from cbc news the world is sour i'm neil kumar the world series is now tied at one game each after the
tronto blue jays lost to the los angeles dodgers in game two by a score of five one great ross reports
from rogers center for the better part of seven innings in game two fans at the rogers center got to see a real
old-fashioned pitcher's duel yosha yamamoto of the dodgers going toe to toe with the blue jays kevin gosman
The difference in this game, Yamamoto, had the hotter hand.
In fact, for the second straight game in this postseason, Yamamoto pitched a complete game.
He gave up just four hits and one earned run in game two.
Kevin Gosman, on the other hand, allowed a run in the top of the first,
but settled down retiring 17 straight Dodger batters until the top of the seventh inning.
That's when the Dodgers got to him with two solo home runs before he was pulled out of the game.
In the end, the Dodgers would beat the Blue Jays by a final of five to one to even this series at one game apiece.
Things now shift to Los Angeles for game three on Monday night.

U.S. President Donald Trump says he's raising tariffs on Canada by an additional 10% on top of current levels.
Trump made the announcement in a post on social media.
It comes after the Ontario government aired an anti-tariff ad on U.S. television,
which features former president Ronald Reagan.
Chris Reyes has more.
President Trump has been livid since Friday
when the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation
came out with a statement saying that this ad misrepresents
that speech that Ontario did not ask for permission
to use it and that they're considering legal action.
Since that foundation put out that statement,
Trump has been going off on social media
about this. And presumably he did it while he was on Air Force One. And let me just read to you
what it says in part. Canada was caught red-handed, putting up a fraudulent advertisement on
Ronald Reagan's speech on tariffs. The sole purpose of this was fraud. He unleashed a barrage of
accusations that he also posted about that Canada is doing this to influence the Supreme
Court, which is currently considering challenges to Trump's tariffs. Chris Reyes,
CBC News, New York.
Meantime, U.S. President Donald Trump has overseen a peace deal between Thailand and Cambodia,
as both countries have had a longstanding border dispute.
Trade pressure from Trump led to a ceasefire in late July,
which ended five days of clashes that killed over two dozen people.
Trump is in Malaysia, where he will attend the summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN.
The province of Alberta could be bracing itself for another strike.
Some members of the Alberta Union of provincial employees will hold a strike vote from October.
October 30th to November 3rd.
This time it involves nursing care workers with Alberta health services.
Bargaining began in March of last year.
The two sides have yet to reach a deal.
Union Vice President Bonnie Gostola says a strike vote could move things forward.
Bring the employer back to the table and come back with actual, actually being prepared
to bargain with us and address our top priorities at that table, as was actually asked for by the mediator.
In a statement to the CBC, the office of the press secretary to the finance minister says it won't comment on active negotiations out of respect for the bargaining process.
If the AUPE members do vote in support of strike action, they have 120 days to serve notice.
Hurricane Melissa has strengthened into a major Category 3 hurricane.
It has been unleashing torrential rain and threatening to cause catastrophic flooding in the northern Caribbean, including Haiti and Jamaica.
Melissa became a hurricane on Saturday and then intensified rapidly into a major storm.
U.S. forecasters have issued a hurricane warning for Jamaica and say Melissa could further strengthen into a category four storm.
And that is your rule this hour.
