I'm Gina Louise Phillips. Donald Trump is urging Iran to surrender unconditionally. The US president says he's tired of trying to wrangle Iran back to negotiating a nuclear deal. Days of Israeli attacks on Iranian military and nuclear sites now appear to be provoking a shift in Trump's foreign policy. Sasha Petrasek reports. Even on the flight out of Canada on Air Force One, Trump was insistent.

He's looking for something more than a ceasefire in the war between Iran and Israel. He wants Iran's nuclear program stopped, maybe destroyed. U.S. military moves in the region, and Trump's social media posts point to more direct U.S. involvement. He credited American-made weapons used by Israel to clear Iran's defense systems. He threatened to kill Iran's supreme leader, not now, but maybe. And he demanded unconditional surrender from Tehran. Trump's not closing the door on talking, says State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce. Looking for diplomatic solutions to generational problems that he wants solved diplomatically.

But discussions with Trump's national security team in the White House Situation Room suggest other options are on the table. Sasha Petrusik, CBC News, Washington. Ukraine's president is calling for an emergency UN Security Council meeting. Volodymyr Zelensky is in Kananaskis, Alberta for the G7 summit. That's where Prime Minister Mark Carney announced more than $4 billion in new support for Ukraine. Murray Brewster has the story.

Kiev, bombarded by Russian missiles and drones overnight, and a worried, exhausted Ukrainian president a world away. Ukrainians had, our families had, a very difficult night, one of the biggest attacks from the very beginning of this war. Vladimir Zelensky is in Kananaskis, Alberta with G7 leaders, meeting one-on-one and collectively, pressing for more support and sanctions against Russia. He got both from Canada.

Prime Minister Mark Carney announced military aid, a reconstruction loan and more sanctions, including penalties aimed at Russia's shadow fleet. To be absolutely clear, the support will be unwavering until we get a just peace for Ukrainian people. The one meeting Zelensky was supposed to have, but won't, was with US President Donald Trump, who left the summit early. Marie Brewster, CBC News, Banff, Alberta.

So, four thugs come racing down my street, masks on. Ontario Premier Doug Ford says masked men tried to steal a vehicle from his home overnight. Ford says police thwarted the attempt. Toronto police confirm officers arrested four people, including two youth. They were charged with possessing an electronic device for car theft and unlawfully purchasing an automobile master key. A joint investigation by Canada and the UK has found genetic testing company 23andMe failed to take basic steps to protect consumer data. Hackers gained access to the company's website in 2023 using stolen account credentials. The investigation found the data of 7

million customers was stolen in the breach, including the information of 320,000 Canadians. The UK has issued a 4 million dollar fine against the company. Canada's Privacy Commissioner has no such power under federal law. The mother of a missing three-year-old Montreal girl will remain behind bars at least for now. Thirty-four-year-old Rachel Ella Todd made a brief court appearance this morning and was charged with abandoning a child. She will be in court again tomorrow.

Lili Pravagh-Ravelle is the Crown Prosecutor. For now, we don't know what happened to Madame the little girl. For now, we have the police officer still investigating. So we want to make sure that nothing more tragic is going on. Meantime, the search for Claire Bell continues today west of Montreal.
