An Australian woman who murdered three relatives after serving them a meal laced with deadly mushrooms
has been sentenced to at least 33 years in prison.
Aaron Patterson was convicted in July on three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
Phil Mercer has more on the case that riveted Australia.
The total effective sentence is life imprisonment, and I fix a non-parole period of 33 years.

Patterson is expected to serve her sentence in solitary confinement in a high security unit for
her own protection. Phil Mercer for CBC News.
