When they predict we'll fall, we rise to the challenge.
When they say we're not a country, we stand on guard.
This land taught us to be brave and caring, to protect our values, to leave no one behind.
Canada is on the line and it's time to vote as though our country depends on it.
Because like never before, it does.
I'm Jonathan Pedneau, co-leader of the Green Party of Canada.
This election, each vote makes a difference. Authorized by the Registeredleader of the Green Party of Canada. This election, each vote, makes a difference.

From CBC News, the world this hour.
I'm Neil Herland.
US President Donald Trump is threatening to increase tariffs on Canada once again.
Trump made the comment last night at the White House.
I really don't want cars from Canada.
So when I put tariffs on Canada, they're paying 25 percent, but that could go up in terms
of cars.
When we put tariffs on it, all we're doing is we're saying, we don't want your cars in
all due respect.
We want really to make our own cars, which is what we're doing in record numbers now.
You know, we're going to be at record levels in the very near future because of all the plants,
the car plants that are being built.
There's already a 25% U.S. tariff on all foreign-made autos,
but goods under the North American free trade deal are exempt for now.
Trump also repeated his false claim that the United
States subsidizes Canada to the tune of 200 billion dollars a year. Liberal
leader Mark Carney is reacting sharply to President Trump and his latest digs
against Canada. Carney mentioned Trump's threats during a speech in Surrey, BC
last night. The CBC's Tom Perry was there. Who is ready? Who is ready to stand up for Canada with me?
Mark Carney in Surrey, BC on a day when Donald Trump barged back into Canadian politics.
The US president repeating his false claims about the US subsidizing its northern neighbour
and his wish that Canada become America's 51st state. He's feeding his false claims about the U.S. subsidizing its northern neighbor
and his wish that Canada become America's 51st state.
As he made clear once again today in the Oval Office,
once again today in the Oval Office,
President Trump, he is trying to break us so that America can own us.
Trump had, for the most most part gone quiet on Canada, but his latest meanderings could fuel
the Liberals in the final days of this election.
Carney is in B.C. looking to win writings held by conservatives and New Democrats.
Tom Perry, CBC News, Surrey, B.C.
NDP leader Jagmeet Singh also responded to Trump's tariff threat during a campaign stop
in Winnipeg last night.
This is horrible.
I grew up in Windsor, the automotive capital of Canada, and increasing tariffs even higher
would decimate the jobs in Windsor and would decimate our automotive sector.
Singh wants to expand employment insurance benefits to help workers who could be laid off because of the tariff threat.
Election Day is quickly approaching and homeless shelters are working to get the message out.
That's because voters who are homeless often face barriers to voting.
As Josh Crabb reports, efforts are underway to make it easier.
I always watch about it on the news, about who's running and all that.
He doesn't have a permanent address, but that won't stop Edward Parisian from voting.
For many others staying at homeless shelters in Winnipeg's inner city, not having a place
to live is a barrier, so is a lack of identification.
Margo Ross with Salome Mission says that shouldn't stop people from taking part.
We'll have drop-in staff who hold the strongest relationships with our community members,
encouraging folks to go out and vote.
Elections Canada dropped off forms to homeless shelters across the country.
Staff vote for the identity of people who use their services and tell them where to vote.
Cindy Titus with Main Street Project says they helped 17 people in Winnipeg vote in advance.
The folks that we serve have a lot of other things going on
and that they made voting a priority in their days, that's a pretty big deal.
Josh Crabb, CBC News, Winnipeg.
An overnight attack killed nine people in Ukraine.
With missiles and drones hitting the capital, 70 people are wounded, including children.
The Edmonton Oilers lost their second playoff game last night to the LA Kings.
Meantime the Washington Capitals beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-1 last night to take
game two of their series.
And that is your World This Hour.
For CBC News, I'm Neal Hurland.
