I'm Joshua Jackson, and I'm returning for the Audible original series,
Oracle, Season 3, Murder at the Grandview.
Six forty-somethings took a boat out a few days ago.
One of them was found dead.
The hotel, the island, something wasn't right about it.
Psychic agent Nate Russo is back on the case,
and you know when Nate's killer instincts are required,
anything's possible.
This world's gonna eat you alive.
Listen to Oracle Season 3, Murder at the Grandview, now on Audible.
From CBC News, The World This Hour, I'm Gavin Day.
Iran is pledging its latest round of strikes won't stop until dawn.
Attacks between Iran and Israel are
escalating along with the threats. In a recent interview, Israel's prime minister did not
rule out killing Iran's spiritual and supreme leader, Margaret Evans reports.
The moment an Israeli attack hit Iran's state broadcaster during a live feed, knocking it off the air at least temporarily.
Earlier, the Israeli military issued evacuation orders telling residents nearby to leave for
their own safety, a practice it's used in both Lebanon and Gaza. Iran's leaders denounced
it as psychological warfare.
But Israel now claims complete aerial control of the skies above Tehran
and is making use of it.
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told troops the aims are in sight.
The Israeli military says it's destroyed a third of Iran's ballistic missile
launchers.
But in Israel, some Iranian missiles are still finding their way through sophisticated defenses.
Margaret Evans, CBC News, Petit Kva.
France's president spoke on the situation between Iran and Israel while at the G7.
Emmanuel Macron saying US President Donald Trump has made a ceasefire offer.
Macron says the offer was made to kickstart broader discussions. Trump is
leaving Alberta early. White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt says that's due
to the escalating conflict. Before leaving the G7, Trump met Monday with
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. We feel a sense of acceleration in the
discussions in the last couple of weeks,
and that is a very good thing.
Kristen Hillman is upbeat about those talks.
Canada's ambassador to the U.S. says trade discussions went well.
Prime Minister Mark Carney says on social media he and Trump have agreed to work
towards a deal within the next 30 days. Hillman spoke alongside the minister
responsible for Canada-U.S. trade, Dominic LeBlanc.
LeBlanc didn't go into details on the meeting.
He spoke many times about how much he likes it here, how much he likes Canada.
How happy he was to be in Alberta.
How beautiful he thought when he was in there.
Not that he wants to make it a 51st state. Did he mention that?
We're not going to go into the private details of the conversation.
That's not actually right.
Carney is hosting the G7 leaders in Alberta until Tuesday.
Vance Belter, the man accused of shooting two lawmakers and their spouses in Minnesota,
faces first degree murder charges.
The 57-year-old was arrested after what officials call the largest manhunt in the state's history.
Political assassinations are rare.
They strike at the very core of our democracy.
But the details of Belter's crime are even worse.
Aaron Ross Powell Acting U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson says the
suspect researched his victims and stalked them. He's accused of fatally shooting one
representative and her husband and injuring a state senator and his wife. Ottawa wants to convince
Canadians to rediscover their country and is chipping in with free admission to national parks. Olivia Stefanovich
reports. Why not? Let's enjoy Canada. Like many Canadians, Nancy Hessel didn't grow
up seeing much of the country from her home in London, Ontario. We had a large
family and yeah so camping trips were our summer holidays locally. Now she may
have the chance with the federal government launching the aptly named Canada Strong Pass.
And this summer Canadians will have a unique opportunity to celebrate and discover the very best our country has to offer.
Stephen Guilbeau is the Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture.
His announcement makes good on a liberal campaign promise, incentivizing
Canadians to staycation during the trade war with the U.S. The pass grants free admission
to all national parks, marine conservation areas, and historic sites administered by
Parks Canada. Olivier Stfanovich, CBC News, Ottawa.
