Starting point is 00:00:45 and trigger an early election. Conservative leader Pierre Poliov says his party can't prop up a document that piles on more debt. 100% of our MPs oppose the costly Carney credit card budget that is going to drive up the cost of food, housing, and living for Canadians.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Sources tell CBC News the party doesn't want an election right now. New Democrats are considering a similar strategy. In the end, it could come down to a single vote, that of Green Party leader Elizabeth May. I'm still talking to ministers and representatives from the Prime Minister's office and others to see what could we do to affect my vote, because right now I'm a no. While the consensus on Parliament Hill is that the government should be able to narrowly survive this budget vote, anything can happen. Don't forget about 1979. Joe Clark's progressive conservative government miscalculated.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Opposition MPs toppled that year's budget. An election was called and Clark lost. Carney doesn't want that to be his fate this time around. J.P. Tasker, CBC News, Ottawa. U.S. President Trump has laid an attack on one of his closest Republican allies, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green. Green says she'd become a target as she wants the Epsine files to be released. Meantime, Trump is calling on Republicans to support this week's expected vote on releasing the files. Katie Simpson has more.
Starting point is 00:02:08 When Donald Trump was indicted on criminal charges in New York City, Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green showed up to support him. A vocal and loyal ally. She has been a leader within the president's MAGAM movement. Until this weekend, when Donald Trump essentially kicked her out, Marjorie Trader Green is a disgrace to our great Republican Party, he wrote on social media. During a cable news interview, Green said she knows exactly what's behind the attacks. Unfortunately, it has all come down to the Epstein files, and that is shocking.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Green broke with the president demanding the full release of the Epstein files, an explosive fight dividing Trump's MAGA supporters and his Republican Party. But Rogers' customers across the country say it's out of control, and former insiders worry it could get worse. Erica Johnson has this go-public investigation. Starting point is 00:03:17 to cancel. So began hours and hours of trying to reach a human who could help. How many days am I expected to call someone just to cancel a simple internet service. On social media, Rogers customers complain of lengthy weights, getting the runaround disconnected. Former call center agents who handled Rogers customers worry it could get worse. They were part of recent layoffs at a call center contracted by Rogers. Hundreds lost their jobs after the employees had helped train an AI system that listened in, offered prompts. Rogers claiming only that AI will enhance customer service by making agents more efficient. Meantime, Anil Sadha was finally able to cancel his internet.

In the Canadian Football League, the Saskatchewan Rough Riders have defeated the Montreal Alouettes to win the 2025 Grey Cup. Into the end zone to flunkered and it falls to the field. and gray has just turned green and white. The Saskatchewan Ruff Riders and Trevor Harris have won the Grey Cup. It's the first Grey Cup title for Saskatchewan since 2013.
