Too many students are packed into overcrowded classrooms in Ontario schools,
and it's hurting their ability to learn.

taking over school boards and silencing local voices.
It shouldn't be this way.
Tell the Ford government to get serious about tackling overcrowded classrooms
because smaller classes would make a big difference for our kids.

University of British Columbia researchers have found a way to potentially make organ donation more accessible.
Right now, blood type is one of the biggest barriers in kidney transplantation,
but in the first human test conducted at UBC,
researchers treated a kidney with enzymes that removed those blood type markers.
Professor Emeritus Stephen Withers co-led the enzyme development.
It should increase the chances of a match, which will also increase the usage of organs,
because there are many donated organs that never get used because they don't find a suitable match.
Withers adds this could also save money for the health care system
by potentially reducing the number of people on dialysis therapy.
