We look into the shocking prevalence of forced labor, mine boggling overfishing, migrants hunted and captured. The Outlaw Ocean takes you where others won't. Available on CBC Listen or wherever you get your podcasts. From CBC News, the world this hour, I'm Gina Louise Phillips.
Starting point is 00:00:38 We begin in Minnesota. This was an act of targeted political violence. They did drive a vehicle that looked exactly like an SUV squad car equipped with emergency
Starting point is 00:01:13 lights that looked exactly like a police vehicle. And yes, they were wearing a vest with taser, other equipment, a badge very similar to mine. No question if they were in this room, you would assume that they are a police officer. The suspect was leaving the home of the second attack when he was approached by police. He opened fire on them, then escaped through the back of the house. Hundreds of law enforcement officers are combing the area for the gunman. Brule says a manifesto and a list of targets were found in the vehicle and the victims were on the list. Israel's military says it's hit more targets
Starting point is 00:01:45 inside Iran and says there will be more attacks in the coming days. Anna Cunningham has more. Iranian air defences activated above the skies in Tehran in response to fresh Israeli airstrikes. Israel has already struck Iranian nuclear and military facilities with a barrage of missiles Friday, killing several top officials and leading scientists. Iran's ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeed Irvani, said 78 people had been killed and 320 wounded in the first wave of Israeli airstrikes. Israel has hit the Netan's uranium enrichment site and the nuclear facility at Isfahan, raising concerns from the International Atomic Energy Agency about safety at the sites.

Anna Cunningham, CBC News, London. Indian government officials have ordered inspections of Air India's entire fleet of Boeing 787s following this week's crash. We also felt that there is a need to do an extended surveillance into the Boeing 787 series. So from the DGCA we have also given an order to do the extended surveillance
Starting point is 00:03:06 for the 787 planes. There are 34 in our Indian aircraft fleet today. The job of identifying the victims both from the plane and on the ground continues, with the use of dental records and DNA testing. So far only 11 have been identified and an investigation into the cause of the crash continues. In London now. The Trooping the Colour ceremony officially honouring the King's birthday. And Royal Family used the event to pay tribute to the victims of this week's Air India crash. The Oilers tied their series against the defending champion Florida Panthers at two games apiece with a come-from-behind 5-4 overtime victory Thursday night. Very exciting.
