This time is for Fort Providence. Fierce winds are pushing a wildfire towards the hamlet and could reach the outskirts tonight. The CBC's Juanita Taylor is tracking the flames. Fort Providence is the latest community that's been issued an evacuation order. That came through just before 9 a.m. local time. Fire officials are calling the situation critical.

Those northerly winds, they are expected again into the evening, pushing the fire closer to Fort Providence. And fire officials are saying that there's a very good chance that the fire will reach Fort Providence tonight.
