This ascent isn't for everyone.
You need grit to climb this high this often.
You've got to be an underdog that always over-delivers.
You've got to be 6,500 hospital staff, 1,000 doctors,
all doing so much with so little.
You've got to be Scarborough.
Defined by our uphill battle and always striving towards new heights.
And you can help us keep climbing.

The battle over the federal budget will be decided on Monday.
That's when it will be put to a vote in the House of Commons.
And with only a minority government, the liberals will need some help from the opposition.
As Philip Lee-Shanac reports, if the budget fails, Canadians could face another election.
And I don't think I was elected to fail to show up.
Green Party leader Elizabeth May says she won't be abstaining from Monday.
budget vote, but that vote is still up for grabs. I'm still talking to ministers and representatives
from the prime minister's office and others, because right now I'm a no. She says the climate
protection measures in the budget are just not enough. We have all of our votes that will be
present in the House of Commons, but the reality of the situation is, is that this is a minority
parliament. Liberal Party whip MP Mark Gerritsen says whether the budget will pass or not is up in the
air. If it falls, so does the government. We also don't think that
Canadians want a Christmas election, but we will certainly be prepared. We are always ready to go.
It may come down to the votes of seven NDP MPs who could vote for it or abstain.
NDP leader Don Davies says discussions with the federal liberals continue this weekend.

President Donald Trump says the U.S. may be having some discussions with Venezuelan President Maduro.
This would potentially be a diplomatic move shortly after the U.S. military's
largest aircraft carrier arrived in the Caribbean.
Cody Weddell has more from Bogota.
And us people.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro singing John Lennon's peace anthem imagine at a political rally.
A not-so-s subtle message directed at U.S. President Donald Trump and the American people.
On Tuesday, the USS Gerald Ford, the U.S. Navy's most advanced warship, arrived in the region.
With it, 15,000 sailors and Marines are now stationed in the Caribbean.
But I have it at 80-20 that some kind of action will take place.
James Story served as the ambassador for Venezuela during the first Trump administration.
I think the policy is regime change.
I don't think this is a policy of counter-narcotics.
Certainly these are resources that are entirely too powerful.
The Trump administration has framed its campaign as a counter-narcotics operation
and destroyed 22 boats that were allegedly.
carrying drugs. We made a lot of progress with Venezuela. Cody Weddle for CBC News, Bogota.
As much as U.S. President Donald Trump wants the Epstein scandal to go away, it's not. This week,
the House of Representatives will vote on a bill to release all files from the Department of Justice
on the sex trafficker. But as Katie Simpson tells us, Trump is doing all he can to stop that from
happening. I don't care about it, released or not. Trump was named hundreds of times in emails from
Epstein's estate, recently released by Congress.
renewing calls for transparency. Trump has since ordered his attorney general to investigate links between
Epstein and Democrats, a probe specifically targeting his political opponents. Republican Congressman Thomas Massey
fears Trump is only doing this to stop the release of any new information.
If they have ongoing investigations in certain areas, those documents can't be released. So this might be
a last-ditch effort to prevent the release of the Epstein files.
Lawmakers in the House of Representatives will hold a vote Tuesday on a bill that compels authorities to release everything they have on Epstein.
The bill is expected to pass in the House but will likely stall in the Senate, meaning it won't go anywhere.
Katie Simpson, CBC News, Washington.
And that is the world this hour.
For CBC News, I'm Neil Kumar.
Thank you.
