Starting point is 00:01:12 brokered by the U.S., Qatar, and Egypt was made public last night after the Israeli government ratified it. We were at a momentous development in the last two years. We fought doing these two years to achieve our warings. Tax to the peace plan says Israeli forces are to pull back to agreed lines and not return as long as Hamas adheres to the agreement. And Israeli spokesperson says the IDF will still control 53% of the Gaza Strip. A multinational force, including military personnel from Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, and the U.S. will oversee the plan.

And now that a peace deal has been reached in Gaza, some Israelis and Palestinians agree he deserves it. But with the agreement coming months after the deadline for this year's nomination, here's who the Nobel Committee honored. The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025 to Maria Corina Machado. the leader of the democratic forces in Venezuela. The Venezuelan opposition leader is known as the Iron Lady. The Nobel Committee says she deserves the prize for her tireless work promoting democratic rights and her efforts to achieve a just transition from dictatorship to democracy. The Postal Workers Union says it's moving from a nationwide walkout to rotating strikes

Canadian Union of Postal Workers National President Jan Simpson says the move to rotating strikes will get mail and parcels in the hands of Canadians. Canada Post now has 45 days to respond with a plan to implement government directives, including ending door-to-door delivery and closing some rural post offices. A fifth estate is investigation into a massive data breach involving thousands of health care workers in BC has revealed senior officers at the agency had been warned for years about that breach, but failed to protect their workers.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Now, there are growing calls on the BC government to launch an investigation into the breach. Fifth Estate co-host Mark Kelly has more. She was the victim of identity theft. Ashley Stone drives through her Kelowna neighborhood, revealing the scope of a data breach that's left a trail of victims, like her. She's so many of us. Stone's personal information was used to take out credit cards in her name back in 2014. She warned her employer, BC's Interior Health Authority,
Starting point is 00:03:47 about a possible data breach. but was met with denials. Interior Health says there is no evidence of a mass breach, no evidence their personal information is for sale on the dark web. The identity thefts continue to this day. Anne Kovukian, former Ontario Privacy Commissioner, says the BC government needs to launch an investigation. This is why you have to go to the Minister of Health and the Premier.
Starting point is 00:04:09 We have to discontinue covering up. We contacted the BC Minister of Health, Josie Osborne, who refused to comment on the breach, citing an ongoing RCMPE investigation. Mark Kelly, CBC News, Colonna. Drake's lawsuit against his own label, Universal Music Group, has been thrown out. A federal judge decided the lyrics of a Kendrick Lamar disc track or opinion, not liable, backing the music company's argument.
