Hey, how's it going?
Amazing. I just finished paying off all my debt with the help of the credit counseling society.
Whoa, seriously? I could really use their help.
It was easy. I called and spoke with a credit counselor right away. They asked me about my debt,
salary, and regular expenses. Gave me a few options and helped me along the way.
You had a ton of debt and you're saying credit counseling society helped with all of it?
Yep, and now I can sleep better at night.
Right on! When debt's got you, you've got us. Give credit counseling society a
call today. Visit no more debts.org.

The evacuation orders in Newfoundland expanded again today. People living in the
Burnt Point, Gull Island, Northern Bay area were added. So far, nine homes were
destroyed in the town of Small Point Adams Cove Blackhead Broadcove. Premier John
Hogan says crime stoppers is more than doubling its usual reward.
An offer of $5,000 reward will be available for information that leads to the identification and arrest of anyone who's responsible for intentionally starting a fire throughout our province.
And this person will remain anonymous, and that is guaranteed.
There is some good news. Hogan says Newfoundland and Labrador has doubled its fire suppression capability with help from Quebec, Ontario, the Coast Guard, and the armed forces.
The Premier of Nova Scotia, meanwhile, is responding to criticism.
that his government's wildfire response is going too far.
Last week, the province banned hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities in forests.
It's meant to reduce the risk of sparking new wildfires.
Many people say the ban is unreasonable, an example of government overreach.
Premier Tim Houston is pushing back.
The experts came to me and said their recommendation is that we should restrict travel
and put some serious fines on there just to really to support our firefighters and first responders.
So the experts gave the advice.
I agreed with it to make sure that we're doing everything we can to protect people, to protect property,
and try and just get through this fire season and pray for some rain.
There's a $25,000 fine for breaking the ban.
Today, New Brunswick announced similar measures.
In western Colorado, the Lee and Elk Wildfires have burned through more than 40,000 hectares.
They're far from being under control.
Around 500 firefighters have been deployed.
Bill Costangue is a Denver firefighter who has.
joined the fight. We're just dealing with times of a drought-stricken Midwest all the way out to the
West Coast. I think it's going to be a busy rest of the summer unless we start seeing a lot of
moisture coming. Colorado Governor Jared Polis has also deployed the National Guard.
In other news, the United Nations Security Council meeting on Israel's plans to take over Gaza City
has been rescheduled from this afternoon to tomorrow morning. The plan has many governments,
including Canada's and humanitarian groups, expressing fear for the survival of Gaza and civilians
and Israeli hostages.
In London.
Arrest the people complicit in the genocide.
Arrest the people that are selling arms.
365 people were arrested today
for supporting the protest group Palestine Action.
Last month, the British Parliament banned the group
under anti-terrorism laws.
Members had broken into an Air Force base
and damaged two planes.
The ban makes it a crime to be a member of the group.
It carries a maximum sentence of 14 years in prison.
Palestine action has gone to court to try to overturn the ban.
Police have identified the man behind a mass shooting at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta.
They believe debunked conspiracy theories prompted his attack.
Reporter Steve Futterman has more.
Police believe the gunman was fixated on the COVID-19 vaccine and blamed it for a number of ailments he was suffering from.
30-year-old Patrick Joseph White targeted the Centers for Disease Control, which fringe groups have falsely accused.
of being behind COVID conspiracies.
Officials immediately focused on that as the likely motive,
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens.
He is a known person that may have some interest in certain things,
but I think that in a short order, you'll know more about this individual
and about some assumptions of his motives.
Multiple guns and ammunition were recovered at the scene.
The gunman never got into the CDC itself.
He entered a drugster across the street, one to the second floor,
and opened fire from there. Steve Futterman for CBC News, Los Angeles.
And in Abbotsford, British Columbia, a 17-year-old boy has been arrested after a series of pellet or
airsoft gun attacks on pedestrians in the Fraser Valley. The victims reported being approached
by a light-colored SUV. One person suffered a minor injury in the attacks.
