There is cautious optimism that talks on the Trump administration's Mid-East peace plan
will result in the release of all hostages and an end to fighting in Gaza.
But there are still key details to work out.
Mediators representing Israel and Hamas convene in Egypt for talks this week.
Dominic Volitis has the latest.

British police are gaining new powers to stop protests from happening more than once in the same place.
Yesterday, officers arrested almost 500 people during demonstrations in support of Palestine action,
an activist group currently banned in the UK.
Shabanaf Mahmoud is the Home Secretary.
It's important, I think, that we make this change so that the right balance can be struck
between allowing people the freedom to protest, which is an ancient freedom in this country,
but balancing that against the rights of the wider community to be able to go about their business,
free from intimidation and fear.
Mahmoud says she's very worried about what she calls community relations in the UK.
Her announcement comes on the heels of a deadly attack Thursday on a Manchester synagogue
and an arson attack on a mosque in Sussex overnight.
Police are investigating that as a possible hate crime.
No one was injured in that incident.
One of the ostriches at the center of a Canadian court battle has died.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency took control of a farm in Edgewood, BC,
while this case is heard, it says the bird died of a pre-existing condition,
despite giving it medication and electrolytes.
The farm's owners are fighting in order to cull the birds after an outbreak of avian flu there.
They're accusing the agency of failing to provide treatment.
In Alberta, rallies in support of public school teachers have been planned in eight cities.
Organizers say it's an opportunity for parents and students to have their say ahead of a possible teacher strike.
If there's no last-minute contract agreement,
51,000 teachers are expected to walk off the job tomorrow.
And the Toronto Blue Jays are back in action this afternoon
after a blowout game against the New York Yankees yesterday.

which gets underway in just about an hour.
The Blue Jays find themselves in the driver's seat,
heading into game two of their American League Division series
with the New York Yankees.
The Blue Jays are coming off a dominant 10-1 drubbing of their.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. led the way for the Blue Jays, going three for four at the plate
with a homer and two RBIs.

Alejandro Kirk had a pair of homers in game one for the Jays, and on the other side of the
ball, they got a stellar performance from starting pitcher Kevin Gosman, who lasted five
and two-third innings, allowing just one earned run on four hits.
22-year-old Trey I Savage will get the start in-game two for the Blue Jays.
He has only started three games in the major leagues after spending most of the season in the minors.
He'll face the Yankees ace Max Fried, who led the league in wins this year with 19.
