Prime Minister Mark Carney is at the APEC summit in South Korea today.
U.S. President Donald Trump is also there, but it doesn't appear the two leaders will sit down for a meeting with each other.
In a post on his truth social site last night, Trump said,
for those that are asking, we didn't come to South Korea to see Kansas.
Canada. Tension between Canada and the U.S. is high after Trump said he was putting trade talks on hold
because of an anti-tariff commercial produced by the Ontario government, which aired in the U.S.
A Toronto mother says things took an unpredictable turn when her 12-year-old son asked Tesla's AI chatbot
a question about soccer. She says the conversation suddenly turns sexual. Now she's warning other parents.
Ethel Moussa reports.
Farah Nasser says she was driving her children home from school when her 12-year-old son asked Tesla's
AI chatbot which soccer player it preferred, Cristiano Ronaldo or Leonel Messi.
My son was very excited to hear.
Ronaldo was the better soccer player.
And then the chatbot said to my son, why don't she send me some nudes?
Nasser's family has owned a Tesla Model 3 electric sedan since 2022.
But Grok, the AI chatbot, is a new feature.
that was automatically installed in some Canadian vehicles in October.
Mark Daly is the chief AI officer at Western University.
He says Elon Musk, who heads Tesla, is a free speech extremist.
He wants GROC to be completely open to have any conversation with anyone.
Tesla did not provide a comment.
However, XAI provided what appeared to be an automated reply,
simply stating legacy media lies.
It'll move to CBS News.
News Toronto. Drones have become a major problem for Canadian prisons. Smugglers use them to deliver
weapons, drugs, and other contraband to inmates. Now police and correctional staff in Kingston, Ontario,
have formed a team to fight back. Dan Takama reports. A basketball stuffed with tobacco and cell phones,
bundles of knives and drugs camouflaged with fake grass. Just some of the contraband drone pilots have
tried to smuggle behind bars in Kingston.
Rival gangs trying to control who can fly into prisons.
Sergeant Jonas Bonham is head of the local police intelligence unit,
which has teamed up with correction staff to tackle drone smuggling.
The task force is the first of its kind in Canada.
Kingston is a prison town, so it just made sense for us to join forces.
Correctional Service Canada says there were more than a thousand reports of drone activity
at prisons across the country last year.
It's big business, as even idols.
like pot or tobacco legal on the street are worth 10 to 25 times more inside.
Investigators say they've managed to cut the number of local drone drops in half.
They're hoping other Canadian law enforcement agencies can consider assembling a drone task force of their own.

The Toronto Blue Jays beat the L.A. Dodgers last night in game four of the World Series.
Final score, 6-2.
Jamie Strasson reports.
In the air to left field, but straw is there and the Blue Jays win it.
A night after losing the second longest game in World Series history,
the Toronto Blue Jays did what they've done all season when all seemed lost,
bounced back by beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-2 Tuesday night at Dodgers Stadium,
evening up the World Series at two games apiece.
The Jays had a daunting task on their hand, Japanese superstar Shohei Otani,
who has absolutely dominated this series as a hitter was the starting pitcher for the Dodgers,
but it was Blue Jay superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr. who made his mark early in this game,
hitting a two-run home run to give the Jays the lead.
Toronto never looked back.
The win sets up a pivotal game 5 Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
It also guarantees Blue Jay fans will see their team at home again this year.
Game 6 in this best of seven series goes Friday night in Toronto.
So, Jamie Strachan, CBC News, Los Angeles.
And that is your world this hour.
