Kids these days, people say we have so much more.
Smartphones, video games, treats, and busy schedules.
But more isn't always better.
Because kids these days, we also have more health challenges than ever before.
More mental health issues.
More need for life-saving surgeries.
And more complex needs.
Chio has a plan to transform pediatric care for kids like me.

From CBC News, the world this hour.
I'm Kate McGilfrey.
Conservative leader Pierre Pollyev held his first news conference since he lost two of his MPs.
Last week, one of his MPs announced his resignation, another cross the floor, to join the liberals.
As David Thurton reports, Pollyev was attempting to change the channel.
My plan is to continue to lead to be the only leader in the country that's fighting for an affordable Canada,
where our people who work hard can afford a home and food.
That is my agenda.
Conservative leader, Pierre Paulyev, seemingly on the defensive, as his caucus shrinks.
Alberta MP, Matt Jenneru, announced he is resigning.
Nova Scotia MP, Chris Dantramar, crossed the floor to join the Liberals.
Pauliab, during the news conference,
last out at reporters for focusing on the departures rather than the liberal government's costly budget.
Polyev also attempted to use Don Tramon's former words against him.
Mr. Don Tramaw said that liberal food price inflation is inhumane.
Do you believe that he was telling the truth when he said that?
A reporter asked Pollyette if more of his MPs would be leaving the caucus.
Pauliyev said no.
David Thurton, CBC News, Ottawa.
Ontario's Court of Appeal has ruled that legal online gaming and sports betting would remain lawful,
even if users outside of Canada are permitted to participate.
The decision opens the door to an expansion of online gambling in Ontario,
despite concerns from other Canadian jurisdictions.
The White House is dismissing emails released today,
which further link the U.S. President to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The emails released by Congress Democrats mentioned Donald Trump by name several times.
Katie Nicholson has more from Washington.
It just shows how this is truly a manufactured hoax by the Democrat Party.
The White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt on the defense.
After House Democrats released three emails from,
sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's estate mentioning Donald Trump. One says Trump spent time with an
alleged victim. In another, Epstein says Trump, quote, knew about the girls. When that email was sent
in 2019, Epstein had been facing federal charges of sex trafficking minors. These emails prove
absolutely nothing other than the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong. This comes as House
Democrats and four Republicans are expected to push for legislation to release the DOJ.
J-Zepstein files. Among them, Democratic Texas representative, Jasmine Crockett.
If you know that you are free and clear, then why not say, you know what, release the files?
An issue that didn't fade away during the House's 54-day recess.
Katie Nicholson, CBC News, Washington.
Police in Ontario's York region have arrested a suspect in connection with a high-profile homicide.
Forty-year-old Alim Faruqi was shot and killed during a home invasion in Vaughn in August.
Friends and politicians said it happened in front of his children.
Other suspects are still on the run.
York Regional Police Chief Jim McSween says one of them is 16 years old.
We're seeing the perpetrators become increasingly younger,
while the severity of these crimes continue to escalate.
We need changes that prevent violent offenders from returning to the streets only to re-offend again.
McSween says the 26-year-old suspect who was arrested,
was on four different forms of early release.
And it turns out the Pope has a soft spot for musicals
and for Jimmy Stewart.
Ahead of a meeting with a number of Hollywood actors this weekend,
Pope Leo shared his top movies.
My four favorite films,
It's a wonderful life with Jimmy Stewart from 1946,
The Sound of Music with Julie Andrews.
Ordinary People, the year was 1980,
the stars were Donald Sutherland and Mary Tyler Moore.
La Vite Bella, 1997, Roberto Benigni.
The Pope will meet with actors and directors like Kate Blanchett, Chris Pine, and Spike Lee.
The goal is to, quote, deepen dialogue between the Vatican and the world of cinema.
And that is your world this hour.
