goods, with a lower 10% on energy
and potash. Again, Kuzma-compliant goods are also exempt.
And there's the global 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum.
We don't really want Canada to make cars for us,
to put it bluntly.
We want to make our own cars.
During an Oval Office event,
Trump revisited some of his favourite complaints
about Canada, including his exaggerated claims
about the size of the
trade deficit. Katie Simpson, CBC News, Washington.
While Canada's auto sector is reacting to President Donald Trump's latest tariff threat,
John Dagnolo is president of Unifor Local 200, which represents Ford workers in Windsor,
Ontario.
They're going to hurt us as employees. They're going to hurt the U.S. employees by doing
this.
This makes absolute no sense and I don't understand his logic whatsoever or the people around
him to be quite frank with you.
Dagnolo also says the tariffs will hurt the profits of American auto companies.
On the election campaign trail, conservative leader Pierre Polyaev is promising to give police more power in dismantling tent encampments.
The CBC's Cameron McIntosh has more.
We're going to restore safe streets for...
Speaking in Hamilton, Conservative leader Pierre Polyev again pushing a tough on crime message.
This time, homeless encampments.
Letting these tent cities spread is not compassion, it is chaos.
Polyev is promising to amend the criminal code,
giving police more powers to remove encampments
and charge people blocking access to public space.
And for those found with illegal drugs, mandatory treatment.
And we will allow judges to give them a sentence of drug treatment.
The Canadian Mental Health Association says evidence supporting mandatory treatment is
inconclusive.
Poliev's latest promise comes after an endorsement by the Toronto Police Association.

The upcoming professional women's hockey league season will feature a whole new team.
The league is announcing its seventh franchise in Vancouver.
John Hernandez has reaction.
We are so excited because right here in Vancouver, we got a team!
After weeks of rumors, 9-year-old Sydney Milden and her youth hockey teammates make it official. Vancouver will be home to the Professional Women's Hockey League's first expansion team.
League executive Amy Shear said the city stood out among several different markets in both
the U.S. and Canada.
In January, the league held a sold-out regular season game at Vancouver's Rogers Arena.
Your fan base is engaged, it's vibrant. It's fun over 19,000 people
at our game here.
The team will play at the
Pacific Coliseum on the PNE
grounds which can seat more
than 16,000 fans.
It will be the primary
tenant of the arena.
The franchise is expected to
drop the puck for the first
time at the start of the 2025
2026 PWHL season.
John Hernandez, CBC News,
Vancouver.
Another loss tonight for the Montreal Canadiens
in the playoffs.
To ball for McMichael, empty net scores.
The Washington Capitals made a third goal
in the final second of play tonight
to beat the Habs 3-1.
Right now, the Edmonton Oilers are playing the LA Kings.
The Kings are ahead 3-1. Right now the Edmonton Oilers are playing the LA Kings. The Kings are ahead
3-1 after two periods.
And that is your World This Hour. For CBC News, I'm Neal Herland.
