This ascent isn't for everyone.
You need grit to climb this high this often.
You've got to be an underdog that always over-delivers.
You've got to be 6,500 hospital staff, 1,000 doctors,
all doing so much with so little.
You've got to be Scarborough.
Defined by our uphill battle and always striving towards new heights.
And you can help us keep climbing.

Mexican officials have carried out a number of rates
apparently linked to their hunt
for Canadian fugitive Ryan Wedding.
The former Olympic snowboarder is on the FBI's 10 most wanted list
over drug smuggling allegations.
Mandy Sham reports.
Dozens of high-end motorcycles,
two Olympic medals, meth and marijuana,
just some of the items seized in a season.
series of raids carried out by Mexican authorities. This is the most significant action taken by
Mexico's government so far against the alleged Canadian drug kingpin. Though the government's
statement doesn't identify Ryan Wedding by name, it says the raids targeted a foreign
Olympic athlete listed among the most wanted fugitives in the U.S., adding that the investigation
involves transnational criminal activity. He is responsible for engineering a narco-terrorism program
that we have not seen in a long time.
FBI director Cash Patel accuses wedding of drug trafficking
and killing a key witness against him.
This week, an Ontario court granted bail to Deepak Paradkar,
a lawyer alleged to have counseled wedding to carry out that murder.
Bradker has denied all wrongdoing.

U.S. President Donald Trump says he has ordered airstrikes in Nigeria
targeting ISIS militants.
On social media, Trump says the strikes killed what he called
terrorist scum. He claims the group had been systemically targeting Christians in the region
for months. The Trump administration has touted that view. U.S. officials say today's attack was
carried out at the request of Nigerian authorities. The country's northwest faces a broad
security crisis with several incidents of kidnapping at schools in recent weeks. Ukrainian president
Vladimir Zelensky says he spoke with top U.S. officials about ways to end the war with Russia.
Zelensky says he discussed new ideas with Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Whitkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner.
The conversation comes after Ukraine presented its own draft peace plan earlier this week.
Rescues and evacuations continue in Southern California, battered by heavy rains in flooding.
Officials have declared a state of emergency for several counties, and they say about 8 million people are at risk.
Steve Utterman reports from L.A.
It is a very wet Christmas day here in Los Angeles after a very wet Christmas day.
brief break overnight, the latest storm cell hit in the late morning, prompting new concerns.
The first wave on Christmas Eve resulted in mudslides, rock slides, and debris flows.
One of the hardest hit areas was the small town of Ritewood in the San Bernardino Mountains.
It was essentially cut off. There have been several deaths. In San Diego, a man was killed by a
falling tree, his daughter overcome with emotion. How do you go home on Christmas Eve and tell
your kids that their grandpa's dead?
I still can't find the words.
There is a high alert in areas that were hit in January's fires.
With vegetation burned out, there is little to hold barren mountains in place.
The rains are expected to continue into Friday.
