Welcome to the dudes club, a brotherhood supporting men's health and wellness.
Established in the Vancouver Downtown East Side in 2010, the dudes club is a community-based
organization that focuses on indigenous men's health, many of whom are struggling with
intergenerational trauma, addiction, poverty, homelessness, and chronic diseases.
The aim is to reduce isolation and loneliness, and for the men to regain a sense of pride
and purpose in their lives.
As a global health care company, Novo Nordisk is dedicated to driving change for a healthy world.
It's what we've been doing since 1923.
It also takes the strength and determination of the communities around us,
whether it's through disease awareness, fighting stigmas and loneliness,
education, or empowering people to become more active.
Novo Nordisk is supporting local changemakers because it takes more than medicine to live a healthy life.
Leave your armor at the door.

European leaders are rallying behind Ukraine,
stressing that the path to peace cannot come
without Kiev at the negotiating table.
The statement comes ahead of a meeting
between the U.S. and Russia.
Dominic Volaitis has more from London.
Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky,
is welcoming a joint statement,
calling for Keeve to be included in talks about its territorial future.
The announcement last night came from the leaders of Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Poland,
the European Union and Finland.
In it, they welcomed US President Donald Trump's efforts to try and end the war in Ukraine.
But with Trump only planning to meet Russia's Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday,
European leaders insisted any peace talks must include Kiv
and push back on the idea it had to make territorial concession,
to Russia in exchange for peace.
The notion of some form of territorial swapping between the countries was suggested by Trump
on Friday, but swiftly rejected by President Zelensky the very next day.
According to US media reports, the White House is considering inviting Zelensky to Friday's summit,
but for now it remains a purely US-Russia affair.

Firefighters will be up against dry and windy conditions in Newfoundland and Labrador,
again today as three out-of-control wildfires continue to burn. A regional state of emergency was
issued yesterday for Bade the Verde Peninsula and evacuation orders expanded. It comes as the Canada
Games get underway in St. John's. Jessica Singer reports. Over 4,000 athletes from across the country
proudly waved the flags of their home province and territory during the opening ceremony of the
2025 Canada Games.
Athletes will participate in 19 different sports throughout the next few weeks.
The games aren't just about competition.
It's also about experiencing other places and cultures,
something Alberta athlete Sasha Pasoloski is excited for.
I really can't wait.
I actually don't really know what to expect about everybody that I've talked to
told me that it was beautiful, so I'm pretty excited.
There's a lot of excitement in the air as well as some smoke.
A series of wildfires are still burning out of control in the province.
Officials say the games will go ahead as scheduled, but they are keeping an eye on the conditions.

Heat warnings are in place for parts of B.C.'s interior and Vancouver Island as crews continue to battle the Wesley Ridge wildfire.
Some communities could see daytime highs up to 35 degrees today and Monday.
The BC Wildfire Service says the hot, dry weather could intensify wildfire activity.
Fire information officer Madison Dahl says firefighters are also up against difficult terrain.
We are well-resourced and we work very closely with our partners as we have here.
The Wesley Ridge Wildfire is burning in different types of terrain.
Some parts are inaccessible for heavy equipment.
That's where we utilize ground crews and we depend on helicopter access.
Hundreds of people have been out of their homes for over a week due to the blaze.
And many parts of Ontario and Quebec are going into a second day of heat warnings.
Environment Canada says some communities are expected to see daytime highs at about 30 degrees with the humid X,
making it feel closer to 40.
Sweltering conditions are expected to be in place until at least Tuesday.
Meanwhile, in the prairies, most of Saskatchewan remains under an air quality warning due to wildfire smoke.
Major League Baseball reached a milestone this weekend.
I'm just having it as a dream for 10 years.
You know, the dream came true today, and it's just been incredible.
That's Jen Powell, who yesterday became the first female to umpire a regular season game in the 122 year history of MLB.
Powell worked first and second base during a double header between Florida and Atlanta
and is expected to be behind home plate for today's game.
And that is your world this hour.
