Too many students are packed into overcrowded classrooms in Ontario schools,
and it's hurting their ability to learn.
But instead of helping our kids, the Ford government is playing politics,
taking over school boards and silencing local voices.
It shouldn't be this way.

They will discuss how to make this fragile peace last.

China's ambassador to Canada has some advice for Ottawa
on what it will take to get Beijing
to remove tariffs on Canadian agricultural products like canola.
Wang Di spoke through a translator on CTV's question period.
If the EV tariffs are removed, then China will also remove the tariffs
on the relevant products of Canada.
The Trudeau government put 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs last October
following the U.S. decision to do the same.
In response, China levied a number of tariffs on Canadian agricultural goods,
including 100% tariffs on canola oil and canola meal.
Manitoba Premier Wab Canoe is calling on the Prime Minister to lift the EV tariff,
saying that every day it remains, it hurts prairie producers.
Three Newfoundlanders detained as they tried to get aid supplies to Gaza by boat have now been released.
Devaney Ellis, Sadie Meese, and Nikita Stapleton were deported to Jordan,
Vicki Axford, Sadie Me's aunt, describes how she's feeling.
Overwhelming relief that Sadie and Nikita and Dev have been released from, you know, a desert prison and that they're safe and they're on their way home.
Axford says the trio have reached out to their families.
