following what they call an active shooter situation police say the threat has been contained to
residents in the 500 block of crescent road northwest in the crescent heights neighborhood
they're asking local residents to stay inside and lock their doors police are also advising them
to go into a below ground level floor of their home if possible residents who cannot actually
their homes are being advised to go to the Crescent Heights High School.
In Minneapolis, police investigating the suspect in Wednesday's shooting,
say she had a dark obsession with killing children and a fascination with mass shooters.

At a church vigil of stories of kids saving kids.
They put their lives on the line to help the little ones.
As Minneapolis mourns, local police chief Brian O'Hara says what
they've found is all too common in America. This is an individual that harbored a whole lot of hate
and clearly intended to commit an act of violence for the purpose of their own personal notoriety.
23-year-old Robin Westman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. O'Hara says Westman was a
parishioner at the church and former student of the school, but her motive still unknown.
We're trying to see if there was some sort of triggering event.
Police say the attacker shot through the church window but couldn't get inside because the doors were locked in case of an incident like this.
All three guns used purchased legally in the state.

In Ukraine's capital, at least 21 people have died in Russian airstrikes on Kiev early Thursday.
It involved nearly 600 drones and more than 30 missiles.
As Breyer Stewart reports, the attack on civilians is now being condemned internationally.
In an area near the city center, missiles and drones damaged several buildings.

The family of a teenager who killed himself is suing the company behind ChatGBTGPT.
This comes, as OpenAI says, changes will be made to safeguards for vulnerable people.
Adam Raine died early this year, and his family claims ChatGPT coached him on methods of self-harm.

He was using it in ways that I had no idea was possible.
Adam Raine was 16 when he turned to Chat GPT for help with his schoolwork.
But his reliance on the platform quickly grew more intense.
and disturbing. In an interview with NBC News, his father, Matthew Rayne, says the extent of those
interactions only became clear after his son took his own life earlier this year.
I don't think most parents know the capability of this tool.
Rain's parents have launched a lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman, alleging the
company's AI chatbot, chat GPT, provided detailed suicide instructions to a minor.
Metali Jane, with the Tech Justice Law Project in Atlanta, Georgia, is one of the
family's lawyers. Adam was using chat GPT in a way that can only be described as a suicide
