When they predict we'll fall, we rise to the challenge.
When they say we're not a country, we stand on guard.
This land taught us to be brave and caring, to protect our values, to leave no one behind.
Canada is on the line and it's time to vote as though our country depends on it.
Because like never before, it does.
I'm Jonathan Pedneau, co-leader of the Green Party of Canada.

Are we going to give them a fourth Liberal term?
Still leading the polls, Liberal leader Mark Carney is in Vote Rich
Ontario, starting in Sault Ste. Marie, asking for a strong mandate. I'm asking for your vote
to stand up to Donald Trump. The NDP and Bloc Québécois both hope to hold the balance of power in a
minority government. NDP leader Jagmeet Singh taking aim at the Bloc. Sadly, the Bloc is basically a
useless party. Bloc leader Yves-Francois Blanchet brushing that off,
urging Quebecers not to hand the Carney liberals too much power.
He is a different person from Mr. Trudeau,
though his people around him are exactly the same.
And only three days to go.

A new jury has been selected for a sexual assault trial involving five former World
Junior Hockey players.
It happened after the presiding judge declared a mistrial in the case and dismissed the previous
jury.
The reasons for that decision are under a publication ban.
Mistrials are declared when a trial is perceived to be unfair.
Criminal lawyer Sam Pujala says it was not influenced by the case being high profile.
It's not because it's hockey Canada, it's not because of these accused individuals, it really
is an issue that presented itself that affected the fundamental fairness of the trial. That was
the view of the judge and that was an application that was made and those are applications that
frequently happen in the courts. The five hockey players were charged last year in connection with an alleged assault
that took place in London, Ontario back in 2018.
People in India staged candlelight vigils and protests after an attack in Kashmir earlier
this week killed more than two dozen people.
The attack has triggered outrage and grief and calls for action against Pakistan. New Delhi is accusing Pakistan of harboring and encouraging terrorists in Kashmir.

Indian authorities are hunting for four suspects.
Russia is blaming Ukraine for a car bombing that killed a Russian army general near Moscow.
A Kremlin spokesperson did not provide proof and Ukraine has not commented on the attack.
Today's bombing happened a short time before US Special Envoy Steve Woodcoff met with President
Vladimir Putin in the Capitol.
The Kremlin says they discussed the possibility of direct talks between Ukraine and Russia.
In a major escalation of the Trump administration's battle over immigration laws, the FBI has
arrested a sitting judge in Milwaukee.
They accuse her of getting in the way of a deportation operation.
Paul Hunter has more.
Judge, anything to say about this?
Leaving the courthouse, Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan said nothing.
The judge, having earlier been arrested by federal authorities, accused of obstructing
immigration agents in the courthouse as they waited to arrest a man for potential deportation,
all part of a U.S. crackdown on illegal migrants.
You're not going to believe this.
Takes the defendant and the defense attorney back in her chambers, takes them out of private
exit and tells him to leave.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on Fox News
slamming Dugan and other judges.
She brands as similarly stalling
or trying to block the stepped up deportations.
I think some of these judges think they are beyond
and above the law and they are not.
Dugan's lawyer said in a statement,
the judge, quote, wholeheartedly regrets and protests are not. Dugan's lawyer said in a statement the judge, quote, wholeheartedly regrets and protests
