They have no intention of returning to work. Wesley Lysoski, president of the Air Canada component of Kupi, which represents more than 10,000 flight attendants, said members will defy an order that would have meant reporting to work

So it's necessary to ceasefire and work quickly on a final deal. Putin does not want to stop the killing, but he must do it. The leaders of the UK, Germany, Italy, Finland and the EU will accompany Zelensky to Washington. In Toronto, an eight-year-boy is dead after he shot by a stray bullet that came through his apartment window. J. V. Roy and his mother were in bed in their home at the time. He says that visitors have been making the most of what the city has to offer. Stephanie Forteigh is seeing that first hand. She's the director of commercial operations and the Canadian War Museum. She sees a difference with the Strong Pass in play. We noticed an increase of 16% compared to July 2024. The Pass offers incentives for Canadians to travel within the country.
Starting point is 00:04:03 It's a response to the tariffs U.S. President Donald Trump imposed earlier this year. The Canada Strong Pass is set to end September 2nd. It's uncertain whether it will return next summer. Josean Cherat-Biamanyi, CBC News, Ottawa. Hurricane Aaron has weakened to a category three hurricane. as it continues to lash out towards the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico with heavy rains and winds. Also, Bermuda could face the same conditions as Aaron turns to the north and then the northeast. Aaron is not expected to make landfall on the U.S. East Coast.
