Israel has received the bodies of two more dead hostages.
The Palestinian militant group Hamas says those are the last of the bodies it can easily
retrieve and says the remainder will require special equipment to access.
About 20 bodies remain in Gaza, and there's growing concern the delay could restart a war that's only just
ended. Tom Perry reports. Hamas pledged to return the remains of 28 hostages as part of its ceasefire
deal with Israel, but as so far failed to do so. The group says the widespread devastation in Gaza
makes finding individual bodies difficult. But Israeli government spokesperson Shos Badozian berated
Hamas for putting hostage families through more pain. Hamas, the terror organization, is required to
uphold its commitments to the mediators and return all of our hostage.
as part of the implementation of this agreement.
Israel has begun returning the bodies of Palestinians killed in the fighting to health officials
in Gaza. But it's also putting pressure on Hamas by refusing so far to open the Rafa crossing
between Egypt and Gaza and allow more humanitarian aid into the territory. Tom Perry, CBC News,
Cairo. A Canadian man in Scotland has been sentenced to at least 25 years in prison for killing his

41-year-old Aaron Pearson and 24-year-old Claire Leveck traveled from Alberta to Scotland two

Auto industry leaders are slamming Stalantis.
The automaker announced it will be shifting Jeep production that was slated for a Brampton
Ontario factory to a plant in the U.S.
It's part of a plant to grow its American operation.
Thomas Dagla has reaction from this country.
Very disrespectful and disgusting behavior by the company.
In Brampton, Ontario, Stalantus workers learned the news through an automated phone message.
The auto giant is backtracking on plans to build a Jeep crossover SUV at its plant near Toronto,
instead shifting production to Illinois.
Union President Vito Beato is just as incensed as the Brampton workers he represents.
Well, they don't deserve this. For over 40 years, we've been building cars in this plant,
providing big, big profits for the company.
Stalantis temporarily shut down the plant last year, laying off all 3,000 people working there.
The closure was meant to allow the company to retool the facility.
This past February, though, Stalantis paused those plans amid the threat of tariffs from the White House.
Stalantis insists it's committed to Canada and investing here,
But the company is hardly denying its feeling pressure from Trump.

Dozens of villages in Alaska are in recovery mode
after major flooding devastated their communities last weekend.
Officials say one person died.
Two remain missing in the hardest hit areas.
Juanita Taylor reports.
Emergency crews are assessing the damage from major flooding in western Alaska.
49 remote communities were in an unexpected path
from the remnants of Typhoon Halong Sunday night.
Flood waters rose about six feet, lifting homes from their foundations and sweeping them away with residents inside.
Many climbed to their rooftops waiting to get rescued by helicopter.
Tristan Karo lives in Kipak, an Inupiat village of about 600 people.
He watched his uncle's house float by.
I told him that they'll only be safe as long as they stay inside the house.
They were yelling and screaming inside and I was in shock.
Another hard-hit village, Quiglingok, is where one woman died and two months.
are missing. Alaska state troopers have now called off the search. People left without shelter
are getting evacuated to Bethel, Alaska. Winnita Taylor, CBC News, Yellowknife. The Toronto Blue Jays
