Too many students are packed into overcrowded classrooms in Ontario schools,
and it's hurting their ability to learn.
But instead of helping our kids, the Ford government is playing politics,
taking over school boards and silencing local voices.
It shouldn't be this way.
Tell the Ford government to get serious about tackling overcrowded classrooms
because smaller classes would make a big difference for our kids.

of global affairs she says having both sides agreed to different parts of the deal
is a big step forward.
Trump is asking Israel to stop firing immediately,
and Amas has agreed to release the hostages.
Those are critical first steps.
They have not agreed to disarm until there is a full withdrawal.
That is correct.
That's down the road.
But what they've agreed on is significant.
Israel says it is getting ready to implement the first part of the Trump plan,
the release of hostages held by Hamas.

for another face-to-face meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. Carney's office says they're
going to try and reach a deal on tariffs and security, a deal that has proven elusive. Tom Perry has more.
Thank you very much, everybody. It's a great honor to have Prime Minister Mark Carney with us as you.
Donald Trump welcomed Mark Carney into the Oval Office back in May,
and while the U.S. president has made life miserable for some world leaders
who've sat in front of the cameras with him, he and the Prime Minister appeared to get along.
Trump and Carney have been in regular contact ever since,
but have not reached a deal to lift or reduce U.S. tariffs on Canadian steel, aluminum, autos, and lumber.
Conservative leader Pierre Pauliev says Carney has let Canadians down.
Mr. Carney has had defeat after defeat since he has.
became prime minister. He's made concession after concession. Despite their obvious differences,
Pauliev says he hopes Carney can get a win on tariffs when he goes to Washington. The prime
minister will be hoping for the same thing, though with Donald Trump, there are never any guarantees.
Tom Perry, CBC News, Ottawa. A fresh wave of drones is holding up air traffic in Munich's Saturday morning.
They were seen near the airport, forcing officials to delay the start of flight operations.
Munich's airport was first plagued Thursday night by unconfirmed drone sightings.

with some authorities suspecting Russia and Moscow denying any part in it.
Canada Post has taken lifetime employment guarantees off the table
in its latest offer to striking postal workers.
Like previous offers, it proposes a salary increase of more than 13% over four years.
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers calls that,
insulting. Here's Cup W negotiator, Jim Galant.
Instead of coming closer, the government has interfered and said that they're going to cut
service. And we voted no. The minister ordered a vote back in May, and members
heavily voted against it. And this is the punishment that we receive from this government.
This is union busting 101. We need to put a stop to this stuff.
Workers walked last week after the federal government announced major operational changes,
including ending door-to-door delivery and shuttering some rural.
Post offices. Marine Land is asking Ottawa for emergency funding to feed and care for its whales,
saying that otherwise the animals will be euthanized. Earlier this week, Ottawa denied the theme
parks request to export 30 whales to an aquarium in China. Marine Land says it's running out of money
and has no other option to house them. That is your world this hour. For CBC News, I'm Mike Miles.
Thank you.
