Donald Trump says he believes Hamas will release all Israeli hostages by Monday or Tuesday.
Overnight, Israel and Hamas reached an agreement to implement the first phase of the U.S. president's Gaza peace plan.
Trump says he himself intends to travel to the Middle East very soon.
Willie Lowry has the latest.

U.S. President Donald Trump confident the Israeli hostages will come home
and the war in Gaza will end.
The U.S. leader helped to broker the deal
that will see 20 living hostages returned
as well as the bodies of 28 more.
And Israel will retreat to an agreed-upon line
still holding 53% of the enclave
but cease its military campaign.
Trump praised countries in the region
for coming together as mediators.
Egypt and Turkey for helping us reach this incredible day.
Trump said upcoming phases of the peace plan still to be ironed out
would see the reconstruction of Gaza and hopefully the money of many nations to back it.
He plans to travel to the region very soon,
to take part in an official signing and to welcome the hostages back to Israel.

Hamas's Gaza chief says the group has,
received guarantees from U.S. and Arab mediators that the war is over. We are also awaiting
official confirmation from Israel. The country's security cabinet has just concluded a meeting
that's expected to approve the ceasefire agreement. A measles outbreak in Ontario that started
about a year ago has been declared officially over. Public Health Ontario says the last person
connected to the outbreak was diagnosed with measles on August 21st and no one knew has contracted
the virus since.
almost 2,400 people were infected.
One newborn baby died after catching the virus from its mother.
The report does caution that measles is still circulating elsewhere in Canada.
Quebec's ruling parties taking another step to define Quebec as a distinct nation.
Premier Francois Legault has tabled a bill to create a constitution for the province.
Sarah Levitt reports.

It's meant to protect Quebec's identity,
rights and culture.
All parties agree a constitution is needed,
but those in the opposition say
the leading party is trying to force their version through too quickly.
Pablo Rodriguez is the leader of the Quebec Liberals.
We should have in our hands a document that went through through consultations
that included different segments of society, including First Nations, discussions with different parties.
The Parti Quebecois says this constitution is meaningless as long as Quebec is a part of Canada.

14 rural properties near Camloops BC remain under an evacuation alert,
ready to leave at a moment's notice, as a dam on a nearby lake threatens to fail.
mail. Investigators went in and discovered that some culverts on the dam are blocked, causing
water levels on the lake to rise. Colton Davies, with the Thompson-Nicola Regional District,
says they are working on a solution. The most likely scenario in some form is to lower the lake
level in some capacity in a safe wave at a controlled rate in that wave. The province says this
dam was not authorized and is made out of gravel. And a Hungarian novelist has won this year's
Nobel Prize for Literature. Laszlo Krasna Horcai, for his compelling and visionary over,
that in the midst of apocalyptic terror reaffirms the power of art.
That's the Nobel Committee honoring Laslo Krasna Horkaya. The 71-year-old writer is known for
his postmodern style and for exploring dystopian themes. The Nobel Peace Prize will be
