This ascent isn't for everyone.
You need grit to climb this high this often.
You've got to be an underdog that always over-delivers.
You've got to be 6,500 hospital staff, 1,000 doctors,
all doing so much with so little.
You've got to be Scarborough.
Defined by our uphill battle and always striving towards new heights.
And you can help us keep climbing.

From CBC News, the world this hour. I'm Mike Miles. The death of a man in an Edmonton
emergency room after allegedly waiting hours for treatment has the Alberta government ordering a review.
Eunice Hedari reports. He was gone. Because I, I was slapping. Prashan, Prashan, wake up. Don't, don't, don't.
Niharika Shrikumar was there when her husband Prashant died. She says it was after around
eight hours in an ER waiting room.
He'd gone to the hospital complaining of chest pains.
But the one time in his entire lifetime in Canada,
he needed that system, that treatment, that medical care, he was denied.
44-year-old Prashant Shrik Kumar's surviving family says he should have been seen by a doctor far sooner.
And they believe he was not triaged properly at Edmonton's Grayn's Hospital.
CBC News has not confirmed how busy the hospital's ER was that day.
It is run by Covenant Health, a Catholic agency,
within Alberta's health system who would not comment on specifics due to privacy.
On social media, the provincial minister for hospitals said he directed both the provincial health agency
and Covenant Health to review what led up to Shrikomar's death.
The chief medical examiner's office is also investigating.
And he said R.C.C. News, Edmonton.
Thailand and Cambodia have signed a ceasefire agreement after days of negotiation.
Now we invite the board's side to proceed with the actions of the side copies of the direct statement.
It halts weeks of fighting along their border.
If the peace holds for 72 hours, Thailand will repatriate 18 Cambodian soldiers
catcher it earlier this year.
Recent clashes killed at least 100 people and displaced more than half a million others on both sides.
The two countries have a long-standing border dispute dating back to 1907.
The Ukrainian president sat down with Prime Minister Mark Kearney in Halifax today
as Vladimir Zelensky makes a push to bring the conflict in his country to a close
with two big North American meetings this weekend.
They come after overnight attacks in Kiev killed one,
injured 27 others,
and left thousands without power in the winter cold.
J.P. Tasker reports.
We have the conditions, the possibility of a just and lasting peace.
Sitting down for a bilateral meeting in Halifax,
Prime Minister Mark Carney is pledging Canada's support
for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's plan to end the Russian war.
The attack on Kiev shows just how,
important it is that we stand with Ukraine.
While condemning Moscow's latest missile strike, Carney is also promising two and a half billion
dollars more in loan support for Ukraine to help with reconstruction if and when this nearly
four-year-long conflict comes to an end.
And this attack is again Russia's answer on our peace efforts.
Zelensky's next stop is Palm Beach, Florida for a meeting with President Donald Trump.
Ukraine wants the U.S. to sign off on security guarantees to protect it from future Russian attacks.
So far, Trump has been non-committal.
J.P. Tasker, CBC News, Washington.
In Tel Aviv, protesters are demanding an independent state commission to probe factors around the October 7th attack.
Maya Epstein is one of those protesters.
I am here demonstrating against the Israeli government for refusing to conduct a state commission of inquiry
and therefore harming the families of the hostages.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyah, who has not set up an independent state commission.
Earlier this week, though, he proposed a bill under which elected officials will be able to select a panel.
But that move will undermine the country's inquiry laws.
Currently, the judiciary has the power to select that panel.
