Elle Fanning calls herself a Nepo sister.
That's probably because she appeared in the same film as her sister Dakota Fanning at just two years old.
It was the movie I Am Sam.
So for someone who's been famous nearly their whole life, there is a bit of a mystery surrounding Elle.
And if you ask her, that's intentional.
On Q with me, Tom Power, Elle Fanning will tell you why she wants to maintain some mystery around who she is
and how it makes her art better.

A new bill in Ontario is giving the...
Education Minister more power over school boards. The province can now easily sideline elected
school board trustees and replace them with appointed supervisors. The government says it's a necessary
step, while opponents call it a power grab. Megan Fitzpatrick reports. Premier Doug Ford's government
rushed Bill 33 through the legislature limiting debate and skipping public hearings. On Wednesday,
it passed a final vote, and Education Minister Paul Calandra is celebrating. Today is a very good day.
for students. It's a very good day for parents and an exceptionally good day for teachers who
just want the best for their kids. Bill 33 allows the government to more easily take control
of a school board, appointing a supervisor to run it and stripping power away from elected trustees.
Calander says it will enable him to quickly get school boards back on track that have fallen
off the rails. The legislation also requires boards to use police officer resource programs
if they're offered by a local police force. There have been multiple protests in response to that
measure in particular. Critics say the bill is anti-democratic and does little to address real challenges
in classrooms. Megan Fitzpatrick, CBC News, Toronto. A 17-year-old has been charged with second-degree murder
in Hamilton, Ontario. Police arrested him in connection with the shooting death of a 26-year-old woman
last summer. Belinda Sarko DiRefugee from Ghana was waiting for a bus when she was hit by a stray bullet
and killed. Hamilton Police Chief Frank Bergen. Steps away from an art crawl where I had thousands of
people were gathering that afternoon to enjoy the great culture and the great things that we have
in the beautiful city of Hamilton. And a young punk thinks it's okay and thinks they're entitled
enough to show up on a scooter and take the life of a 26-year-old young girl, Belinda,
from Ghana. The second suspect was also hit but survived the attack. The suspect can't be
named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. And Montreal and Quebec City have been named the top
two cycling cities in North America.
The statistics come from the global ranking of bicycle-friendly cities.
Overall, Montreal placed 15th in the world, Quebec City, 29th.
Montreal was recognized for its express cycling lanes, its bike share service,
and its support for bikes as a form of active transport all year round.
Quebec City made the list for its rapid expansion of the bike path network.
And that is the world this hour.
