This ascent isn't for everyone.
You need grit to climb this high this often.
You've got to be an underdog that always over-delivers.
You've got to be 6,500 hospital staff, 1,000 doctors,
all doing so much with so little.
You've got to be Scarborough.
Defined by our uphill battle and always striving towards new heights.
And you can help us keep climbing.

It's hard, you know.
I had my first team meeting of the year after the game.
There are so many things that unpacked there, not just the series as a whole.
You know, seven games, two of them go to extras.
I thought we played great baseball.

that left two people fighting for their lives.
Eight others were injured.

Julia Chapman reports from London.
As the horror unfolded, some passengers thought they were witnessing a Halloween prank.
A guy suddenly run past going, run, run.
There's a guy studying literally everyone at everything.
Ollie Foster was on board and says he quickly realized something serious was happening.
There's three people severely bleeding.
And one guy is holding his stomach and there's blood coming down to stomach.
on his leg and he's just going to help, help of being stabbed.
The train was travelling to London from Northern England.
About 100 kilometres north of the capital,
two men reportedly went on a stabbing rampage.
Superintendent John Lovelace says police are still working to establish a motive.
This stage, there is nothing to suggest that this is a terrorist incident.
Some passengers who were on the train describe officers using a taser
to stop one man wielding a knife.
Prime Minister Kier-Starmer says the stabbing
were appalling and deeply concerning.

People in Jamaica are still reeling from Hurricane Melissa.
I wish I could explain the pain.
The pain, I don't know.
Your stomach just burst.
It's just too much.
This woman fights back tears as she describes losing her home and belongings
in Tuesday's storm that left a trail of destruction
throughout the Caribbean region and at least 28 people dead.
After a nine-day trip to Asia, Mark Carney faces his biggest test as Prime Minister this week.
His government tables its first budget on Tuesday.
And with minority parliament, finding support from other parties may be difficult.
The CBC's chief political correspondent, Rosemary Barton, has more.
The Prime Minister made it clear yesterday before heading home from that trip to Asia that he is prepared to fight an election on this budget if needed.
He also said that he believes this is the right budget for the country right now in a critical moment.
But the budget is also going to be one with a very large deficit, anywhere between $70 to $100 billion, and cuts to the public service.
So that's where Prime Minister Carney is going to run into some trouble, perhaps, because at this point, it's really unclear where he's going to find the support to pass the budget.
Conservative leader Pierre Puehliev won't say whether his government will support the budget.
He's called on the Prime Minister to do certain things like scrap the industrial carbon tax.
And here's a little more of what he told me.
I don't have telepathic powers to tell you what's in it.
if it were to bring down the cost of living,
an affordable budget for an affordable living is something that I support.
It does sound, though, John, that because he has criticized Mark Carney
and the government's approach, it would be very unlikely for them to be able to support it.
Rosemary Barton, CBC News, Ottawa.
And that is your world this hour.
