The total effective sentence is life imprisonment, and I fix a non-parole period of 33 years. Justice Christopher Beale says Aaron Patterson had shown no remorse for killing her estranged husband's parents and an aunt. Ian Wilkinson narrowly survived the fatal lunch at the killer's home.
