The CBC's Briar Stewart has more from Rome.
A lot of people came here because they really wanted to see
the final goodbye to Pope Francis.
And you can hear those just majestic church bells ringing
and people will be able to watch on the screens below.
Rome is a very busy city at any time. This is a jubilee year, so the city was expecting a lot of pilgrims
to begin with and then of course thousands have come in for the funeral. And I'm joined
by one woman here, Amelia Perry. Her parents are Canadian, in fact they just flew back
to Toronto. But I wanted to ask you why it was so important for you to come out here and be here in person.
We want to show that Papa Francesco teaches us to pray for the peace.
And it will help to have a new Pope like Papa Francesco.
The procession from St. Peter's Square to here will take about an hour.
But people here lined up first thing this morning just to be able

The NDP and Bloc Québécois both hope to hold the balance of power in a minority government.

And only three days to go. Cameron McIntosh, CBC News, Ottawa.

Polls suggest the party's two seats could be overturned.
As Olivia Stavanovic reports, the party is fighting for survival.
It's a very unusual election.

of her life.
The Green Party co-leader is in a three-way contest with the liberals and conservatives,
battling to keep her usually safe seat in the riding of Saanich Gulf Islands.

A quiet sense of perhaps your time is done.
Michael Prince is a political scientist at the University of Victoria.
He says concerns about affordability, Canada's sovereignty and the trade war with the U.S.
are squeezing May and her party's focus on climate change out.
Voters will ultimately decide on Monday if Greens continue to champion that work or cease
to exist in the House of Commons altogether.
